I had been looking for a small lamp to light up my desk work space. There just isn’t enough light in the room. This lamp is sleek with a small footprint. You can angle it and choose the amount of brightness you need.

There are different modes of light, from shades of white to amber–nice feature if you want to tone down the light at night. The arm completely folds together if you choose. I use the USB charger for my Apple Watch.

Very pleased with this purchase.

It doesn’t take up a lot of space, adjusts without tipping over, and dims. I don’t use the color adjusting feature much, but it does work as described. USB slot useful for overnight charging of phone or Kindle.

This is our second, bought to match the other (still working as it should about 18 months after purchase). Hopefully the longevity will be better than other lamps we’ve tried! Signs are good so far.

Lamp comes folded in its packaging. I bought two of these to match our home office desks. Upon opening one and unfolding it, the hinge at the base snapped in two and is non-reparable. These are great lamps, very unobtrusive, but they are made cheap, and can break easily with basic movement.

You must be very careful with this lamp else it will break on you. I unscrewed the hinge tightening screw on the second one, and carefully unfolded it. Hayneedle was nice to refund my money for the broken one.

So, customer service = 5 star, lamp = 1.

I was surprised at just how bright this lamp was and it covers a wide area of space depending on how you face the flexible wand of LED’s. It’s perfect. It is much better for the area needed and saving desk space.

This LED desk lamp replaced a non economical halogen desk lamp that would get so hot it could ignite a fire if you put paper near it. So hats off to feeling safer and saving $$ on the electric bill converting to an LED.

It arrived quickly. The lamps are bright and work well although one is a little “droopy;” it may need tightening. The end with the LED lights in it swivels, which allows for various angles, but it would be even better if it rotated, too.

The cord is generous. The base is a little longer than I expected but okay.

This OttLite Wellness Series, rechargeable LED desk lamp is so beautiful!!! It looks like it has patches of white leather on it. It doesn’t, it’s plastic (exept for the neck), which is great for cleaning and wear and tear.

The lamp is also bigger than I thought it would be. Even though I saw the dimensions I was still surprised with it’s actual size. It would be great for your desk, nightstand, side table, closet or detail lamp.

The light itself is bright without hurting your eyes, making you squint or giving you a headache, even on the highest setting while using electronics. I’m very sensitive to light and get migraines easily so I have to be very picky about the lights I use.

If this light did not have three light levels I would not be able to use it as much bc most of the time I need a dimmer light. However, it is nice to have the option to make it brighter when I need to really look at something in detail.

The base is wide and has a nice weight to keep it from falling over and rubber for grip. The touch activated, power button is across the base and is very easy to turn on, off and cycle through the three light levels.

The neck is made of a soft silicone and bends into almost any position and stays there. I use this light for many things bc we don’t have great lighting in our old house. I use it when doing crafts, adding light to objects for pictures, in the kitchen when I’m decorating cookies with royal icing, looking behind the tv, reading and doing my nails and makeup.

The fact it’s rechargeable and not tethered with a cord makes it even more convenient. However, I use my light a lot so sometimes I’d rather just have it plugged in if I know I’m going to be sitting there for several hours.

I use my little battery bank and just carry it around the house with me, plugged in, like that.

I came upon this Desk Lamp while shopping for something more traditional looking. I examined the features and liked its size/flexibility. It doesn’t take up much space on my desk. The dimming feature is great, from dim to bright, and, of course, off.

I bought this lamp twice from Michael’s and twice it was defective. I bought it from two different stores even. The first lamp wouldn’t turn on. I tried several different outlets and my spouse did as well.

The second lamp turned on briefly and then suddenly switched to a very low setting and was stuck flickering. Then, when I returned the lamp the second time, Michael’s didn’t process my refund correctly and it’s been a whole back-and-forth to try and get the refund.

A defective lamp is one thing and seemingly beyond the store’s control (even if it did happen twice) but the utter lack of care from Michael’s employees and the sloppy second return process is baffling and frustrating.

I purchased this lamp to use next to my sewing machine, as I have had Ott lamps in the past, even before LED lights were available. This lamp gives off good light (no glare), with three different intensities.

The lamp is lightweight, takes up very little room and remains cool to the touch. I recommend it for any type of close up work, whether used on a desk, or for crafts, sewing or reading.

Very nice sleek design. The light is bright, but linear, so it doesn’t cast light a great distance, great for a desk, or task lighting. I wanted this for my night stand, but it wasn’t right for that.

Adore these lights. We bought two- one for each kid’s room for their nighttime reading lights on their nightstand. They are the perfect nightstand reading light!!! They have a dim feature the kids use so the light is good for reading but not glaring to keep the kids awake.

The light bar folds to the arm but the kids just leave it open. The touch bar is sensitive and easy to see in the middle of the night if they wake up to go to the bathroom or need something, the little on light glows lightly.

Love the USB charging ports in the back and like that it swivels on its base. The kids put their little water bottles on the base. Light weight but sturdy and absolutely perfect!.

This lamp is modern looking and properly weighted. The five light modes are great, as is the slide for turning the light up and down. The central column swivels right and left and bends forward and backward.

I wish it also bent right and left. The wireless charging platform is handy and the lamp does not require a lot of space. A great price too.

As a designer I can tell you that I have purchased these lamps in for many clients over the years and I finally just bought one for myself. They are beautifully and intelligently designed and the flexibility in size and lighting configuration can’t be beat.

Plus you can choose a cool or warm light. The dimmer is also critical when you need that slight adjustment and I can knit in the same room with my family watching tv and they aren’t disturbed by the light.

It might not be the cheapest option out there but in terms of design and quality, I can assure you it is worth every penny. I will continue to put these in my client’s houses as they are always a home run.

I bought this lamp for my home office. I wanted something simple, flexible, attractive with a bright light. This lamp is excellent. Very sturdy materials and assembles with a few pieces that click together.

I’ve used several versions of the Z-Bar line and I’m always pleased with how well they work and how much impact they have. It seems like there is no position they can’t cover with their flexing joints and multiple brightness options.

I bought this lamp for painting tabletop miniatures and I really like it so far. I’ve only used it for about two hours total and it does everything I need. The articulation of the arm and lamp make sense and worked well.

I bought this on Black Friday thinking it was a good light/lamp and a good deal, well I was wrong!! THE light bulb itself is bright and great but the plastic/holder that makes it move and adjuSTable is terrible!! First, I searched everywhere for a Brushed Nickel lamp. Apparently, there is presently a shortage from the manufacturer. I did not want the Antique Brass. If I had wanted that color, I could’ve bought it from several sites for $20 less than I paid for this one, which is posted as “Brushed Nickel”.

The lamp I received was Antique Brass. So I paid extra for the WRONG COLOR. Which is ANNOYING. The lamp appears to be fairly good quality, though it does have a tendency to over-balance if the joints aren’t in perfectly aligned positions.

That’s not a particularly good quality for a lamp marketed to the elderly. The light quality is a pure, full-spectrum light, but the brightest setting isn’t all that bright. So would I recommend this lamp to someone else? No, I would not.

But we will keep the one we received since it works okay &, obviously, the Brushed Nickel version simply isn’t to be had. And it would be a pain to pack all the bits back into the box again. Still: Bad policy to post one thing & ship another.

I’ve been looking for a lamp for a while that’s good for crafting in rooms with low light. The “sunlight” lamps I’ve seen are very cheap looking. But this lamp provides both form and function. It is well-made with an attractive brushed nickel finish (not plastic) that nicely coordinates with my décor.

The swivel arm and head of the lamp allow me to position the light, which has four brightness settings, in any angle/direction I need. Plus, the lamp has a USB port to charge my cell phone. With the 20% off coupon, the price was very reasonable.

This reading lamp is awesome! Being able to adjust the height and angle of the light solves so many issues I was having in finding the perfect light for my reading nook. The LED light does not put out heat which is so helpful in the summer months.

I love the touch controls so there is no issue with twisting, clicking, and locating the switch to begin with! Helpful for those of us with arthritis in our hands! Highly recommend!.

This is a well made, weighted and balanced lamp. A light touch to the switch turns on a low light, second touch brightens and the third touch is the brightest, forth turns off. Nice to have a USB attached.

Keeps the cord out of sight and easy to plug into at night.

Lamp is sturdy and the light adequate. Assembly easy and item is as described. Adjusting the light is ok but the way it is constructed I wonder how long or often it can be adjusted without coming apart.

My purchase of an OttlLite Natural Daylight LED flex lamp (table lamp) was extremely satisfying in every respect: it arrived well before the estimated delivery date, very well packaged. Exactly as advertised, it was fully assembled, and was accompanied by easy-to-follow instructions for its operation.

It is light, so it’s easily portable, it takes up very little space, the design is pleasing and unobtrusive. Most important of all, it really does simulate natural daylight, and it is perfect for anyone with low vision problems.

I’m thrilled that I can now see to read, with no eye strain. So happy with it, I’ll probably buy another one, so I can have this lamp in my bedroom and in my living room. In addition, the price is very reasonable for a product that delivers exactly as advertised.

Bought this lamp based on the styling, plus the fact that it was on sale was nice. Works as described, very stable. I use the 2nd brightness setting as I find the 3rd (highest) setting is too bright for me.

I’m a private artist and find that this lamp is excellent for supplementing natural light. The easy on/off switch that can be operated by touch (rather than a switch that might get painted) is nice and adds to the overall sleek design.

I already have a desk lamp from this series for my home office. Just purchased the clamp-on versions for my kids’ desk in red and orange. These lamps provide focused task lighting in an unobtrusive but high design presentation.

Some might think they’re too pricey but I think they’re worthy every penny.

This lamp was on sale and I thought it would make an excellent gift for my husband to use on a small desk where he is working on detailed plans for a remodeling project. We were pleased to find that the many ways the lamp can be configured allows it to fit into a couple of places on his small desk.

We love the ability to adjust the light intensity and the direction of the light – it works well and is easy to use. The blue color adds a pop of color to our room.

I have the regular Z-Bar mini for my main workstation and bought the Minifor a smaller workstation. Advantages are lower price, more color options, smaller base fits takes up less room. The only disadvantage is that it puts out less light than the full size Z-Bar and doesn’t work as well with a stand-up desk options because it’s doesn’t extend as far as the full-size.

For a smaller sit-down desk, though, it’s perfect.

I bought this light to use in our vacation condo and loved it so I much ibrought it back home. It has 3 light brightness settings and I have found I use the second setting most of the time. The lamp is so lightweight it can be moved around with one hand.

I use the lamp for paperwork, scrapbooking, crafting, and cross stitching. The color changing base is a fun feature.

Waste of money. Lasted less than a year. Touch senser broke, so only way to use was unplugging the power source.

This lamp is perfect for my desk. Flexible. Well-balanced. Just the right amount of brightness. BUT the directions that came with it seem to be saying that the bulb cannot be replaced. I get the impression that when the bulb burns out (hopefully years from now), I can’t replace it but will have to buy a new lamp.

Can that be right?.

The light is great but, the bottom of the base has a bulge in it causing the light to rock a bit. It makes the base not stable. It should have more weight in the base to have it be solid. The bottom is covered with felt so not sure what is causing the bulge.

Otherwise the light is great.

This lamp has solved a problem for my husband and me of many years standing: providing light adequate for one of us to read by when the other one is sleeping. The design is brilliant – equal parts clever, attractive and functional.

The circular base is heavy enough keep the lamp stable no matter how you aim the neck or head, and both swivel independently and with ease. So now we have two, in contrasting colors, one on each side table, and we really love them.

Specified this for a client and they love it. Color, flexible positioning and the USB port is an added bonus. The color options are outstanding. A pop of color does the trick in any home.

The lamp is delicately designed. Easy to move around and turn the direction. I chose the wireless charging base and it’s supper useful. Two little flaws: the wireless base and the light have separate wire and make it dangly, and the switch is difficult to locate when sitting.
