There are a few different types of hair products that can be used for frizzy curly hair, but the best option would be to use a leave-in conditioner. This will help to add moisture to the hair, which will in turn help to tame the frizz.
Another option would be to use a curl-enhancing product, which will help to define the curls and add definition.
Wavy and curly hair can easily lose its definition-Curl Defining Cream brings it back. Advanced heat-activated technology provides intense conditioning and activates a curl memory factor to keep hair bouncy and control frizz for hours.
Argan oil and protein condition, detangle and tame curls, so hair remains smooth and frizz-free with great movement.
Y’all talked me right into it! I have used OGX Curling Perfection for several years and was quite satisfied but after reading a week’s worth of reviews for Morrocanoil Curl Defining Cream, I decided to give it a shot and made a purchase from Sephora.
My hair is fine, dry and naturally curly and I do mean CURLY. I blow dry to ease the curls a bit as drying naturally leaves me with very tight coils. I received the Morrocanoil yesterday and used it, following the same wash condition regimen as always, and using the same amount of Morrocanoil as I would of OGX.
First thing I noticed was how much longer my hair looks! The Morrocanoil results in looser, less sproingy curls than I get with the OGX and that’s a win for me! The cost for Morrocanoil is much greater, though in hindsight, I could have used less product – not enough less to even out the cost per ounce, but less.
The Morrocanoil did leave a film behind, somewhere between greasy tacky, but not intolerable; I would liken it to the same feeling I get from sea salt spray. All said done, I do love the look I get from the Morrocanoil but I’ll probably save it for going out and stick with the OGX for daily/work wear, simply due to the cost.
For thick and curly hair use Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie from SheaMoisture to reduce frizz and smooth hair for a silky, soft feel. SheaMoisture uses recipes handed down from a healer and give it a modern twist.
They use only the best ingredients gathered from around the world to provide the best products out there.
I hate that I didn’t like this hair product, because I really like the shampoo and conditioner of this line. But this smoothie was hugely disappointing. It has a very slimy/gluey texture that does not mix/spread into my hair well at all.
The first time I used it my hair was quite wet. I tried to work the product in my hands before applying, but was still left with white splotches I had to wipe away/in. Since it didn’t spread, I ended up using a lot of product.
After a few hours (when my hair would be dried with other products), my hair felt crunchy like a mousse, but sticky like a pomade. It had no natural movement and looked wet. I tried it a 2nd time on damp hair – not as wet as the 1st time – and used a lot less product.
It didn’t have the stickiness like before but looked the same. I had little frizz, but it was still stiff like if I added glue to my hair. Both times it leaves my hair looking fried – similar to when it’s damaged and fried with heat or chemicals.
It’s stiff, whispy, and dry. The container says you can add to dry hair, but it’s like adding glue. Not a good situation. The only positive thing I say about it is that it smells good enough to eat. Unfortunately, I can definitely not recommend this to anyone.
Thanks to TopBoxCircle I received this #freeproduct in exchange for an honest review.
There has been a new formula change to this product once again. I just wanted to put that out there for all of the folks out there that may not know this already. The newest version that’s out contains water as the first ingredient, coconut fruit juice as the second ingredient, and glycerin (vegetable) as the third ingredient.
Shea butter is listed as the 5th ingredient. And, the last ingredient listed is fragrance. At this point, I think, I have bought and tried every version that Shea Moisture has ever come out with this product before.
I can personally say that between the original version and the latest version, there is no major difference that I have found, even though they of course have different formulations of course. If you have a looser curl pattern, you use less, and if you have a more tighter curl pattern, or if you have thick or very thick hair, then you would use more.
It dries completely clear, it has the same scent, but it seems to be less strongly scented than I remember. Do I feel that it’s worth buying? Yes. I have hair where I can’t use styling gel on it back to back, because it will start to dry out.
So, I honestly prefer styling creams the most. But, a really good styling cream isn’t easy to come by. But, because this is a more concentrated cream that will last you a pretty good while, then it is definitely more cost effective to invest in, rather than something that you can buy and that will last you 2 weeks or so.
So, overall, I am really glad that I chose to give this new version that’s out a try, because, I’d rather have soft, touchable hair any day over stiff, crunchy, hair any day.
I originally had a love-hate relationship with SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I think it’s important to know that less is more with this product. Just for reference, I have low porosity 3a/b fine, natural long curly hair.
With other products I’ve been so used to using a ton of product, but when I did this with the curl enhancing smoothie it left my curls weighed down and honestly, tired looking. This product can really build up on your hair if you use too much!!! I started using less product and I started to like it SO MUCH more! So, a little goes a long way!! I usually wet my hair, section it, and rake the product in for best results.
It smells really good and it’s easy to use, but you need to find the right amount that works for YOU. It’s well priced and easy to find at most stores.
Enhance the look of your natural curls, with OUAI’s Fragrance-Free Curl Crème. Smooth and lightweight, the formula helps to minimise the look of frizz, flyaways and breakage, promoting enhanced gloss and shine.
A cocktail of Linseed and Chia Seed works to define your coils. Together, they encourage enviable volume and bounce while working to shield your tresses from humidity and external aggressors. A boost of Coconut and Babassu Oil assists with lessening the appearance of damaged cuticles, while working to maintain your natural texture and shape.
I used to have 2b-2c hair in my 20’s. My hair was the healthiest it had been, chopping a lot of the weight out was finally a thing and I had the hair I’d always dreamed of. After some years, hormone changes and a few layers of home bleach jobs (that were pretty good efforts) the dryness from the bleach really took the curl out.
I lived with it for a few years and decided to start growing it out. Short story long, I thought I’d start trying some new products to see if I could vsco on the curl back. After a few false starts with lacklustre products and results, I decided to give Ouai Curl Creme a go.
Boy, am I glad I did! Not only does it smell delicious (but not overbearing), it really kicked those curls back into gear! I have to use a little more than I normally would, because about 2/3’s of my hair is still bleached, but with some scrunching and a little sprayed water to reinvigorate the curl on the dats after the first style, I can get a good 2c going and have it last for days! On the first day I can obviously feel the product in my hair a little, but it’s not sticky and it’s not heavy, which is most important.
It really has been a game-changer and given mr my old confidence back, as I never really felt like “me” when I didn’t have these curls. They’re my thing 😁 Truly, give it a go, it’s an excellent product, especially if you’re like me and have difficulty really getting that definition due to bleach and/or overly dry hair.
Oh! It isn’t drying, either, but I’d still suggest a little serum for shine, as it doesn’t get weighed down by using more than o e product, and I have quite thick hair ☺️✨.
I used Not Your Mother’s Kinky Moves Curl Defining Cream, but they recently changed their formula and I had to find something new. I really like this cream, but only on freshly washed hair. After washing, I comb it through, scrunch my hair, then add a gel and I get more compliments on my curls than I ever had.
It makes my curls silky soft and bouncy. Very defined. But day 2-3 is another story. My usual routine is to spritz my hair with a mix of water and conditioner and then add my curl cream to help revitalize and define curls.
This product doesn’t help with clumping, or with taming 2nd day frizz, so I’ve ended up with greasy looking, frizzy curls; it becomes easily weighed down for low-porosity hair. It’s hard to coax the curls together.
I really appreciate a fragrance free curl cream, but I’ll have to keep experimenting to see if I can find a way for it to work on non-wash-day hair.
This product is clearly a creme that is not shy to define, and give your hair a subtle yet noticeable shine. IMMEDIATELY after drenching my hair in water, and applying the product, I barely had to touch my hair, and the definition was VERY apparent.
Y’all, when I say, I was shook. I have never in all of my 21 years of life had a product instantly define my hair upon application. I barely had to finger comb. It for sure provides a nice element of moisture as well, and I find that the more I’ve used it these past couple of weeks, the softer my hair is getting.
I’m not 100% sure if it’s this product, or some of the other products that I’ve been using in my hair for the time being, but I do know that this is clearly the moisture and defining agent in the squad of hair products I’ve been using.
This product has chia & linseed oil, babassu oil, and coconut oil in it, which are clearly carrying the product and running so that it doesn’t even have to jog on it’s own. Babassu oil is known as an oil that promotes high moisture retention, which seals the moisture into your hair shaft (ideal for high porosity hair types), and you know lack of moisture retaining products in your haircare routine is one of the #1 causes for breakage.
Chia seeds are rich in fatty acids which work to not only penetrate your hair shaft (great for low porosity hair types), but seal in the moisture as well. Linseed oil is the same as flaxseed oil, which is high in vitamin E, and not only treats hair loss, but promotes growth.
For my dry scalp peeps, flaxseed oil also can be used to prevent dandruff, and can provide relief. If you have damaged hair, or chemically processed hair, this is very ideal, since it has great moisture retaining properties, and it seals damaged cuticles.
My only con is that I have been noticing slight flaking on certain occasions, but that happens with whenever a bad combo of products is mixed. I highly recommend!.

Ok so I’m highly regretting the fact that I purchased this in January and hadn’t used it till March because now I can’t get a refund. I’ve bought this cream three times before in 2020 and 2021. Loved it so much! It gave great moisture and left my hair soft all week till wash day.
Never had any problems. Finished my last bottle in February but didn’t use my new purchase till now. I knew the ingredients list looked different but didn’t really think it would matter too much. I was severely wrong! Has soon as I put it in my 3b curls it was sticky and didn’t have the same glide that it used too.
I paired it with the Not Your Mothers Mousse. Day 1 & 2 seemed fine and moisturized yet weirdly sticky in spots. Day 4 I had to detangle my hair and I had some hair in my brush but that’s normal. After detangling I put more cream and a bit more mousse on.
Day 6 is wash day and my hair is super dry! Like brittle dry. Had fell out while detangling, fall out while putting on deep conditioner Ann’s running my hands through my hair, and last bit of fall out while combing it out after rinsing deep conditioner off! Normally I never have so much fall out and my hair felt horrible till I used my trusted leave in and the fall out stopped.
Please be warned if you’ve used this in the past it is NOT the same product has before.
🌼 Curl Talk-NYM Cream and Gel🌼 products that all curly girls should try. 🌼 About the Styling Cream 🌟Smells just like the shampoo of the line. I don’t know how to describe the smell but it is very delicate.
🌟 It has protein. ⚠️ It didn’t work for me after the protein mask because it left my hair very hard and with the nutrition mask, it left it dry. I found the point when I realized that it is better to use it after a hydration mask.
The hair is soft and smooth with this cream just after the hydrating masque. ⚠️ It’s hard to find the point of quantity. I feel that I have to use a lot to feel that my hair is absorbing it. 🌟It is preferable to use it with well hydrated hair (I use leave in before putting it on) and literally wet!!! ⚠️If it’s not wet enough, you’re going to feel like you’re getting your hair kind of mushy.
🌟My hair bounces with this cream. I like it a lot because it gives it strength, also helps me with the difficult parts to define (specifically the crown area) and it leaves it soft. ⚠️It doesn’t help me with the frizz.
⚠️ It doesn’t get along with any gel, not even the one of NYM. It’s a mess. I still haven’t figured out which gel might work for me. ✨ Being rich in protein, I don’t feel like it’s for everyone. Perhaps it works much better for those with processed, damaged, high porosity hair.
🌼Gel ⚠️It doesn’t smell good but it doesn’t smell bad either😂 it’s weird. ⚠️Even though it says “medium hold” it’s very light but you still don’t have to use much to help with frizz. 🌟 It mix kind of weird with the cream.
🌟In my hair when I put it on, I feel like it dries it out but once it’s dry, it doesn’t feel hard. ⚠️ I didn’t like the gel because it’s as if the beauty left by the cream was destroyed by the gel. I feel that it tangles me and I find it difficult to define my hair when I use it.
🌼About both: ⚠️ Both come in 177 ml presentation. I got these 286ml ones in a Christmas Ulta promotion (not Ultra) with @thecurlpty. In the USA, it cost approx 14 dollars, with the girl each one came out at 23 dollars (yes, it’s expensive in Panamá).
🌟 It does lengthen your definition (at least 3 days wearing a satin hat) if you don’t wear a hat, not even the satin cover will help you. The definition is easily lost if the hair is not protected at night.
This stuff sells like hot cakes! If you see it in stock, definitely don’t hesitate to pick up a bottle or two, because it is super popular, as well as, being super affordable. This gel doesn’t have a super thick or super thin consistency at all.
It has that perfect consistency to right in the middle that makes it super easy to work with. This product has so sulfate surfactants, dyes, drying alcohols, silicones, mineral oil, parabens or phthalates in it (for all those that may be curious).
It has a pleasant smell. This product is designed to enhance the look of ones waves, curls or coils, plus, it can also be used for creating slicked back styles with two. Now, I do have very dry, fine textured, low density, wavy hair.
This styling gel doesn’t weigh my hair down in any way, or make it feel greasy in any way or make new hair feel super crispy or hard either. Yes, it most definitely does provide hold to ones hair, but it’s definitely not like a lot of these gels on the market that are so drying to the hair, till you can.
’the even rub your fingers through your hair after applying such or else your fingers will get stuck. Now, in order to gets lots of volume and major curl definition, you will need to use a diffuser. I let my hair airdry.
And, this product doesn’t take almost half the day or longer like a lot of other styling products that I have tried. I don’t personally practice the CGM, but if you are someone that does, this styling gel would be absolutely perfect to add into your regimen.
For all pf you out there that are tired of buying gems only to ha e them flake on you, even when they claim they won’t this gel truly does not flake up at all. This honestly is the best inexpensive drugstore gel that I have ever used.
And, no matter what type of curly hair you have, I truly can’t recommend enough that you definitely give this gel a try ASAP!.
Our patented Alpha Keratin 60ku protein binds directly to the hair, filling and smoothing cracks and crevices along the cuticle, no chemical treatments or heavy waxes needed. Ideal for hair prone to frizz or likely to react in humidity. Safe for color-treated and chemically treated hair. Free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, synthetic colors and dyes. Gluten free. Cruelty free.
I have fine – slightly thin hair that is wavy/curly-ish and beyond frizzy. I haven’t highlighted it in years and I add heat to it once a month but yet I still manage to have the frizziest hair. I used this after non-stop hunting for a frizz product that could tame my hair during my trip to Tulum, Mexico.
It not only helped to calm my frizz in that humidity but it also tamed my husbands thick- curly – frizzy hair. I also LOVE that this is a vegan product! Thank you for finally making something that works for people with actual frizz.
I don’t know what I would do without this!! It’s honestly worth the price because most of the time this is all I use in my wet hair and then I let it air dry (I also use the Olaplex hydrating Mask prior which is incredible for dehydrated hair).
Just make sure you use a good amount of the Un-Frizz cream. For my mid-length, wavy/curly-ish hair that is on the thinner side, I usually use about a nickel sized amount. For my husband’s thick, curly, slicked-back, short hair, he usually uses about a quarter size when he doesn’t want to wear pomade.
It’s also a great alternative to wearing gel for those who don’t like the feeling. I hope this helps someone!!.
I received this product complimentary from Virtue Labs. I love using this un-frizz cream on my dry, wavy, and frizzy hair. I only need a small amount and apply it to my damp hair from my roots to the ends.
It has a nice smooth texture that is easy to work through my hair. It has a beautiful floral scent from the restorative blend of flower, fruit and herbs including sweet pear, soothing lavender, and fresh mint essential oils.
It makes my hair smell so heavenly. I then blow dry my hair or air dry my hair. It smooths my hair and makes it feel so silky smooth and soft without any tangles or flyaways. The lightweight texture absorbs into my hair without any greasy buildup or weighing down my fine hair at all.
It keeps my hair soft and does not make my hair feel crunchy. My hair feels very natural and looks healthy and smooth. I highly recommend this un-frizz cream!.
Virtue gifted me their Correct The Polish Un-Frizz Cream in exchange for my honest feedback and I am OBSESSED with how amazing this is! This is the first product I’ve tried from Virtue Labs and I’m definitely impressed with the product and results.
I have tons of hair but it’s on the medium/fine side and wavy on the top while being curly at the base which makes for an interesting look the moment there’s a drop of humidity or sweat. This feels like it makes my blowdry take less time and last longer.
Frizz is noticeably reduced and I’m left with smooth, glossy hair that isn’t greasy and doesn’t feel like it’s being weighed down by product. I imagine this would be fantastic for just about everyone and can’t recommend it enough!.
Transform frizzy, curly or unruly hair and tame it into smooth, straight, obedient style with this light, greaseless styling lotion. RUSK? Anti-Frizz and Anti-Curl Lotion temporarily removes curl, eliminates frizz, blocks humidity for up to 24 hours and becomes invisible in the hair.
This is the 1st hair cream that I had ever tried. I tried it about 5 years ago I got it on clearance for pretty cheap and I had never heard of the brand before. I use that on myself and on my daughter and it works very well.
I like the nice clean scent of it. I also like the texture. I did not realize that this was such a high end brand. I look forward to trying much more of their products as their leave in conditioner is my number one.
This is my go-to! My mom got me this a few years back, and I keep coming back to it. Naturally, my hair is pretty straight, but unless I blow dry it after a shower it ends up sorta unruly. I started using this, after towel drying my hair, I run the product through the lower half of my hair and comb it through.
Works great whether I blow or air dry it! Leaves my hair feeling silky, soft and looking straight!.
Like all Rusk products, this one is great! It doubles as a great, nourishing hair oil + a fantastic frizz control. I would add this too my hair sometimes pre-blow dry, sometimes before flat ironing and sometimes during the day at the ends when static is bad.
Honestly, it’s labeled for frizz but it definitely could be used for more! I love it!.
Kerastase introduce the Discipline Curl Ideal Oleo Curl Cream a leave-in formula that works to smoothen, soften and define unruly curls. Utilising a breakthrough blend of Pro-Keratin and Elastin, the lightweight cream increases suppleness and strengthens strands, whilst fighting frizz and controlling hair to leave curls calm and relaxed.
For 15 years I was a devout user of Kerastase products. I absolutely LOVED the Oleo curl and it was the only product I swore by. I religiously used and promoted this product to everyone I knew or saw with curly hair but since they have changed the formula I am not a fan at all.
This is the 3rd product that has undergone changes (they discontinued the pink sulphate free shampoo, the mousse bouffant, and now this) and everything is wrong. This product is far inferior to the original in every way shape and form.
The original product smelled amazing and I would always get compliments about the way my hair smelled. The new one not only does not perform the same but, it also smells weird. I don’t know what is happening with this company but I refuse to use their products for lack of consistency.
I go to 3 different salons to get my hair done and all the stylists have said the same “kerastase is not what it used to be”. I couldn’t be more disappointed. In fact, the person who colors my hair has a large supply of Kerastase for sale in his salon and when I asked if any product was worth purchasing his response was “I am really disappointed in Kerastase, I am trying to discontinue selling their products because many clients are unhappy with them.
I’m almost out of my 1st tube Oleo-Curl and I’m back for more. I hope Kerastase never stops making this. This is by far a girl with curls best friend. For years I’ve used from cheap drugstore products to high end very expensive salon products, some left my hair greasy, other stuff left it dry, separated and crunchy and by the end of the day I always had frizz with the other products.
This is Amazing! My curls look great, feel soft and I don’t have frizz all day long. The bonus, my hair even looks good the next morning. On the occasions I over sleep, I’m not freaking out about my hair.
I have been using the Elasto Curl, then the Oleo Curl range, from its shampoo and conditioner to this curl definition cream since Day 1. To be honest, the best result I got was the 1st generation Elasto Curl shampoo / condition / curl cream.
This is particularly so with the curl cream. The Elasto Curl Definition Cream gave me such beautiful, firm, bouncy curls that everyone used to think I had a professional stylist setting my hair everyday!! Then the Oleo Curl range came out and replaced the Elasto Curl range.
The 1st generation of Oleo Curl Definition Cream was OK, but nowhere near the wonderful result I got with Elasto Curl. The texture of the cream was much thinner and did not hold a curl as firm as the Elasto Curl Cream.
People stopped thinking I was having my hair professionally done since I switched to Oleo Curl Definition Cream (1st generation). Then this newer version (2nd generation) of Oleo Curl Cream came out and I am even more disappointed.
All it does to my hair is to tame frizz. With Elasto Curl, there was no other product on the market that could match the result it gave me. Elasto Curl gave me such beautiful “salon” look that I am willing to pay $100 if you sell it to me.
A good curl cream should hold a curl while keeping it soft and bouncy, instead of just taming frizz. So please bring back the Elasto Curl Definition Cream.

I’m a 62 yr old woman with naturally curly hair past my waist. My hair, not extensions. I don’t blow-dry my hair or use curling implements. Every once in a long while (like 5years) I will use my ceramic flat iron just to have a different look for an occasion.
But I’m a wash-and-wear woman. I live in Florida, and had not yet found a product that kept my hair from frizzing. I’ve used PM products in the past and liked them. Especially the Super Skinny Serum.
So when I came across this product at a salon I decided to give it a try. It keeps my hair smooth without weighing down the curls. Once dry it can be a bit “crunchy” like a lot of leave in products. But i’ve found that gently scrunching my dry curls breaks it up, and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and curly.
Unfortunately, as with other reviewers, I find small chunks of white in my hair after applying, even with pumping it into one of my palms and then vigorously rubbing my palms together to warm and emulsify the product.
With as much hair as I have, combing through my wet curls and picking out the chunks is tedious. Will it keep me from using the product? Doubtful. Simply because it really makes my hair look lovely. However I may have to resort to using it only for special occasions, until the problem is solved.
I have 2c mid back length hair. I tried this product alone without any other products. It smelled good while applying but left no other scent once dry. I scrunched this in and allowed to air dry. Once my hair was completely dry there was no defined curls.
It wasn’t crunchy. It seemed to weigh my hair down. I tried using less the next time and still no results I was looking for. There was less frizz but no definition. Maybe as a frizz tamer but not for definition.
This is my favourite product! Because of my dry curly hair, which is prone to frizz, I use five products (including a Paul Mitchell shampoo, and a conditioner of another brand) whenever I wash my hair.
This is the last one I use and is the one I rely on most. If I don’t use it, I don’t get the result I want. My hairdresser even applies it for me after washing and cutting my hair. This is a terrific product for curly hair if you want a soft hold without crunch/crackle – and that soft curl is what I get after I comb my dry hair with a wide-toothed comb.
Rich cream delivers essential moisture for touchably soft, defined & de-frizzed curls. For all curl types that crave a moisturizing styling creamNO SLS/SLES Sulfates*, Silicones or Parabens. *SLS/SLES Sulfates= Sodium Lauryl Sulfate/Sodium Laureth Sulfate.
#United We Curl Lets bounce! This rich moisturizing styling cream defines and de-frizzes, for curls that are irresistibly soft to the touch and ready to spring into action. Apply to wet curls. For definition, scrunch upward.
I received these products for free from Influenster and Zotos Professional in exchange for my honest review. I want to start off by saying that my hair is wavy, not curly, so I can only speak to waves, not curls.
This product did leave my hair feeling soft, and my ends felt like they did have some more moisture since that is the driest part of my hair. My hair had less poof and some more wave to it about a day after I put this product in.
The first day after I washed and used this product, my hair was still it’s usual ball of poof, but the second day, it had settled down nicely. I’m not 100% sure, but since I used the All About Curls products I was sent, my color treated hair did seem to lose some of the color.
Now, it could just be my grays because they are intense and come out strong, but I used this product and the others about 2 weeks after I had my hair professionally dyed at the salon. After a few days, I started to see some gray peaking through.
Like I said, not sure if it was this exact product, a combination of me using all the ones I received, or just a fluke since I couldn’t run scientific tests to find the exact cause. Just beware using this product right after your hair is dyed.
I took off 2 stars because after the second day of having used this product, my hair felt really weighed down and limp. It looked kind of raggedy to be honest. I don’t wash my hair every day or even every other day, but I had to when I used this product.
Just because it didn’t really work for me, doesn’t mean it might not work for someone else, especially with truly curly hair.
I received the all about curls cream complimentary from influenster for testing and reviewing purposes. My hair is very thick, dry, and wavy, and is chin length at the moment. This cream doesn’t have much of a scent which I love because I can’t tolerate heavy fragrances and I don’t like for my hair to smell like perfume.
It’s not greasy, its lightweight, and only takes a small amount. I don’t usually wear my hair curly; I usually flat iron it. But for the purposes of testing this product, I washed my hair, and then applied my usual products along with this cream and let it airdry.
This cream was hydrating, non sticky, did not make my hair oily, and did not make my hair feel crunchy or stiff. It left my hair super soft, hydrated, held the curls until I washed it out, kept my hair frizz free and protected from this Louisiana humidity.
I was also able to brush my hair after it was dry and it maintained the curls. Usually if i wear it curly, I can’t brush it after it’s dry because it turns into a poofy nightmare but this cream allowed me to actually be able to brush it and style it after it was dry which I normally can’t do if I wear it curly after it dries which is one reason why I flat iron my hair 99 percent of the time.
This cream is definitely a game changer and I would definitely recommend it!.
received the All About Curls Collection VoxBox from Influsenter and Zoto Professional as a complimentary sample for testing purposes. One of the products was All About Curls Taming Cream. The cream is packaged in a 5.
1 fl. Oz. tube with a lime green background and black writing which makes it easy to read about the product. The thick white cream defines, softens, and sets my curls in about 20 to 30 mins with ease.
It says to apply to damp curls but I apply it in the shower after conditioning my curls. Then I will slowly comb through my hair to disturb the cream and squeeze out some water. Next I place a turbine over my hair and leave it for about 20 mins.
When I take off the turbine my curls are set. Leaving me with beautiful non-frizzy curls. This cream is free of Silicones, Parabens, Cruelty-Free, and Color Safe. All About Curls products are disturbed by Henkel Corporation.
Bundles the curls and gives them bounce. Leaves no residue and makes the hair supple and shiny. It improves the elasticity of the hair and makes the wave / curl compact. Ideal to give definition to curls / waves.
Application Apply a suitable amount to towel-dried hair after using LOVE/shampoo. With diffuser the effect is additionally strengthened. Result Gives elasticity and volume. Additional hydrating and nourishing properties that help restore the natural hydrating action in the hair fiber and deliver it to the lengths and ends.
Has a strengthening effect and provides long-lasting elasticity. Makes hair more supple and strengthens bounce.
This is my favorite hair product for my hair! I have curls that are fine so I can’t use any product that is super heavy, but I need something that will prevent me from getting frizz. I have been using this product on my hair for a few years now and am amazed at how well it works.
I do mix this product with a leave-in conditioner when I apply it to my hair. I’ve attached a photo of the tremendous difference this product makes on my hair, and what I look like without any product in my hair.
Sometimes I will use this on my son’s curly hair after the bath. It makes his curls more defined without weighing his hair down with product. Once his hair dries, you can’t even tell there is product on his hair, because the finish is weightless.
The scent is wonderful as well. My husband and son both use this product, and it is amazing! Wonderful for thick, wavy to curly hair.
FIGHT THAT FRIZZ. Miracle Curls Frizz Free Curls Cream helps you define curly locks for soft twists, kinks and coils you can’t get enough of. Sulfate-free and infused with coconut and jojoba oil, Frizz Free Curls Cream smooths and shines without weighing hair down.
Smells like crisp grapefruit, sweet berries and spicy florals. Who runs the world? CURLS.
My hair has a curl when it’s wet but seems to weigh down once it dry and combed out. I decided to try this curl activator. I have a lot of hair and had to use a good amount on the pump. I placed it on wet hair.
When it was dry I noticed the curls stay more defined and bunched together rather then a mess it is without it. I made sure I did not comb much to keep some of the wave. However, with some brushing It does weaken the curl.
The smell is decent and not overpowering nor is it too much like a chemical scent. There are some brands that can make me sneeze but not the AU 2nd Day curl activation. My hair also feels smooth after use but one should gage how much is good for their hair.
Overuse can leave a sticky film. This is a good curl activator but it’s not long lasting if you have heavy hair. It worked for my hair to about the earlier part of the day. I have not paired other hair products with this to see if the curls with be sustained for a longer time.
Overall this product works for the majority of they day and is worth a try.
I wish Aussie would specify that this product is for African-American, or natural hair that is 3c to 4c in texture. This is an amazing and affordable product for the right hair textures. Unfortunately, there are bad reviews from people with hair textures that this product is not best intended for.
I usually look for products for my hair that specify they are intended for African American hair. I somehow stumbled upon this product and I fell in love! It smells great, is inexpensive, and usually easy to find in plenty of retailers.
I am a huge fan! I use this product on my wet 4b hair and let it dry naturally for curly wash and wear. I will place this product on my daughters 3c hair while wet and blow dry straight. It is shiny and moisturized without being greasy, flakey or drying.
I love all Aussie products! They really focus on providing products that meet specific hair needs. I have dry hair that is long and naturally curly. I love my curls, but I hate frizz! I find the way to keep my hair frizz free is to use products that are targeted toward preventing that.
Aussie Miracle Curls 2nd Day Curl Activator works exceptionally well on curly hair. It’s so easy to use and yields beautiful, frizz free curls that last all day long. Simply spray your dry hair, run your fingers through it, and then scrunch.
Your curls will feel soft, moisturized, and have a lovely scent too. The ingredients are excellent, and this is a must have for us curly girls! It also works really well when on vacation. You can skip that shampoo and just spray your hair and have fresh beautiful curls!.

I have very thick, coarse, wavy, dry hair. Ive tried hundreds of products and this is literally the best. I no longer heat straighten my hair – I just comb one pump through when towel dried and it air dries with a beautiful, natural wave.
My hair feels so much softer and healthier with ongoing use. When my hair feels a little dry in between washes, I simply dampen the ends and work a tiny amount through to recondition. I no longer use any other products in between washes.
Thank you so much for making this incredible product! I also use the Hydrate Masque and a really gentle shampoo. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been and is growing long and healthy.
I recently treated myself to some new shampoo recommended to me by my stylist and I can honestly say, my hair has never looked better! I have been growing my hair out for a year now and with frizzy, course hair it has been a challenge.
I tried everything to tame my mane but nothing I tried came close to what this product has done for me! I only was my hair twice a week and it takes a very small amount of product to get my hair clean.
I must of used most curly hair products. Where was this when I lived in humid countries. This is fabulous controls frizz and gives amazing looking curls. Of course hair needs to be in good condition with a good cut that suits curly hair.
I probably use more than is recommended but it works for me.
This curl Gel adds a dose of moisture and shine, with complete frizz control. Block OUT humidity with this alcohol free hair gel, styling Gel, curling gel and sculpting that holds curls and waves, while leaving them full of shine.
Sheamoistureʼs anti frizz Hair products, like this curl Gel and frizz control Hair Gel milk, can also be used as a dry hair gel or firm hold curling gel on up dos. Infused with straight-from-paradise papaya, juicy neroli, elder flower and fair trade Shea butter, this curly hair gel and frizz control Hair Gel for Women gives all day hair perfection.
Apply a nickel size amount of gel to wet curls and waves from root to tip. Repeat as necessary. For best results use styling hair gel as a primer before layering styling products.
This product I believe is for loose texture curls. Maybe ( 3a/3c) I have kinky curly hair. (4a/3c) I first wash my hair and added the hair milk and paired it with the all day frizz control Gel. They both seem to be gels? When I first applied it they both did define my hair and they paired pretty good.
While wet, My hair was soft and it did stretch and elongate my curls. What I didn’t like was that it also dried out my hair. It was pretty bad. I had flakes when it dried and my hair started to form single strand knots.
So I left it in another day, added oil and the flakes was ridiculous! I am pretty advanced at natural hair been natural 6 years and this product smells heavenly great! But when it dries on my hair it is awful.
I believe what need improvement is flake control and moisture. Definition I will give 7/10 not bad! For my kinky curly hair. The smell is really sweet, you can really smell the papaya and I do recommend for loser curl pattern.
Apply a small amount of cream to towel-dried hair, starting from the ends. For more defined curls and less frizz, use a diffuser on low setting and don’t dry completely, touching hair as little as possible. For frizz control throughout the day, apply to the ends of dry hair.
I used this repair oil as a daily moisturizing product and I really love my results. The perimeter of my hair gets really dry because it does not stay under my bonnet while I sleep. Foxbrim’s repair oil helps keeps the perimeter of my hair moisturized to the same consistent of the rest of my hair.
This oil is not oily at all and it quickly absorbs into your hair without leaving any residue. The oils that make up Foxbrim total repair are very quality natural oils. Organic Argan oil helps make hair shinier, softer, and silkier.
Grape seed oil has moisturizing and conditioning properties, and reduces hair loss. Jojoba oil treats dry scalp, strengthens the fibers of the hair from the inside, and encourages hair growth. Sunflower seed oil stimulates natural hair growth, and keeps your hair smooth, soft, and healthy.
Shea butter is also in this product and it helps to soften hair, lock in moisture, and protects against heat. Foxbrim Total Hair Repair Oil is a quality hair styling and treatment product. You will not be disappointed and you will love your results.
(I received this product to review, but my opinions are my own).
I thought this worked well. I have really curly hair so I definitely need the anti frizz. It’s one of the many products I use in my hair after the shower. It smells good and is effective. I don’t use this product by itself and actually never tried too so I can’t say anything on it’s use as the only product.
Helps tame frizz so that’s good. I am putting a picture of my hair to show it’s not frizzy.
anti frizz cream is very inexpensive but it does an okay job. It comes out creamy and thin but it’s not bad. It smells good, like citrus. The bottle is small and has a cap to reseal it so it can be stored in a purse, my car, a desk, or anywhere I travel.
The formula in this does an okay but not great job of calming my frizz. I can use a little bit of this to tame down my flyaway hair and frizz but within a couple hours I need to reapply. For the price, it’s worth it but I feel as if I reapply this more than my other products.
My hair from about my chin down seems to do okay using this frizz serum but the top of my crown and around my face seem to need a lot of reapplications of frizz serum. The smell of this is nice so it’s a product I’ll probably buy again.
The price can’t really be beat and although I have to apply every couple of hours, if I stay out of the wind or don’t roll my car window down a lot, my frizz isn’t nearly as bed.
Living Proof gets to the root of all your hair concerns like frizz, damage and volume. Formulated with patented technology, the former hairstylist founders partnered with scientists to develop products that change hairs behavior.
They stay away from silicones that really just mask hair problems and dont solve them. They have a patented Healthy Hair Molecule (OFPMA) which creates a weightless, invisible shield over each and every hair strand.
This helps to repel dirt and oil, making hair cleaner for a longer period of time. Products are free of silicones, parabens, phthalates, and animal testing, and are non-toxic. Safe for color and chemically treated hair, Living Proofs products help to achieve that fresh from the salon look from the comfort of your home.
They have a breakthrough thermal speed-shaping technology as well, that helps to reduce the amount of brush work needed when blow drying your hair. Living Proof products are top notch.
After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this. I’m so glad I did. I had previously been using Pattern’s styling cream but the SMELL!! I couldn’t get past it. It worked great but the smell was just too strong.
Smelled like a bouquet of flowers which I do not enjoy in my hair. This stuff on the other hand smells AMAZING! Has a fresh out of the shower fragrance that’s not too empowering. I have thick hair with natural waves.
I used this stuff right out of the shower and my hair dried to natural looking beach waves! I would not recommend using this anywhere near your scalp because you will look greasy. It’s very light and makes my hair feel super soft! I will forever use this as long as Living Proof continues to make it.
The mini size is actually a decent size and a little bit goes a long way! If you’re hesitant on buying this stuff, go for it!!!.
I love Living Proof products. Most don’t fail to nourish and hydrate my hair. But I was skeptical about using the curl enhancer since I have loose wavy hair. On top of that, I’m not really a hair product person, in general.
Like if I’m styling my hair, I’ll use a heat protectant and do a mask or treatment on occasion, but I don’t typically use a product post-shower on the reg. This was a game changer. My hair had waves I typically can only achieve after styling with a heat tool.
And it looked super healthy and conditioned. The luster and luminescence are reminiscent of the efficacy of Kerastase products, which I j’dore. The fragrance is beautiful, similar to other Living Proof scents – light, clean, fresh.
I’m considering adding this to my daily routine; the only caveats are the price and my having to expand my beauty regimen.
This product does wonders for my wavy hair! I’ve been using this for the last few months and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my hair compared to other products. It turns my waves into tighter curls without making my hair crusty, heavy, or greasy.
It’s super lightweight and you don’t have to use too much of it to get the effect that you’re looking for. I usually apply this to my wet hair and scrunch it in, then I apply a mousse over the top. It makes my hair so much softer and less frizzy especially in the winter months.
A bonus is how great it smells! It’s a really subtle but pleasant fresh fragrance. I will definitely keep purchasing this!.
Meet the “curl whisperer”! Anti-humidity treatment for curly hair. Create curl of your dreams! For most waves, classic curls and spirals. Benefits Combines benefits of out-dated gels, serums and heavy creams but feels like nothing is on your hair Completely transforms hair texture to give the silky, supernaturally glossy healthy looking curls Moisturizes, conditions and de-frizzes Enhances curls and restores bouncy spring and elasticity Ensures flexible, non-brittle all day endurance Super light alcohol-free formula without greasy finish Leaves curls silky, hydrated, bouncy, glossy without weight or stiffness Technology Elasta-flex – combines three powerful polymers to solve every frustrating problem related to curls, the perfect ratio of these polymers ensures silky, hydrated, bouncy, glossy curls without weight or stiffness: Polymer #1 moisturizes, conditions and de-frizzes Polymer #2 restores bouncy spring and elasticity Polymer #3 ensures flexible, non-brittle all day endurance + high-gloss shin How to use After shampooing and conditioning or alternatively, wetting hair thoroughly, gently squeeze out excess moisture.
Comb if desired. Spray liberally, section by section (making sure to spray underneath sections as you go !). Air dry, or blow-dry using a diffuser. The product is designed for letting curls air-dry naturally.
I have fine, low-density (“THIN!”) hair that’s wavy if left on it’s own to air dry, curly if loaded up with gel, manipulated/scrunched for half an hour and diffused. I’m trying to be lower-maintenance with my hair and let it air dry more often, so I’m looking for one-and-done products that work well without a lot of fussing & intervention.
This stuff really does feel/smell like nothing when it goes on (which makes it a little tricky to know if you’ve distributed it well). As it begins to dry, a cast does form and it can feel a little brittle/sticky/crispy while drying.
Once it’s dry I’d say it does a few things well: Definition is good (better than most of my other air-dry creams). Frizz control seems good (curl clumps seem to have plenty of hold) Seems to enhance my wave pattern a little.
But the cast is fairly tough to release (which means a lot of scrunching/touching, which is annoying when you just want to spray something in and head out the door). I suspect the bottle will be gone in no time (it does take a lot of product to cover my hair and I really don’t have much hair.
I’m guessing 6-10 uses out of one bottle if I’m lucky, so it’s pricy). Overall: don’t hate it, don’t immediately love it, but I probably don’t have anything else like it in my closet full o’ hair products (and it does seem to work well on it’s own).
Haven’t tried it layered with anything else, and I tend to wash daily (or put my hair up), so not sure how well it does with a refresh on days 2, 3, 4.
I have very naturally curly hair and have tried an extremely wide variety of products and brands over the years. I was very skeptical with this one claiming to be all products in one, but it truly is.
I couldn’t believe what my hair looked like when all I did was spray it in, comb it through, and let air dry. Because it is light it does not weigh my curls down and my hair dries quicker as well because I’m not using heavier styling creams or gels.
I’m really pleased with this product. I even love the removable lock on the sprayer so you can take it with you without any mess. Where they could improve is the shape of the bottle. The rectangle is not the easiest to handle.
Also, if you have longer hair like I do, the whole bottle was gone in about five uses. Please sell travel size and jumbo refills. Thanks!.
This product was horrible in my curls. It did not perform as advertised. I followed the directions and sprayed the product through sections of my hair after a wash and combed through but ended up with a tangled mess! I thought I did something wrong so I tried it a few times in different ways but always ended up with stringy tangled hair.
Even after using it together with my other tried and true products it just didn’t work. Honestly feels like putting a ton of hairspray on your curls. It didn’t even control the frizz. I had to detangle several more times and was left with tangled waves instead of bouncy soft curls.

I got this product to test for free but I always give an honest opinion no matter what. Having tried just about everything out there, it’s better to know what you want without wasting your money trying to find out what works best for you individually.
I got this in the mail yesterday & was so excited to try, being as I’ve ALWAYS been obsessed with biolage’s products. they smell amazing & make my hair feel even more AMAZING. literally everything I’ve tried from that brand has worked wonders, so I had no doubt that this would too.
I’m not huge on all organic & green products, but hey. if it’s good for your hair & good for the environment etc. than I’m all for it. Being a styling spray, it says to spray in damp hair & to blow dry.
but I was so eager that I sprayed it all over my dry hair. To my surprise, it made my hair super soft, almost like a detangler or leave in conditioner. not sticky or heavy like some styling products.
Then, after my shower last night I sprayed my damp hair down again to see the difference. All I did was throw it up in a messy bun till morning. I didn’t blow dry, style or anything an lo & behold. I let my hair down the next morning to find perfectly loose & bouncy beach waves.
I have no idea how they came out so great when I just gave my straight hair a twist & threw it up in a bun, but you definitely need to try it for yourself! I’m big on cosmetology, like mostly makeup wise & never spend too much time on my hair so this is the PERFECT way for me to have great hair on an everyday basis 💁🏻♀️ It does have lavender in it & you can definitely smell the lavender in your hair but it’s not as overly scented as other products from biolage that I’ve tried.
but then I realized that it’s all natural ingredients, no artificial fragrances or anything so what more can you ask for. I would definitely recommend this product. I’m interested in seeing how well it works with all different types of hair.
I have a lot of hair but the strands are thin, long, straight hair that’s bleached. I would never really classify my hair as getting frizzy almost ever. The only time I may want a little more control is at my part when I curl my hair.
So that’s exactly when I used this Frizz Control styling spray. And oh my GOD it worked like a dream! It was the PERFECT formula for my hair. It did not weigh it down and my hair needs a lot of product to hold a curl so there’s already a lot going on in there.
I was incredibly pleased to experience such a lightweight texture that smoothed everything I wanted smoothing out! And the scent. it was ABSOLUTELY divine! I couldn’t get enough of how beautifully organic smelling it was.
The only thing I noticed was that it did not keep every single hair down as I would have liked it. I’m sure that’s to be expected from a lighter weight product though so you give some you get some! Overall I loved it!.
I have been testing this product out from last week Sunday after it was sent to me for free for testing purposes! I waited a while before reviewing because i really wanted to see how this worked on my hair.
What amazed me is that I only used this product once and this still has my hair soft and i have very curly hair!!!! Anyone who knows curly hair knows it gets dry fast so I am beyond thankful for this product.
On freshly co-washed, clean dampened hair i misted this into my damp hair from roots to tip making sure all my strands was coated and I braided it into 4 braided sections for the week to see how it would work on its own.
After i took out my braids today, it gave me so much volume and hold and i had no frizz! Honestly amazing and i believe the fact that this had only natural ingredients like glycerin & the lavender essential oil is what really kept my hair moisturized throughout the week and prevented my scalp from itching throughout the week too! I’m so glad that I’ve been introduced to this brand all my opinions are my own !.

So when I first received this box. I was excited for hair care product but when I opened it and saw how thick the leave in conditioner was and I was a little bit worried that it might weigh my hair down or make it look extra greasy even though I don’t have thin hair or ever have that issue.
I have wavy hair. It’s like 2c maybe 2b on some days and it’s very thick, dry and breaks a lot. I am constantly looking for products to strengthen my hair without overdoing it on the chemicals. my hair needs very little before it will start to get greasy so I try to keep my products as minimal as possible.
I decided to try this right away and have actually been using it for about 3 weeks now and that’s because I fell in love with it. That seems to be a common trope through these things that I test with this app, I fall in love with them and end up a customer for life (I see what you did there Influenster).
I had been using Mark Anthony’s grow long shampoo and conditioner line and up until then I had been using The hask line and also spend some time using Cantu. I spend tons of time on my hair. I go through periods of dying it, keeping a completely natural, shaving it all off, growing it back out, I mean you get it to me.
it’s just hair so I’m willing to play around with it. That being said, I haven’t had longer length hair for a majority of my life; so when I do have long hair it can be a hassle because of how tangled it gets and the dryness split ends breakage and everything else just get to be overwhelming to me usually.
I thought I had found the best product out there with Mark Anthony’s, but after using Maui I went out and purchased another set of the Maui wowie shampoo and conditioner along with the leaving conditioner because my hair has never ever felt better.
I’m not just talking about smoothness, but it is also shiny; it feels tougher and doesn’t seem to be breaking as much it’s not as frizzy overall. I am very happy with this leave in conditioner+ the shampoo/conditioner.

I though and like with 80% of the other products I’ve tried through influenster. I’m sure I’ll be a lifelong buyer of this product. Sorry Mark Anthony Grow Long!.
I really wanted to LOVE THIS but something was off for me. I used this for a full month before reviewing. The smell is the best thing about this smoothie. When first applied it feels like a leave in conditioner and it smells great.
I usually air dry my curls and after putting mouse or oil they will curl naturally on their own into “romantic style†curls. HOWEVER with this smoothie the hair becomes limp heavy wavy and the product is essentially very waxy rather than moisturizing after drying.
I have no curls after using it just a frizzy mess after using this and even by twisting the smoothie into each strand as per the instructions to create curls it does not facilitate curls… the hair needs to be fully washed by the next day.
Additionally this broke me out so so badly. I couldn’t even keep my face on the pillow after using this product. My hair needed to be washed out the next day. Horrible breakouts on my face and back after using this and then they stopped once I stopped using it / stopped sleeping on my hair after putting this smoothie in.
You get a lot of product which is nice but it’s almost causing me more hassle by weighting down my hair and causing the need to wash more frequently and I have to avoid my hair touching my body while using it due to the thick clogging waxiness of it.
There are a few different ways to tame frizzy, curly hair. One is to use a leave-in conditioner. This will help to moisturize your hair and keep it from looking frizzy. Another way to tame frizzy, curly hair is to use a diffuser when you blow dry your hair.
This will help to evenly distribute the heat and prevent your hair from looking frizzy. Finally, you can use a curling iron or flat iron to straighten your hair. This will give you a sleek look that will last all day.
