An inner tube is a tube that goes inside a tire on a wheel. The tube is made of rubber and has a valve in it so that air can be put into the tube to inflate the tire. The tube helps to keep the tire inflated and helps to protect the wheel from punctures.
You probably don’t think about the tubes you put inside your tires, but with Vittoria’s Latex Road Tubes, you’ll have a slight advantage when it comes to speed. In testing, latex tubes are smooth enough to reduce rolling resistance by a few watts.
And while a few watts may not seem like much, when you consider that switching to latex saves nearly 75g, the seemingly innocuous tube starts to make a dent in your results. The lighter tubes mean quicker accelerations and the lower rolling resistance means you’ll stay at speed for longer.
In addition to being faster, latex tubes are also more elastic to increase puncture resistance. Please note that most major wheel, tire, and tube manufacturers recommend against using latex tubes with carbon clinchers.
Carbon brake surfaces tend to heat-up more than alloy, which can cause latex tubes to burst. Always use butyl tubes with carbon clincher rims.
Make the easy repairs to your bike that are needed by using the Bell Sports standard bicycle inner tube. This product can be used to help you restore your ride to its original level of performance. The Schrader inner tube is made of a high-quality material that can withstand constant daily use.

Remove Tube: reach in between the rim and tire and remove tube. Check inside of tire for sharp objects and remove them. 3. Insert New Tube: Slightly inflate tube, just enough to give it some shape.; insert new tube valve through valve hole in wheel. 4. Reset New Tire: Use hand to reset tire back on wheel. Pry last part of tire onto rim with tire levers if needed. Be careful not to pinch the tube between the tire and rim! 6. Inflate Tire: Inflate tire about half way then check to make sure it is correctly seated all the way around the rim. Inflate to recommended PSI on tire sidewall.
All inflatable tubes subject to deflation from mis-installation and certain hazards. Deflation can lead to loss of control of bike and injury to death. Read important instructions before installing.

I’m an avid rider no matter the weather and I’ve been in a desperate need for some extra bike tubes. I purchased some from Amazon recently that were poor quality – these are great so glad I was able to test it out before anything.
Bought the tube in the store today, installed the same night; while inflating the tire, it blew up at 30 PSI (spec is 35 to 55 PSI). This is exactly the same experience another reviewer has said. I will try to return it tomorrow.
Inner tubes of all sizes to fit every bike in your quiver. Durable enough to keep you rolling, yet light enough to not feel overly cumbersome in your jersey pocket. All inner tubes feature a Presta valve.
Simply put, it’s a tube, it works, it’s priced decently. I had a flat, they had the tube, it fits my tire, it was easy to install. The presta valve is removable which is excellent. A simple great product.
had a moosejaw tech install this on my vintage roadbike and she’s been rippin ever since. super reliable, super light tube enable maximum rippage. going fast and eating ___ is my moto and this fits right in.
Ward off flats with the Michelin Airstop Butyl Road Tube. The thicker rubber adds a bit of weight but makes up for it with increased flat protection over super thin and lightweight racing tubes. These tubes are great for long training rides and daily commutes where a flat tire could seriously impact your schedule.
I continue to buy these tubes by Michelin because they have smooth valve stems which are harder to find. I will never use a tube that has a threaded valve stem. Not only are the threads not needed but they act as a file and tear up the o-rings on my pump.
It helps that these are quality tubes that hold air well. I am happy with them because the smooth stems are a cleaner look and my pump is happy with them because the o-rings last forever now that the threads aren’t tearing them up.
I love that these tubes only have a few threads at the top, just enough to engage a pump that requires threads (there are not many). Your pump will last longer using these tubes–the threads on most tube valve stems tear up the pump gasket.
Not these. I have also found these tubes to be reliable and long lasting. Highly recommended.
I have just got this tube and it already has a puncture. I haven’t even ridden on it yet. I just fitted the tube the other day and had left it so I can ride tomorrow and I wake up to find it deflated with a hole near the valve.
This is a really hard fix so I recommend another tube.
Thought it was worth paying a bit extra for a good quality tube to go with my new Schwalbe tyre. Excellent fit – no need to stretch it onto the rim as with some inferior brands that are supposedly the right size.
Probably no more puncture resistant than any other tube (that’s the tyre’s job!) but I don’t think I’ll be having any problems due to manufacturing defects. That’s what it’s about – peace of mind!.
Your inner-tubes are one of the most critical components on your bike. Bontrager’s are premium quality, standard weight tubes that keep you rolling. Get one more than you think you’ll need–you can always use a spare.

They are inner tubes for road bike tires, so there isn’t a hole lot to them. But they are a great value and exactly what I needed. All the tubes I had where covered in patches and getting pretty old, so buying in bulk is a nice way to clean out the old and replace them with new, without having to spend a lot.
They do come in bulk packaging without being individually wrapped/boxed, which isn’t a problem for me but maybe for others.
These tube are very reliable never had seam leakage or deformity. I seen to have less punctures since using them and I’m riding the same routes. That’s not to say that these tubes are puncture resistant but because their wall thickness is pretty uniform through out the entire tube there are less weak spots in the tube.

We’ve used “Stop a Flat” tires on our jogger stroller and have been SO happy with them. I ordered a different set on Amazon for my daughter’s bike because we live in a place where there are prickly “goat heads” everywhere that constantly pop our bike tubes.
The manufacturer recommended getting size 20″x1. 75″ for a bike that has tires that are 20×1. 95. We did this and they were way too small and they made the bike tires feel like they were flat while riding.
I decided to try the 20×2. 125 ones and they seem to work the very best for her tire size. They’re very difficult to put on when they’re a tight fit like these are, but they’re working great so far. The only downside to tubes like this on a bike is that the shock absorption going over bumps is not as good as with regular tubes.
but that’s just the way it is if you want tubes that never pop. Also, they’re pretty pricey. but if you’re replacing tubes all the time, then they’re probably worth it. Overall, I’m really happy to have found some that will work on her bike.
I may be returning for some for my son’s bike once his tubes pop.

Revolutionary one piece inner tube allows you to easily change an inner with very little effort. Simply replace your damage inner tube with this Quick change inner tube. Pry the tire edge from the rim of the bike, locate the damage inner tube and remove it with a pair of scissors.
Once damaged inner tube has been removed then take the new quick change inner and inflate it a little with air. Once inflated with 10% air then guide this along the inner wheel and interior of the tire.
Once the inner tube has been guided around the entire wheel then replace the tire edge back onto the interior of the rim. When tire is securely back onto the interior of the rim than pump the inner to the specific require PSI located on the exterior of the tire wall.
You can easily replace your damages inner tube without the mess of removing the wheels from the bike. Easy to install with the following steps – 1. Deflate the tire. Remove any puncturing objects. 2.
Work one side of the tire off the rim. Remove old tube. 3. Before installing, slightly inflate new tube to give it shape. 4. Insert tube valve through rim hole. Gently push the tube into place inside the tire.
5. Work tire back onto rim being careful not to pinch the tube. Use of tire levers is recommended. 6. Ensure tire bead is consistently seated around both sides of tire. Inflate to proper PSI.
Bought to replace a busted tube in my daughter’s back bike. I already have 2 tools used to remove the tire. This went in very easily. I did add a little air before I inserted it which helped get it inside the tire.
But it inserted easily, and I was on my way. MUCH easier than taking the whole tire off. The whole process took me about 10 minutes.
I bought this since I couldn’t find an inner tube anywhere else. One of the best products I’ve purchased in a long time. Saved a lot of time not having to take the wheels off of 2 bikes. Completely satisfied.
I bought two of these to replace the tubes in my tires. I was thrilled with how easy it was to install. However, after two rides (4 miles and 13 miles) one of the tubes popped on the ride home (not while riding the bike but while the bike was in my car).
Specialized uses a molded construction method when creating their tubes for a uniform profile that ensures consistency and a smooth ride. This tube fits standard 26 inch wheels and tires and comes with a 40 mm stem.

Shorter valve inner tubes are ideal for wheels with rim depths of 24mm or 30mm but are not ideal for wheels with rim depths of 40mm or above (as the shorter valve would not extend out of the rim valve hole).
Presta valve tubes are most commonly used for road wheels (700c) and on a few MTB wheels as the valves are thin, whereas Schrader valves are more commanly found on MTB wheels as valve is larger and won’t fit through 700c rim valve holes.
Excellent value for money. not too heavy for the weekend warriors and robust enough for the everyday trainer. Sensible valve stem length – not too long which is becoming more of the norm these days. Buy these tubes with confidence and the price is right.
This road tubes are great for Carbon Clincher Wheelsets because with an extension valve you resolve the problem of the length no matter if its 38mm, 56mm or 88mm rim, the only bad thing is that someday you’ll puncture and will have to change it, but that’s for all tubes, highly recommended.
There are a few things to keep in mind when selecting an inner tube for a road bike. First, consider the width of your tires. Inner tubes come in a range of sizes, so you’ll want to make sure you get one that’s the right fit.
Second, think about the type of valve you need. Some valves are Presta, while others are Schrader. Make sure you get the right type of valve for your bike. Third, consider the thickness of the tube. Thicker tubes are more durable, but they can also be more difficult to install.
Finally, think about the material the tube is made from. Some tubes are made from latex, while others are made from butyl. latex tubes are typically lighter and have a lower rolling resistance, but they can also be more susceptible to punctures.
Butyl tubes are more durable and can better resist punctures, but they’re also heavier and have a higher rolling resistance.
