This game was a staple of my and my daughter’s childhoods. She’s a young adult now, and when she came to visit recently, she wanted to play games and remembered this one so fondly, she specifically requested it.

If you were a fan of the old school set up, prepare to be disappointed! The board folds into 4 sections (which made our on-the-bed game play a bit tricky), and the spinner is no longer a part of the board.

She also missed the other “3-D” aspects of the game: no grassy plastic hills to drive over, no buildings to attach. The cars and pegs are still there, and there are gender neutral pegs, which is a nice touch.

(In addition to adding a peg for a spouse or child, you can add friends and pets. ) There’s also a weird lil update with investment cards: you choose a sector to invest in, and every time a player spins the number associated with your sector, the bank pays on your investment.

We mostly ignored this option. Maybe my memories of the game have the patina of age and it was never that great, but game play was short, interest was low, and I’ll probably end up donating the game,.

I was really wanting to love this game. Life is one of my top two games I love to play. I was glad to see actual money was involved, not some card system that kept tabs for you. I like the math skills integrated when my kids play.

The cars and people/pets updated look are super cute. Otherwise it was a disappointment. You just keep getting money, money, money. Nothing bad ever happens – all risk is basically gone. Unless you pick the “path of doom” that’s one little stretch of board.

Even when you “lose” money on an action card, you still get $100k at the end of the game for every single action. The increase in starting money also means the college path isn’t as risky – no loan needed.

Salaries are directly tied to positions. So it’s actually advantageous to go to college in this Life edition. The houses are all pretty great or amazing. No shacks or funny junk houses as options. I don’t know, the whole vibe of the game is just so different than the original, I was pretty disappointed.

No hill or mountain ridges to give some visual variety to the game board. I was hoping this was going to replace my 30yo board but I doubt it. Also don’t like that it’s only 4 players. The older version has six players.

I bought this when it was on sale because I didn’t own the Game of Life and wanted a copy. I thought this version sounded fun because it adds pets. I know there are a lot of complaints about this version but personally, I really enjoy it! Yes, the money amounts are high.

Yes, the quality is not quite the same as it used to be. Yes, you don’t really have to pay as much back to the bank as you used to. But I found it to be a really fun version of the game. My husband and I are in our 30s and we’ve played the game by ourselves twice.

It’s fun going through all the variations. The first time we played, we took opposite paths through the whole game. One of us went to college, the other did not. One tried for kids, the other did not.

It was fun and exciting to see how everything played out. I absolutely love that there are so many choices. In the end, the game was really close which made it more fun. I think that makes the game even more fun for the younger kids, because even when you haven’t landed the best job and you don’t win the spin to wins, you still have a good shot at winning the game.

No game is fun when someone is a runaway winner. This version of life makes it a lot harder to have a runaway winner.

Most of the time, Hasbro has a reputation for making a product that, unbeknownst to it’s buyers, will have that little flaw that will make it so that you will want to get a better reimagining of the same toy years later.

It is a basic sales strategy which keeps the company going in hard times, and which, unfortunately for Hasbro, many of the fans have caught on to, myself included. This toy is a perfect example of “That toy” that I anticipated was about to be made and released, but not until after a number of inferior and much cheaper experiments to make sure that there was an actual market for it.

This version of “The Ark” works very well as a final version. In fact, it has a new feature which I wasn’t expecting, in that in includes a transforming Mainframe action figure as well which fits inside the chest cavity.

What people might not realize is that The Ark is capable of transforming and is fully functional in both modes without Mainframe, which allows the child or collector to set up a little base over here, and just set The Ark aside for other make believe adventures without having to transform Mainframe and store him away inside, which of course would ruin the toy.

That said, there is a little bit of room for improvement in the actual appearance of the Ark in Vehicle Mode,in particular that it has a pair of massive, open empty spaces in it’s sides “for ventilation”.

Third party kits exist to fix this and they are failry inexpensive, I suppose because they are really quite unnecessary and purely cosmetic. Also, The Ark comes with a tiny Optimus Prime figure which is actually to scale, which of course is a set-up for future purchases you probably weren’t planning on getting.

namely, tiny versions of Megatron, Soundwave, Sideswipe, Bumblebee, and more, and the list will likely be exhaustive. To the best of my awareness, these have not yet been released, but are planned. Oh, sure! They weren’t about to make the perfect toy for you without there being a catch, were they? =P.

The Ark is a good addition to the line of Titan Class figures going all the way back to the Generations Metroplex. The Ark is a great rendition of the ship that we all know and love, but now in 3D, and it transforms too! It has a good bit of greeble surface detail with a simple and satisfying transformation.

The head is also a cool nod to the “The Last Autobot” in the comics. The negatives would be the hollow bits on Alt mode. They are more forgivable in Bot mode, but the ship form is really hurt by this.

Also the small gun turrets placed all over the body are stationary and it would have been great if they rotated and pitched up and down. Your brain just instinctively wants to move them around, but they don’t move.

The other thing that, while not a deal breaker, is that I wish a weapon was included. A cannon or two that could be attached to the ship mode or even hidden in the recesses on the sides where the legs fold would have been great.

I digress though, The Ark is definitely worth adding to the collection. I’m very happy with it.

It’s the Ark. That being said it’s at best an overpriced kids toy. When you get into this price point, your a collector and not a kid. If Hasbro made this a non transforming playset at a realistic price, it would have served its purpose for both demographics and done it well.

In Ark mode it is comparable to a large paw patrol vehicle but sub-par. It’s full of non moving parts and large hollow gaps, it at best looks unfinished. There is plenty of molded detail but it gets lost in yellow paint.

The 3D printed upgrades are already pouring out so you can expect to pay another fifty to a hundred in upgrades plus another fifty for stickers to make it look complete. ish. In robot mode well it looks like a yellow ship with arms, legs, a bad head sculpt, and Itty bitty hands.

No attempt was made to hide the transformation and as typical now there is no weapons included. You get two big blast effects for two out of the four thrusters which is well useless. Honestly and I hate to say it but it’s a return.

Hopefully they can learn from the third party market and learn quality again.

While much more expensive than the other non-original magnets, this product can hold its own against traditional shoe laces. The other types are much weaker and cannot handle the stress of strenuous activity like running , soccer and cycling.

this model will keep the shoe closed regardless of activity.

My friend’s autistic son would cry everyday about lacing up & tying his shoes. It was just too much sensation and fiddling. The first day they used the Zubits I sent, the morning was transformed! His mom couldn’t believe there was no crying and he was so happy he even wanted to get them for some high tops he had but could not tolerate before.

They use two sets on those high-top sneakers and they, too, now work great!!.

All this commercials about this magnet on a running shoes are lie. You should work carefully without any fast movings, to keep it close. Nor running, tennis, futbool neither bysicall. Chess, and sloooooow walking.

Both of my Grandchildren loved it, and my 4-1/2-year old keeps it on her bed ! It is very interesting to them the way the State blocks rotate, and I love the educational aspects and each block naming the State’s Capitol.

It is well-made, and will occupy the little rascals on car trips ! But it is also a great every-day, around the house toy. I would recommend it to anyone.

I already had my own USA license plate travel game that I purchased several years ago and keep in my car. Recently other relatives were in my car and liked the game so much that I bought three additional games to give as Christmas gifts!! In my family, as I was growing up, when we were traveling across the USA via automobile on vacation, we would always play the license plate game, keeping a list on a piece of paper of the different state license plates that we saw.

This USA license plate board makes the process even more fun as you flip a state name over as you see a license plate from that state. If you travel a lot in your car to various parts of the USA, you should have this game in your car! It helps to make for even more happy travels!.

I was so pleased with this board that I am writing this review within minutes of getting it in the mail- therefore I can not speak of the durability. Very nice! Thick. The “license†plates are held on by tiny “bungee cords†that make flipping them easy yet sturdy.

We are making a roadtrip that will last five days, and my son is very excited to use this. I have no doubt that it will survive the journey. I would recommend this!.

We had the original version of this game played with 2 pigs. It taught my 3 year old grandson to quickly add in 1’s, 5’s and 10’s. So I bought this version for my class to improve their addition strategies.

The rules are different but I get 4 groups of children to play the original version of the game. Really good maths game.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for a 9 year old however I have played this game with family for many hilarious hours in the past. Consists of 2 little pigs which you effectively use as dice. The position of the pigs on ‘landing’ determines the score and the winner is the first to 100 points.

Score pad included. The ‘tin’ packaging is much sturdier than the original box of years ago thus keeping the contents safe. This gift met with strong approval. It’s suitable for mixed age groups although beware small pieces with young children.

Can get quite competitive and addictive. Needless to say it is definitely appropriate for family fun.

Kids had a great time playing with the pigs separately and as the game Pass the pigs. Flat surface and no wind necessary to avoid arguments. More playable than you would credit from a novelty version.

My son is a Beyblade fan and has always used the standard launchers that come with the stadiums. This set features a launcher that is larger and much easier to hold. The sparking is a fun little add-on that he thinks is really cool.

I like that it is a older friction sparker that sparks from the spinning when you launch, and not something electronic that requires batteries. The Bey/top is a fun design that works well with the rest of his collection that he has accumulated over the last two years.

This is now his favorite laucher for all his Beyblade tops.

I think that it’s good and the sparks come out of the launcher, I don’t really think that the brave valtryek in this pack is bad, but it’s decent. And one more thing is that the launcher in this set isn’t string! What! It comes with a ripcord, and when you launch it, the power is 95% good.

MOstly, I like string launcher so for the people who like string launchers, i’d recommend that you buy takaratomy spark launcher that is string. Overall the pack is good, and I like that Hasbro released a new brave valtryek, (hasbro version).

I got this toy and gave it to my 7 year old the same day. He played with it continuously and is still playing with it weeks later. I had to go and get one for my 4 year old because they were constantly fighting over it.

The toys are well made and the value is great. I like that there are other sets for purchase. This keeps them interested and entertained. I would definitely recommend this toy.

I actually bought this for a friend. I was in Texas and couldnt travel to the gas station that sells it so I felt bad because he wanted me to pick up a bag for him while I was in Texas but couldnt so I bought him two bags which by the way hes already finished.

All the tiles were present in the correct amount. Well made doesn’t look cheap at all. It’s sturdy and high quality. I would highly recommend it.

Literally God awful!! We owned the original beyblades over10 years ago for my oldest son. Now for my 3 year old these new ones are terrible. Cheapest quality on the face of the earth. No one can get these things to stay on the ripper to even do one launch! I’m taking this thing back to the store and I have no box anymore so I hope they return.

Beyblade company needs to stop with the cheap plastic.

This has kept the kids entertained for hours (myself included). This isn’t just for the children and creates lasting moments with your children, competing for the win (and learning how to accept losing!).

Pro’s – Build quality is much better than the other stadiums (e. g slingshot) which feel very flimsy and cheap. – This stadium is much better than the others and forces the beyblades to attack one another and there are NO sections for the beyblade to “ring out” which I found very annoying in other stadiums.

– Comes with 2 beyblades to test out the stadium. – Includes Left Hand spin BeyBlade. Con’s – Would love if it was slightly larger, however enough to fit in 3 blades at the same time.

This is a fantastic set. I’ve never used any Beyblade products before, however, we are now fans. The stadium is easy to set up. The tops were slightly confusing at first. There are four pieces shown in the directions to put together however we only actually had to put three together as two were already together upon unboxing.

After we figured that out, the rest of the assembly was a breeze. The launchers send the tops spinning super fast. They are fun to watch and cheer on. Once in a while a top will fall off prior to launch and it needs to be reset.

Overall, this is a fantastic toy that has gotten so much usage. This would make a great gift for a wide range of ages.

I buy chew toys with the understanding that the squeaker will very quickly become separated from the toy. It’s our Dobie’s greatest goal to complete this mission. So I assumed the same would be true for this football shaped toy.

We are going on 3 weeks now, and Shiloh is no where close to de-squeaking this toy! I think it’s due to the placement of the squeaker on the curve of the football. Since it’s the first one we’ve bought, I can’t attest to whether this is a fluke or repeatable, but I will definitely buy another if/when this one wears out.

And the fluorescent green color is a plus too!.

I got this for my very destructive, chewy 3 year old shepherd/husky mix. He ripped it apart in less than 5 minutes unsupervised, thanks to my husband! It’s not durable at all for heavy chewers. He’s not happy until he stops his toy from squeaking.

If you have a heavy chewer look for something else. He’s even chewed a hole in the Tire Biter Mammoth after about 20 minutes. Only thing that lasts in my house with him are actual boiled marrow bones, Classic Kongs, and Benebones.

Frustrating because he loves plush toys.

My dog has played with this for about a month. She won’t play fetch with it. She will only use it as a squeaker toy. It is a strong quality football, but not like some of those that are so super tough that my dog can’t even squeak when chewing on it.

My dog has destroyed many toys so she is a heavy chewer but doesn’t have such a strong big jaw like some of the big dogs. I have a mixed breed dog. 25 #’s 8 months old now. Boxer, Lab, Chihuahua, Terrier.

I love this toy! My puppy has destroyed toys that are made for super chewers, so I rate this one high! When they come back in stock I will order a couple more, however I expect this one to last a long time.

We “love” Kellogg’s Club Cracker — been getting them for a long time from Sam’s Club; but suddenly Sam’s Club no longer has them — no answers as to when or IF they’ll be able to get them back. Sooooo, while I’ve been ON HOLD on Kellogg’s 800 # for 30 minutes.

I’ll ask here — WHEN will Kellogg’s have the larger 50 OZ boxes back on the shelves? Our supply is getting VERY LOW. Thank you! 😉 FYI, I’m sick n tired of companies trying to “trick” consumers by “resizing” boxes! That is just stupid — makes no sense at all! Simply increase the price to reflect the product costs! DOWNSIZING INCREASES the companies’ overall cost because it now takes more packaging — cost MORE — to put the same quantity of actual product on shelves!!! PLUS, it’s just down right deceptive and poor customer relations! Time and again I hear folks talk about how you can’t buy “A GALLON” of ice cream anymore — just stupid! Sooooo, Hope to gosh Kellogg’s is not using the same tactics with Club Crackers OR with other Kellogg’s products.

So disappointed with Club crackers. Every sleeve just falls apart, all crackers in half. Crackers so fragile. Don’t hold up to put anything on them. Rich taste gone. Coincidentally I found old box of Keebler…totally refreshing as they did not break, weren’t broken and tasted good, it was then I noticed the new Kellogg name and realized you changed the crackers not just the name.

(BTW Need to change packaging that says “original” as they are not the Original. ) So I tried some Townhouse thinking they could be our new go to cracker. Ooops they are even worse than the Club crackers, they don’t break in half like the Club crackers, they totally disintegrate! And basically no taste.

Looked closer to see…omg. the Kellogg name. Well now I know…have to look for crackers outside the Kellogg brands, so bummed. Club crackers had a great run with us :(.

I have always bought Keebler club crackers to have in my soup, snack on with cheese, etc. I couldn’t find Keebler but saw Kellogg’s and thought “Well a club cracker is still a club cracker. It should be basically the same.

” Wrong!! There seems to be a hint of butter but it’s hard to tell with the tablespoon of salt you have poured all over these. Just a suggestion for you. You can have great taste without a ton of salt.

Also, it does not dissolve in my mouth the way they used to. There are bits of salt, etc that still crunch between my teeth after I have swallowed the cracker. Now I have to find a new favorite soup cracker.

Kellogg’s, if something is perfect just the way it is, don’t fix it. You say the recipe is the same? You might have the original recipe laying around somewhere but our taste buds don’t lie. We can tell you’re not using that recipe.
