20 Best Usb Flash Drive For Music In Car (2023 Updated)

The Lexar S80 Jumpdrive is my go to flash drive model. It replaced the S75. And 256 GB is my go to capacity. These are the flash drives I’ve purchased most often in recent memory. 256 GB may be overkill for most people, but if you’re looking for higher capacity, it’s the largest, save for the recent 512 GB and 1 TB versions that have been manufactured recently.

However, those are considerably more expensive. There is an easy to use slide out for the USB connection which is an improvement on the S75. The S75 had a rather stiff slide out mechanism. The S80 is much easier while still maintaining a solid lock when in the locked position.

There are really only 2 downsides. The S75 had an activity indicator light which the S80 lacks. Also, on large writes, the writing is done in “bursts. ” You will get a block of data written, then a bit of a pause, after which writing resumes again.

Generally, when I need a flash drive, the S80 in 256 GB capacity is the one I find myself buying more often than not.

To find great prices at Office Depot, it pays to stay alert. A 256GB Lexar USB Drive was on sale at a very competitive price. I would not have found the sale price without doing a search on the Office Depot Web Site.

Sometimes items with the best prices are not readily advertised. So, check in to the web site often and particularly when you have a specific need. I’m pleased I did. The Lexar USB Drive fulfilled a need for picture digital storage space.

Lexar quality and reliability is always a plus when buying flashdrives. This one is the fastest one yet, at USB 3. 1, and also has the largest memory, with 256G. A great buy for the money and well worth the price.

This 1TB flash drive is a must have for those with high storage needs, as well as a fast speed for copying/reading when in use. They have a great outer cover for protection against drops, spills and other mishaps.

If in use for a long period, they will heat up significantly, but then very quickly they’ll cool off again. Should this affect the copying/reading speeds of approximately 440MBPS, it’s usually less than 1/3 of a drop, and only while hot, thus temporarily.

I’ve certainly put these down as my favourite, and would recommend them to anyone. They also have a 5yr warranty with them for faults/deaths.

This is by far the fastest, biggest and most reliable USB flash drive I’ve ever owned. It’s also modestly priced compared to many of the other offerings out there. You can back up your entire hard drive in under an hour with this SSD based flash drive.

It doesn’t overheat and it’s quite durable: At least two of my drives have survived going through the wash. The case is very strong (steel)! This drive is used every day and I have had a series of these of varying sizes from 64, 128, 256 and 512 GB.

They all work brilliantly. They come with a decent 3 year warranty. which you’re unlikely to ever need unless you get unlucky. or treat the drive badly. Corsair are very easy to deal with on warranty issues.

so if you have a problem it won’t be hard to get some help. If they bring out a 1TB version I’ll probably line up to buy one. I love my Corsair SSD flash drive. It is the best USB Flash drive I can find.

Flash drive was NTFS formatted, Plugged it straight into USB 3. 1 port on top of my pc case, copied a 9 GB file separately and then an 8 GB file separately straight to it from a 512GB Samsung Pro NVMe SSD with windows 10 operating system on it, In windows 10 I saw a maximum of 300mb/s for a few seconds, lows of about 50 then copy speed averaged about 60 MB/s, although it did fluctuate.

The files copied took about 2 minutes or just under, it does what I need it to do and is faster than my other basic USB 3 flash drives. This was my observed results in real world conditions rather than a specific software benchmark.

It is fairly heavy but feels good and got quite warm when I copied several large files to it. It is so convenient for my personal usage and although I have a spare 128 GB SSD it would mean I have to find an adapter for portable usage.

I would recommend it in cases like my own.

I bought this in the store at my husbands request. When he strarted using it. he told me that he had to download the encrypted software in order to use. so he said for me to take it back. When I brought it back to the OFFICE DEPOT on NW EXPRESSWAY in OKC.

The two men helping me inquired why I was returning it and they took the jump drive and plugged it in and showed me how to use it. The encryption software is AN OPTION. You don’t have to download it if you don’t want to.

Also there were Tutorials on there to show you how to use the jump drive. I am thankful for the technical support and instruction from those men who assisted me because I kept the jump drive for myself.

The Lexar Jump Drive S80 USB 3. 1 flash drive, 32 GB worked well. I had no problems with saving pictures to it or retrieving them from it. It was very fast. It’s speed is determined by the speed of the port you are using the flash drive in.

Not all ports are 3. 0 compatible. Yours may be 2. 0. If your are not getting fast speeds from this flash drive it may well be the port you are using it in. It worked as expected on my system.

I bought 4 of these for recording video on a video capture recorder. Also use for transferring files of all types. Have had them about a year and have had no problems with repeated use. I have used some lesser flash drives that could not reliably record video.

Note that I am recording pretty compressed video–fairly low bit rate of say 5000kbps or less, so I can’t vouch for recording higher spec video than that. These things feel sturdy enough, not too bulky but big enough so that they are easy to handle without dropping as I tend to do with tiny thumb drives.

I kind of like the metal protector- rotates & clicks into place either closed or 90 degrees or 180 degrees/open. Not dust proof or water resistant but no cap to lose.

Bought this when it was on sale for $15. At that price I would say this product has an above average design. There is no cap so you won’t have to worry about losing it. The surface is well polished and it does look fairly nice compared to the plastic casings on most flash drives at this price point.

There is also a hole on it so you can hook it onto your keychain easily. However, when it comes to performance, I wasn’t very impressed by it. Running crystaldiskmark shows about 90 read and 40 write (USB3).

Transferring actual files is a nightmare. My 3GB project took 30 minutes to transfer and the drive would disconnect from the OS on its own randomly from time to time. I left the flash drive plugged into my hard drive for about 5 hours (it was idle most of the time) and when i tried to unplug it the temperature on the flash drive was more than uncomfortably hot.

And that was my experience on the first day of receiving the unit. After a few days the drive just stopped working. It won’t be recognized on my computers – on windows it would show a 200mb usable partition and a 63gb unusable partition, and if i try to do anything with it in the disk manager, it just won’t let me by throwing me random errors.

On mac the drive is found under disk utility but the partition remains unmounted. When i tried to verify/repair/partition/format, it would just say “unable to unmount” every time. Interestingly the drive would still overheat even though it isn’t being used.

I think (and hope) the majority of this product out there works better than the one I received, so this might be 1/10000 of the defective ones; but I wanted to let everyone know that the quality control on this product might not be the best and it is possible that you will receive a bad one.

This is why you should buy these products from B and H. This product worked fine but I got error messages when trying to load video files more than 2 G. All it took was one simple phone call to B and H customer service and the agent taught me how to reformat the disc to accept larger files.

I want to emphasize that this was not a problem with this particular product – all usb drives need to be reformatted in order to accept larger files and if I had not bought this from B and H with excellent help and customer service, I would have never figured out the problem.

Fast enough, but not super fast – the sequential write is “up to” 130MB/s. The 64GB Titan version was AU$25, online, direct from Samsung. Good value in my view – if it survives some years. The BAR’s design is smaller than most, but it is stylish and well proportioned.

I’ll tell you if its RELIABLE in 5 years’ time. My old SanDisk Flair did not survive the tortures of being attached to a key ring, despite having a reasonable amount of metal for electrical protection.

Samsung’s BAR is completely surrounded in metal, so I am hoping this will protect the internal chip from static discharges.

I needed to replace my aging 32GB thumbdrive as I couldn’t fit as many ISO’s as I needed on it for booting with Ventoy for work purposes. I saw this online, and ordered it during breakfast. The very next day, my drive was delivered to North Queensland!! I am able to copy ISO files to the new 256G drive at over 100MB/s.

It could quite possibly be faster, but my NAS and WiFi won’t keep up anyway. I’m yet to do any crystalmark tests, but I have no doubt it’s more than fast enough for normal file transfers. After transferring the 40GB of ISO’s I needed, the drive was a little warm, but the metal case would help dissapate the heat anyway.

Rubbish. Utter rubbish. It lasted less than a year and wasn’t even used that much. I only used this one to replace the other Samsung metal o-ring USB drive which also failed with a year. I’m concerned the other drives I have with music and personal data on them may also suddenly die and be unrecoverable like these two.

Samsung make great SSDs and NVMe drives but their flash drives are total garbage in my experience. The build quality is great but if the internals are of such poor quality that they die so easily then what’s the point of producing them? It’s a waste of time and materials.

So about this 5 year warranty Samsung?!.

First off, I’d just like to express my delight at how incredibly cheap flash memory has become in recent years. I haven’t shopped for flash drives for a while and I was blown away by the prices for relatively high capacity drives! Since the drives are so large now, I placed an extra priority on the durability of the drive, the drive housing, and (especially) the USB connector.

I’ve had cheap flash drives die on me in the past due to the port breaking. That’s fine with a 512MB drive that might hold a handful of pictures or something, but I’d rather that this not happen to a 32GB drive that might hold a *lot* of important data.

I’ll probably use this drive an additional backup for some files that I find particularly important, in addition to using it to move files around when needed. I haven’t used it for that long or put it through particularly tough situations, but the drive seems pretty durable so far! The body is made out of a pretty tough looking, relatively thick metal.

There aren’t any moving or retractable parts that might break if used improperly. The drive doesn’t stick out *that* far from the device it’s plugged in to, so it isn’t at that much risk of having something get caught on it and breaking the port that it is using.

The design is fairly attractive, too. It has a satin finish on it, though the bottom of the drive quickly began to show some wear from the retention parts of USB ports that I’ve inserted it in. It isn’t significant and doesn’t detract from the look, though.

I really appreciate that the design includes a hole to to attach the device to a keychain or lanyard. I wish that a small loop of line (or something else to use to attach it to that keychain/lanyard) were included in the package, though, since those can be kind of tough to find if you don’t happen to have one laying around.

I’d definitely pay the extra $0. 50 or whatever for that, but it isn’t that big of a deal that it isn’t included. It supports up to USB 3. 1, which means that it can transfer data pretty quickly! A surprisingly large amount of the other flash drives that I saw in the store only supported USB 2 (and a handful supported the better, but not quite as good, USB 3.

0), so it is notable that this device supports this newer, faster standard. It is backwards compatible with USB 2 and 3. 0 ports and USB 3. 2 ports are backwards compatible with USB 3. 1 devices. I believe (but am not 100% sure) that this device will be compatible with the forthcoming USB 4.

0 standard, so long as you use the proper USB-A to USB-C adapter (USB 4. 0 doesn’t support the USB-A connector, which has been deprecated).

This is another junk product. Case is very nice and strong. Problem is it will not allow a large file to be transferred onto it. Kept these around for spares and when I needed to use them they will not allow transfers of very large files.

Never ran into this type of BS before. They say 32 gb, what they forgot to tell you is they only can take small files. This was formated in multiple formats and all did the same thing so they cannot say it was not properly formated.

I think that the build quality is very good. I’ve used pendrives of 6 companies before and none have a build quality like this. I’ve used this product for 3 months and the speed has been up to the mark.

I use other products of Samsung too, and there are some products which are of normal quality but I think that most of the products are extremely good and are a perfect value for the consumer’s money.

I hope that Samsung will continue to build amazing products for the consumers to enjoy.

Yes it has a cap you can lose, and the R/W switch isn’t as hard to move as some would like, but it seems to be solidly made, has worked with a variety Windows computers I’ve used it on. Not too many write-protectable USB flash drives out there any more.

I was still using a little tiny 128 MB drive from the dark ages of computing! This one is big enough, fast enough, and not ridiculously expensive. Taking data and software to strange computers? You gotta have one of these, and the Kanguru FlashBlu30 is plenty good enough.

BTW, my local computer shop, with a large tech area, uses these, and nothing else, to move data and software to their incoming customer’s computers, which are often compromised in one way or another.

They need some competition. Its a solid drive that has outlasted the only alternative I have found. 3 of the cheaper alternative ones have failed at the connector while this more expensive product keeps chugging along.

That said; for the price the r/w speeds are slow and capacity is limited. in bulk the little write protect dip switch is only costing a few cents so kanguru is raking it in here.

I wanted to keep my home movies safe. I found every flash drive and memory card, I had could be easily, accidentally erased. I thought I was stuck keeping all those old DVD around to protect their information.

The Kanguru Flashblu 30 solved my problem. I have tried to erase them in windows and andriod but with the switch locked i could NOT erase or corrupt the information. My home movies are priceless memories, the Kanguru Flashblu 30 is worth every penny.

I have used USB flash drives for years to make backup copies of business and personal documents, personal music and photos, etc. Over the years I have used many brands, some of which have had problems, but I have never had any defects in a Lexar USB drive, so now that is all I use.

These 32 GB drives work well and quickly. I like using USB 2 drives instead of USB 3 because they are ready to work as soon as you plug them in, while USB 3 drives take time to initialize. I recommend these drives, but I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 since all my previous Lexar flash drives have had a built in light that flashes when data is being transferred, giving you some visual confirmation that it is working and showing when it is finished.

These new ones have a revised design and have eliminated the light.

Bought a package of two, needed for a presentation I was doing. One of the thumbdrives did not work, so I used the other one. Went back to Staples in Pueblo Co to see what they could do. He told me I needed both drives in the package to return.

He told me to delete everything on the good drive and then bring it back. wow All he had to do was have me purchase another package with 2 and take one out and put it with the defective one and return it to the manufacturer.

I bought these to restock and they are fine, but I’m not crazy about their “stubby” shape. Inserting it, it wants to close up, and when removing it, there isn’t alot sticking out the end to grab. Hey, if that’s the biggest gripe I can come up with, I’m not doing too bad.

I liked the idea of a capless flash drive. It was tough to slide the cover back to insert into computer. After spending hours transferring photos from my computer to flash drive, I discovered sliding cover does not slide closed.

What good is it if the cover won’t slide closed? I dread having to transfer the same photos again onto another flash drive. I won’t trust this design again.

I had one simple criteria — I wanted a USB Flash Drive that would be compatible with my old MacBook. I didn’t want to have to download software to make it work, etc. Thankfully, this one worked perfectly.

Plug and play. The only tiny hitch is just be aware you have to push the Flash Drive ALL THE WAY in. You’d think that’d be obvious, but realized I didn’t push it in far enough at first (but thought it was in).

Otherwise, seamless and easy to use. Very happy.

it works but as a usb2 it is not fast -i reformatted to ntsc with no problems but if you are using it for large files 4gig plus would recommend an usb3-but for small files1 g and lower -it does the job.

USB thumbdrive looks great, but ergonomically awkward with a terrible mechanical design. It should be so simple: slide it open when ready to plug in, slide it closed when done. No, my friends, not so fast.

In reality, the thumb grip is far too shallow and slippery, making it almost impossible, on some units, to ever open! You have to jam a fingernail in the narrow gap and force the USB connector out to use.

Then, once open, the retention force is inadequate to hold the drive open. So, when trying to insert the drive into a USB slot, the drive will frequently partially or fully close itself and NOT complete a simple USB insertion.

Thus you are now starting the process over again. I could understand getting one aspect of the design wrong – opening, or closing – but it boggles the mind that both are executed so poorly and yet the product made it out into the market.

I ended up just rage snapping off the protective slides, in order to use the three pack my office bought.

This product is JUNK. I had to go to the Internet and search for the Verbatim password protection software, download it, and install it on onto the flashdrive. Verbatim could not provide this password software with the flashdrive purchase.

When I installed the password protection, a windows-explorer type screen opened, but I could not do anything in the window, like copy or move files to Windows Explorer. I have a second older Verbatim password protected flashdrive and it is beautiful.

I can open the old flashdrive in Windows Explorer with the old password move and copy files.

I ordered this drive for an old sound board. We often have a red screen of death when trying to record onto the USB. That error has been random, seemingly. Our theory is that the 8GB drive we were using is too large for the board, which is probably expecting FAT16 formatting.

So I ordered a pair of these 4GB drives. On our first attempt at using the drive it failed after a few minutes. There was no indication of size on the plastic housing, but when I extended the drive’s USB plug and looked at the bottom, it says 8GB.

The other downside is that the plastic is not grippy enough, and the slight raised ridge not high enough, to make it easy to open the drive with one hand. I have to put a thumbnail into the back edge of the plastic slider and get it started, then it opens fine.

All in all, not a good experience.

I have had this for a few years, but it has not been heavily used. It recently stopped working. When it did work, the speed was good. Now when I plug it in, the drive shows up as a “”2301 Boot ROM”” device which seems to indicate that the controller cannot communicate with the flash memory.

I like the form factor but it could be shorter. The best feature is the hardware write-protect switch. That and prior experience with Kanguru products led me to choose this. Unfortunately the durability might not be great.

I mostly kept this clipped in an inside pocket in my backpack and it is possible it got jostled around too much but I have other thumb drives that have survived longer.

Good speed and great to keep your AV/anti malware tools on if your a bench tech. Just flip the switch and you can plug in the drive with little worries of infecting the drive. I have 4 of these drives and one is dead.

At this cost I would have expected the drives to be able to handle an accidental wash. I haven’t opened the bad drive to check, but I’m expecting it’s not potted which is a relatively cheap way of making the drive water resistant.

My only other gripe “”and this is a common one for USB drives”” is the cap. If you use the lanyard you can’t put the cap on the back. But overall its a good drive and really the only option I have found with a wright protect switch.

Super fast transfers both ways, solidly built, best of all is the physical write lock switch. I was a bit concerned from the reviews saying the switch slips to off when plugging it in, but I must conclude operator error on those as the switch has a discernible feel and click to it.

I have had no such issue of accidentally turning the read/write lock on or off as I realize it is there.

This is the best USB thumb drive I’ve found to date. It’s fast, it never gets hot, and it’s small enough to fit any USB socket—even on machines that have other USB connectors plugged into adjacent sockets, and even on the Apple extended keyboard, where the USB sockets are recessed on the underside of the keyboard.

Operating temperature is an important consideration for me. I wanted a USB stick that I can use as a TechTool ProToGo boot drive for running diagnostics and repair on any Mac running macOS 10. 13 or higher.

That means the USB drive would not only be booting the computer, but also running the diagnostics and repair software. I’ve used this USB drive for that purpose on a MacBook Pro to run a file optimization program, and the stick never got hotter than warm to the touch.

The quality of the Philips ‘snow’ usb 2. 0 flash drive leaps out at you when you first see it, You can feel the quality when you hold it in your hand, as one tends to expect these days it is also very light in weight.

The nitty gritty bit is when it is in use, once plugged in the led flashes to tell you it’s working and when transfering data I find that it’s pretty fast as well. it suits my needs right down to the ground, I can’t fault it.

Buying three in one pack is brilliant.

Great for Windows 10 machine restore backups and I think the price is good, brand excellent, bought these before, never any problem.

Pulling hard at all on the end cap of this Flash Drive to remove it from your computer port causes the small rounded cap to pop off. Doing so bends the cheap metal casing & the cap will then be loose after that when opening the other end to reveal the plug.

Luckily we are only using these for archive storage of DR Manual at managers homes, not heavy use. I was up against deadline to purchase, load and deploy these in same day – otherwise I would have returned.

I am pleasantly surprised. I purchased 2 but have only used one. I had no issues, so far. I was able to transfer videos and pictures to free up space on my cell phone. I got these at an awesome sale price of $15.

I’ve used this kind of Trancend for a long time. I love them. I had bought 3 of the 16 GB Trancend types where the USB connector slid out. That is a terrible design. I could never get the USB connector to stay out far enough to connec to the port, it would always go back in, so I guess it didn’t lock in the “out” position.

I saw this big 128 GB and knew I had to have it. Hard to believe my first PC I brought home in 1996 to work at home as a medical transcriptionist was a Win 3. 11 with 1 GB hard drive. I only wish the 128 GB Transcend flash drive had a colored collar like the others I have.

These flash drives from Transcend are great for using as bootable USB sticks. Not all makes of USB sticks are bootable but the Transcend sticks have no problem. This is the second Transcend stick I have purchased, the first one being an 8gb and now I have purchased the 16gb.

They have a small blue light that flashes to indicate that the USB stick is being activated or in use, but it;s a “quiet” gentle flash as opposed some other USB sticks that flash like a police car! The build quality is not too bad, the body is of hard light plastic that would survive most accidental drops.

however if you accidentally stepped on one of these Transcend sticks they would most likely break. but then again most USB sticks other than the all metal type would likely break too. The actual USB connecting tip is metal though, which means it’s going to be more hard wearing than other USB sticks which have plastic USB tips.

Regarding Transcend as a brand, (doing some Google research) they are a Taiwanese as opposed a mainland Chinese company, and they are reportedly the second company in the world to begin manufacturing USB stick so they have a decent pedigree.

I have no qualms in recommending these USB sticks especially at the bargain price I managed to purchased these for!.

I always try to use Transcend flash drives because they have proved to be reliable over the years and are now much more affordable. They are well i guess fast although i havent gone to the trouble of speed testing them to give an accurate figure, but they are fast enough for what i need, and to be honest reliability is far more important to me.

The only down point i could give them is that they have the obligatory loose lid, that is probably the part that goes missing the quickest, they do have a reasonable hole that will take a key ring and it is one of the few flash drives in the Transcend range that wont break when fastened to a keyring.

Transcend is one of the better brands that i would recommend, and the one thing you can be sure of is that if it says its 8-16-32-64-128gb etc. it will be exactly what it says on the packet.

Slow drives might be OK if you’re using them only occasionally and for small documents. But, if you’re routinely transferring more than a couple GB, this JetFlash is well worth the few extra dollars.

Having never used a cheap junk flash drive before, I was shocked recently when it took over 20 minutes to copy 3GB of 10-14MB JPEGs onto a client’s flash drive while we all twiddled our thumbs and watched the clock.

At that rate, it would have taken almost two hours to fill up a 16GB drive! As a pro photographer, I rely on Transcend CompactFlash and SD cards in my cameras. They are well priced, perform well and have been very reliable.

The price/performance ratio of the Transcend USB flash drives is similarly good. I’ll use this in place of a portable hard drive when shuttling photos from a job or two between my various work places.

Overall is a great product for the money I payed for. I use on a daily basis for my school work or just to save picutes. I am not disappointed at all with it since is really affordable. I have even bought one for my daughter.

I would actually recomend this for certain people.

Love that this flash drive has 32GB of storage. This is plenty for most of my needs and has a sleek design. This product met my expectation and I would recommend it to others in the future. Overall good quality flash drive, although most flash drives are the same.

Came loose in the shipping package not new. Doesn’t have 16Gb of storage. Can’t fit anything on it. Can’t even store 2 gb

I have not used it long but all initial workings have been positive. I use Windows XP, Vista, and 7. It comes with Mac support but I have no application for that. Nothing fancy – just good, solid and affordable.

Pros: High Capacity, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Reliable, Portable Cons: Other thoughts: Being used for easy backup of remote staff. Safe w/ encryption, easy, fast, and plenty of storage. Sturdy case (for plastic), and always loved the sliding hide away connector.

Only complaint is the speed isn’t phenominal, although it is comparable with other average SanDisk flash drives. Doesn’t quite compare with some higher performance flash drives.

I wasn’t familiar with this brand but I decided to take a chance based on some decent (though inconsistent) reviews from around the web. The performance results that I did find from various review sites varied so I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to use this as a drive for transferring files or as a (mostly) read-only drive for loading OS and various utilities.

I had no problems accessing adjacent usb ports on my various desktops and laptops with this drive inserted. The swivel cover has 4 distinct “locked” positions. When rotated to the rear it stays snug enough so that it doesn’t flop around when trying to insert the drive into a port.

WIth the somewhat disappointing write performance of this drive I’ll only be using it in the read-only capacity. For transferring data I’ll stick to my other USB 3. 0 drives like the Sandisk Extreme 32GB which has 2x the read performance and 5x the write performance.

Durability and longevity are unknowns for now, if I have any problems I post a follow up review. Overall I give this USB drive a solid 4 eggs for it’s form factor/design, build quality, solid read performance and price paid.

I bought this flash drive in 2014, and it has been my great companion since then. It is its read/ write speed that attracts me for such a long time. It is a speedy USB 3. 0 drive. I plugged it both on my Windows PC and Macbook Air transferring and copying files.

It took me only 12. 1 seconds to copy a 1. 43 Gigs movie file on my Macbook Air. What ‘s more, copying back from the USB drive to laptop is even faster. It clocked only at 7. 31 seconds! I did another test to assure my previous test.

By using a quick 500MB Crystal Disk Mark test, it showed read at 218 MB/s and write at 88. 81 MB/s. Nice!Another amazing part of this item is its outstanding design! It is shiny black with diamond pattern.

And I can hang it on my key chain. The swivel metal cover is another surprising design that both protect the contacts without having to worry about losing cap. Last but not least, about its price, it is also second to none.

I couldn’t find anything for under $ even for a USB 2. 0. Yet, the price went around $ when I pressed Add to Chart. Perfect!Currently, it has been performing so great that I haven’t had any cons on the device.

Gabby and her boss (didn’t write down his name) were most helpful to me. I needed to put important documents on a flash drive or whatever they suggested. They talked it over and decided on this flash drive.

I only buy Lexar. The other brands usually break more frequently. I wished the prices were better for Lexar brand. I enjoy the availability of sizes in memory space available. There should be more colors and a way to label my usb drives.

Although, there are no label spaces, a keychain can be added and a place to label with tags, perhaps. Passcode protection would also be nice. I enjoy the sliding protective case cover when not-in-use.

Drive itself is fine. I bought it because Staples couldn’t print from MY thumb drive – so tried this one – but Staples didn’t know or say that the issue is Staples cannot read encrypted drives, which is what every employer with a sense of security is mandating.

Staples was also ADVERTISING with printed posters on the wall but NOT ACTUALLY OFFERING the option to print from GoogleDrive or DropBox. So don’t believe what Staples says about onsite printing. Buy your own darn printer like we had to.
