This thing is worth every penny. Several degenerated disks, two pinched nerves (one in the neck the other in the lower lumbar region of the back, and an extensive amount of arthritis all over the spine left me miserable and began to effect me in profound ways.
My entire being was suffering both physically and mentally. I had no idea pinched nerves could drive a person crazy. Leg pains, numbness in the calves, feet, ankles, and forearms, as well as some bizarre neuropathy that sent a flash of uneasiness across my entire being.
Specialist doctors are overbooked and move slowly. An orthopedic surgeon, a Nuerologist, a Chiropractor, and a Massage Therapist either offered little relief or were moving to slowly. I ordered this inversion table out of desperation and was amazed with the results the first time I used it.
I went incrementally and slowly fearful I may make matters worse. By the time I set the pin on the 4th setting I had a breakthrough. Decompressing the spine solved most of my problems instantaneously.
I’m no longer experiencing numbness, wicked neuropathy, flashes of pain, and I’m no longer going bananas. I truly believe everyone even young people with healthy spines should be inverting regularly.
This machine is as essential as a toothbrush. It is miraculous. Get one even if you don’t currently suffer from back pain.
Very satisfied with this item. We had a Teeter brand before this and this one is honestly better and cost a third of the Teeter version. The pouch to hold the lumbar heat/massage control is lousy, but you can just let it hang by its cord and not worry about it.
Ankle lock system is comfortable and better designed than a Teeter too! People who comment about how hard it is to assemble are obviously not too bright or never bothered to look at the pictures in the assembly instructions because it is absolutely simple to put together.
much easier than say an Ikea piece of furniture is! Someone also commented that it is hard to move because it doesn’t have wheels. lmmfao. FOR A GOOD REASON! Can you imagine being strapped in and inverted while you start to roll across your living room uncontrolled and turned upside down because you wanted wheels?!? Darwin award.
JUST BUY THE DANG THING , QUIT WONDERING AND ORDER IT TODAY U WONT REGRET. Why pay $600 plus when THIS WORKED FOR ME BUY IT and YOU MAY BE BETTER BY THE NEXT DAY ATLEAST A LITTLE. DAY BY DAY IM getting BETTER and only had 1 week so far, Well lets start by the fact my lower and mid back has been BAD BAD for around 30 years.
I was at the point I WANTED TO SHOOT MYSELF MANY TIMES and was UNBEARABLEY MISERABLE. I decided to try this unit. THE FIRST DAY I GOT IT I hung at just past level for about 3-5 mins. IT PULLED MY SPINE OUT OF MY Assets and I CAN ACTUALY WALK IN THE MORNINGs NOT STARING AT MY FEET FOR A CHANGE.
I MEEN SERIOUSLY. It has a couple of SMALL FAULTS BUT THE FACT I CAN WALK AND NOT MISERABLE as I HAD BEEN OVERRIDES ANY THAT SMALL SUFF. IF YOU ARE HURTING AND TRIED EVERYTHING and NOTHING HAS WORKED.
BUY THIS UNIT and I REALLY THINK IT CAN HELP U TOO. TRUELY. This IS NOT A SOLICITED STATEMENT EITHER. BUY THE DANG THING JUST BUY IT. Tnkx Rex.

As a professional contractor this was the most difficult thing I have ever assembled. Instructions that came with it were not for this model. My unit does not look like the picture on the advertisement from NFM, and it didn’t even help to Google it’s assembly.
Beyond that I love the pain relief I get from it. MRI shows that I have a herniated disc. I use the unit (3) times a day for about 45 seconds per session. Any more or less seems to make my results less desirable.
Also for this treatment, the inversion is very slight, probably 10 -20 degrees below level. I simply love the results. I have relieved my leg pain so much that I can actually sleep the night through without stabbing pains keeping me awake.
Go get one. Instructions say that it is not for spinal injuries, but I don’t think a herniated disc is a spinal injury since it is a malfunction in the formation of the disc’s. Working miracles for me.
I purchased the Best Fitness Inversion Table for my wife’s birthday. She used it once and never used it again because she did not like the feeling of being upside down. The Inversion Table did appear to be made of very high quality parts and had several safety mechanisms.
It was also easy to assembly and the directions were very clear and easy to understand. My two daughters loved to play with it flipping upside down, which was definitely not the intention of the table which was another reason to let it go (keep away from kids).
I would say that this table probably would benefit someone, but I would also look into the tables that lay flat and stretch you out. Also, the inversion table does not store very well and needs an decent amount of space (take that into consideration).
I ended up selling the table on craigslist. Again, appeared to be good quality, high safety design, but did not help alleviate my wife’s back pain so that is why I would not recommend it unless you are fine with blood rushing to your head.

The Stamina inversion chair was recommended to me by my son-in-law who bought this product for himself. Because of my age (87) I thought an inversion chair would be easier to use than an inversion table.
I was a bit apprehensive about assembling the chair after reading reviews but found out that it wasn’t that difficult to put together. The morning after receiving the chair I was using it. I’m going slow with increasing the angle of inversion.
After 2 weeks of use my back feels better and I really enjoy the sessions. I’m getting my wife to use it as she’s been suffering with back pain longer than I have.
Love the item, did not like the instructions. The nuts and bolts were all mixed together in a bag, none were categorized. Had to build the chair 3 times before we were able to figure out where each bolt went (all different sizes).
Also, the mechanism that secures your legs is very cheaply done. It sticks, and sometimes it does not feel secure. Other than those 2 complaints, we like the chair.
Very sturdy! Many parts to put together, but my husband did it. The only problem is the belt. It is stiff and of poor quality. It’s very difficult to adjust. The belt also falls behind the chair after use, so when the next person needs it, it’s out of reach.
The Teeter DEX II Inversion System is a forward-rotating, user controlled inversion machine. The body is placed in a 90 degree position which helps to flatten the lumbar curve for greater separation of lower vertebrae.
Traction is applied to the hip joints. The Dex II is ideal for back extension exercises. The unique traction handles offer a method for increased decompression. Perform a variety of body-stretching and strengthening exercises in the comfort of your living room with the Teeter Dex II forward-rotating inversion machine.
The machine, which offers a sturdy lap support and adjustable leg supports, puts your body in a fixed 90/90-degree position that helps flatten the lumbar curve and separate the vertebrae. Once in position, users can perform a host of inverted stretches and exercises, from back extensions to spine stretches.
The traction handles, meanwhile, help you stretch your lower back in a whole new way, with the ability to increase the decompression of your spine for even better results. And as a bonus, most of the traction is applied to your hip joints and spine rather than the ankles and knee joints, thereby relieving pressure on your most vulnerable areas.
Construction details include a sturdy, square steel tube design, a durable powder-coated finish that resists scratches, and a washable, padded vinyl mat. And thanks to the corner feet, the Dex II is remarkably stable even on slippery floors.
The Dex II fits users who stand between 4 foot 8 inches and 6 foot 6 inches and weigh up to 300 pounds.
Many years ago due to chronic pain from injuries I bought the Teeter hang up (made with cloth). Now days I’ve seen where their made with rubber or plastic I believe. Might point is this, I loved the product so much around 15 years later I see the DEX II, and buy it immediately.
I’m a disabled vet with multiple spinal issues from injuries, plus having had low back surgery and a need for a couple in the neck. The DEX is easier on my back compared to the full inversion of the Teeter up.
Now I can partially invert my self and not have the weight of my entire body in the movement. On those really bad days I can even just use the machine like parallel bars, and get an even lighter form of traction.
I do this by locking out my elbows, and allowing my feet to dangle as I rise up through the shoulder’s. Which actually helps me to maintain strength in my shoulder that needs a total rebuild. I can’t really use the inversion support bars for push ups, it’s to wide for me personally due to my shoulder.
But I like using the bars just to hold onto for a stretch while bending over or for support during squats. I can’t say enough about this piece of equipment, just like my first Teeter product I love it.
Like my original Teeter product I purchased the DEX directly from Teeter. If you have back issues, this thing is great, just go slow find your pace and enjoy. It’s worth it.
My Teeter Dex II is an extremely well made and well designed piece of hardware. I’ve been using it about a month. I have suffered from lower back pain for many years. I have degenerated discs which allow the vertebrae in my lower back to curve out of vertical alignment.
The Dex II has definitely reduced my back pain. Hanging upside down makes me slightly dizzy and tends to upset my stomach a little but it is worth it. I started out using the DEX II about 1 minute at a time.
I have gradually increased that time to two minutes. I started out using the Dex II twice or three times per day. I am currently using it once per day for two minutes. I will definitely continue to use it as my back is currently feeling much better as a result of using the DexII.
I had a Back Revolution many years ago and regrettably sold it when I moved out of state. I was really happy to finally find this machine to replace it. It basically does all the same things. I have scoliosis and this gives me some much needed decompression of my spine.
I also love it to for the exercises I can do to strengthen my core. I would love to give this 5 stars except for two things that I have also seen mentioned in prior reviews. As a 5’2 female I have no problem getting into the hanging position but getting out of it is a bit difficult because the curled bars are too far away even when I have everything set at the shortest position.
I am on my tip toes and completely stretched out as I try to bring myself to the upright position. The second and worst problem that I have is that the pad is VERY uncomfortable. The groove in the pad is too hard along the curved edges and digs into me.
I use a folded towel to give me extra padding but I can still feel the hard edges. I am assuming this groove is for the mail anatomy. I wish there were a choice between a grooved and ungrooved pad. I never had this discomfort with my old Back Revolution which had a much softer pad.
Regardless, I am still very happy with the machine and the benefits that I achieve from it. Please let me know if you ever have a revised pad available.

Easy enough to assemble. Took me about 30 minutes alone. I’ve had lower back issues for 15+ years with disc problems. Bad pain radiating into my hips too. Can barely walk sometimes. Thought I’d finally try an inversion table.
When I ordered my back was in terrible pain. By the time I got it I was feeling fine. Built this and tried it for just a few minutes. Felt good like it stretches my lower back more than ever. Next day by back was hurting.
did it a few more times that day and thought I was feeling better. Just did it again today and now my lower back feels like it going out. Not good. I heard this isn’t for everyone. Maybe it’s not for me.
Sturdy enough build for the price. Seems solid and easy to use. But I’m not sure yet it’s going to help my lower back.
Great product, easy to assemble. Works as advertised. Got here (nyc) fast. And great price. Requires some space as it doesn’t really fold up well. Have herniated disc and had sciatica for 4 months, not really responding to physical therapy.
I use table at 20 degrees for 30min 2x/day, it relieves pain for a time. I feel like (and confirmed by some studies) that if I keep this up for six weeks I might be able to fix my back long term. Wish i got it two months ago (not sure I can wait 6 weeks at this point.
After enduring horrible pain in my lower back for over 2 weeks, I could not deal with it any longer. I think it may be a slipped disc. Unfortunately for me, whatever the cause of the pain is – it is also pushing on my sciatic nerves.
both right and left. This has been going on non stop for the last 2 weeks. Waking up is horrible, I wake up with a really stiff and painful lower back. When I try to get out of bed that is when the sciatica rears up and knocks me down.
I got this inversion table today in hopes of relieving the pressure and pain in my spine and near my sciatic nerves. I’m upside down right now using it. While the price is great and it seems to be very durable, the ankle support or whatever it is that holds you in place at your ankles, is horribly designed! My ankles hurt so much right now and no mater how I try to adjust the placement of my ankles it just won’t stop hurting.
Aside from that I feel pretty good upside down, I just hope that when I flip right side up my back will no longer hurt.

I purchased this because I was having back pain from sitting and it really helps. I use it twice a day for two minutes and have gotten to the point where I can also do 15 crunches while inverted. Not bad at 67! However, I did have a male friend try it out and he is very top heavy.
It didn’t work out so well for him. He managed to get inverted with my help, but couldn’t get back up on his own. I would not recommend that someone who is overweight use it alone. Also the instructions to put it together are not great.
The pictures are way too small for senior citizen eyes, and the parts are numbered/labeled on the instructions, but not on the parts themselves! So it took much longer than I would have liked to put it together.
This inversion table is exactly as advertised. The instructions were good however I did still need to watch a couple of Youtube videos for reference and clarification on a few steps. The end result- I’m very happy with this equipment.
It is a solid, sturdy frame, with smooth operation. My back already feels better.
Our acupuncturist recommended using an inversion table for back pain (about 15% incline for 3-5 minutes several times a day). I ordered this model because of the padding and reasonable price, and couldn’t be happier with the decision.
It takes a couple of hours to put together but the instructions are very clear and everything is well packaged. My husband and I use it every day for our joints as prescribed and the results are amazing! Decompressing the joints gently (only slight incline) and consistently (several times a day) have resulted in much less pain and better mobility.
Relieves back pressure by elongating the spine. Reverses negative effects caused by gravity. Increases blood circulation. Relieves pressure on discs, ligaments, and nerve roots. Dimensions: 45. 5 L x 27 W x 63 H inches.
It is made of heavy gauge steel tubing for supreme longevity. You will love the extra-long and extra-wide fully padded backrest. A unique four-position adjustable safety pin allows for safe and easy inversion positions without the use of a lower strap.
The center rotational bar is also encased to prevent the possibility of pinch points in the inversion rotation. The table folds for easy storage and comes with four comfortable foam leg rollers.
The table works great; just getting it to the correct setting so you can go backward and up easily takes a bit of adjusting. The set up took quite a while but, finally got it done. The table is sturdy and stable.
I do not put the ankle holders on too tightly and it lets me slide a bit when inverted but, helps get into and out of the inverted position/ I wear socks and my tennis shoes. I come back to a flat position, after being inverted and stay there for a couple of minutes before coming the rest of the way up and then stay there for a minute or so before bending forward to unlatch my ankles, this slow process keeps me from getting increased pain and spasms.
I have a lumbar L4-L5 herniated disc that is about a month out. Started using the table at the beginning of week 4 after my injury. I could not have used it sooner than that with all of the extreme nerve pain that I was having.
I have only inverted to the minimal inversion setting and this seems fine for now. I did it about 2 minutes, 3 times a day the first 2 days and now trying 5 minutes at a time for 3-4x day.

I have spinal stenosis, sciatica, and 3 degenerated discs in my lower back. These conditions have been with me for the last 40+ years. (I am 69 years young. ). Until 8 months ago, Chiropractic kept these ailments from interfering with my quality of life.
Then, the conditions got worse – in the mornings I could barely walk after getting out of bed. Only a 15 minute session on my chiropractor’s decompression table gave me any relief — and that only lasted a day or two.
Seeing that the decompression table did give me relief (albeit temporarily) he suggested that I invest in an inversion table. I researched several leading brands and chose Teeter for the following reason: 1.
FDA registration and UL listed 2. online training and support 3. build quality – I am 260lbs. Putting those altogether, it was a no-brainer that the Teeter FitSpine LX9 was the right inversion table for me.
The first time I tried the table, my sciatic pain was gone within minutes. I used the Teeter 3 times a day and within one week, I was once again walking perfectly upright. Pain levels reduced from debilitating to quite bearable within one week.
Now, a month later, most of the time I am pain-free. I used to have to “pull” myself up the stairs to get to the bedroom. The strength in my lower back and legs has returned to the point where I now only hold on to the handrail for balance, not support.
I got to this point following Teeter’s online video for beginners with low back pain. I use it 3 times per day as follows: First: 2 minutes in a horizontal position – This relaxes the muscles and my pelvis – especially since I use the Posture Pads as well.
Second: I invert for 3 minutes and I use the Traction Handles – 10 seconds on then 10 seconds off for the first minute or two. (I started at 20-degree inversion, then increased 10 degrees each week. Now, I do one minute at 60 degrees, then 1 minute at full inversion, then 1 minute at 60 degree) Third: I return to horizontal and slowly return to the mounting/dismounting position over the course of 1 minute.
To summarize: in just one month, the FitSpine got me from living with excruciating pain, to being pain-free 90% of the time. THANK YOU, TEETER!.
I had been seeing chiropractors for well over a decade. I also have utilized acupuncture intermittently to address pain from scoliosis-likely caused in childhood accident and a compression fracture from horse back riding accident in my 30’s and also early 40’s.
I decided it was best to go every 2 weeks to maintain being pain free. My Chiropractor left the practice and I started studying various strengthening methods to help. My husband suggested we revisit the idea of Teeter inversion table we saw on TV in the past and did so.
I have been using the Teeter at first every other day slowly and worked up 60 degrees where I am maintained for now. I began once daily after about 10 days and now 2 times daily most days. I have been amazed at this point I have not needed to see a chiropractor in 10 weeks.
I felt like I was taller and my back more supple and my exercises were easier to perform. I also noticed positive changes in intestinal function and genital/urinary function which I attribute to some correction in the lower back where I have scoliosis and improvement in the SI joint stability (with my floor exercises).
It has been a tremendous improvement in my daily activities-taking care of 4 horses daily on my farm and walking my German Shep about 1 1/2 miles around the farm. I look forward to continuing to work with the table.
While I am a health care professional, I am glad I have had Chiro help, body work in the past, and acupuncture which is helpful in figuring out where the problems are and making life manageable I am glad I made Teeter inversion table a major part of maintenance of back care to allow my spine to have the spinal decompression which I needed.
The LX9 has been a blessing for my back. I knew that there were issues with my back and neck for some time, but a chiropractor adjustment every few months normally took care of it. I used to sleep on my back, which is my preferred sleep position, but I got to a point where it was no longer comfortable due to my mid and lower back, so I had to start sleeping on my side.
The only time I could sleep on my back at that point was right after a chiropractor adjustment. Recently, I had started to need an adjustment more frequently, which can get expensive. I had used an inversion table many years ago, so I knew of some of the benefits and started researching them.
I found that Teeter was one of the better brands. While they are a bit more expensive, they make good quality products and their inversion tables specifically addressed my needs. I would rather pay for good quality and get exactly what I need rather than getting something cheaper and it not doing all that I need it to do.
After I settled on Teeter from my research, I found out that my chiropractor uses a Teeter inversion table and he recommended it for my needs as well. I reviewed the models and decided on the LX9, which delivered just over two weeks ago.
The assembly took about the amount of time that the instructions suggested it should and I assembled it by myself. I was impressed by the instructions on the BILT app. I have used the LX9 every day since then.
I normally use it 2-3 times a day for about 10 minutes each time. For the first five days, I started off at 30 degrees, which I found was a good starting point for me to get used to inversion. After that, I went to 40 degrees for a few days.
I have now been at 60 degrees for a week, which was my original goal to be able to do. I really like the strap that keeps it at the specified angle as well as the ankle lock and release system. It is really nice not having to bend down to my ankles to lock and release it.
The LX9 is very sturdy and smooth, which brings peace of mind while using it. I also ordered the Posture Restore because my posture really needs some work due to sitting at a computer desk for most of the day and it arrived several days after my LX9.
Using the inversion table takes a little to get used to at first, but the video tutorials are a great help. I highly recommend watching the video on how to set the inversion table to best fit you and then take the time to figure out the best settings for you.
Even on the first time using the LX9, I could feel my mid back realigning. After about a week, I could feel the improvements in my lower back. Once I was comfortable with inverting at 60 degrees, I could feel a noticeable difference in the decompression that my back was getting.
While it doesn’t do as much for my neck on its own, the neck stretches on the videos have been a great help to do while inverting. At first, I had to consciously focus on staying relaxed while inverted because I would subconsciously tense up.
Once I got comfortable enough to to go to 60 degrees, I found myself more naturally staying relaxed while inverting. After two weeks of use, my mid and lower back has improved to the point that I can sleep on my back again for part of the night without discomfort.
I have also starting noticing improvements in my posture. Considering the condition my back had been in and the number of years it took to get into that condition, I wasn’t sure how long it would take to see results, but am happy to see results so soon.
I am looking forward to seeing just how much my back improves as I continue to use my LX9. Thank you Teeter for making such a good quality product!.

Thought I would finally try inversion to relieve my back pain. Right off the bat, I notice a HUGE difference in my posture. Until recently, my back pain was almost enough to qualify for disability. Mostly due to years of driving long miles to work.
Pain was a daily thing and it was hard to cope. Like a lot of people, I was reluctant to tell my doctor. Over the years, I’ve been warned about my weight. Someone told me about inversion as a treatment.
My 80 year old mother got this table for Christmas and loves it! She states it has helped with her and my father’s back and sciatic issues. So I bought one, hoping it would help me also. I’m giving the product 4 stars because it is built solid (very heavy).
The instructions were easy to follow, and I was able to put it together myself, although two people would have been ideal. I did have to take it out of the box piece by piece, taking it to the room I wanted to set it up in.
The box was too heavy for me to move. The foam pads holding your feet were nice. The locking mechanism was easy to use and adjust without getting off the table. The first few times I used it I only used the 1st setting, then increased the inversion over a few weeks.
The pull on my ankles was very painful no matter what shoes I was wearing. I tried stuffing pillows around them but nothing worked. It began to be painful walking afterwards. The gentle stretching of my back felt good, but the cost of pain I felt in my ankles was not a trade off I was willing to accept.
I will be returning the inversion table today. I wish I could have tried it before purchasing one, my parents live too far away from me to try theirs. My parents still love theirs and use it every day!.
I’ve been going to the chiropractor some time for trouble with my sciatica. However, I’m not able to go to the chiropractor as much as I’d like to, tending to loved ones and family. I purchased this to see if it would help.
When it arrived, my son in law stopped by to put together for me, in exchange for trying it out himself! He was thrilled with the features of this inversion table! He has been over again to use! He said it’s amazing! I have used it as well, and immediately felt relief from constant pain in my leg.
It is a blessing to have available night or day! After leaving work today, I’ll be enjoying it. while listening to classical music!!.

Meanwhile, adjustable ankle cuffs hold your feet comfortably. Beginning in an upright position, the BFINVER10 table allows you to gradually invert using a spring-loaded safety strap that ensures stability during the entire inversion process.
Designed to accommodate users from 4 feet, 10 inches to 6 feet, 6 inches tall, the BFINVER10 table features a graduated scale on the extension bar for simple, fast height adjustments. For additional comfort, adjustable ankle cuffs provide a custom fit that cannot be achieved with the foam rollers common to many inversion tables.
When you have finished inverting, simply pull out two pins to collapse the table and fold it away into any closet. Inversion therapy relieves the pressure that builds up on the discs and nerves situated between the vertebrae of the spine by reversing the effects of gravity.
Proponents of inversion therapy also believe that this method can help to restore proper alignment of the spine, reduce stress, improve flexibility, and increase blood circulation.

I bought my inversion table in 2009 because I had minor issues in my lower back, a bit of scoliosis. I used it constantly at that time, but years later it basically collected dust. I would climb on every once in awhile when I felt a twinge, but I didn’t really use it much.
About a month ago I lost the ability to walk, sit, stand, pretty much anything. I was simply standing one day and felt a sudden jerk in my lower spine. From that point on I was in what I called suicide level pain.
It was every second of every day, non stop level 10 pain. I could do nothing to alleviate it and I was ready to give in and give up. An MRI revealed 2 herniated discs along with severe weakening of the ligaments around my vertebrae.
I decided to give my teeter another try and it has been nothing short of miraculous. When combined with stretching, chiropractic, and light exercise, my inversion table has literally saved my life! I’m still not 100% back to normal and I may never be, but the improvement has been remarkable.
I cooked dinner tonight for the first time in over a month. Doesn’t sound like much but when you consider that a month ago I couldn’t even lie down to get relief, this is a gigantic leap! And I just want to thank Teeter for bringing this product to the world.

I thought about buying an inversion table for a long time but lack of space at my house kept me from it. I’m a female with painful back issues that are getting worse as time passes. This past year I discovered that along with the pain of sciatica and arthritis in my back, I also have scoliosis starting.
I began having crippling pain most everyday and it was even starting to affect my legs. It was becoming impossible to get stuff done. like ordinary housework and yardwork. So after reading many reviews; I purchased this inversion table.
BEST DECISION I’VE EVER MADE!!! After the very first time on this table (only about 5 minutes) I had no pain for the first time in months. I don’t actually go totally upside down. only to the 3rd setting and relax there for a short time.
I do this nearly everyday. Seriously, I can’t believe how well this has worked for me. It does take up space and would not be easy for me to keep folding it closed everyday, because it’s heavy. but I just don’t care.
I love it so much that the space it takes is absolutely worth it. Also, I noticed some reviews mentioned they had trouble with the assembly. I found the assembly simple enough. It comes with detailed instructions and all the hardware is packaged and labeled according to each step of assembly.
The inversion table arrived quickly, was easy to assemble with 2 people, and is very sturdy. It is very easy to use. One thing I dislike is how the peg that you have to move to lock your feet in place is very low which causes me to flex my back forward which is painful due to my herniated disk.
If my back is very aggravated then I have to have my wife present to lock the feet. If the lever to lock the feet in place was longer/taller then this product would have received a 5/5 from me. Overall great product and it has already helped to decrease my symptoms and improve my functionality.

arrived in good condition and all parts were there. assembly took about 45 minutes and was pretty straight forward but alot of packaging material which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. the tools they give you will get the job done but assembly will go faster with real tools.
I have been suffering from lower back pain that came out of nowhere for going on 3 weeks now. I set the bench up and important note. balanced it. I’m about 5’11” and in order to balance it I had to set it for someone 6’2″, keep that in mind for the first time using it.
I inverted for 1 minute at about a 20 degree angle. all was good so I decided to go farther, about 40 or so degrees and all of a sudden I felt a pop in my lower back. was painful at first but after a minute I went to full inversion and stayed there for about 3 minutes and was comfortable except for the blood rushing to my head.
the good news is that I seem to have less pain now and can move around better, I guess these contraptions do really work and so much cheaper than a chiropractor!.
Wow. Very impressed. I’ve been using a gravity inversion machine since the 1980’s and had to finally buy a new one. This machine is great. A bit complicated to put together but good padding, very smooth action.
Choices for different settings if you need them. Especially Love the handlebars to enable you to pull yourself back over so you don’t get stuck, which was an occasional problem with the old machine. The only things I do not like about it is that 1.
it is higher up to get on to the machine, 2. it is a far step down to get off of the machine, and 3. The foot rest is not long enough. It is a bit tricky to get your ankles unhooked and balance on the foot rest before you step down.
(I have size 10 women’s feet). The price on the other hand was outstanding and the action of the machine is super smooth and comfortable. Just a joy to use. Plus I use it more because I can do it myself – I don’t need someone to stand by in case I get stuck so they can pull me over to the dismount position.
I bought this unit after a friend with back problems who had researched several inversion tables bought this one and was happy with it. Overall the quality was better than I had expected. I followed he advice of a couple other reviewer comments and used my own tools to assemble so I could tighten the nuts more than with the freebie thin metal ones included.
They would probably wok well enough, I just wanted to make sure they were very tight/prefer to use real tools for these type little assembly jobs. I agree that the safety (maximum tilt) strap could use a little engineering change but I moved the clamp positions around and it doesn’t seem to get in the way when rotating back to vertical.
I have had back pains for years and as I have gotten older it bothered me more and more so I finally decided this was worth a try since my friend had great luck with it. Now, I have only been using it a week, and I am slowly tilting farther and holding it longer.
I try to use it 3 times a day for maybe a min inverted and will increase the time and tilt slowly. I was a little skeptical but I will say that I already notice an improvement. I don’t feel the constant pain as before, and when I am in bed I find it easier to get comfortable.
My friend said it took him about 3 weeks of use to really get relief, but even if this is as good as it gets I’m still glad I got this given the increased comfort I have already experienced.
