excellent cd’s. a wonderful addition to my collection. I love the music of this generation and the 70’s were always my absolute favorite music era. I highly recommend this 3 cd collection to anyone who likes this music.

Great price. Good songs from this era that have a really good sound quality.

Wish I could recommend it higher. Bought it with some bonus cash that Best Buy granted me for my points. Some good songs. Cool artwork. But some weird stuff and some lame tracks too. Oh well, not like soundtracks are usually lifechanging on vinyl.

Was between this and guardians of the galaxy. Thought I would mix it up a bit.

Love this vinyl. I haven’t experienced any skipping, pops, cracks, etc. Overall both records that came in the vinyl package sound pretty good and I got everything that was included in the package. Definitely recommend this to a friend/STfan/Vinyl lover.

My daughter is a big ST fan, and as someone who grew up in the 80’s, this really hits the spot for both of us. Great collection of (mainly) new wave pop songs. Snippets of dialogue pop up throughout it, making it a fun mixtape of sorts.

A fun way to revisit these tunes, and makes a good case for another generation to enjoy them as well.

This is 20 of the best songs of the 60’s. I was a little kid and wanted NOT to be listening to the Other popular band from England. I found this group and purchased and played it until you could see the other side of the music grooves.

I watched the show, had the stocking hat and made a drum-set out of cardboard boxes. I now have a real drum-set in my living room at 60. Better late than never. You never lose the beat. The story of a made for TV band that reinvented itself and became un-fake.

The melding of big business, television, a forward-thinking rascal for a manager and the rest is a Pleasant Valley listening fun-day. Strawberry picking, loud fast, REAL cars, stripped pants and ruffle shirts you could buy out of the Sears or Wards catalog as school clothes.

Try and Not sing along.

Its an odd collection; it feels like it wants to be an ultimate singles collection but totally overlooks singles from instant replay and changes but has their reunion singles – except one. It feels more like Mickys greatest hits.

Even davy is on only a handful, mike 2, peter 1. What it does prove is how powerful and woefully underrated micky is as the timeless voice of a generation. Its a rhino collection so you know its gonna sound great.

Again, good for the monkee newbie but there are better collections out there before and after the release of this one.

I’m 61 years old now but some of their hits would occasionally play in my music oriented mind. So, I got it. What took me so long? From a child and a transister radio to an adult with a good stereo system is quite a music memory experience.

These guys did a good job in the studio. They have some very good tunes. Some of these songs deserve to played on todays radio once in a while. Excellent driving tunes.

Ad sounded great. I love this era of music. But although I recognized many titles of songs in the ad, an alarming number of songs were either alternate versions or remakes. Grossly disappointed and left feeling like a chump.

Buyer beware!.

Such great value for a 5-disc CD, and it was delivered promptly – especially given the usual slow postage during Covid times. V. happy with this.

Many, many tracks were from unidentified artists. I like to be reminded of who sang what. Beyond that, too many songs that were completely unfamiliar. I’d do the research, but who cares. There are other collections available.

Listening to the rap rhymes brings back fond memories of high school days. I still remember every song and every word.

Old school. Love this CD!

we own a vintage stereo system so whenever we come across vinyl we want to listen to, we usually buy it. Best Buy has good if not great prices on vinyl and also carry “heavy” vinyl and other variants or more rare formats.

Never had an issue with any records purchased.

I am impressed with the cover art because it is printed in a raised embossed fashion, glossy, which gives it an almost 3-D effect. Anyway, this is Eagles Greatest Hits volume 2 and I would like to get volume 1 on vinyl also.

What more needs to be said, if you’re a fan you know the music is great! Eagles rock!.

While this is a good album overall, the double LP version containing Volumes 1 & 2 is preferred. Best Buy stores do not stock a large inventory of records, and mail delivery orders risk damage in shipment.

This single LP version was in stock at my local store, featuring an embossed cover.

I saw this when it came out in ’65. Three years later, I took a study tour of Germany and Austria, and when we visited Salzburg, we went to the grounds of the Von Trapp home as seen in the movie. It’s still a popular tourist attraction.

This was BY FAR my mom’s favorite movie; she could watch it over and over. It had been a number of years since I watched it, so when I saw the 50th anniversary edition, I had to buy it. Very few films can do whet Sound of Music did: it brought several tears to my eyes.

I found myself singing along with the songs. IF you want an UPLIFTING, SWEET flick, but also with some action and suspense (even though we know how it turns out), this is a GREAT WATCH!!!.

This is one of my favourite movies. As a child I would watch it every day and sing the songs all the time. It touches on a lot of good morales. It’s based in war times but nothing to scary and nothing gory.

Its a musical so most of it is filled with songs and dancing. It’s a classic movie and I definitely recommend it!.

Decided to buy it instead of renting it again. It’s a Holiday favorite and the 50th edition goes into sharing the story of Salzburg with Julie Andrews. Almost an entire extra movie/documentary about how Salzburg was put on the map and made a tourist sight by the movie.

For years RCA and Sony have been rereleasing the same old list of ‘greatest hits’ from Elvis and this just leads to complacency and the belief that Elvis really only had about 15-20 decent songs in his whole career.

Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS movie soundtrack gives us variety and some different versions of Elvis’ well known songs and… it’s about time!.

i really liked how this album made me like the movie a lot more. it made me like the movie a lot more because i could listen to each song individually then go back to the movie and realize how similar each song is to the actual preformances.

Yet another guy who can sing like Elvis but can also act. This takes a bit of listening to but gets through in the end as I did not realise that is was other artists as well as Austin.

I am happy to have purchased this CD. The music takes me back to my childhood, when I would anxiously wait to see the specials during the holiday season. What joy to be able to listen to this music any time during Christmas! It is great for parties too!.

This says Christmas! When you hear this without seeing the Peanuts characters, it just sent shivers through me!

We have had this soundtrack before but on cassette. It had worn out after 25 years of playing during Christmas week. The cd provides even more music from the classic show A Charlie Brown Christmas. The music is PERFECT for background themes during Christmas breakfast, opening present, an evening gathering for friends, etc.

This vinyl May look good but the cover is good but the disc is the main problem. When I got it the disc was scratched and I was unhappy. It was looping on “The Seeker”. If you want to get this, change your mind.

The disc is scratched so don’t get this and get another vinyl.

I don’t understand why they would release an album that cuts the songs up to shorten the playing time. The songs were made to be played the way that they were made.

Excellent recording. Sounds great on my stereo. No skips or pops at all and beautiful to spin. Would recommend it highly.

I love the Awesome Mix from the Guardians of the Galaxy and now I’m able to rock out to the same music in the same format as in the movie. The tape and case have labels that look aged and give them the look like they are from the 80’s.

I also have the Awesome Mix on lp, but it feels more authentic listening to it on cassette. It comes with a code for the digital download of all the songs so you can listen to them on a phone or MP3 when there isn’t a Walkman around.

I got it in the mail today and my only gripe is not being able to enter the code to access the digital version of the soundtrack, due to the small print on the sticker. No worries though, as the soundtrack would be played on occasion.

Bonus points that it’s a legitimate cassette tape and in a classic “mixtape” format that has the nostalgic feels for those who made mixtapes growing up. Can’t wait to listen to it myself and jam out to the music.

I bought a 2006 Nissan because it was the last year they had cassette players. I am not real crazy about storing CD’s in my car. So. with that said, I love the songs on this cassette. I keep it in my car and play it all the time.

Those are the best classic songs that the whole family can enjoy on a road trips. I’d also recommend it to real old time truckers. I purchased this item for my dad for Christmas and he loves it. My dad was a trucker at one point and he loves this CD.

For once here is a collection of television themes that are, for the most, the originals. From Cheyanne to Wagon train, they are a real good nostalgia trip. Great for playing in the background. One moan, the Robin Hood Theme, by Dick James, was the commercial recording and no where near as good as the Gary Miller version from the actual TV show.

Well recommended.

These tv themes really do take you back, and I am certain to many of us that these will bring a little smile to the face as you remember with fondness some of the shows that were produced in the 1950’s/60’s.

Love the variety, brings back so many fond memories. It was especially fun listening to it with my parents who recognize more songs than I do. Only bummer is that some of the songs are not the originals, and it’s noticeable.

Some songs are slightly different versions or tweaked in some way. I wish the CD just used all the original songs instead of altering some of them.

These tv theme songs aren’t remakes these are the actual tv themes from each show cartoons, sitcoms ,afternoon adventure,& prime time dramas 65 tracks…fun to play name that tune..great for DJ’s.

Thoroughly enjoy the old TV themes. Actually, the themes have been employed to make up Games to be played with friends and for a Drop-in Group at our church which meets weekly. A fun set of activities as each CD has a potential for several games.

My Husband love this CD. Worth getting

The songs in the Nashville series are far better (in my opinion) then the lot we now listen in our radio chats. The singers and musicians actually have the talent to do it live contrary to all this studios help trick half talent people now making money in the music industry.

Just watch the series and I bet you will agree with me.

A nice set of 60’s stuff that doesn’t feature on the usual best of the 60’s cds. My only comment would be a few tracks are re-made versions by the original artists, eg Classical Gas, A Walk In The Black Forest and for me that’s a bit of a let down, I want the original versions of the hits as I remember them from the charts (I’m 64 by the way and work as a DJ).

So it’s a good set but could have been better.

Brilliant! Wanted this to relive the old classics that you very rarely hear, i takes me back to my sisters playing these on the Record player , i am a fan of old and new music but it is comforting during these times to take our minds back to a more stable place.

I have never been a fan of the Now series as prefer to buy the individual artist but this has got some crackers on !. my son says that it’s like hearing sounds from the Carry On Films!!!.

As it says on the cover, “Forgotten hits of the 60s”. Although I know a multitude of songs from the 60s, there were a few songs I did not know. However that did not detract from the other 98% of songs which brought back many memories.

This is why I gave it 5/5.

i am at the age to remember the band when they were in their hey day, however i cannot remember hearing some of these great tracks. The information supplied also gives an insight to the writing of the tracks which i find fascinating.

c d quality is exceptional. Any old ( or new ) rockers out there, dont hesitate in buying this, simply brilliant lyrics and production. Steve – age 63.

Well firstly it;s The Who, so you know it’s good. I would have preferred teh full versions of Who Are You? and Won’t Get Fooled Again, but other than that, Perfect. Welll worth getting as the songs are more mastered for modern equipment, so louder on Portable Media etc.

I went to see the Who Hits 50 in concert so just had to have the CD to continue recalling the event. These tracks were all sung at the concert I attended and I just loved the concert and this CD. Good sounds, from a great group of years gone by.

“That ’70s Show” is a personal favorite of mine and one of the best sitcoms in my opinion. The stories told in each episode are really funny, memorable, and engaging. ALL of the characters are really likeable and offer a great variety of personalities and comedic styles.

The whole cast has great chemistry together and is very charismatic, likeable, and a complete joy to watch. This blu ray set collects all the seasons in a nice little package. The only other thing I wish it included was a digital copy of the series, but that’s not a deal breaker.

Overall, this is a great collection of a truly excellent sitcom. This set contains hours of entertainment and laughs, so I highly recommend it.

Not rating the show, just this soecific release. I read reviews that spoke of shotty quality and malfunctions and hoped that it wouldnt be the case for me, unfortunately, it was. Not only did the quality look pretty poor for a blu ray, but the discs would skip several scenes and randomly freeze on our player.

About halfway through the pulot, the didc froze and skipped into another episode. This happened on a different disc from a later season that we tested also. I would reccomend buying digitally or maybe even the earlier blu ray release, definitely not this one!.
