An iced coffee maker is a kitchen appliance that brews coffee and dispenses it over ice. It is similar to a standard coffee maker, but with a few key differences. An iced coffee maker typically has a larger water reservoir, as well as a setting for brewing coffee at a lower temperature.
This is because brewing coffee over ice can cause it to become diluted.
Iced coffee makers are becoming increasingly popular, as they offer a convenient way to make iced coffee at home. Many people enjoy iced coffee year-round, but it can be especially refreshing in the hot summer months.
Iced coffee makers can be found in a variety of sizes and styles, so there is sure to be one that fits your needs.
Like coffee? Taste the difference with our patented 1 Qt. The traditional hot coffee brewing process releases undesirable acids and oils, resulting in bitter flavor and acidity that is intolerable to many.
With cold brewing, only the naturally delicious coffee flavors are extracted, leaving behind the bitter oils and fatty acids, creating a perfectly balanced, smooth extraction of concentrated coffee. Once brewed, concentrated coffee can be kept fresh in our airtight Cold Brew Coffee Maker for up to 2 weeks and used for both hot and iced coffees.
Nice design but without instructions telling me to screw the basket to the lid I didn’t. Forced to drink cold brew, missing Italy, it has been a learning experience. But I am glad I took the time to have a great cuppa.
I use Good & Gather decaf, 3/4 cup grounds and use distilled water and a good time, at least overnight. So good I do not use cream/sugar/flavorings or anything. Now I do not miss the 1 serving plastic K cups, the loss of counter space, but have the addition of good grounds for the plants.
Smooth and without the acid very enjoyable. It took a couple of tries and coffees to get it to my taste just but another coffee adventure in my life. Going for the second purchase for one for caffeine.
I bought this item in June. But I never used it because I had a smaller one. But I did open and start to use this new 64oz Takeya Cold Brew Pitcher in Nov of 2020. The use of this product immediately started off by my fresh cold brew coffee having grounds in it.
I own the 32oz version and am well aware on how they work and how to make sure not to get grounds in the coffee. The filter for this new one must not have a good seal, because after 2 uses, both times had a lot of grounds.
So I contacted BBB and asked them to step in. But instead of helping me, they acted like robots, reciting their return policy. I said I just wished to have an item that worked. I was told that I should use a product right away to make sure its not defective.
The only help BBB offered was a suggestion of when I should use products I bought from them. In my opinion, Bed Bath and Beyond failed me, and will fail everyone. They have no interest in getting involved in the warranty process of the products they sell.
I contacted Takeya, the manufacturer, and they said they’d help since BBB would not. But they did point out that BBB is supposed to handle warranty for their products. So bottom line for me is, I am no longer supporting Bed Bath and Beyond since they failed to support me when I needed help with something I bought from them.
Let me preface by saying that I love Takeyas products. I have a ton of their water bottles and optional lids and they are all great. But this one suffers from a couple of design issues. First of all, it’s a terrible mess to fill the basket unless maybe you have a funnel.
It’s just too hard to pour freshly ground coffee into that small opening. Two, the basket is not big enough to hold enough coffee for a true cold brew. It says to put I could only get about 150 grams of coffee in the basket.
For a true cold brew concentrate, you need around 240 grams for 2 quarts. Third, you can’t really get good immersion all the way to the top with this design. I did learn from another review that he saw in some directions that you need to brew on its side, which makes sense.
But I didn’t know that at first. But still, not enough coffee in the basket to begin with. I’ll probably still use the pitcher for steeping tea or cold brew storage. It is well build and works the way it is supposed to, as far as function.
It just doesn’t work as a cold brew maker. I ordered a Filtron for That purpose. Takeya is a great company though. I like their core products very much!.

Reviews From Real Customers
Unlike other iced tea makers where the pitcher needs to fit in a special way, you can use any pitcher that will fit underneath; this was the main attraction as the Mr. Coffee pitchers kept cracking and it was getting expensive to keep replacing them…and the Mr.
Coffee iced tea makers were dying quarterly. I’ve had this iced tea maker for at least two years. —The top pops up while brewing (which I knew was an issue before buying) so I weigh it down with a trivet.
—The baskets may feel flimsy but they haven’t broken yet and they have no mechanical parts to stop working. —If the iced tea maker stops brewing with water in tank, it probably needs cleaning. My area has hard water, so I adapted Mr.
Coffee’s cleaning procedure to deal with that: —Fill the pitcher 1/3 up with cold water.
My daughter wanted this to make her own pitchers of iced coffee, as Starbucks had drained her finances! She has mastered making coffee in this that rivals her favorites at the chain retailers. The size of the pitcher is perfect and allows you to males as much as you want then refrigerate for later drinking enjoyment.
Glance on the site Pinterest for some great ice coffee recipes. We all enjoying our in house barista and all her iced concoctions. It’s an easy clean, the heating is not much so you don’t have to wait for cooling after brewing- and it doesn’t melt your ice immediately like a traditional Keurig or similar hot water coffee pot.
If iced coffee is your thing- just pick your favorite flavor. You won’t go wrong with this.
Make up to 14 servings Simply mix 2 oz of coffee concentrate with every 6 oz of your favorite milk, water or ice. This brewer makes up to 28 oz of coffee concentrate that stays fresh in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Initially, when I bought this brew maker, I loved it. the coffee was amazing and the spout a fantastic idea. I would just put it in the refrigerator after brewing and enjoyed my coffee every morning.
I like it so much I was considering buying another so I could cold brew while the other one was being cleaned. After about 1. 5 years of use, I noticed the taste had slightly changed, and the flow of the coffee was not coming out as quick.
I removed the spout to clean it, and to my utter disappointment the spout was corroding, rusting from the inside. I was in such disbelief I took a magnet to see if it would stick to the spout. sure enough it barely stuck, meaning the spout was NOT stainless steel, or at least of high enough grade stainless steel, for this type of food purpose (if the magnet had stuck on quick and strong, then there is more stainless steel.
in this case it was weak indicating a mix of different alloys). I phoned customer service, the person could not verify if it was stainless steel or not (the manual claims the spout is stainless steel), and I sent them pictures of the corrosion inside the spout.
The representative did send out another spout. to my dismay it was the same after I performed the magnet test. Kitchen Aid, you are renown for hight quality. This is not the case with the spout of the coffee maker.
Please, remake the spout properly with STAINLESS STEEL as your manual states. The corrosion of this spout leaching into the food is unacceptable. well for me it is anyway.
I bought the Kitchenaid cold brew after on-and-off trials of making a cold brew coffee that a friend used to make using a Tupperware container. Actually, it is hot coffee that she made that I always tried to mimic and always failed as whatever container I tried never held enough of either water or coffee— and there were no measurements to mimic her system.
Why hot coffee made from cold brew coffee rather than an electric coffeemaker? Because there is no acidic taste. It’s the smoothest cup of coffee you can drink!!!! And, not only are there specific measurements for making the cold brew coffee, there are also specific measurements for making a hot cup of smooth-tasting coffee from the cold brew! Thank you, Kitchenaid for adding the pour spout that makes everything easier.
It beats the random scoop that my old friend used to dip into her Tupperware container!.
With the summer months ahead of us this is truly a must have! Decided to purchase it after seeing how much we spend on iced coffee from Starbucks. And its performance proved to be money well spent! I am impressed how well made this is, glass jar part is thick heavy, same as the metal parts, which are solid and well finished.
You simply fill the mesh basket with coffee grounds, pour water in and place in the fridge for 12-24 hours. It will create a coffee concentrate (to be mixed with water in 2:3 ratio) which is incredibly smooth, no bitter taste at all, way better than the Nitro Cold Brew from Starbucks and so much cheaper! Oh and it can be kept in the fridge for upto 2 weeks! Although, it never lasts that long in our home.
The perfect at-home iced coffee using this iced coffee maker! Prepare, pour, and preserve your favorite coffee using the Cold Brew Coffee Maker that delivers naturally smooth and rich flavors without the undesirable acidity.
The description mentions that you can lay it down if you want to due to the seal in the lid, and it does. I was skeptical and hesitantly tried for the sake of experimentation, and nothing came out as promised.
You can use this feature to shake it up if you want to make sure all the coffee grinds get saturated with water before letting it sit or store it horizontally. The pieces are easy to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning and is generally easy to use.
Plus, it has a clean, modern look, so what’s not to love? I definitely would recommend at least trying it if you’re in the market for some homemade cold brew.
I have only used this once to make cold brew and luckily it made the process much easier! The size is perfect to store in the fridge and use for a whole week. The plastic is sturdy and the filter is really fine.
It has to be completely opened and closed at the top which I didn’t expect but kind of like – keeps the cold brew tightly sealed and fresh. I keep pouring it while closed but I will get used to it. There was a tiny bit of sediment at the bottom but nothing I couldn’t ignore and my last cup from the pitcher was still delicious and smooth!.
I ordered this direct from Takeya, they shipped fast and it got here quickly. I washed it out and started grinding beans to fill the filter. 16 scoops later I had the filter full with the suggested amount of beans.
I am used to making Americanos on my espresso machine. 2 scoops for the espresso vs. 16 for the Takeya, kind of freaked me out, but I decided to delay my opinion until later. I filled it with tap water, gave it a shake and placed it in the door of my refrigerator and waited 24 hours.
The next morning I found deep dark cold brewed coffee in the Takeya. I removed the filter, let it drip a few drops back into the coffee and put the lid back on. Pouring the first cup I filled my espresso shot with the cold brew and added it and hot water to my coffee cup.
Wow ! What a change ! The coffee was smooth and no bitterness. The body was less than from the espresso, but it was a nice change. What I liked best was the cold brew was not bitter ans seemed less acidic.
Clean up of the filter was easy. The majority of the grounds just fell out of the filter and the rest washed out under running water in a jiffy. Remember I was squawking about 16 scoops? Well those 16 scoops made 20 servings of coffee, where the espresso machine made 16.
The coffee stayed fresh for the week I had it in the refrigerator, with only the smallest amount of sediment in the last serving. All in all, I like the Takeya cold brew coffee maker quite a bit. I don’t see it replacing my espresso machine, as a great addition for when I want to get away from the harshness that the espresso machine gives me.

For me, this is a multi-purpose drink dispenser. I do not drink coffee at all, but I do drink all sorts of tea’s. The included metal mesh filter allows me to use any loose tea for healthy and tasty cold brew tea’s.
This is also perfect for making classic iced tea. The large one gallon capacity makes this the perfect companion for families, get together’s and parties. Over the years I have had several of these, and they all had issues from flimsy thin metal lids that didn’t seal and rusted, plastic spigots that leaked, thin glass that broke easily and so on.
This dispenser is really great quality. The glass is thick, the spigot is all metal and does not leak, the lid is metal and is seals. It also have a beautiful engraving. The metal mesh filter is great for coffee’s or tea’s.
It is very easy to clean and for a one gallon capacity, it seems smaller and fits nicely in my fridge. I am thrilled with this dispenser and very impressed with its quality. I think that after owning lots of cheap dispensers that were leaky, lids that rusted and glass that was sensitive.
This one is worth the price and it is a fantastic value for the quality. It gets 5 stars from me.
I am a huge iced coffee drinker and I got a little tired of brewing it one cup at a time and adding ice so I went for this. Let me tell you this is well worth the money and I would like to address a few issues people are mentioning: 1) Mine does NOT get clogged.
This is because i checked out the instructions and everything people were saying and you can NOT put fine ground coffee (like what you buy at the store) in this. You honestly can, but expect to see a few specs in the coffee.
What you should do is buy coarse ground coffee, or do what I did and buy a bean grinder (32 bucks) and grind the beans yourself at course and you will never have the problem. 2) It doesn’t really clog, but what you may need to do if it pours slow is just crack the lid to let some air in and the entire thing will pour just fine :).
I think people just don’t think to open the top a hair 3) If it is freezing cold, don’t try to clean it with HOT water until it is room temp or IT WILL BREAK because it is glass. this is science people.
4) Mine has not broken, not clogged, and has worked great. If anything the lever gets a little loose because I use it so much, but it isn’t anything a phillips head can’t fix. 5) When looking at the directions, it says to fill up to the 32 oz line, which doesn’t exist, just fill it up all the way.
Realize, when you have the filter in there, and it is full, when you take it out it will drop the line about 15%. Just buy it :).
Simplified bulk cold brew but the dripping is so annoying! I used to make cold brew by soaking coffee grounds in a jar of water, and then running it through a nut milk bag into a pitcher. It was pretty simple but emptying and cleaning the nut milk bag got old.
Also, I wanted to scale up the amount of coffee I could make. This carafe seemed like a good option. At first I tried it for coffee, and I wasn’t thrilled by the constant dripping and having to clean the grounds off the column.
So I switched to using it for water, and threw some ice or lemons in to the column instead. It’s great for water. Eventually I switched back to using it for coffee. It’s more efficient than using a nut milk bag, and you get used to cleaning out the column.
But the dripping drives me nuts. It would be perfect if it didn’t drip. I didn’t really appreciate that it’s only a gallon when I ordered it, for some reason it looked huge in the customer reviews and I was actually shocked by how small it was when it arrived.
I only hand wash the carafe and have had no issues with cracking. Don’t shock the glass, let it reach room temp before you place it in hot water. I use 2 cups of grounds and 14 cups of water.
Coffee Single Serve Latte Lux features convenient 4-in-1 functionality that makes it easy to brew your favorite coffeehouse drinks at home. Features a built-in frother and prepares hot coffee, lattes, cappuccinos and iced drinks.
My mother always used a Mr. Coffee 12 cup coffee maker when I was growing up. I bought my own in college that lasted almost until my senior year (through many sleepless study nights and pretty much constant use between my 3 roommates and myself).
I bought another Mr. Coffee maker when I moved out on my own that lasted me well into adulthood until my late 20s when I became a bit more sensitive to caffeine and decided a french press better suited my needs (because I’m the only one in our household that drinks coffee).
All this to say, I’m no stranger to this product line. I was very excited to try this latte lux machine out – it’s the first of it’s kind from the Mr. Coffee line that I’m aware of. Pros: Absolutely perfect for a single-person coffee drinking household.
My partner doesn’t drink coffee so it’s great for just me. Brew time is quick! I haven’t timed it exactly but it maybe takes a minute or two after you’ve filled the water reservoir and coffee filter for it to make you a cup.
Fits small-medium sized travel tumblers (I have a 16 oz hydroflask that fits perfectly underneath the coffee maker – see pic) I opted for the lux version because it had the buttons to automatically froth to your liking (latte, cappuccino, cold foam).
This is a great feature because I can make coffee in a travel tumbler and it’ll heat up/froth the milk at the same time. When it’s done, I can just pour the milk in and quickly make a latte/cappuccino to have on the go.
Personally, I think it makes everything to a great temperature. I have a sensitive baby mouth so I don’t like scalding hot drinks. The temperature is perfect for me – I can start drinking it immediately after it’s made and it’s just warm enough.
I love that the catch tray on the bottom is completely removable, as well as the latte maker and brew baskets. This makes it really easy to clean. Cons: The temperature this coffee maker makes the coffee/milk at may be too cold, depending on your preference.
I’m not a scalding hot coffee drinker but if that’s how you like your coffee, this will probably make it too cold for your liking. I can’t have a lot of dairy so I usually use almond milk which has been very hit/miss when it comes to making foamy lattes.
There seems to be inconsistencies with how much milk is added and how frothy the latte will get. I’ve used almond milk and ended up with a pretty sad latte (no froth, just a few bubbles + warm milk) but then done it again and the froth looks like something straight from a cafe (so frothy!) Not sure why that is.
I do enjoy the frothiness but haven’t quite figured out how to consistently make it everytime. That being said, the instruction manual of the machine does explicitly say almond milk isn’t the best medium for a frothy latte/cappuccino.
If you use regular milk, especially whole milk, or even oat milk, this probably won’t be an issue. I’m just a diehard almond milk drinker. I love that this doesn’t need any fancy/expensive cups (like keurig or nespresso) but it does use quite a bit of coffee for each brew.
It’s a harty scoop and ½ for just a small amount of coffee for a latte (more for a serving of iced coffee). I’ve been using this daily with Folgers (reg/decaf) and that’s honestly what I would recommend using with how much coffee grounds this machine needs, unless you want more of a treat or can afford to waste higher quality coffee.
I’ve included a pic of how many grounds were used for 4oz of coffee for a latte. Going back to my first pro, this machine is great if you’re the only one using it. It’s not really great for accommodating multiple people.
It’s definitely a single-serve drink maker. Overall I really like this product and think the price point is fair for what you get. I’ve really been enjoying my morning lattes with this and have even started doing decaf pumpkin pie lattes as an evening fall treat.
It’s not the fanciest thing on the market in terms of machines like this but for what it does for the price, this is perfect. I’m definitely considering getting my elderly mother one of these so she can make lattes at home (it’s so easy to use, I don’t think she’ll have any trouble figuring it out).
I would also highly recommend this as a new-grad gift (they’ll be able to enjoy regular coffee, iced coffee, and lattes/cappuccinos from this when they need a pick-me-up to study).
Pros: easy to use, easy to set up, multiple drink options, step by step drink instructions, easy to care for, makes amazing drinks Cons: none The Mr. Coffee Single-Serve Latte, Iced, and Hot Coffee Maker is really nice! This coffee maker is very easy to use, it works well, and I love that you can make so many different types of coffee drinks with it! The instructions for how to setup and use this machine are very straightforward and easy to understand.
The first step is to clean all of the removable components with warm soapy water. Then reassemble. Next, you are supposed to run plain water through the machine to clean it out, discard the water, and then it’s ready to brew in.
There are so many types of coffee drinks you can make with this machine. However, the controls are super simple. You can choose to hot brew or brew over ice. You first choose the drink type and the amount of water you want to use, add in the water, replace the mug, and then press the desired button.
It brews rapidly. During this time, you can also choose to make hot froth or cold foam. It is super easy to make both and there are indicator lines on the inside of the container to make it foolproof.
All of the drinks I’ve tried are amazing. It’s super easy to use this machine and the hot froth or cold foam just elevates the drinking experience, plus it’s really easy to just rinse the frothing jar out in between uses.
I also really like how compact this machine is and how nice it looks! All in all, this is a really nice coffee maker. It’s very easy to use, you can prepare multiple different types of beverages at different temperatures, the frother is super easy to use, and the machine looks nice! I would absolutely recommend it!.
The machine itself is fairly light weight design typical with Mr Coffee brand products. The cup for heating and frothing milk is extremely nice quality, well insulated, and rubber sides. Very nice. The iced coffee tumbler is also quite nice, thick plastic with a lid that does not leak and a solid straw.
The instructions warn you to hand wash as it is not diahwasher safe which is a drawback in my opinion. Even still, it makes a terrific cup of iced coffee, keeping the beverage cold a long time. There is a clever built-in coffee scoop integrated into the machine to accurately measure for either a large iced or smaller cup of coffee.
I like the innovation that went into that convenient feature! Unlike pod type machines, this single serve coffee maker requires the desired amount of water be added when brewing. There is no reservoir for brewing successive cups which is a little inconvenient.
The amount is regulated by how much water is added each time. It has a large reuseable filter basket and though it requires more grounds than a pod it brews very well resulting in a delicious cup of coffee.
The milk frother heats quickly and the little whip creates froth that rivals my local coffee shop. Easy to use, brews quickly, minimal dripping once complete, clean look.
Have you had dreams at night of waking up to the perfect cup of cold brew? Well Cuisinart has now made that dream into a reality with their Automatic Cold Brew Coffeemaker. Introducing a new way to making authentic cold brew coffee in only 25 mins! This new unique technology brings the ideal cold brew to you any time day or night.
The easy to use buttons allow you to have three choices of strength to choose from to personalize your special brew. The Automatic Cold Brew Coffeemaker uses cold water to saturate the coffee grounds, just like traditional methods but better with the new spin through technology.
The clear brewing chamber allows you to see the spin through technology which allows the full smooth sweet flavor of the coffee to come out as the coffee circulates through the basket. The 7-cup glass carafe can also be used to store the coffee in the refrigerator for two weeks.
Rest assure this machine will be a bonus to your routine. Its quick clean up and removable dishwasher safe parts are guaranteed to make life simpler while you sit back and enjoy.
My friend gave me this cold brew maker because she didn’t find herself using it very much. I however, use it multiple times a week and I love it. Traditionally, most cold brew coffee has to be brewed for 24 hours.
This makes it in 30-37 minutes depending on the strength you want it. The one complaint my friend had was that she thought even the Bold setting didn’t make coffee that was strong enough for her. I don’t like my coffee super strong, so it’s worked great for me.
It’s a bit of a pain to clean, but if you keep on top of it then it’s pretty good. One thing I learned is that it’s really important to soak the coffee basket in hot soapy water once a month to clean it properly.
If you don’t, oil buildup can cause the water not to filter through properly. If you have a dishwasher, this won’t be an issue as you can throw the basket in there and it’s hot enough to clean it thoroughly.
I don’t have a dishwasher and used to, so that’s probably why I find it a pain to clean now.
Cold brew should be clear and rich looking. Sludge on the bottom means fine coffee grounds are in the brew and can make the coffee taste bitter. I used this machine twice – the first time I used regular grind coffee at 45 minutes which should have made a bold brew.
What came out was mud. Even after pouring the coffee through a cloth and then a paper filter and waiting two hours, the coffee still looks like mud. The second time I used coarse grounds at 45 minutes and the coffee came out cloudy and weak.
This brewer uses a spinning system where the basket with the coffee grinds are spun in the water for a pre-determined time (30-45 minutes) and then drained into the carafe. That explains the sludge I also have a Dash Cold Brew Machine and use regular ground coffee, it takes 10-15 minutes, and the coffee comes out clear and rich tasting with no sludge in the brew.
For a very nice cold brew I would highly recommend the Dash cold brew maker – it’s cheaper, faster, and makes a better coffee.
The coffee is OK. The brewer is quick and efficient, but has two big flaws; 1) the brew basket is very fragile and there is NO replacement part available from Cuisinart; 2) the spin-brew process creates a lot of fine grounds that fall to the bottom of the carafe to form “sludge”.
I had to purchase a separate paper filter to clarify the coffee and eventually returned the brewer for credit. Suggest you look at other options.
This was a splurge birthday gift for my husband (and, let’s be honest, for me) for mornings in the Chicago summer when it’s too muggy even to contemplate hot coffee. We’ve used it for a week so far with mixed results, but we’re hopeful that as we get more familiar with the infusion process, we’ll have better luck.
We’ve found that the coffee needs to sit for an hour or so after we start the infusion process (adding the nitrogen) in order to get that smooth texture. A couple of times, the seal simply hasn’t worked, the carafe hasn’t maintained pressure, and we just get ordinary cold coffee.
So this isn’t a home run yet, but we’re hoping that we’ll get more consistent results with practice.
For over a year since retiring, I made a trip to my wife’s favorite coffee shop 6-7 days a week to get her a nitro cold brew with cinnamon almond milk foam. At $6 cup, it was quite expensive and inconvenient for me.
Rather than complain (I know better lol), I bought this for her for Christmas. Now, I make a pot of cold brew once/week at a fraction of the cost. She loves the convenience and is experimenting with different coffee beans and flavors.
I could not be more happy with this cold brew maker. I got it for my husband for Christmas. He loves it! It was a little expensive BUT so worth it. It looks sooo sleek and classy. I will say to order extra filter bags and gas.
The supplies (filter bags) that came with it only lasted us a week.
Asobu Coldbrew Portable Cold Brew Coffee Maker 34oz is first of its kind. True to its name Asobu has taken cold brew makers to the next level. Cold brew on the go; a portable and vacuum insulated way to brew coffee.
Asobu portable 2 in one cold brewer is the only brewer that doesnt need to be refrigerator at all making it the most convenient option in the market. The brewing carafe is constructed from 100% Bpa free non-breakable Tritan with a reusable and easy to clean 18/8 rust-free superfine stainless steel mesh to give the purest smoothest coffee brew.
We received the cold brew system as a gift with the copper-colored carafe. I’m not really a “coffee drinker” as most people would describe themselves, and heard that cold brewing is less bitter (I now agree!).
So, I thought I’d give this a try after reading reviews, suggestions, and instructions. This brewer is super simple to use!I purchased Stone Street brand cold brew coffee. (Use only coarse-ground coffee for cold brew.
)I’ve kind of uncomplicated my process as follows:•Take clear, plastic top portion and place cone-shaped filter inside. •Pour a little less than 1/4 C. coffee into filter. DO NOT PRESS ON PUSH BUTTON RELEASE VALVE ON THE BLACK “GRIP BAND”! (This button is my ONLY huge issue I have with this brewer as it is VERY sensitive and easy to release the fluid out the bottom.
If you’re not ready, you’ll have to clean the floor regularly. Just hold the clear plastic section – not the black grip band. ) •I take to my fridge and slowly let water on door fill up the carafe almost to the top.
This could also be done by just using a pitcher. •Stir the grounds slowly to completely saturate and let them settle a few seconds. •Screw on lid, and make sure the air hole tab on top is closed (my lid has a rubber orange one – it doesn’t say which way is open, which it should…,but mine is closed when on left side).
(I don’t attach the brewer to the carafe since I don’t use it. Plus, it makes the entire apparatus too tall in fridge and is not necessary while brewing. ) •Once I let it sit for about 18-24 hours, I remove it from fridge (without squeezing the push button valve!!!), place over a cup – or the carafe if using, open the air flow valve on lid, FINALLY squeeze the release valve, and fill cup as much as I want.
It opens/closes immediately. •Remove the filter, dump grounds in trash (unless using in garden), and store remaining brewed coffee in carafe or another cup. •Clean all components with warm, soapy water, and start the whole process over for the next day.
I love this kitchen gadget. It makes cold brew coffee in 12-24 hours or hot coffee in 3-4 minutes. The best part is it drips into a copper insulated container and you can just take it the way it is with condiments on the side or just add your cream or sugar and go.
If you love Iced coffee this is definitely for you. I haven’t tried the hot coffee yet since I have a single brew coffee maker but it’s good to know you can make more in this and it’ll stay hot.
I was skeptical that this would work as well as described. Upon moving to Texas and wanting Cold Brew more regularly, this seemed like a great option. I have had several pitcher type Cold brew systems but they were clumsy.
This has a steel basket that holds the coarsely ground coffee and allows for you to pour over the grounds and the water sits in the upper container. I put mine in the fridge and find that a stirring of the grounds once after using can be helpful.
In 12 hours I have great bold, rich cold brew and with one 10 second push of the button it feeds into the carafe. Clean up is simple. As mentioned the carafe is chubby so it is not super easy to carry but is secure and stays nicely overnight so you can enjoy it the following day.
If you like cold brew, buy this. Great price, durable and so easy to use.

Awful product. Looks easy, worked well then I went to plunge it. Had coffee grinds everywhere. Had to try to pour it through the mesh to get more out. Hard to clean without grinds and water everywhere.
I tried 4 different times, making sure I followed the instructions exactly, had same result. Very acidic tasting not smooth at all. Would’ve returned it if I could but I got on Amazon and it was outside the time frame.
Makes an amazing 8 litres of cold brew concentrate from 2. 3kg of coffee. Comes with a lift that holds the coffee above the spigot tap. Filter papers sold separately. Best combined with the Toddy Acrylic Decanters to allow you to store coffee after brewing for up to 2 weeks in the fridge.
I purchased one of these for my partner a while back and before long it became our main caffeine source. Any time we need to get a gift for someone we order one of these to rave review! I strongly recommend this if you love cold brew or need gift that will leave a lasting impression.
(Also, I person recommend using a dark roast but that’s just me).

Reviews From Real Customers
This makes good coffee. Some thoughts: I wish there were more clear directions on how much coffee grounds to place inside. After some trial-and-error, I figured it out on my own. My recommendation is to use more coarsely ground coffee, grounds that won’t turn to mud and go through the metal filter this product features.
Also, the rubber gasket on the plunger gets kinda stuck sometimes and it lets the coffee grounds through, but I found that if I run the rubber under some water before plunging, it seals almost perfectly to the inside of the coffee maker.
Be sure not to fill the coffee maker up too full, otherwise you will have a difficult time getting the plunger aligned, and coffee grounds will escape and be in your cup. So, if you use my pro tips, I think you will really enjoy this product! It makes excellent cold brew and I’m not dissatisfied – it just takes a little experimenting.
This thing is absolutely amazing! I’ve been making cold brew on and off for a few years now but always gave up because the straining process was such a hassle. I saw this and thought I would give it a shot.
I used Cafe Bustelo (2 cups) and was worried it would filter the tiny grind, but it did! I strained it through a coffee filter into a container and very little coffee grounds made it into the coffee.
I easily cleaned this pitcher out in a few minutes and poured the filtered coffee back into it to store in the fridge. I used the straining lid so I could easily pour the cold brew and it works perfectly.
I might get a 2nd one as a backup in case the 1st one breaks (which I don’t think it will. It’s pretty sturdy). Awesome price too!.
My Keurig Elite died, so I wanted to replace it – I love coffee over ice the most. I spent so much time debating between three different Keurig models (all priced over $100), only to find they didn’t have any in stock that I wanted.
I saw this little cold brew French press for $12 and though “meh. this will get me through until I find a Keurig. ” I made my first batch last night and poured a cup this morning. Let me tell you, this little French press is LIFE CHANGING! This cold brew is SO rich and smooth, it completely blows away any other iced/cold brew I’ve ever tasted (my beloved Starbucks included!).
I honestly don’t think I’ll be spending all that money on an unnecessary Keurig again! From what I have read is you can brew the coffee cold in this little French press and warm up your coffee in your cup if you want it hot so I won’t even bother getting a second metal French press for hot coffee.
Highly recommend!! I brewed about 15 Tbsp coffee with 5. 5 cups of water.
The Oxo Good Grips Cold Brew Coffee Maker helps you make smooth, low acidity cold brewed coffee drinks. The set includes a Rainmaker diffuser, brew tank, an ultra fine stainless steel filter (plus some paper filters that are optional), tank stand with Brew release switch and a borosilicate glass carafe with airtight stopper.
Just add coffee and water to make a batch of cold brewed coffee concentrate that will stay fresh for up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator. The finished concentrate can be used to make hot or cold coffee drinks.
This brewer works great for cold brewed teas as well. Measures 9. 5″ l x 9. 5″ w x 14. 7″ h.
This coffee maker is great. I decided to try it because it was affordable and the reviews seemed decent. It turns out it is better than I thought possible. Easy to use, easy to clean and saves you so much money.
All you do is add coffee grounds to the top portion, then add cold water, let it sit overnight. In the morn, push down a lever, and the cold brew coffee pours into the included caraf. It’s super concentrated, so for every 1 ounce of coffee, you add 2-3 ounces of water.
I add 2oz of water for every 1 oz of coffee, add in my flavoring, and then half and half and drink iced. it’s so good. One batch could last the average person 1 week. It lasts me about 4 days. I love it!.
I love love love this. It’s so practical and efficient. The addition of the optional paper filter almost zeroes out the pesky residue that can periodically pass through the mesh filter. I found out the max capacity this contraption can hold.
And divided it into 2. Coarse grind coffee + water through the rainmaker top. Grind a bit more beans, then repeat the process and stick in the fridge for a day. What has worked better for me is to actually not stir it since it can over extract the coffee bean producing bitter flavors.
I love how simple the process of cold brew has become for me. Even a complete beginner in coffee can appreciate cold brew with this device. What’s best is that because it’s a 2:1 water to coffee ratio I have coffee for at least 3 days.
I have had this cold brew coffee maker for over 2 years and I LOVE IT! I see other people complaining about it getting clogged or leaking but we followed the directions and have not had one ounce of problems with it.
We yield 36 ounces of concentrate from each batch and when you dilute it, it makes one tasty cup of cold brew. We use it to maker our own versions of Starbucks Sweet vanilla cream cold brew and we actually like it more then Starbucks version.
We buy our coffe from amazon and use pre- ground (Coarse) coffee. We love it. I would highly recommend this coffee maker for anyone looking to make exceptional coffee at home. Just follow the directions and you are golden.

Brew a single cup with the stand in place or remove it to brew up to 16 oz. in a travel mug.
Well the great thing about this coffee maker is the reusable filter which allows you to use any coffee grounds you like without the need for filters or K-Cups. So that saves you money! For construction quality I give it a 5/10 because it feels plastic-y and somewhat cheap.
Even the way the parts go together doesn’t seem too up to date but it does the job and really is not a hassle. I love the Cold Brew feature because I drink a lot of iced coffee. You have to fill the water pretty much for each brew depending on the amt you want 6 oz, 8 oz or 16 oz.
Value I give it a 5/10 because it’s a 2 trick pony and that is the reusable filter feature and cold brew feature. Just with the quality felt better but I still give it an overall 4/5 because it does what I wanted it to and so far does it well.
I received the Hamilton Beach Convenient Craft Rapid Brew and Hot Coffee Maker for free in exchange for my honest opinion. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try this product because I love coffee and I love cold brew.
Cold brew coffee is less acidic and smoother tasting than a regular brew, but it takes about 12 hours to make at home. The Hamilton Beach Rapid Cold Brew Coffee Maker can make cold brew in just under 5 minutes.
I was so impressed with the quality of the cold brew; this machine is amazing! I used the same coffee I always use, and with this machine, using the cold brew option, it was so good! I did find I had to play around a bit with the amount of coffee to use and I had to make sure I pressed the coffee into the filter and tap it down, otherwise the grounds escaped the filter.
With that being said, I found the hot coffee option less than optimal. The brew was very fast, but at the expense of the taste of the coffee. I would highly recommend this brewer to anyone looking to make cold brew at home.
It is so fast and easy for an exceptional cup of cold brew!.
Wow! I am so impressed with this coffee maker. If you’re looking for a great cold brew maker then this is it! I didn’t know what I was missing before. I love having this single-serve machine that doesn’t require anything special – just coffee grounds! No more wasting a large pot of coffee either.
It’s perfect for my household of 2. And you can choose whether you want it hot or cold! I’ve tried to make cold brew before and this is by far the best option I have tried. The taste is stellar and the coffee comes out nice and cool, especially if you put cold water in it.
I was expecting it to be warm/hot like other ones I’ve tried and then get too watery after adding ice but that’s not the case at all! The flavor is nice and strong. I use 4 TB of grounds and 16oz of cold water and it’s just right.
I add a little sweetener and cream and voila! Perfect iced coffee. I won’t spend be wasting my money elsewhere buying cold brew ever again! The only con I can think of is that it’s a little slow so I have to plan ahead for my rushed mornings and make sure the maker is clean and ready to go.

Started leaking on the second brew. By the fourth brew I could not get the mechanism for the dispenser off without using pliers due to it had started to cross thread because it is only made of plastic and is not designed to be removed frequently, despite needing to do this after every second brew.
I ended up destroying the rubber tube (it would not pull off the bottom drain) because of having to use pliers to get the mechanism apart. Seems that there are no spare parts to purchase so this is a very expensive piece of garbage.
So much for saving money on fancy cold coffee drinks.
I love coffee and enjoy trying new kinds I first tried Cold Brew Coffee last year and fell in love with it! To me, it tastes like what Coffee should taste like. The longer cold brewing process allows the coffee to really get into the water and create an authentic, and rich cup of coffee.
If you prefer your coffee hot, just pop some of the cold brew into your tea kettle and let it heat up. That is what I do most of the time in the morning. I have an electric glass teapot and use to mainly to heat my cold brewed coffee.
The Kitchen Aid Cold Brew Coffee Maker that I chose makes 38 oz. of cold brewed coffee concentrate but also does more than just make coffee. You can brew tea, make flavored coffees, infuse water with fruits and herbs, and more! The Kitchen Aid Cold Brew Coffee Maker is made of Brushed Stainless Steel and Glass.
It looks very pretty sitting on your counter. It also fits nicely in your refrigerator.

Let it brew for 12-24 hours, then place the brewer on the glass carafe to automatically drain. To serve, add milk, water or ice. Brews smooth, low-acid coffee concentrate for hot or iced coffee. 24-oz.
brewing container makes enough concentrate for 7 coffee drinks. Compact size is ideal for brewing on counter or in refrigerator. Rainmaker top evenly distributes water for optimal flavor extraction. Lid keeps coffee protected during brewing.
Draining starts automatically when brewer is placed on carafe. Borosilicate glass carafe has cork stopper with silicone seal to keep coffee concentrate fresh.
I love coffee, in all it’s glorious forms. Cold brew, drip, iced, gas station, church, lukewarm with milk skin, whatever, I love coffee. I have purchased several coffee contraptions in my time and I have found the simpler the better.
This nifty gadget is just that, simple, and gets the job done well. The concept is not that novel, steep coffee in the refridgerator and filter into a carafe, but this device does help simplify the filtration of the finished product.
And it’s kinda fun watching it stream into the little carafe. Yes, it takes a lot of ground coffee to create cold brew. It’s also, generally speaking, a more concentrated form of coffee. I am able to make two full 24 oz cups, with ice, of cold brew coffee with the initial 24 oz of water used to steep the grounds.
Plus, as an added bonus, lots of spent grounds for the garden. Is this a life-changing device that will alter your outlook on coffee, no, probably not. But it does save me $6 each time I don’t drive-thru for cold brew.
I was really excited to receive this product as I thought it would change the way I drink coffee. The first time I used it, it came out of the box already assembled. I didn’t take it apart, but I did wash it before using.
I read the instructions booklet as well as watched video tutorials on how it’s supposed to be done. The first time, it was a success. I let it step for about 24 hours and then had it slow drip into the glass beaker thing.
I disassembled the pieces and cleaned them by hand. A few days later I reassembled them, I confirmed with the instructions that the two lines are supposed to align when you assemble it back together.
I made sure they aligned perfectly, even though it still felt a tad bit loose. It seemed like it could have been screwed a bit more on, but I thought the instructions knew best. I filled up the base with the coarse coffee grounds and set it in my fridge to steep.
I opened my fridge a few hours later and found that coffee water had been leaking out of the device ever since I set it in there and there was pools of coffee water all over my fridge. I had set the product on the top shelf so it dripped down onto everything in the fridge so not only did I have to wash all the food in my fridge, I had to figure out how to remove all the shelves so I could wash those clean too.
It was a nightmare. And yet, the coffee I was able to still salvage was pretty good, so I thought I would try this again. This time, I was skeptical. I put the product in a large bowl so if it did leak, it would be caught in the bowl.
I carefully assembled all the pieces together again, making sure I placed the filter in just right and that the lines lined up. And sure enough, it leaked. Luckily though, this time the mess was contained inside of the bowl.
I’ve tried the process again a few times after that, at times screwing it a just a tad bit tighter even though the lines didn’t match up, thinking that would be my problem. No such luck, it has leaked every single time.
While it does make delicious coffee, this doesn’t seem worth it to me.
When I saw the OXO compact cold brew coffee maker for the first time, I literally gasped out loud. For someone who likes “low-maintenance” gadgets but enjoys the ritualistic coffee experience in the morning, this one is perfect! I especially love the sleek shape of the glass bottle and the cork topper that is silicone sealed.
The auto-drip function is fun to watch, efficient, and makes cleaning a breeze. I used to use a single-serve air press coffee maker because I’m the only coffee drinker in my household, but having to make a single cup every time was becoming a hassle.
The size of this cold brew coffee maker is perfect, and I get to have seconds (and thirds) already made in concentrate form! I honestly haven’t been able to use any other coffee maker since getting it.
And the coffee concentrate is so addictingly smooth and delicious.

We purchased this new K Elite when our 2. 0 began to show signs of nearing the end of its long and illustrious life. We were heartbroken, and worried about finding a suitable replacement that could stand the test of time, especially after reading many negative reviews about the new machines.
Ever optimistic, we bit the bullet and placed the order through the Keurig website and waited patiently for it to arrive. We figured that in the new Covid world, we wouldn’t see it for at least a week, maybe two.
To our surprise, it arrived three days later in a pristine box via UPS. Impressive, especially since we had opted for the ‘free’ shipping. We solemnly unpacked it and bid a fond farewell to our tired old workhorse that had served two coffeeholics well for over 10 years.
To our surprise, it was very nice, with clean lines, a few more features than our previous one, and a beautiful brushed gold color that matches our kitchen well, and is much more appealing than the standard black or grey, that has been the industry standard since the 50s.
The directions are clear, have pictures to accompany the words. They are written in large print which is great for us older folks. We certainly appreciate it, we need all the help we can get. Setup was a breeze, and the coffee tastes fantastic.
We did the cleaning run, by running a cup of hot water like the directions said do. We also used the little filter that came with it. You can setup a power saver mode, and it will turn on and off at a time you pre-set.
It has a setting for iced cold coffee that have yet to try. It has worked flawlessly so far, and we are enjoying it. We do miss the lighted reservoir, and the touch screen that old faithful had. We recommend this and give it 5 stars ⭐️.
We are hopeful it will last us as long as the other did. Cheers!.
I have learned with Keurigs, as this is my third, that they may not last a long time. I reserve my best rating for n item I know to be long lasting. This Elite seems like a nice machine which I bought to replace my Keurig K40 that stopped working properly after a few years despite repeatedly descaling it.
This Elite is a little smaller than my older K40 machine, which I like, and has more water in the reservoir. It has more choices of cup sizes, and an iced coffee and a hot water setting. The water tank I find very hard to put in filled with water , it spills all over as I try to hook it in the slot, so I am filling it with a pitcher instead.
For the older machine it was very easy to get the full water container in. I am glad that my refillable k-cups fit very well, since I do not buy the environmentally unfriendly impossible- to- hard- to recycle K-cups any more.
In fact, had I thought I could not use the refillable cups I would not have bought the Elite. While the temperature can be set to 192 degrees, this is not hot enough for me after I add some creamer so I heat my cup in the microwave for 30 seconds, just as I did with the older K40.
Overall this is an attractive machine with a bigger water capacity and more cup sizes. As some have said it does produce some noise the whole time the water is heating and it is filling the cup, but I do not find the sound excessive.
I am hoping to get many years from this Keurig Elite. I hate that appliances in general of all sizes are no longer made to last for many years, it is very bad for the environment to throw these things in the landfill.
We bought this December 2020 after our old machine broke on Christmas Eve. After almost a year of owning this, I can honestly say I would NEVER recommend this machine. The “refill water” light does not work.
We frequently have to throw out a half cup of coffee because there was not enough water in the reservoir to make a full cup. We have to remember to check the reservoir every time we make a cup to be sure there is enough water.
I cannot even tell you how many cups we have wasted until we started checking every time. On top of the “refill” light not working, in almost a year of owning this machine, it has not told us to descale the brewer even one time.
Not once. It took me several months to realize that I should have needed to do so. After the second time of realizing it had been far too long since I had descaled, I now have to try to remember to do it on my own every couple of weeks.
Both my husband and I work from home, so we are making anywhere from 4 to 6 cups of coffee a day. I know the machine should have notified us it needed cleaning several times in the past year! All in all, our need to constantly check water and time since the last cleaning to ensure the machine is working correctly makes this product a no go for me.
Our last Keurig lasted us several years. There is no way this one is going to last that long.
It gives you rich, delicious iced coffee that’s 65% less acidic than hot brewed coffee. It makes 16 cups of iced coffee that lasts up to 14 days when stored in the refrigerator. BPA free and dishwasher safe, it features a unique flavor mixer or chill core and carafe that fits in your refrigerator door.
Easy to use iced coffee system. Brews full bodied iced coffee that is 65 percent less acidic than hot brewed coffee. Dimensions: 7. 5″ x 4. 3″ x 11. 7″.
Got this as a gift and I don’t like how the metal filter leaks out many of my coarsely ground coffee. It makes the cold brew extremely cloudy and oftentimes it makes the coffee experience sad. While I do enjoy the glass bottle and the cover at the bottom, it doesn’t make this a good cold brewer at all.
I would likely keep using my Takeya cold brew maker and use this as a fancy glass jar in the fridge due to its large capacity. Other reviewers mentioned it could be a tea maker but I personally tend to not like the metal reacting with my tea leaves.
Perhaps infused water might be a better use with this maker. Pros: + Made with glass. It’s sturdy and it has a nice non-slip base that helps the tall bottom to stay flat prevent it from scattering. + Can also make tea and infused water + Large capacity Cons: – Metal mesh filter does not filter coarsely ground coffee – The design of the mixer does not support being heavily used.
The middle part is plastic and the motion of intense string could possibly damage the middle rod, which defeats the purpose of it being a “mixer”. However, just use it delicately and you would be fine.
– The bottle does not fit my fridge door space very well, it is very tall and has a wide base. I had to put it on the highest level in the fridge to make it work but it is not ideal. Keep in mind that if your fridge is small, this might not work at all.
As I received it as a gift, I would be keeping it as a glass jar for the fridge instead of a cold brew maker. Would not recommend this if you want a cold brew maker. If you are in need of a cold brew maker, I would suggest Takeya instead as their filter and product design is much better.
First, carafe broken so back for new. Then, too tall/awkward (side handle, slender & tall vs shorter w wider base for stability, thin glass) for fridge door. So, dead center on only shelf tall enough, begging to be hit/shattered.
Making brew is frustrating: add water then grounds, grounds float up & over filter into water. Similar problem grounds first because I use water from the fridge dispenser and need to tilt carafe to fill.
I can make it work but it doesn’t yield a lot of concentrate because even half filling the carafe risks grounds in the concentrate. Pros: very cheap, cost-effective and easy to clean. The removable cap at the bottom of the filter unit was very smart.
But it needs a wider base for stability and additional water for brewing, plus a cap on the top of the filter to enclose the grounds.
Take your Rumble Jar on the road with Rumble Go Cold Brew Coffee Maker. This unique portable cold brew filter fits a variety of wide-mouth travel bottles, takes less than a minute of prep time, and uses the Rumble technique of infusion for perfect cold brew.
Whether youre preparing to travel the world or a weekend hiking trip, the Rumble Go is ready to go right along with you. Now you can enjoy your cold brew coffee on the trail, at the beach, or anywhere in between.
Simple to use, all it takes is your preferred coarse ground coffee, water, and your own travel bottle. The stainless steel filter has three engraved markings to help guide you to the right amount of grounds so you dont need a measuring tool.
Made with 18/8 stainless steel, the filter itself has holes that are 200 microns in size. Reinforced with stainless steel columns, this filter is dent-resistant and durable over the long haul. Another unique feature is the silt pan on the bottom of the filter.
This hole-free dish collects silt from the coffee grounds and prevents some of it from draining into your cold brew. The filter cap and base are made from BPA-free, FDA-approved food grade silicone. These work together to secure grounds inside the filter and are designed to nest fully inside your bottle.
It wont interfere with your bottles own airtight seal. The Rumble Go Cold Brew Coffee Maker has a uniquely designed base with 11 different height adjustments which allow the filter to be extended up to 1.
5 inches so its compatible with a variety of wide-mouth travel bottles.
Really liked the idea of this, but it’s not quite hitting the 5 star mark. The item came dented (poor packaging). Some areas I as a consumer recommend for improvement are Design (rubber lid and base are difficult to remove, esp when hands are wet, which of course is most the time), better filter (grinds are getting through, and it’s quite sludgy, even with coursely ground coffee) and to provide instructions/recipe.
Important to note that in videos the red rubber seems quite a bit larger than the black (which I purchased). That looks like it would be much easier to remove. Even so, better base, filtering and guidance on brew would help.
I still like it and will use it, but I won’t rave about it to friends.
The portable Rumble is my favorite as I can use it in many of my wide mouth bottles to cold brew coffee or to either cold or hot brew my teas and herbal infusions. The size works so well, and this one is even easier to clean because of the bottom coming off too.
We’ve been using these for both iced coffee and iced tea and they’re great and easy to use! Also easy to take apart and clean by hand. We use them daily and are giving one for father’s day also. Highly recommend as easy to use for bottling iced coffee or iced tea.
There are many different types of iced coffee makers for home use, and the best one for you will depend on your personal preferences. If you like your coffee strong and flavorful, then a French press might be the best option.
If you prefer a lighter coffee, then a drip coffee maker might be a better choice. And if you want the convenience of a single serve coffee maker, then a Keurig or Nespresso machine might be the best option.
