These are very high quality durable and useful gates. There are tiny rubber pads under so you know which side to grab after putting away and the ease of the hinges are excellent. They are heavy enough to let the pet know it’s stable and it’s not a easy move with a nose plus the size and amount of panels make the setting of your area customized to the fit.

I actually will buy more so I can use them out on the patio. Our dog understands boundaries and seems satisfied to see us until the entry is opened. I bought one brown which is a nice dark walnut color brown and a white one which both have a nice what I would describe as an enameled type gloss finish for protective wear.

You won’t be disappointed however if you’re looking for a stoppage barrier this is simply a sturdy boundary maker so you would need a secured gate or kennel for that.

I have ordered 2 of these gates on separate occasions. Both times the orders came very quickly. These gates have been perfect for keeping my large dog from going upstairs (she sometimes gets into trouble on our upstairs carpet when we are not at home) and for keeping my senior dog from going downstairs (she is prone to falling periodically).

This works great for dogs that wont try to push or break through, as its freestanding. I appreciate having a gate option that wont tear up the wall, looks nice, and is tall enough so that my dogs wouldnt attempt to jump over.

Be careful unwrapping and touching these pet gates! Some of the slats have unfinished wood so there are chips, sharp fragments and missing stain. Regardless, because of the design and ease of use, I want to keep the 2 Petmaker gates I bought online so I brought them to the store to discuss the options.

I think covering the bad parts with a Guardsman wood marker and sanding the rough spots will “fix” the problems. The manager said to just return them and order new ones. Unfortunately, after the inconvenience of having to carry the big boxes back to the store, getting splinters and waiting for the new gates to arrive, the replacements were delivered and are no better! I’d still like to keep the gates but to make them usable-sand and paint them first.

I don’t mind the work, but feel it would have been appropriate for the manager to at least provide the wood markers (sold at BBB) and/or offer an additional discount; he declined. So, I am recommending the product but with a caveat.

you’ll need to sand and paint/stain the unfinished parts if you want smooth wood and a decent look. *If your pet will not actually touch it and you are careful when you open and place it as a barrier, it will work well for you.

It’s great that it can stand on it’s on and be moved easily. It’s such a shame the quality is so “cheap. “.

I am very pleased with this barrier. It was important to me that I could see through my rear view mirror, as some barriers I read about blocked some of the view. My German shepard dog was constantly trying to get on the console from the back seat and I was afraid she was going to scratch or poke a hole in it, or worse cause a wreck.

This thing is AMAZING! She doesn’t even try, she just lays on the back, somewhat defeated, but we will be safer in the long run. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to keep your pups out of the front of the car!.

This fit perfectly in a 2020 F150 Crewcab. Clear view through rear view mirror, and our dogs are safely kept in the back. It was easy to assassemble and install. I highly recommend this product.

This item fit our Lexus SUV perfectly. We moved and drove 2 days with 2 cats in the back. Worked perfectly. Very easy to install and remove. Highly recommend. The cats clawed at the material, but held up perfectly, can’t even tell.

I have an 8 pound 9 year old long hair Chihuahua mix she is highly allergic to. well it feels like everything! But in reality she suffers from a lot of allergies we think she may even be allergic to freshly cut grass she has allergies to chicken and beef which gives her ear infections.

Also flea and tick control medicine that she takes orally causes her skin to break out with big scabs and she pulls her hair out for the full 30 days with big hot spots,, then when it is dissolves out of her system she’s back to being her normal relaxed self.

needless to say after a lot of agonizing experiences and a ton of money I hope this review will help someone out there experiencing these frustrations and heartaches. since she was five years old we have tried to stay on a certain food that is made in Canada that we order online called Performatrin Ultra of course minus all chicken and beef.

And we only give her Frontline Flea and Tick drops which she tolerates very well. She takes a joint treat for hip and Joint movement so she can get up the stairs like a puppy and of course a heartworm medicine called Inceptor you get from a vet.

And the only treats for her teeth are Dentallife by Purina the spongy ones. If your the fence, I would recommend trying Frontline. Especially if your dog has allergies and has skin issues like my dog has! I wouldn’t recommend any oral flea medicine for dogs with skin sensitivity.

And I would only put it on every 5-6 weeks during the season of fleas.

My small indoors only dog has a mild flea outbreak and I purchased this because of it’s claim to be fast acting. It’s been two weeks and although she is scratching less, I do still pick off fleas here and there when I find them.

This product doesn’t work fast enough to kill them all, but at least there is a three month supply for the stubborn fleas. She doesn’t have any ticks so don’t know how well they would’ve worked on those.

For faster flea removal I recommend cap star pill and the frontline that repels the mosquitos too. I haven’t used that one in a long time but I feel it worked better and was stronger than this product.

Vials are easy to apply once a month between the shoulder blades and onto skin by parting the hair, are pretty decent priced but just wished it worked better a lot quicker!.

Messy to apply. My dogs have a thick undercoat so it is hard to get product directly on the skin, especially when they are squirmy puppies. Once applied, their fur acted as a sort of siphon and sucked the product to the outer coat where it stayed greasy and damp for some time.

The next application I was more careful and didn’t have as much of that problem. Both times though, we still found the occasional flea. My pets weren’t actually infested but we were pre-empting. It didn’t work.

The last straw was our dog-sitter finding ticks on my girl’s ears. I want my money back.

This is not worth the full price. I got it on sale for more than half off, and that’s the only reason I’m keeping it. The panels aren’t alinged properly, so it wobbles a bit. The wood wasn’t finished before painting, so painted splinters hang off in places.

If you aren’t looking at it close up, it looks fine. It will serve its purpose well enough. It is very lightweight, so if your pet will lean on it or apply pressure in any way, it will tip over. But my scaredy-cat dog will see it and not touch it, so it’ll work for him.

We purchased this item in anticipation of using it in a few months when we neuter our dog, to prevent him from removing stitches on his own. Since Fergus is a 160# Irish Wolfhound, I had some trouble finding a product that may fit the boy! Since this boy has only one testicle in the proper position, there will be a search process going on to locate and remove the second testicle; hence 2 surgical sites.

While undergoing the surgery, he will also have his stomach tacked to his abdominal wall to lessen any possibility of torsion. Hence, he will have several surgical sites to work on. This will take quite a garment indeed, to fulfill our needs.

Luckily, this garment is designed for a Giant breed! The suit does fit him at this point. He FILLS the suit. with NO gapping, and some stretching. But we think this will be our solution. We will try to remember to send a post surgical photo!.

This is a GREAT product! I was afraid our Cavaliere King Charles Spaniel, Charlie, would hate it , but we had to figure out something that would help our daughter and granddaughters with allergies around him when we visit.

To our amazement, he was just fine with both putting it on and with wearing it! AND the allergies were MUCH better with Charlie’s fur and dander contained inside his, oh so fashionable, Shed Defender! 🎉❤️🎉 Now our daughter who is NOT allergic to him would also like Charlie to wear his Shed Defender at her house, so she has less fur flying all over the place when we visit.

As a Malinois/shepherd, I shed like crazy all the time. My owner thought this would help control the hair in our car rides. I weigh 85 pounds so we went with the XXL and the “sport” style. It is very snug around the chest and back but I look like a gangsta rapper in the hind quarters.

It is so loose in that area that it slips down my thigh and knee and binds my legs so much that I can’t straighten the legs. I have worn in 3 times for 30 minute rides and have fallen 5 times into the floor board of the back seat and couldn’t get up.

I hate this thing so much I don’t even want to get in the car anymore. A size down would have been too tight in the chest and neck. Fortunately my owner loves me more than a clean car and we are so done with the Shed Defender! Quality is good, design is bad, product is way over priced.

We got this in order to provide more room for our senior 20lb dog while we were at work. She is fairly calm and not that big, so I don’t have any worries about her knocking it over. It is a bit flimsy and a bigger, stronger dog would probably not stay contained.

We call it her “room”, and it’s big enough for her water bowl, food bowl, bed and space to move and stretch. I also got a fabric topper to give it a roof of some sort(we currently have it set up as the 4×4 combo).

It’s set up in our living room, so maybe it would be sturdier if it was used outside with stakes. The rise in the door way is a bit high for our smaller dog, so we may make something so she doesn’t have to lift her legs as high.

Overall, I’m pleased with this.

Good quality for an excellent price. This is very well constructed and is surprisingly easily handled by one person. The entire pen is secured with two included hooks and then can be configured to any shape necessary.

This size should provide adequate space for small dogs to enjoy for quite play. The height of this particular size may be overkill for small dogs unless they are agile jumpers. I ordered this for my greyhound for leisurely sunning without needing a leash.

The height is adequate but the interior space is just enough for her outdoor bed and her body. I will order another two to provide more area for investigating the outdoors next spring.

This could be designed better. The design of the pen is bulky. It would be nice if you could change the set up. If you don’t attach the ends together, you can use the pen as a gate to cover an opening.

However, you cannot separate the panels, and the “gate” panel is at the end of the long sections. This means that you have to have all 6 panels and the gate panel may not be at the right section for your walk way.

If you could separate the panels and attach them customize their position and length, that would be so much more convenient. The clips that are included are also very small, and it makes it difficult to clip the gate to a crate.

Giving it 3 stars because we still use it , but it’s not a delightful product.

If you have a reactive dog/dog that pulls on the lead you NEED to get this head collar. I have a 7 month old lab. She is a good girl, but she is very reactive to other dogs and people. I had tried, and tried, and tried, to get her to walk nicely on the lead.

I tried so many different training techniques, nothing seemed to work. Now she is getting bigger and stronger, and knowing she’s only going to carry on getting even bigger and stronger, it was getting really hard to control her on her normal lead and collar/harness.

Walks were beginning to become a nightmare, and something that I started to dread. I am SO GLAD I found this Halti head collar. I follow a dog training page on Facebook, and they recommended this for reactive dogs, and WOW.

The difference in walking her when she has this head collar on is amazing. I’ve only had it for a week, she still gets excited when she sees other dogs/people, but she doesn’t pull to get to them, or try to lunge herself at them now, she just stays by my side.

It’s really amazing, and SO worth it! Small price to pay if you want your dog to walk nicely next to you, imo. I got a size 2, as the 3 was a bit too big around her snout (obviously she’s not fully grown yet) and that part of the collar isn’t adjustable.

But the strap that goes around the back of the head is adjustable, so you can tighten or slacken that to fit your doggy just right. I would recommend measuring your dog before you buy so you have a better idea of what size to get.

And just a tip, if you’re struggling to get your dog to take to it – reward them with a few of their favourite treats (or a little bit of their normal food/biscuits/etc) as you’re putting it on their face, and after you’ve finished putting it on.

And this will associate the head collar with a good thing for them, which is their food or a treat, and hopefully that makes it a bit easier for you and for your doggy :).

I bought two different Face Halters: The Halti, which was a replacement for a much older style Halti. The other – “Dogs My Love” brand face halter. I have a 12-month old GSD (german shepherd dog). Both were well-made, and both were close in cost.

I’d double-check the measurements, but I must’ve mis-applied the measurement and ordered one-size up with the Halti, thinking there were more possible adjustments. It only strap which is adjustable is the one that secures the halter behind the head.

It was just sloppy-large on him, whereas the “Dogs my love” brand fit him spot-on, with a little room to grow into it. I’m keeping that lesser-known brand and returning the Halti. It’s a good product, I wouldn’t be afraid to try it – it’s well-made with double stitching and a padded nose.

Both brands had a nicely-padded nose band.

Tessa was a rescue – border collie mix with significant pulling issues and dog reactiveness. 3 years I tried trainers and watched tons of training videos and tried harnesses,prong collar to no avail.

A trainer even told me she may not ever be able to stop her behavior since spending her first 6 mos in a shelter. I’m here to say this halter works. She doesn’t or rather can’t pull. When she sees another dog, she wants to go to it but can only wiggle her head in objection to the halter.

I get her focus back to the treats and her heeling and no further issue. No more getting pulled across the yard and down to the ground. I can’t wait until the day she is completely off the halter. We have some time to get there.

Awesome product. I suggest you watch the instructional videos on You Tube by the man who designed this. Best money I ever paid.

I love these pads mainly for the size. I have a playpen for my yorkie puppy and the regular size pads too up to much space. I’m loving the 18X12 size because it is the absolute perfect size for her playpen with her bed, a few favorite toys and her food and water bowl holder.

I think they are perfect for a toy breed or small breed puppy.

My dog has used these pads for years. They are well constructed and fit my pad holder perfectly. They hold up well.

If the idea is to give the puppy something to run around with in their mouth and tear up then great you have succeeded. My puppy will go to the bathroom anywhere but on these and treats it like a toy

I bought this for my wife. I originally ordered pink but was out of stock so they sent me black. No matter because she loves it and it seems to perform well. As a flashlight, anyway. Fortunately, we/she has not needed the stun gun.

I was “shocked” how good the light and taser were. When I watched the video on the listing I assumed it was enhanced but upon receiving this, it works very well. The taser makes a very loud and intimidating crackle.

It makes my kids run and scream out of the room. I am sure any would be threat would turn and go the other way after even just hearing the taser.

This product, I purchased for my wife, it’s small for women to carry in pockets or small purse, the jolt is effective, if used correctly on certain areas of the body for quick results, I’m recommending this product, for self protection.

I found this door to be fine, and I especially like that the dog opening is set lower than on my previous door, so it’s easier for small or elderly pets to use. Most at this price range are pretty much the same otherwise.

The problem came when I needed to replace the flap. Nightmare! You have to remove the existing screws, and 3 of the 5 had the drive in the head completely misshapen – like whoever installed them ground them into a non-useable shape.

They’re very small and trying to use a tiny screwdriver to remove was impossible. I had to use a needle point pliers to remove them. And do you get a set of screws with the new flap? No you don’t! How much would it have cost PetSafe to include 5 tiny screws with a new flap? So I went to the hardware store to get replacements for the 3 that were mangled, and the rest of the removal went smoothly.

Now when you put the new flap in is when you have your next problem. There are no guidelines and there is about 1/4″ of top space you can use. The flap doesn’t fit in any holes. it’s up to you to decide where in that 1/4″ you want to place the top of the flap.

And then, because the flap is in the middle of the panel as the panel lies flat, there is nothing to support the flap, making getting it straight a guessing game. As it happened, I set the flap slightly too low in the space, and so it buckles when the panel is upright.

All in all, flap replacement for me was exhausting and unsatisfactory, and it was the determining factor to try another brand.

I installed this door right away after unpacking it, it fit great and installed very easily. I then spent an hour showing my not-that-smart, 15-year-old dog how to go through the flap. He did not catch on! I was so disappointed, I had high hopes for him being able to let himself out during the day while I am at work, to help avoid accidents now that he is having issues with incontinence.

I took the door back out, planning to return it. But then, before I shipped it out, I decided to give it one more try. I sewed a temporary “training flap” out of an old pillow case, (weighted with rocks sewn in the hem at the bottom to make it hang nicely, lol), and hung it in the opening.

There were small gaps on the sides so you could see out around the flap, and a breeze would blow the bottom inwards a little bit. I pointed my dog’s nose through the new flap a couple times, and he finally figured things out! After 3 or 4 days I re-installed the factory flap and its been great (it has been only a couple days so far).

The door shipped really fast, was easy to install, the flap so far seals well enough to keep the bugs and weather out, and my dogs are happy. If you have a dog who finds the flap too scary or heavy to push through, try putting in a very light-weight flap that they can easily poke their head through – it worked great for me, and once he got in the habit of using the dog door it wasn’t a big deal at all to put the actual magnetized flap back in.

One comment on the size – my dog is about a 45 pound terrier mix, 21″ tall and 8″ wide using the measurements listed on the website. The Large door opening fits him great, but with his arthritis he is somewhat clumsy making it through the door, the lip at the bottom sometimes catches his back feet and makes him stumble.

My other dog, almost the same size but several years younger, doesn’t have any issues with this. The old dog doesn’t let that stop him though, he probably lets himself in and out a hundred times a day now – No joke.

At first I wasn’t sure if the large size was the right choice & was debating whether to get the medium size. I have 4 Poodles & 1 Maltese. 1 poodle (Bandit) is about 7lbs & Is a small toy. I wasn’t sure if the 4 inch raise from the bottom was too tall for his legs to go over through the door.

The largest poodle was about 13 1/2 inch’s tall & would’ve been too small. If the raise on all the doors were the 1 1/2 inch I think it would’ve been perfect. Although that was a dilema before ordering, Bandit gets out just fine over the 4 inch raise.

I absolutely love this door. The door flap occasionally won’t close right , but it’s an The dogs go out whenever they want, which means less presents left for me. I do have another doggie door which was installed on the lanai & my fur babies have been using that door for a few years.

I don’t know why I didn’t think of getting a door for the glass sliding door sooner. It is worth every penny & I’m so glad I bought this door.

Excellent product! This has been great for our 13 year old shih tzu who can escape when needed through the tiny door. Our golden retriever puppy has managed to scale other gates, but the vertical bars have helped thwart her escapes.

Assembly was pretty quick and easy. We now have 2 in the house!.

This is perfect! It keeps my puppy downstairs while letting the cats upstairs to their litter and safe zone. The gate took me maybe 10-15 minutes to set up and it’s very high quality. I have a very determined husky puppy and she hasn’t even gotten it to move an inch.

This gate is perfect! The best feature is the walk through gate! I have wide doorways in my apartment so the extension piece works great. The quality is great. I would definitely recommend this product.

The materials, craftsmanship, fit and finish of this door are all very impressive. The packing was more than adequate, and the door arrived quickly and completely undamaged. Installation was very easy and the instructions were clear.

Our puppies learned to use it fairly quickly, and now have the freedom to come and go when they want. The door is nearly as weather resistant as the sliding door itself, and is a welcome addition to our home.

Highly recommended for applications where a sliding door can be used instead of a conventional hinged door. The only downside is that the opening for humans is a bit small for carrying larger items through, but we have a hinged door nearby that allows us to carry large items in and out.

This is barely more (large) than the normal door. worth every penny. These flaps seal much better than the standard ones and I bet these will last way longer. Seems the one flap ones always seem to quickly warp and have a poor seal.

The construction is really good quality too. this isn’t just a flimsy insert, this is a well constructed door and well sealed dual pane glass. I especially like that you can install this without screws if you so choose.

All in all this seems like it is going to do just as good of a job being energy efficient as my patio door was before. I don’t feel like I am going to have some annoying draft. Definitely a great option that is easily portable and you don’t need to cut a hole in your door/wall.

According to my husband who installed the door, the materials are cheap. At first I didn’t want him to screw it in place, but he ended up doing it to secure it in place. It’s also not good at keeping the cold air out.

I can already tell that our gas bill will be higher this month. It also makes it harder for people to get in and out through the regular sliding door, since the security bar needs to be on all the time to get a good seal.

I really wish I could return it, but unfortunately we’ve already drilled a few holes on it. I definitely do not recommend.

Pretty good for the price

1. i wanted it to put behind the front seats in my ford escape. three “trombone” assemblies are not enough by two. 2. the wing nuts are so small and installed so close to the tubes that it is impossible to get enough torque on them, with your fingers,to keep the “trombones” from sliding during or after assembly.

3. the “trombones have too little friction in that my german shepard just noses them back in into the outer tubes gaining access to the drivers seat. which is what i’m trying to prevent. He is very insistent that he is close to me at all times.

4. there were no support feet included whereas the list of parts shows and lists them. I had to purchase some hardware to make them safe for my interior roof and floor. 5. i would not recommend these to friends at this time.

Good solution for keeping large to medium sized dogs in rear and out of drivers way. You have to put it in place, then check it out with specific dogs. My friends smaller, younger pup tried to squeeze through side so you have to make sure it’s set up for your dogs.

This product is Grrreat!. The directions on how to assemble are perfect. I have two Americian Bulldogs (That’s right, the big bulldogs) and the gate keeps them from roaming from the seat to the back of the car.

I have tried several gates, and they seem to manage to get pass them. This product prevents this from happening. Just try it you’ll love it too!.

I have been using Nexgard for Brownie ( who just turned 16 and is allergic to fleas) for at least four years now. I also use it for my other five small dogs. No adverse reactions ever. I had been using an expensive topical flea preventative which stopped working.

Florida fleas grew immune evidently. I had five small dogs at that point and purchased five Seresto collars at my vet’s. Absolutely useless $75 each at that time. Vet said call Bayer(manufacturer) and I didn’t know if should laugh or cry at what I was told which was use the collar with a topical.

Yeah -if I want to throw away more money and probably kill my dogs instead of the fleas. Switched to Nexgard and haven’t seen a flea since. Yes – it gets expensive but it’s worth it.

Nexgard is amazing if you live in the south with relentless fleas. I have two dogs and the one that can tolerate it, it’s fantastic. However, on the day of administering she’s always lethargic and has no appetite.

After day one, she’s good to go. My second dog can’t tolerate Nexgard. It caused seizures and I’m so grateful that once it was out of his system, the seizures stopped. After bringing this up at the dog park it turns out that this is all to common and those I spoke to weren’t so lucky.

There are always side effects with medications and it’s not something that always gets discussed but be aware. You don’t know until you know. For my dog that had issues, we’re using a collar and a natural spray and hoping for the best.

I purchase this product for my 13 year old – 5 pound 2 ounce Chihuahua. I started purchasing from Petmeds because my Vet has been having supply issues, and wanting to change my Fur babies medication to different medications every month to every 3 months.

Considering my Fur babies age and possible complications in constant changing of medications I decided that Petmeds was a better option for our Family. I also like that there are some savings involved with purchasing from Petmeds than purchasing from my Vet.

Petmeds also includes a treat for my Fur baby, however I do have to break it into several smaller pieces. Maybe consider a treat for a small Fur baby instead of one that would be more appropriate for my larger German Shepherd Siberia Husky Fur baby.

We have 6 Brittanies, and used to have 9 between 2017 and 2019. Before that, in 2002, we had one male who sired puppies with 2 females at the same time. That made the count go to 20 Brittanies for about 6 months! In all that time, none of our dogs have had a flea or a tick bothering them! We have used Nexgard for many years on all of our dogs and puppies, and we’ve had our own dogs since 2000, as well as dogs during our childhood years.

That means all of our dogs have been flea and tick free, thanks to Nexgard!.

I used tri…tablets for plea and tick and heart warm. before over years. I have hard time let’s him eat. It’s so big. I have to cut haft. But so hard I have to open his mouth to put him eat stuck in with cheese.

But he know later he won’t eat any more. He pitched out. May be flavored too. Then I try drop. Oh no. Not work on my curly hair. He’s got plea. Then I try nexguard. I’m very surprise. It’s small not only that but my dog eat it.

He’s chew like candy. I’m surprised myself. I did try 6 months already. I have no problem. Giving him. Now less worries how to give him medication each months. Expensive but it’s work. I feel better sleep better not worry my house get infested.

And he’s feel better I feel better too. We all love our pet. We do want them have better thing for them as we can. I do like this nexguard I will continue order for my dog. I do recommend if any dog hard to take other products.

Have been purchasing this medication for approximately 15 years with consistent positive protection for my pets.

This would get zero stars from me if I could. I understand it’s our dog and not the product. But really. Vets pushing a product that nearly killed our dog and this is no joke! Worst of all, I was the one that put it all together and figured it out.

We moved and had to find a new vet. Found one that we all liked. It was time to get heartworm and flea and tic meds. Vet was sold on Nexgard. (Nextguard). We have our dog the first dose. A couple days later, she had diarrhea and was constantly whining to go out.

She stopped eating unless handled or she would eat a little chicken. She laid around day and night and became very lethargic. Every test you can imagine was done. Nothing! I even asked the vet if he thought it might be from the Nexgard.

NO. After about 3 weeks she was doing a little better. Next month another dose and here we go again! She lost 10 pounds, bumps all over her. I think that was lymph nodes. She looked awful. I hand fed her daily.

She struggled to go to the bathroom and grunted the entire time she tried and it was gross, slimy, diarrhea. I really thought we’d lose her. I started reading on Nexgard and finally found an article about someone’s dog with the exact same thing going on.

We stopped using it and went back to Bravecto. Our dog is back. Fully recovered! I will never again change something for her that is working. I only hope someone finds this review to save your family member.

Better yet. I wished this never happened to anyone else. Heart wrenching.
