20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Asian Hair (2022 Updated)

I have super thick, wavy and poofy hair that I have my hair stylist dye brown since I started going prematurely gray in my late twenties. It takes forever for my hair to air dry and it is so unruly for the most part that I just let it air dry until it’s not soaking wet and then I begin the long task of using a hair dryer and then straightening my hair.

I do this once or twice a week. I have tried every shampoo and conditioner, even the supposed custom shampoo and conditioner sets, and I would continue my search to find something to condition and calm down my hair, add shine and smell amazing since I only wash my hair two to three times a week, on the weekends I generally wear my hair wavy.

I was at my local Ulta and happened to walk past the aisle carrying this brand and noticed there were products specifically for my hair type. I didn’t even care that it was expensive, I had to try it! I couldn’t believe how concentrated the product is and how it made my hair feel and smell after the first use.

With each subsequent use my hair feels more and more healthy: it’s moisturized without being weighed down, it’s shinier, and I am actually getting compliments that my hair is looking good. It has such a lovely yet subtle fragrance that has a staying power that other products don’t have.

If you have thick and coarse hair you know how are hair tends to pick up other odors, yucky ones, and with this shampoo and conditioner I can still smell the fragrance a bit up until I rewash my hair.

My husband even complimented me on the way my hair smells. He asked me if I had just washed my hair and I told him I had the night before. I am hooked! I also notice my wavy hair is more subdued and pretty since I started using this two weeks ago.

I stumbled across @theouai from a @sephoracanada when I placed my order and I selected the @theouai Shampoo Conditioner for Medium Hair as a free sample after reading the ingredients list (which did not contain any of harmful ingredients mentioned).

It was my first time trying out any product from the brand and I didn’t have any expectations. When I first opened it I was immediately hit by the fruity floral fragrance which smells amazing and for someone who is sensitive to fragrance it was very easy to get use to.

It smells SO GOOD! A little bit goes a long way which is great for my medium thick hair. Overall using the combination of the shampoo and conditioner after the first use my hair instantly felt softer hydrated smoother and feels squeaky clean.

Definitely no more split ends! Normally when I wake up the next morning I’m prone to excessive hair loss which can happen because of my diet and products I use to wash my hair or put in as treatment.

For reference: I have LONG hair with a naturally wavy/curly texture, and with that comes frizz. A lot of it – even though I’m very aware of how to tame it (naturally kept or with a blow-out). My hair behaves weirdly, i’ll just put it that way – it’s difficult to achieve perfectly smooth styles.

HOWEVER. I’ve been using OUAI products (I started with the THICK SHAMP+THICK COND. ) for a little bit over a year now & all I can say is. I will NEVER go back to anything else, ever, unless I find something AS extraordinary as this brand.

It’s like magic in a bottle, to me at least. I have never experienced better hair (at home, done by me) in my entire life. It’s insanely smooth & silky. I have such minimal frizz now. I normally need to blow dry AND straighten my hair, but I am beyond satisfied with just the blow-dried results.

The only cons, I would say, is that because there’s such rich and moisturizing ingredients (love to see it!) your hair can become a tad oily after the third day, even second sometimes. You just need to figure out what the right amount of product is for you so that you don’t over do it.

The second con, though it’s nothing too crazy, would be that sometimes I end up needing more product in the shower, as it doesn’t lather suuuuper well – but again, this depends on hair length and the amount that you know you need.

I guess I just wish it foamed a bit more, is all. BUT these are such small things that can be resolved & aren’t much of a big deal. For the oily con as mentioned above, this is why I switched to the MEDIUM line & I feel like it has helped.

Briogeo needs better packaging. Their product packaging is similar to what you can find at a drugstore, if you like Briogeo products it’s probably not because of the packaging it’s because of the actual product.

But let me just say that 50% of the time you don’t even get to use the product because the packaging is so unappealing , the charcoal scalp scrub , slips right out of the container. Not sanitary to put your hands in the container every time you use it , especially if you’re like me and you like to share products with your friends.

( i recommended the one from drunk elephant. That is in a closed container, you can squeeze out the amount desired. ) It doesn’t make sense for this shampoo to be inside of a pump bottle, I’ve been using this shampoo and it’s very watery.

slips out of the hand , the pump itself gives you too much product. The shampoo itself seems like isn’t doing much better than my favorite drugstore brand. I just have to give it 1 star. I recommend drunk elephant shampoo and conditioner and Verb shampoo and conditioner over this one.

They are a lot better.

This became my everyday shampoo for when I wanted a good cleanse, soft strands and volume. I have an oily scalp problem. While it doesn’t help delay the oil production, this is able to provide a thorough cleanse, leaving my hair (and the room) with this refreshing orange blossom scent.

My most favourite thing about it is that it adds a little Zhoosh to my locks. My hair looks bouncy, with volume and, feels lightweight. It’s silicone & sulphate free, and doesn’t lather much. The one issue I do have with this is that since the formulation is runny and light, I have to use a considerable amount each time.

I feel bad that it’s all emptied out, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is one I’d definitely repurchase.

I had high hopes for this shampoo but it’s terrible for oily hair. My hair gets quite oily and dirty and I normally wash it every 3 days, I had never had issues with my other shampoos to cleanse my hair in the past but I did with this shampoo.

There was nearly no bubbles even when I rub it in my palms before applying to my hair, and so it’s extremely difficult to clean my hair. The first time I had to use 4 pumps to even get my hair clean! Which is a lot considering how small the bottle is honestly.

I haven’t had any noticeable difference either in terms of hair volume or texture, so I’ll strongly suggest that you don’t buy it, and especially DONT if you have oily hair because this shampoo doesn’t even clean it well.

I bought this product using my MECCA staff discount and I still don’t think it’s worth the money. For reference I have thin and oily hair.

This is my DREAM shampoo, after many years of struggles and health changes! I have straight fine hair that NEVER has volume. I used to get a little volume from my thickness. that is, until I went off dairy and gluten as part of a healthier diet in my mid-30s.

Losing that “overdose” of calcium (and I mean, I was ADDICTED to dairy, so I went from a huge dairy diet to none) just changed my body. There were many positive changes, and this was a holistic health decision, and I stand by it, but I was so sad at what became of my hair.

Five years after my diet changes, I got pregnant, and pregnancy vitamins helped my hair thicken again, but of course, when pregnancy and breastfeeding were over, I stopped the vitamins, and my hair got thinner than it was before pregnancy.

I tried many suggestions about rose oil and the horse shampoo to help hair growth, etc. But none of it really helped, and the horse shampoo just made my hair hang and look sad. So when I tried Desert Essence’s Mango, I picked this scent because it said it helped with volume, but I didn’t have much hope.

Oh my friggin’ goodness, this stuff was AWESOME!!! I began to see results after the first couple of washes, and when I use the Mango Conditioner too, it’s even better. I love how it smells. My husband is really attracted to the scent.

My toddler notices the smell too and likes the smell of mom’s hair. I normally dye and highlight my hair, and this has been really reparative and restorative to the harshness of those chemicals. I am just in love with this shampoo, and so grateful I can feel good about my hair again, for the first time in eight years! I am now pregnant again, and I trust Desert Essence products to be safe to use throughout my pregnancy and breastfeeding, and I am so happy I will have this product to continue to feel good about my hair as my body changes through all the symptoms of pregnancy.

I have a very dry, itchy scalp and you wouldn’t believe the number of products I’ve tried (at every price point) to soothe my scalp. This conditioner is THE one. In the past, conditioners have been a huge challenge for me because I have oily hair, and a lot of conditioners on the market leave behind a residue that leave my hair oily, and horribly flat.

But not this one. I always work the conditioner through my hair and scalp. This step alone provides a lot of relief from the itching. Then I comb my hair to make sure the product is evenly distributed, and I leave it on for about 5 min.

Sometimes I’ll put on a shower cap at the same time, which seems to help lock in the moisture, and it prevents any of the product from getting rinsed off while I wash my face and shave my legs. The conditioner rinses out easily, and it doesn’t leave a residue behind.

Ultimately, this product soothes my scalp, and leaves my hair feeling soft without weighing it down. I think this is the best conditioner on the market, and I always have a bottle in the shower plus a spare.

I have severe scalp issues (sebhorreic dermatitis) due to hormonal imbalances. I’ve tried ketoconazole, zinc pyrithone, Tsal, tea tree oil, and many different unmedicated shampoos. I had used a bottle of Sachajuan’s purple shampoo in the past and was impressed with it so I decided to take a leap and try another medicated scalp shampoo.

I’m just blown away by how clean this gets my scalp, how it stops the itching, and how it staves off my sebhorreic dermatitis. On top of that, it’s the only medicated shampoo I have used that does not cause any irritation.

There is a lot of promising research out there on the active ingredients. I always keep an extra bottle on hand in case I run out because I can’t live without it. I massage into my scalp and leave it on for 5-10 mins in the shower and this allows me to go 3 days between washes without any buildup.

I was able to use this conditioner on my scalp without it weighing down my hair. I suffer from a dry itchy scalp and so I’m looking for something that will moisturize my scalp and help promote healing but not weigh down my hair because it’s very long.

I’m also looking for something that will be moisturizing on the ends of my hair. I’m happy with what it can do on the scalp but not happy with how it looks on the ends of my hair. In my picture you can see it my hair looks drier than normal.

Usually my hair is very shiny and vibrant. After using the shampoo and conditioner of this brand my hair looks dull and dry and I’m not very happy with the results.  It did not moisturize the ends of my hair.

This was such a fun campaign to be in! There were FOUR full sized products that I got to try. I definitely felt I got a good sense of each product before writing my review. The conditioner was just ok though.

However, it really isn’t fair for me to rate normal conditioners lol. My hair is on the dryer side and there’s a lot of it. It’s also pretty tough and can stand relatively high heat (hair dryer and sometimes cutler).

I’ve been using a deep conditioner mask as my regular conditioner for the past few years, and that has helped tremendously with both my dry scalp and hair. Which is why I’m not necessarily blaming this product for not being moisturizing enough.

I can see this working for people with normal hair, but normal conditioner just doesn’t work for my hair, so I’ll be giving both the shampoo and conditioner to my sister. It does smell really good and the scent did last for a couple days.

And I will say my hair did look slightly fuller when I was using this + the other products.

I’m super bummed about this shampoo. I read so many great reviews, and I found it at Walmart for a great price. So here we go — pros: it smells ANAZING. Like, super good. It kinda reminds me of Bath and Body Works sweet pea scent.

And it’s sulfate free! Cons: It made my hair feel INCREDIBLY dry on the ends. Bad. And that was after the conditioner (plus rinsing with cold water). It also left a weird crunchy residue feeling on the top part of my hair, too.

I made sure to rinse it all off as well, but it felt super weird on top when it started to dry. I’ll maybe use it one or two more times and then throw out the bottle. This product could work for you, though.

I’ve read more good reviews than bad. I just personally haven’t had a good experience with it. Like, my hair was practically SCREAMING for hydration after using this product. I have very fine hair but a lot of it, and I’m just saying — my hair felt healthier after bleaching it awhile back than it did after using this shampoo + conditioner.

This made my hair feel like straw at the bottom and just weird and gross at the top.

I received this free product from Influenster/Marc Anthony for feedback and here’s my honest review: I really like this product. My hair had been thinning for some time and, after my first use of this product along with the same brand/line’s conditioner I saw a noticeable difference in how thick my hair looked.

Unfortunately I did not take any photos of my hair at the start of product use — I wish I had! — and so I can’t speak to whether my hair looks thicker because hair grew or because this product just makes hair appear so.

In any case, my hair looks and feels great since using this product line (almost a month, now): thicker, definitely softer, less frizz, and it smells amazingly. I’ve already recommended this to family and friends and I’m ready to buy replenishment as soon as I finish the free ones I received.

I bought a small bottle randomly hoping it might be a decent more natural conditioner. I was pleasantly surprised, my hair that as become dry with age feels very soft and looks shiny and has good body.

I like it better than any other conditioners I’ve tried in the last few years, and it doesn’t have an overwhelmingly fake fragrance. It smells nice but doesn’t smell so strong that I feel like I’ve put on too much purfume.

Very happy with the short ingredient list too! I bought the 1 gallon because it’s such a good deal and with 2 girls we go through conditioner like crazy!.

I’ve been using this shampoo for a couple years now. Shampoo was the first “natural” product I bought after realizing how silly the mass-market ingredients are, and it’s always hard to find one that lathers enough without using a ton of product and leaves your hair soft.

I do use a couple other good brands, like Desert Essence, but this is my favorite. Luxurious lather that leaves my hair soft, not stripped. It’s almost like I used conditioner. The fragrance is light and pleasant.

Plus, it’s very affordable. I also use a shave gel with shikai extract for lather–it’s a great ingredient.

The natural shampoo/conditioner brand I’ve used for several years was discontinued, so I decided to try Shikai. I have been using this conditioner with the Volumizing shampoo. My hair is usually pretty tangly after a shower, even with conditioner, but now it is much easier to comb through afterwards! I was very pleased with this.

The smell is not strong at all, and is somewhat pleasant. I was interested in trying the volumizing conditioner as well, but it doesn’t look like they carry it here anymore, so this one will do fine for now.

I would actually say that in all of the years I’ve been using natural products, this is the best natural conditioner I’ve ever tried!.

For a shampoo at this price, safe to say I was disappointed. I was going back through the product description and reviews to see what this thing is actually meant to do, and it still feels unclear. The description says “shinier, healthy-looking hair,” which suggested it was hydrating, but a lot of reviews said it was drying/stripping.

I bought this on the basis of those reviews because I have pretty oily hair which needs washing too frequently. The scent was nice – I noticed some people said it was overpowering, but I don’t notice it anymore than a leave-in conditioner or oil that you get at a hair salon.

The consistency was pretty normal for a shampoo – not too liquid, not too thick. It didn’t lather up too much, but it could still lather. And at the very least, it felt like it was easy enough to rinse out.

But every time I used this and blow-dried after, my hair ended up just as greasy as it had been prior to washing. I’ve had this happen with other shampoos (if they’re meant to be very hydrating shampoos or heavily oil-based), but it’s surprisingly rare to find one that has this effect on my hair.

Usually even general “hydrating shampoos” won’t actively make my hair greasier. This one did just that, and it’s been incredibly frustrating to spend all this time washing and blow-drying only to get greasy hair immediately afterward.

Tried it multiple times only to get the same result. Tried mixing up shampoos, and the effects really only got worse after using this one. So if anyone else is looking at the reviews thinking it might be good for oily hair (because it baffles me that everyone else here said it was too drying/stripping), do not walk, RUN away from this shampoo.

One of the rare purchases that I genuinely regret making and will probably try to get a refund for.

This product is absolutely AMAZING! My hair was extremely stringy, heavy, greasy yet dry and soooo tangled all of the time after moving to Arizona and having extremely hard water. It was absolutely disgusting and I just felt gross all of the time! I have tried so many different things and finally came across clarifying shampoos.

I have been using Kenra products for a while now and decided to try their clarifying shampoo. I noticed a HUGE difference after just one wash! My hair was so bad it took about three washes for the buildup to come completely out.

I have used Kenra shampoo & conditioner exclusively since 2010. I have tried others over the years and always come back to Kenra. When my husband and I were experiencing super dry hair I decided to give the Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner a try.

It worked great for me for a few washes and then my hair was good and I was able to go back to regular shampoo. But my husband still continues to use the Moisturizing shampoo & conditioner daily. It does not make his hair oily and it does not smell “girly.

” I am EXTREMELY sensitive to fragrance and this shampoo & conditioner do not bother me, even when I use it. Also, I have really fine hair, but a ton of it. and this did not weigh down my hair like so many other moisturizing or nourishing shampoos do.

Would give this a 10 out of 10. Use it every once in a while to add some moisture back in when you need it. or use it as often as you want and it still won’t weigh down your hair or make it oily!!.

k, so to preface I’ve always used drugstore haircare so the bar was pretty low for me when it comes to anything hair related. These were recommended to me by one of the hairstylists at Ulta. Now, my hair has some issues, but this shampoo/conditioner set wrecked my hair.

It made my hair frizzy, dry, and hard to brush through. The ends of my hair felt like straw. I didn’t realize how bad it truly was till I switched to a diff shampoo/conditioner. Would not recommend to anyone.

I like this conditioner. It smells really great, the texture is nice and it’s wonderful for the hair. I have dry damage hair, so this product was not really intended for my use but it make shiny hair that look in good health.

This conditioner is not agressive and we see that he’s for greasy hair, but still, can work for ever type of hair. That brand looks good.

This smells like you’r at the hairdresser, it feeds your hair it smalls amazing and is basically so good. I have been using it for like a year now and the drugstore shampoos are nothing like this. Go buy it and try it out.

100% recommend I buy this every month it smells beautiful I get the shampoo conditioner and oil. You no you are treating your hair when you use it, you can feel how thick and luxurious it feels on the hair.

The shampoo smelled quite strongly of ginseng when it came out of the bottle, but does go over to a lovely rose scent that’s very typical of most Asian salon-grade shampoos (generic smell). It lathers very well and immediately soothes any itchiness or tingling when it comes into contact with the scalp.

That effect does not last sadly, and any irritation that I had before using this hasn’t improved. The scent does linger on your hair, actually overpowering any other products you might use. This is either a good thing (in case you’re simultaneously using products that don’t have a desirable smell) or a bad thing (in case you prefer other products’ scents).

The conditioner makes your hair very silky and the fragrance lasts for a few days. It is not as overpowering as the shampoo but is a lighter, complementary scent. I didn’t feel any more moisture than usual, or repairing effects for that matter.

The ends of my hair still get dry despite my scalp being problematic and oily, so the conditioner has not improved the ends of my hair. I did buy this to try and curb hair loss – which the products have not done despite using it exclusively for more than a month.

I know that visible results take time, but it shouldn’t take this long. After I finish this shampoo/conditioner combo, I will not be buying more since the products do not deliver the results I was hoping for.

However, the scent is delightful and the overall products feel luxurious. So if you’re looking for a nice scented shampoo and conditioner combo – this is the one for you.

Sound crazy but my hair feels amazing every time I wash it. My hair history is oily after a day, bleached ends and use hair straighteners 2-3 times. (Only Shampoo the scalp twice and only condition the mids and ends.

) Since using this shampoo and conditioner my hair seem less oily and can survive 2 days after wash before needing to use dry shampoo on it. Smells really gd too. Totally recommend and gd price.

I have to say at first I wasn’t too sure due to the price but after using it, it is so worth it! This is being used by me (long hair, dry ends, 30s) and my mom (short/medium hair, thin-ish hair due to the age, 60s) and we both love it so much.

Our hair is very soft after every use. We each use about a dime size amount or less and it does the job well.

As I shared about my shampoo experience, this is a winner. I do not usually reach for products that are not dedicated to natural hair, drier hair , and caters to hair that is more of a 4C style, but this satisfies.

I used the shampoo first and as I stated in my previous review, it is very exhilarating. My scalp feels good with the ingredients in it. Followed by this thick but very lucid formula, I was able to apply this to my hair and experience a nice soft moisturized head of hair that smelled good and felt as if some of the natural oils had been replenished.

 I really like the way that it felt in my hair. I like to use products that are natural and organic and don’t add a lot of unnatural additives to it. This product did not have unnatural ingredients.

The ginger and lemon grass are all natural and as a conditioner this product really made me feel like I was doing something good for my hair. It had no sulfates. It had no thick texture that was hard to rinse s out of my hair.

It just worked and being a person that wears locs in my hair, I am concerned about products that will rinse clean and not leave build up. This did not leave build up in my hair. I would use this again.

It has taken me a while to put up my review for I don’t shampoo my naturally curly hair but once a week (::gasp:: sometimes longer). And I wanted to fully test and sample this product. I didn’t think I would enjoy the lemon-pledge-like scent that wafted from the container, but outside of the bottle, the fragrance was more spa-like and pleasant than furniture polish.

As a rule, I tend to reach for hair products that cater to natural curls, but I believe I am making an exception once this full-size bottle @influenster sent me to try. I will probably purchase another.

The Suave Lemongrass Ginger shampoo was nicely clarifying, without leaving my hair feeling stripped. My hair felt cared-for, which isn’t the norm for my hair and over-the-counter shampoo. Suave made this Lemongrass Ginger shampoo with natural ginger and lemon grass and no sulfates.

The suds it did produce washed out nicely. I would recommend this shampoo/conditioner pair; more on the conditioner in its own review.

I tried out the Lemongrass + Ginger Shampoo from Suave. I have fine hair that’s half naturally gray and half color treated. I have to use a ton of product for my waist length hair so price is an important variable.

I also don’t want to spend 10 minutes rinsing Shampoo. Lastly my hair is trained so I shampoo about every 4-5 days so I need a thorough shampoo that doesn’t strip my hair. My pics are day two after shampoo and conditioner plus heartless curls.

I was surprised at how soft yet clean this product, along with the conditioner, left my hair. My husband said my hair looked great. The scent is fresh and gender neutral. Then there’s the price…very affordable, making these products a worthy bargain.

I loved this shampoo for the moisture and how soft it always left my hair. It’s upsetting to say but after today I will no longer be using this product. Today was wash day and I immediately noticed a difference.

My hair was matting at the touch. I tried to detangle and keep my hair stretched as much as possible to keep it from matting but nothing helped. I realized it was best to just rinse it out which took forever bc it didn’t seem to rinse out well (not something that usually happens).

My hair felt dry and brittle before I even washed it out. It was even worse when rinsed. My hair kept tangling as if it had a mind of its own and I ended up with 3 huge chunky knots (dreads really). All my usual conditioners weren’t working to detangle and soften (it was that dry, stiff and brittle even with water and conditioner).

I ended up having to use scissors and a Bobby pin to untangle everything. My hair felt exactly how it felt when I used to use the brand OGX and I switched to Shea Moisture. But then they got bought out and had a formula change which led me to Camille Rose.

I checked the bottle and compared it to an old one and it angers me to see that they may have been Shea Moistured as well because the formula was no where near the same. I should’ve knew something was wrong when I noticed the color change and how clear it was.

This is the 3rd time since I’ve gone natural where I have to search for a new company that caters to my 4c hair because the previous brand that did it well is changing formulas either for cost effective reasons or to include the looser curl types (2b-3c).

I’d rather a brand that won’t switch up on me, thanks!.

*This product is a hair cleanser containing Castor and Aniseed Oil. These are just two of the main ingredients in this product and these oils are multi use oils that promote growth and healing so I love that they were included in this Camille rose line.

The scent is not overpowering at all and this shampoo provides a gentle cleanse so shampoo twice if you desire. My shampoo came with a different applicator then the one pictured above, which allows you to have more control over the amount that is being dispensed (picture below).

At first I was hesitant to buy because each product in this line contains a price tag of $15 and above per product. But I am so glad I took the plunge because this entire set (pictured below) is my holy grail.

Using the entire collection together really provides my favorite finish for my curls. I never used an entire line of products that actually worked, it’s always one great product per collection and like my other curly girls we just keep buying to try to create the perfect set from different companies and spend such a huge load of money on our hair products.

I also included a recent photo so you also should note you don’t need a lot of product to lather. I had this same set since the summer and I wash weekly and thoroughly saturate my hair with my styling products so you can see a good amount is left so it definitely lasts.

I highly recommend for anyone with a similar texture to my own.

I’m sorry but I just can’t let this go lol… I first tried this cleanser years ago and I LOVED it. It was creamy, moisturizing and amazing. I recently tried it again as an adult about a year or 2 ago and my experience was NOTHING like before.

I immediately noticed that with the new bottle I got, the cleanser was a transparent yellow instead of the silky, pearlescent yellow I knew and loved. This thing is DRYING and matted my hair instantly.

I could not believe the terrible wash day I had… their new chebe cleanser does the exact same thing btw. Anywho, that screamed formula change to me! I wrote a terrible review on the Camille rose website and the owner responded to me saying that the formula did not change and that the wrong label was printed on some of the products at one point.

Please tell me how I looked on the CR website and the Sally Beauty website and compared ingredients. They are NOT the same. Such a shame… this was so fire but now it’s trash 🫤. Many reviewers have confirmed!.

This was a newish one out and as my hair needs serious help I know the brand is good so I gave it a try. When I put it onto my hair almost immediately it lathered up, I do tend to use alot, it made my hair feel really light, I learnt not to use as much as it made my shower Slippery! And I don’t need anything extra to make me fall over as I do that enough on my own.

As soon as I washed it off my hair felt good that was before the conditioner and that’s unusual. I did notice alost immediately when I removed my towel that my hair was going to have a good day problem was it was too good.

The outcome was great it felt like I had used q hair mask, the only downside was that my curls were so light and fluffy but not frizzy for a change, that I couldn’t do anything with them. Hence why I said that after that I used a lot less product which was great as it lasted longer.

I bought it on offer so a good price, sometimes it can be more costly than other makes but can’t fault it and it was nice not to have frizz.

I have always been a huge fan of Pantene’s hair products. They are really great at having a huge selection for just about any issues you’re having with your hair. I have combination problems with my hair so it’s hard to find something that targets each issue or all of them combined.

In the summer my scalp seems more oily than during other times of the year but my end are usually dry. So I love using Pantenes shampoo on my scalp and about half way down my hair then using the conditioner for the bottom parts.

It always works great and really helps even and balance my hair out. This shampoo seemed to really help keep my hair stronger and I noticed a lot less breakage and split ends. Plus their products always leave my hair smelling and looking amazing!.

After I got my hair highlighted it felt very rough and dry. I didn’t know what to use to repair the damage without having to spend another mini fortune at the salon. So when this shampoo fell into my lap so to speak, I jumped in head first, literally! This shampoo has not only done an amazing job on my hair, it smells lovely! My hair no longer feels dry or looks damaged, it feels silky again.

In fact, I get a lot of compliments from my friends and my husband about how healthy my hair looks. I think maybe because now that I feel better about my appearance that I’m smiling more often. Anyway, I like it and you better believe I will recommend this lovely shampoo to my friends and family regardless if they have color treated hair because me need to take care of ourselves.

This didn’t work for me and I suspect it’s because I have a huge amount of fine hair (the strands themselves are very fine, but my hair as a whole isn’t thin). I know a lot of people really really like this product.

I have had a lot of success with Kiehl’s in the past, so I got the shampoo and conditioner set. It doesn’t work for my hair – it leaves a kind of film on my hair near my scalp. It feels dirtier after I wash it than it does before, even if it’s been several days since I washed it.

It honestly feels as if I didn’t get all the conditioner out of my hair (but I know I did, because it happens no matter how thoroughly I rinse or scrub, and as soon as I switch to another shampoo & conditioner the issue is resolved).

I tried this shampoo for a little over two months in case my hair just needed time to adjust, but I think we’re now outside the trial period and it’s just not for me. I think the best way to describe it is that it leaves my hair sticky and clumpy.

But I will continue to be a loyal lifelong Kiehl’s customer – not everything has to be right for everyone!.

I waited awhile to do this review, I wanted to see how my hair responded to using Kiehl’s Since 1851 Amino Acid Shampoo and Conditioner. I have been using it for 5 months now and I am impressed. I have always been “cheap” when it has come to shampoo and conditioner, but I was having a lot of issues with my hair.

My volume was flat, my natural waves always seemed limp, and the worst part was that every time I brushed or washed my hair I was pulling out clumps. I switched to Kiehl’s and it is like night and day.

My natural waves are back, my hair is growing back in areas where my hair was thinning, my hair isn’t falling out by the bunches anymore and my hair is soft and has volume again. I also noticed that I have less issues with my hair feeling and looking greasy and I didn’t even realize that was an issue prior to the switch.

I convinced my mom to switch too and now this is the only shampoo and conditioner she will use as well!.

Really gorgeous lightweight shampoo that cleanses the hair thoroughly. I have pretty fine hair that gets greasy after two days and this shampoo really does the trick. Everytime I wash my hair it feels sooo clean, like i’ve just had it washed in a salon! There’s never any product build up left in my hair which is great because I use a lot of oils and masks throughout the week.

There’s a subtle smell which is really nice, not too overpowering. Just clean and fresh. I have highlights and it works perfecly for coloured hair.

First I’d like to thank ChickAdvisor and Gliss for choosing me to try out the Gliss Oil Nutritive shampoo for free. I must say when I first realised I received the Gliss Oil Nutritive products I was a bit concerned that I wouldn’t like them at all.

I’ve always stayed away from hair products that have oil in their name because my hair tends to be on the oily side. I was always worried this type of product would just make the oil in my hair come out even more, so I’ve stayed away from them because of this.

The day I got my Gliss shampoo I hadn’t washed my hair in a few days, so it was the prefect time to try it out. It comes out of the bottle really fast, so you have to keep that in mind when you’re using it.

It has a wonderful scent that both my son and I love. The first time I tried it, it kind of felt like I was just adding more oil to my already oily hair and I thought nothing good was going to come of it.

It does lather up nicely, but I did find that I needed to use a bit more of it to get the bubbles that I like than I do when I’m using my regular shampoo. On the first day I used it, it seemed harder to rinse out, I kept feeling like there was still product left in my hair even after I know I had thoroughly rinsed out and I was thinking it was the oil in the product that was causing this.

I honestly thought my hair was going to end up looking dirtier after I washed it with the Gliss Oil Nutritive shampoo than it was before I started. I couldn’t have been more wrong about that thought! Once I got my hair dried I was stunned at how clean, soft, shiny and beautiful my hair looked! I had to keep looking at it and touching it to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.

I have absolutely fallen head over heels in love with the new Gliss Oil Nutritive shampoo. All the worries I had about the oil in the product were washed down the drain along with my dirty oily hair.

My hair has never felt this soft and stayed looking and feeling this great for so long in between washes. I could only go two days with out washing my hair in the past. Since I started using the Gliss Oil Nutritive shampoo along with their conditioner and their hair repair, my hair looks and feels like it did years ago and I can go up to four days with out washing it with out it looking a oily mess.

If you have oily hair like I do and you’ve been concerned about trying Gliss Oil Nutritive shampoo just because of the oil, drop that thought out of your mind today and try it for your self. I’m sure you’ll be as shocked as I still am, but more importantly, you’ll fall in love with your baby soft hair all over again!.

I love peony, that’s why I bought the whole product line. I use this product a little differently than described in the instructions for use. My hairdresser recommended this method and I can only recommend it.

After washing your hair, apply a slightly larger amount to the wet hair ends. I pinn my hair up and either pull on a disposable shower cap or wrap it in aluminum foil and then wrap it in another towel.

Keep it as warm as possible. After 20-30 minutes I rinse it off so it will be soft, silky and nourish my hair from it. I’ve taken it again several times. 🤍.

Gliss Ultra+ Moisture Conditioner is the perfect light weight formula which packs a punch of much-needed moisture for intensely dry and brittle hair. My hair has always been dry to the point that, at times, it felt crunchie.

I got to try this product free through Chick Advisor’s product review club and after several days of use I can see the health of my hair changing! It’s a light weight formula which I love because it doesn’t weight down my curly hair; especially on days, I don’t want to use shampoo and just condition my locks.

Running my fingers through my hair now, I can feel how soft it is, which has always been a luxury I never really had before! I find the best way to use it is to squeeze out the excess water from my hair before lathering it up from root to tip.

This allows the product to absorb into hair easier. Then I let it sit for a few minutes. I also like to use a large toothed comb right before rinsing it out with cool water. The shine factor in my hair has also increased since I began using this condition.

The only thing I didn’t really notice, which it claims to help with, is less breakage. I didn’t really notice a difference in the amount of breakage I get in the shower. However, this could have been because, before using this product, my hair was quite brittle.

I would have also liked to see more product for the price. Especially since I use conditioner quicker than I use shampoo. In total, I am thoroughly pleased with the results from this condition and will definitely continue buying it in the future! 10/10 would definitely recommend!.
