20 Best Leaf Blower For Cleaning Gutters (2023 Updated)

I purchased my Worx Turbine 600 Electric Leaf Blower (Model WG520) late last year (2017) after thoroughly researching it and similar leaf blowers in it`s class. I wanted to wait in commenting on it`s performance till I had used it 4 or 5 times in dry, wet, and “in between” conditions.

I have yet to use any rechargeable electric devise that performed well over a reasonable length of time (before losing power and needing a recharge)–thus my decision to go with a CORDED Worx leaf blower.

My property necessitates the use of (1) 100 foot, and (1) 50 foot 12 gauge/3 prong extension cords to run this 15 amp tool properly. Living on the mid-coast of Oregon, my biggest concern was dislodging and moving large amounts of compacted damp/wet pine needles from the pavement.

Even when dry, these needles seem “glued” to cement or macadam. I am pleased to announce that this machine handles dry/damp pine needles, grass cuttings, leafs, twigs, and pebbles quite easily–and I have yet to use FULL POWER ! Any mass of damp/wet needles that don`t budge, only need a quick brush with a push broom, then a second blow, and they are GONE.

I am a disabled senior man who suffers with back and abdominal issues. Although not particularly heavy, the Worx Turbine 600 Electric Leaf Blower “feels bulky” and has a large, wide, thick handgrip for my smaller hands.

By the time I have finished blowing 150 feet of my fence line, my back, hand and wrist are “strongly suggesting” that it is time to quit for the day ! My BOTTOM LINE: this machine has plenty of power for most applications, performs as advertised, leaves my property looking “professionally groomed,” and by doing my own yards, the Worx Turbine 600 should “pay for itself” within 5 or 6 uses.

I would recommend it to anyone–especially if they have a healthy back, medium-sized+ hands, and normal energy levels. This machine is definitely not a small, lite, flickable toy; rather, a NICELY-ENGINEERED and powerful garden tool.

Wow! It completely blows the gas one away, no pun intended. You won’t find this power at this low price with this be the exception.

I had to return the first one I purchased as it was missing the tube. Although I was disappointed in the missing part and having to return to the store, the exchange was easy and took about ten minutes.

I checked that all 3 pieces were in the next box and went home to use it. I was impressed with how well it performed. The noise level is better than most vacuum cleaners, it is light and easy to use.

I suggest you not wear baggy clothes when using it or be very mindful when using it as the air intake sucked my shorts in. Great little unit that actually does what it claims. Perfect for my needs.

I knew from the beginning a 30 dollar blower wasn’t going to amount to much, but I gave it a shot anyway. I picked it up from my local Walmart after ordering online, and returned it the next day. I’m not going to trash talk the blower.

This is how it really is. When you first turn it on, it legitimately sounds like a hair dryer. It WILL push loose dirt, dust, debris off concrete or other solid surfaces. If you’re trying to blow leaves in grass, you might as well use a rake, as it would be disappointingly faster.

This blower will be perfect for you if you only need it for clearing concrete/asphalt/wooden structures (keep in mind it has very little range), but as for yard maintenance, it will not push anything that has some weight to it.

It struggles with leaves unless there’s no resistance.

I bought the blower to blow off the polymeric sand for paving the interlock bricks. Works great for light/occational use. It’s very light weight for ladies. Other ones are so heavy which I would get tired easily.

Love it. I now use the blower to blow off leaves at backyard too. Saves time and energy compared to using a broom.

For the money this leaf blower will give you everything you need at 180mph flow rate. Strong enough to blow wet leaves and other material fast and easy. Plus it’s extremely light weight.

Purchased on the basis of favorable reviews here and there; no previous experience with a leaf blower / vacuum, and so offer thoughts on the basis of a neophyte. I’m happy, but not elated with it. I debated between cordless and corded, and in the end went with corded on the basis of a small yard that gets an impressive dump of leaves every fall.

Not finding the corded aspect all that difficult, although there are moments when I can imagine the advantages of a cordless beast. But more significantly, I don’t know what someone can’t come up with a cord lock mechanism that is both easier and more effective.

I find it takes a bit of effort to get the cord threaded and looped, especially a cheap, cold cord (guilty). And once in, the cord seems to release itself with a lot more ease than the threading and looping exercise.

Another irritant, and this might be specific to mine, the latch on the vacuum chute seems to have gotten bent somewhere along the way before it got to me. That has made it difficult to get it to latch properly, and more difficult to remove, to the point that removing it can involve a large flat screwdriver.

Again, it might be me, my fingers are small, my hands getting weaker and there doesn’t seem to be a good place to anchor your hand when you go to press the release tabs. The last irritant, again, may be a function of my operating environment, which involved using the tool to vacuum a large number of leaves off a mix of lawn and more sparsely covered areas.

I’ve found that, a couple of times, the housing became impacted with a mix of dirt and mulched leaves, to the point that free movement of the impeller is affected. It can be dis-impacted using screwdrivers and picks, but it isn’t a trivial task, as you have to work around the impeller.

I’m done for the fall, but I’ll probably look at whether the impeller can be easily removed, or the housing taken apart if it happens again next fall. These are the negative aspects. Aside from these points, the thing blows and sucks like a beast, isn’t too noisy, it made the fall’s cleanup easier and faster, and I used about a fifth of the yard waste bags that I used to.

The simple redesign of the “throat” of the Vac attachment is truly amazing. The result is that ALL leaves sucked into the nozzle are reduced to particles the size of a postage stamp (or smaller); this also means that the Vac bag can hold more “mulch” and you do not have to stop/torn off the unit/unplug the “throat” before continuing on with your vacuuming.

The oscillating attachment for the Blower nozzles facilitates clearing the work area quicker. Finally, the motor seems to have more power which also improves overall performance. I would without hesitation recommend this tool to a friend.

This tool is used primarily to clear the fallen leaves of my Magnolia tree in my San Diego CA back yard. It is also used to clear my garage, sidewalks and driveway in lieu of precious water. The size of my yard is just under a half-acre.

I have owned the predecessor of this model which gave me great service for 15+ years. I purchased this unit from Amazon. Although I am not tall, I can easily use this tool in both modes; my wife who is 2″ shorter can use this in the Blower mode, but finds using it as a Vac is a real challenge.

I’m so glad I bought this leaf blower/vac. I’ve used gas-powered ones in the past but decided to go with a nice corded model. This did not disappoint me at all. Outside, the furthest I need to be from the house is about 75 to 100 feet.

It’s very important to use the correct gauge extension cord because using too small a gauge will result in a voltage and power drop and can cause electric motor failures. This model features a rotating knob to control the blower speed and that is a much improved feature over those models that offer just one or two speeds, or those where a trigger must be held to operate.

It also has a well-designed handle that allows the operator to balance the blower and to hold it easily in different position. I haven’t used it as a vacuum yet but I am pleased that the impeller is steel and not plastic.

Conversion from blower to vacuum is simple too. I have no difficulty working with extension cords; I don’t find them getting in the way, etc. This is truly an enjoyable tool to use and immensely simplified cleanup around our yard and gardens.

It made leaf removal a quick and easy task.

I added another 4 ampere hour 20V battery to my inventory a few weeks ago. My snowblower came with 2 of these, and one of my other power tools has one. so I decided to get another one, so I had a spare pair to use with my snowblower.

Shortly after it arrived, we got a good foot of snow. heavy wet stuff first, then powder. I cleared the sidewalks at my condo building, and was working on the neighbors when the first pair ran out. Dropped in the second pair and finished up neighboring buildings on both sides.

So the battery made me the neighborhood hero. Seriously. it’s a battery. Works good, lasts a long time, gets the job done. ’nuff said?.

This season I purchased this battery for my Landroid. Given the description it would seem like the perfect application given the heat management. Unfortunately this was not the case. After a month in use and multiple battery temperature out of range and other errors i contacted Worx and they confirmed issues with the Pro Battery and the Landroid.

They are sending a non pro version and I will return the Pro. Customer Service was great my only wish the website made clear that the Pro battery is not a suitable open for the Landroid. My rating is based on why I purchased the battery.

I bought this because I had previously bought a lawnmower. The batteries that came with the lawnmower (1. 5 yrs old) could not mow my front yard. I bought extra batteries and was hoping for them to hold a charge longer per their description.

I was almost done with the front yard when they lost charge and I had to switch over to the other batteries. The other batteries (ones that came with the lawnmower) when they drain it doesn’t even have a bar left or a green flashing light when placed on the battery charger.

I am on a fixed income with a tight budget and this is very costly for me.

The air-discharge tube dogleg is a clever design that counteracts the horizontal rotational force created by the air discharge off-center tube found on most leaf blowers, minimizing strain on the wrist.

Initially, I wanted to buy a comparable battery-powered leaf blower. To perform the same amount of work (450 cfm), the tool requires a 5Ah battery that is exhausted in 20 minutes. The battery requires a minimum 45-minute charge time with a tool that is slightly heavier than the gasoline powered version.

You can also purchase two (2) PB-2520 blowers for the same cost of a battery-powered tool, without a spare battery necessary to speed-up the work.

IšverstiShow in original languageLightweight, powerful, smooth, and easy to start. This PB-2620 is a replacement for my PB-255LN that was used almost daily to blow out my garage and shop for 12 years.

Yes the 2620 is a bit louder but its more powerful, noticeably smoother, and cheaper than the 255LN. The only negative that comes to mind comparing to the 255LN is higher fuel consumption, although this is expected having more power.

As the 2620 has a chrome lined bore, improved intake filter setup (dual stage) I expect it to last even longer than the 255LN. I only use premixed fuel either VP racing or Echo Red Armor (NEVER USE PREMIXED FUEL THAT CONTAINS ANY % of ETHANOL), its costly but I fuel my equipment and change the air filter every few years and that’s it, it just always works.

Ultimately my 255LN just wore out (low compression). I’m very satisfied so far with my PB-2620 and the buying experience was great going through ACME. This was my first purchase and won’t be my last, Thanks ACME TOOLS!.

This the perfect leaf blower for almost anyone, It is light weight but powerful. Great for removing a yard filled with leaves without straining your arms or your back. I highly recommend this little blower to older people and young alike.

I love mine and use for not just leaves but cut grass on the driveway but also the walks and my carport. I read that it will blow snow but doubt that I will get to try this living in the south where snow doesn’t happen that much anymore, but if it does I will try it out.

I got it today and I used it immediately to blow the leaves at my balcony. WHAT A GAME CHANGER! It cleared the leaves, the debris and seeds from my balcony effectively and quickly! I will never have to sweep it again! Underneath my balcony there is a garden so everything went there.

It was great to clean the little gap between the rail and the balcony floor. I checked the price at other stores and it was cheaper here in Walmart. I got the green colored one BC it was even cheaper! And it matched the rest of my power tools.

I am so happy I got this little, light, easy to assemble, and easy to use little leaf blower.

Lightweight, easy to operate, no assembly other than sticking blowing wand to blower which is as simple as attaching a vacuum cleaner attachment. Strong blowing capability for size. If you have high piles of leaves it takes more time to move the pile around, but for thin layer of leaves it is perfect.

Having to pull along an extension cord can be a nuisance but a trade-off for not having to worry with recharging a battery of adding gas and oil. It also eliminates need to pull a cord to start it, which can be often be difficult, especially if you are older.

Price is also a big plus.

Obviously not a commercial-grade unit, but it cut my leaf-blowing time in half, compared to a smaller, hand-held Stihl unit. I have a large wooden deck under the trees in my back yard and it’s usually a 15-20 minute task to clear the leaves off with my old blower.

The 150BT clears it in 10 minutes. The starting instructions are straightforward and the unit started on the 2nd pull. You can start it on some elevated position, then easily slip it over your shoulder and adjust the straps.

My back isn’t in the best of shape and I had no issues picking it up and slinging it over my shoulder. The “sticky” trigger allows you to pick a velocity and “set” it, relieving your index finger from having to hold the correct position.

Gas tank is more than big enough for my job, so I can’t comment on it. For once, I’m looking forward to the leaves falling, just to see how powerful this thing really is. Quite pleased so far.

I did my research before this purchase. This is the best back pack blower available at this price. The performance is amazing, the weight is manageable and the harness fit is good. I added an adjustable cross-chest strap to keep the unit firmly in place.

I have about two acres of property and our house I surrounded by woods. This replaced my hand-held blower, and my shoulders were extremely happy about that. Starts easy, idles great and I can clear our yard with gas left over in the tank.

This thing BLOWS! Easy startup and it runs strong. The pull cord does require a solid pull as I’ve read on other reviews, but nothing that prevents me from starting it up on the second tug. I don’t think my wife could start it though.

You have the option of two end nozzles, one narrower than the other. I assume they alter the MPH, however I’ve only tried the smaller one. The backpack is comfortable and infinitely adjustable. I have a 48” chest and 36” waist, and mine looks like its adjusted on the small side.

It will fit a bigger fella with no problems. I’ve used it over the last month several times and it does what its supposed to. I cant speak to the longevity of the item but it looks well made. With proper care and maintenance, it should not be a problem!.

I was excited to receive my new Leaf-Jet blower w/Pro batteries. Received the package fairly quick, immediately charged up the batteries, until they were fully charged, waited until the batteries were cool and then started working in my yard.

Initially, I was impressed with the weight distribution, but then I started blowing leaves. Immediately noticed there was not near as much leaf blowing power as advertised. Tried all the settings. I don’t think that setting 1 would even mess up your hair, setting 2 was a little faster, as you’d expect, and setting 3 blew some leaves around.

Tried the turbo for 5 seconds and that did increase the leaf blowing ability, but I didn’t continue using the turbo function, because I wanted a good idea of how long the batteries would last. I had okay (not decent) power for 8 minutes and the batteries were completely drained in less than 10 minutes.

Figured this was because it was the batteries initial charging, so I re-charged the batteries and tried again the next day. Did not use the turbo function at all, but again the batteries were completely drained in less than 10 minutes.

The leaves were mostly dry, but the Leaf-Jet underperformed terribly. I contacted Worx and the representative said that the Leaf-Jets typically only last about 7-8 minutes. Are you kidding me? No where in all of the Worx literature do they say this.

I wasted NO time in returning the Leaf-Jet. This is a prime example of overpromising and way under delivering.

I bought this several weeks ago and was very apprehensive about it. Most Battery Operated Leaf blowers are weak and useless. I have a huge amount of leafs and battery operated blowers do not do the trick; Until Today.

I purchased a Nitro and could not be happier. It took care of my whole backyard easily. I’m on a little over 1/2 acre with woods behind my fenced in yard. Many Trees on and around my property so it is a tall task.

Nito handled it with ease. The different settings and Power Blast is perfect for my needs. I was able to blow everything out my back gate. I was doing a happy dance when I was done. It saved me from buying a gas operated blower.

I got tired of dragging around an electrical cord just to clear my yard of leaves. I wish I could have done it with 1 set of batteries but I’m lucky enough to have many PowerShare Tools so I only need to change batteries once.

I began buying WORX power equipment within the past year. I started with a battery operated lawn edger, then I purchased a battery operated WORX hedge trimmers, I have been sold on WORX ever since. I was a little skeptical regards anyone making a battery powered blower that was powerful, but I was wrong.

This power blower has force and power to spare. Besides being light weigh and easy to handle, it is definitely the best battery powered blower on the market. The burst of power feature is convenient when you come across the area being cleaned that just needs a little more power than what you have the output power set for.

I only bought this product a day ago and have already returned the blower for a refund. Started very quickly and was running well but after about 20mins lost around 50% of power and then it continued to stall.

I tried it over and over for the next hour but unfortunately the blower didnt come good. Im hoping I just got the dud and everyone else has a good experience. One thing I did find is that this blower is quite heavy even after my short use it does take its toll on your arms.

Finally, when the blower was running well it was great and did the job with ease. Hope this review helps.

Positives: Easy start, comfortable handle with throttle trigger, relatively compact motor body. One of few 4-cycle consumer models available so few to choose from which is PRIMARY reason why I bought it (and it had reasonable ratings) (there’s profe$$$ional alternatives though).

Blower tube has 2 sections, can be disassembled for storage but not necessary as entire unit is reasonable length, low center of gravity design, not too wide. Acceptables: Moderate wind velocity, enough to move tree pine needles from 15′; Close range can scoot approx 3/4″ decorative river rock back in place on hard surface.

No obvious shoulder harness mounts, appears to be designed for SINGLE HAND carry, so you’d want to wear long heavy pants as it’s heavy enough you won’t be able to keep it from brushing/resting against your leg if used longer durations.

Yes, you could put other hand on blower tube but I have never had to do so (usually unit has second handle bar for steadying but this doesn’t). Minus: WHAT NO ENGINE OIL PROVIDED! Oil dipstick is curved/flexible and wiry/thin so DIFFICULT to determine clean/clear new oil level.

Dipstick enters opening then curves downwards into angle/elbow which is the most odd dipstick design of any small engine I’ve ever seen so unless you know the exact capacity, very much expect max/overfill situation (by then it’s dripping out the fill hole all over the place.

PRINTED WARNING that if oil overfill could cause WHITE SMOKE and/or FIRE (?????)! Obviously designed by an R&D engineer but not refined by manufacturing/product use engineer. VERY SMALL OIL CAPACITY.

I have 10 storage facilities and I bought 10 of these blowers for use at the facilities. They are easy to maintain, spark plug cleaning and oil check/oil change and using straight gas. They do suck air in from the left side of the engine so when you hold it in your right hand you do have to keep it away from your body or loose clothing that might cover the air intake.

I have had no complaints about their use, overheating or bog-down with too much use. They are easy to start with their easy to understand starting instructions and they’ve lasted much longer than any gas/oil mix leaf blowers we’ve used in the past.

I’ve got some that are 2+ years old and still going great.

I bought this newer model with the hope of getting more power blowing the leaves out of my landscape beds and lawn. It was to be an upgrade from a Husqvarna I purchased many years ago with no problems.

First, I was taken back by how heavy this unit is. However, I suppose a unit with this much power is going to be heavier than I was used to. OK. Second, I had a very difficult time finding the primer bulb.

The manual does a poor job explaining its location. It was not until I looked at a photo on the website that I was able to find the hidden primer bulb. Third, Starting is VERY difficult. The cord jams easily and does not smoothly extend when pulling causing the unit to “hop” around.

In addition, it take many pulls to get the unit started. Fourth, the straps for the backpack are tough to get situated and continually fall off the shoulder. Having said all that, the power is what I expected and the distance it blows and the cleanliness of the lawn are all positives.

I have used this unit four times before I decided to write this review.

This is the first time I have had a backpack blower, and I wish I had gotten one long ago. I have been using a handheld blower for years to blow off a big driveway and decks all year as well as the leaves off of my 1/2 acre of lawn surrounded by oak and maple trees in the fall.

The handheld works, especially for the driveway and decks, but the lawn would take hours and I would need to blow the leaves onto a tarp and carry them into the woods, because it was not powerful enough to move the sheer volume of leaves to the edge of the lawn.

I would need to do this in stages, as my arm would literally get numb from the vibrations. Enter this backback blower, the Husqvarna 350 BT. It is midsummer and I have only christened it with a single blowing of driveway and decks, but I can already tell it is going to be a freaking game changer.

I looked a little on Craigslist before buying this and there were a lot of used Stihl blowers available, but I went to see a couple because they have the reputation as the leqader in this class. I was disappointed because they were pretty clearly all heavily used commercially and pretty much worn out, which is why they were being sold.

Anyway, this Husky had great reviews and I decided to get it. The assembly was really easy and it seems to be really highquality. I am 6’2″ and I left out one of the tube extensions it came with, but I might need it in the fall.

As it is, the wand is plenty long. It started up on the first pull, and is comfortable to wear. It seems like it is running at a slow speed, but I am sure it is as designed, because it blows so much better than the handheld when that is screaming like a banshee.

In fact, my wife hates noisy machines like jetskiis (we live on a lake) and my handheld, but she likes this, and was even tickled when I blew it at her from about 80 feet away and she could feel it pretty well.

It made short work of the driveway, decks and path. It moves so much more air than the handheld and I was done in half the time and really enjoying it. My wife even noticed how fast it went. I am lolking forward to the fall and think I might not even need the tarp.

The 350BT blower has been a great investment for our small landscaping business. We’ve used many of the other comparable blowers on the market, but our teams are outfitted with Husqvarna 350’s. Aside from being powerful, they’re really comfy, relatively quiet when throttle is fully opened, the straps are easy to adjust, they start on the first or second pull and are easy to maintain.

My favorite feature is that we almost never have to do repairs, which keeps our equipment on the job site and out of the shop. The only real gripe we have is that they require a strong pull and are very hard to start if they’re on a teammates back- you need to put the blower on the ground to re-start.

All in all, the 350BT is a great blower and we will absolutely be keeping them on our trucks for the foreseeable future.

I bought this as a step up from my current worx single 20v blower. This is a big step up! I have used it on wet leaves in the yard & it really gets the job done. At first I thought I always had to use it on the fastest speed and hit the turbo switch.

I was surprised at the volume of air that comes out on the lower setting. For dry leaves the lower setting worked great. For sticks and wet leaves the higher setting is needed and the turbo boost really comes in handy for stubborn items.

It does use up the batteries faster than my old blower but that is to be expected because it has way more power. I did blow off my entire almost 3 car wide 70′ long drive way, all of my sidewalks and all of the leaves out of my front yard before the batteries gave out.

I have four 4 Ah batteries so, with a battery change, I can go to the back yard and finish up. It is light weight and easy to operate. This is another great product from the worx team. Thanks Worx!.

I bought this blower specifically to blow dry my new van (I despise water spots)! A great addition to the other PowerShare tools I own. Like all the Worx products, this blower does everything I want I to, and more.

It’s powerful, has multiple speeds, and is light enough to use overhead and I never run out of battery charge! Outstanding battery life, on ever product I’ve used! Superior quality, and above average customer service.

This review is only for the Toro F700 leaf blower, Toro part no. 51624. Received this on December 7, 2021 and used it the same day on damp, fairly small (1. 5 inch wide) leaves. Power is amazing at wide open speed, but so is the noise.

I have earmuff-type workshop hearing protectors and I recommend using something at least that good to prevent hearing damage. The blower is heavy enough that when you use it one handed, you have to resist the recoil with the arm that holds it and that arm gets tired.

After about two hours, my right hand was numb from strain, and next time I’ll try to attach a luggage or laptop bag shoulder strap for support. (see below) There is no trigger, only a start-stop switch.

Air speed is nicely variable, not limited to one or two speeds, and only adjustable by a rotating control. I like that method rather than having to hold a trigger down for long periods when the holding hand is already busy.

And I’m also glad I chose a corded blower over a battery one. Maneuvering a 100 foot cord around isn’t a problem, like 20 or 30 minute battery life would be. Toro offers a “universal” gutter cleaning kit that includes an adaptor to the 51624 blower (this one), and the kit’s Toro part number is 51668.

That kit also apparently offers a shoulder strap that looks like it fits this blower. I recommend this blower.

I purchased this to replace a WeedEater electric blower that died. Read some reviews that compared it to ‘hurricane force’ winds and thought I would give it a try. I also have a Black & Decker and a SunJoe.

Wish I would have known about this Toro blower before I bought them. WOW! This one is incredibly powerful! I use it for blowing leaves, cleaning sand (lots of sand) off my garage floor, and blowing my barn floor clean (hay, mud, leaves, dirt).

It takes less than half the time it took with the other units. I “almost” bought a Stihl BE61 instead of this Toro because of the STIHL reputation, but I am glad I went with the Toro -it is definitely more powerful than the Stihl! You can’t go wrong for the price of this blower.

It is a little heavier than the other blowers I have used, but not so heavy that you can’t handle it. Thanks TORO, this is one amazing product.

This IS a powerful leaf blower! You will get min 2 years out of the product after warranty is up *GOOD LUCK*! Toro support is non existent. Any phone number listed for Toro brings you to an automated voice prompts so speaking to a live person is challenging.

Corporate office did answer and a supervisor DID call back a day later just to say sorry for you luck. The only service parts are the on/off knob and the tube. Read the reviews not hard to find other reviews where the fan blade explodes.

Maybe a suggestion for Toro “trade up program”? suggested, they DO NOT OFFER any such program. Do not buy Toro!.

I got this middle of last winter was using it consistently for a couple weeks and all the sudden it just quit turning on and off something didn’t feel right I needed it so I took it apart found a couple pinched wires that were stretched pretty good.

And then this little piece that’s at the end of the slide for the rotating switch is broken/ missing. I left a picture and circled the area it’s whatever touches the sliding plastic piece to the micro switch.

I can’t find one anywhere or a parts break down, doesn’t look like you guys sell parts. I’m hoping somebody reads this that works there and gets back to me and maybe you can help me out I love the unit but it will not work the way it is, in hindsight I probably should’ve sent it back for warranty but I like I said I needed it.

I did some research before buying the PowerJet F700 Leaf Blower (51624). I bought it primarily to go with the gutter cleaner kit. This leaf blower has plenty of power for both the gutter attachment kit and blowing ground leaves this past fall.

From someone short I am passing the age of trudging up the ladder and this worked great on the gutters of our one-story ranch home and detached garage, even with wet leaves. I will in the future try to keep the gutters clean before rain, which will make the job even more efficient.

Should have bought these years ago. Would definitely recommend.

Loved this blower when it was new and was top rated by a consumer magazine, but after only 5 months of consumer use the impeller imploded during use rendering it useless. A disposable poor quality product even for consumer use.

To add insult to injury there is no warranty so it ended up being a waste of money. I don’t expect electric blowers to last forever and have bought several Toro blowers over the years. This is the absolute worst design.

Come on Toro, you can do better! Please design a durable consumer product! This makes your brand look bad.

I purchased this product solely for the vacuum component and have been very disappointed in its design. The bagger does not come off without having a tool on hand, forcing me to keep the bagger attached to the blower while emptying the bag.

Also, when operating as a vacuum, the exhaust shoots into my face. After a less than an hour of use, the fumes get overwhelming. Once the bagger and vacuum hose has been attached, the blower no longer sits on the ground in a level manner that would allow easy fueling and pressing down on the blower while starting since the plastic bagging attachment extends past the lower end of the unit.

The blower can be turned sideways to alleviate part of the offset problem, but then it is sitting on the gas tank sideways which makes me uncomfortable even though it does not leak. I have used it twice at this point for about three hours each usage and plan to only use it for blowing from now on.

The vacuum portion was a waste of money since it seems to be poorly designed. On the positive side, the blower starts and runs great. The blower has plenty of power for a hand held and mulches quite nicely.

I owned a 125BVX for the past six years and it ran like a champ in spite of heavy residential use. I was very pleased, but it was just time for a new one (sounds like the piston ring is cracked, which irreparably scores the cylinder liner) and I was hoping to configure the old one for vacuum and keep the new one as a blower.

The first new 125BVX blower I received from Lowes came right out of the box with a broken Starter Cover Housing (Piece 44; part number 545111801). This part new from Husqvarna is $9. 99. Called Husqvarna.

They would not send me a new part to replace myself because that part is “safety-related” and tampering with it would void the warranty. I had to take it to my local authorized repair shop to fix under warranty.

That “shop” is about 20 miles away and is actually a large landscaping supply (topsoil, gravel, bark, etc. ) business that happens to have a Husqvarna-certified guy on staff. I quickly found-out that the Husqvarna warranty does not cover labor—only parts.

So I would have to drive 20 miles to pay a guy at least $35 (minimum one hour) to change a $10 part on a brand new blower. So I sweet-talked Lowes into taking it back. I first ordered another one from Lowes, and then got an e-mail a few minutes afterwards saying it was back-ordered.

I then ordered it directly from Husqvarna thinking I would get it faster than from Lowes. Wrong; the “back-ordered” one from Lowes arrived for pick-up at my store three days before the one from Husqvarna arrived at my house.

I kept the more expensive one from Husqvarna (Husqvarna offers no military discount) thinking my chances of it being a good one would be better. While Piece 44 was intact on the new one, the unit ran horribly even with the expensive genuine Husqvarna 95 octane ethanol-free pre-mixed fuel.

It sputtered and ran like it was gagging for fuel. Keeping the choke engage helped a little, but not much. It also couldn’t rev-up from idle without gagging. Of course, Husqvarna said they would gladly take care of it under warranty.

again for $35 an hour 20 miles away. So I did a little research on YouTube and blogs, bought a $10 small engine carburetor adjustment tool kit from Amazon and adjusted that poor quality Zama carburetor myself.

It was way-off; must have been set for Death Valley summer instead of Pacific Northwest late fall (uuuhhh, like when most people use leaf blowers???) Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, the strap broke-off the vacuum bag the first day I started to use it.

I had to sew it back on manually into the dirty bag, and made it stronger than OEM. In summary: (1) Read the fine print on “Limited Warranties,” in this case, labor was not covered. Husqvarna should cover labor for at least 90 days to accommodate dead-on-arrival units without frustrating their loyal customer base; and (2) I can’t believe I could receive a brand new unit shipped directly from the manufacturer so far out of adjustment, pretty disappointing quality control from Husqvarna.

I bought this for the mulching/vacuum attachment to suck leaves out of my yard. I am extremely disappointed with both the quality and performance of this product. You are forced to carry around a tool to take off the bag and also open up the mulching door, which you will have to do constantly because it plugs up every couple of minutes.

The tube you attach for the mulching is a pain to put on and is a very poor design. I feel the unit is terribly underpowered. I love my husqvarna chainsaw and was hoping to have the same love for this product but that’s just not the case.

My dads old craftsman would run circles around this thing and it was probably half the cost. I would not recommend and I have no idea why this product has 4 star reviews! Also I bought mine from a local tractor supply and I’m not sure why husqvarna would use them as a retailer.

They had no product knowledge and did a very poor job. Wishing I had went with a stihl at this point.

I was given one for free from my neighbor 6 years ago, and it was 3 years old at the time. I maintain 18 yards weekly and this ‘lil beast has never let it down. I have never had to do any advanced maintenance.

I will not sell this fine piece of engineering. Has more power than my piece-of-junk RedMax EBZ5150, and it way lighter and easier to use. I will never buy any other brand besides Husqvarna. I own this blower and a 128LD weed whip and if you maintain them and they will take care of you.

We purchased this blower for small tasks around the house to keep from going to the barn to get out the gas pack blower (which by the way gets used a lot). However, after getting this we are starting to use it more because of the ease of use.

No mixing gas and no worries if the battery is not charged or won’t last long enough on the charge. We just keep the extension cord handy and plug in and go. It really does a great job and because it has a variable speed so you can work around areas that you don’t need a lot of air blowing.

It is a little heavier than we thought but we adjusted to it, if you plug it in and it is on full blast you better hold on because it will push your arm backwards with force. We feel we made a wise choice with this WORX blower and expect it will last for a long time.

Over the last several months we have purchased several WORX products and have been extremely satisfied with the quality and reliability of those products.

We have surrounding park trees that drop needles, pollen cones, leaves, and branches on our walking paths, patio, pool cover and all over the yard. A berm wall on one side blocks our ability to completely blow debris off the pool cover.

Most leaf blowers just blow the debris from one side to the other. The 20-ish foot range and power of the Worx 800 allows us to blow debris away from the pool cover all the way to the fence line for easier removal, and almost all of the debris off the pool cover.

The Worx 800 moved about 90 gallons of needles and pollen cones from and around our plants that I could not have raked out without ripping apart the plants, in a much shorter time and with much less effort.

And the noise level is lower than the similar powered gasoline device used by the yard service. The yard hasn’t looked this clean in years!.

I previously had another worx combination blower/vacuum/mulcher. The vacuum mulcher part worked well, but the blower was very unimpressive. The worx turbine 800 is a different story. You get the power of a back pack type blower, but the convenience of electric instead of fighting with something gas powered that doesn’t want to start.

Just plug it in, push a button and go. This unit is so much more powerful and more light weight then my previous one. I never saw the appeal or understood the hype of a blower until I got this unit. Definitely recommend it.

Great power at a great price.

This is the very first battery-powered blower AND a backpack style blower. I am literally blown away by how light and effective it is. This 80v unit does its job moving the leaves and other debris with enough force and volume — all without any smell or deafening noise.

The best part of it is that its light weight and bright green color actually made my 11-year-old WANT to blow the leaves. He had a blast and wants to keep doing it. It was very simple to put it together out of the box.

The construction of the unit feels sturdy and it comes with a 4-year warranty. My 4Ah battery provides plenty of run time to clear out my yard. If you have a rapid charger and at least 2 of these batteries, like I do, you can practically run this thing continuously.

This makes yardwork really fun and rewarding.

This is my second of these devices – the first one ended up at my home and the second at my office. Overall, good design. Having the battery (the heavy bit) in a backpack makes it much easier to wield for longer periods than the handhelds, as it does in the case of a gas-powered backpack blower vs.

a handheld gas-powered. Bravo, Greenworks. Especially noticeable when using a 4-6ah battery – much better balance achieved. Downside is really only the bit from the outbound air port on the blower itself out to the tube at the end.

I’m sorry to say this, but – it kinda sucks. It’s still usable, but if you are a larger person (guilty), the fact that the blower tube is mostly non-flexible makes it harder to use. Having portions of the radius where you’d normally have corrugated plastic replaced by solid bits puts one at the mercy of the radius; and if you have longer arms, it’s too short in the wrong places to be perfectly usable.

If I were designing it, I’d do what most pro gas blowers do – have a short, solid piece at the blower hole and a big, long corrugated (and reinforced) tube out to the end of the radius (in my case, about 3′), and then a very short connecting ring for the blower tube.

Anywhoo, I still like it. I’m sorry but I’ve hated 2-cycle gas engines most of my life. This is still much better.

I really like this backpack blower. It’s light on the back and has decent blowing power. The leaves haven’t completely fallen yet but I used it to blow leaves out of the gutters and it worked great. Was able to clear the gutters with only one 2ah battery, thought it might take more.

Happy so far.

I almost purchased the 20/60 flex volt blower but like having several spare batteries. After seeing how much those batteries cost, I decided on the 20v max because I already have several 6ah & 3ah batteries.

This blower comes with a 5ah battery & charger. I used this blower for the first time with one of my 6ah batteries. Using the supplied concentrator attachment, blower ran for 15 minutes & battery charge indicator still showed 2 out of 3 lights.

The trigger is excellent allowing a good range of speed from very light blowing to full power. I have a Shindaiwa backpack blower for super heavy or wet debris that no handheld blower can compare to, but this Dewalt 20v max handheld blower has excellent power for doing most light to medium jobs.

I am very pleased with this purchase. If you get an extra battery, you’ll have non stop use of this blower as the charger is very quick to recharge them. Also, this blower is very well balanced & comfortable to use.

I definitely recommend this blower as it is of excellent quality & has a brushless motor that are superior to brush type motors.

My mother wanted a leaf blower like mine. I’ve got the smaller Dewalt version. I went to look for her one like that and they were way more expensive than I remembered them being. but then I saw this thing.

So I bought it. I’m VERY impressed with it thus far. I gave mom my smaller one and I kept this one for myself. It’s got the power of a gas blower. It’s also got a locking trigger, so you can either squeeze the trigger and hold it, or you can use the thumb adjustment on top to set the speed so you don’t have to hold the trigger down.

VERY nice feature! Battery life: I honestly can’t tell you. I know I”m happy with it myself though! I know some folks weren’t happy with the 20V battery life, but I run this on my 60V flex volt batteries for my Dewalt Weed Eater and have absolutely no issues cleaning a 1-acre yard, and garden after mowing or weed-eating and I’ve yet to kill a battery with it.

Sure, it probably does use up 20v batteries but after seeing the power I’m not surprised. I’d just plan to maybe use 20v batteries if I had a big job to do. Personally I’m very impressed and have showed it off to a few friends who are now off to get one of their own.

In looking for a new leaf blower, Dewalt was the first brand I thought of. Almost all of my power tools are Dewalt and they have all proven to have been the right choice. Then I bought a Dewalt leaf blower.

Never been so DISAPPOINTED in a product in all my life. Using a freshly charged battery I only have 13 to 15 minutes to go from start to finish so I have to have a couple more batteries charging in order to get the job done.

But that is only half the issue. The other reason it takes to long is due to the COMPLETE lack of air flow coming out of this blower. The wind force is lacking any kind of real force at all. More like a light wind blowing.

Its so lacking that it will not even clean out what gets lodged between the expansion joints in my concrete driveway. Had to go out and buy an off brand electric blower to get the job done. I expected much better from Dewalt and I find that now when I need a new tool I am looking at buying brands other than Dewalt.
