Some parents might say that lego is a great way for 6 year old boys to learn about spatial relationships, while others might say that it helps with fine motor skills. Ultimately, it is up to the parents to decide what they feel is best for their child.

I learned from this purchase that sealed box does not mean it’s new. It was sealed by an individual. The Lego pieces were sealed in their original packaging and the instruction booklets were included.
One last comment. The box was not properly prepared for shipping. The box is smashed. So between it being obvious it had previously been opened and the box smashed it’s not suitable to be used as a gift.
I do feel confident all the pieces are there which is the main thing.
I’ve wanted to purchase this kit for my husband for awhile now but the $40 price tag was holding me back because I felt pretty sure that he would only be interested in building the Monster Burger Truck rather than the other two creator options.
Plus the regular cost of the kit ($40) seems pricey compared with other 3-in-1 Creator Kits. But with Target’s special Black Friday sale, I scooped this kit up for the low price of $24. 59 Exciting!! I look forward to gifting this at Christmas.
I introduced him to the concept of go-karts on the day he bought this kit. He loves it! Put it together himself with some pleas for help, but I just calmed him down. He’s mechanically inclined, so it really wasn’t at all too difficult for him.
I’m ecstatic, it’s the first ‘thing” he has taken care of and not destroyed on day one or two. He loves it. It’s a pretty good number of pieces for the price and a seven-year-old can complete one of the designs in less than 15 minutes.
Power up kids creativity with the LEGO City Tractor (60287) playset. This cool tractor toy comes with lots of realistic features, including large rear tires, tipping loader bucket and a raisable boom.

Or you can hop online and download Instructions PLUS, part of the LEGO Building Instructions app for smartphones and tablets. This interactive construction guide, with amazing zoom and rotate viewing tools, helps budding builders become master builders.
LEGO City Great Vehicles playsets deliver realistic vehicles and machines along with fun characters to inspire imaginative role play. Kids get to explore their favorite land, air and sea vehicles, developing physical skills and confidence as they build and play.
I almost gave this set a 3 star, but then remembered this is a 5+ city set – 4 stars it is (5 stars is perfect/near prefect IMP, and a grade i’ve given to cheaper sets). the value and design are both decent, but there is one change that i feel can drastically improve the model – making the main body of the vehicle 3-4 studs wide, rather than just 2.
The vehicle, as a whole, is handsome and somewhat realistic, but it just feels too narrow. This is especially pronounced in the back view when the frame between the two giant wheels (almost-monster-truck like) is smaller than each of the two tires.
i am no tractor expert but after looking at photos of real tractors it still doesn’t seem right to me. Another general comment for Lego is that if the technic pin connector pieces ( at the bend of the bucket arm here) are used, please provide simple pieces to cover up the holes.
Nonetheless, these points are pretty evident in the shots Lego provided; so if you are interested in the set, take a look at the 3d spin (esp. the back) – and if you don’t agree with my comments then i think you will be happy with the set.
My five-year-oldgrandson was absolutely delighted to get this Lego kit for his birthday! It required help from Mommy to guide him through the directions, but the picture of the completed project is priceless! Lego kits come with directions and all parts, making a project like this great for young kids.
They can see the pictures and visualize the finished product. I’m really impressed with kits like this!.
My daughter LOVED this Lego set. We live on a farm and own a tractor and such. She loved that she had her very own tractor to build. Shes 6 so she did need help because, well Legos are hard to build at times.
We got it built in about 30 minutes I’d say. We liked that it came with 2 people(a girl and a boy), rabbit and lego carrots. That was a neat touch. The process could get confusing but it’s a good thing it comes with clear instructions.
She plays with it all the time. Only thing we both didn’t like was the lefo hair for the people. It will NOT stay on, at all. You barely touch the people and the hair pops off. That has gotten quite annoying.
Other than the hair issue, its been a super fun toy and good experience of putting it together.

Your child will be engaged and challenged to build vehicles buildings and animals from their imagination or the inspirational guide.
This building set is sure to help your child discover building skills as they experience the fun of open-ended building play. Color: multi. Age Group: adult.
Where can I even begin. Lego makes some of the best quality interlocking brick systems that I have ever played with. I grew up in Lego and I am passing my love for these toys on to my children. Lego has such durable and amazing products.
We love the classic brick building set. This set may seem simple but it’s so much more fun than you can imagine. This set helps my kids add what they want to other sets that they have or have gotten.
This helps them personalize their lego experience.
My son has these he really likes it a lot. It’s convenient to store the legos in the box it comes with and I don’t feel like they over charged for the box before there are a lot of legs I wish they had included one or two small base pieces but I knew when buying they weren’t included.
My son is 4 so we had to get a set with a box and the box is great the kids stays on right but is also easy to get off. The legos it comes with doesn’t fill the box so you have room to add as you go if you are just starting legos I recommend this kit because the box is great for storage and it comes with a good amount and I think the price is fair for the legos the box has been a life saver and we have added more legos to the box it comes with a set that you scan to tak you online to see what you can build also a few things to build on the pamphlet.
My youngest son is autistic and absolutely can’t be without legos. This box filled all of his needs. It allows him creative expression without limiting him to a specific build. Some of the things he’s made from this is mind bending.
I love the fact everything can be put away in the box with no “ouch I stepped on a Lego” moment in the middle of the night. I do wish there were at least a few larger baseplates included but all in all it does well.

Reviews From Real Customers
This is an amazing deal. The case is awesome for taking whatever legos you want on a trip or to grandparents house. Comes with a fantastic amount of legos and booklet to build so many cute and EASY things for my 4 year old.
Case is easy opening and closing for little hands as well. One of the best Lego purchases.
I love that it comes in a closed container. My son can easily open and shut without needed assistance. It includes a variety of different Lego blocks which allows my son to create multiple things. I would recommend this to anyone with kids that enjoy legos.
Get creative with classic LEGO bricks in 29 different colors! Dig into this selection of LEGO bricks and let your imagination run away with you! The building possibilities are endless, with classic bricks in 29 different colors and special pieces including doors, windows, wheels, eyes and propellers.
And if you don’t know where to start, you can find instructions with some ideas to get you going. This is an ideal set to help budding builders of all ages get creative, and would complement any existing LEGO collection.
Unfortunately this isn’t what I thought I was buying. First, the container is not a solid plastic box as depicted, but flimsy cardboard with a plastic lid – we’ll have to find an alternative storage box and then the lid will get binned which seems a waste.
Secondly, I thought the “classic” label meant this would just be a box of bricks my 4 year old could build her own creations with. It’s not – it’s a box of very specific technical pieces that are only any good for the list of suggested builds in the booklet – most of which are far too complicated for children, definitely not 4+ as stated.
Overall, usual good lego quality, just misleadingly sold and described as far as contents go – and the box feels like a deliberate mis selling.
I ordered these for my four year old to start her collection and they are great. I was surprised to find that the base of the box is cardboard, and the top is plastic. (I thought they would both be plastic to use a a reusable container).
Another difference from the lego sets I used to get in the 80s were a lot more specialty pieces, relative to the number of actual brick shapes. I would have loved a set with just the basic bricks. Unrelated to the items themselves, I did curbside pick up the day before Christmas, with my 4 year old in the back seat, and they brought these and the other toys I ordered out without concealing them.
Even if you just tuck things in a reusable tote, it would be much appreciate for pre-Christmas toy shoppers. This is a PSA for other parents, as well as a heads up for BB employees who are not clued in to the whole parenting thing yet.
(Incidentally the least likely people to read this review. ).
A pretty decent amount but of legos here. A solid selection to build a feel things. My son is very creative but he also like to follow a specific character or item to build. He is very happy with this set and it was very reasonably price too.
We haven’t bought maybe legos because we is only 5. But a fair price for a good amount of legos. Happy kid happy dad right.

Digital building instructions. This collectible toy car includes printed and digital building instructions. Available in the free LEGO Building Instructions app for smartphones and tablets, the interactive digital guide comes with amazing zoom and rotate tools that allow you to visualize this model from all angles as you build.
Celebrating iconic engineering and design. LEGO Speed Champions building sets deliver buildable versions of the world’s leading and best-known vehicles. Designed for kids and automobile fans of all ages, the authentically detailed models are also great for thrilling race action against other toy vehicles from the Speed Champions range.
My son loves the Lego cars, now that you can fit more than one Lego person. Very interesting build has all the details. The front and back lights are actual pieces not just stickers which is awesome.
For what I paid, I felt like it was a steal. The rims could use some work (underneath rim is rotor detail, and it’s just covered with this rim piece that isn’t centered properly, just want to drill holes) and Lego doesn’t usually give me too much in engine detail but for the price it’s still a 5 star.
This build starts off like many of the other Speed Champions sets do, but that’s where the similarities end. The way the creators achieved all of the angles is really unique. And the headlights? Amazing.
They’re stickers a layer underneath clear bricks to give the illusion of something much more realistic. I hope LEGO continues to find ways to incorporate features like that. This is an excellent buy.
I am sorry for anyone I offend with this opinion, but I don’t think the Countach is a good looking car. Despite this, I still got the set because the proportions of the front reminded me of the Diablo, my favorite Lamborghini.
The set looks great and still resembles the Countach quite a bit. Be warned! Lego still doesn’t add enough white paint to color match the windshield print. I wish I could give 4. 5 stars for that.

Exploring the world through play. LEGO City playsets come with feature-rich buildings, realistic vehicles, and fun characters that stimulate kids’ open-ended imaginative role play based on everyday heroes and real-life events.
My kids love Legos so they were super excited about the Fire Rescue Helicopter. This Lego set was awesome it came with Legos to build a helicopter, motorbike, power station. Also included Lego fires and three mini Lego guys.
My kids were able to get super creative with these Legos and use their imagination and have some fun. My Kids thought the helicopter was super cool because it shot a water cannon out like it was putting out the flames they really liked that part.
We also love that one of the mini figures is Clemmons from the Lego city adventure tv show. If your kids love Legos and Lego city adventures they will surely love this toy. We Highly recommend. Kids tested mother approved!.
My grandsons were so intrigued by this new Lego Fire Rescue Helicopter set that comes with OVER 200 PIECES, because their Uncle Kenny is a Fireman! He too was excited to help put it together with them! They ALL THREE were DEFLATED after they realized how much TIME it was going to take to ASSEMBLE THE SET, as my sons are pretty IMPATIENT at ages 3 & 5.
Once completed though, the helicopter was the boys FAVORITE, as it shoots out fake water to put out the flaming fires! They also love the motorcycle too! Their uncle said the instructions were VERY EASY for the boys to understand since OFCOURSE THEY CAN’T READ and were SIMPLY ABLE TO LOOK at the PICTURES and follow along.
I have to say though both boys did loose interest AFTER only FIVE MINUTES, once all the work was done. that’s why I rated it 3 stars.
Legos are always a classic fun time for every member of the family. My son had so much fun helping me build this firefighter helicopter set. He has also been having a blast playing with it. The instructions were very easy to follow.
This took us roughly 30 minutes to put everything together. The helicopter is very realistic. There is an opening to take the person flying out, an opening to put a person in on a stretcher, and the blades move as well.
Being able to shoot the water cannons at the fire is his favorite part. The motorcycle is very realistic as well. This Lego set is fun to look at and play with. It did not disappoint at all.
This LEGO City Police Prisoner Transport (60276) toy comes with characters from the LEGO City Adventures TV series. Kids can reenact scenes and create their own exciting stories featuring police hero Duke DeTain and notorious crooks Snake Rattler and Clara The Criminal.
A prisoner transport truck with jailbreak function, crook’s souped-up tow truck and Duke’s cool black motorcycle set the scene for explosive action. Cool police playset for kids This fun police toy comes with an easy-to-follow construction guide and Instructions PLUS – an interactive building guide with zoom and rotate viewing tools that help young LEGO builders become master builders.
Instructions Plus is part of the free LEGO Building Instructions app for smartphones and tablets. The inspiring world of LEGO City LEGO City police sets deliver an enjoyable build-and-play experience.
The realistic vehicles, detailed buildings and fun characters stimulate imaginative, open-ended role play for children of all ages. Kids aged 5+ can create their own LEGO City TV action with this multi-model playset, featuring an iconic prisoner transporter and fun characters from the awesome LEGO City Adventures TV series.
This is by far one of the best value sets Lego has ever created. If someone asked what the price was I would assume £24. 99-£29. 99, not the bargain price of £14. 99. In the box you will find 3 bags, 3 instruction manuals and a sticker sheet.
Bag 1 is the red tow truck which I was pleasantly surprised by the cool features and size plus the cool black police motorcycle. Bag 2 and 3 includes the police transporter with its simple but effective mechanism which allows the jail cell to pop off.
It also includes an exhaust pipe pointing upwards which isn’t very clear in the photos. Back to the tow truck, it has a clip to attach on the jail cell so after it explodes it can be towed. The wheel axles are extremely rare due to the red colour ( usually grey or black.
) This set is a great add-on to any city police set, especially 60241-46. I bought it with 60244 ( helicopter transport) which was also better that expected. I am really pleased with the 4 minifigures, of them being from the TV series, Lego City Adventures.
The Clara The Criminal figure is really interesting because she has a very rare helmet. The Duke Detain minifigure is great but I don’t really have much to say as he is very common. The Snake Rattler minifigure is a great copy of the TV character.
The police lady is perfect for the driver as she is a double expression character, ( one being happy and the other being scared. ) Both the head and hair\ hat are extremely rare. This is a great set and I strongly recommend as a gift for an aspiring police officer and or Lego lover, Happy building!.
I am validating the poor experience of others who have bought/built this product as well as other Lego sets that use similarly designed helicopters. I bought it for my 6 yr old grandson who expected to see the helicopter fly/hover at least a short distance.
While overall product build quality is excellent, it became clear the helicopter was unable to even lift off of its own accord, let alone fly, from the launch device. On further investigation, it was evident that the downdraught/lift force provided by the rotating rotor was inadequate to overcome the weight of the helicopter.
The rotor, when not fitted to the helicopter, was easily able to lift off and stay airborne for several seconds after launching with the launch device. The poor experience of this product has now reduced my expectations for similar products like #60260 which have now been removed from my wish list.
It is disappointing the Lego designers did not pay more careful attention to this functional aspect the product to give a positive play experience. The rotor lift force and total helicopter weight must be readjusted/redesigned to give a net positive lift force.
Only then can Lego live up to customer expectations for producing innovative functional products for a positive play experience.
Relive a fiery battle between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader with this LEGO Star Wars (75334) buildable toy playset. It features a battlefield with 2 rotating battle platforms, a battlefield-splitting fire pop-up function and a mining cart that can be knocked over.
There are also 4 LEGO minifigures included – Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, each with lightsabers, Tala Durith and droid NED-B – to play out Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi scenes. Unique Star Wars gift for ages 8 and up Thinking ofbuying this set as a gift for a Star Wars fan who is new to LEGO sets? No problem – step-by-step illustrated building instructions are included to guide them.
Unlimited creative fun The LEGO Group has been recreating iconic starships, vehicles, locations and characters from the Star Wars universe since 1999. The LEGO Star Wars theme has become its most successful one, with a wide variety of cool buildable toys to delight people of all ages.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. My nine year old and three year old absolutely love building legos. He loved this set because it has some new characters he hasn’t gotten in his other Star Wars sets.
He really liked NED-B character, and the battle scene he built. Such a great toy to foster creativity and dexterity.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This is such a good Star Wars set! I love that it comes with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader and two other characters. My kids have so much fun building and playing with it.
I like that the instructions are so easy to follow along. I definitely recommend!.
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. The light sabers and the spinning legos are my favorite part! This iconic scene is made only better that you are in charge of how it ends! Will Darth Vader WIN? Your powers are weak, old man! Worth the cost.

Let’s start with the bad. First, we couldn’t get the Autobuilder build to work at all. The design is very finicky, as the grabbing claw isn’t connected to a motor, and is completely reliant on the friction being just right to pick up pieces and release them in the right place.
We simply couldn’t get this to work. If the friction was enough to pick up a piece, it wouldn’t release it. This was obviously very disappointing, and was only made more frustrating by a week of utterly worthless interactions with customer service via email, chat and phone, which ultimately seemed to conclude with a shrug and an “it’s an inconsistent build.
” (For reference, the phone seems to be the way to go on the customer service, although the online chat was helpful once when a firmware update froze up in the middle of the night) The second major problem is that the app is essentially crippleware, in the sense that it deliberately disables many of its programming features when you are trying to use them with one of the main builds.
This is an artifact of the basic design, which for each build walks you through a series of activities which gradually introduce new features for each build. For each build, you can only access coding blocks after they have been introduced in an activity, but the result is that fundamental coding features like variables and conditional statements are completely unavailable in most builds.
You can use them if you start a robot project from scratch, but then you can’t access all of the blocks specific to the individual builds (of which there are many). This problem could easily be fixed by an update to the app, for instance automatically opening up all coding blocks on a given build once you have finished all the activities, but it is a huge design flaw, and makes the claim that the product teaches children about variables borderline false advertising.
Now for the (mostly) good news. In terms of play value, this has to be one of the best, if not the best Lego set for the money. The fact that it comes with five builds (four if we ignore the Autobuilder) and an extensive set of activities for each one is a great start, and of course it allows building and programming a robot from scratch as well.
But it also includes several builds that can serve as the underlying base of a build-your-own robot, including a walker and a wheeled vehicle. We haven’t tried these yet, but they look like they will be great gateways to completely from-scratch designs.
I think the cat was my favorite build, partly because nearly all its various activities integrated well and could naturally be combined into a single complex program which for instance randomly chose between several options for what the cat would do next.
The guitar was a pleasant surprise, mainly because it behaved so differently from the others — it demonstrated that the motors could be used as physical input devices rather than to move parts of the robot.
Vernie and MTR were cool but a bit underwhelming, and in terms of activities both felt a bit like a bunch of random conflicting ideas tossed together. I did end up with a sense overall that the app team ended up underemphasizing actual physical interaction with the robot, so that my kids spent a lot more time dealing with the iPad than looking at or interacting with the robot.
But that’s not to say there weren’t a solid number of opportunities for interaction with each model. Minor flaws included a buggy app with a tendency to crash, and sensors that weren’t always reliable (mistaking similar colors, or behaving slightly inconsistently when measuring distance).
It seems like more careful testing of the builds and activities could have mitigated this even without hardware changes. The app also has an annoyingly persistent insistence on avoiding words, which makes essentially no sense in the context of a product recommended for ages 7-12, and results in nearly non-existent documentation that makes a lot of its behavior far more mysterious than necessary.
It goes through batteries fairly rapidly, so a good set of rechargeables is recommended, but in all the builds it’s easy to swap the batteries in and out, so this was no problem for us. Overall, it’s frustrating in that it could easily have been a total home run, but the two major issues described above create a lot of unnecessary angst.
Nonetheless, it’s already provided far better value for money than any of the other Lego products I’ve gotten for my kids, and I expect it will continue to be a major activity for the foreseeable future.
My kid got this last year for Christmas and is still playing with it almost a year later. He will take a few months off, then go back to it and do it all over again. If for that reason alone, it was worth every penny.
However. The tablet- and phone-only app is disappointing. Pretty much all kids have computers of one sort or another these days, especially with COVID-19, and the absence of Windows or Mac apps is a VERY disappointing oversight (to say the least).
Even some sort of universal, web-based plug-in would be welcome. My house is full of Surface Pros, Windows, and ChromeOS devices. We have a total of one tablet – a smallish Fire Tablet. Discontinuing Windows support may have made sense in 2018, but now it is a head-scratcher.
Also, not having universal Chromebook support is an odd omission for a company with Lego’s resources. So much for “one device to rule them all,” because a tablet isn’t it.
I ordered this a while back when it was on pre-order, but my kids didn’t receive it until Christmas and just opened it recently. We own numerous Lego sets of all levels, but this was the first one to really disappoint us.
The bricks themselves are fine, but the app and functionality are the real let downs. I had made sure our device was compatible, but the app still crashed the first time I opened it. Once in, we were a little lost since it wants you to build a little tractor first, which isn’t one of the items showing on the box.
It’s part of a learning phase, before they want you to move on to what’s pictured on the box. So we built the tractor, but when plugging in the external motor, the app kept saying “plug in the external motor to continue,” with no option if the port didn’t recognize the motor, as ours was doing.
Long story short, by this time, still within the first few minutes, my kids had already gotten bored with the app crashing and the port not reading the plugged in motor, that they left the table, not the result I was wanting for a family build.
Over the next two hours, the app hung up or crashed probably 15-20 times and the one port never recognized the motor. There is no help or text explaining what to do, I finally saw on the Lego website that they recommend deleting the app and reloading it, though they point out that you will lose all your progress and have to start back at square one since the app forces you to unlock the builds one by one.
We were also frustrated that when we attempted to build the robot, when we entered that section, it thought we already had built it and wouldn’t give us the option to see the directions until we programmed his head to move (the directions button wouldn’t work until you completed programming tutorial of the robot we hadn’t built yet.
). And of course once we got to the directions, the app crashed again, and then again. At this point, I called our local Lego store and they said “for the Boost set, absolutely no return or exchanges if opened,” but did give me the corporate customer service number.
When I called, the representative got a good chuckle out of all our issues and said, “Yes, it’s a decent set when it works, but we get a lot of complaints about it not working. ” My son was disappointed that we are returning it, but I can’t see dealing with such a headache, especially for $160.
Problems: -App is not stable -App forces you to progress through the builds in the order they want you to do them, the rest won’t unlock -App has no directions, some of the coding blocks we had to look up on the Lego website to see what they did -Port didn’t recognize motor, though it could be plugged in elsewhere, for $160 should work on the first day.
-Sounds plays through your device, not the Legos. -No tray to sort the pieces, which would be handy when rebuilding into multiple configurations.

Bought as a gift for grandson. Over 1000 pieces and he enjoyed it tremendously. He called me showing me on FaceTime the various stages he was at during building process. When completed he showed me all the moving parts and started hinting at his next gift occasion an even bigger set.
A little on the expensive side so it’s for big occasions that I get one. It does last forever. Some pieces of course are extra small so be careful not to lose them. I have and will continue to purchase the Star Wars sets.
To complete the series may be never ending as there are so many choices. I’m happy with this purchase and more importantly my grandson is too. It’s a wholesome gift that gets them using their mind for things other than phones and video games.
Now he looks forward to the next big gift occasions such as straight A report card or his upcoming 16th birthday.
As a Star Wars fan and someone who enjoyed helping my Harry Potter obsessed wife build her Lego sets – I finally decided to spoil myself and get this. It’s a really fun build, surprisingly detailed and took a while to finish.
On the inside you get a kitchen, sick bay, recreation area, a main area and, of course, the cockpit; which is able to fit two figures into it. I loved everything about the inside of the ship. The exterior looks fantastic and detailed.
You get guns on the top and bottom and four legs on the bottom to make it stand properly for display. But the fact the flaps never truly close and only click in on one side is a minor point off of it.
They also never seem to really to sit right when they are closed so it can look a bit messy if you’re looking at it from behind. Otherwise it is fantastic. The only other minor thing I’ll put against it is the selection of figures they used.
I’m fine with everyone but Boolio. I get they’re going for the accuracy of the movie they’re specifically basing it on and all – but he’s such a minor character. A Han Solo figure would have been better.
It’s Lando’s ship originally, but in an iconic sense we know it as Solo’s ship. It’s just a strange decision when in other builds (like the Death Star) they have no problem blending different movies into the same set (trash compactor and final duel for example).
With that aside, I’d recommend this to any Star Wars fan who may find the bigger one too expensive. It’s a very reasonable price for what you’re getting and it will look great no matter where you display it.
I bought this set for May the 4th with double VIP points and such. I was a little worried about it not being worth the price however, my expectations have been blown away. Minifigures: The figures are great! The Lando is obviously a big one for this set.
Boolio is great for people like me who love unique alien figures. And surprisingly the C-3PO. I though it was just another one to the collection, but it has some great printing thats new to 3PO. Build: The build is great! There is so much detail in the interior and they got all the classic parts of the Falcon.
I especially love the Sabaac table. Another big thing is this is the first playlet falcon that fully covers the roof with no gaps between the panels. The build is also very light and stable so I can pick it up with one hand for transportation.
Two things that are unfortunate is that when mini figures are sitting in some of the chairs or when they are standing the roof doesn’t close, but thats not too big of a deal. The biggest downside to this set is the cockpit.
It is extremely difficult to fit 2 mini figures in there and closing the roof over them is a challenge on its own. All in all this is a great set for play, display, or anything else! I would definitely recommend this to any lego fan or parent looking for a good star wars set.

LEGO City playsets deliver an enjoyable build-and-play experience with feature-rich buildings, realistic vehicles and fun characters that inspire imaginative, open-ended play.
One of the most fun sets I’ve built! The building has a nice organized layout and I absolutely love the vehicles, especially the dump truck. The police vehicle has room in the front for one minifigure & the dog that comes with this set, in the back of the car you can fit another minifigure locked up.
The helicopter was a nice simple build, spins very nicely. The dump truck can fit one minifigure in the front and you can fit up to three minifigures in the back if you want to. The play feature of this is fun by lifting the dumpster and emptying it out in the truck.
This set comes with stickers but nothing too frustrating, at least they’re good size to hold and apply the best you can. Overall I’m very satisfied with this set & cant wait to expand with the other new sets!.
I bought this for my 5 year old nephew, and (quick humble-brag,) it was his FAVORITE of all his gifts (go me!!) I don’t have kids so I was really struggling what a boy his age would want. The box says 6 and up; my nephew is 5, but I know he is familiar with LEGO products, the instructions are easy to follow, and I also knew my brother (his dad) would be there to help if needed.
So for the right kid, I do think this is appropriate for age 5. He ignored all of his other gifts and played with this all day 🙂 It’s also pretty cool because it integrates with his other LEGO stuff, so he’s taken it apart many times and re-built it in his own way, or blended it with other kits.
I loved watching him play with it that day in person, and now, 2 months later, I’m still getting pics from his parents of him playing with it. So precious!.
Given as a gift to Grandson who is a keen Lego builder and collector. He says it is great and has good detail. He especially likes the Dustcart as the device is very effective and really tips well. Great detail and providing much play time and fun.
Clear instructions. Ordered and arrived as agreed with an efficient delivery service. Many thanks and will buy from Smyths again.
It was a smaller box than I expected but I paid a comparable price and my nephew, for whom they were intended, loved them. I even played with the Legos (at age 36) and didn’t realize an hour and a half had passed.

As far as Lego sets go this one is pretty overpriced to be honest, but that’s down to Lego not Next. I had a voucher so glad I didn’t have to pay full price. Other than the price the set is pretty small, but the minifigures are really cool so it kinda makes up for it imo.
My six year old grandson found it very difficult because of the tiny parts and they fell apart easily before you could add the next pieces. One piece he accidentally put on backwards and it couldn’t be removed so we had to abandon it halfway through.

I usually collect larger sets (~500-1500 pcs. , mostly vehicles) but once in a while I stumble upon a smaller one that simply cannot be ignored. This happens to be one such case with the strong ’80s vibe that’s radiating from the cover of its box.
A very nice sports car indeed, accentuated by the choice of color: azure blue which is a relatively uncommon shade. It’s the perfect size for any LEGO city and uses quite a few interesting elements despite being so tiny.
It also has really nice proportions and displays quite well. My only minor gripe is with the small gaps behind the rear wheel arches but other than that it’s nearly perfect. I especially like the adjustable rear spoiler and the way it still looks great as a convertible by removing the roof piece.
This is a slick toy car, one suited for any Lego city. I was also grateful that the driver has a smug look on his face. This way I can have a speeding driver for my police patrol to chase. Still, be careful when you try to play with it.
Only two studs hold the roof, so it can pop off easily. It is fun to play with, but do not be surprised if a child will constantly turn it into a convertible.
Bought two different lego sets as Christmas gifts and then decided to get one for myself. This set is my second one. It looks like fun and hoping my 5 year old will get into Legos too. He loves Rocket League and this looks like a car he would have on that game.
I bought this for me to build and maybe display, still debating on maybe letting my son play with it.

I’m upset because all of the pictures make it look like you are getting a durable plastic box to keep your Legos in. However, you are getting a cheap cardboard box with a plastic lid instead. Alternatively, it would have been more environmentally friendly and not misleading if Lego had just made the whole thing cardboard and ditched the plastic lid.
I previously bought my kids the LEGO Classic Medium Box and that did come with a stackable plastic box. I’d recommend getting that instead.
