My son has very kinky, curly hair and as anyone with that hair type knows – you cannot brush it out when it’s dry. It has to be wet or damp. So, it would take me about 30 – 40 mins to give him a bath.

30 mins of literally brushing his hair out. (He has 3a curls) But I got this detangler today so I skipped brushing his hair out during his bath and immediately put this in once he was out and dressed.

Oh my god, this is such a lifesaver! I sprayed about 5 spritz all over his head and went to work. Literally within 5 mins, his hair was knot free and so much softer than without it! It also didn’t disrupt or mess with his curl pattern, which was something I was really worried about considering I love his curls.

My back and hands are grateful for this detangler! I highly recommend it.

This is thee best detangler I have ever used. My girls have really thick curly Polynesian hair and they would cry every time I had to comb their hair. Ever since getting this I no longer get resistance from them.

All it takes is 3-5 pumps for half the head and literally within the next 2/3 glides of the brush it will magically detangle. We call it “The Magic Spray” haha because it really works in a pinch. Hopefully this won’t sell out or I will have to resort to Google to hunt it down.

My little girl is 2 and has ringlet curls with the back always being so tangled and a little coarser that the rest I assume where she lays down. I wanted a really deep conditioning treatment for curly hair and this was the one I came across time and time again.

It smells delightful and is lovely and thick but I find it quite hard to wash out. My daughter doesn’t like her hair being washed because of water getting in her eyes so I have to wash it by hand with a jug and I think this makes a huge difference in it not being washed out easily so bear this in mind.

If you shower it off I think you’d be absolutely fine.

This spray works great at detangling my granddaughters super curly, thick hair. So far, it’s the best detangling spray I’ve found and I’ve tried a lot. This product smells fabulous.

This shampoo and conditioner are INCREDIBLE. I didn’t even need to use detangler to brush her hair this morning after washing and conditioning. The quality is awesome, it smells wonderful, and I’m super impressed.

Sulfate free products are usually pretty expensive, but this was a great value. So glad I tried, I will be buying for our family moving forward. I would recommend they expand marketing since it’s so much better than the other children’s shampoo/conditioner on the market.

I used to swear by this conditioner (for years) for my daughter’s spiral curls. It was thick and left her hair soft and easy to manage. But somewhere along the way they changed the formula. It is nowhere near as thick as it used to be and doesn’t do anywhere near as good a job as it used to.

I’m so sad they changed it because it used to be amazing. I am now searching for something else.

This was honestly my go to for my baby even till today. My baby had light to med thick hair and small curls so I needed something to help me manage with her hair, but something gentle as she was a baby at the time.

Smells SO good but not too much and it didn’t feel like it was damaging my child’s curls or weighing it down, non flaky too! it’s not a super hold gel but it’s enough to get the hairstyle you want to do.

My son uses this custard to style his hair. He runs it through his hair, to get it to lay down. He likes how well it works and it doesn’t create any flakes. I like that it’s not overly scented. Another reason I like this product is because it does not contain sulfates, glutens, parabens or mineral oil.

This product is absolutely amazing. Six months ago before I started this product my five year old son still had a little bald spot in the back of his head from when he was a baby that would not seem to grow.

Not only has his hair filled in the spot but every day when styling his curly Afro his hair stays in place and when I pick him up from school his hair is not dry and it looks and smells so good. I have a 19-year-old daughter and an 8 year-old daughter and because of the amazing results sometimes I use it on their edges too and just called them royal queens.

Their dad has dreadlocks and I grease/ moisturizer his hair with it as well and we are seeing the same results. Every time I go to Walmart or target I am having conversations with mothers with biracial and African-American children and expressing to them how wonderful the product is.

Most times they are so amazed with my experience they walk out with at least one or two bottles of the product. I really wish that all the products were in Walmart or target but I am Ok with buying the shampoo and conditioner online and getting the other products at Walmart or target.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE FORMULA. It has taken me years to find a combination of products that work on my hair and do not irritate my scalp. And I have found it all in one line. I initially purchased the Curling cream for my son, it works beautifully on his 4a curls the leave in not so much.

I ran out of my hair care product that did good enough but I was always looking for something better. I have 3c hair and the Curling cream was the first I tried. OMG my curls were soft not crunchy or hard, not frizzy after air drying or using a hairdryer.

I just recently tried the leave-in afraid that it would irritate my scalp. EVERYTHING irritates my scalp EXCEPT THIS. The bottle is a small issue if you promise to not change this formula you can leave the bottle the same and I will continue to transfer the product to another spray bottle that is not a big issue to me.

My son is bi-racial and has course, kinky curls. I found this product and loved it immediately. I use a whole regimen of products to keep his curls looking good. The conditioner and leave in conditioner are definitely what I use most frequently but I do combine them with the shampoo, oil and curl cream.

This combination provides looser hydrated curls. If we go for a tighter curl, I replace the curl cream with the mousse. Love them all!.

My son is mixed Black Caribbean and white so has mixed hair but it’s very thick and stubborn too. This product is a god send after trying so many. It’s lightweight, leaves no excessive residue and drys quickly.

I used this lotion awhile ago and I wanted to try it out again. I love the way it detangles my hair and it smells great. However, it does not keep my hair moisturizer long at all. I have to reapply it daily, which is something that leads to my hair being weight down and causes build up on my scalp.

Overall, for the price and the amount it is a good buy, that is if you don’t have extremely dry, thick hair. Also, if you are protein sensitive I would say go for something like the elasta QP mango butter, which contains no protein.

Oh, I almost forgot this does not have any mineral oil or petrolatum.

This product smells amazing. I use the to wash my little ones hair and then apply this after her bath to comb her hair. She has really curly, kinky hair. This helps to remove any knots and leaves her hair feeling soft.

I bought Cantu shampoo and nourishing Condition. After washing their hair with the Cantu shampoo I got all the water out and applied the Cantu Nourishing Conditioner. I left it in for 5 minutes and rinsed it out.

My kids have thick hair and brushing their hair feels like a chore. So I was truly surprised how easy it was to brush their hair out. I also couldn’t believe how soft and luxurious their hair felt when it dried.

I have been using Mixed Chicks products for a few years now for my daughter. I researched for a while for something like this and I will not use any other hair product on my daughters curly hair! It is great! I like the fact that it is for any type of curly hair.

This product was recommended by a friend who is mixed, whose husband is mixed, and therefore whose 2 tween and teen girls are mixed. My LO is also mixed, 2-almost 3, and plays with her hair for comfort.

She comes home almost every day with one dreadlock in the making. I have tried detanglers, pink hair lotion, even baby oil none worked the wonders that MIXED CHICK products work. If the knot is extremely bad I slather on the leave-in conditioner on dry hair before I throw her in the bath.

I love this shampoo. It doesn’t strip the moisture out of either my hair nor my children’s hair. We all have very different hair textures so it can be hard to find something for everyone. This was that find for me.

I just recently discovered this brand. The first thing I notice is the scent. This stuff smells so good! I can’t even describe it. Maybe kind of citrus smell but not too overpowering. It has a nice nozzle like tip so that you can easily target parted areas of the head.

I use this for my son after his bath once or twice a week. A little goes a long ways! You really don’t need much. It rubs in well. It is an oil so it will feel oily on your hands. It gives a nice shine to his hair (Caucasian) but doesn’t make it look greasy.

You can even really use it as an overall styling product since it give it a look like styling gel but keeps it soft and flexible. I just can’t get over how good it smells!.

My daughter has very naturally curly hair, which is the polar opposite of my straight hair. I haven’t been able to really help her care for hair and curls and her ends look fried. My kids love this new oil that I started using in their hair instead of conditioner. We use it in the bath after Shampoo and occasionally just 1-2 drops while brushing their hair in the morning. It makes their hair so fresh and soft and looks great – We will use it in conjunction with the detangler when needed.

Me and my kid both get dry scalp/itchiness periodically, but don’t have flaking/dandruff so the anti dandruff shampoo hasn’t helped. This works great. Conditions and nourishes the scalp and takes away the itchiness very quickly.

I have used Miracle Creme on my daughter’s hair since she was a 2 year old. She has naturally curly hair. She is now 8 and after trying several other hair products, Miracle Creme is still the best product for her hair.

It adds moisture and shine. This may not work on every girl’s hair. But it’s fantastic for my daughter’s hair. I order this online because Walmart no longer sells it in the store.

It was not that great at keeping my daughters flyaway hairs in place. It has a nice scent but it’s not long lasting. I would love it if it had a better longer lasting hold to it. I was very disappointed with this product.

My child had thick straight mixed hair we all wish we had. I never wanted to put harsh chemicals to ruin her natural good hair qualities like was done to us as children. Her hair is beautiful but starting to get dry and easily tangled.

Boy mom of a 2y (26m) old. Caucasian hair. We have had this about 2 months and have barely scratched the surface since we really only need a pea sized amount for his hair. He doesn’t have any reactions (itchiness, scratching his head, flakes, etc.

O. K. There are kids on the bottle but this wonderful product is not only for kids but for everybody (black, white, yellow, green. name it) with curly and/or dry hair ! It’s light, not greasy, and has a very good/light smell.

It lets your hair soft, shiny and easy to manage. Big companies think that curly/dry hair need grease which is a huge mistake. I’ll never waste my money on other detangler again. One of my best purchases ever !.

I was recommended Cantu for my super thick, super long hair by my hairdresser a after asking her for a serum that would do the job without using half the bottle each time. I used to use which was nice but not heavy enough for my hair and I felt I was using lids to get the desired effect.

Whilst it didn’t leave my hair greasy it just wasn’t economical. My hairdresser is Afro-Caribbean, does clients with all types of hair and whilst I don’t have Afro hair, I am English/Hispanic and my hair super thick and very long.

She recommended me Cantu Hair Silk Serum and it’s amazing! Never leaves hair greasy but does the job and I don’t need half as much. I love the smell and it’s so affordable too. Have and will continue to repurchase.

This product really works. It has the same o very similar formulation of other way more expensive (and smaller size) brands. I’m not fan of the formula because it basically a bunch of different silicones… but it works.

Love this product it really makes my hair shiny, just like all cantu products it’s perfect for curly hair. I apply it on dry hair and it makes it even shinier! Good value for price as well you only need a pea size amount and it’s lasts ages.
