13 Best Interior Led Lights For Cars (2022 Updated)

I first purchased this bulb a few days ago and the bulb didn’t work no matter which way I installed it. So then I tried the more expensive zevo variety, which worked, but was terribly dim (I should have read the reviews first).

I decided to purchase the other 6411 bulb just to see if perhaps I just got a bad one. I’m very glad I tried the second one because it worked after a few tweaks to the bulb while it was in the socket! This makes me think the first one I tried was probably good too, but for some reason it probably didn’t work due to an electrical connection, even though it fit very tightly in the socket.

The 6411 is MUCH brighter than the zevo variety! I’m so glad I gave it another try! If your bulb doesn’t work, and you tried both ways of installing it, it could just be a poor electrical connection.

Move the bulb around and it will probably work! This bulb will replace the 578 as well as the 6411 and it’s so much better than the incandescent! Bright clear white light! You really can’t go wrong!.

I installed the lights and after 1 day I noticed that when i left my vehicle the lights came on as normal and when i shut the door they shut off but not completely. There was still a slight glow coming from the bulbs and the only way to fix it is to turn the lights off completely vs leaving the switch in door mode.

My factory bulbs & other brand LED’s did not do this. I expected more from Sylvania. I am taking these bulbs out and returning them and going back to my original bulbs until i find a suitable replacement led.

Bought the LED lamp instead of the incondescent to see if it would last longer. Web site said it was compatible with my car. Didn’t work. Package even said if it doesn’t work go back to the incondescent.

Bulb was for off road use according to package. It was not for the Honda Accord. Had to return it for the incondescent bulb.

I bought them for my 08 Ford Focus. I also bought the expandable circuit for a Mini Fuse. Easiest and best way to do it! I did not receive a 4 amp fuse like it said it would but no big deal I had actually just bought a pack of fuses because of this exact reason.

lol Install was easy enough but very difficult to find where to put it because all cars are different. Under the seat it was hard to find somewhere perfect to mount it and the passenger side under the dash was a huge pain.

But it was easy enough to figure out. TIP! Run your cords from the lights by the trim in between the seats and running up to the front if you have a console shifter that is. All and All I love them! Music mode is the best.

One last thing the doubled sided 3M tape that comes with was terrible, did not stick at all. I also had some extra 3m doubled sided tape in my tool box so I used that since it is very very strong. Awesome Product.

I did make sure all lights were working. But I can’t install them until it gets warmer. Right now with the snow and ice, dirt creeps in on my floor mats. I figured when the weather is warmer, I’ll get my car detailed and then I’ll install them.

Bought this product but was very nervous about the installation as I don’t consider myself a “car savvy” guy. It took a bit of work but it was fairly easy to install. I didn’t have to unhook my battery or take apart my glove compartment to install the lights.

All the wires are hidden and it looks very clean according to all my friends who have seen it so far. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for interior lights just for yourself and your passengers, the lights are hardly noticeable from the outside.

These LEDs are being used as side marker replacements in a classic car. They are very bright and the installation is identical to a standard filament bulb.

I have been buying various automotive LED lighting for the past few years and found that the cheaper LED’s do not last as they state in the ads. I had 2 sets that only lasted a few weeks and burnt out.

I now know that the Philips LED’s are guaranteed 8 years and that they stand behind their products. I which they would come out with a duel contact switch back for the turn signals and LED headlight.

Bought these LED bulbs to use in the instrument cluster of my 1968 Camaro. The improvement in illumination of the various gauges in the cluster was amazing. The price of these was less than anywhere else that sold these bulbs.

great upgrade but failed the Virginia State inspection!!! they told me it wasn’t in the specs / requirements and they made me get the old school dimmer yellow bulbs!!! nuts huh? These bulbs are a huge upgrade but according to the tire and auto place in Virginia, they said it failed.

unless they were just picking on me. I had to return them if I wanted my inspection sticker. that kind of logic is what keeps life from improving and moving forward.

The customer service in Gaston is great. What sucked very bad there is the temperature in the store it feels like you can’t breathe in there. Also Corporate controls the temp in the store. That is horrible to treat the employees and customers like this.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted a car with underglow no matter how many people told me it was ‘ricy. ‘ Summary: The AURA LED Aluminum Underbody Lighting Kit is high quality and will outfit your car with a unique appearance.

The kit provides everything you need to successfully install it successfully, even by yourself if you can get under your car. I’d suggest using automotive ramps. Why buy this kit over simple LED kits that have similar functionalites? It’s made for it.

The aluminum body and silicon-cased LED’s are made for the inevitable rough conditions underneath your car while driving. It’s my dream come true. PROS: – high quality, great aluminum construction – comes with everything you need to install (at least for plug n’ play) – can be installed by yourself – has all the functionality you need from color fading to having the lights flash to your music – comes with a remote – long wires – very affordable CONS: – main remote feels a little cheap / fragile – y-splitters would have been nice to include so you can easily hook up other AURA products to the same control box – it doesn’t install itself.

Opt7’s customer support is flaky, and hardly understanding. My underglow kit malfunctioned, causing the wires to catch on fire and burn a hole into my vehicles battery. Worst thing is that they even said the wires are thin.

It’s taken three days of communicating to even get them to offering store credit, instead they kept offering new lights to me, that I could sell to try and gain some money back. I DO NOT recommend Opt7, nor will I accept a replacement unit to ‘resell’ to a friend that could end up in the same result, that I would then be liable for.

Easily the best lighting package on the internet. So easy to install using the multiple included attachment methods and instructions. 100% plug and play and waterproof, which is a huge plus! Has withstood a good bit of punishment so far and still holding on and working without issue.

Very bright lighting with a nicely featured remote with a surprisingly good range.

Easy to install. Needed to do a little fabrication to get the door jamb switches to fit properly. Thought the door jamb switches would be a bit more robust. Definitely needed this product though and they serve a good purpose after installed.

I bought this kit for a 68 Chevelle. The door switches are flimsy compared to the OE switches and one of the wires fell out of the bulb housing and had to be soldered back. Installed lights are working but am buying OEdesign switches from NAPA.

I suggest you examine the angle of the plastic mounting before buying. I had to fabricate a bracket in order to get the light to point down correctly. Probably OK for some applications though. Paco

I put these in my 2022 Mazda CX5. These were very easy to install. I used the zip ties to secure them in place. I manage to tuck the wires underneath the side panels and underneath the center console, so nothing is exposed.

Then I used the cigarette lighter plug in the center console to hide the switch. The LED lights to my surprise were bright enough to be seen in the light and looks ten times more amazing at night. My little cousins love it, especially the rainbow feature on the app.

Price is very reasonable. I love these lights and highly recommend.

These are super easy to install. I had a previous model on my other car and finally got these to install in my 2019 Honda Odyssey. They work great, so worth it. The 12v plug is a little big but that’s fine.

You do have to get creative with hiding the wires and how you attach it to the seats or wherever. I used the screws to secure it to the fabric after I used the adhesive backing. These ones have a very cool rainbow effect and respond to the music much better than the previous model.

I couldn’t quite get the Bluetooth to work yet but I’ve only tried to get it for about 15 minutes, I’m sure there’s a trick to it. I drive Uber in my Honda Odyssey. Mostly I just set it to blue and leave it to add a touch of calm and professionalism at night, but those going out partying really like the music response and rainbow settings.

Almost all of my passengers comment on how much they like the lights.

I am super super happy with this purchase. My mother even loves them and she’s a hard one to please haha. You are able to chose brightness through the app, they are very illuminating definitely get the leds you are paying for.

One thing I love specifically is that you are able to change the color of each individual bulb as well as create lighter and darker tones of colors on the spectrum. They connect easily to my phone and have brought me a smile everyday, I highly recommend these lights if you’re looking for a better, brighter experience in your car!.

In all honesty the car should come from the factory like this. No reason that it shouldn’t. But if you wanna upgrade it is fairly easy to do. I would caution following the install video because as others have stated you can break the plastic clips that hold the map lights together.

I managed to get it undone without breaking them. The vanity lights are a pain to do as well but they can be done. Glove box light was the easiest. Overall the lighting is way better and really improves the look inside the car.

I do think these are a little overpriced as well.

Absolutely a great value and a must have for your seasoned pony or brand new ride. Easy installation (perfect upgrade after that 8 hour detail cleaning). Great value! You’ll pay twice as much for a tank of gas on cruise night! Improved security and daily use…absolutely! Don’t procrastinate on this one!.

Let me start by saying removing the map light housing was very stressful!!! To the point I thought I was going to break something. I took my time and eventually got it off without breaking anything. After you remove the housing, make sure to push the metal clips back down onto the plastic post so that when u reinstall it fits tight against the headliner.

Why does Ford not ship these in new cars is beyond me. Such a small touch makes the interior feel current and not from the 80’s!.

My son wanted this set to install on a 1986 S15 Jimmy rebuild we are doing for him. We had it installed the day it came. Simple to put in. We used two face tape instead of screws as we are working on the interior still.

They may need to be moved later. They look great and it was a simple install. Took about two hours to install because of wire routing and getting into a switched 12v source in the fuse box. All around great product.

I’ve used these lights before on a previous car and I will always go back to them! Great quality and bright lights! I hooked mine up to a 5-pin rocker switch and it works perfectly! Everything is hidden and tucked away, you’d never know they were there until the switch is flipped.

These lights mount very well under dash and sears. The control box and wires neatly tuck out of sight. They sure had great ambiance to my car

Once again Alla LEDs didn’t disappoint! I’m replacing all my 2013 Tacoma’s lights with LED and Alla has been my go to favorite. Their quality, fit and OEM replacement is seamless. These are my third set having replaced my turn signal/DRL and Fogs previously.

These lights replaced the tiny peanut fender edge parking lights. The difference is literally night and day, easily 5-10 times brighter than OEM and when used alongside the new Alla DRLs the amber forward lighting in parking only is exceptional.

Add the Fogs and it’s easily equal to any off road expensive lights. Excellent product! RR.

I didnt check for longevity because i just got these LEDs. I did however give a 5 star rating on all the others. I have used T10 194s ever since i been driving and they were just ok which was fine by me.

I decided to upgrade and try LEDs and I am very pleased with the brightness of these suckers, these light up my hole side marker its very bright. I was replacing the T10 194s about every couple years, with these ew lights i will most likely wair out my truck before i do the LEDs.

Upon taking the LEDs out of the pack i accidentally dropped one on blacktop about a 4 foot drop, the led bounced a couple times. I though oh nooo iv just ruined one. I picked it up and installed and it worked.

When the leds stops working i will update the longevity but hopfully theyll last the full 50k hrs or 6 or 7 yrs! Im gonna be buying more for my other vehicles no more sylvania 194s, gonna be LEDs from now on.

This is a plastic light very easy to install and hook up. Looks great in my cuddy cabin with lots of light. I did find it hard to get the lens to lock in but once it did it works great.
