I bought 4 of these because they were on deal thru Brad’s Deals. The products are fine and you will be happy with them. I bought these to keep my dog from eating my vegetables. I built them by myself.

I am being nit picky because the construction and instructions are not that good. First the construction – when putting the long sides to attach to the shorter ends, there are long screws that are supposed to intersect with a nut that you put in the wood for tightening.

I made 4 of these beds, so out of 16 attempts, I was able to do it 8 times. It’s not like an IKEA product where the screw meet the nut and you twist the nut to “grab it”. You have to screw the screw into the nut and well if the nut isn’t sitting right then you are kind of screwed (no pun intended).

I fixed this by drilling some ling screws I had into the unit. Works just as well if not better. On the instructions, it suggests that if you are adding all of the bottom slats, you do them all at once then attach the other small side end.

If you are doing this by yourself, this will be a challenge as any slight move will move the long sides a part, and the slats will fall out of the tracks. After building my second one, I realized it was easier to add one of the bottom braces to keep the long sides aligned (instructions tell you to do this in a later step).

Overall, these are fine products. I bought 4 and will likely buy 2 more.

I purchased two of these in spring of 2020, assembled them, and filled them with loam. We got two seasons of vegetables from them, but by the middle of 2021 they started to come apart. The problem is a poor design, given the thickness of the Cedar wood used.

They use a mortise and tenon design to attach the walls. The wood is a soft cedar, and the tenons are short and thin. There’s now way that this design, with this grade of wood, was going to hold up. I spoke with BCP Prod Spt, who found my order, but said that it was purchased over a year ago, so it’s no longer under warranty.

I’m disappointed and would not purchase this product again, unless they changed the design and thickness of the Cedar. I’m going to have to reinforce the bed using exterior pieces of lumber.

I bought four of these in 2018. Year five, two have failed and two are just fine. One can be refurbished but the other is too rotten. I did NO maintenance. I now know you should do some yearly inspection/maintenance.

Be sure the posts are not sitting in wet soil. Check for good drainage; the black fabric protectors tend to hold water and the bottom will rot. Inspect the corners posts; they may start to separate. Watch out for any infestation of ANTS! Just installed three “double wides” and I will be keeping a close eye on these!!.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. It’s a piece of crap, not worth the money! The pieces were dovetail cut joints which were made so poorly, different size pieces which didn’t fit together … just junk! When I contacted the company, they didn’t care that that the pieces were so poorly made, they agreed to just send another unit.

My question is this… why produce a worthless product that you send out and when called on it, just tell the consumers that “…it doesn’t matter since we’ll replace it …. ” Yeah, great business model. Horrible products, worthless company!.

Really easy to assemble and quite attractive. I don’t intend to ever take these apart, so I glued all the joints during assembly. That took all of the movement out of the finished planterand they are quite sturdy.

I will be waterproofing them with a plant friendly oil so they should last for quite a while. They are big enough so two of them is enough for everything I need to grow right on my patio. Well worth the money.

If you are looking for a high-quality raised bed, go elsewhere. This support pieces began shredding as I was sliding the side panels inside them. Because of this, none of the sides are flush and the box is very rickety.

Additionally, the side panels are extremely thin and will not hold up more than one year. I have contacted support but their response was inadequate. The bed is already put together with dirt in it so, to disadisassemble it would be an extremely large project.

I regret purchasing it and urge others to beware.

I absolutely love them!! I bought 4 for my deck and my porch and usually pay double. All I had to do was use a water seal spray and put holes in the bottom for drainage. So worth it!!!

Bought this planter for my condo complex that has a small back porch. The size of the planter is perfect for my needs. Assembly is a breeze, only tool you need potentially is a rubber mallet. Helps to have two people but I put this together myself.

The planter is a little wobbly after putting together since there are no screws to secure the boards together. Everything is assembled via sliding the boards into slots. I attached 3″ caster wheels to the bottom to help move the planter around the porch, I recommend adding these if you ever intend to move the planter.

Overall, the planter looks great on my porch but I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish it were more sturdy.

I ordered the 48L x 34W x 32H Cedar Elevated box since it was on sale. So far it’s been great. It’s tall enough which makes gardening easy on my back, and it’s also out of the reach of our dogs. The legs are sturdy which is something I was looking for.

I ordered the safe-stained version which gave the wood a nice, lemony scent when we took it out of the box. It was simple to put together – all the pieces slide into place with no tools required. I also bought the wooden trellis in the picture which was a nice addition.

The only thing I didn’t like was that shipping took longer than 2 weeks, but that may not be the case for all orders. Looking forward to using this over the summer!.

Very rickety and poorly made. I had to put screws in to hold it together as it twists if you try to move it. The bottom slates are also so far apart that I had to buy extra fabric to stop the soil from falling through.

Lastly the boards are very rough, not sanded at all, so it’s tough to assemble. When trying to put it together some of the boards started to split. I would have returned it but it Took over 5 months to arrive.

It’s pretty but way over priced and Not worth the money at all.

My primary use for this planter is underneath my bird feeder to collect all the debris, which now keeps my deck looking nice. I also plan to double it as a planter. It looks great! I was really impressed by the packaging.

They wisely put the planter inside a protective plastic bag, then used expandable foam to make sure the package had zero play and arrived in tact. I give them a big A+ on packaging. Be aware that inside the packaging is a slip of paper that recommends (but not requires) use of an inside liner to protect the aesthetics of the sides; I used the plastic bag they provided along with my heavy duty Stanley stapler with 1/4in staples to tack it down.

I filled the planter half full of empty plastic jars and cans and then covered it all up with peat moss, leaving about 6 inches freeboard on top. Now it’s ready to plant.

These 3 largest planters are wonderful! Arrived safely and no problems. I took the suggestions of other customers and drilled more holes the bottom of the planters, painted two coats of Miniwax Indoor/outdoor Helsman Spar urethane, drilled in L-shaped metal Supports on the inside at the 4 corners, then stapled in heavy plastic liner, added two bags of gravel, 1 large bag of potting mix, plants, and mulch.

I also laid A layer of sand and then 10 pavers for the planters to sit on. I am very pleased with my purchase.

We had been looking for cedar planters for our porch. Living in the country has some disadvantages including having deer eat all your lovely flowering plants! Hence the need for planters on our front porch.

I stained them to match our cedar porch ceiling. They look fabulous!.

I was excited to use this beautiful planter for my tomatoe plants but there were several issues. First; the boards that line the bottom of the planter had about a 3/4 inch gap so any dirt in the planter could fall right through the hole, even with the liner.

Second; the inside measurement of the planter is much shallower than the outside measurement. It is hardly deep enough for tomato plants. Very disappointed seeing that it was almost $150. 00.

This planter is exactly what we were looking for. Big enough to hold plenty of the vegetables we love to grow in one planter without having to spend money on multiple pots. The height is perfect too, allowing us to plant and pick with out having to kneel, no back pain.

Easy to put together, sturdy and great craftsmanship. Applied coat of Boiled Linseed Oil and brought out the color in the cedar and looks professionally finished with one application. Made in USA!.

I bought this rustic planter box made of red cedar. The assembly is extremely simple and easy requiring no glue, screw or nail – simply assemble the precisely factory cut pieces together. It stands firm after filling with potting soil.

I purchased this planter box to plant my favorite herbs in. I will be keeping it on my outdoor patio, it looks great just like the pic shown on website. It came completely assembled in a sturdy box. I also purchased some fish pond liner to line the inside and will be using some sealer for the exterior so it will hopefully keep its pretty color for several years.

Ordered 3 of these for the deck in a very visible location next to my green house. They have already gotten many compliments and look amazing. Well-constructed with many hidden screws of good quality cedar boards, not cheap, rough fence boards like other builders.

Came lightly finished, with rich coloring. Will plant lots of flowers in these and I’m looking forward to having these on the deck for many years to come.

this planter is exactly was I needed to enable me to grow fresh produce without long periods of bending. the construction was simple and straightforward and no assistance was needed, a single person can assemble it.

important to have it level, at first I did not level the ground adequately and the planter box shifted when the dirt was place inside. once level it was stable. that was my bad, because the instructions tells you to level, I was just excited to get it up and did a short cut.

this gardening idea is fabulous. I walk around the garden box and take care of the soil and plants, and no rabbits eating my lettuce and beans. Again, a wonderful product.

Impressed with quality. I love my planter box! It”s so nice to have everything elevated. It”s a little better than I expected, but just means I can grow much more. It”s also very sturdy and attractive.

The box is pretty heavy and definitely required two people to carry. I have this on my roof deck and hoping to grow some veggies. They include a black cloth to cover the bottom of the planter so the soil doesn”t fall through the spaces between the wood slats.

My husband was able to put it together in about an hour. All the screws, etc. were there. After assembly we sealed the wood and added 4 small wheels to the bottom. This will allow me to move it around on our patio if it should rain or need sun or shade.

I’ve only had it for a week so I’m not sure how well it will hold up. But it looks very sturdy and compliments the patio. It’s larger than I expected but we have plenty of room.

I currently own 18 elevated garden beds in 2 different sizes. I am gradually replacing my older beds as needed, with these. The materials are of the highest quality and my husband can assemble them in about an hour or less for each one.

They look great and make gardening so much easier for someone like me in their 70s! No more kneeling, squatting, or bending over for me. As an added plus, weeds are almost non existent in elevated beds! I now can grow organic veggies and herbs not only for my husband and myself, but for 2 of our children and their families as well.

Although they are a bit pricy, I highly recommend these elevated garden beds,.

The pre-assembled end panels were poorly put together, spacing was not in accordance with written instructions for front and back panel assembly. Long Metal Platform Supports were cut too long to allow successful assembly of end panels to front and back panels; they required using a hack saw to cut off 1/8″ on each end! One pre-assembled end panel had a board so warped that it was impossible to insert in the CORNER frame.

All of these headaches could have been avoided with some quality control. While Gardner’s Supply is replacing all the defective parts, there is a 5-9 day shipping time to receive the replacement. So the project sits and waits!! Great product as long as you have the necessary corrective tools and skills to make the fixes.

Unfortunately, the poorly assembled end panels could not be corrected because the screw holes were 1/8″ out of place and a second hole would just expand the first one!.

I love the Height of this Elevated Raised Bed. I have arthritis, and I do not have to bend down when planting my Gladiolus. There were a couple of chips on the cedar wood. Assembly was not a problem at all.

My husband assembled it, with me as assistant on the side. I applied Oil for Cedar Wood and it looked fabulous! Would love to buy another one, but the Price is very high.

These planters and the wood facings are gorgeous. Everybody remarks on them and there is nothing to compare at the stores. The price is totally reasonable. They are sturdy, rich looking, and add so much as a material placed onto tile or brick.

They lend themselves to contemporary as well as classic surroundings.

Planters came as advertised and are very rustic, which we love! They came with gaps between the planking at the bottoms so water can escape. Having 3 different sizes affords variety which was what we were after.

Similar planters at nurseries sell for up to $80 each and don’t have the patina these have. Would recommend for those interested in purchasing who don’t want the new look at a reasonable price.

I love this planter. I was looking for something Rustic, something different than the plain ordinary planter and that was what I got with this. It gives my patio something extra. It brings more to my garden.

Super cute but put together with straight nails so if too much soil pressure, it busts open. Maybe reinforce before loading up.

Good size and neutral colour so will fit in with any yard decor. Unfortunately, one corner started coming apart so I am concerned about long-term longevity

Good quality boxes. We have two, one on each side of our front door. I did line them with garbage bags, cut to fit the inside so they would last longer. It’s our first season and they held up well and look very nice!.

I love this large planter. It arrived damaged. The plastic planter pot (insert) was cracked and the wooden base wasn’t assemble correctly in one spot. The seller only offered me $20 for the damage. I took it because I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item.

These containers are lovely but very deep with no drainage. I love them but I am still unsure what will fit in them. Maybe a small pine tree at the holidays. Pretty but check the measurements. Different than the photo suggests.

The raised garden bed was pretty easy to put together and I was able to move it outside by myself, so definately, a plus. I think it is pretty stable, looks great and looking forward to planting vegetables in it.

Stay away from this product. Parts missing. And most of all. The flimsy boards they use. Were split. Before they came out of the box. JUNK product. You can buy the tools and materials way cheaper than this product !!!.

Was extremely easy to put together by myself. I think I had it complete in 20 to 30 minutes from opening Box. Clear instructions and it looks beautiful.

Really like this simple but sleek box, wide base and sits low so it appears stable on windy days. Color is great. Would love to see one in black.
