20 Best Protein Powder To Add To Coffee (2022 Updated)

Bought the Chips Ahoy flavor and this by far is one of the best flavored proteins I’ve had. I’m a young guy (19) and I’ve mainly had muscle milk, core life elites, and other random protein shakes. Yes there is random bits of chips ahoy in the actual powder so you can’t separate it (but why would you want to do that when the reason you bought the flavor was for the chips ahoy?) And it does provide for weird moments of drinking it and sometimes swallowing bits without chewing on them.

Now the bits aren’t like you are gonna choke on it and die, they are just like crumbs so you can actually feel when they hit the back of your throat and go down so be careful when drinking this if you have a bad gag reflex.

The bits also cause moments where you finish your shake, but then you look into your shaker or cup and see some chocolate chips that sunk to the bottom. See it however you want but I took it as a tiny treat for after my shake.

Overall kinda taste like milk after you dunk chips ahoy into it, not exactly that taste, but still pretty solid overall. The times I’ve taken the shake it isn’t very chalky like muscle milk can be but that might also just be how you like your shakes consistency.

I’ve went through containers of both Oreo and nutter butter and they were the worst protiens I’ve ever had. The hype of the brand initially got me I saw stuff of people saying it tasted so good and all the branding seemed legit.

When i say these protiens are disgusting I mean it. I used to have to plug my nose and chug it and would gag after. They are so thick even with water. The orea and nutter butter don’t taste like Oreo or nutter butter and they smell disgusting and they taste like vomit.

I would save your money. Once I tried gold standard and iso100 it seemed like a miracle that not all protien was like that. I recommend iso100 fruity pebbles if you want something like that tastes exactly like it.

I might just be over reacting but even though thinking about drinking the nutter butter one again makes me want to throw up.

This is the first flavour of this brand I’ve had and it’s the best tasting vegan protein powder I’ve ever tried. It’s actually smooth, rather than gritty, which is amazing. And the name really says it all–it tastes *exactly* like a bowl of cocoa puffs.

So much so that it kinda blew my mind when I first tasted it! I don’t actually have much of a sweet tooth personally, so I find the flavour can be a bit overly sweet when I’m not in the mood. But, I plan to try mixing it 50/50 with some other brands of chocolate powder to see if that helps.

And in any case, I will definitely be trying other flavours of this brand. The price is high, but for a protein smoothie I don’t hate drinking every day, I’ll pay it.

This is the only protein powder I’ve tried, as Optimum Nutrition was highly recommended to me as the “gold standard in protein powders” by several weightlifting enthusiast friends of mine. Luckily, the first flavor I tried, Chocolate Malt, ended up being amazingly delicious to me, so I never had to buy and try any others — though they have so many different flavors, I’d like to try some of the ones that sound good, such as the coffee, the vanilla, or the mint chocolate flavors.

Anyway, I use whole milk and drop a spoonful of this whey powder in a Blender Bottle, shake the crap out of it, and enjoy it after lifting. This powder blends REALLY well *with a Blender Bottle*, and I rarely get clumps/bubbles of dry powder.

I tried using a spoon and stirring once, and got tons of clumps. This powder is packed full of protein, as it contains a form of whey that packs more protein per volume when compared to regular whey which some protein powders use, which means you have to use more of those powders to get the same amount of protein as you would with Optimum Nutrition’s.

This product also contains a bunch of the BCAA (branched chain amino acids) that the human body requires after exercise in order to repair/build muscle. The only thing this powder lacks is ingredients for muscle recovery (chiefly, my favorite, L-Glutamine), things regularly found in nighttime/overnight muscle recovery/repair formulas.

This product doesn’t need it, but it would round it out as the perfect after-workout protein powder if it had L-Glutamine in it (but that would be unnecessary if you lift/drink these in the mornings).

Instead, I just add a spoon of pure L-Glutamine powder to my Optimum Nutrition shakes and I’m good to go! Anyway, obviously, I really, really highly recommend this brand, this product by them, and this flavor of whey protein powder for all your “gain” needs — Get those gains!!! 🏋🏻‍♀️.

I’ve been trying to gain weight for about 4 years, being 5”10 and weighting 150 lbs and I was very skinny for my form, I had decided to go hard this time and my gym friend recommended this particular powder over other ones I had been previously trying as he said it had helped people with similar issues to gain weight.

So I started Gym again with this shake (two scoops on a morning on rest days and 2×2 scoops morning and after gym sessions) and within a week started to notice results. Now results wont just come from gym and this shake if you’re like me, I’ve had to stick between 3500 – 5000 calories daily, with high carb high protein foods (as lean as possible meat) and a healthy side of multivitamins.

The result is I gained 11 pounds (5kg) in 4 weeks, which for me was mind boggling. So if you feel it’s extremely hard to gain weight and are looking around, contemplate giving this a try, eat healthy and work out, I can almost promise this will work.

It is hard work though, and it will cost a bit more monthly, but I feel better right now mentally and physically than I ever have in my life.

This is probably one of the 5 reviews that isn’t apart of a promotion lol. This is my first time ever trying whey protein in my life and this surpassed my expectations. I always thought whey protein was chalky and grainy but this is soooooo good and smooth.

When mixed with literally just alsmon milk (200mL 1 scoop of protein) it tastes JUST like Ensure lol. I didn’t even mix it in a blender bottle I just added the milk and protein powder to a water bottle shook it vigorously a few times and wala.

No lumps, grainyness, or chalkiness. It also tastes really good in my berry smoothie. Berry Smoothie: (1 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, 1 cup of frozen blueberries, 1 cup of frozen berry medley, 1 scoop of protein powder) super creamy and delicious.

Its super inexpensive compared to other protein and even though it doesn’t have that many grams of protein its enough for me right now I just started taking it yesterday so I will continue to track how it helps with muscle support and how my body digests it but so far so good! Buy it! Especially if you’re just starting out with protein – its a good way to build yourself up to protein powders that have more grams of protein in it.

I’ve been having this powder for 5 weeks now after starting with the sampler pack and am impressed by a number of things: 1. The powder dissolves well in a shaker, and turns into this nice creamy drink, as opposed to some vegan protein powders that have a sandy texture and a strange aftertaste.

2. As a runner, I have actually noticed a difference in recovery times, particularly after longer runs. It may be too early to tell, but the signs are definitely in the right direction! 3. The protein quality is high, there is minimal sugar and the yield is high.

I’m sure my body is absorbing a high amount as a result. In terms of the flavors themselves: Chocolate (10/10) – rich creamy taste, not sweet, easy to drink. Strawberry (9/10) – I actually liked the taste a bit more but it’s noticeably sweeter and a lower protein yield.

Vanilla (8/10) – I personally thought this was similar to the chocolate but a lot plainer. I would definitely recommend this protein powder, even though it’s a bit more expensive that others in the market.

Just discovered Nuzest Strawberry Pea Protein. Love it! Creamy, and only a little bit of beet root sugar. I can’t tolerate extra stuff or fake sugars (I have SIBO). I’m thankful that I found something so yummy.

I add blueberries/cherries to it, which I hear helps lower glucose. My only complaint is the price :). I got it on overstock, and hope there is a sale when time to reorder. I bought a couple of other flavors, but have not tried them yet.

The other brand also has strong pea taste. I have to add nut butter. Nezest is a step above.

My naturopath was concerned that, because of an allergy to eggs, I did not eat enough protein on a daily basis and suggested I add Just Natural Clean Lean Protein as a high quality anti-allergenic supplement.

It’s not going to taste like a milkshake or extremely chocolate flavor like other brands. I see knocks on the flavor, but flavor to me isn’t worth artificial potentially dangerous ingredients. I don’t need to enjoy my protein shake that much, its gone in 10 seconds.

The flavor isn’t horrible, it’s only noticed if you’re shifting from a very sweet brand/flavor, or if you’re a sweet drink person like soda and juices, chocolate milk, etc. The flavor doesn’t bother me.

I personally only do 1 scoop at a time, 25 grams, thats enough for 1 serving, so really for me its 44 servings. Sometimes Ill mix it with almond milk and its great. In my 20s I didn’t care, but now mid 30s I refuse to drink “artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners” written right on the label.

or “sucrolose” or “aspartame” or “asuflame” no thank you. This is just cane sugar and coco. Theres no fillers if you look at scoop size and protein grams.

I have been using a vegan protein for about 3 months to aid in recovery after workouts and while I am very pleased with its natural taste, the carbs were a bit high and the protein was just not enough for my daily goal of 150g.

I am a female and was contemplating some of the gender targeted whey proteins but was not happy with all of the artificial ingredients added to the majority of them and during my research came across a few reviews for Isopure.

The serving size for the Natural Chocolate is 2 scoops but I typically like around 1. 5 scoops (still only 180 cal with 37. 5g of protein) mixed with around 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk, LOVE the taste.

Coming from a grassier vegan option, this is the perfect balance of sweetness for me. I dont like the overly sweet flavors and really like that the few carbs this does have, come from the cocoa powder, that I can live with.

I have seen other reviews complain about the taste but I assume they may be more accustomed to the sweeter proteins out there. This is my new go to, it feels like I’m drinking a malt not a protein shake.

The bcaas and glutamine are an added bonus! While the price per container seems high, given the serving size I use, I assume I can get at least a month out of the 3lb container which is almost half of what I was paying for the vegan option (I’m not a vegetarian just liked the taste and benefits of greens).

That being said, Nature’s Best has a great reputation for using quality ingredients and knowing exactly what I’m putting in my body is worth the price – I actually think its a good value given the breakdown of the nutrients I’m getting.

As far as the consistency is concerned – no complaints, was very smooth, not too thin, not too thick, definitely didnt clump at all. I imagine it will taste even better blended with ice or a banana but love it on its own as well.

I was lucky that our coop had single serving packets so I could try before committing to a big tub. I recently switched to a plant-based diet and am concerned about my protein levels. 28g per serving is the most I’ve seen and weight loss is an added bonus.

Tried vanilla first with almond milk – did not blend well and was left with a lumpy chalky disaster. “No sugar” but stevia tastes just like the chemical no sugar sweeteners. I had higher hopes for blending w/ almond milk and frozen bananas for my regular smoothie (normally banana, milk, cocoa and PB2 powder) but still unpalatable.

The only way I know it’s chocolate is because if the pale brown color. Otherwise, the vanilla and chocolate are nearly identical with unnatural, sweet chalky taste.

I have tried numerous protein powders over the years and have never encountered one that doesn’t blend well with ice until I tried Garden of Life. This is the 3rd Garden of Life protein powder I have tried (I have previously tried one from the Keto line and one from the Sport line) and none of them blend well with ice.

If you just blend the powder, liquid of choice, and ice, it completely separates into globs of ground ice floating around in a grainy liquid. Not sure why this is. I agree with other reviewers that it has a chalky and gritty taste if only mixed with liquid but find this can be overcome if you add in other ingredients such as fruits, spinach, kale, etc.

On the positive side, the Fit powder definitely curbed my appetite and helped me to stay on track with my nutrition/calorie goals for the day. Finally, great ingredients from a trusted company!.

I love Chike protein coffee. To me, there’s nothing better than caffeine with protein. It’s like knocking two birds out with one stone, PLUS there are so many yummy flavors to choose from! This has become apart of my daily routine and it’s so simple too! Just mix in the scoops with milk or even water and it still tastes amazing! I was a little skeptical about trying a high protein coffee. Protein shakes sometimes tend to have this gritty feeling and that just doesn’t mix well with coffee. But THIS STUFF IS AMAZING! I got the sampler pack to try the different flavors.

This exceeded my expectations by far. The flavors available are : Original, Mocha, Vanilla, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Cinnamon. I have yet to try the chocolate PB and cinnamon but I bet they are amazing too.

I’d have to say the vanilla is my favorite right now, nice and creamy. You can make it with milk or water, but I use unsweetened almond milk mixed in a blender bottle. I love how you can make it many different ways.

It’s great how I can get 20g of protein, only 5g of carbs and 130 calories with the original flavor. The only flaw is that it’s about $34 for only 14 servings. I just wish they would be available in a bigger big.

Love this iced coffee! I was missing my iced coffee in the mornings but couldn’t have the flavored creamers to make it taste good. Now I just add some plain black coffee and ice to one packet and it gives me all the energy and protein I need to start my day without a ton of calories, carbs or fats.

I made a drink with this for the first just now, and it is so horrible that I sat down to write a review. The flavor is nothing like the bottled drinks. (If you read the other reivews you’ll see they say similar things.

) Secondly, it tastes nothing like coffee. I can’t describe what the flavor is other than it’s closer to a french vanilla than anything else. I had to dump some espresso in our large drinks and it still doesn’t taste like coffee.

Lastly, it tastes like a powdered drink, which I realize it is, but good powdered drinks don’t taste this badly.

I love this protein powder for use on the go after my workout or in the morning when I need a little pick me up. I am not a coffee drinker, but I love the smell of coffee so this is a perfect substitute for me.

I love that it also that includes a little extra protein (10g/serving). My favorite way to drink this protein powder is in a smoothie/ blended shake in the morning. It mixes well in a blender bottle if shaken vigorously.

The powder mixes okay when mixed with a fork/spoon, but that’s when I notice chalkiness from the powder. When 1 full scoop is mixed with 8 oz. of water, the color is a light beige/brown. I like to cut my serving in half or increase the liquid when mixing with water alone.

The smell reminds me of an iced vanilla latte, minus all of the artificial ingredients. The clean ingredients are my favorite part of this product! Note that this is pea powder protein and the second ingredient is MCT Oil Powder, which is not for everyone, but I prefer it to whey.

Mixes OK, not great. It just never really mixes completely and can be a bit chalky. I have tried it both hot and cold, mixed into almond milk, hot water, and coffee. I like it best cold with almond milk.

If I have it in a cup of coffee I use just half a scoop and I don’t need to sweeten my coffee as this is pretty sweet. Seems to be well made with good quality ingredients. This 8 oz. tub is quite small, and only contains enough for 9 servings.

At around $35 it’s really pricey in my opinion. At almost $4 a serving (and that doesn’t include the cost of the almond milk or coffee or whatever you use as a base other than water), you could almost go out and get something that someone else makes for you.

It’s good, but I don’t know if it’s $4 per serving good.

I have cut sugar from my diet and I really miss those flavored coffees. We use Iconic protein drinks for my daughters (who have celiac and can’t have gluten) so I wanted to give this a try. This is a fairly dense powder when you open it.

It does mix easily and smells divine. The flavor is nice, maybe a bit too sweet but enjoyable. This is sweetened with monkfruit (my sweetener of choice) and stevia and you can just barely detect the fake sugar taste if you’re used to it.

I think if you were not it would be pretty obvious. This does have a bit of a grainy texture to it, I assume due to the fiber it contains. Takes some getting used to. I am not sure what really makes this “immunity” coffee.

I guess it is the added vitamins. This does have a lot of caffeine in it. one serving is the equivalent of two cups of coffee. I mix this with water but it is really best when blended with almond or coconut milk.

I really enjoy this, but at the price point it has to be an occasional treat for me.

I developed mild gastroparesis back in May and was seriously struggling to even get 400 calories a day. Started losing weight and feeling completely weak from a lack of being able to eat. My husband went to Whole Foods to find me a meal replacement powder that I could add to smoothies to try to get my calories and nutrition up.

Started making 600-700 calorie smoothies every morning using this protein powder and other high-calorie ingredients such as almond butter, hemp seeds, oat milk, etc. Every time I would have this protein powder in a smoothie, I would experience several hours of consistent steady energy.

It helped me to feel a lot better during the day even though I was still not able to eat much at all. A few months later and my symptoms are much improved (so grateful!). Even though i am doing better, I still make a high-calorie smoothie every morning using this protein powder because i feel that it gives me a great nutritional foundation for the day.

When I skip my smoothie and have something else I can feel the difference in my energy levels. Even though im doing better, im hooked on this product because it makes me feel satiated and like i have stable energy for several hours.

It also tastes AMAZING and has never upset my stomach (unlike other powders i have tried!) I highly, HIGHLY recommend this product!.

I LOVE this protein powder and have been using it for a little over a year now. It’s great, works well for me, and is a great price. What I don’t love is their new packaging, it’s messy and I end up wasting product.

The bag doesn’t stand up too well on its own because it’s wide and tall but pretty narrow from the side. It’s also way too tall for my pantry shelves so I have to leave it out on my counter which bothers me.

Also, it’s impossible to not get powder on your hands when scooping down towards the bottom since it is so narrow, then I almost always end up getting some of the powder spilling outside of the bag as I take my two scoops.

I’ve been on my current bag for 2 weeks and there is already powder in the seal so it doesn’t seal completely. All around I’m unsure if I’ll continue ordering this after a year of being a customer because the packaging is just not working for me – I miss the old tubs and wish for sustainability there was a way to go back to them with some sort of recycling/return system for them instead of this new bag!.

I purchased vanilla sweet cream and caramel macchiato. Previously I was using a different companies product but this- supersedes all expectations I had!! It helps to kick start my day with added protein instead of drinking coffee with zero nutritional benefit (aside from caffeine, of course).

Not only do I get more protein in this vs. my old “creamer” but also WAY more cost effective and tasty! I’ll be ordering more once I’m close to being out and probably of all 3 flavors. For dieters who also love tasty coffee, this is amazing.

Recommendation for use IMO differs from the bottle. I pour a little almond milk in my cup, add 1/4-1/2 scoop of the “creamer” and froth, then add coffee. I haven’t tried it in almond milk or water but in a standard coffee cup, I feel like one full scoop would be a bit too much for sweetness.

If you are looking for more ways to incorporate more protein in your diet, and drink coffee every morning this is an amazing selection! I am now starting my day with 20grams of protein just drinking coffee.

Ive tried it in both my hot and iced starbucks coffee. Both came out amazing. No funky protein taste. Read the instructions. I froth mine in almond creamer to blend it well, then add my coffee. I ordered a sample because i was nervous but definitely just placed an order for a larger serving.

I now have tried all flavors iced, frappe style and hot. A. Iced-All prepared using 1 scoop with 8oz of milk. Vanilla Frappe- The taste is well balanced with the coffee and the vanilla flavoring. The coffee flavor is this more pronounced with this flavor.

Caramel Macchiato- I noticed that the caramel flavor is more pronounced then the coffee flavor. IMO not much coffee flavor. Iced Mocha-It has a very mild coffee and chocolate taste. Neither flavor is more pronounced.

B. Frappe Style All prepared with 1. 5 scoops, 10 ounces of milk and blended with crush ice. Vanilla Frappe This is my favorite flavor of the 3. It has a true espresso and creamy vanilla taste to it.

Caramel Macchiato Taste just like a caramel/coffee milk shake. Iced Mocha Again neither flavor didnt stand out much. C. Hot-I prepared both vanilla & caramel with 1 scoop and 6 ounces of hot water. The mocha I used 1.

I bought one Peanut Butter Crunch and one Maple Butter Pancake during the recent Podium Flashsale, because I wanted to try the products and didn’t want to spend the full price per container. Pro’s: + dissolves quickly with water leaving no clumps + well rounded flavor matching the description – I used 10-12oz of water to dissolve + good/ average amount of protein per serving + easily digestable, no bloaty stomach or other problems + nice design and haptic of the containers Con’s: – range of cal per serving varying from 120-150kcal – unusual high amount of carbs/added sugar/flour etc.

in some flavors imo – different serving numbers per package even though same weight and portion spoon size – spoon size declared differently on different flavors – no hanger for spoon (compared to Fuse or Hydro) – even though some think that putting 100% Whey Isolate (even grass-fed) in a product is not cost- effective there are several companies out there how are doing it for a decent asking price.

22-27 servings per package for 45€ regular price, should give you at least a higher percentage of Isolate over concentrage, if not 100% Isolate or at least more servings per package – containers are mostly only filled 3/4 – which produces uncessary plastic waste and is not very sustainable – with the recommended amount of water (8-10oz) the flavors are fairly sweet – not for everybody – maybe even sweeter when using milk Conclusion: Even though I am a fan of Mat and the ButteryBros, with this product, sadly I have to say that you mostly pay for the name.

The selection of flavors offers a good variety, with flavor always being something subjective, but with too many drawbacks imo. Will use them but probably not buy again. Might be good for you if you want your Post-Workout Shake to be a tasty reward coming in fancy flavors, you don’t care too much what is actually in it and are willing to pay for it.

If you are like me and rather go with plain or even boring (natural) flavors (Vanilla, Chocolate, etc. ) with as little as possible (unnessary) fancy stuff but organic good stuff, even sacrificing 1-3g protein per serving and paying a couple bucks more, then this is probably not for you.

The taste of the Coffee Ice Cream is great. Mixes well. Really a fine power. Reminds me of pre-workout consistency. Clouds of whey protein floating all over the place. The only thing that I’m not a big fan of is the Foaming of the Coffee Ice Cream.

My shaker bottle fills up with way too much foam and it doesn’t go away until you rinse the cup out. I also bought the Maple Butter Pancake, and it doesn’t foam like that. Also better of the two in taste.

Overall, great product.

I am overall impressed with this protein powder! This is the first protein powder that I’ve bought that does not clump up or have a chalky aftertaste. This protein powder tastes especially good if you mix it with cold brew/iced coffee (which brings out more of the coffee flavor), and isn’t bad with just water if you’re in a pinch! Although it doesn’t taste like coffee ice cream, it still has strong notes of dark roast coffee which I like.

I would buy this flavor again, and will be trying other podium flavors in the future!.

Today I tried this whey protein powder for the first time. I’ve been using another brand for the past 8 years so I was a bit hesitant. But I have to say: -it taste good. -Easy to blend. -No aftertaste.

I use this in protein shakes, typically with unsweetened or chocolate hemp milk (which works a little better than some other non-dairies I’ve tried, in terms of stirring in powders), and it works and tastes great.

With the SFH Recovery (more $$), I’d use it after a workout; with this (regular SFH), I use it a couple of hours ahead of a workout, and continue to enjoy much-improved recovery over long ago before I started using this.

(My workout consistency and intensity has varied, unfortunately, over the years; so it’s not just a matter of getting used to intense workouts. ) I also use this to make delicious protein bars, along with dark-chocolate powder, coconut oil, cashew butter, and (nowadays, being more Keto-focused) a low-carb Stevia sweetener, among one or two other ingredients.

Great stuff. For really intense workouts (which I’m not doing these days), I’d use SFH Recovery afterwards. And static stretching (which seems to really help as well).

I have used SFH since 2012 for my post workout protein needs. It is the real deal. I love the coconut flavor, it tastes awesome. It disolves easily with water, with no chunks so that tells me it’s real.

I like that it also has added necessary healthy fats and electrolytes. I will never go back to cheap processed whey proteins again. It is so worth it’s cost and cheap never wins when I tell my friends.

This is so freaking good! I am sooo picky when it comes to protein, i hate chalky and clumps taste of protein BUT this one right here is a win win. It’s so smooth and the taste is amazing! I love coffee and this has 2 shot of espressos with 20g of protein.

I don’t know what is better than this 🤷🏻‍♀️ I stopped buying coffee at Starbucks and drink this everyday instead. You save money and this is a better choice right.

I’ve tried the Sweet Cream and the Chocolate Caramel, they are sooo good and they don’t have that gritty texture or taste! The Chocolate Caramel is my number one go to because you get coffee and protein at the same time that’s a WIN WIN for me! I just ordered the variety pack so I’ll see how the other flavors taste!😊.

I have never found a protein shake I actually liked, but this!!!!! Omg it’s so good I almost feel guilty! It’s coffee-e chocolate-e goodness! I mix mine with oat milk and ice. Ssssoooo good!

I’ve tried several different brands and flavors of protein powder, I found one or two that I liked, but the flavor, quality, and texture of this one beat all of the other ones by far! Smooth, creamy, and a lovely coffee flavor with no artificial sweeteners.

I mix mine with normal dairy milk as a personal preference, but I’ve also been told it’s good with almond or oat milk milk too. This protein powder is easy to digest and does not give me an upset stomach.

No strange after-flavors either. Well done, Tone It Up!.

I absolutely LOVED the original recipe, in my top two favorite flavors! The new recipe just makes it taste gross and chalky. There isn’t even cinnamon in it and it doesn’t even smell like cinnamon roll anymore.

The new recipe now has cane sugar in it. Part of the reason why I loved TIU protein was that there was no sugar, just monk fruit extract. Also the addition of the coconut creamer makes it smell too much like coconut, which again is not in a cinnamon rolls! Just overall very dissatisfied the recipe has changed, I didn’t think there was anything wrong with the original recipe.

Tone It Up’s Unsweetened Chocolate Protein Powder is very good–maybe not quite as chocolate-y as I expected but still delicious and satisfying. I prefer unsweetened protein powders so that I can control the level of sweetness in my morning smoothies and achieve it through frozen fruits, honey, and molasses that I add myself and use very sparingly.

Thank you TIU for creating a couple of unsweetened varieties for gals like me. I love that it is available in both chocolate and vanilla, and I would be thrilled to see additional flavors such as chocolate peanut butter, coconut, DECAF matcha, DECAF mocha, and/or an unsweetened greens + protein powder blend.

I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for this product and this company. I have been studying nutrition and health for almost 15 years as medical provider. Many people do not understand the importance of certified Organic protein powders (especially plant based) but this company goes above and beyond and tries even harder with cold pressed and minimal processing.

I have tried the Green Kingdom, Pumpkin Seed Powder, and Vanilla Lucuma. I like all three and I am looking forward to trying others. I agree with other reviewers this powder blends well and is finely milled.

I have only ever used this in a blender so I don’t know how well it would blend by shaking in a cup. I have 2 autoimmune conditions and many protein powders and supplements have soy and so many other fillers, I actually feel worse after I use them.

I never have this problem with Sprout Living. I even take Juice plus whole food capsules and they make a protein powder that they tout as being the best but I really don’t think their protein powder ingredients are not as clean and beneficial.

I highly recommend Sprout Living and I know this may look expensive but you get what you pay for and this is TOP QUALITY. If you need deal sign for their emails they have sales and specials often.

My palette is very diverse and can tolerate many different flavors, textures, etc. so as much as this review might not benefit some for what it is worth, I’d love to validate the amazingness that this product is.

As a reference I have tried other vegan protein powders: Orgain, Vega, Graden of Life, Amazing Grass, Whole Foods brand vegan powder and a few others I cant think of. Sprout Living Collagen is by far no comparison to any of these! To continue with the vegan vibes and prevent any other processed liquid, I just add water as my base.

I enjoy a more slushy texture, therefore I also added frozen cherries and pineapple (extra vitamin C and flavor). The first sip was ab-so-lute-ly MAGICAL. This is exactly how every morning should start for EVERYONE! Overall the cost is a little bit more than other proteins but the benefit of it 1.

) being vegan 2. ) no crazy additives 3. ) zero lack in flavor (and no aftertaste), 4. ) doesn’t make your gut or tummy feel bad! I’d rather pay more for more benefit than just to “get protein” in my diet and pay less for a nasty taste or unpleasant feeling.

On the contrary, the proteins I have tried, “did the trick”. I didn’t feel necessarily bad drinking it, my body tolerated it but they all contained “natural flavor”. and if you cant tell me what this so called ” natural flavor” is, then why am I consuming it? My boss gave me a sample of this collagen protein just yesterday and it is beyond amazing that I just had to write this review.

For those who are picky eaters or want to try something new to start to feel better. or just starting a vegan diet, this is the product to get you started in the right direction! or even if you just wanna change up what you are normally using because you’re bored.

Once you sip on this, I swear you will not want to have any other brand. I just ordered a few other samplers and I can’t wait to blend it up and get to drinkin’ it!. I’m 99. 9% sure I will inform you on how those will be as well and I highly doubt it will be less than 5 Stars.

Sprout Living Green Kingdom is one the flavors I tried last year and like their other Epic Proteins, it was great! Smooth texture, easy to mix, the flavor is so mild you can blend it with almost anything! My favorite part of SL protein is NO SUGAR, ALL ORGANIC, and NOTHING ARTIFICIAL.

I like to make special combos like 1 scoop green kingdom and 1 scoop pumpkin protein. I have a medical background and I am impressed by their quality and types of ingredients used. Even my husband who normally is a grass fed whey protein user has started adding a scoop of green kingdom to his daily morning smoothie.

If you think it’s kind of pricey it really is not for what you get. The quality is amazing and my body can tell the difference!.

I have given this product 5 stars because I have tried other brands and they were either full of fillers and additional ingredients or I had side effects. I did much research before contemplating another collagen product as I am hypersensitive with many ingredients and medications and although this brand is more expensive than others it is excellent.

It is important when choosing collagen that it is hydrolysed as it is better absorbed into the body. The recommended serving size is 2 scoops daily but due to my hypersensitivity I started with a half scoop.

It mixes well with hot water and I usually add some prune juice as although it is unflavoured there is still a taste. I was suffering with nightly hip pain that was affecting my sleep and as I cannot take any pain relief medications I was feeling very miserable.

I decided to try it as many support groups in the UK and USA had been talking about collagen and how good it was for bones and as I had recently been diagnosed with Osteoporosis I was anxious to find something that might aid towards my recovery.

Within one week all the pain in my hip had gone and I was sleeping better. I also noticed that the pain around my spinal fractures had eased too. I have vertical ridges in my nails and I had been taking Biotin for those but I have given that up in favour of Collagen Peptides as I noticed the ridges on the nails of my index fingers have disappeared.

The other discovery was the hair at the base of my neckline has grown 8 inches in 3 months! I cannot comment on the results for skin as I have good skin anyway. (There is a scoop included in the container but it is often buried at the bottom of it).

I have recommended this product to many people and as my mobility has improved because the pain has gone I highly recommend this product. The outcome is; I am still only taking a half scoop daily which means this product lasts much longer than expected and when the price is factored into that it is actually a very good buy.

I gave this protein 4 Stars because of 1. perfect amount of sweetness, 2. flavor, 3. keeping me full (which i corelate with the amount of protein in one serving). I use this protein powder as a meal replacement.

I add it to my morning coffee and treat it basically as my breakfast until I eat something additional later in the morning. It works pretty good for me that way. I usually have it by 0830-0900 and it holds me over (most of the time) until almost noon (unless I had a hard workout the night prior).

It did curb my morning snacking that I was doing before so it is helping me maintain healthier eating habits. It also doubles my daily protein intake that I would not otherwise meet on daily basis. I am usually not a fan of chocolate but this chocolate flavor appears to be working for me (a big suprise!).

I originally tried the Vital Proteins Collagen Whey Protein Dark Chocolate & Coconut Water, that I inherited from a friend and was able to purchase only about two more canisters before it was discontinued.

I am VERY sad about that. I loved that flavor (HUGE SUPRISE). I was very apprehensive when I had to switch to the current Chocolate flavor formula. Although not as good as the first one, I appreciate the chocolate flavor WITHOUT the overwhelming artificial sweetness that was often present in other collagen protein (such as Ancient Protein).

As for the collagen benefits of the formula, i don’t really see much difference. My joints don’t hurt less (nor more) than before I started using it, my mobility remains the same, no other effects on hair, skin, or nails (that collagen supposedly has a good effect on), and I do not see any effect on my workouts or my recovery time.

However that being said, I am not training for anything specific and my workouts are only as challenging as i am willing to make them each day.

Excellent taste, high quality. I heat up my oatmeal in the morning add in the protein with a little cinnamon, crushed walnuts, and blueberries ;great way to start off the day. Mixes well with water, no need to mix with milk if you are trying to avoid dairy.

Only comment I would make is where was Species in the late sixties early 70s when was trying to become a mass monster ? Your not supposed to be able to make muscle past 60 well I sure as hell am best product I have ever used no gas n bloat and oh ya taste is fab.

So far Ive tried Chocolate milk and Vanilla Ice Cream. Both of them are great, with my preference swinging toward Vanilla Ice Cream. After trying Cinnamon Donut I have a new favorite. It really is excellent.

Isolyze will continue to be hard to beat taste wise and mixing is a breeze. 27g of protein per scoop, no fat and virtually no carb. Species Isolyze is how its meant to be. Do yourself a favor, get some.

I love, love, love these bars! They are perfect for me and my kids. They taste great and have only 3g of sugar. As a mother of two busy kids, I’m always on the run so these bars fit into my on-the-run lifestyle and I feel good eating them since they give me protein and only have 3g of sugar.

Next to Atkins Hazelnut Bar, this is one of the best. Walmart is a little pricy on this. Costco has it for $21 versus $32. Just FYI

The R1 protein was much different from past vegan proteins I’ve had, but not in a bad way. It was smooth and easy to drink, even when just mixed with water. However, it does not pack a super chocolaty taste, if that is what you’re going for.

I got vanilla. Don’t do it. I bought two of these and it was awful tasting. I don’t know if it’s the stevia extract or what but it’s just not good. Bad after taste I can’t even force myself to keep drinking it.

Good taste. No bitter after taste . Perfect for my breakfast smoothie

It has really helped me with my muscle gain. Its mixability is great and does not cause any GI distress. I have tried the rich chocolate flavor and it is amazing. I would highly recommend this product to all people who are looking for a good post-workout supplement.

This supplement is my go-to supplement now.

I read through a couple of articles, finding for the right protein that would suit my workout routine, plus I am big on taste so I needed a protein that tastes good. After a lot of scrutiny I bought a whey from Fast&Up.

I was a bit skeptical TBH, but it turned out to be just right. Its completely worth it. Beginners, if you are having a hard time looking for a protein supplement, put your money on Fast&Up.
