Nice heavy duty hitch and great instructions for a simple bolt in. It would be nice if there were accommodations for the trailer plug on an older pickup and a way to attach the wiring similar to the factory “light weight” hitch.
As trite as this may sound, it would be nice if the person attaching the rating sticker took an extra 5 seconds to install it straight instead of slapping it on at a slight angle. It made me wonder who else working on the hitch has that same careful attention to detail.
With those simple and easy modifications this would be a 5 star product instead of three!.
Very easy to do. Hardest part was aligning the new bumper bracket with the hitch. After that was done it went quick. If you have to replace your bumper leave the frame side bracket loose for alignment.
Impact worked great to get the 17 yrs old bolts out.
Fit was good, all the holes lined up. My factory one was a little rusty as was the bumper so I replace them only to find out that this receiver does not utilize the factory Bumper Mount. Also found out there is not a spot for the factory trailer wiring so I’m going to have to purchase the Curt mounting kit.

DO NOT BUY!!!! My son received this tow truck for his bday and he was so happy and excited not many remote control tow trucks out there. Well after putting in new batteries in both the truck and remote, the remote loses connectivity.
I literally have to remove the batteries from the remote for them to sync up again. I have read and seen other reviews and this seems to be the same issue everyone is experiencing. This is frustrating to be taking the batteries out like every 5 mins.

Very nice trucks! Well made and delivery was fast and efficient. One minor gripe – the packaging was however very oversized and loose, so everything was rattling around inside! This could have lead to damage in transit but luckily not the case on this occasion.

Hello! I’ve skated mostly independent trucks for most of my time skating. But I wanted to change things since I’m increasing my deck size, so I had to buy new trucks to fit my new board. These trucks are quite different to what I’m used to with skating indys.
The biggest thing I like about these trucks is the way it makes my pop feel more responsive. The trucks are a bit shorter than indy’s which makes your tail hit the ground faster than the indy’s, leading to a snappier pop.
the wheelbase is also a bit shorter so they turn a bit differently also. I immediately noticed that my board felt way lighter when i had these ons, almost too light at first. But I got used to it and now it feels amazing.
i feel like these trucks are made for tech skaters. Manuals, flat, curbs, stairs, and flatbars feel great with these. i bought these for an 8. 38 deck, but they will fit nicely on every deck between 8.
3 to 8. 6. The bushings is stiff but I’m certain that they will be softer when, I break them in fully. Overall, I’m happy with these trucks. It made skateboarding feel new again to me and I feel like I’m a more consistent skater with these.

I normally just dig a straight up polished steel truck but I can dig an all black truck too. I personally think it looks like a right banger. As far as the functionality goes it is what a Thunder truck is.
It pushes out the wheel base a little more than what an Indie or an Ace would and it turns slightly worse than both. It does weigh around 40 grams less than both of those though and that is not to be scoffed at.
I\’d personally use Thunders on boards with 14 or 14. 25 inch wheel bases whereas I\’d use Indies and Aces on 14. 25 or 14. 5 inches or above decks. These Thunders are a stable truck that is sturdy whilst still being less weighty.
