A hair brush for a blow out is a brush that is designed to help you style your hair while blow drying it. There are different types of brushes that can be used for this purpose, but the most common one is the round brush.
This type of brush will help to create volume and shape while you are drying your hair.

Adjustable airflow lets you control the heat and speed while the titanium barrel gently smooths hair to shiny, frizz-free perfection. Now you can craft the perfect blowout with one easy-to-use styling tool.
I so wanted this to be as fabulous as the demonstrated videos I watched on FB. Apparently the promoter’s so called “fine” hair is not so fine after all. I used all the same products she used and my hair came out with slight volume that went totally flat within 15 minutes.
I had the cheaper version of this volumizing drying brush by “R” and it worked just the same and I returned it to purchase this one because of all the reviews on this product. I gave it a 3 stars rather than a zero because if you want straight hair, this tool will do the job so not a total loss but its a definite no to volume that will last if you have fine hair.
I made a huge purchase for the black Friday deals. I was so excited when the box arrived. I washed my hair using the products I just purchased. I used all the products that were recommended for fine hair to thicken and add volume.
The volumizer product just squirts liquid no foam no matter how long I shook it. The other products did nothing for my hair. All the products I use by “K**ra” work far better than these. Can’t return any thing because they had this small print stating because of this sale no items are returnable.
So buyer beware. If you want to try their products, I suggest reading all the print before you purchase so you can return if it doesn’t work for you. I’ll have to try and sell them to try and recoup some of my money.
I’m new to L’ange, but took the plunge and ordered this 75mm brush. I have always used a round brush and blow dryer, or a cheap electric stying brush, with decent results, so I wasn’t expecting too much of a difference.
I have long, thin, fine hair that only holds volume for about 30 minutes no matter if I use product or not. When my order arrived, very timely, I will say, I was super impressed with the beautiful packaging and immediately gave the volume brush a shot.
My hair was towel dried damp, not dripping. Brush has different bristles than any I have had before – sturdy, but no pulling or tangling, glides through hair easily. This is a noticeable and valuable feature, especially for someone who wishes to keep the hair she has! Brush heats up faster than a gas stove and has several heat settings.
The airflow is strong as well. This brush is big and oval shaped, not round. Adds beautiful, smooth volume, but not tight or defined curl, so it depends on what you are after. I like the oval shape as it let’s me get that bit of poof at the crown of my head.
My hair dried soft, smooth, ends slightly turned under, crown/top of head had just enough body and volume. I used a bit of hairspray and was extremely surprised that I still had “poof” several hours later.
I love this brush and I am so happy I decided to give L’ange a try!.

I just bought this, so I’ve only used it once so far and I am SUPER impressed. My hair is a little past my chin and it was still very easy to use. I think the barrel attachment is still a little too big for how short my hair is, but the brush attachment was great and my hair looks wonderful.
I did only give it 4 stars because I can’t believe how hot this thing gets. It seems overly hot to me. Definitely wouldn’t recommend using every day, and make sure you’re using a good heat protectant.

I didn’t know that I could love a hair brush as much as I love this Kitsch one. Holy moly, it’s a game changer. It’s so light, easy to hold, and brushes SO well. It’s so gentle. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this brush- I’m legit obsessed.
My hair dresser has always used a volumizing blow dry brush on my hair at the salon, but I’ve never used one at home and decided to give it a shot. At first I was worried that it would get stuck in my super long hair, but much to my surprise, it was pretty simply to use and get the hang of.
It does a great job at adding some much needed volume to my sad flat hair. It doesn’t make my hair frizzy, and helps cut down on the dry time but lifting my hair up and away from my scalp. Its really easy to hold, seems well made, and the bristles don’t hurt my hair.
Ideal for long and wavy hair types, our large vented blow-dry hairbrush guarantees natural volume, smoothness and serious shine in no time, and in this Lilac Cloud shade, it’s a hairbrush as dreamy as your look.
Our patented teeth technology and unique configuration quickly dries the hair, reduces pulling and delivers a healthier blow dry at home. See how the teeth are bottle-shaped? Combining them with our innovative vents helps turn up the volume whilst leaving you with a frizz-free salon-worthy style – and the larger pad means that long hair gets all the attention it deserves – with no sacrifice on speed.

O M G! I cannot afford to keep up with influencers however this AMIKA brush is amazing! I have thick, curly, frizzy, and wavy hair. In order to straighten it I have to blowdry it with a round brush blow-drier, then spend at least 20-30 minutes sweating (and I mean sweating!) in my bathroom to flatten my hair.
Sometimes I can get the roots and sometimes I’m just too hot and tired to do them, so my hair sometimes will have a slight ridge. I bought this Amika brush/iron after seeing an influencer’s video, it just arrived and my hair looked like a lion’s mane! When I used the Amika tool, I couldn’t believe how easy it was to use and how quickly it heats up.
My hair looks like I just stepped out of the salon! The influencer was right, it does give you a definite blowout look and makes your hair so smooth without frying the heck out of it! I went to ask my son something after I straightened my hair and he asked me when I went to the salon! LOL, he knows the struggles I go through with my hair, and for him to notice that says a lot! Thanks to the influencer for the great recommendation, I would have never known about this great product.
This literally is the best $100 I spent! I purchased it from QVC on flex pay!.
This product could easily be the best product I’ve ever used. but it’s not. Being a cosmetologist, I know a bit about hair and what to do with it. I purchased this product for myself at a State Beauty Supply which is a store for professional stylists.
I have fine, above the shoulders hair and was so excited to try this product! It ALMOST is great. But just simply falls short. It has quite a flimsy little on and off switch. The bristles are too few and they are also just a little too short.
Because of this, the product does not grab the hair and hold it like a round brush does. The whole point in using this product over the option of a styling wand is because it’s supposed to grip the hair and be movable/twistable to give a blow out appearance.
However the bristles are cheap, short, and sparse. making it essentially a wand. Worst of all, I’m not being permitted to exchange or return it due to having used it 2 times. which I obviously had to to in order to realize it is a let down of a very expensive tool.
I can’t believe how cheaply this product is made compared to the price tag. If I’d bought it at a discount store for $20 I’d have still thought it was kind of a waste of money, but would at least be less salty about it.
Problems: -Sad bristles (see photo) The bristles have absolutely no density to them. Some of the giant holes in the barrel only have one or two bristles in them, and it’s not enough to properly grab your hair to hold it against the barrel.
My hair is fine and this won’t grab it at all. -Uneven heating The barrel is cheap metal and definitely has hot spots. If you actually could get the brush to grab your hair, I’m afraid it would burn it.
-Sad cord (see photo) The cord on this is disappointing. It feels like a cheap lamp cord from the 50’s. Very thin. This is always worrisome on hair tools since they tend to draw a lot of current, but also because they tend to break internally when they kink and cause the whole thing to fail.
That is, if it worked in the first place. Also it has a swivel, but the swivel is poorly designed so unless you’re holding the brush at a specific angle it won’t twirl. I included a photo of a cord on a curling iron I bought at the same price point for comparison.
-Overall poor quality So let’s say this buddy worked and didn’t singe your hair off or melt its own cord in the process. It still feels. So. Cheap. I recently ordered some hair products and got a free beachwaver as a GWP and it feels leagues more well-made than this does.
When I say cheap I mean that I’m afraid when I slide the button that it’s just going to fall off, or that if the unit rolled off my counter that it would shatter. So, overall extremely disappointed. I’m honestly never going to buy another Amika tool after this as I just can’t trust I’ll receive a product worth the price.

I am in shock. I have tried nearly every type of hair styling devices imaginable, even that old rotating hairbrush used in conjunction with a traditional dryer. I always resorted back to a round brush and hair dryer.
Ive honestly gotten so good with blowouts over the years that I rarely needed to add in a flat iron finish. The past few years I stopped straightening and went back to my naturally curly 3a style, only busting out the blow dryer once or twice a year.
From wet to straight, shoulder length, would take me about an hour to blowout given its coarseness and density. This Revlon dryer kept popping up, and I finally decided to try it, fully expecting to return it.
I thought it might cut down my hair styling time by five or ten minutes, which isnt really worth the investment, in my opinion. I was so, so wrong. I wasnt ready for a wash, so I decided to just wet a single strand to see how it worked.
It came out nice, straight and shiny–great. But, a single strand proves little. Out of curiosity, I decided to try it on a dry strand of hair. My hair was stretched smooth at the roots from air drying in a tight wrap but pretty curly/wavy at the ends.
Normally if I attempted to use a blow dryer and round brush on my naturally air dried hair, I would expect to get considerable frizz, denting, and strange lumpy/rigid bits. I cant even use a flat iron on my air-dried hair for the same reasons.
It is really stubborn unless styled from wet. I picked a nice fat chunk of dry hair, because I didnt come to play. I applied the Revlon dryer, and in seconds, the strand went from poofy to sleek. I felt a strange sort of veneration after this.
I pulled out my phone to time myself. I still expected it would take me 20-30 minutes to get my entire head done, and that I might struggle with smoothing out the more unruly bits. This is the honest to God truth.
It took less than ten minutes. I stood petting my sleek hair, mouth agape, for another ten minutes, just to run out the timer, you.
I never knew how other women can maneuver both a brush and a hairdryer at the same time. Maybe it’s a simple task for most people, but it’s never been easy for me. That’s why I needed this product. I think it’s an ingenious invention! I have very fine hair that tangles easily, so brushing repeatedly while drying is a must to prevent it from drying up into a big tangle.
I will say, this device is quite bigger than expected and rather heavy however, once you get used to maneuvering it, it’s really very intuitive. Just hold out/onto sections of your hair and brush from top to bottom, repeatedly.
It helps to separate the hair in layers, too. This device gets the job done fairly quickly with minimal tangling. A final note of caution: The high mode gets surprisingly hot… I’d say it’s closer to the heat level of a hair straightener than a blow dryer.
So be very careful not to touch the brush part OR the upper handle with your fingers while it’s on high heat. Keep your grip on the lower handle. I am very satisfied with this product and plan to continue using it exclusively…goodbye, blow dryer!.
I rarely blow dry my hair – yes, out of laziness, but also not wanting to damage it more than I already do. I like the brush and its easy to section the hair. I had another one that broke – dryer itself kinda broke and made this squealing noise – so bought another one.
Im guessing I had the first one for a year or so, so maybe the quality isnt as good b/c, as mentioned above, I wasnt using it every day. One thing I dont like is the the ease to use it. There are three settings – cool, med, hot.
I tend to start with hot to get the hair straightened or curled and then set it to cool to kinda lock it in. The PITA part is trying to switch it without accidentally shutting it off. The switch is in the base and you twist it to get to the right setting.
Its more annoying than anything else. Otherwise, I really like it – again, Im lazy and like using this instead of a flat iron which I know will DEFINITELY damage the hair. I do spray on some of that stuff thats supposed to protect your hair before I use it.
Also, I tend to wait until my hair air dries a bit before using – its not a tool you can use like a traditional hair dryer to wave around to get the excess water out, you need to use the brush.
Commitment Issues Interchangeable Air Brush comes with five different interchangeable brush heads, two speeds, and three heat settings, making it ideal for all hair types. With just one tool, you’ll be able to straighten, curl, add body, volume, movement, and texture while drying hair quickly.
The ergonomic design, effortless temperature adjust, and 360 degree swivel cord makes it much less cumbersome than other blow drying brushes on the market. Not only does the use of indirect heat minimize damage, the negative ions help to tame frizz, add shine, and smooth hair for the perfect blowout.
Say hello to your new favorite styling tool! You’ll want to be sure your hair is at least 80% dry when using the boar hair brush head. Please refer to the user manual for product information prior to use.
Although I love Head Kandy products, the Commitment Issues was a big disappointment. It didn’t go through my hair smoothly (both the small and larger head) and the way it was made wasn’t as easy to use.
Just a FYI, I have the same brush from L’ange, round Titanium Brush Dryer and their brush is made better. The top of the brush has a smaller round piece so you can twirl your hair easier. It was also easier to hold.
I wanted to love this product but I couldn’t and returned it because it wasn’t as easy to use. My hair is not anything different, just regular Bob style. And I have to say while I am writing to you, I love your Sidekick even better than the One Upper.
I also think your other hair products are wonderful. Just thought I’d share some honest thoughts about the Commitment Issues in case you’ve had any of the same comments. Thank you for listening.
I never leave reviews, but I decided to try this dryer and immediately regretted it! After the first use my hair was frizzy and damaged. It ruined months of great hair care, even on the low/medium setting.
It takes a half hour to dry THIN hair, the curl is nonexistent, and I was left with frizzy hair regardless of the attachment used. For the price, it is absolutely not worth it, and their return policy is ridiculous.
How can you know if you like a hair product until it is used, but it can only be returned in new condition? Also, a $20 restocking fee is charged in addition to the return shipping you need to pay for.
They basically force you to keep a terrible product. Only good thing going for it is the cute print.
This tool does not do a good job of smoothing when compared to my Revlon Volumizing Brush/Dryer/Styler. This tool DOES get hot, but it is VERY problematic for two reasons. One reason is you can not comfortably hold the end of the attachment to help twist you hair because the plastic is just too hot to touch.
Second, because the attachment is too HOT, it is VERY uncomfortable to change out the attachments because the one you just used is too hot to remove! The power behind this tool is what I would call low volume output.
IF I wind up using this tool it will be to style my hair after I dry it COMPLETELY with my Revlon tool, then use this to curl my hair. No, I get nothing from Revlon-it is just a GREAT tool!.

Styling brush for medium to long hair. Tangle Teezer Blow Styling Round Tool Large assists in drying without pulling or damaging the strands. Provides light waves and curves, eliminates frizz and brings more shine.
PERFECT made with very light material, it dries fast and doesn’t break the hair. My hair is very fine, no strands get stuck in the brush due to breakage. Leaves my hair straight without effort. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
I already have the round brush from Tangle Teezer, and thought I’d try the paddle brush as well. I like that there is a space between brush bristles and I can clean it easier. I think this is definitely for long hair.
I have a long bob, and I couldn’t brush it enough. keeping it for sure as I grow my hair longer.
I bought this tangle teezer brush because I really struggle with knotty hair and tangles whilst suffering really badly getting head sore when brushing and drying. Having used tangle teezer brushes in the past I thought this would be great.
I was wrong, it’s horrible. It’s a really hard none Flexible brush. My hair snags and rips. There is no detangling at all. Perhaps it isn’t supposed to detangle but the name and other products made me think that was their speciality.
I’ve not managed to fully dry my hair with this as it’s too sore and not nice to use. I have shoulder blade length thick wavy hair. If you’re like me I do not recommend.
For blow-dry styling all hair lengths and textures. Vents let airflow reach hair for faster blow-dry styling. Ball-tipped bristles lift hair for maximum fullness. Ideal to use with straight hair styles.
A hairdryer and a brush all in one, the StyleDryer lets you blow dry your hair while styling it into a smooth, polished look using either of the two attachments. Includes 1 StyleDryer Pro, 1 Oval Brush Attachment and 1 Styling Brush Attachment.
I was at the end of the line when the hair styling gene was being handed out and have been envious of others who have hair that was obviously not wash and go. Now that I am over a certain age the hair is thinning a bit and I overall require a little more effort before facing the world each day.
I thought this would be the answer. A round or paddle brush and hairdryer all in one nifty appliance! I will say it is made well. The handle is non slip and fits in my hand well. The oval styling head and the flat styling head click onto the end of the nozzle firmly and stay on.
There are heat settings that range from high to low to a cold setting that are adjusted with a ring that turns in the handle. All very convenient, lightweight and attractive. I bought the set for longer hair as my hair is longer than shoulder length.
Well- it dries my hair well without scorching and the combination of plastic fingers and bristles in the styling head leave my hair smooth and without tangles. Which is great! I will be able to dry my hair without the snarls and snags I get from conventional hair dryers and go out into the cold Wisconsin mornings with dry hair.
However, and it is likely my lack of hairstyling gene coming into play here, I can’t do anything in the way of styling my hair. The head is too big to get a nice turned under wave at the bottom of my hair, or do anything with my bangs, or either blend or separate my layers, or do the round brush thing that stylists do when they they give you a bad haircut and do t want you to know it u til the next time you wash your hair.
So the styling part…. ’meh. But it does dry hair well without frying it, is. lightweight, quiet and easy to use. I would recommend it though.

Finally! The brush of my dreams! I happen to be one of The Dry Bar’s most frequent customers because I have never been able to give myself a decent blow out. I am unable to manage the round brush in one hand while holding the hair dryer in the other.
Ulitmately, the round brush gets stuck in my hair or my ends are not smooth, so I mainly used a flat brush for the majority of the blow out then tried to smooth out the ends some other way. This brush is exactly what I had always imagined would be the perfect solution, but did not know it existed until I found it on the shelf at Ulta.
It has made a significant difference in the finished look of my hair and the amount of time it takes to finish drying my hair. I no longer dread doing my own hair. Thank you for inventing a life-changing brush!.
Influenster review: I have very mixed feelings about this one. I have been using it for the last 6 months. There is a major learning curve to it. I feel like I can never really get my hair as straight as i like with this brush.
I have a few other spornette brushes that I love, this is the only one I am not very excited about. This will dry your hair very fast b cause of the surface area but it doesn’t give the same smoothness that a round rush will.
I think it is worth a try because there are great products for everyone out there but I would try one (a friends) b fore you buy if possible. This is very expensive. I wouldn’t repurchase again but I know there are a lot of people who really love this brush and would.
I can’t get enough of this brush. I’m a licensed hairstylist in cosmetology. And every client that wants straight volume with or without body this brush is the one. It cuts blowout time by almost half.
Drys hair quickly and leave hair smooth and polished. I recommend this brush for anyone looking for a certain look. This brush gives curls as well and works on all hair types. (1a to 4c).
Up to 50% better heat transfer (Metal barrel provides up to 50% better heat transfer when compared to Conair plastic round brushes). No. 1 hairbrush brand (Source: IRI Scan data based on dollar sales through 3/7/21).
High-speed style. Vents allow airflow from blow-dryer to reach hair for fast drying & styling. Smooth & straighten or curl & wave hair. Professional-quality results. Contains 10% copper coating. Made in China.
I have thick, curly hair. Usually this type of brush spells nightmare for me and gets stuck. Not with this brush! It is so easy to use, and hold. Not hard to use at all! Plus, it dries my hair nice and straight and without being fluffy! Huge win for me! I will definitely use this brush a ton! [The author of this review received a free sample of this product].
Although I still need some more skill-up for quickly drying the very end of my curly long hair, it enables quick hair-dry as making the large curls, adding shines, and the feels like getting coated on surface to prevent tangles; and even the ends which had small irregular curls look more regularly curled, so that it can reduce the occasions of cutting my hair at hairdresser! And also I can use weaker mode to get less heat, which is good for summer and hair!.
Professional blend of anti-static coated nylon and boar bristles glide easily through the hair, reducing frizz and producing incredible shine. Ceramic brush barrel and handle are securely reinforced to maintain structure and longevity.
The seamless, one-piece, soft touch handle prevents hair from catching and pulling while supporting grip. Long, weighted handle creates proper balance, reducing wrist strain and increasing control to easily master perfect blow outs every time.
This brush is the BEST! I lost mine on a trip out of town. I think it must have fallen out of my purse in the back seat of my brother’s rental car. So I went to Ulta to find a replacement. They didn’t have any brushes that would compare.
When I got back home, I was able to track this one down. I ordered one immediately and it was delivered in a very timely manner. I’m thinking about ordering another one to have as a back up – just in case!.
The Wet Brush’s IntelliFlex bristles are super thin, strong and flexible. These bristles will glide through any hair type combing out tangles effortlessly. The bristles’ flexibility enables protective and pain-free detangling while the SofTips on the very top of the bristles massage the scalp to stimulate circulation at the follicle.
They are firm enough to comb through knots, yet flexible enough to be gentle on the scalp. IntelliFlex bristles bounce back to their original form after each stroke eliminating all the hair breakage and pain that used to be associated with brushing your hair.
The Wet Brush can be used on wet or dry hair and works on extensions and wigs.
I love this brush. I don’t use regular dryers often but when I do I use this brush. It doesn’t snag or break my hair and it drys quickly and shiny. Wet brush products are the best hands down! I would recommend this to anyone with unruly hair or even fine hair that breaks easily.
Still getting the hang of it but love the vent feature. Has been the only round brush that hasn’t gotten stuck in my hair. The only thing I wish it had was a handle that had a grip on it. It often can be hard to spin.
Sleek and smooth is what you will get with this brush. Designed with intelliflex bristles to glide through the hair, detangling away while the boar bristles style and deliver shine to the hair. Its helix spiral pattern allows the hair to glide with ease and creates the perfect amount of tension to style coarse or very curly hair.
This brush was recommended to me by my hairstylist & I immediately bought it & use it all the time. I was drying my hair and I had paint chips on my hands and the floor & I have never seen this happen to any of my other brushes & was really shocked.
The brush itself is great because I have color treated hair and with the boar bristles it is less damaging. The paint is coming off the entire handle & yeah I can still use it but every time I do I have to sweep/ vacuum afterwards.
This brush was pricey and I’ve had my other ” different brand ” brushes for years & they have not done this. I’m going to see if Ulta or the company will replace.
I have super fine, stick straight, easily tangled, easily static, limp hair. i never found a round brush I could use before this one. I struggle with blow out technique and this makes it quick and easy.
I think it’s crazy they market this to coarse hair because it’s perfect for just the opposite. Most round brushes easily tangle and snag my hair or won’t grip it at all. This rarely tangles never snags and has tight grip so I can actually get some tension and bend.
I was never able to get bent or fluffy bangs before this brush. It doesn’t scrape my scalp the way other round brushes usually do. Builds volume, separates strands, and gives long holding bend that lasts for 2 days even without product which is unheard of on my hair.
In a pinch I can even use it to brush tangles out of my wet hair even though i still prefer a wet paddle for that. The only thing I don’t like is that when I use it dry it can leave a little static but certainly not the worst out there.
Works best with an ionic dryer. Last forever, I’ve had it for a year and it’s still brand new. Easy to clean with a rat tail or pencil. Oh and I never comment unless I love it or hate it lol.
Crying as I write this. Used it for the first time and my hair got into such a big knot it took 4 hours to get out. Gave me a full blown anxiety attack. The boat bristles just matt hair to the brush and making a giant wad of a knot.
Scariest beauty product iv ever encountered. Lost giant clumps of my beautiful hair. For context I am 27 and have been blow drying my hair for over 10 years. The only thing that works to remove this piece of trash from my head was pliers.
We had to remove each bristle one by one. Do NOT BUY OR GIFT!!!!.
A good hair brush for a blow out should have natural bristles that are stiff enough to grab the hair, but not too stiff that they damage the scalp. The bristles should also be spaced out evenly so that they can detangle the hair without pulling on it.
The brush should also have a comfortable handle that is easy to grip.
