This rollator is very heavy and hard to get in the car. Also, the brakes are practically useless. They do not stop at all. I can only use the product in the house on a flat surface. Seat is comfortable, but too high.
It is very wide and just barely fits through the doors in my home. I would NOT buy again. There are other, cheaper bariatric rollators that are lighter, not as wide and have working brakes.
This is the second one of this model that I have bought. The first one served me very well for five years even though the hand brakes didn’t work. So I thought I’d buy the same model again because of its sturdiness, I thought the brakes not working was a fluke.
But when i got the new one home and put it together the brakes were already messed up again! One was so tight it didn’t connect with the wheel and the other was pressed tightly against the wheel. And they wouldn’t adjust.
within a couple of weeks one of the back swivel wheels made a crack as i was using it. it hit a bump in the sidewalk. Now the back wheel is leaning and whobbly. I don’t trust it enough to sit on it. It’s going back to thestore in a couple of days.
Walmart has been great about returning it. I gave it three stars because the last one served me so well. But if it was ust based on my new one I’d give it a one.
The Rollator is perfect for me. WalMart offers this at a very good price. It is a very nice unit. The seat is wide and comfortable. I am 5’2″ so I have to be sure and lock the brakes before I sit on the seat because the seat is a little high for me and my feet don’t touch the floor.
The back rest is straight, not curved, and isn’t comfortable, but I didn’t buy it to sit, I bought it to help me be more stable while walking, which it does do. The color is burgundy and very nice, The basket is a nice size and removes easily when needed.
It was missing an attachment pin. WalMart tried to help us replace it through the manufacturer, but the manufacturer was uncooperative. We own a repair facility so we were able to find an attachment pin through one of our suppliers.
It only cost a few dollars to buy, but it was very inconvenient. The wheels roll well making the Rollator easy to maneuver. The brakes work well too. I am 66 and the Rollator is a little heavy for me to lift in and out of my trunk, but I do manage to do it.
I put a blanket over my bumper and slide the Rollator in my trunk. Works more easily that way. I don’t have to try to lift it up and over my bumper to get it in the trunk and I’m sure not to scratch my Mercedes car (which would make me very unhappy if I did that).
Except for the pin replacement issue, I am pleased with my purchase. The Rollator is sturdy and exactly what I need. I’m happy that I bought it and I wish that I had bought it sooner.

Bought this for my 88 years young mom who became unsteady on uneven outdoor terrain. A year of self isolating has meant less exercise. We tested in the park with a picnic lunch. Adjusting fit, opening & closing her “four wheeler” easy.
She was able cut over the grass, navigate sand, playground mulch, and gravel. We went up and down hills, all while she carried our bagged lunch & her purse in the zip compartment😁 She turned it around & sat at the end of our usual picnic table, locked the brakes easily.
She was very happy to have a clean seat with back support, no climbing over a dirty picnic table bench. This was purchased by me a concerned daughter with many years experience as an R. N. I want my mom to have safety & freedom of mobility & maintain her independence for as long as possible.
Mom’s an independent, smart, proud lady. We had a laugh as she went her usual distance in double time & was able to have head up enjoying the scenery. We can’t wait to try it in the mall, she will be able to go further, faster & in safety with a place for purse & her shopping bag.
The mall has all the chairs corded off due to covid protocols so having a seat to rest in is a big bonus. Love the sturdy wheels, no brake cables to get caught up on things, quality construction. We were both pleased, I’m happy & have peace of mind.
who knows what adventures we’ll have now we can “4 wheel” this town, ha!.
The unit is built fare, the problem I see with it is that the stability of the arms and handles are not as stable as other units. You can take hold of the handles and if you push and pull them, they do move a little.
This also twist the unit where it makes one front wheel come off the ground. If there was a cross member put in a strategic place, it would be much more solid. Also, the screws that hold the back support is designed bad.
Ehen you tighten the plastic nut, the screw itself goes to the indide, and the cap that is put on the screw sticks to the inside and tends to stick into your rib cage. Also, you should be able to remove the back strap if you want, but you would have to break off the cover of the screw.
Take the step toward having the freedom of mobility no matter where life takes you. The Ultralight Freedom Rolling Walker by Medline makes this possible by adding stability and reducing stress on your body, which helps you walk faster and farther.
I bought two different brands of walkers recently, and although both have their place in my home this one is not the most comfortable. This one maneuvers well on hardwood floors and in the kitchen. But, the seat cushion is super poor quality foam.
The hardwire basket is annoying, because you have to completely remove it when putting the walker in the trunk of your car. Not super bad but just annoying (easy to remove if you don’t need it). The price on this thing is pretty reasonable.
I’m only starting up with four stars right now because of other people’s comments about wheel failure. I’m 300 lbs, and even though this walker says it will handle much more, I still can’t comprehend why companies will skimp on wheels.
They do it with everything; walkers, office chairs, stools, movable shelving, etc. I think most of us would agree if these companies would spend more money on wheels, the extra pound or two would be worth it! Having said that, the wheels have a slight rubberized compound on the outside, which helps with breaking and overall comfortableness.
My other Walker has pneumatic tires which to me are far superior, but still have their issues.
This walker is a deluxe model. It’s great if you don’t have to lift it into a vehicle or go through narrow doorways. It performs well on different terrains- indoor and out (not sand though of course).
However it does not fold easily or compactly. It basically stays the same height but gets thinner when folded. It also tends to pop open. So if you can easily lift 19-22 lbs of an awkward item this is great.
If you are a wider person who needs a real seat, this is great. I got this for my dad. He loves being able to sit in this but its too heavy for him to use on his own. It is also too wide for crowded areas like restaurants so he feels very self conscious when out in public sometimes.
For now it is used in the home only and when he can get someone to help load it into the suv. it takes up all the space of the back of honda crv and even then its a little bit of tetris to get it to lay right and fit.

This style of walker is better for me than my regular rolling walker that I used for the arthritis in my knee and back because I also have sore shoulder problems, which this style helps to alleviate.
When I used my regular style walker my shoulders would end up hurting me more than my knee and back, limiting the amount of time I could walk. I was alright just going around the house, but I couldn’t walk around a store, so I would have to use my wheelchair instead.
And I also couldn’t walk around outside to get some exercise either, so I began to gain weight. This is why I decided to try this style to see if it would help where my shoulders were concerned, and it has.
—As others have said, it does take some getting used to at first. With this style, you are walking in between the legs, which are longer than the regular style and is a bit wider too (I noticed this going through doorways).
This walker has the same type of wheels as my regular walker does. Most of the weight is on the front part of the walker with this one, which makes it bit harder to operate on rough surfaces, such as a gravel driveway (which I have).
If you hit a medium size rock with your wheel, then it wants to tip forward. I placed my ankle weights on the back legs to help with the weight distribution and that helped with the rock problem. —I found that if you need to roll over something, such as a water hose stretched across your driveway, then they have little levers by the back wheels that you press on with your foot that will allow you to lift the front up a bit to go over something like that.
—There is no problem walking on with this on smoother surfaces such as wood, tile, sidewalks, parking lots, and such. I don’t have carpet so I don’t know how it does on there. —The bag that comes with it is not as big as the one on my other walker.
You also have to consider how big this one is when it comes to getting it into your vehicle and how you will transport it, as it is bigger than a regular one and takes up more space. —I had to try several different levels with the arm rests for a day at a time before I found the one that was the most comfortable for my shoulders.
If you don’t have should problems, then you might no be as picky as I was in finding the right level. —Overall, I am quite happy with this walker as it has allowed me to be up and about more and hopefully to get more walking time in now.
There’s several things about this walker that I do not like. It’s somewhat heavier than my previous walker by about 5 lbs. The back rest is not as padded. The seat is not as padded (feels harder and less comfortable).
There’s only one strap to pull up on when closing the walker which has caused numerous problems where I or another person yank on the strap and it doesn’t even budge to get the walker closed when putting into a car, etc.
The brake handles are designed in such a way that things get hung on them such as a purse, a paper bag, etc. They are designe in a a curved open type of way whereas my other walker it was a closed type of handle where nothing gets hung on it.
Also, where the legs assemble, they have knobs on the outside of the holes where you adjust the height. These darn knobs catch on things as you walk by or even poke out and scrape the wall, etc. My other walker was not assembled with knobs that stick out on the sides.
I hate the knobs. I am going to try to get my other walker repaired (the wheel fell off), because I much prefer it over this one. Is this a terrible walker? Well, it depends on what you want. These things that I am pointing out here are the “little” things that a user of this type of equipment knows makes a big difference.
Hopefully I have given you food for thought before making the purchase and you can now make a better informed purchase instead of just buying something without the knowledge.
I will start with the fact that the product turn out to be fine and we quite like it. However the Walmart Box had clearly been opened and then resealed with clear tape, as you might imagine this leads one to suspect the worst.
Second the internal box for the Medline Steel Rollator Walker was also clearly opened and resealed “Ay Caramba”. STRIKE TWO! At this point I opened the Walker box thinking the worst. I went to the instructions and quickly laid out the all the component parts.
I noticed that several pieces (screws, fasteners, washers) were missing from the parts bag. At the same time I noticed that some of the Walker was assembled. Fortunately I found all of the parts were there just not where they were supposed to be.
Someone had clearly returned this product and the disassembly process was not complete before it was repackaged. ON THIS OCCASSION THE RESULT WAS FINE BUT I’M NOT SURE I WOULD BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM WALMART THAT IS NOT CARRIED IN THE STORE AND CAN BE RETURNED TO THE STORE FOR CREDIT OR REPLACEMENT.
I ordered this rollator because I thought it was identical to one I bought 20 years ago. The old one was perfect in all ways for me. I was so happy to find it until I got it assembled and found that it was much smaller and more cheaply made than the original.
I kept it because sending it back was too big of a choir. Fingers crossed that it holds up even half as long as my first one. My son used parts from the first one to ease my pain, mainly by switching the tiny seat and bag that goes on under the seat.

I was disappointed when my husband put this together for me. The color wasn’t a royal blue as shown here or on the box. It ended up being a dark navy. But I used it yesterday for the first time and outside in the sunshine the color actually wasn’t bad.
Also, I was worried about the feel of the handle grips. They have different ridges on them (maybe supposed to be ergonomic or something) and I was afraid the brake handles were too far down for my hands to reach.
But they turned out to be okay. It sure helped me to walk in a store and I could sit down periodically. Otherwise, I’d had to have been in my wheelchair which was a hassle with my husband pushing me.
How were we supposed to use a cart? We had to use a basket which I held on my lap. I’m now looking forward to going in stores again. Now we need one for my hubby. He got worn out!.
I ordered my walker months ago. The first one was lost prior to delivery, WalMart was great about getting a replacement to me. When it arrived I immediately began putting it together. The E clamps just would not fasten.
My neighbor came in and tried, and he couldn’t get them to snap closed either. I spend 2 hours on them the first day, an hour the next day and then I called customer service. that was NO help. The fellow I got sent me the quick start guide digitally.
I had already told him I had it in front of my, hard copy. He had no suggestions. Finally he sent me more E clamps, which don’t work any better. Finally one clamp fastened after the walker had been sitting in the sun and the clamp material became a bit more pliable.
I’ve now got 3 of them fastened, but hours and hours of trying with the final clamp has me pretty depressed. It just will NOT fasten. This is my 5th or 6th Hugo. I’m tall so I feel safer using the HUGO than other, smaller walkers.
But overall they tend to break. lasting about a year, maybe two. The first one had a wheel snap off, Another had the shaft going to the wheel break. I can’t imagine how that could happen. So now I just buy another one before the one I have breaks.
I can’t walk or even stand without holding on to something. The E clamps were not this impossible to fasten on any of the other HUGO walkers I bought.
I really like this Hugo Elite Rollator. It wasn’t hard to assemble, but I have very little strength in my arms and it took me quite a while to get it all together. I’m a simple minded person and I followed the directions and had it together in about 34 minutes.
I have no complaints about this great product. I read all the reviews and it seems the most common reviews where about unfolding the Hugo. I had no problem raising or folding it up and I’m a weak person.
I would highly recommend this product. Mine came with a saddle bag and cup/cane holder which I really like cause I’m always drinking something! Thank You for carrying such a great product and it arrived 21 days early!!.
Supreme value comfort and mobility it was designed for those who want unmatched value along with proven comfort and convenience. With a sturdy and long-lasting frame made of lightweight aluminum this walker is durable yet easy to move around over all surfaces giving you outstanding value unmatched comfort independence and ease of movement.
Have the freedom of mobility when and where you need it with the Medline Ultra Lightweight Freedom Rolling Rollator walker. This device makes you more mobile by adding stability. It also reduces stress on your body, which helps you walk faster and farther.
At only 11 pounds, this durable Medline rollator walker is 40 percent lighter than most wheeled walkers available. Its reinforced aluminum frame is safe and easy to maneuver, and the swivel front wheels and easy grip brakes provide added control, even across rough terrain.
This Medline Ultra Lightweight Rollator can support users weighing up to 250 lbs. The height of the handgrips and seat is adjustable and suitable for users from 4’11 inch to 6’4 inch, so it’s versatile and customizable for a wide variety of users.
This little rollator really is as light as they say, at only 10 lbs. I can easily get it out of my trunk myself without further injury to my back (spinal stenosis) when I’m out by myself somewhere where I need a rollator instead of a cane.
There are some tradeoffs, however. The seat is very narrow and not terribly comfortable, and the backrest digs into my back, so I wouldn’t recommend it for long periods of sitting. My other, larger rollator is much more comfortable in that regard, but it weighs 25 lbs.
and I just can’t manage to get it in and out of the trunk myself without risking my back. When I’m going somewhere with my husband along, I go for the heavier one. But if I’m on my own, this 10 lb. model is great and gives me confidence and peace of mind.
Makes a great second rollator; happy with my purchase!.
My son bought this walker for me on Amazon, and it was perfect for my needs over what I was plaining to get. A great improvement over the standard ones with wheels on no wheels. If you are plaining to sit on it for long periods the back brace is not anything to write home about, and can cause a sore on your back.
It has great mobility how every the rear wheels need to be moved inside the frame as to give it a tad more clearance on standard inside doors in most houses. I’m 6’5″ and the handles have a 7″ adjustment which is perfect for my size.
I was looking at a upright walker, but my Son picked this one and I’m greatful for his choice. He was right this was more what I need then a oversized up right model. The price and quality of this walker makes it a great buy.
The VA is ordering me a 4 wheel walker but I got impatient. I bought this one fromthe web, but it is EXACTLY what i was looking for. Weighs only 11 lbs. (important tome as I can’t left much anymore).
I will probably leave this in the trunk of my car. I did a tour of an expensive senior living, and there was a 4 wheeler parked. I tried tolift it but it felt like it weighed a ton. This has got to be the best buy ever!Since i first posted the above I BOT A 2nd ONE TO LEAVE IN THE TRUNK OF MY CAR.
I love this one, i place my trash bag on the seat and go walking down the long hall to dispose. I walk without the pain, I don’t worry about falling and I can put the parking brake on and sit down and rest.

love most aspects of this walker, my only personal problem is the handles are too big for me with the brake bar sticking out sideways. as i said that is personal because i travel a lot and figured out how i can manage the walker with a suitcase on each side.
but that is my only situation with it. it fits behind my driver seat in the car. my friend and i got the same one and we both love it. thanks.

I purchased this walker for my 85 year old father that has been battling Parkinsons. He was very hesitant about using a walker, he had been using a used one and said that he struggled because he felt it was too low.
I researched looking for a walker that was adjustable to a taller setting than the standard walkers and came across this one. Was extremely happy with everything about it. Very Sharp looking from top to bottom, the color combination is awesome.
He walks with pride while strolling thru the streets now. A neighbor who also uses a walker liked it so much, he just ordered the same one for himself. Even though this walker is quit a bit wider than the standard walkers, the lift handle on the seat makes it quite easy to compact the walker to get thru tighter or smaller areas and my dad can do it in his week condition, so that was a plus as well.
So far, everything about this walker was well worth every penny we paid.
This feels built well and is a great way to move when you need one. I got the additional parts to slow down the wheels and love them. Absolutely an amazing well built product. Definitely recommend. Would be nice to have something more comfortable to rest arms on but not a huge issue.
I’m 6ft2 200lbs and thought this was going to be the right walker for myself until the master cylinder let go, and the power of the shock tossed me over top of my now upside down walker landing on top.
My front wheels were just on the street when it gave away but after that. I and the walker was now 4ft from the curb of an intercession by time I got sorted out what happened and the damage done from this bent the front wheel housing same side as the shock that let go.
it was time to cross again. Needless to say I’m now scared of this walker. Next time I’m going with a solid frame. The walker is 9 months old, 3 times this issue has been fixed by the place I got it from.
I’m in bed 90% of the day and when I go out once a month, it’s never more then 3 blocks. I can’t trust this walker just like I can’t trust my own legs. Buyer beware, one day I hope to get a solid frame again.
It has a lightweight aluminum easy fold frame. It boasts all terrain front wheels, and height adjustable seat back and handles for comfort. Wheels make a Rollator a superior option over a standard walker, eliminating the need to lift the device and allowing you to walk with an easy, smooth gait.
I got this walker for my 98-3/4 year old father. He loves it! He has received so many compliments on it and he feels like he got a new fancy car. 😀 It is very easy for me to load/unload into the back of my car.
It is everything I wanted for him:Durable, a sturdy comfortable seat to sit on if he gets tired, gentle breaking function as he goes down his steep driveway, easy to use locking hand breaks, a pouch he can put his mail in and more! He has been using it for over a.
I purchased the DLX model with firm foam seat. Handle height and back support height are easily adjustable. This is a delight to use, easily maneuverable and the back support is comfortable beyond measure.
It has a weight capacity of up to 300 lbs. Great outside over sidewalk cracks, not for use on most grassy areas. Since the shipping weight is 28. 5 lbs. it might require a fragile or elderly person to have 2 people remove it from the exterior & interior shipping boxes which are large due to being already assembled and shipped in a folded position.
I advise removing carefully and saving the plastic bag in which it is wrapped because that bag can serve as a dust cover if needed, even in an unfolded position, provided children or pets don’t have access.
When folded it requires storage space 10″ wide, 40″ high, and 29″ deep. The DLX model weighs over 4 lbs. more than the sling seat model due to the seat and metal bar supports for the seat. This seat is very sturdy and will comfortably accommodate a hip spread of 16″ and an upper back spread of 18″.
The cushion depth area is 10. 5″. It has a pull up handle recessed into the center of the seat to easily pull up to fold the unit for storage. The handle is not felt when seated. For prolonged sitting, and only if one has a very bony bottom & upper leg, it might be comfort helpful to have handy a small 1″ thick foam strip cushion to cover the exposed front bar support under the front of the sturdy but comfortable foam seat.
Foam weather stripping sold for air conditioners would serve this purpose nicely if needed. This is a rollator and not a transport chair; therefore, it has no leg rests. Seat height is 20″ and feet should touch the floor when seated.
Brakes must be firmly applied when used for seating and the rollator must not be moved while someone is seated. Hand brakes work very smoothly and easily when walking but I recommend using 2 hands alternately on each side to apply and release the strong “seating brake position” in order not to pinch a finger.
I see no reason to remove the provided zip storage bag which could be used to store the instructions booklet and a photocopy of proof of purchase/ownership in case the rollator gets lost in a medical emergency.
A dust cover and a spare lap blanket would also fit in there, capacity is 11 lbs. A cup holder and a cane holder would add usefulness. One feature to consider with this model, it could be too heavy for some to load and unload from a car.
I have had this Nitro in red for 4 years. I truly feel secure when using it. My only complaint is that for me it can be heavy to lift in the car, However, I will buy another just like it when and if necessary.
My brother now is the happy owner of this and has many people admiring it!! Great value and workmanship! Thank you Joan.
Rollator Walkers by Hugo give you the mobility, convenience and portability that you need in a walker. This garnet red Elite Rollator has a 5. 1cm height adjustable built-in seat with backrest that provides a perfect place to sit and rest.
In addition, this mobility aid has a convenient under seat storage bag that provides security for your valuables. Hugo’s Rollator Walker has height adjustable handle bars for proper posture and ergonomic hand grips which place your hands at a natural angle for comfort and better brake access.
The tool-free assembly makes this mobility aid quick and easy to set up, simple to fold down for easy storage and even fits into most car trunks. Hugo’s Elite Rolling Walker is designed to support adults up to 140kg.
and is well suited for those rehabilitating an injury, dealing with severe arthritis or those who have conditions that compromise their balance. With extra large 20cm wheels, this rollator gives you reliable stability for more confidence and security when walking indoors or outdoors and includes a saddle bag for extra storage.
Lots of storage pockets and under the seat storage which is useful for transporting an oxygen machine. I really like having the saddlebag pouch hanging from the back bar instead of being down low by the seat.
The wheels are slick plastic and go a little wonky when you lean on the handles but they go straight when you don’t lean. Seems like leaning on the handles is kind of an expected thing. The brake cables are exposed and tend to get in the way.
When folded up the walker is not very compact. The handles stick out a long way. You would need a good sized vehicle to haul it. I don’t think just a regular sedan car trunk would do it. Perhaps standing it up in the back seat would work.
Well designed in many ways and suits my needs but it does have some issues.
Excellent. I use this walker every time I got out to my car or walking my dog. I use it in the stores. This is a great walker it has big wheels, which makes it easier to go thresholds and smaller cracks in the sidewalk.
I like the handy bag on the back also. I bought some battery operated lights to wrap around the handle bars so we can use when walking our dog now that it’s getting dark earlier in the evening. They are for indoors, but I put battery pack in one of the pockets on the bag.
I’m glad I got tthis walker it’s a blessing for me. MY husband got his a few years ago and he’s just as happy with his as I am with mine.
I looked at a few walkers in local stores. This one was a good price compared to the stores (not the cheapest on e-bay. You get what you pay for. ) and good quality. I was able to assemble it easily without any tools.
I chose this one because the seat height and handle heights are adjustable. That was really handy. I adjusted it perfectly so my mother could sit comfortable with her feet on the floor. It is light weight which may allow her to use it on her own but we will take a few practice rounds together at the mall before I set her loose.
Not mentioned in the ad is that the seat size is about 14 inches across. There are about 2 extra inches on each side of the seat for a total of about 18 inches of sitting room. My mom is small framed and this is very comfortable for her.
Some of the others mentioned being 12 inches which I think would be a bit tight.
Get the perfect fit and features with The Zoom 18 Rolling Walker. Features include 8″ wheels, an under seat pouch, a padded seat, our patented feather touch hand brakes, flip up back, and self threading height adjustment knobs.
Like the walker. Bought one 3 years ago. Wanted another exactly like it to leave in the car. In between I bought a third for the basement. Do not like that brand at all although it was a better price.
Sturdy, love the 8 inch rubber wheels rather than plastic. They slip. Like the seat rather than a basket. Brakes are good. Like the colour options. It fits my car perfectly & I can still lift it in & out.
I like the way that it folds most of the time. Occasionally having the style that folds side to side rather than front to back would be more appropriate in places like a church. It depends on how you want to set it aside out of the way while not in use.
With this style you have a tendency to strike your legs when walking. The ones that fold side to side allow you to walk more in the “U” shape and not hit your shins. Tremendously over priced if purchased in Canada.
If at ll possible buy in USA and pay shipping & import fees.
I purchased it for my 96 year old mother. She loves the color & walks well w/it. I highly recommend this walker! Great quality & arrives mostly assembled. When she saw it she had a big smile! Thank You!.
From looking at others I believe this is the best made on the market. It’s sturdy , has big rubber wheels, not those cheap plastic ones, and the price is right. I would definently recommend and even advise anybody needing a walker, don’t look any farther than this!!! The Nova Zoom 24 Rolling Walker TALL Rollator BLUE 300 lb—is the one we purchased for my husband and we’re sold!!! God Bless.
A dual-purpose rollator and transfer chair is ideal for anyone wanting to maintain their independence and mobility. This 2-in-1 system offers users the ability to independently move or relax while being assisted by a caregiver.
It even folds for simple transport and storage! The Nitro Duet Rollator and Transport Chair from Drive Medical is comprised of a sleek, curved design that is unique compared to other transport chairs.
The chair is made so you can walk confidently when you’re able or sit back, relax, and allow a caretaker to push you when you need to rest. Designed with a cross-brace support structure, the device easily folds for compact storage and transport.
There is no need to worry about a brake cable becoming caught or snagged, because this design has the brake cables built into the frame. Additionally, this reversible rollator and transport chair includes a sturdy mesh storage bag that keeps your belongings in close accessibility.
Short version, if you can fork out the extra $$ this is an excellent walker for someone who needs to put their full weight on it and requires the walker to support them fully for their balance. Long version.
My mom is on the “thicker side” of the scale and she was scheduled to have lower back surgery to help with her sciatica pains. I needed to purchase a heavy duty walker that could support the full weight of my mom.
I am 5’10” 200 lbs and my brother is 6’3″ 270 lbs. We each did a set of “Bar Dips” holding onto only the handles of this walker. It did not sway, bend or tip backwards as we suspended ourselves in the air.
My mom is in the nursing home right now recovering and doing her PT. This walker hasn’t failed her in either of the three positions (walking, sitting for rest or transport position). This is not a wheel chair but the wheel chair legs that are permanently attached to this walker do come in handy at times.
This walker is heavier than her normal nova walker and I am not sure if she is going to be able to pick it up and put it into the back of her suv when she gets back home but we will cross that bridge when we get to that point.
This walker weighs about 5 to 8 lbs more than her regular walker but it isn’t too heavy. The word heavy all depends on if you are theone injured or not. For now, she is loving her fancy walker and loves the fact the handles are adjustable and so is the back support pad.
She also loves the fact that she is the only resident in the nursing home with this walker (she is a little vain). I’m just grateful that she is up and walking. That really cuts down on my concerns about bed soars.
I have no complaints about this walker. It has met and acceded my expectations. It does cost more but if you are looking for a walker / if you need a walker that doesn’t tip backwards and can support your entire weight, this may be the one for you.
The handles are easily adjustable, the back support pad is easily adjustable. This is handy because some people are shorty than others and you can place the back support pad either high up by your shoulder blades or down lower by the arch of your lower back.
Hope this helps someone that is considering purchasing this walker.
Dimensions of the seat is 42x12x19. 5 inches and the height is 35 inchesExperience the convenience and value of two outstanding products in a single safe, convenient aid to improving daily mobility with the Duet Rollator/Transport Chair from Drive Medical.
As a Rollator, the Duet surpasses a standard walker by eliminating the need to lift the device and allowing you to walk with an easy, smooth gait. It handles uneven, outdoor terrain with ease and provides a comfortable and convenient place to rest with its cushioned seat.
But the Duet is also a transport chair, making it great for being escorted around your home, or around the shopping mall. Simply lift the armrests, shift the backrest and lower the footrest into place, and your Duet is now a comfortable seat for you while a caregiver easily pushes you.
Assembly directions were definitely not clear, but managed to get the rollator to open up. Then to store it in the folded position was impossible as it wouldn’t stay folded and would pop open constantly.
Followed the directions but those were not helpful. I finally had to “jeri-rig” it closed with a large velcro fastener. NOT the best option but was the only way. The red knob would NOT tighten into the slot–kept going round and round.
Took off 1 star for that frustration only. Otherwise, it maneuvers well as I push my husband around and is very smooth. I like the large wheels and the ability to switch it from a walker to a push behind chair.
It was definitely money well spent. My ordered arrived in two days and everything was intact. The blue color is gorgeous. I purchased this item for my husband who has difficulty with walking for extended periods of time.
It got to the point where I noticed him withdrawing and not wanting to go anywhere because he couldn’t keep up with the walking pace of the grandchildren and I when out and about. This dual function transport wheelchair walker is a life-saver, especially for walking around in stores and large malls.
When he got tired of pushing it as a walker we just took turns pushing him after easily converting it to a transport wheelchair with the drop down foot rest. It was easy to push and easy to maneuver the wheels down tight store aisles.
I must admit that It did take me a few minutes at first to learn how to break it down to fit in the trunk of my Toyota Corolla, but practice makes perfect. I just needed to shift some things around that were already inside my trunk to make it fit.
It’s similar to breaking down a baby stroller and it weighs about twenty pounds. When you or your love one’s lifestyle starts becoming compromised because of difficulty with walking I would highly recommend that you purchase one because it’s cost efficient because you’re getting both a dual walker & transport wheelchair in one item.
The product is good, it serves the purpose. It doesn’t fold up the easiest or greatest like my other drive walker. I am unable to load/unload this one. The compartment under the seat has a handle to use to collapse the walker and it’s not durable.
The company was very prompt to send a replacement. Thank you for being prompt and sending a replacement quickly. I have a feeling this happens often, as it is detachable for a reason. I wish the walker seat was softer.
Safely and securely maneuver indoors and out with the Rollator by Vive. Featuring 8 sport wheels with a dual braking system, the rollator is designed to ensure stability on any surface. A wide seat and comfortable backrest allow individuals to rest comfortably as needed, safely supporting up to 300 pounds.
The compact rollator is durable and lightweight, folding down to easily fit in tight spaces such as the trunk of a car with its hinged and removable wheels. The rollator also includes a detachable storage bag to conveniently hold wallets, phones, drinks, and more.
This is my second rollator and I am SO happy with this one! I had a “basic”, common-type of rollator. Although it served me well, it was no where near as sturdy, had small wheels, exposed cables which caught on anything they passed, often was too wide to fit through many spaces, and was too large to transport in my small SUV.
I had to sacrifice a passenger space in order to stand my folded rollator in back of the driver’s seat. After a lot of research, I found this one which for MANY reasons seemed to be just what I was looking for.
I was a little hesitant due to the weight of it being 6# heavier than my former one, but went ahead and tried it. I have been incredibly pleased with my decision! I especially love the way it folds—side-to-side, as opposed to front-to-back.
Likewise, I love the feature of the cables being enclosed; no hanging up on passing surroundings. I’m happy to say, it fits in the cargo hold of my little SUV; YESSSS!! The larger wheels are a great improvement, especially on uneven surfaces.
I miss the feature my former one had, of having a basket under the seat, but the satchel is good. Whenever facing a space which is narrower than “normal”, I only have to lift up the strap in the middle of the seat, and I can maneuver easily through the area or pathway.
This rollator is super sturdy and I feel secure when using it. SO many people have commented on how much they like it, and inquire of where I got it? I actually came on this website for a friend who asked me to purchase one for her.
(She wanted a red one, but I can’t seem to find one. Phooey!) I highly recommend this product! Thank you, Vive Health!.
I am a disable female of 57 years of age, has been disable since age 39 with MS and other comorbidities. Mobility is a big issue for me, but being independent is being most important in my Life situation, I don’t have any Family and not that many friends left.
I had a few different walkers, yet they were not ideal and I am always looking for another one, considering my limited financial situation. This VIVE Health Rollator was the one to attract my attention for the good price and and sport wheels, made of TPR – most of the other wheels are made from PVC and not that great with traction on different surfaces.
I called directly VIVE Health instead of ordering from Amazon (it was a longer Delivery), talk with very nice and professional Customer Service Rep Val, called next day with the order (dealing with another kind CSR Daniella) and received my Rollator next day (by UPS, from Florida to Northern California).
Everything was done in 2 days and I am a happy Customer with new great Rollator, these sport wheels do make a difference! Thank you VIVE Health!.
The VIVE HEALTH company have the best Walker Rollator – Lightweight Foldable Walker in the market!!. Not only are their products technically designed with the user in mind, they also have the best customer support to assist the buyers with their questions and concerns.
Kate (customer service representative) was so knowledgable, efficient and knew so much about the product!! She guided me with the best options with their products. not only that she also honored my request for a discount!! A really kind and sweet person every business should have to help their customers!! Kate, Many Thanks!!.
If you’re seeking a safe, convenient aid to improving your daily mobility, a Rollator can be the ideal solution. Wheels make a Rollator a superior option over a standard walker, eliminating the need to lift the device and allowing you to walk with an easy, smooth gait.
Plus, Rollators are better for travelling over uneven, outdoor terrain, making them great for your active, busy lifestyle. And with the built-in seat found on a Rollator, you’ll always have a convenient place to rest.
Drive’s Aluminum Rollator with Fold Up and Removable Back Support is the perfect unit to suit your needs and your style. It’s designed and built for maximum comfort, durability, and ease of use with quick folding ability and simple handle height and angle adjustment.
It has a seamless padded seat for maximum seated comfort. The backrest is also padded and the large wheels ensure smooth travel over a variety of different terrains. It even has a convenient, zippered pouch for privately and securely carrying items with you on the go.
My husband has 31 inseam but torso of a 64 or more tall man, though he is only 61 tall. We needed the 35 height handle, or so we thought. We only got 32 inches at the tallest setting. Husband refused to try it before his back surgery.
It is WAY too low and too late to return it now. I now know we need the 39 high handle. I am 54 and the height was great for me. He is NOT suppose to hunch NOR LEAN on the rollator, just balance as a rollator can get ahead of you if you dont walk close enough to the seat.
It is the reason most insurance companies will not cover them anymore. They are not designed tall enough to walk completely erect for the sizes they state, and like I stated before, my 54 stature with long torso and short legs, were perfect to walk completely erect.
It folded beautifully and fit behind the seat of my Toyota Camry and the Nissan Versa. It does have a little trouble going into the trunk with the back bar as it is a tight squeeze for the Toyota Camry.
The bar is removable, but then you have to keep up with where you put it. One back wheel was about a 1/4 inch shorter or bent which kept the brake from being useful when there was no weight bearing on the walker.
If there is some weight applied, then it locks, but, doctor does not want him to put his weight on it as this just allows legs to become weaker and arms stronger. This is a great walker for a shorter person that just need balance.
However, if they have shorter legs of say an inseam of 28 or less like my mom, order a child size walker for the seat to be close enough to the floor for use. This one worked for my 29 inseam fairly well and husband with 31 inseam did well.
We ordered the red which was more of a slightly cranberry red. It is pretty. The seat has a nylon basket attached under it. The hidden metal pull-up-to-fold rod is accessed by grabbing the bottom of the nylon basket and getting hold of the metal bar to pull up.
This is very easy. There is no solid bottom which could eas.

I was even more excited with this product once it arrived. Not only does it offer a lightweight/foldable option for ease of transport, but also came with basket on bottom, convenient water/phone/wallet holder on top, extra (removable) seat/knee cushion, AND height-adjustable handle option so that people do not have to slouch over as you would using a normal walker.
Which, let’s face it, how productive/comfortable is it when someone who needs walking assistance has to constantly slouch. Thank you for this feature, especially!! Highly Recommend A++.
We got this for going to concerts, visiting other people, and excursions where a seat for a long time is not needed. It folds fairly compactly, fits behind the front seat of the car, and can be carried up and down stairs with one hand.
The 14 pounds is not too heavy, although I wish it were lighter. It came promptly and in good condition. Instructions for assembly were not clear, but it was not hard to figure out how to attach the handlebars by looking carefully at pictures.
It handles well inside, although my husband folds it slightly because it is so wide. It does reasonably well outside, but must be lifted to get over steep threshholds or breaks in the sidewalk. The seat has some padding (the display model we saw in another store did not).
It is okay for sitting for short durations, although we put foam on the crossbars on the front of the rollator to make it a little more comfortable.
I received the EZ Fold-N-Go Rollator by Stander through a manufacturer promotion. I have health conditions that require the use of a 4 wheel walker. Mine has handles with brakes, a large basket and generous seat.
The only problem with it is that only the sides fold in. Shopping or walking with it is cumbersom. The EZ Fold-N-Go Rollator is a very convenient, well made collapsable unit. The color of model 4350BW, walnut brown that I received, is much too masculine for a woman.
It comes in a Cobalt Blue and a Regal Rose which I would have preferred. Aside from that detail, I enjoy being able to easily manuever around my home as this walker has 6″ wheels that move well over carpeting or hardwood floors.
On the front of the walker is a plentiful divided pocket organizer. It’s great for my mail, glasses and yes, even the television remote. The bottom has a nice size mesh basket but I found I can only use it for light weight items like a lap blanket or slippers if I need them.
My complaint is the VERY narrow and hard, actually uncomfortable seat it comes with. The cross bars of the unit make for a back rest but again, I was fearful of falling off the seat. It has a tab between the two seat cushions which you pull up when you need to close the Rollator for storage.
This mobility assist is made of high-grade aircraft aluminum, this rollator is the perfect combination of lightness and durability. The brakes are easy to use use as they are part of the handle, you just press down and it locks the unit for security when sitting or standing.
Another great benefit is that you can adjust the height of the walker for your needs. I am tall and have it on the 36″mark for my own use. Convenience and storage and being able to collapse it on an as needed basis are definitely a plus.
My only complaint is the seat. I need to sit frequently when out so I think I’ll use my old unit with the full size seat for my security and comfort.
Drive Clever-Lite Patient Rollator allows individuals to be seated or to use it as a traditional walker by raising the seat to step inside the frame. This rollator easily folds with a dual lever, side paddle release, and comes with a soft, flexible backrest for comfort and stability while seated.
It can easily and conveniently change caster wheels from swivel to fix with a lift and turn of a pin. The caster wheels provide a smooth transportation over most surfaces.
This walker represents a decent design concept executed very poorly and its all because of the cheap plastic wheels used and how they are mounted to the frame. The ultra cheap plastic wheels used on a walker in this price range is a disgrace as they won’t even roll over the smallest of obstacles without jamming and sliding making this walker useless outdoors.
Also, the front mechanism that allows the front wheels to either pivot or lock in place is so flimsy it flexes all the time and adds to the wheel jamming issue, and to top it all off the wheels don’t turn smoothly even on smooth surfaces due to a poor, cheap mounting set up! I’m heading off to buy a NOVA Zoom 24 and will gladly pay the extra money because of the good quality wheels and mounting methods used.
I wish I would have known about NOVA brand walkers before wasting my hard earned money on this over priced piece of garbage.
My 90 year old mother broke her hip 3 yrs ago, and has been using a(nother) walker ever since. I was told about this “Drive” walker by a vet who just got one, and it is FAR superior to what Mom had, even tho it is ‘similar’.
The wheels are bigger, so it travels much easier (she couldn’t go on dirt or sand access paths) outside AND inside. It’s lighter and the release handles to fold it up are easier to manage. The pull down seat is handy for taking things across the room, or sitting on.
Apparently it is slightly higher too (even tho the old one was adjustable), so she is more comfortable walking. Worth every penny!.
Drive Medical Nitro Elite CF features a luxurious super lightweight carbon fiber frame, the sleek Nitro Elite CF Rollator was designed for swift and effortless mobility. Drive Medical Nitro Elite CF features a luxurious super lightweight carbon fiber frame, the sleek Nitro Elite CF Rollator was designed for swift and effortless mobility.
The large 10″ front wheels and sturdy braking system allow for optimal steering and control. The handle height adjusts easily with the push of a button, and the seat is durable yet comfortable. The Nitro Elite CF folds easily to ultra-compact size, and the deluxe zippered bag provides convenient storage on the go.
First of all, the specs on this are mixed up. One says, “This weighs only 12 lbs. ” But the other near the bottom says, “Actual Product Weight: 14. 5 lbs. ” So which is it Drive Medical? Or are you trying to confuse people here into thinking the product is lighter than it really is? Okay, now the aluminum walker which is completely identical to this one except for the side frames weighs 17.
5 lbs. Wow, so you save a whopping 3 lbs. when you pay three times the money for the carbon fiber model. I know carbon fiber is expensive but come on here. Drive Medical is dreaming of their cash register going Ka-ching, while they peddle this “premium” product.
Watch the laughable short video they have of this walker. Yuppie adults are watching their rich Mommy and Daddy getting married and both are using this walker. Anchor yourself back to Earth and stick with the aluminum model and let the deep pocket fools buy this one.
My wife uses the carbon fiber and we have the aluminum version in Red. 3 lbs do make a difference for her as it does not cause her to have back muscle spasms taking it out. The height of the Subaru Forester is perfect height for her to get it out and put in on her own.
Too bad the carbon fiber model does not come in different colors.
The Drive Nitro Elite is amazing. Smooth rolling, it absorbs uneven concrete and I don’t feel the ground’s bumps at all. I have had several other walkers and there is no comparison to this one. I feel totally confident with it.
It dosen’t roll on its own. Very sturdy and light and easy to put in the car. I highly recommend it. Deborah Bellis.
The rollator is a great option for those who are looking for a lightweight walker with a seat. It is easy to maneuver and provides a comfortable place to rest when needed. It is also easy to fold and transport, making it a great option for those who are looking for a portable walker.
