Fine point, 0. 7 mm Black Thermo-sensitive gel ink formula disappears with erasing friction Smooth-writing gel ink Erasable pens are not recommended for use on legal or official documents. Do not expose to extreme temperatures less than 14 degree or greater than 140 degrees fahrenheit If pen is exposed to temperature that reaches 140 degrees the ink will be colorless when writing.
To restore color, cool to at least 14 degrees in freezer and the ink will again write in color 3 per pack.
I love these pens. They are fun colors and erase really well. I did find that if I wrote with a little more pressure, that it did not erase as cleanly. But even the times that it did not erase as completely as I’d have liked, it was still well enough that when re-writing on the same spot there was no muddy appearance.
These are quickly replacing the pencils I use on things that I know I will have to erase, because they don’t leave the little eraser shavings like traditional erasers do since they erase with friction/heat.
I don’t know that I would choose to use them for anything archival as I do not know how the pigment would hold up over time/temp. But for everyday use, I am happy with the purchase.
These are AMAZING! The only pen I plan to use going forward. The ink is a dark navy color. They write really smoothly, and erase well. The eraser does not leave any residue, not even those little flakes that you blow away.
Its like magic! Also as a Lefty these are %1000 percent better than old school erasable pens that just coated the side of your hand in ink. These still leave some if you’re writing a whole essay but I honestly the think it might be less than a regular pen, and you can just use the eraser to get it off.
These pens have also upped my confidence, cuz no one knows it’s erasable. You ever feel nervous about filling out forms wrong or mistakenly put the wrong date by a signature? Well worry no more! I recently became the treasurer of a nonprofit.
My first time holding a position like this and my stress about filling out all the paper work has gone way down since getting these pens. The only down sides I can think of are that the ink might run out kind of fast.
But I really can’t tell because I have been using these pens exclusively for 3 months straight. So it might just be overuse by me lol. It would be awesome if they just sold ink refills, cause the erasers on each pen are still totally intact after using up all the ink.
My only other worry with these is the longevity of the ink. I am an avid journaler and have journals that are 20 years old, some inks definitely age better than others. Hopefully this ages well, cuz its the only pen I’ve been journaling with.
I’ll try to come back and update if the ink deteriorates.
Coming in contact with XAP Credit Solution remains my best decision this year. My report was so bad that I couldn’t get a place of my own. i got evicted an stayed in a motel for months with my family, you can imagine the financial implication; but as soon as I communicated with XAPCREDITSOLUTION@ GMAIL.
COM he told me all I will need to do, which I didn’t hesitate to do. In less than 5days eviction, DMV and a few other derogatory things were taken off my report and my score that was in the 500s increased to 800s.
This sounds like magic right? Yes, XAP made it happen. Do well to contact XAP for a quick and reliable credit fix.

As with all pens with Frixion’s unique thermo-sensitive ink, you can write smoothly, erase cleanly and rewrite repeatedly without damaging your documents.
So, stick it to written mistakes with the FriXion ColorSticks erasable gel ink pens.
This is a nice multi-pen overall, it’s got a thick body, but all multi-pens tend to be this way, the rubber grip is soft without being spongy, and switching between different colors is simple. The clip is reasonably strong and seems to hold up well to regular use – it’s spring loaded, so it handles thicker pockets and should hold well in the long run.
The only issue I had with this pen has to do with the ink – the black and blue inks are decent on both a RocketBook and plain paper, not rich, but not washed out either. The green and red, however, are very pale and washed out on both surfaces and do not thicken up even with multiple layers of ink.
I’ve got some other refills in green and brown that I’m going to swap to see if the issue is with those specific ink cartridges or if it’s a problem with the colors in general. All the colors do erase as designed with the ‘eraser’ on the end of this pen, and they wipe clean with water using the RocketBook, although I have not tried erasing on standard paper.
Replacing the ink is a simple process and I’ve had no issues there. If you were looking for a good multi-pen for use with Frixion inks, this pen body is a great choice, but I’d suggest trying the inks before buying a lot of refills or investing in a RocketBook, which is somewhat disappointing as I like the idea, it’s just that the red and green inks are somewhat of a let down.
These erase better than past erasables I’ve tried, but still a little something to be desired. The ink actually mostly disappears, about 90 to 95%, which is impressive. Only little traces of ink are left in the deepest impression groves caused by the ball point.
But then when you try to write over the same area where you just erased, the new ink doesn’t want to stay very well. Or at least, it looks a little smudgy. So you can definitely tell there was a correction made, it just looks suspicious from a glance.
The other thing I’m not in love with has nothing to do with the erasing part. It’s the way the ball point writes. I can feel a little drag as I draw, or maybe better described as it feels scratchy –like I’m hurting the paper, if it had feelings.
It’s definitely not a smooth glide, which I much prefer. I’ve compensated by trying to press less firmly down when apply the ball point. This helps a little, and definitely causes less of an impression to be made in the vellum.
Pencils will work great on Rite in the Rain but sometimes you just need a pen. This All-Weather Metal Pen writes on wet paper and upside down, the pressurized ink cartridge performs in temperatures from -30F to 250F.
The ink won’t leak, evaporate or blow up in your pocket!.
I was first introduced to this pen when I worked in the Crane & Rigging Industry and our instructors needed to be able to write in the rain on paper that may be damp. These pens are amazing. They write on every type of paper and in every condition.
They also write upside down. I have been using them for personal use for over 20 years. I keep two in my purse at all times as they never stop writing unless they run out of ink. Great for doing crossword puzzles in bed too as the angle doesn’t affect the ink coming out.
Kind of spendy for an everyday pen, but worth it to me.
The pen writes really nice and is comfortable, without taking up too much room in my pocket. I like the color too because I can see where it is I set it down to continue Pt care. After the first day of use, the paint started chipping off around the rubber gasket.
Then in the middle of the night while transporting to the hospital it fell out of my pock and it’s gone. Other than the paint issue I did like it, but I think a standard size pen will be better as I can keep it in my pen sleeve instead of risking it falling out of my pocket.
Love this pen I bought it from their headquarters in Tacoma I have had it for nearly 10 years it works and has continued to work without fail. It had been used dropped submerged and has never stopped working.
The most expensive pen I have ever bought and well worth the money. Only advice I have for anyone is not to let anyone else use your pen. In the nearly 10 years I have had and used it I have never let anyone use it except once and that one time they broke it because they couldn’t figure out that it clicked so now it’s kinda floppy and doesnt feel right but still kinda works right.
Overall this is a great buy just dont let a stupid person use your pen.
Pilot Frixion Ball erasable pens allow you to have the quality and professional appearance of ink with the convenience of erasable lead like a pencil. The thermosensitive ink of this Pilot gel pen disappears with heat from the friction caused by the rubber eraser.
Thermosensitive, gel ink formula disappears with erasing friction of rubber plug eraser on the pen. Erasing leaves no residue or debris. Pen can write on the same spot that has been erased. Gel/rollerball pen delivers smooth writing gel ink and is not recommended for exposure to extreme temperatures or for signatures, examination papers or official documents where writing needs to remain permanent.
This fine point type erasable pen offers style and convenience.
These are the ONLY pens I ever use. These are the most fantastic pens I’ve ever used. I am somewhat a pen snob. I am very particular about how smooth pens write, the ink, the feel of the pen in my hand, etc.
And I absolutely hate having to scribble something out if I make a mistake, looks sloppy. I’ve gotten all of the guys at work to use them when writing up bids. We’ve started buying them in bulk. Another awesome feature to these is the replaceable ink instead of having to buy another pen.
I just wish the replacements had more color options. I use mine so much, I find that the ink runs out sooner than I’d like it to, however they are erasable and I use more ink than I would with other pens.
The eraser is the greatest part to these pens. You can erase and then write over it right away and it writes just like it did the first time. I’ve also found with other erasable pens after you erase once and write over the erased area, it doesn’t show up as well or as clear.
These are the best erasable pens on the market. There is no question about it. Ink is smooth and writes beautifuly. Eraser on the back end of the pen lifts the ink well without trace after. As it is the friction that removes the ink, there will be a faint mark from previous writing but it’s not noticble on most paper.
Does not bleed through paper. Some people may notice that the ink is lifted when left in the heat or the pen’s ink is too cold. Extreme heat will cause some ink to be removed due to the erasable quality.
If the pen is not working, heat the pen or ink in hot water to get it moving again.
These Friction pens are my great discovery of having mistake-less hand written lecture notes. A university course requires very fast noting of all information and mathematic/science formulas! To date, I was using pencils and erasers, which required frequent operations of pushing the lead forward and refilling erasers.
No more hassle! These pens write fantastically very fine letters and lines and allow to erase sudden mistakes in a second without any pushing or refilling leads or erasers! We deserve this 21st century invention to make our studies and business easier and quicker!.
Fine point. Ball Point Pen. Black ink. Stainless steel point and metal clip. Ribbed finger grip for writing comfort. Classic styling and an excellent value. Retractable and Refillable. Fine point. Ball Point Pen.
Black ink Stainless steel point and metal clip. Ribbed finger grip for writing comfort Classic styling and an excellent value Retractable and Refillable. Sold as 1 Each. 30000.
These are the best fine point pens. Personally, I prefer blue ink for my general writing (but do use black ink on legal documents). I think I’ve been using these pens for about 15 years as I used them for a long time before I retired 10 years ago.
I purchase them by the box and replace them as needed. Ink lasts a good while. I usually have to replace them because they’ve been borrowed and not returned.
I love these pens. It is hard to find fine point pens. Since I have trouble with my hands and arms, I cannot control other pens well when writing. These pens allows me to write so everyone can read them.
Want a pen that’s the perfect mix of functionality and creativity? Then Zebra’s Doodlerz Gel Stick Pens are perfect for you! Available in a rainbow of colors with a bold 1. 0mm point, these colorful gel pens are perfect for all of your writing and crafting needs.
Each glitter gel pen features a triangular ergonomic grip for increased comfort and a translucent barrel that indicates the ink color and allows you to easily monitor your ink supply. The matching pen cap features a convenient pocket clip for quick and easy access.
The convenient reusable storage case allows you to keep all your pens organized at home or on-the-go so you can doodle to your heart’s content wherever you are. Explore the never-ending possibilities for color-coding, sketching, journaling, and embellishing with Zebra Doodlerz Gel Stick Pens! This gel pen set contains 60 gel pens in assorted colors: 25 standard, 20 glitter, 6 neon, 5 metallics, and 4 pastels.
My son and I both tried the Zebar Doodler’z Gel Stick pens. At first glance, the pens don’t look like much. The casing and tip looks like your typical pen but once you hold it in your hand, you notice that the casing is shaped differently than your typical pen and you feel like you have more control over it.
Then, when you start to doodle, you notice how smooth the pen moves and how freely the ink comes out of the pen. It is almost like painting where you can vary your strokes and control how much ink is applied for each stroke.
The pens are a joy to use and the colors are vibrant. There were only 10 pens in the set I used. After using this, I am looking to order one of their bigger sets for my son to doodle.
These are awesome pens! The glitter ones are absolutely beautiful! I read some bad reviews but decided to give these a chance anyway because I liked how the box looked and I am SO glad that I did. These are in my top 3 best gel pens that I’ve ever used and I’ve bought an IMMENSE amount of gel pens for my coloring books.
This is the only set that I’ve come across that has this many regular standard colors. Most sets only have a few standard colors but this comes with 25! The pastel pens are even pretty good, actually they are the juiciest pastel pens I’ve ever used.
I don’t really like pastel because most of the time the ink is so dry that it barely works but these work better than all the others. They still have that dryness to them but they absolutely work better and once you get it started (which only takes a scribble on a piece of paper) there is hardly any scratching.
All the rest of the pens are smooth as butter and flow nicely. I only had a problem with one standard color not flowing right (Olive) and the pastels have an air bubble near the tip of the pen but there’s only 4 pastel and I don’t use them anyway.
I believe the air bubble results from the ink being dryer than the other colors because I’ve noticed air bubbles in most pastel gel pens. I also love the triangular shape of the pen, it’s unique and keeps the pens from rolling around.
I highly recommend! I will be purchasing again when I need to. I should have bought two boxes for the sale price I got these for. Although not on sale, they are definitely worth it. Top price gel pens have some competition with these! Get them and you will love them!.
I love the bright colors of these pens. They don’t seem glittery if you are looking straight at the writing but are super sparkly from an angle. The pens write smooth and the ink doesn’t bleed through the paper but it does require some dry time.
Im left handed and there was alot of smearing at first and a lot of glitter transfer. My 5 year old glittered up our wall calendar. Definitely cute enough to use for color coding notes or for journaling.
Definitely something I would buy if I saw it in stores. I use these for my personal calendar. I received this product free for my honest review.
FriXion Point Erasable Gel Pen features FriXion Erasable technology and needlepoint technology. Erase and rewrite repeatedly without damaging documents. Erasing causes no wear or tear. Gel pen writes smoothly and erases cleanly.
Thermo-sensitive Gel Ink is removed by erasing friction. Needlepoint tip delivers precise, clean lines. Gel pen also earned the prestigious Good Housekeeping Seal.
I write pretty small, so a fine(r) point pen is crucial. I am also fairly particular about the way my notes look. LOVE this pen because it allows you to erase and re-do those little mistakes that a scribble will ruin.
Also very comfortable if you plan to write for an extended period. The one con I found is the pen is a tad short for my big hands. I can only hold the pen if the cap is on. but that covers the eraser and it takes a sec to remove the cap to erase (I erase a lot.
). Overall this is my preferred pen and I have tried ~50 pens. Great fit for messy writers, paper-savers, and peeps that like their notes to look prestine.
I just discovered this fabulous product and I wish I had known about it several years ago. Erasable ink! What a great concept. I use a paper-style planner and my schedule changes periodically. I was forced to write my planner appointments in pencil, even though ink is easier to read on my planner pages.
Now, with Pilot FriXion pens, I am able to work with my planner in the way I want to. I ended up purchasing a variety of Pilot FriXion pens, markers, and highlighters and, while I use these blue erasable gel pens the most, the other erasable Pilot FriXion products are helpful as well.
I highly recommend this product for students and professionals and. Sudoku lovers! And, although I’m not an artist, I feel that some artists will love this product, too. Get them. Try them. I’ll be surprised if you don’t find great uses for them.
They write quite smoothly and erase easily and cleanly when needed, but I found the narrow 0. 5mm point nib to be a little more scratchy to use than the 0. 7mm rollerball version. For general use the 0.
7mm would be my preference, but if you want a finer line then this is a good option. However, even the 0. 5mm point is not super fine so you may be disappointed if you are used to drafting pens for very fine work.
As with all frixion pens these arent best suited for critical work as the ink can fade if left in a hot place and are there are somethings you definitely wouldnt want to be erasable, but the ability to erase ink is pretty neat.
The ink doesnt seem to go so far compared to regular inks, but refills are readily available in multipacks.
I received my complete order the next day! I love these pens because I have advanced arthritis in my writing hand and the Zebra SARASA Retractable Gel Pen Medium Point is the smoothest writing pen I have ever found.
No drag, no resistance, just glides across any type of paper finish. For Arthritis sufferers this is the Best pen!.
I love these pens. They give a bold, very dark lines that makes what one does with them substantive. Also, I love the feel of them. I have been using them for many years. Occasionally, one gets a malfunction in a pack but the performance of these pens on paper is extraordinary.
Never write a mistake again – retractable, erasable gel ink pen that allows you to write, erase and rewrite repeatedly without damaging documents. FriXion’s unique thermo-sensitive ink is formulated to deliver both vibrant color and smooth writing.
Great for editing, lists, scheduling and so much more! Now your writing can be stress free and mistake free. Writes Smooth – Erases Clean. Write, erase and rewrite repeatedly without damaging documents.
Combines the convenience of a retractable pen with FriXion erasable gel ink. Eraser is at the top of the pen, tip is retractable by pressing clip down Thermo-sensitive gel ink formula disappears with erasing friction.
I sometimes need a ballpoint pen instead of a gel ink style pen and this one is so great I find I’m using it all the time now! The Dr. Grip is easy to hold and write with. The pen has a silicone grip part and a thcik barrel which helps you write smoothly and easily.
The ink refills for the pen are very inexpensive (2/$3) and they last a really long time each. I’ve still not replaced the original ink and I write a lot each day with the pen. The tip is a nice, expressive medium point which looks great with my style of handwriting.
This pen purchase was based on signing a document at the dentist office. I immediately the pen was and then I noticed how easily it was to sign my name. A day later I went and purchased 5 of them and all are refillable and retractable.
And just as the receptionist pen was all of mine are comfortable and easy to write with. There are some slight differences with original and the comfort grip. The original the barrel is a tiny bit heavier than the comfort grip.
Hands down one of my favorites and would definitely recommend.
I bought this for a more comfortable grip pen; however, the grip was significantly larger than the photo showed, and feels awkward in my hand. If I had severe arthritis, or hand issues, I’m sure it would be better.
But for me with a healthy hand, it felt too much. The ballpoint is really nice, with smooth action and none of the smear you get with a gel pen.
Pigma Micron Pen is ideal for graphic art, scrapbooks, archival recording, illustrations, freehand art, rubber stamps, cartooning and fabric design on 100 percent cotton fabric for best results. The formulation of pigment-based ink is more complex and stable than dye-based inks.
Archival-quality ink is permanent, fade-resistant, waterproof and chemicalproof. Will not smear or feather when dry. Does not bleed through most papers. Meets ASTM and ACMI nontoxicity standard. Pigma ink is not recommended for use on fabrics intended to be washed and has not been evaluated for cosmetic use on skin.
Sakura Pigma Micron size 05 – 0. 45mm – Black. Love the archival qualities of the ink: permanent, non-acid. Don’t love the stepped cylinder construction near the tip. I hold my pens close to the tip & I grip these Sakura Pigma Micron pens right AT the step from the smallest cylinder above the metal tip to the medium cylinder inside the area the cap covers.
Even so, due to an unfortunate flooding incident (AC drain plugged & water dripped into plastic basket holding some notebooks & all pages were lost, EXCEPT those I’d written with Sakura Pigma Micron pens) I am switching from my previous fave & comfy to hold but NOT permanent Staedtler Triplus Fineliners to Sakura Pigma Microns for my general-purpose pens.
Four and a half stars! Great for detail work and writing in small spaces. Mostly, I have them from brush nib to tiniest one for Copic coloring pieces to fill in any spots when my stamped images came out spotty/too light in certain areas.
I love how super quickly they dry on porous papers: it takes mere seconds to follow through if I’m using coated papers like Xpress Blending Card (le creme de la crop and I use nothing else with my Copic Sketch markers)! However, if I forget where I’ve made my marks with a Micron and I’m in a rush, the smear is no bueno.
Not all colors have the same set speed or opacity as the black ink and the reason for loss of a half star.
I love love love Sakura pigma microns. I have them in 3 different sizes. 01, 03 05. Amazing black pigmented pens. Clear and sleek liners. I’ve been using for many years. I use them to finish my liner art, botanical art and fashion illustrations.
I use them in multiple ways, some times as base liner for my sketches and drawings, sometimes as finishing outliner as top layer on gouache, watercolors.
The power of Sharpie is now in a gel pen. The Sharpie S-Gel features no smear, no bleed technology to deliver an exceptional writing experience. It features intensely bold color for always vivid writing, while the contoured rubber grip provides you a comfortable writing experience during any writing task.
Finally, its sleek design and matte finish make it a pen you’ll be hesitant to loan out. Sharpie S-Gel offers a smooth writing experience at home, at school, or in the office.
So if you are looking for a pen that writes as smooth a butter, this is it! The only draw back is that I’m a pen snob so to me I need my pen to meet certain criteria. Smoothness, appearance, weigh in hand, feel/pen grip and price.
This pen did miss the mark for me with weight and being plastic it doesn’t have the level of pen class I prefer. The upside is that Sharpie makes a series of metal pens and I was able to swap out the bold ink in these pens into my matte black metal pen.
Unfortunately, I cannot find bold refills for the Sharpie so at this price I have to use these as refills rather than my daily writing instrument. Sharpie has no idea they are sitting on a gold mine but they just haven’t marketed this pen right and nor have they put the right ink into their metal pens.
I tried these on recommendation from another customer, but after using one at random from the four-pack the first one began leaking and splotching almost immediately which has been a problem with other gel pen brands.
Having one leak in your pocket is a DISASTER and I’m not likely to buy any brand of gel pens again. You can get the stains out with the folk remedy of soaking the stains with of all things by applying hairspray and scrubbing repeatedly, but who wants to trust a pen that will ruin and stain clothing? Pen tech in general seems to be declining and this has become a frequent problem no matter what brand I buy.
As a consumer I don’t know what brands I can trust anymore. Bic, Pilot, Sharpie and Parker have all let me down.
I’ll make the decision easy: You want these pens. This pen glides over paper like a car on a freshly paved road. Very satisfying to write with these pens, and the pigment is incredible as well. I’m always on the hunt for the perfect pen and these are right up there with my Paper Mate felt tips and Signo ball points.
I really like using this pen in my Erin Condren planner. Makes me feel like I have it all together, and dare I say, helps me get stuff done. It’s all probably in ny head but I swear this pen decreases my procrastination when I’m using it (hey I said decreases, not cures; I’m only human!).
So yes, I recommend this product. Do it. Buy these pens. Girlboss all your tasks away with the Sharpie S-Gel.
These are the most comfortable pens. They are 3 times the size in thickness (width) as a regular pen. They write as smooth as a gel pen but it’s ball point. This is refillable and the pen is great quality and will last for a long time.
It has a comfort grip as well. Excellent weight and handling.
The Dr. Grip series of pens is a really good quality line of writing instruments. I’ve had and used many over the years. They’re designed to be comfortable to hold/grip and to use for long periods (if necessary), easy to refill with ink when you run out, and the outer case lasts a long time.
The retractable ballpoint is a pen that can (and has with me) taken a beating and keeps writing and writes well. I’m very impressed with this pen and use it daily. I don’t like the gel pens Dr. Grip has out as the ink smears and smudges, looks awful, and isn’t something I’d want to use for things like letters, legal documents, or other important correspondences.
Bring a polished look to your penmanship. These pens are ideal for precise writing and notetaking. Smooth-flowing, quick-drying advanced-gel ink lays down clean lines while minimizing the potential for smudges and smears.
Round barrel features a rubberized sleeve along its length for extra writing comfort. Each barrel matches the ink color so it’s always easy to grab the right pen for the task. Acid-free.
First, I’ve used Staples’ gel pens for years. Found them to be the most reliable and durable of any by far. Frankly, I was not only skeptical but antagonistic when I saw the Tru Red version –they took away the see-through barrel just to put the “Tru Red” logo on them.
Small thing, but I was pretty mad about it. All it took was one stroke with these pens to turn me around. Wow, what a beautiful feel! The ink is smooth, flowing, and a beautiful tone of blue. Never felt anything like this –certainly not in a bulk pack.
The barrel is soft-touch plastic and a little wider than usual –some might balk at that. I, too, might prefer a more slender barrel, but the writing experience more than makes up for it. You at least can unscrew the tip to check on the ink.
But a partial restoration of the see-through barrel would top these pens off as pace-setting “invincibles. ” Finally, the fact that Staples actually solicits reviews on such small, everyday items shows how seriously they take their business.
TRU RED Quick Dry Gel pens are fantastic pens. They seem very sturdy, durable, and have just an overall great feel to them. They write so smoothly with consistent ink levels so my paperwork always looks so neat and professional.
Unlike typical gel pens, TRU RED Quick Dry Gel Pens do not smudge or smear at all, so my customers are able to read what I have written on their paperwork accurately. I am definitely purchasing more of these pens for the office and at home, and highly recommend these writing utensils to any pen lovers!.
These pens are definitely worth the buy. I saw them on sale and decided to grab a pack. One of my best financial decisions ever. The ink flows really well and dries quickly. Even if you play around with the pen on different surfaces, it still glides like butter.
These are amazing for writing and drawing! The pen itself soft and easy to grip since the diameter of the pen is a bit wider than your average bic pen. I have arthritis so this pen is a lot easier to hold than others and I do not get tired after writing for a while.
FriXion Erasable gel pen allows you to erase and rewrite repeatedly without damaging documents.
Gel pen also earned the prestigious good housekeeping seal.
These pens are the weapons of choice for our left handed 9 YO. Lovely smooth action no scratchiness at an angle and the ink sets nice and quickly. For us lefties this is great, means you can write in good ink without having smeary pagesThese pens use Thermochromic ink.
And its a sciency delight Essentially when you rub the ink with the end of the pen it generates friction heat. The ink reacts and is gone. But its notThe beauty of Thermochromic ink is that the chemical reaction is reversible see video.
You can take a page of writing and wave it over the hob to make it disappear. Then you can put it in the freezer to make the ink REAPPEAR Its awesome stuff and you can do it as many times as you want.
Or you can be boring and just rub out your mistakes.
I love these pens and love even more that you can buy refills for them. I’d rather not buy a whole new pen when the ink runs out if I can help it – buying just the refill I’m hoping will mean less plastic to recycle.
The pens themselves hold up well and I’m not sure how it works but the erasers don’t get worn down. They write like a nice, smooth fountain pen and erase cleanly every time. I am a pen snob and am so happy I discovered these pens and refills!.
If you are absolutely perfect and never make mistakes you can keep scrolling otherwise Stop! This is such a great pen. It writes smooth and does actually erase not like the first generation erasables wykyk.
I love the multi colored pack for bullet journaling or if you are a hold out like me and still like a paper planner. Get these. You will not regret it.
Pigma Pen Sets by Sakura offer superior line control and archival mark making for professionals across a variety of disciplines. Pigma pens supply waterproof, quick-drying pigment-based ink appropriate for legal documents to fine art illustrations.
The fade-resistant ink does not smear, smudge, or feather when dry on porous surfaces and does not bleed through most papers. The Micron Pigma Pens utilize an 05/. 45 mm tip to generate smooth, controlled lines for precision and detail.
Use them for graphics, journaling, scrapbooks, illustration, drafting, archival recording, cartooning, and accounting. The Pigma Pens come in Assorted Color Sets of 6 and 16.
i honestly love these microns so much, its my second set! it works great on its own and on top of a light gouache. they really have a professional look to them, even in the scratchiest doodle compared to my nice sarasa pens.
they do not dry out and this variety is a great set of widths. the tips on the 0. 05 and 0. 1 are a little delicate though, so be careful when drawing otherwise they will bend. i will say too, they can feel a little dry when you use them after a while, but once you get a little bit of scribble going on, the ink flows normally.
the price for these are so great too if you use a coupon and come super fast! love these microns + love buying them at michael’s as well.
I bought this set because I wanted to try 3 of the colors, and figured at that point I might as well get the whole set rather than buying them individually. Having tried them, I’m not 100% convinced.
I will say that I LOVE the lighter Fresh Green color. I wish I could get that in a smaller size, like an 01, to match my other Microns. The darker Hunter Green is ok, and is a nice addition to my green options.
I am actually kind of disappointed in the “Burgundy” color, though. It’s really more of a brick or a reddish dark brown, than the dark wine red I was seeking. The Micron line really doesn’t have the sort of red I want, since the regular red is more orange than I want.
Unfortunately, this Burgundy won’t really fill that spot either, though it will provide a greater range in the browns, especially in combination with the regular brown and the Sepia that is included.
The pens themselves are all of good quality, however, and I’ll be glad to have them as I am working on some of the more organic patterns in my Zentangle inspired art.
I wanted to buy the Sakura Pigma Micron pens in different colors to use on my Hobonichi since it is a great fineliner for that planner. I originally bought a multipack in different sizes of the black color from another website and found that the.
25mm is the size I use all the time to write. I wanted to get this size in different colors, so I went to JetPens and saw they sold each color individually. The pen itself write really well. It is smooth and does not bleed through the Tomoe River paper on the Hobonichi (it does ghost because the paper is so thin but I do not mind that).
The pen is very pigmented and does not skip any ink, which it should not because it is a fineliner. It does not release too much ink, as I found happens to other finelines like the Steadtler fineliners.
The. 25mm size is very thin but I write small in my Hobonichi anyway so it is not a problem for me. If you are someone who is used to writing with larger pen sizes like. 7 then I would suggest getting the next size for these pens.
The only thing I want to make note of is I noticed that when I compared it to my Pigma Micron pen in the black ink that I got from the other website, the labels and writing on the outside of the pen are printed on directly the barrel.
However, this one that I bought on JetPens has the label and markings printed on a clear sticker label and is stuck on the barrel instead of printed directly. I wish I could provide a picture of the comparison because I do not know if that has something to do the the authenticity of the pens.
Upon closer inspection, another difference between the two is that the purple writings on the barrel (where is says “Pigma” “01” and “0. 25mm”) in my black pen from another website is a lighter shade of purple than the one I purchased here on JetPens.
As far as the writing goes, I only had this pen for a short while so I cannot really tell the difference between the wear and tear of the nib (I press hard when I write) but they both seem to write the same.
Another difference that I noticed is the code right above the barcode on the barrel has different fonts. The one I purchased on the other website has a smaller font size with the same font type as the rest of the writings on the barrel, while the one I purchased here has a larger font size with a more type-writer font, which is different from the rest of the font on the barrel.
My only guess as to why there are differences is because I bought the black pen in a pack with different sizes vs. this is sold individually. I am hoping neither are fake, but I won’t look too much into it because I don’t want to know.
They both work perfect and I will leave it at that.
A streamlined, ultra-slim True Writer Sea Glass ballpoint pen. This lean and lithe version of our True Writer ballpoint sports our award-winning True Writer Sea Glass pen design inspired by those shimmering bits of glass polished by the tides.
Iridescent flecks of light blue, green, amber and khaki glimmer beneath the polished resin, enhanced by shining chrome appointments. Add a 3-initial monogram for a personal touch.
In the past, I’ve had hit and miss experiences with True Writers, mostly due to ink flow issues whereby the nibs start out great after filling but dry out after a few days resulting in hard starts and skipping.
Levenger has been exemplary in their customer service when this has happened in the past (several times) in allowing returns. This Sea Glass edition is beautiful and writes with the smooth fat wet lines with a hint of pencil-like feedback that I’ve come to expect from True Writers.
Nice indeed. I didn’t give it a 5 star because it still can have a tendency to dry out a bit. but that problem doesn’t seem to be as severe with this one, especially when using the included cartridge which has a small bead inside to break up surface tension and allow ink to flow down more easily than the included Levenger-branded Schmidt K2 converter.
I’ve noticed that ink tends to stick to the walls of those and not flow down to the nib when writing. I’ve tried K5 converters which have a different barrel material and they do seem to flow better. For now, I syringe refill the stock cartridge with fresh bottled Levenger Raven Black ink and that seems to be working great.
I do have spare K5 converters lying around, but I’m really liking how the pen performs with the cartridge (plus one spare in the pen to add some weight and balance). In all, I’m happy with my purchase but I suggest that Levenger switches to K5 converters for a more reliable ink flow.
It’s a beautiful pen and having had lessons in Penmanship from the Palmer teachers who came to our schools in Northampton, Ma. for every grade to Grade 12, my fellow students from many years ago are all beautiful writers.
I like the way this pen works. In fact, when I was first married and received mail from fellow student, my husband asked if I was sending letters to myself. I’m a beautiful cursive writer, due in no small measure to my Levenger Slim Sea Glass Ballpoint pen.
Pen pretty but too fat for me. Also it doesn’t write well. Changed ink cartridge, bought. 6 refills and they don’t work either. Must be very old. Should have sent all back but got too busy now stuck with it.
Grip is a revolutionary retractable cushion grip ballpoint pen that reduces required gripping effort, relieving stress and alleviating writing fatigue. Great for students, office workers and people who write a lot.

Ink doesnt bleed through most papers. Permanent pigment ink makes this pen check safe fade- and water-resistant. Liquid ink flows smoothly for seamless skip-free writing. Extra-durable plastic nib writes extra-fine lines with no bleed and no smears.
Snap-fit cap prevents ink from drying out when not in use. Pen Style: Stick; Ink Color(s): Black; Pen Type: Porous Point; Point Size: 0. 4 mm.
These pens are the BEST! I couldn’t find them in my local office supply or art store recently, but was able to order directly from Pentel. They arrived in beautiful condition and in no time at all. They make everything I write — whether it is my signature, addressing a card, or anything else — they are smooth, and write like they are on glass and not paper.
This pen is my favorite. It doesnt leak through the pages, and it flows super well. Very brief drying time as Ive never smeared while writing notes. I carry three with me daily to school and work and I come home with all three daily, bc I love and care for them that much.
Its truly a wonder. If my 17 month old grabs one she cant take the lid off which is ideal because she is a budding artist and uses anything she can get her hands on to make art. This is my pen for life.
I first purchased this brand/model of pen about 10 years ago. It fits perfectly into you hand and has a cushion where you fingers grip. One of the best features of this pen is that the refill/writing point is non-retractable.
To put the pen in your pocket you must replace the cap. No more ruined shirts because you put a retractable pen in your pocket with the writing point extended. I don’t think you can find a better pen at this price.
I reviewed these pens today but I am writing a review because they are not the first ones I’ve owned. These pens are 0. 7mm but wrote very heavy and make a nice heavy line. You also get every bit of ink out of the pens.
They continue to write until they are totally empty. I’ve never picked one up to use it and it fail to write the first time. They also write exceptionally smooth. Great pens!.
I had used G2’s for a while, and I thought I’d try these out. I regret it now. The click top sections are not engineered to stay connected to the shaft of the pen. The G2’s do not have these problems at all, so I will be switching back.
*Also, pretty sure that the G2’s are a better price too, so I’m not really sure what the draw is toward these. Disappointed. For what you pay, the G2’s beat them. I prefer the ink of these in blue ever-so-slightly, but not when they’re always falling apart.
*I’m sure others out there, of course, but these seem the most comparable to each other.
