My hair looks so shiny after using this! This straightener heats up FAST and I love the automatic shut off. No more leaving your house and worrying you left your straightener on. Every straightener should have this feature! The design is slim and it easily fits in your hand.

I love the white body with the teal accents, too. My absolute favorite thing about it is that there were zero snags. I’ve had tons of straighteners and almost every single one of them pulls some hair out at some point in each hair straightening session.

It glides down your hair so smoothly. You only need to run each section of hair through once or twice. The only reason I took off a star is because it’s not as easy to curl your hair. I know this is a straightener so it’s not meant for that.

I use my straighteners to curl my hair, too, though. So, for me, I want my straightener to have that. I get a few crimps every time. Because the straightener is petite, it’s easier to straighten those out than I’ve experienced with other straighteners.

Overall, this is a great straightener. If being able to curl your hair with your straightener is a MUST for you, I’m not sure if this is the perfect one. This will be my new straightener moving forward!.

I was really excited to receive this curling iron because I have really long, fine here and it’s been very hard for me to find a curling iron that is doesn’t have an extremely high temperature range or does not tend to burn and damage my hair very easily.

Also, I have found most others to be clunky, heavy, and hard to hold/use-which prevents me from using curling irons more often. Right out of the box I absolutely fell in love with the color choices that Conair has made for the OhSoKind line and loved the weight/shape of the tool, and I believe most would users agree with me on that because most of my friends who used my bathroom and saw it, mentioned it to me how cute they thought it was and matched my other things.

The silicone handle is really comfortable and fits well in the hand, and the iron is light weight itself which is always great so your hand doesnt get tired while you’re holding it up-making me more likely to use it more often.

Since I’ve had the product, I’ve been using it a couple times a week as opposed to once a week with my other ones. I usually prefer a curling irons that don’t have a clamp, but the silicone clamp on this one I found to be very useful and it didn’t get in the way like I have found others to do before and I was actually able to use it to create some different looks.

It was actually easier for me to use this iron than most others that I have tried before and I would plan on re-buying it but it seems to be a very sturdy quality so I think that it will last me a long time.

The little added stand to it is a nice touch as well as the silicone cover. Overall I was able to get a variety of looks with this one tool and found it to be of really great quality especially for the retail value.

If you can work a straightener or a curling iron to give yourself curls, don’t ever lose count of how long you held a curl to heat, and never burn your ear, hand, face, or leave your tool on and find it still on later you might not like it.

But if you are on the struggle bus trying to get the back of your head, having to take a break cause you’re working up a sweat and your arms hurt, having to pull in random people in your household or calling a friend to help, or taking 2 hours to *try* to do your hair this thing is the holy grail.

I have thick hair and a LOT of it, super dense. I’ve seen people say it doesn’t work for thick hair and that it doesn’t work for dense hair but I’m here to tell you it does. I curled everyone’s hair in the house that was long enough to do it.

It worked on thin hair that doesn’t generally hold a curl too. I have told literally everyone I know who also suck at doing their own hair they should buy this thing. If you’re in the fence just dooo it.

While initially seeming a little bulky, it’s actually quite lightweight and is easier on the arms to use because you don’t have to use both arms to hold your hair onto a wand. I was nervous about my hair getting tangled or stuck, but if it does start to pull an extra hair on accident it will start beeping a incessantly until you restart it, and I’ve never had any trouble getting my hair out of it.

I love the feature where it beeps when it’s done so you get consistent curls every time. It can be pretty awkward to try to get your back sections of hair but that’s pretty much the same with any hair curler or flat iron! what I like the most about this is that it’s really easy to get beachy style waves/Curls because it leaves the last like inch straight which makes the curls look a little more finished and updated, and it’s fantastic that there’s never any weird little crimps in it like from a regular curling iron, and I love the fact that I don’t ever burn my fingers like when using my wand.

However, I don’t think that the technology of this product is worth the high price. I’m very interested actually to know if any of the knockoffs products that are a fraction of the price work as well.

If none of them worked even close to as well then maybe I might be more inclined to say it is a better value, but in my experience there have been lots of more budget options that are comparable to CHI’s other products, without the huge markup.

Omg. This thing is a time saver, I have relatively long thick hair so it takes at least 45min-1hr to curl my hair. Now with this? 15-20min I genuinely am shocked. The first time I took 25 min but that’s only because I didn’t know how to use it properly lol.

My hair gets stuck sometimes when I put too much in (they advise against it lol) but even when it gets “stuck” it immediately shuts off and a warning beep alarms me to remove my hair. It doesn’t hurt either.

All in all this is a great tool to have! It is very versatile. I will say that each barrel does give a different curl, but there is very little difference between the pink (curly) and blue (wavy) curl in my hair.

I have course hair that has some natural wave to it. The tool was very easy to use however none of my wand attachments would lock into place. None of the fell out while I was doing my hair though. I live in GA where it is fairly humid and these curls lasted most of the day with little product.

I LOVE this tool so much. I recently cut my hair very short to give it a fresh start. I feel so comfortable using this temperature-controlled tool to help me style my hair for the day. I use the smallest barrel to make my hair less frizzy and more “put together”! It has a guide to help with the temperature control, but I did end up using the highest heat setting.

Finally I found something that works and is easy to use! I am a very girly girl but still always have such a hard time curling my hair lol i’ve tried wavers, curling irons, curling wands, I’ve tried using my flat iron like the super talented people and nothing works.

this makes it so easy and it actually does work! my hair is long, thick and kind of dry and frizzy before I smooth it all down with my straightener. I used this and it not only worked but also made my hair soft! I washed my hair and used the chi then went to bed, the next two work days I skipped washing my hair but I did re-curl some spots before I went in and it worked so well.

the one photo is directly after using it on fresh washed hair, the other photo is 2 day old hair just re-curled certain spots. I brought it over and showed my mom and she liked it so much she bought it the same day!.

This curler really does work! It just has a learning curve. These are the steps I do to get it to work: 1. Take a small section of hair that’s long & narrow, not a wide section. 2. If starting from the top of your hair shaft, hold the curler close to your head, fit the hair piece in between the plastic V on top of the curler.

You can either hold onto the hair piece still or let it go so it’s just hanging down. 3. Push the wind button. If you want curls to face inward you push the button on the outside of the curler, if you want curls that curl away from your face then push the button closest to your ear.

4. After some trial and error you will be able to tell right away if the hair is winding correctly by the way it feels and the noise it makes. 5. You can curl certain sections even if your hair is long.

To do this you have to grab your hair from where you want it to start and wrap it around your finger like in the instruction booklet. You then repeat the steps above by putting the hair in between the V.

It will wrap it from that section onward. The biggest trick here is **the hair has to fit in between the plastic V on top of the curler** The most unfortunate part is you can’t get so close to your root, but the curls are still pretty!.

Short report: Its simple but gets hot quick and stays hot, the features work well, great for short hair but you need the longer one for long hair, expect a tiny learning curve but it is worth it. Full report: My stylist recommended this brand to me and I am a fan.

If you have hard to curl hair – get this tool! I have very fine/silky hair. It never wants to hold a curl, especially in the summer when it’s consistently 80-90% humidity. The only way it would hold it the best was with a flat iron, and even on extra humid days or rainy days, it would be almost completely straight after a day.

At first I thought this thing was a gimmick, but what intrigued me about the Le Duo is the fact that it blows air while you’re curling, so essentially setting the curl immediately, and I decided to give it a try.

When I tell you my hair has never held a curl like this. it has NEVER held a curl like this!! I even had to tame them because the curls were so curly! After the initial settling of the curls, I went outside, where the humidity was intense that day, and all my curls stayed! Pulled it out of the box to use and when I tried to use it the clamp won’t hold my hair to curl. The one is garbage. Bought the hybrid flat iron also and the plates were warmed or it was designed that way maybe…but will only hold hair at the tip.

These products looked like quality but they don’t work. And customer service is terrible. they won’t help sine I bought them on sale. I won’t be recommending anything from this company.

I really thought I was ordering a hybrid flat iron. I was extremely disappointed to get a hybrid curling iron. I feel like I searched for hybrid flat iron on the site and I don’t know where I went wrong but it’s fine for a curling iron.

I really like this curling iron. My hair has changed over the years to where it doesn’t take a curl very well anymore. My hair used to curl and stay without any product, but now it flattens out super quick.

I’ve tried so many different irons like T3, Chi, Babyliss, FHI, Conair, Hot Tools. the list is neverending. I’ve donated or given away all of them because they just didn’t work for my hair. THIS curling iron however curls my hair like I’m young again.

It doesn’t take long for the curl to form and stay there. I started with the 1″, but I think the curls are too tight for me so I’m going up to the 1. 25″. I’ll probably use both sizes. This was recommended by my hair stylist and it was worth every penny.

Works amazingly. I went to beauty school and worked at a salon. First, you need to use a heat protectant if you want any integrity left in your hair follicles. Second, hair masks do wonders to keep your hair healthy after all that blow drying and styling.

Moreover, I see some people saying it doesn’t work. First of all, curls don’t hold in some peoples hair. Thats on you. Another reason why is that if your hair is so fried beyond belief and you need the hottest setting to curl it, then your hair is already very damaged.

Its best not to go above 200 degrees if you have thin hair, and you can get away with 200-300 for thick hair, but its still not ideal. If you regularly are unable to creat a curl and are using the highest setting on this, then yes your hair will be fried and curls with most irons won’t take to it because your hair follicle is literally dried, fried, shattered, and destroyed.

Now back to the iron, its amazing. It works perfectly every single time. Its wonderful for 60-90s hairstyles. When using a curling iron, let it preheat, and then when you’re going to curl a strand, choose a piece that isn’t too thick each time.

Skim over the strand once to preheat the strand, then go back in again and curl that same strand. It will stay longer that way and you won’t be frying your hair to a crisp. Beauty hurts but it doesn’t have to be burnt and crispy.

This curling iron is one or my favorites, and ive owned tons of different brands and styles etc. This one is nicely made, it makes my curls beautiful and it has a temperature setting so you can decide how hot you want to make the curling iron.

It is gold so that’s a nice touch and makes it different than alot of the other curling irons out there. The handle is nice and has an etched piece where your thumb or fingers go so it’s nicer to hold onto that other ones I’ve used.

This heats up extremely fast and so that’s a big plus, especially for someone like me who is often running late or in a hurry! Overall i would recommend this curling iron, and the hot tools brand, to beginners, and professionals alike! It is great! I’d been waiting to get my hands on the Dyson Airwrap for a long time (think, years – since it first launched!) but was struggling to justify the price. Luckily I got some vouchers and got lucky finding it in stock, especially the new one.

I really wanted to love it especially after all the videos I watched online; but I must admit I am disappointed and definitely think it is overpriced for the functionality. A lot of people mention the steep learning curve but I would say I know how to use it effectively so my comments below are not a result of me not knowing how to use it.

Pros: It is very powerful so I can dry my hair really quickly, especially with the smoothing brush. No need to change barrels when you change sides. Love the smoothing brush and the round brush! Cons: Because of the lack of extreme heat, the hairstyles just don’t hold! Normally my hair holds a style extremely well and I don’t need to use much product or top up my styling daily, however with the Dyson, I find myself using it more often than I would another heat tool, which makes me wonder whether I’m actually now applying more heat to my hair? The curling barrels are not quick to use either.

I know the curls are supposed to drop out and give a more blown out look rather than a curly look but this is impossible without mousse and hairspray and as a result, it takes really long to style as you have to hold each section of hair for at least a minute.

I sometimes spend 30-40 minutes doing my hair only to have it all falls out and look like a mess within an hour. This has been my biggest frustration! I feel like I am wasting time rather than saving time overall, as the same style would have taken 15 mins with my curling wand or straightener.

I sometimes wash my hair at night but since this tool works best on damp hair I find that I have to style it before bed, which means I wake up with messy hair as it doesn’t hold overnight and have to start again in the morning, rather than get up and go.

I also think that there are too many attachments, for example, I never need to use the firm smoothing brush and the flyaway attachment does nothing for my frizz and flyaways. It would be better if you could customise your attachments to suit your hair type.

The storage box is also bulky and unnecessary. I would highly recommend trying this out at the store or borrowing a friends at least a couple of times before purchasing. While I love the technology behind it, don’t be fooled by the over marketing.

I’ve wanted this product since it first came out several years ago, but didn’t have the means to validate the purchase at that time. Now after years of saving, I was able to get the Dyson Airwrap as a Christmas present and since opening it on Christmas Day, I have been happy with the results.

Luckily thanks to the many reviews I watched on social media, I was prepared to understand the product can be a bit odd to use at first. They are not lying when they say there is a learning curb. I’m still working on mastering how to style with the product.

But after two days, my curls came out much better than yesterday. I’m still working on improving how to make the curls on the back of my head voluminous. The product isn’t going to make picture prefect hair in the first try, honestly its going to take several tries to get the results you want.

I use a foaming mousse and the curls last, without the proper products, your curls may fall out.

I purchased the Airwrap when it first came out, this is an updated review after using it for a few years now. I still would prefer a carrying case, albeit there is an expensive travel case that is now offered that gets so-so reviews.

The longer barrels that are available for purchase at additional cost are far better than the original size. Anyone with shoulder length hair or longer will greatly benefit with the longer barrels. The new small size brush is also an improvement to the original firm and smoothing brushes.

The smaller size make styling easier, lifting and smoothing can be done with better ease using the new smaller size. Those of us that purchased the original unit years ago are not only paying more for these improvements, the Dyson website charges shipping for attachments only.

There are other authorized retailers that don’t charge shipping. These new improved attachments really do improve the styling experience. I hope that Dyson eventually comes out with a new and improved round brush.

After all these years, I have learned how to use this expensive tool and appreciate it more and more. There is a learning curve and personally, I feel everyone has to play with this for some time to find out what works best for their hair type and style needs.

Due to the different type of drying function, I find the Airwrap makes hair soft, thin hair feels a bit thinner than using a standard blow dryer with a round brush. The Airwrap is just very different than the force you get with a standard blow dryer.

After all these years and the new improved attachment sizes, I definitely can achieve a salon style blowout much easier – but it sure took a learning curve and these new attachments. Dyson should really consider allowing new purchasers the option to select which attachments they want.

Dyson should definitely offer some new round brush attachments, please. its expensive, so if you are not willing to play with it and see what works for you – it is a waste of money. If you have the time and willing to put in the effort, you may learn to love it.

I feel anyone with lots of hair and thick hair will surely find it worth the investment. Lots of YouTube tutorial videos that are worth watching too. Definitely use product when using this, that is a must to get the curl to hold!.

Received quickly. I could tell very quickly that the product is old due to the condition of the box being beat up & coming apart. Inside has a velvet molding that the product sets in. All the parts had a dusty black coating on them.

Which I figured out was the velvety stuff. I tried each ceramic bullet to make sure they all worked, which they did, but after changing the first 2 out it started making a rattling noise. Something had already came loose inside! Guess I won t be giving this to my daughter as a b-day gift after all.

I sent this item back because of my dissatisfaction with it. It did curl my hair, but the curls fell out within hours. I do better with other products. Also, the first time I used it I got a very nasty burn on my cheek, that still has not healed and will probably leave a scar.

That may be because of my unfamiliarity of use, but even on a low setting, it gets very hot. I will stick with my other curling products and not try to experiment again. Sorry for the lousy review, but I’m still trying to deal with the burn.

I have chin length hair, and I have been trying to get soft, beachy waves. So far, I’m failing. I ends of the curls I get tend to “fish-hook” and stick out. Maybe I’ll figure it out, but I’ve tried different techniques already.

The product itself does what it says it does. It heats up quickly, and the hair glides through easily.

Seriously this is well worth the price. I have tried other curling devices but most of them got too hot for my fine, delicate hair. There is absolutely no learning curve. This is a wonderful device and well worth the price!!!.

I’ve had this model of curling iron for about a year now and I love it. I have long, below-the-shoulder length hair and this iron works great. It has multiple heat settings, but I only use the lowest setting.

Where one reiewer said the spring is too loose, this is exactly what I like about it. Other irons literally pull my hair out when I slide the iron down to smooth my hair. This one is perfect! I can defrizz my hair and add a nice curl to the ends without yanking any out of my head.

The nice barrel always stays smooth, never gets sticky. I think this is a great item, especially for longer hair.

Gives good shine, curl hold and doesn’t singe your strands. I tried it on a humbug looking to replace my babyliess one. Although it is not Babyliss it is good for its price range and for what it does.

It is made of hair protecting materials so all in all I say give it a try.

I can’t count the number of curling irons I’ve been through. I was a faithful Hot Tools user for years and despise them now (springs constantly fail), and I fell in love with a Revlon iron just two have two stop working within months.

I thought I’d branch out and try this brand. It is so awkward to hold. The hand part is as wide as the barrel so it’s not easy to maneuver. The buttons cover the entire handle as well, so I was constantly stopping to see if I shut it off or changed the temperature on accident.

The major con for me was the tip at the end of the barrel. The piece needs to remain cool so you can grab it when curling. I nearly burnt my fingers trying to hold it. I also decided the 1. 25″ is not for me.

A 1″ works much better for spiral/wavy curls. These were way too loose.

I work at Ulta and a representative came to do demonstrations with the curling irons. This product is AMAZING. I have really fine hair and my curls fall out as soon as I walk outside. I live in a really humid climate (houston, texas) and even WITH anti-humidity hairspray my curls would fall.

With this curling iron, I no longer have to use hairspray and my curls last ALL day long. I even had a few curls when I woke up the next morning. How crazy is that?? The difference with this clipless curling iron compared to others (Conair, Remington, Hot Tools) is that this iron heats from the base of the wand to the tip of the wand.

Most curling irons, clipless or with clip only heat from the base of the iron so the wand is a different temperature at the tip than at the base. The only bad thing is that it does get SUPER hot and I have burnt my fingers before.

They do include a glove that you can use to protect your fingers but I guess I am too stubborn. This is so much easier than using an iron with a clip. I have a curling iron with a clip and I have only used it 2x since I got it 4 years ago.

Enzo Milano is the way to go. Worth every penny; plus there is a great warranty on it!.

The iron that started it all?! As far as clipless irons go, I think so! I always get a smooth, frizz free, curl when I use this one and the 25mm is the most versatile size you can get. Depending on the look you are going for you can take larger or smaller sections or you can twist the hair around the wand differently.
