10 Best Red Dot Sight For Air Rifle (2022 Updated)

Works great. Simple enough my 11 year old son could use it straight out of the packaging. Have used it hunting and golfing.

Expected to spend more… but the optics are good and it has great funtionality. Highly recommended!

After using the Celestron StarPointer Finderscope that came with my 8SE and struggling to keep it fastened to the scope, I upgraded to the Telrad which had been highly recommended by members of astronomy club.

This is not a small/compact finderscope but the ease of use and clarity of view are evident. You attach the base and insert the Telrad over its base in seconds. This keeps the base well secured on the OTA.

Consider this a no brainer upgrade.

I switched out my 5 pin setup for one of these. BIG MISTAKE. All went great target shooting. Placement was perfect every time. Out in the stand is another story. Too much moment adjusting sights, pain in the but-hole to adjust at negative temps, by the time you range a deer, adjust the sight and lock it in, pull back and get the deer in your vision through the peep, the yards have already changed and you end up shooting high or low.

No way to account for change of yardage fast with these. I wouldn’t even consider these for hunting.

I have never used a sight on my bows before my 55th birthday this September, needless to say my eyesight has been better. I was intrigued with this sight and ordered it. It took roughly 30 minutes to mount and another to properly sight in to 20 yards.

Most of the time was spent trying to serve in my very first peep. Fine tuning was easy with the micro-windage adjustments as well as well defined elevation markings. Less than an inch at 20 yds, 1. 75 avg at 40 yrds, and crazy accurate less than 3 inches at 60 yrds.

Hoyt Carbon Ellement 29 in Draw @ 69 lbs Maxima Red 250 100 grain tips. Push button brightness control is Nice! I also added the 2 x magnifier lens (Old Eyes) really Nice!!.

I had been contemplating a single pin sight for some time and when the Truglo Archers choice came on sale I just realized my dream had come true. The questions I had concerning varied ranges with differing bow speed/ arrow variables are taken care of if one reads the supplied instructions.

Only one issue which will probably not be an issue in my hunting situations where I live. Due to the light gathering of the fiber optics it is extremely bright in open sunlight. Almost too bright. Now this may not even present a problem in our coastal timber we hunt in as the tree canopy blocks much sunlight and my previos sight many times lacked sufficient light gathering ability.

So we will see soon. The adjustments are easy and precise.

Very nice quality targets – we shot quite a few up over the weekend and I really liked them. Nice heavy paper and the rounds leave precise marks – they don’t tear out to where it’s hard to score. They help up well to being stapled to the cardboard and were easy to take off without tearing the whole corner of the sheet off.

Also easy to write on – some of these have a finish that doesn’t accept ink very well.

I purchase targets looking for a product a little thicker than standard B2/B3 type targets for ease of scoring. The one I receive are fine targets but not the thickness I desire. Targets are great just if you like thicker targets these gdo not meet that standard.

Great Only problem is that once you buy from Domagron, you will never ever cease to receive their emails. They thank you for buying about twenty times. Then they email you to say they are sorry if they did something to offend because you haven’t bought targets again in.

3 weeks. Then they send you those emails to review a product you have bought and reviewed before. I swear I’m afraid I’ll have a visit from the CEO next time I don’t buy anything for one year Targets are good though.

Nice thick paper, aiming black dark with sharp scoring ring edges. 22 rimfire and. 223 match bullets cut clean holes with almost no tear out with multiple rounds enlarging the same hole. Fast shipping & packaged well.

Can be easily seen as opposed to black targets which can be difficult to see your hits. Paper is thin but it gets the job done.

Bright paper target. Easy to see where your bullets’ have landed on target.

I only gave the product a 3 star rating because it is supplied with a plumb line that drops between the bulls-eye and the floor. The idea being to be able to place the eye alignment board at the centre of the dartboard at floor level.

However, the weight they have attached to hold the line taught in position is too light and not therefore not fit for purpose. This weight should be several times heavier to hold the line vertical and straight.

Will the manufacturers please add sufficient weight to make this usable.

I have bought one of the before and I do it very helpful it improved my game heaps .I gave that one to my cousin so he could practise and I have this one brilliant. Thanku

Easy to use and has made huge improvements in my game already. My mates are shocked at how much better my darts are. the whole reason behind buying it in the first place. Still have heaps to improve on but has been an excellent start.

I also have other Birchwood steel targets which hold up very well and so i thought I’d try this one for. 22. With ammo prices still being quite high I shoot more. 22 and it’s always more fun to hear the “ping” of the steel and see something move than shooting paper all the time.

Paper splatter targets are around $1 each so you’re saving a LOT of money with a resettable target and probably having a lot more fun shooting it. You also don’t need to walk down range to reset it, just shoot the top plate to reset.

Works great! I may even pick up a second one to compete with whoever I bring to the range. Check out their higher caliber spinners too. My range has some steel but I bring these in case I can’t get a bay with steel or I just add it to what they have to change it up a bit.

Fun to shoot at. Spring guns and bb guns will “tink” but it won’t operate as intended unless you have a higher powered air rifle. Only complaint is that it is pretty small. Each target is about the size of a silver dollar.

The whole thing is maybe a foot tall.

I was concerned about the function of the product based on a video review. Fortunately, the product functioned poorly because it was set up incorrectly. The legs that fold out fold towards the front of the target.

This allows sufficient rotation of the lower targets to stay up until reset by the upper target. I have used the target at various ranges from 20 yrds to 40 yrds with a Benjamin maurader. 177, tuned to 830 fps muzzle velocity with a 10.

5 grain pellet. My usual targets are paper and cans. This target is more fun and provides the added benefit of minimal cleanup and no time wasted walking from the shooting station to replace the target.

The paper dots will soon disappear, but can be replaced with adhesive target dots or paint. Hint, it would be nice if these were available as an accessory. The target folds flat for easy storage. No signs of target damage.

Going to purchase 4 more and place them at various ranges.

I like the overall size of the opening, the sight I had previously wouldn’t allow me to see the outside ring of my pin sight. With this sight I can see it. The outer ring of my pin sight just fills this sight perfectly.

I thought it was a fair price as well. No complaints here. Thank you.

Excellent peep,no sharp edges to cut. I chose black but these come in many colors and sizes definitely recommend.

My stock peep didn’t last long. I visited the Arkansas Cabelas and the gentlemen in the archery department were great. They didn’t push any particular product but I decided on this peep. It has lasted great and is working up to the expectations I had for it.

I was a bit uncertain about buying this tripod due to the utter lack of almost any reviews anywhere on the web. But don’t let that discourage you in the slightest! This tripod is ridiculously light. It folds down to just a bit over 1 foot long, yet when extended fully I only have to bend slightly and I’m 6’ tall.

It is carbon fiber which for anyone that’s felt it before does give it a plastic like feel but it is very strong. Also the locks on the leg extensions and middle shaft unscrew to unlock, but never stop so if you were to keep unscrewing they would come off.

But understanding that, just unscrew them a small bit, extend into position and then retighten them down to lock. The leg locks that allow you to flip them 180 degrees have a pleasant clicking into place so you know when you have them in the right location.

And when flipped around for maximum compact size, with a small head (like my Sirui C-10S Ball Head) that extends a bit beyond the legs, it still fits easily in the included bag. The bag is well made and almost feels as heavy as the tripod, with solid stitching and included shoulder strap.

Having said all that I should make clear that because of this light weight, long legs, and flexible carbon fiber build, it can have a bit of a wobble. On long exposures you will want to use a remote or app to trigger the shutter.

You could drop the middle shaft so the camera is sitting on the legs, which does help a lot, but then it’s sitting rather low. I know that sounds like a big negative, but I’ve noticed this on a lot of tripods with tall center shafts so I’m not dropping a star.

Besides this is meant to be a travel tripod and this WAY out shines its faults. Overall, understanding how to use this tripod will allow for ease of use. And its ridiculously small form and light weight make it an unbelievable travel companion that I am VERY happy I purchased.

I look forward to taking longer trips with it in my pack and almost forgetting it’s even there.

I bought this to replace my 3-legged thing I bought a year ago. The 3-legged thing tripod has lost several components, including the weight hook under the center column. The worst is the center column can be accidentally pulled off and can never be put back properly again.

I choose this model for its light weight, which is barely over 2 lbs. Also, it has an excellent price. The first impression when opened the box is its surprising robust construction, very sturdy. I knew it is short, that I planned to use it with waist level finder on my medium format camera and the angle finder on my Leica.

It is what I wanted, but after opened it, I think a little taller could be better. Its weight is slightly heavier than I thought. It does match the spec, but I just realized that my 3-legged thing is about 1 pound lighter.

So, if you want something really light weight, get the carbon fiber version. And better yet, get a taller model from this manufacturer. Overall, I am very happy about this manufacturer for its quality.

ButI recommend to get the taller and carbon fiber version. No, I would not return it or make exchange. It is more than good enough for me.

Great little tripod wish legs were slightly easier to adjust like Vangard models. Decent price. I have put two big back country deer hunts on it with 15×56 Binoculars. Performed flawlessly. Breaks down perfectly for standard western hunting backpack.

Used it one day at -10° with no issues.
