The teens and adults in my house had a lot of fun playing with the Adventure Force Tactical Strike Conquest Pro Ultimate Dart Blaster. We set up targets throughout the yard at different distances and took turns aiming.

The shooter has good accuracy, this is definitely a shooter you want to use for long distance shots. The darts fly hard and fast and travel far. It’s a powerful release and blast so definitely for older teens, ok for younger kids to try with an adult closely supervising.

There is a switch to push for “safety” or fire mode which is great to avoid accidental blaster shots. The darts are small and can be difficult to find once they’ve been shot. The tips are bright orange but the gray foam made it a difficult search for some of the darts out in the yard.

I’d look into purchasing darts that are brightly colored all over to make finding them easier. Overall, a very powerful dart blaster to practice accuracy and distance shooting. Fun for older teens and adults.

It’s a hit! One of his friends came over after it arrived today and they had pretty good time. It’s not the first dart gun to land in this home, but it is perhaps the most powerful; I didn’t actually measure how far the darts could travel, but I would certainly believe the advertised distance of 125 feet.

The first shot fired was from one end of the hallway; it hit the door on the opposite end and ricocheted all the way back. I think I can say with near certainty that this Adventure Force Tactical Strike Conquest Pro Ultimate Dart Blaster will find its place in many a future dart war among the children.

I rated this at 4 stars instead of 5 only because it’s a bit loud when firing and, more importantly, it seems the darts tend to get stuck every so often. Thankfully, that’s easy enough to fix by opening the “jam door” on the side of the blaster.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the blaster. Fun times all around and no tears from anyone. yet.

I wasn’t paying attention when I ordered this thinking it could be for my 4 year old. OOPS! This is definitely for the teenagers and adults in the family. I definitely had to read through the instructions a few times to figure out how this works.

Requires a USB charge and soaking of the little gel balls in water for some time. It’s important to wear the included eye wear with this because these pack a punch. Not quite like paint ball, but also doesn’t feel super great when you get hit with one, also depends where you are hit.

I think it’s important you stick to the age guidelines on this because a younger child using it could result in disaster on many levels.

Recently purchased this Mythically awesome toy. Its long battery life delivered hours and hours of pleasure for me and my play partner. Cleanup was a little difficult. The gel beads can get lodged in places difficult to clean.

Extending the length is a must, it delivers deeper penetrating action and delivery of each and every gel bead. We were happy to have it come with goggles. Face shots are routine and eye protection is a must.

I got the NERF Pro Gelfire Mythic Blaster for my husband and son to play. They absolutely love it!! It is so much fun. I think it is amazing the Mythic Blaster includes 10,000 Gelfire Rounds. They are soft, easy to hydrate, load and fire.

The included rechargeable battery is convenient, and I really like that protective eyewear is included. I would highly recommend this blaster. It is the best NERF we have ever tried!.

Hasbro hit a home run with these nerf guns. CON If you buy this gun, make sure you buy some extra bullets because 200 is really not enough. To have a good time i recommend 400. Not to bash on this package though, any nerf gun a general rule of thumb i have found is to have double the bullets it comes with for a good experience.

Hi for those of you that got it in Original packaging and worked do you guys know who your seller was? Mine came in a beat up brown box not original nerf box packaging with a shipping label slapped on it.

It didnt work at all. It looked used. It was a Christmas gift for my son. Im suppose to be getting a replacement but I just want to go with the right 3rd party seller. I honestly thought this came directly from Walmart not a 3rd party :/.

This is the nerf nemesis but better. Way easier to reload and shoots faster. Holding it at the waist has a true mini gun feel. It is only 70 dollars here, cheaper than the nemesis. Also includes a rechargeable battery.

This gun is so fun to shoot and is definitely one of the top ten nerf guns to get for Christmas.

The Nerf Rival Hera MXVII 1200 White Combat Blaster really packs some power! It is motorized and requires no pumping action which makes it much easier for the kids as well. It fires so fast, it is semi-auto but it fires as fast as you can pull the trigger.

The aim is incredible, and is very accurate. Whoever gets this blaster in our family’s Nerf wars definitely comes out on top and is not missing hits. It’s also fairly quiet where my kids can play with this when I’m sleeping and not disturb me.

It feels great to hold, is not too heavy for my kids to use. We had no issues with this jamming up. I do plan to get the Nerf rechargeable battery pack because this Nerf has quickly become a favorite in our household and is getting a lot of use.

This is a high quality Nerf which looks and feels cool to use. Highly recommend this!.

The hera shoots hard and is light with the rechargeable battery. It is better than the semi auto p90 looking rival blaster (Charger Mxx-1200) because the charger mxx-1200 can’t use the rechargeable battery.

It only uses 6 C batteries. The hera can use 6 C batteries, 6 D batteries, or the rechargeable battery. It works best with the rechargeable battery but the blaster only comes with a tray that holds 6 C batteries.

The hera is also lighter than the charger mxx-1200 when it has the rechargeable battery. It also performs better than the charger mxx-1200.

Next Gen version of the Zeus, the only real issue I have is that the grip can get a little uncomfortable after a while, because of the jagged detail right at the top of the grip. Why is that even there? It’s not something that you notice right away, but if you take a look at the picture with the guy holding the blaster, you’ll notice that the white portion of the blaster looks like it’s poking into his hand, about a 1/2 inch down from his knuckle.

Other than that, it’s great. It uses the Rival Rechargeable battery (which is a definite plus), easy to change mags, and performance is solid. Plus it’s currently only $4 more than the Zeus (on Walmart).

It is a little heavier, but still a great blaster.

Our favorite nerf gun ever. I’ve never spent more than $25 for a nerf gun for my 10 yr old, so maybe there are better more expensive one out there but this is a winner. The most accurate. How accurate? I was able to hit a target 10 feet away with 18 out of 25 rounds.

It was amazing, try that with the traditional darts. These have a much higher velocity so expect balls to bounce all over the house and definitely wear eye/face protection. Really easy to load several rounds and pump/shoot.

I love the rival ball bullets. If you used these outside you’d probably have a tough time tracking the bullets down but they are great inside the house.

We had this Nerf Rival Blaster for about a week or so before it broke. the little yellow spring stopper that pushed the balls up from the inside mag compartment broke, and didn’t push the balls up to where the loading arm pushes them into the chamber.

it was sad, but Target took it back no questions asked. We have 2 other Blasters of this same Model and they’re both fine. I think that particular gun was just a fluke and happened to become defective during regular use.

I’d recommend this blaster to anyone. It’s certainly fun and has a pretty good shot.

My husband and I received Nerf guns for our wedding. Such a fun idea! Disclaimer: When Nerf says that this Rival Takedown Blaster says is meant for ages 14+ they mean every minute of that! The balls are much smaller than I anticipated– roughly quarter size in diameter.

And they shoot much faster than anticipated– roughly 61mph. A trial run of shooting in the house left a ball ricocheted off two walls and lost in the curtains for some time. A trial run of shooting at my husband left a small red mark that faded quickly enough.

He marvels that something traveling so fast can can cause so little damage. He is having a blast aiming in the vicinity of our dog and cats to watch them try to figure out how best to hunt down the flurry of yellow poms.

Sometimes it shoots one, sometimes it shoots three. Will likely need to purchase some additional balls soon.

We had an Epic Battle Kids vs. Dads the weekend before school started, for my kids (8 ) and their friends. All of the players were excited and had a great time. The Dads specifically were quite impressed with the speed and quality of the guns.

From a distance getting hit with the foam darts is not painful however the reality of gameplay is that the kids will shoot at close range, for which I’d recommend eye protection. I wasn’t sure if 16 darts per gun would be enough but they were plenty.

This was such a fun way to pass a rainy day. We received this to test for our honest feedback.

The apocalypse blaster is AMAZING! From its size to reload time to speed of dart blasts!! Everyone in the family picks this one first because of how awesome it is. The skins on it is killer! The darts are fast and soft.

All the adults in my family enjoy this blaster and playing last person standing. It’s a great price for an amazing blaster. We haven’t had any issues with jamming darts.

On my journey of collecting all the Skins. This design is one of my favorites. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. Now I need to find the graffiti one to finish my collection of the Last Stand series.

Easy to load, easy to use, and loads of fun. This one belongs to me until I get the graffiti one. It’s so good the kids and adults put claims on which one belongs to who. I guess just call me a big kid because I get excited for new dart blasters.

Determining the overall rating for the new Siege RS410, proved harder than expected. The great aspects of the product are that the design of the bow and the ability to put arrows accurately on target is excellent, but I’ve encountered a number of issues that could have the potential to impact or ruin your hunt.

The cocking/de-cocking mechanism design/function, safety features, trigger, and accuracy are outstanding. The balance and ability to point and steady the bow for the shot is great. Not so great and an issue that may directly impact the success of your hunt is related to length of pull and eye relief issues with the scope.

I am a medium statured individual (5’7″) and even after installing all of the provided stock spacers and moving the scope as far forward as possible in the mounts there is still an issue with eye relief and reliably acquiring the scope.

My larger statured hunting buddies can’t use the scope if the butt is in contact with their shoulder. Frustrating issues that shouldn’t occur based on price of item: 1. Within three days of bringing the bow home the locking lever for the quiver (along with the bolt and nut) went missing.

The pro-shop where I purchased the bow mentioned they had seen the problem on multiple occasions and allowed me to swap components from a quiver kit on the shelf. Kudo’s to them for their customer service mindset and eliminating the lost time to chase down the issue directly with the manufacturer.

2. In using the cocking handle my thumb has gotten caught/pinched multiple times between the “T” handle and lever arm. In one instance it took a lot of wrangling to free my hand resulting in a bruised/sore thumb.

3. At some point the the cocking handle will fall out of the storage recess on the bow stock. I carry mine on my person to make sure that it will always be there when I need it. 4. Per other reviews I’ve read one of the two ball catches that lock the handle in the stock when using the cocking handle fell out less than a week after purchasing the bow.

The handle still locks with only one ball catch. Hopefully the other one does not come out. A commendable start Tenpoint, but there are some issues that need to be addressed.

I bought this crossbow to use for myself and for my grandson to use. My grandson is 14 and this is his first year to hunt deer. I am not able to draw a compound bow anymore and my grandson was just not able to be consistently accurate with his.

I studied many reviews and narrowed my search to Ten Point products. The Siege fit my criteria for safety, speed, and accuracy. After sighting in the scope, everyone that picked this crossbow up was able hit the bullseye at 20 yards.

Even my 8-year-old grandson, that has never shot anything but a nerf gun, hit the bullseye on every shot. There were a couple things we learned to pass on. First, make sure you are shooting at a target that can stop a bolt at 415 FPS.

We first used a target for a compound bow backed by a 16″ foam billet. It shot clear through both and found the bolt under the grass 10 yards behind the target. It was hard on the fletching going through all that.

I bought a 470 FPS target that stops the bolt unless you hit a spot that already has been hit. Then it sinks into the target up to the knock and the target is deeper than the 16″ bolt so it does not stick out the back.

This target was expensive and is heavy. Shooting at 40 yards solves the problem. I do not know what you can use for a target for the crossbows that shoot over 500 FPS but you should study that issue before you buy one and do not have a target to stop the bolt.

We found the scope proved accurate at all the yardage dots after it was first set up at 20 yards. However, I have trouble holding the bow steady to fire at that distance freehand and I used a BOG tripod to test at that distance.

The only issue we had was that the scope caps suck. We accidently bumped an open rear cap after the first shot and the cap broke off at the hinge. We use it without the caps. The replacement caps available on the web site look to be the same OE caps.

Why mess with it when the replacements are no better? Seems like cheap c**p on such a high-quality crossbow and an easy fix to replace with a quality set especially when the reviews have shown this as a consistent problem.

Maybe they are working on this by now. Don’t get me wrong, we love this crossbow and, if the only complaint is cheap scope caps, I still can’t see how any other crossbow could perform better for our use.

Also, the backpack bow case is totally awesome.

After waiting for many years, I finally jumped into the crossbow game. This is my first crossbow and I was hoping to buy once / cry once given the costs of these things. I am 52 years old and after years of using a regular compound bow, I found the issues with my shoulder and eyesight made it where I owed it to the animals I hunt and to myself to move into a crossbow.

I researched for quite some time before finally deciding that this was probably the best bang for my dollars. The most critical feature to me was the ability to de-cock the crossbow without having to shoot it.

I have witnessed first hand my buddies have to carry a small target in the truck just to be able to fire a cocked crossbow. I also did not like the idea of pulling up or lowering a cocked crossbow (even with no arrow in it) while in a treestand.

I really wanted to see this crossbow before purchase, but I could not find one anywhere in the State of Georgia to go see in person. My nearest Tenpoint dealer was 50 miles away and when I talked to him on the phone he said that these crossbows are impossible to get.

So reluctantly, I ordered it sight unseen from another TenPoint dealer out of state. So when my RS410 arrived, I immediately went to shooting it but I had difficulty getting it sighted in. My first shot completely missed the target and I destroyed the first bolt even at a distance of only 10 yards.

It was not sighted in even close. After multiple shots that seemed to have no grouping, I finally discovered the problem was a horrible mounting job of the scope. The screws in the rings were tightened all the way down on one side and the screws were loose in the other side.

The scope was loose in the rings. After remounting the scope, using some loctite, and a torque wrench, I got the scope properly mounted and sighted in. This solved the issues. But then, I was sighted at 20 yards but could not get the scope dialed in at the 30 and 40 yard marks.

After watching some videos, I figured out that my RS410 was shooting much faster than 410fps and this issue, while a good problem to have, could not be corrected. I was told by multiple people that I needed to replace the factory scope with a scope that had more speed adjustment in it.

Instead, I tried a different approach by switching my field points from 100grs to 125grs to slow the bolt down. I wanted to be shooting a heavier arrow anyway. This slowed the arrow down to exactly 425fps and I was able to set the scope dialed in at 425fps (the highest it will go).

This fixed everything and I am shooting tight groups at 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards just by using the holdover points in the scope and they are dead on. I also think the arrows fly better with 125grs because I can consistently put them in the same hole in the target as the previous shot.

Now that I have everything dialed in and adjusted, I absolutely love this crossbow and do not regret my purchase at all. Everyone I hunt with said I needed to get mechanical broad heads for hunting. But after seeing some of their issues with mechanical broad heads and the costs, I decided that shot placement is way more important than the broad head itself and I just don’t need a broad head that opens to 2″ that is prone to not opening or the increased cost.

I wanted to keep it simple. After much research, I decided to go with Muzzy 3 blade Trocar 125gr broadheads for hunting. My only complaint so far with this crossbow is the fact that you have to use the Tenpoint arrows / nocks and they are just too expensive especially when the bolts go straight through an archery target and embed themselves so deep that you destroy the vanes trying to get it out.

I have purchased several new archery targets now, but just not found the right target for these bolts. The power of this crossbow is absolutely incredible. I have to say that I am once again excited about archery season as the crossbow gives me a new level of confidence and precision that I had lost with my compound bow as I have gotten older and the ability to look through a scope instead of a peep sight is just night and day difference.

Would I buy the Siege RS410 again if I had it to do over? Absolutely, I am convinced I made the right choice.

My second Barnett and very pleased with both. Started with a Jackal which shot great but wanted something more compact for blind hunting. This Whitetail Hunter 2 was a great choice. Very well built and easier to maneuver around in my doghouse blind.

After trying different arrow weight combinations I came up with one that allows me to shoot out to 35 yards for deer (my maximum distance of choice) utilizing just the top two reticle lines of the scope.

Using the stock Headhunter bolts and adding 125gr. field tips and 25gr. lighted nocks for a total of 440gr. brings me in right around 330 fps. Plenty fast enough for most hunting. Top reticle on the Barnett 4×32 five line scope sighted dead on at 20 yards gives me a POI just a bit over 1” low at 5 yards, 1/2” low at 10 yards and just a hair low at 15 yards.

At 25 yards, still using this top line and same POA, I hit just a tad over 1” low. The second reticle line from the top aiming dead on at 30 yards comes in at about 1” high and with the same aim back to dead on at 35 yards.

Basically anything out to 26 yards I aim kill zone top line. Anything between 27 and 35 yards aim kill zone second reticle line. Line 3 4 5 just along for the ride, though I’ll have to shoot em and see just where they fall in.

Come hunting season I’ll swap out the field points for some 125 gr. Schwacker broadheads and I’m ready to rumble. There are a lot of crossbows to choose from out there. Many good ones some not so good.

I and many others think Barnett makes a great line of bows and quality crossbows in this price range especially. Three arrow shot picture shows my last 3 shots holding dead on bulls at 35 yards with second reticle line from top.

Very impressed with the Ghost 425. Extremely fast! The one bolt assembly sounded easy but just remember you have to wiggle the bow part to get it to set inside assembly. Out of the box and assembled the scope’s lighted crosshairs wouldn’t go off at first but after pulling the battery out and putting it back in, it works fine now.

This crossbow requires a Full Grown Man to cock it! The 206lbs draw weight isn’t a joke. I pulled my old 185 will no problems but that extra 21lbs was shocking. Out of the box it shot way low, 8″ low and 5″ to the right at 10 yards.

It took about 10 shots before I was satisfied. Moved it out to 20 and 30 yards and it shot a touch high. That could have been me pulling off but it was consistently high 3 shots each. Really looking forward to bow season to start! The only negative’s I can come up with is, the cost of additional arrows.

55. 00-65. 00 for 3 is a bit more than I think arrows should cost. Granted they send you 3 with the crossbow but I can about guarantee you will lose your arrow shooting a deer as powerful as this crossbow is.

2nd is the placement of the sling eyes. I pulled the sling off my other crossbow and I could barely get the one on the stock side in. It is set on the side of the the stock and not the bottom. That would be the only negative I could find of the crossbow itself.

I can’t find my prior review so I’m adding another to follow it up. My Jackal has flaws, at least one of which is subtle. It is physically impossible for this quiver to be attached to your crossbow. It’s also physically impossible to insert quarrels / bolts / arrows / darts into this quiver, or withdraw them from this quiver, without damaging something in the process.

You cannot slide them in, you cannot snap them in from the side. Oh, it might be possible if you drill them out and file them. Second, the gaudy camo wrap stuff makes the crossbow look a lot like a toy, and it can’t be removed so you can only paint over it.

Depending upon your plans, I suggest either blaze orange or medium brown. The gap between the guide rails isn’t consistent and when properly cocked, only the first (nock end) five inches of the arrow is touching the rail at all; the remaining 15 inches of arrow are suspended in midair.

That seems to me like a time bomb waiting to go off. I thought surely mine was the only one with that issue, but I hear it more and more often from others now. Update: Barnett’s support people want nothing to do with me now that the sale is over.

Any problem that was built into the bow is MY problem, apparently.

IšverstiShow in original languageI purchased a different gun safe and not only did it stop working but it only held my rifles with some ammunition. With this gun safe, this holds so much more than just my rifles.

I was able to fit all of my rifles inside of this safe but still had room left over. I then was able to fit all of my handguns inside along with my ammunition. What I really love is that I was able to put 2 hand guns on the safe door itself which allows me to do a quick open and grab if I ever need to.

There is so much room in this safe that even with all of my guns inside, I have more than enough room for extra magazine clips and ammunition. I was able to set my own passcode for this and love that the key hole for this is hidden away.

Even after looking at it, you can hardly tell there is a hidden key hole unless you really start looking for it. Very secure and sturdy safe too.

The unit itself was better built and more substantial then the two other safes we’d previously purchased from other sources. Very happy with this purchase.

As a “gun guy” living in a state that only allows bow hunting for the majority of the deer season isn’t my favorite thing. After spending some time in the blinds with a regular compound bow I eventually went out on a hunt with a friend who brought along a crossbow.

I have never used a crossbow before and was instantly jealous of how agile and easy his life was in the blind, compared to my experience with a bulky full size compound bow. I decided to take a risk on something I didn’t know and picked up an Invader crossbow.

Wow. I should’ve done this a long time ago. First even. After taking about three shots out of the box at 20yards I made a couple adjustments to the sights, the bow was almost instantly ready to go. After seeing this my non hunter wife wanted to join in for some fun.

She was immediately able to hit 4” groups from 40yards HER FIRST TIME EVER SHOOTING A BOW! She was won over right away, and also loves that with acudraw she can pull back the string effortlessly, unlike my regular compound bow.

10/10 would recommend. I should’ve bought this bow before my compound bow.

So far so good. Sighted in the scope and it works very well. Shot 1 inch groups at 30 yards no problem. I did not use the aluminum arrows. I bought the carbon arrows and used 125 grain practice tips on them.

The heavier the better. I would say around 425 to 480 grain total arrow weight is good. This also prevents stress on the limbs. Lighter arrows and heads will make it shoot faster but then you may where out the string and limbs faster.

350 to 370 FPS is fast enough with a heavier bolt. Going hunting with it this season. I’m sure it will do very well. It is very accurate and fast. the scope is very good in my opinion. Green and Red to choose from or just keep the light off and use the black dots.

I got the Wicked Ridge Zipper Bag and the Wicked Ridge Sling from From Sportsmans Warehouse also. You will want to purchase some string wax and rail lube as well. Maybe some lube for the safety, trigger and pullies as well.

Keep it lubed, waxed and clean. It should last a while. I have heard stories of people breaking strings and limbs etc. Always use alpha nocks and keep it lubed and clean and waxed and you should not have any issues.

Shoot heavier bolts to save your limbs and stings. that is the biggest issue that is not realized about crossbows. You need to have resistance to reduce vibrations after the shot and the heavy bolts will lessen the vibration and stress.

Also the tenpoint vibration supressor kit as well. put the rubber pieces on the limbs to reduce vibrations even more. All in All a Very nice crossbow without breaking the bank and you can hang with the big boys with this bow.

IšverstiShow in original languageI started with this bow as my first crossbow. I had a compound bow but the string snapped while I was getting to my blind and my whole hunting trip was over because there were no bow shops around and the bow had partially dry fired because the serving snapped.

I ended up buying a new string for it and sold it on eBay to buy this bow. I have been using this bow for over 3 yrs and I finally upgraded to the BD 440 this year but this bow is my backup. I always carry an extra string, limbs, and I never have to worry about the strings breaking because if it does, I take out my stringing kit and restring the bow and continue with my hunt.

I have harvested 13 Bucks between this bow and the BD 440. I thought this bow was a beast but the 440 really packs a punch. So much so that you have to use the included silent charger ext. unfortunately it doesnt work with this bow.

I am extremely glad I found Excaliburs because they are so durable and a piece of art. The newer bows all look the same and although they are much more narrow cocked and uncocked I still prefer to using my Excalibur because I am sick of the compound bows snapping strings and servings.

Excaliburs have always been the best in my honest opinion, nothing can stop you when you shoulder an Excalibur. No more worrying about what you should do if your serving or string snaps. Excaliburs only have 1 string thats replaceable and that applied to the limbs too.

I always carry an extra set of limbs and strings in my backpack just in case. I never needed it but its nice to know I can change out the limbs and string within 10minutes without a bow press. Buy this bow and get a taste of excellence!.

I had purchased a different compound style crossbow for them and within 20 shots the serving started to seperate bad! New strings/cables cost anywhere from $40-$200 dollars then take it to a shop, pay for labor, and usually wait a week or so to get it back.

With Excalibur I can restring it myself quickly, even in the woods if need be. Sure it may not be as fast as other crossbows on the market, but is still faster than any compound, and 99% of the YouTube/hunting shows has hunters shooting plenty of nice deer/bucks with a lot slower bows.

OK ready to give my review, 1. I purchased the centerpoint 425 amped crossbow package with the silent crank online. I received the entire package in a very short period of time I did not expect it to be that quick so that was a definitely a ten 2.

I’ve never used a crossbow before to hunt with I always used my compound ball but I have quite a few physical restraints so I cannot use the ball anymore I had to switch over to the crossbow did a lot of research and the centerpoint turned out to be the best buy for me.

3. I checked everything to make sure I received everything and I did. So I made an appointment with the Cabela store that’s not too far from where I live in Scarborough and went there today and the technician whose name is Eric was incredibly helpful and fun tools to watch work.

3. Took him about 10 minutes or so to assemble it. He had it set up for me for an introductory to using the bow. That wasn’t difficult being that I am a rifle hunter who is so much similar. He showed me how to use the crank showed me what to do to line it up which I already knew fired and couldn’t see the arrow is so fast.

4. In summary purchase the service was spot on was quick accurate and I’m quite comfortable with the product this will be my first hunt with a crossbow I think Cabelas for helping me out I am a disabled veteran and this was a big help for me so.

What are you thinking now if you guys can gift to me one of those bad boy easy go hunting carts that really would be good I’ll write a wonderful review for you oh wow just kidding thank you again.

This is my first crossbow so I don’t have anything to compare it to but I can say I was honestly shocked at how powerful and accurate it is. I have not purchased a target block yet and was taking single shots at a homemade target made of thick layers of cardboard propped against the bank of a dirt road.

Once I had the scope dialed in I consistantly hit bullseye at 30 yards and cut the same hole the majority of the time shooting from a rest. I was never more than 1/2″ off the original hole. I was shooting the field tips it came with and it easily pierced about 8″ of rigid cardboard and buried itself into the bank each time.

This is a very powerful crossbow! I do not believe there is an animal alive this crossbow cannot put down with the correct broadhead. It is quiet, accurate, powerful and deadly. The only cons I can see are that it is not exactly light nor is it the easiest thing to cock.

But again I have nothing to compare it with. It is very manageable however and once I got my technique down i was able to cock it quickly every time. If it is in your budget you may wish to consider purchasing the cocking device.

I am considering adding it but it would really be more of a luxury than a necessity. Overall this is an amazing crossbow for the price and i highly recommend it for anyone that has an itch to own one.

I did not buy from Walmart, but I have this CB now for 4 months and have about 200 or more shots through it so I thought I’d share my thoughts. The good: -It’s fast. Realistically close to 400fps with a 400 grain arrow (supplied).

-Good Speed results in good Energy and helps with accuracy because estimating arrow drop is a little less critical. -Pretty narrow at 12 inches cocked -Nice quiver which mounts on either side parallel with the frame and it’s easily removable when in the stand.

It comes with a crank if you can’t pull it with the rope cocker. Using the rope cocker is pretty easy and only way I’ve cocked mine. I’m 5’10 and almost 60 years old and it’s no issue. Pulling power is 100lbs.

If your shorter, it will be a little more difficult. -3 supplied arrows are decent quality. -Accuracy is good with an updated scope. I can get under a 2 inch group off a good bench rest at 60 yards. (Arrow dependent).

Price- hard to get a 400 fps, pretty narrow bow in this $300 or less price range. -AR style Stock is adjustable for length. The BAD: -SCOPE. It’s pretty cheap. It can work fine for short distances like under 30 yards, but I’d suggest planning on getting a decent speed variable scope to really enjoy the accuracy of this bow.

You will spend about $100-200 for this. After I installed mine it was night and day difference. I went from 2 inch groups at 30 yards to stacking/ruining arrows. -TRIGGER. My biggest issue with the bow, but you can learn to shoot it.

It has about 1/2″ of creep before it breaks. I would estimate it at about 7lbs. The good far outweighs the bad. I don’t understand some of the bad reviews on this bow. Overall, I think it’s a great value.

If the trigger was better I’d say it’s outstanding. I hope this helps someone!.

So having read all the reviews of this pistol crossbow I decided to take a chance, purchase one for my own and find out the highs and lows of it. For starters the directions though fair, maybe for someone like me can elaborate just a little more with better photos or something but none the less I got the bow set up.

So I would say maybe minus half a star for the manual. The next was I immediately installed a red dot and could not get the red dot centered. Maybe it’s me, maybe the red dot, maybe just the height of the mount so I’ll deduct half a star there.

For operation wise and with the use of the sights that came with it already I give this bow 4 stars all day. It is accurate once you set it. Maybe a little too accurate since one bolt smacked the plastic fletching of another bolt.

Thankfully the broken one still flies true. What’s not mentioned is that this bow comes with 3 bolts and I’ve fired them into a bag target and a 3D deer target. Safe to say I’ll stop shooting the deer target because it’s tough to get it out.

yhe trigger pull is pretty hefty, the rear sight slides off easy, no tightening screw but in general for a pistol crossbow at the price range it works as intended and shoots great. I won’t stack it up to an actual crossbow.

I bought this directly from Bear because while doing research I found Bear had the best price. I was very surprised! But it doesn’t stop there. This is my 2nd pistol crossbow with the lever self cocking method.

It appears many companies use this design or the are all manufactured in the same place. There are sight differences but they all seem to be relatively the same. But this model had newer upgraded features I wanted and Bear had the best price.

I originally planned to upgrade the limb for more power. To my surprise this thing has nearly the same power as my upgraded pistol crossbow with the Steambow upgraded limb from GoGun. This thing is great as is!! I am trilled with my purchace!! 226 fps with plastic bolts measured with a chronograph.

(my other one originally went 195 fps with plastic bolts. Now with the steambow limb 236 fps).

Luckily I still have all my fingers as it has gone off on me 2 times in a row with the safety on, and not willing to risk a 3rd time. Only to notice later the safety only prevents the trigger. It doesn’t stop the string.

The only thing that is stopping the string is a hair of plastic. I have contacted Bear xl with no response and told bass pro will not do returns on it as it’s it’s firearm. It sucks because i purchased $50 worth of bolts for nothing now as it is not safe to use.

I wouldn’t even feel comfortable selling to someone as it is too dangerous.

I love shooting reverse limb technology bows. I have the old Horton Vision and love that bow but wanted up to date technology so purchased Storm RDX. The trigger pull on the Storm is the greatest upgrade.

Can keep bow dead on nuts when squeezing off arrow without a rest. The brush arrow stabilizer is another great improvement. No more streak or scratch down the shafts of arrows. What I love about this bow is it feels just like shooting a rifle.

All the weight right down the center instead of being front heavy like a lot of crossbows. The trigger seals the deal. Nice little squeeze and arrow on way to bullseye. Only improvement I would incorporate to make crossbow better is to have arrow quiver arrangement towards the front like old Horton Vision.

If possible, I would like the cam pulley to be smaller in size. Always afraid when I put the bow over my shoulder with the sling, I won’t pay attention and whack the crossbow cam against the wall or something else.

Shooting wise, I would find it very difficult to find another crossbow that shoots as accurate with that amount of power. I get awesome penetration when shooting into target and after going through a deer and into the ground.

Easy to cock and load bow with either cocking device. Would be great if auto cocking device didn’t click but bow shoots so accurate won’t have to worry about reloading to shoot again.

IšverstiShow in original languageGood quality. Good action and feels real (no action compares to the Henry Mares Leg). Only problem is how the gun is pieced together (see pictures attached). Gun is designed in 2 pieces that are pressed together, with only light pressure from hands.

When operating the action, the gun will “wobble” in the middle (where you hold your hand), thus creating the “eventual separation” of the gun into 2 pieces. Overall great quality for display. Do not recommend for regular operation for obvious reasons.

If this was designed in “one piece”, I would give 5 stars instead of 3.

IšverstiShow in original languageIf you are looking simply for a display piece or a demonstration piece for educational purposes, then this is an excellent (and much less expensive!) alternative to the authentic 1862 Henry Rifle.

The wood stock is beautiful and the brass, although not polished and shiny, is well done. The lever action and spring loaded ammo chamber are very crisp and authentic feeling. Of course it does not contain the Henry engraving on the barrel, it is still a wonderful replica.

Grand Garand. Nicely done. Has the look and feel. The only issue was having to file on the bayonet lug to make it fit in the authentic bayonet.

Good value for price! The quality is very good and craftsmanship realistic. A few areas could be improved, front sight, non opening butt plate. The wood is a little too red. Overall though, it is a good representation for displays if you don’t want to have a real Garand out and risk theft or damage.

This replica product has the size, weight, and feel of a real M1 Garand. It is perfect for a history buff, or as a WWII costume accessory. Would not say it is inexpensive, but there were other models that cost more.

This one is worth the price to us.

Just picked this up and shot 20 yards as instructed and adjusted the scope accordingly. It was pretty close out of the box. I then went to 50 using the correct triangle in the reticle and had to make a minor adjustment.

I then switched over to the Rage 100 grain Trypan Crossbow broad head and adjusted accordingly for elevation and windage as they do not fly the same as a fieldpolnt. I strongly recommend that you do your final sighting with an actual broadhead if you plan on hunting as this is the only ethical way to ensure your arrow is on.

Yes you end up loosing one broadhead from your pkg, but you still have 2 new ones that are assured of making a clean kill. This bow and scope pkg. is top notch and for this price point, it is hard to find a better shooting bow On another note, the Cabelas salesman was very informative and helpful.
