20 Best Numbing Cream For Nipples Before Piercing (2023 Updated)

Excellent product. Nothing else numbs as well or as deeply (I use it for a medi-port an hour before infusion access, and there is zero pain!). I’ve tried many other numbing agents, but LMX 5% (even 4%) has something proprietary to Ferndale Labs that seems to get the job done the way no other lidocaine-based topical cream can.

It’s expensive, probably more than it needs to be, but Valley Medical keeps their margins down, so they are usually the best price on the net.

This is the only way my right hand lets me sleep through the night. Before L. M. X. 4, I would wake up in excruciating pain in my right hand, but I put the magic LMX4 on before going to bed and give it time to absorb and I am pain free all night.

I use this anesthetic cream before my laser eax and works very well, the sesion hurts but this cream makes the process a bit softly!

Sure, this is not as thick as a creme, but for me, it’s important that it has lidocaine. All of the Aspercreme tubes I have seen do not have the lidocaine added. This one does. The cream, in my opinion, is not as effective as this product.

I have arthritis and general pain every day. I use this every day. The consistency is not at all important to me, it’s the addition of the lidocaine. Regular Aspercreme does not have the same effect.

This product does the job for me, as well as can be expected. Regular Aspercreme has Trolamine Salicylate, which does not do it for me. This bottle, with Lidocaine added, is exactly what I need every day.

I got this product to help with neuropathy mostly. Doctors are refusing to prescribe anything anymore and they lie to you and tell you this works. It did not. Sorry Aspercreme. I didnt expect it to since my pain is more than a muscle ache but doctors are terrible now.

So much for ethics. Always. I have rubbed this on my arthritic spots and it helped a little. I dont feel I am a super great subject to test this out so please consider that. When your a pain patient its a very complex condition and it differs from normal acute pain.

Arthritis is chronic as well but I think its different than my other pains. Depends also on how advanced your condition is. Its worth a shot but I prefer to test before buying. Would be LOVELY if someone could buy a squeeze packet maybe in CVS for a dollar or something.

Or send out samples to customers that write and pay shipping. I keep my bottle and do try to use it for more common pains or new ones.

My family uses this brand specifically becasue the cream does not have a menthol smell. Some creams can be overwhelmingly methol smelling which my mother does not care for. Ive found that this product is effective in treating muscle aches and pains.

I have used other products that ae similar which I do like which is why I did not give this five stars. However, I do recommend this to people who do not like the menthol scent as it treats pain relief the same without the smell.

The tube was quite difficult to open because of the cap design, although opening does become easier as use is continued. Even though this product showed lidocaine to be an ingredient, for me it did not work all that well to relieve pain.

Also, because of the product photo, I though I was supposed to get two tubes — I only received one. In my view, this product is too expensive for the small amount in the tube; it is definitely not a good value.

Used this during my first Brazilian experience and man did it safe a life. Coming from a person who has low pain tolerance definitely recommend!

I’ve tried other creams on my sciatica and diabetic nerve neuropathy they haven’t come anywhere near as close to finding comfort as I have with dragon extra strength and I would highly recommend it to anybody with muscle and joint pains.

When I received the Pain Relief Spray with 4% Lidocaine as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was a bit skeptical that it was super relevant to postpartum recovery. It seemed a little unnecessary with pain relief medication and things like cold packs/padsicles.

For a little context, I had an unmedicated birth and did not have tearing (only abrasions), but when I got to use the Pain Relief Spray, it offered a little extra relief, especially in those early days when there is more swelling and the abrasions were more raw.

I found that it was easy to apply, and offered quick (almost instant) relief. This made life easier as I adjusted to healing myself, caring for the new baby, and tending to our energetic and active toddler.

I don’t prefer to be totally numb ,as I want to be able to have sensation/awareness as I heal: this offered relief without feeling like I was disconnected from my body. As I have moved into days five and six of postpartum recovery, it has also provided relief from the later healing when the light itching sensation can settle in.

I am glad I tried the Pain Relief Spray with 4% Lidocaine, and will recommend it to new parents as an option to make the postpartum period a little more comfortable! Pros: Easy to use, offers gentle relief, relevant in all stages of recovery/healing.

Cons: Requires some attention/memory to stay within the maximum recommended numbers of daily application, make sure you are not allergic to topical anesthetics before using!.

I was given this lidocaine spray to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it came at just the right time! I had a spray from the hospital when we were discharged and had also bought a natural witch hazel spray prior to my delivery, but both sprays didn’t work for me.

They stung or didn’t provide any relief. The lidocaine spray came about 7 days post partum and I was very pleased with the product from the start. No sting! And it actually provided a significant amount of pain relief almost immediately! For context, I suffered a grade 3b perineal tear and had a lot of stitches after delivering our son.

Just wanted to try something else for a change, to see how it worked for me. I have been using Icy hot and Aspercreme with Lidocaine on my knee before going to bed due to Arthritis pain during the night.

These products are good but, they last maybe 5 or 6 hours. Then at Walmart one day, I said let’s give the Salonpas a try. I rubbed this creme on my knee, before going to bed and slept all night with no knee pain at all.

Not only does it work better, but also for a longer period of time. I’m sold on this product, and will continue to purchase this Salonpas with Lidocaine all the time. I am telling everyone about this Fantastic product for pain.

Back in 1997 I was first introduced to Salon Pas pain patches. Coming from someone who has had 4 surgeries on his back, 2 surgeries on 1shoulder, 1 surgery on the other shoulder & both knees operated on with one being replaced this stuff works great.

Now they come out with the addition of Lidocaine to their patches, then they came out with roll on. Does this company ever stop?? I think not. If you truly want to stay away from opiate pain relievers try this product out because it WORKS!!! Keep up the good work Salon Pas.

My daughter had used Salonpas for pain with good results. I used the roll-on my back, side and abdominal for pain and it caused a rash that looked like burn. So use with caution!!! I am now using a percription steroid cram to help it heal.

The rash or reaction is bad so I foresee it taking a while to heal. I have used it on my feet without a problem but I will be very careful as I do that.

I like that a little goes a long way– 5 seconds of applying it is all I need. I have moderate arthritis of my knee and today I awoke with almost no pain. Give it a chance for a week, if your doctor supports that, and make decisions with your family’s (or loving friend’s) advice.

This is the lidocaine cream that I used for my TCA peel. This product comes in a 1 ounce container and is 5% lidocaine in strength. It can be purchased on Amazon for a very reasonable price. For my TCA peel I used about 2/3 of this container and generously blobbed it all over my face.

Then I covered the cream in saran wrap for an hour for extra numbing effect. I could feel some burning as I applied the TCA, but it made the procedure quite tolerable. I would use this again.

I ordered the 1oz, because I didn’t think it would be all that great. Was I wrong. I did not use it on my temples, upper cheek by lower eye & forehead. I used 10. 56% for those areas. I believe this 5% may do the trick in those sensitive areas.

I’ll give it a try next go around and save money over the 10. 56%. My steps: Took hot shower or use warm towel on face to soften it up. After cleansing and disinfecting face, used the Numb Master with gloved fingertip to apply 1 coat.

Not a thin layer, yet not a thick layer. Just enough that I could see it and not have it dry out. DON’T RUB IT IN, just apply. I placed plastic wrap onto my face (ripped air hole at mouth). Felt a slight tingling.

Waited 15 minutes. WOW, I already felt the numbing power toward the end of the 15. Took of ‘mask’ and added a second thin coat. I set up my needling machine which took about 10 minutes. I was good and numb by then.

I’m now thinking 1 coat may have done the trick, but I hate pain. NOT ONCE DID I FEEL ANY SORT OF PAIN. None in the slightest.

Product performs as well or better than all others I have used, I was exceptionally pleased. Shipping was competitive, pricing equal to others of same size and strength. Overall I would give this Numb Master a 9.

Sorry, to bust your bubble, but IcyHot does NOT work. It is currently 11:24pm and early this morning I caught a horrible back spasm in my lower back. I was in so much pain that my supervisor let me go home early today.

When I arrived home, I could not stand straight up without feeling any pain so my girlfriend immediately rushed to Walgreens and purchased a bottle of IcyHot and a heat pad. As I laid on my stomach she rubbed a large portion on my back but unfortunately it wasn’t effective.

I didn’t feel anything as she rubbed the IcyHot on my back. No cold nor heat on my back. Luckily she had the heating pad and placed it on my back. I’m sorry, but I will not be patronizing your products again.

Great topical cream. targets pain immediately. We found you only need apply this twice per day as it works consistently for hours without having to reapply. We found it best to apply straight after bathing each morning but it does need another re application if you swim or take a 2nd shower following exercise.

When pain is severe and impacts sleep we found this best applied an hour or two before bedtime enabling the product to dry first and settle before bed. Overlapping the cream. and painkillers reduced the demand for painkillers at certain points in our day.

I would without hesitation recommend this product to adults. I would also suggest that if someone has high sensitivity to sensory products that this may not be suitable for them. The tingling sensation may vary for individuals.

You may be able to trial a small patch to see how well they cope with the product before using it in a more widespread fashion.

I was expecting more from this product. It burns more than icy hot, therefore I thought it was working. I rubbed it into the skin then layered a thick layer on top before wrapping with saran wrap. It burned for about half an hour, then became a little numb.

Once tattooing was started I felt everything – it did not help one bit. Also be aware that it makes tattooing the skin EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. My tattoo artist had to go over the same spot at least 6-7 times for the ink to take.

The gel creates a layer that bounces the needle right out. So it actually hurt more using this gel because of how much it had to be gone over, prolonging pain and time. Would not recommend this.

This is the first OTC cream I have ever used at home. I have been treated several times at a skin clinic with microneedling and they used medical grade numbing cream. I bought this to do some at home microneedling and it surpassed my expectations.

I have never found such a great relief for partial denture pain like this before! I have prescription numbing mouth wash, and I’ve tried everything I could find OTC and pharmacist referred, nothing compares to this.

The best way I have found to use it is to put it on the actual partial or whole denture where it rubs your gums raw. If you put it on the gums it tends not to stay very long even if you dry your gums first.

I purchased this numbing cream from a good review I read. I purchased it for my first client that I’ll be doing her lips. I decided to put it on myself first to check it out. I put a liberal amount massaged it in, covered it with wrap, and waited 30 minutes.

I took a needle and checked my lips. Ow. Very painful. So I applied more waited another 20 minutes. Nope- this cream does not supply a very good numbing at all. I’m glad unused it in myself first. Now I’m on the hunt for something that works.

So I tried a test patch on my hand. Everything went smoothly. A week later I put in on and go get three tattoos. I am currently sitting in the ER with a level before compartment syndrome. I take extra care of every tattoo I get.

This lidocaine roll is good, you just have to make sure its dry before dressing. Otherwise much better than them Salinas patches they dont stick right rolling off all the time then putting back on they wont stick they dont stick right to begin with.

And the plastic ones are even worse if they get stuck you might as while put right in trash because you can not get them apart. What a waste. I dont see how they can even sale them Ill never buy them ever again.

My insurance copay for them a box of 30 a month supply 400$ are you kidding me theres no way I could afford that. Now that Im on Medicare n Optima prescription plan says they dont cover them. So heres something that works but make it expensive to get.

And they wonder why people look for pain pills from a doctor but mostly probably for the streets would be in my Opinion and thats terrible. Makes no since to me I cant hardly wait until next year when I can look for another plan thats better for sure.

We used this when I was a kid. If i got a bad sunburn. On day 3 after the bad sunburn I would have this intense pruritus (itching) wherever the sunburn was. Mom tried numerous items to relive the pain/itching.

This product comes in a 2oz. Spray can. 1 can the spray didnt work at all the others each gave me 2 applications. I have used other spray products with 2oz. can and they lasted much longer. The product in the can worked but how much product is actually in eacH can.

Pick this over Icy Hot any day. For a while I was having some bad back pain and nothing helped. I then learned some proper stretching in addition to using this as recovery- and it feels warm and amazing once it’s applied! I will not however, the product is NOT thick.

I have been trying other products over the years, but have discovered GREENCAINE BLAST numbing gel and have been very happy with it. I use it mainly for tattoos and everybody that tries it is satisfied with the results.

I apply it as directed and it seems to last about an hour. For me there is no need to look for other products as this gel meets all my expectations and I will continue to use it. Highly recommended and the price is reasonable.

i went and got tatted using this cream. i put it 2 hours before and wrapped it up. when i say, my pain was 2/10. it really was! only felt the needle of the gun. mostly tickled too. highly recommend!!!
