20 Best Humidifier With Essential Oil Tray (2022 Updated)

Hello Folks I live in Arizona where the bedrooms become very dry during the summer months. I have had my Everlasting Humidifier for over 3 years. the first two years I had absolutely no problems. I just followed direction on cleaning and handling.

Then last year near the end of the summer season my hum. would shut down. No matter what I did. I opened the electrical part of the unit up and could not find anything wrong, the inside was 100% dry.

I’m a part time electrician. This year I retrieved the unit from my garage, filed and turned it on and it worked for about two hours then same thing. nothing would get it to stay on. I set the unit in the sun for about two hours, Then I double checked and re cleaned it again, refilled returned it to my bedroom and it worked ah ha again one hour later red light.

Then, I thought something is heating up, perhaps one of the chips is aging. So just for the **** of it I went to the dollar store and purchase a metal wire basket 2″ x 8″x 12″ I set the unit on top of this $1.

00 basket and it’s been working for over 5 days not a lick of a problem. So apparently there is just enough heat under this unit to affect the chips in the base. Raising this up and getting air circulation under its bottom has solved the over heating.

If this is your problem $1. 00 will maybe fix it too.

This is the best humidifier I have ever used. It not only puts out a lot of mist but it also does not soak everything around it. I literally have it over top of my head on our headboard so the mist is falling on us while we sleep.

The blankets and pillows are always dry to the touch. The only complaint I have is that periodically the tank will make a loud bubbling sound as the water fills the reservoir. I tried different things to stop it but I have not found anything that works.

Besides that, it does what it’s supposed to and has stopped most of my sinus headaches using peppermint essential oil. I recently had an issue with mine and contacted customer service. They got right back to me and had another one shipped right out.

This is an Excellent Humidifier in so Many Ways. It’s so simple to use, it’s perfectly quiet, really reliable, best size (6L) cause just like nuclear reactors ‘you can’t have too much water’ and gladly, not intelligent at all and still an ultrasonic humidifier.

First, plain and simple, if you like all the features you read about, just buy it cause you can’t beat it. I’ve seen all the one offs about making noise, broken out of the box and stuff. I’ve bought six and have zero problem with them all.

The service at Everlast is so good (though email only) you can rest assured they’ll resolve your problem quickly. I know, I wanted unsubmitted coupons honored and I was granted the credits in less than a day.

This is the most important part and best part of all. When I said above, ‘not intelligent at all, and still an ultrasonic humidifier’. Yep, forget all the built in electronic soft controls. I’ve dumped 6 of those ‘soft’ switched humidifiers for a new set of 6 of the Everlastings ‘hard’ switched humidifiers.

I am running the set with the YoLink system Smart Humidistats/Hygrometers and they maintain the whole house at my set humidity levels, shutting on and off as needed and everything reports through my Smart Phone.

Don’t get humidifiers with built in controls, buy them separate if you want them. I’m not trying to sell Everlasting or YoLink. It’s just when you finally get really good products I want to let people know.

I’ve been running really problematic stuff for several years at substantial costs and finally that stuff is gone by the way-side. Sorry if I’ve been too worthy and I guarantee, I’m not associated with these company’s.

I just think they are some of the best and people should know that while they rumage through some of the junk.

I ordered 2 PureSpa XL – 3-in-1 Aroma Diffuser Humidifier & Mood Light. One is for my toddler’s room and the other one is for my room. I like that it is a cool humidifier so that I don’t have to worry about my daughter if it gets knocked over in her room for any reason.

She loves the lights and the changing colors. I think it helps her fall asleep. I, on the other hand, do not use the light on mine because I already have insomnia and don’t need another reason not to sleep.

I like that it is quiet. I fill it up and don’t have to worry about refilling it for quite a few hours, depending on how long I keep it on. Even though we have only used it for a short time, I notice that my daughter’s breathing is better and I feel a difference as well.

I have been wanting to get into essential oils but I am trying to find the right brand. There is a lot of different brands and I am still learning what the different scents represent. So being able to add oil is a major plus.

Overall, on a scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being love it, I give it a 5.

I’ve been using this every night for about a month. I live in a very dry climate and winter can be brutal on the skin and sinuses. I also purchased a humidity monitor at the same time. I have a large bedroom with tall ceilings.

This humidifier increases the humidity in my bedroom overnight by about 5%. I’ll go to bed when it’s 31%, let it run all night, and wake up and it’s 36%. I don’t run it during the day. I’m considering getting the larger model because it wish it put out just a bit more humidity.

Honestly, it’s still pretty great. It’s attractive, quiet, and the light is very nice. Makes a gurgling sound once in a while when the reservoir refills itself, but it’s still very quiet. This is the nicest looking humidifier I’ve ever seen.

I like seeing the water level without having a see-thru reservoir. It’s very classy.

Very well made This humidifier is great. Made really nice, a great design. Great quality. As a humidifier works wonders, especially good for winter months when she is really dry indoors and you have the heating on.

It’s perfect, gives the right amount of humidity and you can actually feel the difference! However as a diffuser it doesn’t work so well purely because the pads supplied aren’t sufficient to actually infuse all the aromas and essential oils to let it all into the air.

So unless you are using quite a fair amount of oil which it doesn’t not recommend to do you would really get anything aromas wise! I think the ones where the oils actually go into the water or liquid work better as diffusers.

But as a humidifier I love it. Pricewise to reflect the actual use of it I would say at £52 it is quite expensive as it is good as a humidifier but not as a diffuser. There are humidifiers that cost much less! Maybe is design can be corrected to intensify the diffuser side of this the probably would say well worth the money but in its current state it’s perfect as a humidifier only.

This humidifier is great. It does gives you that extra moisture in to the air in your bedroom or living room so important during a season that we use central heating at home. The design of this humidifier is so nice.

It can be easily left as a decoration. This humidifier is so quiet and it can be left with no light on so it won’t disturb your sleep. I really like that this humidifier will turn itself off once the water in the tank is finish.

It would be just perfect if this humidifier had a built in timer so you can set it how long you want the moisture to be added. But overall I would recommend this humidifier.

It works. The lights are perfect. It only holds 1 cup of water and if you overfill by even a hair, it doesn’t work. The glass broke with one light tap. But I take ownership for that. I would recommend for those who like delicate little things.

This is the first humidifier I’ve purchased after realizing how dry the indoor air has been this winter. You can use it manually or connect it to your phone for more features. It has a built in humidistat, 9 mist levels, the option to create a schedule, tracks the indoor humidity throughout the day, can turn off after it reaches a certain humidity, and more.

It’s great and has helped with my skin’s dryness! It’s also easy to fill and clean. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the humidistat seems to be off as it usually reports a % higher than what it actually is.

Every year as we get into the drier seasons (less humidity) my son gets sudden bloody noses. It happened again this year. We installed this unit in his bedroom where has been spending a significant amount of time during 2020-21.

Since installing this humidifier he has not had a bloody nose. I like the fact that it will not run if it is low on water, this was not the case with previous units we have own. It also monitors how much humidity is in the room, again not the case with previous units we have tried, so as not to over humidify the space.

This is important to me as I don’t want to solve one problem and start another. I am a big fan of this unit.

I don’t have this one but chose this because the Lēvoit model isn’t on Influenster. The one I own is The LV600HH. It’s the best one I’ve owned over the years. I use it in a fairly large room, around 300 sq ft.

I like how it has a special compartment just for essential oils. Also, it can hold up to 5 liters of water, which is a lot. Also it has two sprouts for the steam to come out. So you can have it going in 2 different directions.

It costs about $100 for this model and it’s 100% worth it. The build quality is also very solid. This is very good for infants as well to keep their passageways moist. I HIGHLY recommend this.

I have dry skin and winter does a number on my hydration levels so humidifiers are an absolute necessity for 4+ months of the year. I can’t count how many I’ve tried over the years, but in my experience most are more complex than they need to be.

I had a crane I loved and lost a few years ago and since it had been discontinued I purchased this one last year hoping it would live up to the hype. I loved it so much I just bought a second one for my living area.

I haven’t used the essential oil function, mostly because I don’t want to deal with the cleaning of it but it seems like it would be effective. There aren’t any extra mechanisms or doohickeys (apparently I’m 100) to complicate the operation of the device, just does what it says on the tin.

Here’s what makes it 5 stars for me: – easy to fill — no reservoir to have to detach and awkwardly fill in the bathtub without it spilling everywhere – no filter, nuff said – it PUMPS out mist without drenching furniture or bedding – to date, no issues with scaling or build up from hard water – biggest plus though is that there’s no built in humidity gauge to make it shut off when it reaches a certain “humidity level” even though it’s bone dry in the room.

This feature is a total gimmick, IMO. Thrilled to find a unit that doesn’t have it and works so effectively!.

Thank you Crane for this free product! The following review contains my honest opinions. I have used a variety of the Crane humidifiers: the traditional drop humidifiers, the newer smaller drop humidifiers with a diffuser slot, the travel humidifier, and now this top fill with diffuser properties.

This latest model is by far the easiest to use! I love how easy it is to fill : lift the top and pour in the water. I love how easy it is to clean: the top three pieces are dishwasher-safe and the inside chamber is completely accessible to be wiped down! There are a few features that I don’t utilize often, however I thoroughly see the value in: you are able to add a few drops of aromatherapy oils to the chamber therefore eliminating the need to use two separate machines; this humidifier comes with a very impressive nightlight feature which would work great for a nursery setting.

Now there are two points on which I feel slight concern: 1) the nightlight feature cycles through a variety of colors and I personally would prefer to be able to have more control over the color options 2) on the traditional drop humidifiers, there is an adjustable knob for the mist speed, on the smaller drop humidifiers there are setting buttons to control the mist speed, but on this humidifier there is no control over mist speed.

Overall I feel this is the easiest humidifier to use and to clean!.

You must not buy this product unless you will use distilled water. Unlike warm air humidifiers, which essentially distill the water by boiling it off, leaving mineral sediment for you to clean with vinegar and cloth, this ultrasonic device vaporizes the water with the minerals in it.

That means that you are going to get a white dust on every visible surface of your home. But also, practically, means that you will be breathing in that white dust, which is probably mostly calcium from the tap water you will be using.

This is not healthy and the dust on your surfaces will be both unsightly and a nuisance. Choose a warm air human fire or carefully review the ultrasonic device to ensure that it has been properly designed not to pollute your air with mineral dust.

I own doterra and revive diffusers. Bought this diffuser for the look, it resembles the young living glass diffuser however disappointed in the decline of the mist output after only having a month. It is very pretty and glass bowl and wood base are good quality but after only having a month the mist output has declined.

The insert where the mist comes out is plastic. After cleaning very delicately with cotton q-tips as instructions suggest and using daily the mist output is almost non existence. Frustrating to spend money on a product that should not decline in its purpose after using daily.

Would not purchase product again. Disappointed.

This holds 100ml so last longer then most. It is great quality. Genuine Real wood base (unlike the others that suppose to like wood) and real glass top NOT plastic. The base is a heavy wood not like pine The inside where you put water in is plastic but you dont see that.

You can have the light OFF , have light alternate in color, OR, by clicking button when a color appears you can stop it at that color. The price is great considering the quality of this and its appearance.

It does not seem to put out as much gusto (maybe because I like super strong) as the $23 better homes does but I liked it so much I purchased another one. At this CO. website its actually about $25 more so better PRICE through Walmart.

The aroma diffuser offered here makes a really great impression from a purely visual point of view. The design in combination with the wood look is really impressive and looks chic in almost every room.

The diffuser is a good size. The tank has a capacity of 200ml. There is also a timer setting where the device switches off after 1, 3 or 6 hours. There is also a remote control with which you can control the diffuser.

In contrast to other diffusers, this one has a special LED effect. If you activate the LEDs, you have a flame effect in connection with the water vapor. And that looks really great. Of course, this is more of a gimmick that a diffuser does not necessarily need.

What I like: You can choose between two different atomizer settings so that (depending on the setting) more or less water vapor is generated. There are 3 different LED effects that look really great in combination with the water vapor.

The diffuser will turn off automatically when the water runs out. The remote control extends over a large distance and you can make all settings here. What I don’t like so much: In contrast to other diffusers I have tested, this one is quite loud.

It’s not so loud that I find it annoying, but it’s definitely perceived as background noise. That’s a pity, of course, because you can’t use this diffuser in the bedroom. Another shortcoming is that the diffuser can only be connected via a USB cable.

Ergo you need an adapter if you want to connect this diffuser to a socket. And even if I choose a cheap adapter and add the price on top of that, this diffuser is still quite expensive.

The Airthereal aroma diffuser is a fragrance atomizer with ultrasonic misting. These devices are known, usually they have a typical onion shape. The Airthereal aroma diffuser differs here simply because it is larger and can hold a larger amount of water.

It also has an almost spectacular design element: the water vapour does not escape in a jet but in the form of a flame. Yellowish lighting from below makes it look very beautiful and it looks almost realistic like a flame.

That’s really something else. In principle, the use of this aroma diffuser is the same as with other devices: water and a few drops of scented oil are added to the water tank (here it is a full 200 ml).

It is advisable to use distilled or filtered water, otherwise limescale will form. Now you put the lid back on and put a small plastic piece in for safety, connect it to the power cable (a USB C cable included with adapter for the socket) and off you go.

The only thing that coloured fragrance oil is deposited in the white plastic area of the water tank is perhaps a bit annoying in the long run. Thanks to the beautiful cover in light wood look, you can’t see anything of it and the device always looks impeccable from the outside.

The workmanship is also good. All parts fit together well, there are no scratches and all LEDs work. You don’t have to assemble anything and you can use the device (if you have filled it up) right away.

All in all, a beautiful device that ensures the best diffusion of fragrances in the room. The beautiful and eye-catching design makes the lamp a real eye-catcher.

Briefly and succinctly can you say, there? the device does its job, but no longer. The missing USB plug is not okay at a purchase price of approx. 40 and the information in the production description about charging the device is incorrect, as it requires permanent power supply, which I find a shame, especially since the device can only be used for a maximum of 6 hours anyway! The function is quite simple, fill with water, add fragrances if necessary and switch on! Adjust settings via the remote control and youre done.

well not quite, you cant switch off the annoying signal tone unlike the light! This is why the seed is not suitable in the bedroom, as even when it is switched off automatically, this signal tone sounds and can tear someone out of their sleep! Conclusion If the price falls, you can live with the criticisms, otherwise there are good alternatives.

I have seasonal dry skin, so I’ve tried a number of humidifiers over the years. What initially caught my eye with the Dual 150 is the dual feature of a humidifier and an aromatherapy diffuser; cuts down on the number of devices on my side table.

From the adjustable mist controller to the large reservoir with automatic shut off, this is the perfect humidifier for my bedroom. Also, the noise level is low and doesn’t interfere with my sleep; I’m a light sleeper.

The tank was so big for adding water. Very easy to operate. I thought it was a bigger one with 500 ml capacity actually it was small and quite a cutie. The lights could be changed with the remote.

I am so glad with this deffuser. It has a huge reservoir so it’ll keep going for hours and the high/low output makes it suitable for almost any room. The night light is an added bonus.

Crane products charge a premium and fail when warranty expires. You buy the premium=quality but that is not the case with Crane. This humidifier failed after the warranty expired and now left with a piece of junk.

Turns on but no mist appears even though there is water in the tank/base. Similar experience with the elephant head humidifier. failed with the switch going bad and no longer making the clicking sound to turn on.

I got it on sale and didn’t expect much but needed a small humidifier with light for kids room. I gotta say this was the best $10 I ever spent, this humidifier is quiet and puts out a decent amount of moisture, the night light is very nice too.

I’ve been using it pretty much every day and night for the past 2 years and happy with it. The only reason I took one star down is cleaning, it’s hard to reach and clean the tank out so you need to soak it with vinegar solution for hours and then shake it like crazy.

I bought this for my room while working away in camp as the air was so dry – this worked wonders! I love that it has two settings for the mist (hi/low) and 3 for the light (change colour, hold colour, off).

It works great with just water, or with a few drops of essential oils. Easy to fill, takes a couple tries to get the hang of it to avoid spilling when it’s time for a refill, but I love it and hope it lasts!.

The entire room and at times the entire house is filled with the scent from this diffuser. I love that the light can be changed to solid shade of choice or turned off altogether. Lasting more than 12 hours of straight running I can leave it going or set one preset timers and not have to worry or fuss much.

About the size of half a loaf of bread it’s not the smallest but seems to be compact for the 700ml capacity and definitely not too big for home use.

I was upset about shipping but the item when I got was amazing I have had other similar and they are not even in the same running. Great look/ambience to the room. But the best is the amount of vapors and how it fills the room.

I love it. It’s very cute. I bought it but for my bedroom but because it makes too much noise when the water is boiling, I decided to use it in the living room. Which added more beauty as a decorative light as well.

This is a wonderful product as the features go (variety of colors setting, aroma diffuser, extra quiet) but I have read that some people have commented about the coating of items that are sitting near it such as a tv.

It does turn items white (coating or film). I have this in my bedroom so the only thing that seems to be affected is my tv and it looks bad with the film on it. Also, the water seems to evaporate quickly, even on the lowest setting.

It does last overnight but I cannot get 2 nights of use (overnight) without the light turning from green to red when the reservoir is empty of water. I do not like that it leaks a little at the bottom when you put it back together.

Overall, it is a decent product. Just do not sit it on anything that would warp from water. Do not over pay for the product either. Over thirty dollars is too much. EDIT: This is my review of this product 4 years later.

It is no longer quiet after 6 months of use. It is no longer well designed after 6 months of use. Coats everything now (white film on bed post, T. V. , cable box etc. ) I am solely using this as a night light and I am officially looking for something different.

The rubber legs fell off the bottom right away. The led light does not turn off when the dial is turned to the off position, although it is stated that it does. It was very difficult to get the bottom fragrance tray to come out.

However, it does put out a nice adjustable flow of moist air which is easily directed to where one wants it to go. It is much less expensive than most humidifiers. It will do.

I bought this diffuser for my son’s room as his quit working. We love it! It has a large tank we can use for two nights without refilling, has two spots for essential oils, is quiet and lights up like he wanted.

I have been using this himidifier for a while and very happy with this purchase. I was looking for an evaporative himidifier because I don’t want to keep buying distilled water and don’t want to deal with white dust.

So I decided to give this one a try. It is very easy to set up and super quiet. I like that once you connect it to your phone, you can control the sound and light (super useful when use at night because I can turn them off).

It is also convinient that you could fill in water right from the top. It has sensor for temprature and himidity, but I found the himidity it showed is slight higher than my himidity detector. Note that this is good for bedroom size and probably not strong enough for a large living room.

Other than that, I wish it comes with the function that controls the himidity up to a certain level.

Wow this humidifier is working so great so far! I have it in an enclosed space (bedroom) it raises the humidity from low 30% to high 60% which is crazy impressive. I got It to help with seasonal allergies and dry throat while the heat is on in the house.

This would be great for houseplants as well! incredibly easy to clean. I love no mist after having so many issues with cool mist humidifiers leaving white mineral residue around the room I was completely over them! I’m a plant person so have plenty of them in the house.

Tropicals. Do yourself a favor and switch to evaporative humidifiers, you won’t regret the ease of use. This is TOP fill and you just pour water in through the top.
