There are many types of work boots available on the market, but pull-on work boots are a specific type of boot that is designed to be easy to put on and take off. These boots are usually made with a slip-on style design and often have a loop or handle on the back to help you pull them on.
Pull-on work boots are typically made from a durable material such as leather or rubber and are often reinforced in the toe and heel area to provide extra protection from wear and tear. Many pull-on work boots are also waterproof to keep your feet dry and comfortable in wet or muddy conditions.
While pull-on work boots are available in a variety of different styles and sizes, they are most commonly seen in a mid-calf or ankle-length design.

The Duratread outsole is heavy duty, and capable of resisting oil on slippery surfaces. Ariats exclusive 4LR technology promotes the utmost comfort with the four layer footbed, while a lightweight shank promotes stability.
These boots can be worn day after day and easily keep up with your active lifestyle for years to come.
This marks my 3rd pair of Ariat boots. They’re my 3rd pair because I’m addicted to boots not because the other ones wore out. I have to say this particular pair is my favorite. They are by far the most comfortable yet they give your foot the support that’s needed to complete tasks around your property.
My feet do not fatigue after wearing these for 12 hours. The materials used in them are top notch. If your doing chores or putting in hours on the clock these boots are up for it. Heck, they look so good that I even wear them when I’m going out on the town.
Only time I wouldn’t wear these boots is if I was running frequently; if that were the case I’d look for a boot with laces. As far as the sizing goes, I typically wear a regular width 9. 5 maybe a 10 sometimes in most tennis shoes.
When it comes to Ariat boots I need to size down by a 1/2 size. A size 9 in these fit me perfectly with normal socks. If you’ve never owned a pair before I would recommend going to a retailer and trying a pair of any Ariats on first to verify the sizing.
They’re sizing is consistent from boot model to boot model. I’ve had these for three weeks now and have worn them every day. I know it’s extremely early in their life but absolutely no complaints at this time.
I love my Ariat, but for some reason this specific style required a longer break-in time than my WorkHog XT Work Boots and my Big Rig Work Boots. Both of those required almost no break-in period. With the WorkHog Work Boots unfortunately I had to wear only for a few hours then switch to other work shoes until they were fully broken in which was far more of a hassle.
For reference I walk a guaranteed 7,500-10,000 to steps a day on concrete, gravel, and climbing ladders. In general Ariat will last me a little over a year (1 year, 2 or 3 months) before the sole starts to really show wear and the liner will rip.
The Timberland Pros I used to use prior to switching to Ariat would start to have the sole separate from the shoe at about the 6 month mark, and cloth liner would wear through and absolutely ruin the foam beneath before the 1 year mark.
The Merrells before that started to have issue with the soles between 4-6 months. In my experience the Ariat work boots have been significantly more durable for only a little bit higher upfront cost.
I can honestly say that this is easily the biggest letdown on a pair of Ariat boots. I have a pair over 5 years old that are in better shape than these after 3 weeks of moderate to “light” heavy work.
I am a pest professional, so needless to say I’m not putting these through the craziest conditions by any means but after 3 weeks the soles are already falling apart. Kinda ridiculous considering the price you charge for these.
Will probably try other products after this. Ariat used to be my go to brand, now they are slipping. Good luck. One final note, I really hope the waterproof capabilities of these boots doesn’t become compromised, that will definitely answer my question on whether or not your boots are even worth buying anymore.
Timberland pros are terrible boots, having these same problems. You two should never be in the same sentence, and now your products are comparable. Thats bad.

I’ve tried a lot of different boots… all have had one issue or another. I love lace ups, but they are too time consuming when you’re on the go. So, I’ve been trying out pull on boots. If you get a boot that’s too high they are a bear to get off, and the inner lining tends to break down… then they’re REALLY hard to get off.
This boot is great. Only 10 inches high – goes on and (more importantly) comes off easily. They’re durable and give excellent front end (toe) protection. They take a bit of breaking in, but once you break them in, they’re pretty comfortable.
After wearing these for 8 months, I bought two more pair. I’m done searching for the best boot (at this price point) – I’ve found it.
I usually wear a different brand of work boot from a company that made the boots that I wore while in the Military. I was looking for an alternative to lace up boots that were NOT western boot style.
These pair were my third try, and I really like them. Comfortable for my 10 hour work days, and look good in jeans, even with the safety toe. I do have to wear calf high socks because they rubbed a little too much on my calves, but otherwise very comfortable.
I’ve been super impressed with these boots already. I did read one review that these boots began to have a bad smell after only a couple weeks. I put my new boots on a boot/wader dryer every night after wearing them and haven’t had an odor issues out of them after 2 months of regular wear.
With the men’s Dan Post Blayde safety toe waterproof pull-on work boot, you get subtle western style in a work boot made with quality materials. The Journeyman is ready for work. Reaching 11 inches in height, this boot has a waterproof saddle tan premium leather upper with subtle decorative stitching, bringing attention to the Dan Post Western heritage.
Pull straps help with foot placement; a panel containing kickoff plugs at the heel assist with removal. Cement construction affixes the upper to the outsole, with a security stitch at the broad square toe.
This stitch reinforces construction and extends the wear time of these boots. A lightweight and durable dual-density rubber outsole also is oil, heat and slip-resisting. Inside the boot is a fabric lining containing a waterproof membrane that makes the interior comfortable and keeps feet dry.
Meeting ASTM standards for impact and compression is a steel toe cap that helps protect toes from dropped objects and rollover. And this boot also is electrical hazard resisting. Feet rest upon a removable, breathable and washable orthotic footbed, which also is comfortable.

Bought these as a Christmas gift to self. Wore them to work in the oilfield day after Christmas. Early January 2022 was on a job in the rain feeling warm n toasty until my left heel began to feel wet, sure enough the boot was leaking.
I was honestly loving these boots in spite of the leak, rather rapidly the inner left heel began to cant downward making the left boot a nuisance and uncomfortable also throwing my 61 year old body out of alignment.
I’ve been wearing work boots singe age 14, 47 years and have never had this kind of failure with a pair of work boots. This is the very 1st pair of Dan Post boots I’ve ever owned, been wearing Western style boots since before I can remember.
My backup pair of another brand name are back to work while waiting for the new boots ordered a few days ago. Not seeing the option to post photos so people can see how the inside of the left has collapsed or something the whole boot is titled.
This is my second pair after returning my first ones the shank and both boots on the first pair came loose so every time I took a step you would feel the shank move in sole! Also on the first pair the lining came loose on the left boot and it was a pain to try to get my foot out!! Now on my second pair the left boot the shank has came loose again! I’ve never worn boots where the shank has come loose! For spending $200 and been through two pairs already in the matter of three weeks it’s kind of annoying! Guess they don’t craft boots like they use too! I have a pair of Dan post boots that are about 10 years old and those were the best boots I’ve ever owned I don’t know what happened but it seems like the craftsmanship has definitely went downhill!.
The boots are comfortable while I’m wearing them, it’s just trying to get the darn things off that has made it impossible for me to wear them. The inside insulation is coming out of the boot & it wraps around my foot when attempting to get them off.
I’ve spent 20 minutes standing beside my car when leaving work trying to get these boots off my foot so I can go home. My legs are so dang sore from pulling & pulling. After getting them off my feet I’ve been barely able to lift my legs to get my other shoes on that I wear home.
Until I can cut out the insulation that’s keeping my foot from coming out, I will be wearing an old pair of boots I have in order to keep from going through what I have been trying to get them off my feet.
It’s just not worth the trouble for me. Hopefully soon I will have enough money to go back & buy Ariats, which I know I can get off my foot. If the insides weren’t coming out I would continue to wear these but, it’s unfortunate cause they are extremely comfortable.

The rubber sole is strong and durable, and the midsole is made from a special composite material that reduces weight and delivers exceptional all-day comfort. A steel shank in the midsole ensures extra support and stability.
UltraDry waterproofing helps keep your feet dry in wet weather.
First let me say, I have as flat feet as flat feet can get. With that being said, the insoles take a beating but they take it well. Secondly, I’ve had these boots for two years and as expected, the heel liner has torn and am gonna get it repaired.
But that’s to be expected since I’m a heavy equipment mechanic. The outer leather over the toes is torn, cut, etc. And they are still waterproof. Don’t listen to the pepe that bash these boots just because they are part of the few that just happened to get “the lemons”.
Manufacturing is never perfect. Love these boots and will never buy any other brand. I prefer these over Ariat any day.
I’ve been at the same job for over 20 yrs, These have held up the longest, almost a year. They are very comfortable, I can wear them all day without any issues I’m an aircraft mech, I do a lot of walking on concrete, scaffolding, walking up and down stairs, bending squatting crawling over concrete, metal and skid resistant surfaces.
Toes and soles take a beating. No problems with seams. Wear on toes can show up after a couple days of work. I also use boots for hunting, fishing, all around house work. Theses boots are priced the same as competition and are made of better quality materials.
I have not had a boot last longer then 3 months until these. I started ted wearing them as a gravedigger, dealing with water and dirt, they stood up for a year. Only thing that happened was the sole cracked in the middle, pushing a shovel down everyday was the cause, but the boot still held up for a year.
Now in construction again, electrical work, fourth pair, walking at least 4 miles a day, boots are still great after a year. Only thing that went bad was the shoe insert pad. I buy the boot insert for my low arch when i buy the boots new.
Love these boots! No foot pain, helps with lower back pain also. Sole is still good, wear is typical for my rough work conditions. Lasting longer then 12 months, well worth the price for me. I would spend more by buying new boots every three months.
And not having to go shopping is a big plus for me. I also like not lacing up, slip them on, and go to work. I also found that if i do not oil them, helped. Let them wear in naturally, stiff for a week, then I’m good.
These Western Pull-ons use the best quality leather and a rugged no-nonsense outsole to keep you going strong all day. With shock-absorbing multi-density cushioning on the inside to keep foot aches and pains a distant memory.
Got the boots in, tried them on. Was immediately concerned I’d ordered the wrong size. Wore the boots around the house a couple hours and they felt better. Now a week plus after purchasing, they fit perfect.
Easy on,easy off and not to loose. I walk a lot at work and they broke in fast. This is a good darn good boot for the price. They are very water resistant in the rain, and even in constant soaking my feet were dry.
We’ll see how the materials hold up to wear and tear. I’m very hard on shoes and even expensive boots take a beating and need re-soling after 6 months. Now that I have a semi-office/warehouse spot these should do me well.
And I got compliments on the looks of the boot. People were surprised when I told them they were Guide Gear and not a super high priced boot. Get your size, wear them around and they should break in. Definitely make sure you have polish and mink oil ready, they do scuff easy.
1st pair of cowboy boots. I usually buy mid-top construction style boots and leave the laces loose so I can slip them on. In the 3 weeks that I’ve had these, the first few days it felt like my feet were slipping around a little inside but after that I must’ve worn a spot in the insoles because now they don’t slide around at all.
These are easy on and off and I can wear my jeans on the inside or outside of the boots. They don’t have much support side to side (next time I through a football around I’ll wear actual shoes) but the tread is better than most boots I’ve looked at and just as nice as my construction boots.
I really like these boots and they clean up real nice too. If I kept the farm off them they would work well for dressing up too.
My dad got a pair of these boots just shy of 12 years ago I believe. He aint doin as much outdoors stuff and since I was wearing them HE decided to just let me have them now. Let me tell yall, these boots are phenomenal.
Very supportive and Comfortable. Always keep my feet fresh feeling and I wear them just abt everywhere. Also, Totally waterproof. Ill go fishin and stand just up to the well of the boot and no water leakage anywhere.
When you need a reliable all-purpose work boot, the Justin Original Work Boots 11″ Driscoll Toe ST will keep you going if the job gets tough. This heavy-duty boot features a full-grain leather upper that protects from hazardous work conditions and inclement weather.
It also is built on a durable Vibram Commander outsole, which offers slip, oil, chemical and abrasion resistance. A steel shank under the insole delivers torsional rigidity and superior arch support to reduce overall foot fatigue, while the Ortholite insole provides all-day comfort and cushioning.
For added protection, the square steel toe keeps wearers safe from dropped loads and heavy impact.
I picked these boots up a month ago and for the money I’m not impressed. I wear these everyday and they were comfortable. for the first month. I found that the dye in the leather wore out within the first two weeks.
I ended up re-dying the leather myself. At three weeks in the lining of one of the boots separated making it extremely difficult to take the boot off and very uncomfortable to wear. The supports in the heel don’t stay in place and the liner bunches up as I walk.
For the price I would have expected these to last at least a year. I would not recommend purchasing these particular boots.
I really like these boots. They were comfortable right out of the box. I like that the upper part of the boot is really soft leather. I have stepped into deep water with them and they are waterproof.
I like that i can rinse them off if they get muddy too. I looked around at every boot store in town and i couldnt find a better deal for a good pair of steel toe work boots, I didnt even realize that Academy had western boots but i will keep coming back when i need a new pair but i expect these to last a long time.
These are the second pair of Justin boots I have bought in the past 2 months. I purchased a pair from the store and realized they were leaking (I work in the sewers. WET conditions!). I took them back and exchanged them for a pair of these, since they’re advertised as waterproof.
Now, these boots are very comfortable to me, but working out in the snow/rain during the afternoon I realized that they have a leak on the left boot at the steel-toe where your big toe is (cold water hitting your warm feet is very noticeable).
The Justin boots I had prior to this pair leaked right at the edge of the steel-toe along the base of the sole. I plan on attempting to seal this leak up, but if I can’t I’m taking them back and exchanging them for a pair of Rocky’s.

I broke down and bought a pair of these boots less than 6 months ago and they are already falling apart. Rubber heel is already starting to peel away from the leather, stitching is coming apart at the zipper, and the heel is rubbing holes in every sock I own.
I work from the office most of the days with occasionally going out in the field a couple times a day and wearing them if we were to go out to eat. Not to mention they started out pretty comfortable but quickly wear the sole out.
Due to arthritis, I bought these in hopes they would be easier to put on than my lace up boots. No such luck. They are quite hard to pull on. Hopefully they will loosen up with time. The pull loops at the top of the boots irritate my legs so that I’ll have to buy longer socks or stuff my pants leg into them – not a fashionable look to say the least.
My husband had a pair of these boots and kept wearing them until they looked as if they should have been in the trash. I gave him a new pair for Christmas and he really liked them a lot. There were a few minor changes from his.
He likes the way they look and feel. Very pleased.
When you demand Safety and Comfort at work, this classic pull on delivers what you need. Redback steel toe work boot is crafted with an accommodating toe box which houses Redback ASTM F2413-11 certified steel toe cap to keep you safe day in and day out.
Wear and tear shouldn’t happen to your body so Redback meet that head on with Redback Anatomic Support system which cradles the arch of the foot to prevent foot sagging and related leg and back pains.
Finished off with a direct attached soling system where the leather is fused to the midsole this construction process produces a boot so light you would think you were wearing steel toe slippers.
Verdict is still out on the boots. But they seems good. However, the sizing is a pain. But the suggested appropriate size, and they were like wearing clown shoes. Returned them for one size down, and they are darn near too small.

DSW MY HUSBAND LOVES THESE BOOTS! You’ve done it again!! !.
Carhartt is a quality brand. But I haven’t found Carhartt shoes instore at DSW. So, I ordered these online. These high-top/half-boot slip-ons are comfortable, stylish knockaround shoes that I enjoy wearing year-round, especially on the weekends when I’m out running errands.
During the spring & summer, I’ve worn these w/both jeans & shorts. I like the hip cream-colored bottoms & the forward- & rear-wrapping soles that provide reinforced toes & heels for greater durability.
The design of the lower portion of the boots provides good cushioning for standing/walking & gives this 5’9″ guy a little extra desired height. I was pleased that Carhartt offered these in a wide width.
However, I was still forced to order them 1/2-size larger than normal to accommodate my wide feet. I hope Carhartt will consider offering boots like these in extra-wide widths in the future.
Are these as comfy as a pair of slippers? No! But they are a great pair of casual work boots. They are firm and supportive…and light. They run true to size. They have a traction tread on the sole – not a smooth soft-sole, and they “lean” a little forward, making a walk across the warehouse or the parking lot a welcome activity! They appear to be put together pretty well, I expect to get some miles out of these boots.
Justin Boots believe in continuing tradition and that is reflected in the durable, comfortable, authentic western and work boots they create. These mens tan work boots feature a rubber wedge sole, premium leather, and soft toe.
DURANGO offers a men’s 11″H pull-on western boot with steel toes, finger holes, and pull straps. The all-leather upper also features a lightweight mesh liner, removable ventilated footbed, EVA midsole, rubber outsole, and tempered steel shank for stability and arch support.
The protective square toe cap is larger than a standard toe cap and provides more room for your toes to flex and bend. Nonmetallic design helps reduce the possibility of marking or scratching work surfaces.
One of the oldest constructions and regarded as very sturdy and durable. The welt (a strip of leather or plastic) is stitched to the upper and midsole. The outsole is then attached with adhesive to the bottom and may also be stitched through the welt.
Note: This footwear is designed to provide secondary protection from incidental contact with live electrical circuits. It meets F2413-11 Section 5. 5 requirements and is tested to resist the application of 18,000 volts at 60 Hz for 1 minute with no current flow in excess of 1 milliampere under dry conditions.
It should not be worn in explosive or hazardous areas where conductive footwear is required.
I got these boots 2 going on 3 years ago and hate that it’s time for new ones. These boots have been my go to for almost 3 years in the oil and gas industry, but these arent just for work. Any time I leave the house these are on my feet 9 times out of 10.
Pros. -Light weight. It blows my mind how a work boot can be this light. 1 pound. Seriously? -comfort. -durable Con. -feet get cold. But I live in ND its -30°f wearing uninsulated boots? Not the boots fault.
I bought these for my husband at Christmas2016 because it was one of the 2 things he asked for!!! See he had gotten his first pair of these over 5 years ago when he needed them for work BC of the steel toe! Well once he put them on for the first time he was in love!!! They were the ONLY BOOTS HE EVER WORE!!!! And he had other “so called NICER BOOTS! BUT HE WOULD NOT WEAR THEM!!!! SO AFTER 5 YEARS OF CONSTANT WEAR HE NEEDED A NEW PAIR!!! HE TOLD ME HE WOULD ONLY WEAR THE EXACT SAME ONES!!! SO I BETTER FIND THEM LOL! SO LUCKLY I DID!!! SNEEKLY I ALSO GOT HIM A PAIR OF THE REBEL BOOTS THE AMERICAN FLAG BOOTS WITH THE CLEAR SOAL!! FOR CASUAL/DRESSY NON WORK BOOTS!!! HE LOVED THEM ASLO!!!! AS A MATTER OF FACT I LIKED THEM SO MUCH ALSO THAT IM GETTING ME THE WOMENS AMERICAN FLAG BOOTS TOO!!! AND THATS SAYING ALOT BC I ONLY WEAR BOOTS!! AND USUALLY WEAR ARIAT OR JUSTIN BRAND BOOTS!!!! AND I’M ALSO GETTING BOTH MY BOYS AGES 4&12 THE REBEL AMERICAN FLAG CLEAR SOAL BOOTS TOO!!! WHEN I GET MINE I’LL WRITE ANOTHER REVIEW FOR THEM!!!! ALSO I ORDERED BOTH PAIR ON A MONDAY AND THEY WERE HERE BY WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS AT NO EXTRA CHARGE!!!! THANKS DURANGO!!! WE WILL NOW BE LIFE LONG CUSTOMERS FROM HERE ON OUT!!!!.
I bought these boots online having worn out my Ariat Workhog Comp Toes (Which I Highly Recommend). Wanting to try another product and look these seemed to fit the genre at a decent price. I’ve now worn the boots for three days (Work in Construction Management so lots of walking).
The toe is extra skinny for a “D” which creates a sore outside big toe. The upper leather is stiff and angled forward to where it rubs on the calf and creates a raspberry. There is also lots of heel slippage which is not comfortable to walk in.
Still waiting for them to “Break In” but have my doubts they will. Customer service is not very helpful in for returns and there is no comfort guarantee so I’m stuck with the boots. I would not recommend these boots.
When you need a wellington, the Cartwright goes the extra mile. With our exclusive composite safety toe, you have extra depth, adding comfort to your day. A waterproof membrane keeps you dry and the TPU kick toe and molded kickoff heel add durability to the life of your boot.
This boot has a puncture-resistant plate built into the midsole to give you extra protection.
I like this boot, looks good and sturdy. I’m only problem is it’s a little narrow and so squeezes my feet. I have a stretcher in it and hope it will be more comfortable. Sorry I have really big feet, long and wide, made to walk on water.
Mahalo for having one that is close to fitting, after the stretch it should be good to go.
Finally a pair of wellingtons that actually fit my calf. I have never found a single pair that would. The safety toe cap is also much nicer, no more digging into the sides of my pinky and big toes. The sole is very hard rubber and is terrible in packed snow/ice, but they aren’t advertised as a winter boot.
I have no idea how the boot will hold up over time yet, but I hope they do.
This boot looks great at first. Width is truth as well as length. However, the heel feels like it’s not there. It feels as though I am standing out of the boot. So much so that each step feels like the boot is falling off.
The heel needs to be at least another 1. 5†deep. I will have to return.
The Rocky Long Range Men’s 12″ Steel Toe Waterproof Pull-On Boot 6654 features The Long Range X outsole system of 10 peak performance enhancements that prioritizes your stability, safety and comfort in every step.
This 12-inch boot was built to withstand the tests of trails and time, made from Goodyear welt construction and triple-stitched for added durability. This tough western work boot sits atop a sturdy Long Range heel, which lets you tromp on tirelessly without worrying about whether or not your boot will be in one piece by the time you get home.
Don’t let another opportunity for a challenging project slip by because of your boot lacks strength. If you can do it, so should your footwear. Safety is certain in this men’s pull-on work boot. It meets both the ASTM F2413 protective toe classification and electrical hazard standard.
It’s a steel toe boot with a square toe that’s sure to have you feeling fully protected. You can focus less on risks of the trade and more on your experience while wearing this thoughtfully designed work boot.
I have worn these boots since ’13 & they do not disappoint. They handle the ever changing conditions in the patch: hot & dry to wet & muddy, diesel, oil, grease. they wear well. They break in pretty easy & the great part is they don’t stretch out like other boots do.
They are in fact waterproof & it last. they pair I’m replacing actually has a crack where the boot bends & it still keeps my feet dry.
This boot is far and away the best boot I’ve come across. I’m a big guy and the square steel toe fits more comfortable than any round does for my elephant foot. Now that doesn’t come with a price. I mean to tell you that like all of the truly best boots, the break-in is one of the most miserable experiences you’ll ever have, which for me is about 3 weeks.
Keep in mind even with a 12-wide I still have to get them stretched. But after the pain, you’ll be in heaven. I sincerely hope that this boot stays is production for a long, long time. And Rocky, if you do read this, I only say the following due to the business nature of the products you sell: This boot ain’t broke, don’t go trying to fix it.
Usually the only reviews I do are bad ones, but i’ll make an exception here. Rocky makes the most-comfortable slip-on work boot I’ve ever worn. There really isn’t any more that needs to be said. Their quality seems to be on par with any other manufacturer, so it really comes down to fit and finish.
I’ve had several different brand boots – Ariat, Justin, RedWing, Timberland, Cheap Boots, Wolverine. Georgia. I always come back to Rocky – usually before the other boots are more than a couple months old.
The Conductor Pullon Brown 10-inch tall men’s work boot brings simple comfort and class to the job. Its golden brown exterior is crafted from quality leather that offers durability for extended wear.
Its Double Comfort System utilizes revolutionary new orthotic inserts that work directly with the Orthotic Texon /PORON Insole for support and lasting comfort throughout the day. The durable polyurethane slip resisting outsole meets ASTM F2892-11 for electrical hazard safety footwear standards.
I have had them for a week now and they are what I wanted. Comfortable however, the boots rub 1 ankle and I can’t figure out why. They are my size size 8, and I love the boots. I love them so much though that I threw out my old ragged boots.
I had holes in them, and the lining inside another pair ripped so I have no other boots to accomadate my ankle. It is only 1 ankle. I do have 3 good ones 😉 feet feel fine just my dang blasted 1 ankle.
I do admit it is nerve wracking. LMBO, I mean really of all things to hurt it has to be 1 ankle. I would by nothing but Justin Boots, matter of fact I have second pair picked out. Sorry if this is winded but I do love my boots, andante I can stretch that 1 ankle and stop the rubbing.
I will only get my boots at Tractor Supply. Thanks for your time & Best Regards, John.
Abilene Boots Style# 2104 – Made in the USA 1 1/2in Western Heel 12 Inches Tall Medium Toe Rubber Outsole – Abilene keeps the tradition of making western boots in America alive and well. These mens cowhide cowboy boots feature a 1 1/2in western heel medium toe and rubber outsole.
With their market proven styles they are sure to please the western boot lover.
my boots arrived and considering the distance between us they arrived in good time. i was a bit concerned about ordering boots online especially as it was unlikely i could send them back due to shipping costs.
i needn’t have worried. they fit like they were made for me. i would say they are a bit larger than the size that they are meant to be but really its not a problem. they look too good to wear to work! i have a foot condition- plantar fasciitus.
these boots help no end and will ease my work day. yes i would recommend these boots. thank you sheplers.
I just received my third pair. The first pair was intended to be a trial for work, (steel toes mandatory). Liked them enough I bought a second pair for the bike, great traction on slick roads. Wore the first pair out after about 14 months & had them resoled.
My work enviornment has chemicals & petroleum products that will stain & lose any waterproofing system available to man. So, with winter coming. I ordered my third pair. Great lightweight goodlooking boots.
I ordered 1/2 size bigger to accomadate for heavy wool socks.

I purchased my size despite everyone saying not to. Lengthwise it felt oK, my heels were even a bit loose. The problem is in the toe box; my toes can’t quite lay flat, they kind of scrunch up together which is very uncomfortable.
Plus because my heels are a bit loose, my socks bunch up around my toes which I hate. Maybe a double wide shoe would have been better. On the plus side I really do like the slip on feature, it’s why I bought these in the first place.
Oil-resistant all-around bumper guard. Full-grain leather molds to your foot shape. High performance fabric mesh lining offers dry comfort, durability. Covered cushion insole & EVA midsole for comfort working wear.
I bought this boot last month. Very high quality leather. A little stiff but is breaking in nicely. I have a small farm with wet conditions so this boot is perfect. Very comfortable. I mainly bought this boot because it can be resoled and the reviews on Georgia boot were very positive.
This is the first time I have bought Georgia boot. I have usually bought Ariat, Wolverine, Red Wings and Tony Lama. I am tired of buying good boots only to find out they are trash after the soles are worn off or the glue separating.
These boots (Georgia Giant Wellingtons) can be resoled by a cobbler and should last a lifetime with proper care. After throwing away two pair of RedWing Boots because the soles are separating because they are glued and cannot be resoled, I am now a Georgia Boot customer.
The Rocky Duty 10 Inch Pull On Wellington 6300 is made from a full grain and water resistant leather and 1000 Denier Cordura upper. The inside of the boot is lined with Cambrelle for additional comfort, durability and moisture control.
The boot features a lightweight and durable BobCat PU outsole is self-cleaning and provides good grip. The Direct attached construction makes this boot flexible for all of your needs. Whether standing long hours on your feet or patrolling, this boot is ideal for you to add to your working gear.
These are a good looking and comfortable boot , however this is probably my fourth pair that seems to be throwaway boot. I usually wear a boot like this maybe 20 times in a year. I had two pair of Blunnys that I bought in Australia and after light usage the soles began to decompose.
When I spoke with a representative at Bludstone they told me I had to wear them more often to keep the rubber in good shape. Then about four years I bought a pair Thorogood boots , looked good felt fine , then this year the soles completely decomposed and literally fell off of the boot.
I contacted the powers that be and was told the boots cannot be resoled because they are glued on. Throw away. I decided to get a boot that can be resoled and was interested in your Rocky boots because the sole appears to be sewn on.
When I received the boots I wore them a couple times until my wife told me the stitches were actually just molded rubber and I had once again bought a throwaway boot. No recommend.
Bought these for motorcycle boots. They function well and are a great value at their low Tractor Supply price. The good ankle movement range allows me to shift gears and brake effortlessly. The soles are very stable on wet and dry pavement.
Don’t have to worry about the sole slipping off of the foot pegs either. The size was right on the money and the pickup at Tractor Supply went smoothly. Whether you are a cop, paramedic, or firefighter these boots are very comfortable and won’t wreck your feet by the end of your shift.
Justin Gaucho Tan Work Boots Justin Boots are American-made and have been an important staple in Western wear since 1879. They have a commitment to quality country footwear that is perfect for the modern worker.
The Gaucho Tan Boots feature Justin’s new technology to add extra comfort with every step. The technology still features the classic Double Comfort System, but it also adds the J-Max removable orthotic insert with Justin Jel, as well as a mesh spacer footbed cover.
Extreme Comfort for Your Working Feet The Justin Jel insert provides additional comfort to prevent foot fatigue, pain, or strain. It’s a multi-density polyurethane footbed and low-density foam that is meant to keep your foot cushioned and return energy during walking, which reduces muscle fatigue and skeletal impact stress.
The air cells prevent the insert from losing bounce. It’s designed to continue adding support for the entire life of the boot. With the Dri-Lex cooling technology, your feet stay cool as the boots stay breathable, so you don’t have to worry about moisture buildup.
A Rugged and Durable Look These boots stand apart from others, thanks to their unique, worn-in appearance. With the distressed design and comfort insole, these work boots will feel and look like an old friend from the first time you wear them.
They also feature a deep scallop collar and soft round toe to give them a bold look that both complements the distressed design and adds to the boot’s uniqueness and style. Strong and Powerful Outsole The outsole, crafted from J-Max polyurethane with elastomer heel and forepart pads, is the reason these working boots are great for just about every environment and surface.
They help prevent slipping and marking. Go from working outside in the sun or rain to relaxing inside for a good meal without needing to change your shoes. Just make sure you wipe your feet first.
I’ve been wearing Justin original work boots for years. Tried another USA brand of boot recently but I came back to Justin’s. These boots require very little break in. Long days without sore feet is a bonus with these boots.
I have both 6 and 8 inch versions. Very good quality. I wish you had more options like a composite toe or a vibram type sole. Keep making these in the USA Justin and I will keep buying them. Thanks Justin for making my favorite work boot.
Product Description Easy on, easy off. The Bolduc was designed with a rounded toe and relaxed fit to maximize comfort and improve breathability throughout the day. If you’re a welder or truck driver, you’ll love the freedom of never having to deal with laces again.
But don’t be fooled – this boot is durable and ready to keep you comfortable, dry, and protected all day long.
While I only gave it 3 stars (I’ll explain) it is a really comfortable boot. I’ve been through every brand and every price point in the 25 years that I’ve been wearing work boots and these one are up there in the top 3 so far.
Very comfortable, almost no break in and my feet don’t hurt at the end of the day. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it is a pretty roomy boot, almost to roomy. I went down a half size like most reviewers said and it’s still pretty big and slides on my heels quite a bit.
Not a deal breaker and something I can live with. The other reviewers also said the pull tabs on the side were rubbing their leg raw. I didn’t think much about it until it happened to me within the first hour of wearing the boots.
Extremely painful. I think that Brunt should sew the pull tabs on first and THEN sew the liner over it so it keeps the leather and thread (which Is ver rugged btw) away from your skin. I ended up getting mole skin and lining that part of the boot to stop the pain.
The only other thing I noticed is the left boot, where the sole meets the leather, seems to have been skipped over in quality control. It was separated a little right out of the box and it doesn’t look like it was sewn all the way around the heel area.
The boot is water proof still and it doesn’t seem to be causing any issues. I travel a lot for work (on the road now) so it makes sending the boots back very difficult for an exchange and I need boots for work so I can’t afford to be without them.
In all honesty I’m glad I bought them, they are very comfortable and seem to be well built except for the one issue I wrote about.
I didn’t want to review boots in a box so I’ve waited a week or two before submitting this. I seen the Facebook ad and just got tired of dropping 300. 00 for boots that lasted 6 months so took a chance and ordered the slip on version.
They came wonderfully packaged as if I bought from a store. Shipping was about a week or so for me. I applied the mink oil right outta the box and it darkened the finish a bit. As with all leather products they were a bit stiff at first but were true to size.
I worried they weren’t gonna be wide enough. My worries were for nothing cause they are perfect. I can’t speak for the longterm longevity as they’ve only been on my feet for 3 weeks but they are comfy.
The insoles are very cushioned and my feet have stayed dry in wet conditions. The ease of sliding the boots on and off my feet and my foot locking into the boot has remained good so far and my knee pain from standing on concrete has disappated.
All in all I would definitely recommend giving these boots a shot and watching your own transformation from skeptic to believer.
So far, so good! I have only had these boots a couple of weeks but so far they are really comfortable, the waterproofing seems legit, the leather seems to be good quality, and they look good. I was concerned at first that they were going to cause blisters due to some minor heel lift and rubbing at the ankle areas but that worked itself out and is no longer an issue.
I have been wearing Chippewa Edgewalkers the past couple of years which are extremely comfortable but they tend to wear quickly which is why I decided to try the Bolducs. I can’t say they are quite as comfortable as the Chippewa boots but they are pretty close once they break in some.
I haven’t had them long enough to make any judgments on their longevity but they seem to be well built and I have no reason to believe they won’t last as long as any other decent brand of boot I’ve owned and I have tried them all.
I would definitely suggest giving them a try. If you don’t care for them Brunt seems to stand by their products and offer a 30 day return policy even after you wear them on the job so really you have nothing to lose by trying them.
