I use it with my matte lipstick. It helps with my lips to not be dry. also use it alone as lipgloss. Wonderful product. Boyfriend does not like it because it stained some of his shirts by hugging. It does not wash out easily out of clothes.

I bought the “honey glaze” lip primer, on a whim and I’m so glad I did. It feels so nice, and smooth on my lips, not tacky or gooey, and it SMELLS SO GOOD. Almost reminds me of gummies bears. Will buy over and over again.

I’ve been using Mac’s lip primer for years despite the fact that I never felt it worked. It felt sorta like a creamy lip balm. I just figured all primers were like this. Until I tried KissKiss. LOVE! It has a more matte texture and it actually works.

I’m hooked.

I’ve purchased this primer a couple of years ago. I loved it because it perfectly neutralizes the colour of pigmented lips. I usually use a foundation, but this primer did the trick and better! The only thing I didn’t like, is that near its end of use, the primer became a little chappy.

I can’t recall if I had it for too long or if the moisture evaporated but it’s so good for neutralizing highly pigmented lips.

When I received my KissKiss lip primer I tried it immediately and didn’t particularly care for it. I found it to be dry and didn’t apply smoothly to my lips. I tried it again this morning after using a sugar scrub and it worked like a charm! I love it! It does seem to make my lips appear plumper and definitely smoother! I put a nice gloss on over it and I’m hoping it lasts a while.

I do recommend this product and would definitely buy it again!.

I bought this from the representative that lives in my mothers neighborhood I do not typically buy Mary Kay products but saw this in a book and thought I would try it. I’m still up in the air whether or not I really like it I feel like it leaves a powdery film on my lips I was trying to find an alternative to exuviance targeted lip filler but this does not compare.

When I finish this I will not re-purchase this product.

It took me a while to get on board with primers. I was a 90s baby, we threw on blue shadow and lip smackers and was set. THIS lip primer is a game changer. This, with a lip stick, and a finishing powder dabbed over means my lip stick is staying fierce thru my first morning cups of coffee.

In love! This cleanser is super gentle and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. I use it every night after removing my makeup to get rid of any residue. I have sensitive skin and it’s perfect if you want to cleanse without irritating or drying your skin.

I picked this up when Target stopped carrying the Glow Mud Cleanser and I wasn’t sure what to think at first, but now I love this stuff! The instructions say to apply to damp skin, I’d suggest applying to nearly, or completely, dry skin for best results, otherwise it seems like any water that interacts with this Gel causes it to quickly dissolve and makes it hard to apply.

I use this in conjunction with the Glow Tonic and the Overnight Glow Serum and my skin is so much happier now! I still prefer the Mud Cleanser but this is a great alternative since I cannot easily acquire the other cleanser now.

Gentle and effective cleanser. Hasn’t irritated my skin which is fairly sensitive and after 3 weeks of continuous use I can see improvement in my texture. I feel hydrated after using and my moisturizer sinks in nicely.

I was worried at first it wouldn’t cleanse effectively as it has a slippery feel and doesn’t foam. I always use this after makeup removal with micellar water so I don’t know how it would do at makeup removal but so far I’ll definitely repurchase.

Oh, I do so LOVE this product! This was introduced to me by a MAC artist when I was in-store looking for a matte red lipstick. I’m not usually someone who does much with her lips. A bit of gloss here, some cremesheen there, nothing fancy.

Having said that, looking for siren red lipstick for a “new look” for me was an eye opener. I tried Ruby Woo without the primer, because I thought the primer to be a little superfluous and also thinking lip liner would be sufficient.

Well, I thought wrong. The lipstick stayed somewhat, but my lips got so dry because it’s a super matte lipstick. putting lip balm underneath eased the drying, but nixed the staying power of the lipstick.

To get the most out of a product promise for lipstick/gloss/stains, you need to give it the best base to shine. I put this on before I do anything, before any other primer or moisturiser so it has time to absorb.

Then when the time comes, apply my foundation to the outer edge of my lips, re applying a LITTLE more to the inner lips, so you are not applying your liner to wet lips. They shouldn’t be soaked with product before applying your lipstick/gloss/stains.

It will leave your lips feeling moisturised and satin like, it does mine! The more dryer your lips, the more attention you’ll need, even the night before I would think. I just know that I need this for long lasting lipsticks, especially Matt ones, to work as they promote.

Everyone is different so I always play around with different routines until I find a fit before I review a product. I hope you all can get the same benefits as I have.

Guys, I’m not very good with doing my makeup. Like at all. However, in an effort to attempt to try some new things out and be more comfortable with something that intimidates the jazz hands out of me.

I purchased the Prep + Prime Lip primer. I figure it would be an easy first step. The product showed up and I hesitantly circled around it like it was gonna eat me. But, I finally puckered up my lips and painted it on.

To say it is a game changer is a gross misuse of words. This stuff made my lips feel smoother and fuller. I applied lipstick on after the prime and it actually looked better and stayed where it was supposed to all day.

All day, all day. It’s now a staple in my purse along with a growing rainbow of lipsticks. Thanks MAC for this little gem! It’s fantastic and I hope others benefit from it as well!.

I love this eye shadow primer. I have yet to find another that makes my shadow more vibrant or lasts longer. The first time I used it, I fell asleep without taking my makeup off, and when I woke up, my eye shadow was still perfect.

Unfortunately, I think I’m allergic or something to one of the ingredients. After using it for a couple weeks, dry patches started forming on my eye lids. So if you don’t have some type of reaction to it, it’s great and affordable.

I’m sad I can’t use it anymore.

I actually used this a few years back, and thought it was discontinued, so I held on to the primer stick longer then I probably should have! I LOVE this product! It’s so silky and smooth on the lips, and can even be used without more product (lipsticks, glosses, chap stick, etc.

) At times I would wear it alone because it would just give my lips a subtle sheen and make them just look more hydrated. Though it is pink, it glides on clear, so don’t let the color keep you from trying! I’m currently using ABH lip primer, but since I found out I can still order this or track down in certain stores, I may just got back to it once my high end one runs out!!! Definitely helps lip colors look more vibrant and last longer; texture helps conceal cracked/flakey lips a bit too, so they don’t show through as much one applied.

Best part is that it’s very cheap considering what it is used for and how it works! Would definitely recommend!.

This is supposed to be a lip primer, however, I used it as just a sheer pink lipstick and it looks amazing. It is very sheer with light sparkles. I didn’t see any long lasting effects when wearing it under lipstick, so I just wore it alone.

I bought 4 of these. They’re useless. Bad pigmentation + licked off w/i a half hr. Not worth buying or returning. I love their polishes so thought they’d be good. Besides, I buy online 3-4xs wkly. Don’t like messing with the merchant thing.

Maybe I had big expectations based on the reviews of others but I feel like it didn’t quite worked for me as intended. I’ll break it down: – It DOES have a sting/burning feeling. It even stung my boyfriend for a while after we kissed.

(1 hour after application) -However, I haven’t seen that much of a plumping effect. My lios are already decent-sized so maybe that’s why , it’s kind of difficult to notice if there’s a change in volume.

-It DOES help lipstick stay on for longer. -However I didn’t see much of that ”smoothing” effect some people were talking about on the reviews. They said that it made the lines on their lips to fill up or disappear.

That didn’t happen with so you could still see the lines after applying lipstick which doesnt help to make it look nice, smooth or luxurious as i had wanted.

This primer is incredibly spicy, do NOT use it if you have any cuts on or around your lips because you will feel the pain of a thousand suns. For me, this primer really dried out my lips despite the skincare prep I would do, even for a matte primer, this is very drying.

The plumping effect is okay, I didn’t notice a massive difference since my lips are already quite plump naturally, they did however make them bigger for a short while. As far as a primer goes though, this is terrible at keeping my lipstick in place for more than a few hours, it would often just flake off with my dry lip skin :/.

I’m always trying lip colors, and this is one of the few I liked so much, I bought a second. This goes on smooth like a balm, but it lasts longer than most any balm. Even when most of it has come off, there’s still a hint of color left on my lips, like a tint.

I used just this one lip color for a cruise and vacation this summer. The Blushing Pop is a good neutral for my complexion. It looked natural, but not nude. Just right for a casual, natural, light makeup look.

I would not call the color matte, since it has a bit of sheen from the balm. But the matte lipsticks I usually wear dry out my lips. This lipstick does not dry out and feels soothing to wear.

I just received this Clinique trio of lipsticks and they are excellent. I love all the colors. What I like is that they are not sticky and have just the right pop of color. They are wonderful for daytime wear.

In addition, they give you a natural look. Two of them are beautiful pinks, with the other a deeper color which is a little more dramatic, yet still subtle. These are definitely keepers, and a good price point.

I can’t count the how many compliments I’ve gotten this week of my new found shade of Clinique pop icon lipstick. Clinique discontinued Matte Vintage Wine shade a few years back and I’ve been lost trying to replace this particular shade of red lipstick.

My friend says it makes my eyes pop but I personally feel that it it brightens up the shade of my teeth!! It’s like an optical Illusion!! I have one in my makeup bag and I will be buying two more before it sells out.

This is going to be a long one👀: Lately, before wearing a lipstick for work I try it on the night before. This is because, like many people, my anxiety was at an all time high during covid and the outlet sadly turned to impulse buys online 🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ and lipstick was the only makeup (besides brow pencil and mascara) that was in my beauty bag.

The night before yesterday(Monday) it was time to try Smashbox always on liquid lipstick in “Girl Gang”. The moment it was applied you could tell it was highly pigmented and the color was beautiful. The lipstick stayed on after an hour (actually took a bit to take off with even with Lancôme’s bifacil).

Used it for work the next day and took a before picture (sunglasses) at 6:59am and an after at 12:30 pm before lunch. Forgot to take one after lunch (still had not worn off and was mildly faded at 5:pm on my way home) so decided to wear it again today and took the video! If you look at the video even after I rub it against my hand the only thing that seems to come off is a bit of lipliner (can’t remember which one was used 😰).

The disclaimer is that I did use lip primer for the first time ever yesterday and again this morning, not sure if that had something to do with it, but on Monday night it was extremely hard to get off as well.

Therefore, if you are looking for a long lasting lipstick you might want to consider this one🥰.

I spent 2 hours testing shades, and wear length at the store. (All different brands, because I wear very specific darker colors. ) Finally decided on a MAC matte, and I got the primer half off because of a promo.

I asked the MAC lady, “is this going to extend the wear of my lipstick. ” She was very extra, saying, “yeesss!,” so I bought it. Wore both yesterday. Great creamy, moisturized feel, but it took LAYERS of lipstick to get the color to even show halfway decent.

Then the lipstick wore off in about 2 hours. Major color transfer when drinking and eating. Super disappointed. Definitely returning. Too much money, not enough result.

This is for the Clinique pop lip colour + primer, these come in both liquid and solid forms. Lots of colors for about $20. 00 each. I found that the different shades I’ve tried all performed well. This is for a shade called, “berry pop” and It is a deep, reddened plum with subtle, cool undertones and a natural sheen.

Looks more like a cream finish. Lightly creamy, smooth, and applies evenly. Almost full pigment. Smoothed out lip lines and lightly hydrating. Definitely a longer lasting lip product.

CLINIQUE POP LIP COLOR AND PRIMER 13 love pop Pros: • almost not felt on the lips. • good color rendering, and this reduces consumption. • lack of aroma. • draws a good outline (when the edge is sharp).

But I still like to draw it with a pencil so that it doesn’t flow out. • has in itself super small sparkles which give beautiful modulations in the light. • glossy finish. Adds a little volume to the lips.

• This lipstick is suitable for girls with dry lips! Does not emphasize dryness and wrinkles. • creamy oily texture. • average resistance. After eating, you need to update. • contains shea butter and does not dry lips.

• high-quality packaging, the lid closes well. I like that you can determine the color by the tube and do not need to be opened again. • there are miniatures (2,3gr). Minuses: • emphasize obvious peeling, but it will make any lipstick probably.

I liked the formula of this lipstick and I will definitely buy it in a different shade, because this one is too bright and fruity for me, but for some kind of summer look.

I have bought this several times in the color Ripe Pop and Petal Pop. I like the colors and the moist coverage. I liked the fact that it has primer and I thought it would stick better. It actually does not stick very long but I buy it again because I love the color and it does leave a tiny bit of color when it wears off.

The applicator takes up way too much of the product and you can’t just wipe that on the lips, I scrape some off and there’s still too much so I have to dab it on in spots then smooth with my finger. I’ve decided if you do not drink anything while wearing the lip color and do not put your lips together this is how it could stay on all day.

But I do sip water all day drink coffee the color comes off. I wish Clnique would make a lip color that stains the lips and does not wear off for say 8-12 hrs. When I was a child in the 50s my mother’s lipstick stained and lasted all day.

“They” say that today’s lipstick comes off easily so you can change color, but you can change the color just as well with ‘stain’ lipstick. When it’s wiped off, there’s a bare trace on the lips that could be coated over with new lipstick.

I want lipstick that stays on. But I will still buy this product again. I love lipstick and have at least 2 dozen Clinique lipsticks.

This product is superb. I’ve been looking for something to reduce lipstick transfer thus reduce my constant need to re apply lipstick just to keep it looking okay. I’d almost given up hope until Lipcote.

I apply my normal lippy then blot out excess and apply a layer of Lipcote. It does cause tingling of my lips but in a couple of minutes it’s dry and really works. I can drink or eat with very little risk of lipstick transfer.

I totally love it. Yes it’s not everlasting but it does drastically reduce the need to keep re applying lipstick every and all times. Perfection.

Words cannot express just how much I wish that I’d found this lipstick sealer sooner than I did. It keeps any lipstick I wear (even the dirt cheap ones) right in place for MUCH longer than previously (without any sealant).

I used to be having to top up my lipstick after I’d had anything to eat or drink, but not anymore. You only need a really tiny bit, so it lasts for ages. A tip I took from another review is to apply lipstick, blot, then reapply and add sealer, and wait for a while.

It works a treat. It may smell a bit unpleasant when you first apply it – similar to the smell of nail varnish remover – but no big deal. I will definitely be repurchasing this. Just don’t go changing it.

Ok, so Id sat like you are now reading the reviews and the majority were great. One or two werent happy but we dont know the circumstances so well forget them for now. Firstly, packaging great. Small cylinder taller type type bottle Of clear liquid with a brush similar to nail varnish brush.

Id had some new make up arrive and wanted to put my make up and new lippy to the test so this was an ideal day as off work. Around 3pm I applied my lipstick, shook the bottle of lip sealer gently ( we never know how long its been stood for) and followed the guide on the box ( important but) and I quickly brushed it on keeping my lips slightly apart and it only maybe tingled for a few second at most, nothing to cause concern and certainly didnt hurt.

Ok, its on. Now to really put it to the test, I went about my evening as normal which included copious amounts of coffee, I ate a red wine beef casserole with mash and then a light snack at supper time.

Yep, its still in place at bed time around 11pm, maybe not as deep but the colour was definitely still on my lips! I got up next morning and it had all but gone. To summarise this item; it does what it claims to, it locks colour down for hrs on end and if youre out on a date or a night out, it should, technically speaking, stay true if eating or drinking.

I am proof of that. I didnt reapply at all as I wanted a true test. Very handy item as a must have in your bag for very little money. Its a 10 from me.

I received a complimentary Plum Pop shade with my first purchase. I mean first and foremost you cannot beat free, although I typically steer clear of lipsticks. Well, as with pretty much everything else, Clinique has changed my mind.

This is my absolute favorite shade, I love the matte look, and it looks pretty spot on with my natural lip color. Helping to accentuate my natural lip color seamlessly. I am now a proud lipstick wearer.

It definitely has no funny taste either when I am sipping my coffee in the mornings after having made myself up. I also can actually kiss my husband with it on, and he does not complain about it tasting funny or it leaving a waxy film on his lips.

I purchased this lipstick for the first time and it became an instant favorite. The packaging is beautiful, the color is exactly what I expected, and it’s formula is fantastic! This product provides excellent color saturation, stays on much longer than some other brands with similar prices points, and feels absolutely incredible.

It kept my lips well-moisturized from the moment I applied it. It glides onto my lips with ease and has a lovely velvety finish. The shade in the review photo is NOT accurate so I added the color as shown when I purchased it.

I really love the formula. It has a slight shimmer, goes on easy like lipstick but stays longer than most. I have a tube of my mom’s different lipstick and it’s certainly not creamy like that, but doesn’t necessarily dry out your lips either.

I like that it doesn’t transfer too much onto mugs when drinking, and even has some staying power when eating. Now – bare pop. Really? This color doesn’t flatter anyone deeper than like, your foundation shade number 20.

I’m still working on finding mine, but it’s definitely in the 30-50 color range. It’s a terrible shade to put in a gift box. I’m East Asian, but slightly tanned. Bare pop makes my lips look lighter than they actually are.

I’m going to be a Pretty Vulgar rider for life I think lol. They have one of the best working and cutest setting sprays. I have 2 of these and I love the packaging. The lids are stunning with the roses.

Sadly the one shade is very metallic and dark and not for me but I couldn’t bring my self to give it away (I should of) only used it like 2x and that was for trying/swatching. The color that I didn’t like I got in boxy and I think we all got the same color that month – some months or most months they have multiple shades picked at random/to your profile.

Bought this one a whim because I got it on sale and was looking for something to help my dry winter lips. I was pretty disappointed with this product. It does go on smooth but I didn’t like that it is matte.

Even with one swipe, I could see the white on my lips and with being matte, it didn’t look pleasant to me. This is now just something that I will put on while I’m at home or before going to bed. Definitely do not think it’s worth full price.

Found this while browsing at Marshall’s the other day and have been using it while at home and under my mask. It’s nice and light on my lips and feels moisturizing. I love the fact that it doesn’t get stuck to my mask like other lip products have been.

I still need to try with a liquid matte lipstick and see if it helps with the dryness. So far I’m a happy camper.

This stuff reminds me of the paste from my kindergarten days. It’s a bit clumpy and feels very tacky/grippy after it’s dried down. It leaves a sheer, dull, white film on my lips and feels quite drying.

Any bit of primer not covered by lipstick looks like a pasty film. It’s important to apply a single thin layer of this primer, otherwise the clumpy paste effect increases. I didn’t notice a “subtle bee-stung effect,” but it did fill in some wrinkles.

I tested this beneath a liquid lip gloss I knew would feather a lot without a primer (Smashbox Be Legendary Liquid Lip in Iced Out-one of my favorite colors). This primer’s so grippy, I had a hard time dragging the gloss applicator over it.

This made it difficult to get a precise outline of color. But it did extend the life of Iced Out, so it’s not a terrible primer. I’m afraid to try it under a very drying liquid matte though, because this primer’s pretty drying itself.

Overall, it does a much better job than the Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone pencil but not MAC Prep + Prime Lip, which I prefer. Tip: Don’t use this primer outside your lip line. An overline of this stuff will encourage lipstick to bleed/feather.

It won’t act as a barrier. For that, you’ll need to use a lip liner and keep this primer within your lip line. Do that and your lipstick will stay glued to wherever you laid down this primer, with no feathering.

I’ll only use this primer for extra feathery/bleeding lipsticks. Otherwise I’ll stick with my MAC primer.

I got this as part of the free 16-piece sample and enhoyed it enough to get more lip primers. This was the first lip primer I ever used, so I can’t compare to other brands, however it definitely kept my liner/base on most of the day! Lipsticks would stay on longer also, but would atill need to be touched up after eating/drinking (same with the glosses).

It goes on a white/clear color and dries clear. You can feel it drying and can rell when it’s readybecauae it will feel a bit sticky if you pout your lips together, although it doesnt last once lipstick is applied.

No t really sure if its hydrating or not, though (didn’t see a difference). Overall it’s pretty good and helps keep that stubborn lip stuff stay on longer! I did get Too Faced’s lip insurance after (they’re only $1 apart in price) so I can have something to compare it to and make a decision which one is better for the money.

This lip primer puzzled me. When I first tried it, I let it dry and then put my lipstick on. Very hard to put lipstick over it. Tugged on my lips a lot so I was afraid I was doing it wrong. Then I put my lipstick over it while it was still slick and my lipstick slid right off in two seconds! So I came to Ulta to see how to wear it, I was very disappointed.

It has to dry first. I will not use any product that tugs on my lips, that includes very dry matte lipstick and this stuff. I’m 52 and can’t afford products that are drying and tugging on my already fragile lips.

Do not recommend at all.

This came in a subscription beauty box that was sent to me for reviewal. Lot’s of good products were included, but this was not one I cared for. I’ve never used any of Mellow Cosmetic products prior to this, so I was openminded.

The packaging is very simple and pretty. The color I had is called “Tehran” which I didn’t get to pick, but is one I probably would have chosen had that been an option. It looked like a perfect, neutral color for everyday wear.

Which is why I am disappointed with ti. Upon opening the lip paint, I noticed that the name was a more accurate description than I originally thought. It had a weird scent that reminded me of paint and play dough.

It isn’t overwhelmingly strong, but it’s still obnoxious enough that, had I personally purchased this, I would have immediately contacted the brand to replace or return. I still, wanted to give it a chance though, so I applied this to my lips with the wand.

I don’t mind the texture of the formula. It applied good enough on my lips. I didn’t experience any patchiness or irritation. It is a bit drying, but that’s been my experience with most matte liquid lipsticks, so I just apply a balm first.

What I didn’t like was that, as much as I liked the color in the packing, it dried down to a color that was two shades darker. I don’t expect the pigment in cosmetics to be exactly the same as it looks in the container, but this was really pushing it for me.

Is it an ugly color? No. Still, it bugs me. The longevity is good, and I like that it didn’t transfer, but the cons make it very difficult for me to justify its $18 price tag. Maybe, this was a faulty batch, or other colors have better payoff, so I’m willing to give them another shot in the future, but this first impression wasn’t great.

All ll the shades were flattering on me. They all were cool or neutral toned so I was able to pull off the looks with these. If you prefer more of a warm toned lipstick, I think only certain colors might work for you (I say this because it seems like most lipsticks are warm toned).

The formula was more of a comfort matte so while it is long lasting, you probably would want to do a touch up after eating or drinking. I also found that you had to put on a couple of layers to give you more of a matte look.

The formula reminds me of Stila’s Sheer Liquid Lipstick line, however there is no awful sunless tan smell (Stila’s liquid lipsticks smell awful when you apply them). Interested in buying the color Rome.

Love this lipstick colour! Glides on beautifully and dries down matte but natural. Long lasting and stays on while drinking. Super light weight, you forget it is there. Love that it is an nz brand. Got this particular shade for my bridesmaids and would fully reccomend looking at the shades if you have a wedding or event, or even just for everyday wear.

It smells nice, and applies easily. It also holds the lipstick pigment very well.

I have incredibly dry flaky lips, and I am pained by how often my lips are peeling back. This was not a cure, but it is the first time in my life where my lips aren’t flaking daily (almost weekly). I still have to use lip scrubs before applying, but putting this on overnight works.

It works better and lasts longer than most lip balms on the market. I had doubts as I’ve invested in higher cost beauty products before only to get the same results as general store beauty products but when it comes to my lips this one is probably the best product I’ve encountered.

I think I can put the lip balm quest to halt, finally. Worth the purchase.

Absolutley love this balm. Keeps my lips nice for hours and incredibly soothing if by chance they do get chapped or dry. Love the subtle minty fragrance which I at first was sceptical because I don’t like mint but it’s subtle and pleasant.

Perfect consistency too, I find most balms too slick and greasy feeling, can’tstand them and end up wiping them off. This is a thicker consistency without feeling heavy and stays in place. Stoked to have found such a good product!.

Really helps to hydrate my lips. I do see a slight plumping effect but nothing dramatic which is ok. There is a slight tingling effect when you put this on I presume from the peppermint but it’s a pleasant tingle not a “omg My lips are on fire!” Feeling.
