For what it was designed for, it is an awesome light; small, lightweight, versatile, & durable. Was originally disappointed in the strength of the beam. (I’m used to lights with 350-500 lumens). But for discreet light that keeps you from “stumbling in the dark” it’s just right.

And it runs on readily available AA size batteries. The blue and red LEDs each have minimal night-vision disruption.

For anyone with a clue about what light you will need in the event of a SHTF light source this is the one to have. You won’t need or want a 1000 lume light you’ll need and want a 10 or 20 light just enough to light the trail in front of you.

This is the best bang for the buck light I have and love it. Strong clip to hold it on your tach belt or leg holster can aim it down to light the trail each of the 4 colors have 4 brightness settings that are easy and fast to set it’s water tight and even has the cool cable to hold the case bottom so you won’t lose it.

Def worth the money!.

Great hands free admin light, can see maps without lighting up half the county to do it. Red light cover is a nice bonus built in, engages with a quick slide.

Durable, watertight and works well in very cold wet weather! I have 4 of these lights 2 on helmets and 2 on plate-carriers. The Visable lights make writing and/or reading perfect especially with 3 brightness settings for each.

I use the red for night reading flipping up my NODS to read. The IR strobes are excellent on a helmet and also having one in the front of the plate carrier helps at distance, I also run blinking V-lite IR’s on the top back of the helmets.

This light is a great task light. I wouldnt count on this thing putting out a beam to a far distance, but for night work this thing is a must have. Be sure to read the model number so you know what version you are paying for.

Under night vision the low blue light doesnt flare the lenses in the need that you need to brighten up an object. IR strobe is pretty bright and up close will hurt your eyes under nods.

All I need to say is that it’s a Surefire. In my opinion, Surefire is the elite of tactical and weapon lighting systems. I will not have anything else on my weapon systems. The toughest, brightest lights hands down.

This model of light from Surefire is another success in the tactical arena of lighting systems. Built extremely well, easy to use and adjust. I would highly recommend this item for use as a secondary lighting system mounted on your helmet or attached to a harness.

I accidentally ended up on this webs site from a Facebook ad and eventually made a purchase looking for a small efficient flashlight for EDC. When I made the purchase I did it expecting a lot of overhyped product pushing for a unreasonable price.

BOY WAS I WRONG. The flashlight exceeded all my expectations. Its small and packs a hell of a punch and has various settings. While lengthwise i wanted something smaller I decided to keep it anyway. The brightness is unbelievable for the size and it reaches far not to mention the strobe feature and dimming feature it is versatile.

I made the mistake of semi pointing this flashlight at my eyes when I first got it and was checking to see if it was charged it left me seeing spots for about 2 minutes and that was not with direct exposure so it’s a good flashlight to disorient.

The built in charging feature is incredibly convenient as well. Highly recommend this mini lightsaber.

Ive been in public safety for 40+ years and have had my share of lights. The new P12 has earned its place on my duty belt as my primary light. Its been dropped many times, but shows only cosmetic wear.

The only other lights I have that are brighter is my MagCharger LED (a bit brighter, but MUCH bigger) and a 1 M CP HID. The beam pattern is near perfect with the majority of light in a tight beam, but still has a respectable amount in a wide angle.

The strobe mode is almost nauseating as it varies in both frequency and duration. This just the thing to distract your target. Ive not had anyone (even when impaired) able to look at the strobe more than 5-10 seconds The other night, one of our rookies challenged me to a brightest light contest.

He brought out his big expensive light. My P12 blew it away. plus, my P-12 is rechargeable. I like this light so well that Ive ordered one for everyday carry. Give it a try. youll like it too.

Ordered and paid for light. Received light after a couple of weeks wait. removed all parts and check inventory. Checked new battery. dead. Checked “what to do”. said buy new battery. Ha. Charged for 6 hours.

red light still on and no charge. Charged 24 hours. Green light came on. Installed battery. Turned light on. in complete darkness with my scope on “night” note here I had my smaller scope to turn on and off to see if scope functioning properly.

No light from “New” light. Sent email requesting help. Day two they sent me an email saying they would send me an email tomorrow to help. Never got an email yet. Day Three called service department. Explained situation.

He said, Simple the battery is upside down. I said I installed it per your instructions. he said plus end goes out the bottom. I said “No”. he said let me look. He said, “you are right the plus end does go to the top where the bulb is.

My review might have been better but you see, you have sent me the review before I have gotten the “new” unit so at this point. what with a dead battery, and a non-functioning light, I question your “Chinese” quality control department.

Your scope, which I have had for almost two years is great but of course you gave me a very sub standard light (about 85 yards) to go with it. then you come out with a new light to replace it for an additional $189 (of course this sucks because we all want the best product and that is what I thought I was getting in the first place) so here I sit waiting and wondering if my new light will be operating properly $189 to go with my scope with light $600 and my extended battery $105 in it’s little black case $? which does not fit the stock just flops around in the way.

Of course the stock on a Ruger AR 15 does leave something to be desired but with three buckels and straps. well you know. However. it is similar to the M16 I carried in Vietnam except for the collapsible stock.

Well designed light but has a few shortcomings. A 3 mode option would be nice though and possibly a glass lens. As large as the head is would think lumens would be greater. My own opinion though is a Streamlight 75613 LED flashlight is a better value.

Cant go wrong with a steam light. The beam pierces through a dark tinted window without issue. Its also super lightweight and really durable. At this price its a steal!

Bought for my husband. He uses it for entering and exiting hunting land. Produces a very bright long beam. He loves it

For the quality of the product, I feel like it’s very fairly priced. It’s an excellent device and works great. I’ve used mine on two disaster relief missions and it’s still holding up. The plastic piece that clips on to MOLLE broke on mine when it got snagged in a seat belt.

The broken one sits on my helmet cradle now and I ordered another to fit onto my plate carrier. Hopefully this one doesn’t suffer the same fate, but if it does, I know it can be replaced at a fair price.

Just. Lip it to his collar during periods of limited visibility turn on the IR or visible and he can run but he can’t hide. Not a lot of environmental testing yet but great design and function at a super price as has always been the case with Nitecore.

I bought two. One for my team Wendy helmet and one for my dogs collar. Velcro’s on to both and the hold is Very strong. Purposely tried to bump it off and it won’t. Similar items (ir adventure lights) are 200 a piece very underpriced piece of equipment.

I purchase this light to try for hog hunting at night. Killed 4 hogs under it the second night it was out. Another hog the third night. Seems to work as it should as of now. Both deer and hogs feed under it without being scared.

I have it 6. 5 feet off the ground. Plenty bright enough to shoot through regular scope. Do not need infrared scope.

I purchased 2 of these about 2 years ago. They lasted almost that long. In their defense, I left them out year round for that time. I am going to buy 2 more, but before I put them out, I am going to apply a bead of clear silicone around the edges of the solar panel.

I took my old ones apart to see if I could determine what caused them to fail. When mounted where the solar panel is facing up, it seems that moisture sits in the recessed area around the solar panel and finally works it’s way into the light.

In my opinion, if the solar panel were flush with the light housing, this could be eliminated.

Registering your product online like most products is impossible. There is no visible link to a warranty form. You have to enter your request in the search bar. All the warranty links (more than 50) that are shown only go back to sales info & order forms instead of a warranty form.

The card included with the unit requires all info fields be filled ou & they require you to mail in a proof of purchase. This product for some reason is not sold online unlike the rest of their other products.

WASUP? The warranty is only a year. There’s a lot of hassle involved in trying to register your product for a warranty. I conclude that this is deliberate by virtue of design & the links to nowhere. They really just don’t want to fool with warranties.

It could be less expensive but so could most of these lights in this class. Definitely the top end in game lights though. It really needs more click adjustment positions up and down and more padding on the head rest.

It can make your forehead sore on a long stand even with a cap on. Overall its very powerful and crisp clean light in all colors.

Overall great light. I mostly use the red light. Its nice having a white light for recovery. However, the white light isnt as bright as I thought it would be. I still highly recommend the light. Ive tried just about every light on the market and the Wicked light is by far the best, brightest and shines the farthest.

This light has all you need for night hunting. Variable brightness, variable zoom, as well as red, green and white light with just the turn of a dial. I haven’t used it enough to see how the battery life is, but I assume it will be adequate for a night of hunting.

I wanted to post a review because I was getting conflicting information about what kind of batteries this flashlight can take. A normal brandless 18650 with a button top will fit and power this flashlight (see photos).

But there appears to be variation in diameter between batteries. Your mileage may vary. I saw similar reviews about rechargeable Li-ion batteries not fitting on the SL-B26 product page. So my thinking is that the Streamlight USB rechargeable 18650 does not fit some of their products (the Polytac 90X for instance).

It’s like 0. 5mm oversize. I don’t have one in hand to personally confirm this.

So far so good. Very bright and great to use on your vest if you have molly or somewhere to secure it. I always like to stay hands free so if your able to it’s a great buy. Or even if your looking for something that is small and easy to carry then it’s still a good choice.

This is my 4th Streamlight Polytac LED flashlight. I have two yellows, one at the camp, one in a four wheel ATV, Two in cars. These are rugged, bright and never fail. I also own the metal equivalent in my home but the plastic is lighter, bright, cheaper and works every bit as well.

I tried it on a blood trail, it was about what I expected, wouldn’t help an inexperienced hunter track any better. Not going to find wounded animals any better than my headlamp.

This is one of those products that you don’t think about until you need it. The filter highlights blood better than any ofter blood light or flashlight I’ve used before.

I purchased this product in December, 2016. It hasn’t worked properly since the day I took it out of the box. It is very possible that I got a faulty unit, but it simply doesn’t work as advertised. You can waive your hand under it repeatedly for about 15 seconds and it might (MIGHT) activate the light, but it certainly won’t activate if a critter walks under it.

The first week I had it, I used this light 3 times. Actually, I should say “tried” to use it. There were dozens of deer, raccoons and hogs under the feeder in the span of these hunts. After two hours per hunt, the light failed to activate a single time.

This product is useless and, therefore, worthless. I’m extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. I will NOT purchase another one.

I purchased several of the small kits (for Christmas gifts) you could keep in your car/glovebox probably 5 or more years ago. They all came with this little flashlight. I had an extra kit so I used the flashlight when walking my dogs after dark.

About 10-12 days ago I thought I had just misplaced it and it would show up around the house. This morning during a walk something caught my eye…my flashlight was in the grass all wet and dirty. It’s been rained on, grass was cut and soaked every morning by the sprinkler system.

The thing still worked!! Awesome little light!!!.

I bought these flashlights in the past, and they are really a handy light to have on you! It is well made, the zoom is terrific, light is very bright, and the battery lasts for a long time. I always carry one with me in my carbo pants pocket.

It looks like it was not meant to be used like that, because the switch, after a while, will not work the way it should. So, I replace the flashlight with a brand new one, which will work for a while.

It would be nice if the manufacturer would install a more reliable switch on this fine flashlight!.

Disappointed in that while a AA battery will make it work, it isn’t as bright as others I have that use that size battery. I suspect it is because it wasn’t designed for the AA size battery, they are thinner than the flashlight space for the battery.

That opening is wide enough for a cr123 battery, often used in cameras and radios, but that one isn’t the right length. Still waiting for customer support to get back to me. Overall it’s a decent flashlight, especially for the cost, but there are others that beat it in quality/value.

1. My first impression when turning on the Black Oak LED pods was “got dang these suckers are bright. ” I got LEDs for my rear bumper first for when I’m backing up at night I can see what’s behind me.

It is especially helpful when hooking up trailers or trying to squeeze the truck into tight spaces. I then got ditch lights for the front which are super awesome and really light up anything in front of me which is impressive given their small size.

My new ditch light pods are super helpful when I’m approaching anything with steep incline, whether it be just a steep road or a trail with a hill climb. 2. Personally, I use my Black Oak lights for backing up into tighter spaces, backing up to trailers, backing up to hook up chains, etc.

as well as extra lighting to see things that are higher up in front of me that headlights don’t cover. For example, a steep trail approach angle where I need to pick a line.

Since purchasing this product, I cannot begin to explain how much it has changed things for the better! I’m a patrol officer who rotates from night shift to day shift. I am a Traffic Homicide Investigator as well as a DOT Inspector.

This product allows me to be highly visible on crash scenes, and while directing traffic (no joke, this device is brighter that some patrol cars I have seen). It also makes the document examination process of DOT that much easier at night.

Working nights on a traffic stop is no longer a concern when I use the guardian angel. The device lights up the whole around me in dark areas on the side of the highway. Definitely love, that you can turn on the rear light so your visible to on coming traffic and use the front light to check IDs or search vehicles.

The guardian has different modes on the front and back so it has multiple functions when in use. I will never go on night shift without the guardian on epaulettes again. Love this device.
