There are a few different types of underwear that can help prevent chafing for men. Boxer briefs are a good option because they provide support and coverage without being too tight. Another option is to wear compression shorts, which can help to wick away sweat and keep the area dry.
Loose-fitting boxer shorts can also help to prevent chafing by allowing the skin to breathe and providing a layer of protection.
20 Best Underwear For Men To Prevent Chafing

Odor protection and quick dry fabric helps you feel fresh and keep dry. Lightweight stretch fabric moves with you.
On the whole, I liked these a lot more than I thought I would. I usually wear cotton trunks. I prefer softer fabrics. But I found this synthetic fabric to be reasonably comfortable. The front seam was not as problematic.
Though there were a few times that it chafed a bit. I liked the fit. I always wear underwear a size bigger than one might think. I’m 5’7″ about 170 and wear a large. I don’t like the waistband too tight.
The “pouch” in the front was the right amount of support and room. The band didn’t roll. The fabric was really breathable. I think they will be great in the summer. Probably could get away with wearing them at the gym if I forgot my compression shorts.
Length was good. Fit was great. Didn’t ride up. The only Major issue was the colors. The accent of gray inside the fly was extremely weird. And the tie dye pair is basically unwearable. I would absolutely never buy a pair of underwear with that patterns.
I bend over or squat down and that pattern sneaks out. I can’t have that. I kinda like the bright blue, but even that’s a little garish. Basic colors, or I wouldn’t buy, which is a shame, because they are pretty great.
I liked the fact that these briefs are built for more of an active lifestyle than solely for compression. I wear these when I go workout and they do not ride up, plus there is plenty of space in all the right places.
The colors are simple and subtle which is what I like, and they stay true to size when comparing across other brands. The pair that I received are still very new, so it isn’t clear how durable they will be.
However, I have ran them through the washer and dryer a few times and they seem to be holding up really well. I am a bit worried that the waistband will lose some ifs elasticity, as it isn’t the same quality feel and some other brands’ elastic.
But it’s still too soon to speculate on durability. Lastly is the cost. These are significantly more affordable than what is similar at bigger name brand stores. I would rather buy a 3-pack of these than a single pair of boxer briefs from other big brand companies.
I highly recommend giving them a try. It’s a good pair of briefs to have in your drawer.
These best-selling underwear for men come in a wide range of prints for everyday wear. Vibe men’s boxer briefs feature a slim fit and are form fitting for easy layering. Vibe boxer briefs have a 5 inch inseam and is built without a fly.

In my search for the Holy Grail of everyday use boxer briefs, these came close to just that. For me the Holy Grail is: versatile, comfortable, durable, and no ride up. Versatility these are great. Comfort I’d say they’re not as comfy as Undercover or Vibe, but the ballpark pouch is good/supportive.
Durability these are great, the material is stronger than Undercover or Vibe, and creates less friction/frizz/pilling in the groin area of the boxers. As far as ride up goes, these are as close to no ride up as I’ve experienced in the SAXX pairs I’ve worn.
There still is some ride up, but pretty minimal, so I’m pleased with that. Others news and notes about Daytripper: I felt sexy in the multi-predator design! I find the material of the Daytrippers are more solid and sturdy feeling, less floppy, which is good for activities involving lots of walking.
I would recommend these for walking commuters especially, or light hiking. I would not recommend these for lounge wear. They’re not as relaxing to wear when just chilling. For chilling loungewear, I like Undercover or Vibe.
I have not tested the Daytrippers when doing rigorous sports activity, so I can’t speak to that. But the sturdy polyester material I suspect could be good for rigorous sporting activities too. As far as sizing, I’d say these are a smaller fit than any “relaxed fit” boxers SAXX sells, but larger than any “slim fit” boxers from SAXX.
I’m 5’6″ 200lbs, I got a Large and it’s snug. Fits great when walking but when I sit down it feels tight around the waist. My next pair of Daytripper will be XL. Thanks for reading! Hope it helps many people on here!.
This underwear is incredible! I’m a tall guy who always was self conscious about concealing his package. Along with having low hangers. When wearing dress pants/shorts the previous underwear wouldn’t keep things in place.
It was uncomfortable and embarrassing to constantly readjust discreetly at meetings or excusing myself to the bathroom. My balls would separate, stick to my thigh, you could visibly see them through my pants.
Also, the fabric would stretch out over time making containment even worse. This new underwear is life changing. I put everything in the pouch and it stays there. The 2 pieces of extra fabric lining the pouch contains my balls no matter what activity I’m performing.
The fabric is soft, breathable, cradles your package. I can finally get dressed and not have to worry about my junk falling out or someone glancing down thinking I’m not wearing underwear. Who ever thought of this is genIus! Wish someone had thought of this sooner.
Thank you SAXX you made my me and my junk very happy!.
Finding comfy underwear has become like looking for the holy grail…the Monty Python version. I’ve heard good things about SAXX so I gave the Hot Shots a try. – very expensive – great fabric concept but too rough.
After an easy six mile walk on a moderately humid and warm east coast day, I have blister hotspots where there should be none, mostly at the seams. – very tight fit at the crotch, even though I sized up to an XL – bunches up like much less expensive brands.
+ the giggly bits pouch is comfortable + the fabric design, while rough, breaths extremely well. +/- comfy enough for sitting around the office or working around the house. I’m an active 5’9 220lb involved in multiple outdoor activities.
These might work for climbing and biking but not hiking or running. At this price point, these are not for me.
Pouch separates and supports with breathable mesh liner. Cooling, moisture wicking fabric and waistband keep you cool and dry for all day comfort. No ride up fit – designed to stay in place when you move.
Smooth, flat seams prevent chafing and provide ultimate comfort.
I received these as part of a product testing program and when they arrived I was a bit skeptical because they did not look like any other boxer briefs I had ever worn. The fabric looks almost like silk (which is not something I would wear) however, after trying them on and wearing them I realized what a fantastic material it was.
First, they don’t stretch out of shape like cotton does. That is not to say they aren’t stretchy, they fit snug and contour to your body. Second, the material is moisture wicking, it doesn’t have the downside of retaining moisture (let’s be honest, sweat) and bunching like cotton boxer briefs do.
Third, the pouch in the front of the briefs was not something I had ever actively sought out in a boxer brief, and now I can’t see making an underwear purchase where it is absent, everything stays in exactly the right place, and there was none of the sticking or adjusting that comes with regular cotton briefs on very hot days.
I know it might not be an issue that bothers everyone, but I find it extremely annoying when the elastic band at the top of a brief moves up or down my waist throughout the day, and I was pleasantly surprised that the Champion boxer briefs stayed in the same spot on my waist the entire time I wore them.
So yes, at first I was skeptical because of the look of the fabric, but after wearing these I’m wondering how I ever wore anything else! Fit, comfort and style are all getting 5 stars.
I received these boxer briefs in return for providing an objective, unbiased review. I have worn these boxer briefs several times under different conditions and activities. They have been washed and dried so I have experienced the effects of several washes.
My first impression was that they felt great against my body–light and almost like they weren’t on. I wore these during my yoga practice and noticed that the waistband did not fold over and the brief allowed for ease and comfort throughout my practice.
Most of all I was very impressed with the pouch which provided support while keeping me in place. Nothing distracts me more than having my male parts shift from side to side and with these boxer briefs it never happened and once again allowed for unrestricted movement.
The next activity experience was while hiking which exhibited the same qualities as with yoga but also added support for thighs and demonstrated the ability to wick. After a 10 mile hike I noticed the covered areas were not wet and wicked through to my hiking pants—no rash due to trapped moisture–a big plus.
Obviously A00-1K PrimeMan AnatoMAX 3 Inch Boxer Brief Midnight XL Premium boxer brief designed with an anatomical pouch for the utmost comfort. Enjoy a smooth, lightweight fit with added stretch for freedom of movement.
Made of knit micro modal and Lycra spandex. Ultra-soft, anti-roll, exposed elastic waistband with Obviously logo at front left. AnatoMAX pouch maintains a natural position and feel to prevent chafing and re-adjusting.
Pouch has a smooth contour seam at its base and a supportive design. Ultra-lightweight fabric reduces heat build-up. 4-way stretch for a flexible fit. Low rise. Rear is seamless. Tagless for comfort.
I really want to like this pair of underwear. The material is wonderful. The pouch is very annoying. It is way too big and offers poor support. I don’t like how looks either. Currently I pull the under up much higher on my waist that the design is intended for and then roll the waist band down.
This fixes the support, kind of, but it is still not great. It also stops being a brief and full coverage back is actually a cheeky fit, which is okay but again not what the garment was intended for.
After years of underwear fanaticism, I’ve finally got my hands on an Obviously pair. How does it stack up? Fit’s great, with lots of room in the pouch to breathe and sway as I please. I really like that in underwear–the profile-boosting freeballing pouch that you see in a lot of Cocksox and Andrew Christian designs especially.
There’s less cover in the back than expected, which is actually a big plus for me! Super satisfied.
Fun briefs style! This is a fun alternative to their regular briefs, and feels almost like wearing a jockstrap but with the coverage in the back. I love this style and will definitely be buying more.
I’ve tried many pouch brands and have found Obviously is the best. Superior comfort, quality and durability. You forget you’re wearing them even after a long day at work. This material is super soft and comfortable.
The pouch is a bit roomier than the Free Man style, so great if you need more space.
The original Turq, our Freestyle Fit was engineered for those who live an active lifestyle. Made for movement and styled for comfort, the Freestyle Fit includes essential features for high-performing men.
Quick-drying fabric makes it possible to go from wet to dry in minutes, all-day odor control means you won’t have to worry about offensive nether regions, and a roomy front pocket works to keep you comfortable and safe from chafe all day long.
Set your day up for success with our ultra-supportive signature style, the Freestyle Fit.
I bought my nephew his first pair of these underwear about 3 years ago when he was 13. He literally wears that same pair to this day. He has definitely gotten taller and heavier but these underwear, a little short but had grown with him.
He said that it was his favorite of all others that he owns which are of the same style. His comments are that they are so supportive, comfortable and soft and he loves the colors and cool waistband.
Needless to say when I found this out I bought him 4 more for his birthday. He is forever a fan!.
I was excited when I read the review and immediately bought two pair in advance of our family’s beach vacation. Unfortunately when I tried them on they were incredibly tight, to the point of being unwearable.
I double checked the size (I am a 35-36) and the large size says it will fit 36-38. No way is someone that is a 38 going to be able to wear these and not lose circulation to key body parts. They are so tight, in fact, that a person in good shape is going to have an instant muffin top.
Not the look that most people are trying to achieve. Perhaps the shorts were mislabeled or this batch came in small, but unfortunately these are unusable. In general, however, the shorts seem to be well made with nice material and looks.
I purchased a couple of pairs of these briefs for my husband. He really suffers from chafing when playing golf or during target practice. I took a chance and got these even though they were advertised more for water sports.
He LOVES them. He said they really do virtually eliminate the sweating the resulting chafing. His only complaint is that they could come in a few larger sizes for the mature types. Not everyone who buys these will look like the models! We’ll be purchasing more.
The BN3TH Men’s Infinite XT2 Solid Boxer Brief are the best of the best! It combines the revolutionary comfort and softness of Modal Classics with the moisture wicking properties of Polyester. Permanent XT2 Technology kills odor and won’t wash out.
Supportive MyPakage Pouch Technology keeps your boys comfortable. It feels like Sunday, but grinds like Monday.
I wanted to wait and reserve judgement until after I wore your underwear subsequent to a wash/dry cycle in the laundry since that sometimes corrects material laxity. In this case, it helped slightly but not completely.
I will try to explain. I like the material and color patterns. There’s something about the fit that isn’t right. I wear SAXX for comparison. Your underwear seems to have too much material in the pouch and the seam in the pouch allows for that.
I am 5’9″ and weigh 161lbs. Based on your website, I chose a large. The waistline and legs fit perfect. The fit of those areas seems to remain constant throughout the day. The pouch fits pretty well initially (albeit with more room than needed), by the end of the day the crotch gets looser and the support becomes less to the point that the cradle (which I think is the best feature in your underwear) falls away and the support essentially becomes much less than when I put them on in the morning.
I never have this issue with SAXX Kinetic in the same size. I even folded your waistband over once (to pull the underwear higher up which provides more support initially) and still find too much material and space in the pouch.
Now while I am not towing around 15lbs. of junk, I’m sure the average adult (like yours truly) isn’t either. From the moment I put your underwear on, there is extra space out front – the same cannot be said about the SAXX Kinetic which holds its fit and support throughout the wear.
It’s not that the SAXX Kinetic is perfect either – I find that their thighs ride up where yours don’t and I prefer BN3TH in that regard. That’s too bad because I thought the BN3TH underwear had great potential to be an alternative to what I consider your only competition.
I may try a medium just to make sure that is isn’t simply an incorrect size issue. I hope that I have explained things understandably and I sincerely appreciate you reaching out.
Boxer briefs in rotation: – SAXX Quest 2. 0 – Under Armour Boxerjock – Under Armour Boxerjock Mesh – BN3TH Pro Boxer Brief – ExOfficio Give-N-Go From my perspective, I’ll say these are in a similar class to the SAXX, which are currently my preferred pair of the ones I listed.
However, I do have a few gripes with these: – No fly. Obviously I knew this before I made the purchase, but it’s a lot more of a nuisance than I expected it to be. – (Hanging?) Loop. There’s what looks to be a hanging loop on the band.
If you’re planning to lounge around in these, the corners/edges of the loops are a little sharp. Not to the point where they’ll scrape/cut you, but it’s just a slight annoyance. I’ve never used this loop.
– Price. At $40/each, these are marginally more expensive than the Quest 2. 0, but I’d rather have those. Pros: – Similarly breathable and comfortable as the Quest 2. 0. The original UA Boxerjocks are the most comfortable of the bunch, but they’re also less breathable and don’t have a dedicated pouch.
– Don’t ride up as much as the Quest 2. 0 – Pouch works similarly to the Quest 2. 0. I’d like to see the pouch enlarged and more separated on both of these, but they’re both better than the other entries I’ve mentioned.
Conclusion: Similar offering to SAXX Quest 2. 0 in my personal experience. The major decision criteria I would use is whether you want/need a fly and the price at time of purchase. If they were identically priced, I’d likely choose the Quest 2.
Well, it finally happened: after several years of regular daily use, almost the very last of my ‘MyPakage’ boxers finally had to be retired to the wastebin. Thankfully I still have a few Icefils left without holes and intact waistbands, and they still can’t be beat for busy travel on-the-go, but I was starting to wonder what I would try next when I finally wore these last few ones out.
I was concerned that with a name change to the brand, and the inevitable expected ‘cheap-out’ of quality reduction that many modern companies push-out these days, that the new Bn3th models would be substandard quality with a likely awful, scratchy feel to them, compared to the older MyPakage styles.
Thankfully I was completely wrong in this assumption. I ordered 5 new pairs of the Classic Boxer briefs, so as not to fully wear out the last of my Icefils, and was very pleasantly surprised that these new boxers were even more comfortable and flexible than many of my older MyPakage styles, such as Pro, Everyday, and Sport.
I just wish I had ordered these new models sooner–the sheer comfort and breathability is definitely worth it, and they are actually lighter, and thus cooler. If you’re like me and really appreciated the men’s underwear revolution that was MyPakage years ago, you’re going to love the new Bn3th quality and feel even more!.
A boxer brief so comfortable, you won’t want to take it off. Luxuriously soft Tencel Modal feels fantastic next to skin, and a hint of spandex lets the brief move with you. Using MyPakage technology, the 3-D pouch cradles you from every angle, and a pucker panel eliminates seams in sensitive areas to prevent chafing or discomfort.
Super-soft Tencel Modal and spandex fabric is breathable and smooth for all-day comfort. MyPakage technology 3-dimensional pouch provides excellent support. Pucker panel ensures your sensitive areas stay comfortable.
Premium waistband is sewn directly to the body for long-lasting durability.
I found BN3TH when I was looking for replacement underwear for the boxers that I have worn for 30+ years. I wanted something with some support for my berries and tried a few different brands. The BN3TH brand classics were the most comfortable out of all the brands I tried.
I like that not only do they have the “My Package” pouch for support but they add extra space for everything to sit in and not smash everything together like other brands do. If I wanted to be crushed and have to constantly adjust things I would just wear regular boxer briefs.
The BN3TH brand are very comfortable and everything fits great without having to constantly adjust for all day wear. I highly recommend them, I wear a 34 waist short/pants and in these I wear the smalls and they fit great.
The mediums that I tried first tended to ride up a bit on the leg but we’re definitely comfortable fitting. The smalls cover all the bases and are my new go to for comfort and support.
I bought these (and four others-same brand, just different colors) for my husband and HE FELL IN LOVE! He goes on and on about how much of a difference he notices wearing these for work vs. his Hanes ones he used to wear.
He’s a traveling electrician, and works very long hours (12+ hour shifts) in very hot weather. so for him to love these as much as he does speaks for itself! We highly recommend these wonderful briefs, this incredible brand, and Moosejaw in general! They are so fair with their prices and it was such relief to find these for a reasonable price.
Our local store sells them for $15+ more per pair, so I appreciate the honesty and although I do not care for leaving reviews. I will always leave one for an honest company who deserves it. Quality products and affordable prices.
Don’t hesitate. just buy them. You will not regret it, I promise. I bought my husband an XL and they fit true to size. He’s a 36 or 38 in jeans, and he’s about 5,11 or so! Hope this helps!.
The 360 Stretch collection does just that. Our 360 Stretch Cooling Channels program has specially engineered fabric with cooling channels and stretch for all day comfort and ventilation. Plus, it has a cooling waistband for added comfort and it includes an ergonomic top-side fly for ease of use and added support.
Our 360 Stretch Cooling Channels Boxer Brief focuses on comfort, quality, and being made to last.
Ok, but not as good as the Micro-stretch sold in Wal Marts a year and a half ago. The ones a year and a half ago had a smaller waist band and the material was softer which made it perfect. This version material is thicker and I don’t like it.
The ones a year and a half ago would have also made a good undershirt because Under Armour are too thick and hot in the summer months. I would say bring back the micro stretch from a year ago with a better waistband and make some undershirt versions of it.
It was the perfect material. I prefer that material than all of my Under Armour and bean throwing away all of my Under Armour. My GF also like the material I’m surprised you don’t have it anymore. Please inform me if you do bring it back.
I am normally a medium when wearing boxer briefs but for some reason I bought large this time thinking the extra room may be more comfortable. Well folks guess what. my large actually felt smaller than the medium.
I am unable to wear these since they are too tight. If they were an actual large, then I would love these as they are nice looking. I personally didn’t want to deal with trying to return these so no, I never contact FOTL for a return/exchange.
These are far and away my favorite boxers ever. They’re extremely sturdy with nice thick material. The material is also moisture wicking, so even with sturdy material you stay dry. They feel very high quality.
I have been saying for a couple of years that I wish 32 Degrees would come out with boxer shorts. Not every man wants boxer briefs. When I saw they finally started selling them, I jumped at the chance to buy them, along with more products for my wife and I.
However, when I got them, I was disappointed. Instead of their fantastic moisture wicking, anti – fungal/odor/you name it material, they were just plain cotton. Thus, they are like any other boxers on the market.
There’s no difference. I have been wearing Hanes X Temp boxers for years, and have had troubles finding them lately (presumably due to the boxer brief popularity that I don’t understand). 32 Degrees has the ability to go after this market and crush it.
However, they took the safe route. Yes, they do fit as expected. Yes, I could wear them on cold days of the year. Yet, living in Texas, we need every way imaginable to keep from sweating when it gets hot.
Since we’re getting into that season, these boxers will go into the drawer until December.
Cooling, moisture wicking fabric and waistband keep you cool and dry for all day comfort. No ride up fit – designed to stay in place when you move. Smooth, flat seams prevent chafing and provide ultimate comfort.
I really liked the Champion knit boxers I bought in the past, with the lighter colored waistband. I bought a 3 pack in gray and black colors, then later a 3 pack in three shades of blue. They fit well and had a snug but comfortable waist band.
But more recently I bought a 3 pack with the black waist band that I thought were the same. But something changed. The waistband is still good but they don’t fit the same. I think the crotch is shorter and the “legs” are shorter.
They are not comfortable anymore, I have to keep tugging at them because they just don’t feel right. Once they were washed they were even worse. But I guess the good news is it made me consider alternatives.
I discovered Hanes knit boxers. They fit like the Champions I used to like. So it’s a shame you “fixed” a product that wasn’t broke, but helpful to me to find another product that I like just as much to replace it.
I have worn briefs my entire adult life, So when given the opportunity to try these lightweight boxer/briefs I decided to give them a try. I have been converted to a boxer/brief wearer. They are comfortable and lightweight.
They wash well and are perfect for the upcoming summer heat. They are made from 92% polyester and 8% spandex. I have a 36 inch waist so I ordered size large. Perfect fit. Well done Champion. I will be ordering more and will retire the briefs!.
I received free product from Champion. These boxer briefs are made with a soft breathable material that have a really nice comfortable feel. Great choice for active daily, basketball shorts, lifestyle.
Typically wear size medium and found these, size medium, to fit true to size. Usually wear boxer briefs with longer length in the legs but these are slightly shorter and will take some getting use to.
Pleased with the quality. It’s a product reccomended worth trying.
Introducing separation underwear that wraps around and under your anatomy with no extra walls or chambers. The Jockey Chafe Proof Pouch Microfiber Boxer Brief is the ultimate solution to groin sweat, chafing and those annoying, awkward adjustments caused from shifting.
The ergonomically engineered, mesh-lined and vented pouch keeps everything comfortably separated and supported for improved airflow and enhanced moisture wicking. Bend, stretch, run or sit while everything stays in place with next-to-zero adjustments.
These “Ultimate Freedom” boxer briefs are a rebranding of an older discontinued favorite style (the “On-The-Go Mesh”) of boxer briefs. I am so glad they are back and even better than before (4 new colors!).
These briefs offer a unique feature that is now very wisely being prominently promoted–a roomy/loose pouch area that gives (at best) only “mild” male anatomy support. The other features (StayCool+, Odor Control, Tech Mesh Stretch) combine with the pouch design to make these a very flexible and comfortable style of boxer brief for certain men.
I have owned and loved similar “On-The-Go Mesh” branded briefs for all these reasons, so I was saddened by their withdrawal about two years ago. Back then, they only came in white (very comfortable but less fashionable).
Now, there are four vibrantly-colored variants! That all said, I’m so glad the main reason to wear these is now being openly marketed with multiple phrases (“All About the Pouch”, “Free Fit Pouch”, “Ultimate Freedom”).
I applaud these efforts to promote this style to a specific audience (and hence to sell more and keep them available). That audience is those men who want/need plenty of room for/around their anatomy while still providing a relatively-tight conforming grip around the seat and thighs.
I will add that, ironically, this style offers most of what another now-discontinued style offered, i. e. , free-hanging pouch room plus no bunching up of the legs. That other style was called the “No-Bunch Boxers” that was discontinued in late 2019 (I dearly hope that they come back before the large supply I bought when I learned they were be discontinued is exhausted).
However, the return and rebranding of this “Ultimate Freedome” style offers a great alternative for men who have more heft in their anatomy or who want/like the free-hanging feeling that a boxer gives but without the awkward “bunching up” that happens with old-fashioned boxer styles.
I’ve given all this detailed information here to help people decide if this style gives them what they need/want in this now properly-marketed style. I hope my thoughts are helpful to someone.
If you like full cut boxers, these are for you. These Microfiber boxers are full rise and long in length for maximum coverage. In my opinion they would be best used for sleeping, lounging around the house, or casual daily activities.
They are marketed as an “Active” boxer however due to sheer amount of fabric these boxers will bunch up during a workout, not to mention things will be swinging around (lol). The fabric is soft, it stretches, and is absorbs moisture like a dream.
I’m Giving these 4 out of 5 stars because I found them to be rather large. I wear a size small and found these boxers to ride up my waist and the waist band liked to roll down on me. I’m 5’9 and the legs of these boxers came to my lower thigh just above the knee.
That’s just way too much coverage for my personal taste. If these boxers had a shorter more fitted cut, I could see myself using these daily. For now I’ll keep using them for sleeping and lounging.
After wearing these boxers for a couple of times my conclusion is this. Not for me, I like my underwear to be tight around my legs but with enough space for the “boys”. If you like loose fitting boxers that provide the breathability and space, these are for you.
Don’t get me wrong they are comfortable enough to be lounging around the house but if you decided to take a jog or go for a long walk the can rise up and bunch up in the wrong places. At least for me because I am a big boy, I rather wear something with more chaffing protecting.
The stitching on the back was also a problem for me, the more I walk the more I felt the boxer trying to slide in between my butt cheeks. lol, sorry I know, TMI but I am just being honest. I would say this is a perfect lay around the house boxer.

I’m normally more of a briefs guy, but I like having a few pairs of boxer briefs on hand for when I’m going to be doing a lot of physical activity, to avoid chafing. These boxer briefs are really great for that purpose! They’re made out of a nice light microfiber that stretches well and wicks moisture, and the legs are a little longer than average for boxer briefs – both of which make them really comfortable for sports.
They also feature a no-chafe pouch that works quite nicely. Pouch underwear is a bit gimmicky these days, and I’ve found many of them don’t really work all that well since guys come in all different sizes – but the pouch design on this one is less about trying to keep things inside the pouch, and more about having the pouch there to accommodate your anatomy.
Visually, they’re nothing too special – the design and color schemes are pretty standard fare for athletic men’s underwear – but at the same time, you won’t be embarrassed to be seen in them, for sure! These (like many Jockey products) run a little large, so you may want to consider ordering down a size to get a good snug athletic fit.
I tried the No Chafe Boxers in both a leisure setting as well as active. I found that these are best suited for working out or other activities that you truly want to keep things secure. Whether it be working in the yard or actively working out on the treadmill these were both comfortable and functional.
They didn’t chafe as advertised and wicked away sweat nicely while also remaining comfortable throughout the time being worn. They were also excellent under a bathing suit as they didn’t retain water and dried out quickly.
This is not my go to for casual wear just lounging around the house or working from a desk in an office. There are far more comfortable options in that regards though that’s not to say they were unpleasant.
They were crafted with care and appear to be of study construction. After several washes they show no signs of wear. They also fit true to size.
I generally wear silk boxers/boxer briefs for everyday wear. However, they are not good for working out at the gym or sports activities. These boxer briefs are excellent for that purpose! They provide the proper amount of support for my front parts while still allowing for some freedom of movement and breathability during my workouts or sports activities.
One thing I noticed about these boxer briefs is that they were superior in terms of moisture control from my workouts than either my silk or cotton underwear I have. The material feel is somewhere in between the smoothness of silk and the softness of cotton, yet without the itchiness of cotton and the too-slippery feel of silk.
I highly recommend these for workouts or athletic activities! They would work great for everyday wear as well.
JustWears’ very own MicroModal Air fabric fibres are derived from sustainably grown, renewable European wood sources. Organic microfibres last longer than cotton, are CO2-neutral, bio-degradable and feel softer than silk.
The MicroModal Air fabric is 50% more absorbent and breathable than cotton, drying is quicker and everything is kept pleasantly cool all day. These natural super fibres are anti-bacterial, helping to prevent body odour as well.
In the pack are 2 men’s pants, one in the JustWears Active style and one in the JustWears Pro style. The Active is designed with a signature pouch (keeping banana and plums separate) whilst the Pro comes without the pouch.
The underwear is designed to keep everything well ventilated and sweat-free. The ergonomic design prevents riding up as well. It’s recommended to machine-wash JustWears at 30 degrees / with cold water for great results.
To go the extra mile, they’ll last even longer when hand washed.
I’ve been wearing Just Wears for about 10 months now and I won’t wear anything else ever again. I have really skinny legs, and most underwear stretches while you’re wearing it and then everything moves about after half a day and you’re readjusting yourself.
Move in Just Wears, where not a single adjustment for your comfort is needed all day! Fit stays tight to my legs, and the active pouch took only a day to get used to and now anything else makes you feels squished and awkward.
The pouch is also designed so that if you don’t fill the whole thing to the bottom (if you know what I mean), you don’t have any flabby material underneath your bits, so it still looks as if you have filled it out.
After ten months, the fit is still great, material duarability excellent. The mesh material that’s over your balls has faded a little bit with washing, but the main body of the trunk is great. No pilling on the waistband too.
Overall, these are now my go to and when I can afford the next lot, they will be worth every penny. Ignore any other pouch designs (or any other underwear in general), and treat yourself to some Just Wears.
Bought for my partner to try a new style of boxer. He is hard on his clothes, including boxers as he is outside and moving all day at work and is otherwise active so comfy, well fitting underwear is a must.
He much prefers the JW boxers to any others he has. The material is lovely, it doesnt bunch up under any clothing plus he says they are cooler and stop things getting stuck together down there! The only thing he would prefer is a slightly softer and wider waistband but he has already requested more JW boxers.
I am really pleased as they are good value and comparatively priced to his usual ones, plus they are packaged in recylable boxes rather than plastic. The box they come in is fun and posted easily theough the letterbox meaning no nedd for trips to the post office to collect a parcel as we werent in.
Postage was really quick. We would love more colours and patterns in future as I know we will quickly purchase more. The sizing is really generous, I was worried that the XL wouldnt fit as he is usually in a 2XL but they fit well and I am glad a brand still near startup is catering for a wide range of fits right from the start.
I will also be buhing some for my pre teen son as well.
I mistakenly bought the new Limited Edition Duo Pack as I liked the new colours with matching waistband. I hadn’t spotted that you get one of each kind. Namely a pouch and a non-pouch pair. I have been using the non-pouch boxer shorts for several years and love them.
But the pouch is uncomfortable and lacks the snug support of the non-pouch style. The pouch opening creates a slight rib inside the underwear which you can feel. You therefore find yourself forever adjusting yourself to avoid getting yourself caught in the opening.
And the opening at the bottom is also very strange. If you did try using the pouch section you find yourself feeling somewhat naked as your manhood falls into the opening. Very weird! I’d stay away from the pouch style and stick to the non-pouch version which is very comfortable and gives enough support.
And I wish the website made it clearer that you get one of each.

I am a big fan of 2undr underwear and thought I would try and order some for my son who is 10 years old. I didn’t know if I would pick the XS or the Small size for him, but decided to pick the small size.
I was disappointed to learn that the underwear doesn’t fit my son well. I wrote to the company and they responded by saying in part: “We currently don’t make 2UNDR for children , but our XS and Small does fit some kids around the ages of 10+.
” They also said the following: “The design of 2UNDR with the Joey Pouch is intended for men , who are looking for a product that helps eliminate skin on skin contact between their most valuable assets and their legs , the idea is to lift and separate.
Majority of adolescents don’t have a need for a pouch style underwear , but some do , so we do have some of our styles in XS , but with the average waist size running roughly a size small now in North America , majority of our styles run S-5XL.
” I would want to try the XS for my son, but I feel that he would grow out of it. In the end, I decided that 2undr is truly a men’s underwear and not meant for kids. If you are shopping for kids, pick something else.
If you are shopping for adult men, I fully recommend 2undr.
First I will say that I have several of the swing shift pairs from 2undr, sized Medium and they are perfect! Quickly bought more since they became my favorite daily go-to’s. I soon after tried these, although a bit hesitant because of the cost.
I have tried MANY athletic underwear (adidas, UA, etc. ), but none of the others got the ‘package’ right, thus I was so incredibly hopeful for 2undr’s power shift. Bought the medium. What I loved: fabric, swass panel, ‘package construction’, waistband quality.
What I found less than desireable: the overall fit around the top. What I mean is that everything else fits well but it seems like there is an extra inch of fabric. If the waist band simply was placed lower then this underwear would be a 5 star.
I say this because once I tucked that amount of fabric under my waist band and brought it down to where all other athletic underwear sits (and where the medium swing shift sits), it was perfect (although it doesn’t stay once you move, of course).
All other athletic underwear does not come up this high. Disclaimer: I am a very athletic fit, triatholon-style body (5’11” 155lbs). Maybe I should size down to a small? But the item descriptions report this is compression but I can’t say I feel a whole lot of compression.
But the fit does seem good aside from the top, plus I’m definitely a medium in the swing shift. Again, maybe this issue would be solved with sizing down for very athletic fits, but I’m hesitant to try that for the price point and I like the “package” room.
Maybe this would be a negligent issue for someone else, but I really want to love these because everything else is perfect! Overall 2undr really does a great job with their products.
I thought I would try pouch underwear, as that seems to be the latest trend and I was already wearing boxer briefs and looking for something better. Got these after a look at the various brands of pouch underwear and their customer reviews.
2UNDR had a lot of positive reviews, the Swing Shift Boxer Briefs had a fly as well as a soft fabric, so I got some to try out. They take some time to get used to and how they feel compared to non-pouch underwear.
They do provide good support and ventilation, so there’s no need for adjustments throughout the day. The model fabric is very comfortable and they run true to size. We wash them on delicate and dry on low heat, so we’ll see how the fabric lasts over time.
Overall I would say that if you’re looking for more comfortable underwear that feels good and is never a distraction to your day, give these a try.

These underwear felt amazing upon opening them for the hubs. Since I was not wearing them I had to gain my insights from him. We are a Hanes family and have always used and enjoyed their products. He said they were super lightweight and felt cool and comfortable in our 95+ degree heat.
He would have given them 5 stars but said the waistband rolls some and were not a flat as the others he owns. So far they have washed well and retained color after a few washings. Overall some great boxers and will consider purchasing more when the time comes.
I received three tagless boxer briefs from Hanes. I got them free as part of a market evaluation program. These briefs were 2XB size Comfort Flex Fit. They fit very well. The length is just right (not too short so they do not crimp up).
The fabric is very comfortable. The waist band is wide enough so it does not fold over on itself (this feature is very important). I would buy them from a store. It is hard to try on underwear in stores, so this sampling worked well for me.

I’ll start by saying I adore the T-shirts. Everything from the designs to the material are far superior to most other graphic t’s out there. So I figured the underwear would be a hit as well. Unfortunately, they are not what I expected.
The material is soft, but the underwear roll up on you. Also, why is there no opening in the front? The price isn’t too bad, but maybe my expectations were too high.
I mistakenly ordered the everyday wear boxers, instead if the ones with pockets. So instead of going through the hassle of returning them I tried them out. The the size I regularly buy for my size fit.
They are comfortable, but I would take caution when buying boxers from this website. I gave a 4 star rating for this product. My complaint is more about the website than the product itself.
I bought a pair of their boxers about a year ago and loved them. My only issue was the waist was more relaxed than I was used to. These new ones solve that problem and fit me perfectly! Super breathable and the fabric is just as soft as my first pair! I plan to purchase their “bundle” next!.
Men that want underwear with a cottony-like feel, that prevents chafing, rubbing, sagging, and sweating, wear 4th Gen UFM REG Support Trunks made with Bamboo and Spandex. Every pair of UFM Men’s Underwear has a US patented and Intl patents pending adjustable pouch that isolates, supports, and lifts.
The lightweight fabrics wick sweat and dry quickly. The soft, breathable pouch gently adjusts to each man’s desired level of comfort and support. Tie the drawstrings tight for extra support or light.
The selection of my order was based on the information given by the UFM representative over the phone. The medical reasons for selecting UFM were given consideration. Notsure that the size I ordered is correct but I can wear them.
The feel is great and the support concept seems valid. Several problems have been troublesome. The support area is a little small and will not contain all of everything. The drawstring is uncomfortable when made tight to provide support.
Could it be wider or flat at the bottom? The fly access is not easy to accomplish. Could it be more to the front? The waist band is wide and comfortable and doesn’t roll over. My legs are thin so the elastic on the leg openings won’t keep them from bunching up which is really annoying.
I thing another style and or size might help. Still thinking max support type might be needed because of medical condition.
The UFM Generation 4 trunks are great. I purchased them with plans to use them primarily for travel. I thought the adjustable pouch would be comfortable for extended periods of walking and the isolation provided by the pouch eliminate the need “rearrange the furniture†when spending hours on the plane.
They are so comfortable I will be getting more to wear on a daily basis at home. I have also used them at the gym instead of a jock and am pleased with the support and comfort. I do appreciate that they enhance the masculine profile.
They do require some practice to get to get the most comfort from them. You need to make sure that the scrotum is placed completely within the pouch and the penis pointing towards the fly before tightening the drawstring.
I am still experimenting with how tight to pull the drawstring to adjust the support to be most comfortable. When I purchase more, I will probably try Gen 3. 1 to see if a slightly larger pouch is more comfortable.
Customer service is great. I have chatted with the representative on line, he has always been willing to take the time to answer questions and explain the different styles: fabric for Gen 3 is different than the others; there are 4 different pouch sizes available and two different drawstring positions.
In a video on the website it is suggested that you can place a protector cup inside the pouch when that is needed. Although the cup is held in position, I did not find that comfortable because of the direct contact of the plastic of the cup with the genitals.
I would also like to see a “dual pouch†style which would give some separation of the scrotum and penis.
growing up i was taught to hate tight underwear. just the same as most other guys i wore loose boxers for most of my life – up until i discovered how comfortable briefs are. briefs offer support for the boys that just feel outstanding.
in my search for the most comforable, supportive briefs i discovered UFM briefs with an adjustable drawstring. these are next level! its like sitting my package in a cloud of support! keeps me chafe free, dry and, most importantly, odor free throughout the whole day! ive ordered 8 pairs of UFM so far and i can see me ordering more once the new designs are released.
my only suggestion is to make MAX support availible in brief form, the extra room would be great.

I received 10 pairs of these recently. In order to remove the tag and packaging I damaged two of them. The tag is extremely big and it makes no sense why in the world they would sew a massive tag into an item that directly contacts the body.
This ABSOLUTELY takes the premium product feel out of this item. When I have bought boxers from the company with a dead bird logo they sew in a little piece of fabric between the tag and the boxer to make it easy to remove.
That is a premium product. This is not. Of the 10 I received, half of them had a different packaging style that included four separate plastic tags into the boxer. I ended up with holes in two of the boxers while trying to remove these.
In total I spent 30 minutes removing tags on 10 pairs of boxers and damaged two in the process. With the complaining done, I would like to say that I do find these to be very comfortable and lightweight.
I have been exclusively wearing Ex-Officio Give-N-Go boxer briefs for about 10 years. I discovered them while looking for something i could sink wash on a mountaineering trip and ended up replacing all of my boxers with them.
As my first pairs are starting to wear out (seriously, after 10 years of daily wear), I’m trying to diversify and find some good alternatives. So far, these “Essential” boxer briefs have been super comfortable in fabric and fit, but I am not sure what the longevity will be.
The waistband is about what I expect for size M, and the fabric is very soft and comfortable, so i have high hopes, although I doubt anything this soft can outlast the Give-N-Gos, and I don’t yet know whether they do as well (or better) with odor control and breathability.
I don’t think these will be what i grab when I’m heading for the trail, but they definitely work for casual use.
I felt obliged to write a review after seeing so many negative ones. To everyone complaining about these being flimsy hiking underwear—that is not their intended purpose. They are for casual/everyday use (which is clear on the manufacturer’s website but less so on REI’s), and after a year of wearing them I can say the excel in that role.
First, they’re made from a sustainable, non-synthetic fabric; that’s important to me when it comes to my non-technical garments, because I’m trying to keep microplastics out of the ocean, ya dig? Second, these boys are stylin’.
I wear them when I want to feel like a sexy lil’ muffin. I wear them on special nights, magical nights when I might be expecting a friendly guest. Third, they have good odor resistance, which I know because I often unintentionally wear them for multiple days in a row since.
Fourth, they are mind-warpingly COMFORTABLE. My god it feels like having a dozen cherubs whispering sweet nothings to my thunder thighs all. day. long. It feels smoother than a perfectly matured Islay single-malt scotch.
It feels silkier than a buttered up slip ‘n’ slide on a hot Joo-lie afternoon. These boxers are superb. If you want to go a hikin’ and a runnin’, buy yourself a pair of Saxx Kinetic boxers. If you can’t afford that, get the ExOfficios Give-N-Goes.
But if you want to live like the royalty you are, buy these.
TRADIE No Chafe Quick Dry undies have been designed to keep you comfortable all day long. The Quick Dry fabric is polyester made from recycled plastic so you’re doing your bit for the planet. The No Chafe inner leg panels ensure no more chafing EVER again.
Our unique no bounce comfort pouch has a generous fly opening so you can FREE WILLY whenever required whilst the mid length design ensures no ride up undies. Give them a try – you’ll love them.
Great fit and comfortable with the open fly pouch. I bought three pairs of them. Unfortunately, one pair already have a hole due to an unfortunate zipper malfunction. Basically, the zip caught onto the front layer of the pouch, blew off a tooth each side of the zipper and was left holding onto my parcel like an angry pitbull.
I have a debt of gratitude to Tradie for making the Midi Trunks with the double layer fly system and durable fabric. Generations will be thankful! P. S. the hole was mostly caused removing the zip, luckily only from the Midi Trunks.
Decided to try this, longer leg version, as unable to get the Rivet in long leg. Some of the fabric in this doesn’t feel comfortable. Particularly the fabric over the appendage area – its thicker and rubs, not nice to wear for work purposes.
The rest of the fabric – legs etc is ok. Therefore limiting wearing of these for weekend wear.

I love these performance boxer, breathable and soft! They are comfortable and they feel great! I have gone commando for 10 years until I tried old navy performance boxers. now I hooked. bought 17 pair after my first purchase! Whether I am in a suit or swimsuit they are the best boxer I have ever owned! Cheers old navy! Keep the quality and different colors coming! Customer for life!.
I bought some of these years ago and wanted more. To my delight the newer style is even better with a sort of mesh area around the bottom where your junk might need an extra breath now and then. Love them, just wish I could get more pairs in other colors.
There are a few different types of underwear that can help prevent chafing for men. Boxer briefs are a good option because they provide support and coverage without being too tight. Trunks are another option that can offer a little more room to move.
Boxers are the most traditional option and can be a good choice if you don’t want anything too snug. Whatever style you choose, make sure the underwear is made from a breathable fabric like cotton to help prevent sweat and irritation.
