A grind and brew coffee maker is a type of coffee maker that first grinds whole coffee beans and then brews a fresh pot of coffee. This type of coffee maker is ideal for coffee lovers who want to enjoy a freshly brewed pot of coffee without having to grind the beans themselves.
20 Best Grind And Brew Coffee Maker Single Cup
1. Capresso 10-Cup Coffee Maker with Burr Grinder
Automatically grind fresh whole beans immediately before brewing, which is essential to preserve the best flavor of the coffee.
Easy To Clean.
The removable clear cover allows you to check the flow of the ground coffee and makes it extremely easy to clean the grinder channel.
Slow grinding of the burrs imparts minimal heat, retaining more aroma than the blade grind, as well as allowing for a finer and more uniform grind.
Details This compact coffee-maker-and-coffee-grinder-in-one machine features a steel conical burr grinder for flavorful bean to cup brewing plus convenient functions like adjustable brew strength and volume control to let you custom-brew 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups.
Capresso CoffeeTEAM GS 10-Cup. Dimensions: 9. 75′′ D x 9. 5′′ W x 15. 5′′ H. Weighs 9 lb.
This is my second Capresso Coffee Team coffee maker. The first one lasted 15 years. This coffee maker does it all! You can use ground coffee or grind your beans for fresh coffee. It has 5 choices for how coarse or fine you would like to grind your beans.
It has a charcoal filter. It’s programmable – even for the grinding of the beans – and has an auto shutoff. Plus it is compact and fits on the counter without taking up a lot of space. You can’t find this type of quality just anywhere.
In my research before buying, I found out that Jura AG of Switzerland,, a well known and reputable company in the coffee industry, owns Capresso.
The program brew is really unreliable. It may work just fine one day, but the next, with no settings changed, it may only grind 4 beans. Literally 4 beans. Several of the parts feel cheaply made, so cheaply made that we take extra care when opening and closing the water reservoir and when opening or closing the thermos coffee pot.
The heating element only warms while the coffee is brewing. Personally, as the thermos is insulated, I didn’t think this was a big deal, but the thermos doesn’t not stay warm for long; extra warmth from the heating element is really needed.
If one of us makes coffee, and an hour later, the other one goes for a cup, we can’t put milk in it because it’s already on the verge of being too cool to drink. I don’t believe this coffee maker is going to last long.
Either it’s parts are going to break down quickly, or out of frustration, it’s going in the trash.
We purchased this coffee maker to replace a broken Krups coffee maker. Price was better and features looked identical. Item arrived quickly but with a missing piece – the drip nozzle accompanying the brew basket.
This would make it impossible to brew coffee. Upon further inspection, we also found the coffee maker had coffee grinds inside it and inside the box itself, which indicated it was already used in some capacity.
Initiated a refund and returned to local store. Disappointed.
Make single cups of coffee your way with this Hamilton Beach FlexBrew coffee maker. It uses either K-Cups or ground beans to create a morning cup of java, and the cup rest adjusts for 10 oz cups or 14 oz travel mugs.
This versatile Hamilton Beach FlexBrew coffee maker produces both regular and bold strength beverages.
I bought this based off an article I read about best coffee makers with multiple factors brought into consideration. There are pros and cons to this pot. For one, I like that it is slim and doesn’t take up a lot of space-my coffee bar looks less crowded now.
Another thing I like is how hot the coffee gets, my keurig never got this hot-I always had to reheat in the microwave before adding creamer. The main thing I do not like about this maker is that you have to put in the exact amount of water you want to come out as coffee which means I have to fill my cup to wear it wanting my coffee to go and then pour it into the basin usually causing a water spill because I’m trying to pour water out of a big mug into a little basin.
(All my cups are different sizes and I can’t put in the effort to memorize the size of them all. ) The other thing I dislike about this coffee maker is how long it takes. You put your pod in and then there’s a 3 minute delay before the coffee starts coming out…make sure to plan ahead if you’re on a hurry! one thing I haven’t had to do yet is clean it but based Off the instructions it seems to be a simple process.
I like this machine but you have to be a little mechanically inclined if you want to use the k-cup feature: you have to clean the needle every so often – every >25 k-cups or so, I can’t be sure and less if you do a rinse-cycle in between.
There is back flush into the needle and it will clog up, that is why cleaning instructions printed on the inside of the water lid. That is a little cumbersome – I don’t mind it, but still, deducting half a star for it.
Other than that I like it a lot and it is build well. On that note: I would bet that many/most people who say it “broke” or “k-cups never worked” really experienced the needle clogging and didn’t understand they have to clean it every now and then.
I initially thought so as well. But it turns out it didn’t break, it just got clogged up!.
Had a standard k-cup machine. In order to use loose coffee required a special device. This machine quickly utilizes cups or loose grounds with provided adaptors. Also, the previous machine had a large reservoir which is unnecessary now as this device only heats one cup then shuts off.
Smaller profile takes less space on my counter. No standing water residue to clean off as I did with former resrvoir in previous unit. BUY IT!.

I purchased this coffee maker hoping it was better than my old Keurig as it made both cups and pots. Although the options and design are great , I found the base is not heated keeping you coffee hot.
After three months the coffee maker would not pump the water. contacted the manufacturer and had to send them a video of what it was doing or not doing and then they sent me a replacement base. Also I do not like the mesh basket that you have to use to make a pot of coffee.
I find that the coffee grounds and sediment go through it a bit. It is small and is recommended not to use paper filters in it. None would fit anyway. Ground coffee is ground so fine it seeps somewhat through the filer.
I have bought beans and grind my own with some success but it is hard to find the beans in the coffee I like. That all being said, I would not purchase this maker again. Not liking it much at all.
I bought the BruHub Deluxe in October 2020 and have never had any problems with it. With the Deluxe model you get a Stainless Steel carafe. My husband drinks hot tea, I drink coffee so I use the coffee pods and he makes a full carafe of hot water each morning.
I just bought the regular (black) carafe to make a full pot of coffee for when we have guests. The Deluxe model is truly worth the extra money. The BruHub Deluxe is just one of several products I’ve purchased from NuWave and I’ve never been disappointed with any of their products.
The NuWave Oven cooks the most perfect turkey I’ve ever cooked! Don’t forget to get an Extender Ring if you order one.
I bought this in February. This unit worked well up until a week ago. That means I got a whopping 8 months out of it before it decided to stop brewing correctly. It still has heat. It still pushes water, but it’s coming out of an area that it is not supposed to.
I was offered a replacement product, but the shipping on that would be $15 and I am hesitant to pay more for a product that will not last me very long. This is a very cheap unit that I would not recommend to anybody.
It also struggles to brew k cups as it should, so if you’re hoping to use this for k cups exclusively I would recommend going with a better brand. Customer support had nothing more to offer except to charge me a 14.
95 shipping fee to replace my broken product. No thank you and I won’t buy another nuwave product again.
Produce a fresh and flavorful pot every time with this stylish programmable coffeemaker. Color: Black/Chrome. Automatically grinds beans before brewing. 24 hour brew programmable. 12-cup carafe with ergonomic handle, dripless spout, and knuckle guard.
Brew Pause feature lets you enjoy a cup before brewing has finished. “Grind off” feature. 1-4 cup feature. Charcoal water filter removes impurities. Separate grinder chamber and filter area make cleanup easy.
110V power. Cord: 60″ length. 15. 16″ L x 11. 20″ W x 7. 48″ D.
I’ve always had great reviews for Cuisinart products. The rare issues I’ve had in the past, they have corrected and or sent me a replacement very quickly. This coffee maker is fine but it seems a bit less well built than other models I’ve had.
The swinging coffee grind holder seems very fragile. It has not broken but I feel it wouldn’t take too much to break it. I would recommend Cuisinart beef this up a bit. The lid on the coffee grind holder is also very finicky.
You have to place it just right. My older model, you could just get in on the general area to fit it into position. Not a big deal, but in the morning, I don’t like fussing around with it. Lastly, again not a big deal but the plastic cover on the grinder gets big time condensation in it when you make coffee.
The moisture stays in there and never dries up. I think its a little gross to have moisture sitting in it all of the time when bacteria can grow. I also think it may not be good for the metal parts of the grinder to be subjected to the continuous moisture.
I’ve had this maker for about two months and use it one or twice a day.
I was so excited to buy this grind and brew coffee maker but am disappointed in some features. First of all, it takes some experimenting to figure out the grind strength in relation to the water and number of cups.
I don’t like weak coffee so it took a little time get the acceptable settings. Secondly, a glass carafe with a hot plate would keep and allow the coffee to get really hot. The current set up just let’s the not so hot water into the carafe.
Coffee is never “hot”. Thirdly, a lot of coffee gets left behind in the carafe because of the design. You literally have to turn the carafe upside down to get coffee out. Its also hard to clean. I place a coffee filter in the basket to make it easier on cleaning.
You must also clean the grinding mechanism of accumulated coffee grounds. There’s gotta be a better grind and brew out there! It does cut down on needing a separate grinder but you’ll give up a good cup of coffee.
LOVE this coffee maker! I can make coffee SO much fresher now. It’s so easy! Put the beans in the top (and the water), push start and it does the rest! It will grind it and brew it immediately so it is the freshest cup.
I use this more often than my previous coffee maker because it has the option for 1-4 cups and actually does a good job with it. Previously, if I needed fewer than 5 cups, I would use a Keurig, but it doesn’t make the coffee as good so I just stopped making coffee in those situations.
Now I can make a REALLY good cup of coffee, even if I only need a couple cups! Cleanup is pretty easy. Just make sure to clean the grounds out of the different pieces (filter, filter top, grinder and grinder lid) and you’re good to go!.
Enjoy a fresh, fast single serving of coffee with the Elite Gourmet Single Cup Coffee Maker!. 700W of brewing power. Ultimate fast brewing. Space-saving, slim profile can be used in small kitchens or at your work desk.
Wipe with a damp cloth. Plastic, steel and aluminum construction.
I love the 14 ounce size of the stainless steel mug, great quality and it keeps the coffee hot, and it’s very comfortable to hold. Great quality coffee maker that brews fast, the water tank has three different water levels 8 oz.
10oz. and 14oz. , and it automatically turns off after brewing is complete to prevent it from burning or causing a fire. Easy cleanup and a great price. I highly recommend it and will buy another one.
An innovative all-in-one coffee maker for the traveller. The coffee maker consists of a beaker, coffee filter, jug and coffee grinder. Start by grinding the coffee beans. The ground coffee will drop into the underlying filter.
You fill the filter with water using the lid that serves as a jug and has a special anti-drip spout. Get ready for a lovely cup of coffee once the water has dripped through. The beaker has a 450 ml content.
Ideal for travelling or to have a cup of coffee at home.
Staff used to use tape which would wear off after washing a few times. Now with the colours, they know straight away which milk was in which jug and so don’t get them mixed up anymore. They also don’t have to worry about cross contaminating milks by using the wrong jug by accident.
This also reduces milk wastage and ultimately saves $$$ as well as the environment. They fit really well and don’t move. They’re easy to clean by just removing them and put them in the dishwasher. Because they’re silicon, they also have insulation properties, making the jug more easy to hold when hot and have more grip.
As a regular traveler, I was tied to bad coffee, expensive coffee, and sometimes both. Not anymore. I can now bring my beans and have them fresh ground and brewed in my hotel room, on the plane, everywhere.
Easy to use and clean, it packs quite compact in your bag. Something I wish that it filter grounds better, as for coarse grind it still produces fine dust. This can be easily solved by putting a paper filter.
Also it will be best if Cafflano can supply a small temperature that can be stored inside the tumbler during transport.
I was excited to get this having read the reviews in various magazines. It is by far the best Cup of coffee I have ever had. (I buy good beans but this just made the final product turn out really well) The bad: In my opinion the labour isn’t worth the quality before coffee.
The areo press can make a decent cup in less time and less effort. If you are not human before coffee the effort isn’t worth it. I gave it 4 stars because the product is amazing, it just doesn’t fit my needs.
(Minus 1 star) I still use it on occasion or for a second cup but I still reach for the areo press more.

We love the chefman insta coffee. With both choices of using kcups or the removalable fresh ground basket both of us can decide what type or flavor we want the cheftman brews quickly and is very easy to use.
I was amazed by the small compact size is and it looks nice on the counter. We like the included washable fresh ground basket that we can use when not using the expensive kcups, this can save lots if money and still get different flavors for both myself and hubby.
He likes the fact that we don’t have to brew a large pot of coffee and let it sit for hours, with the chefman insta we get quick up to 14 ounces of brewed fresh coffee in like 60 seconds or less that tastes great.
Chefman is also easy to clean, I will recommend this chefman insta max to everyone who loves coffee.
Purchased this a little less than 2 months ago; we used it sparingly (maybe 4 times on average per week); at first everything was great, no issues. Then, one morning, it did not work properly. Filled the water tank to the appropriate level and pushed the button to brew but only a few drops came out; it did not make the entire cup.
Tried to troubleshoot the problem as much as I could but to no avail; the only saving grace/blessing is I’m still able to return it, so I have just started that process.
Make a personal cup of coffee with the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Single-Serve Coffee Maker and enjoy the added flexibility of brewing freshly ground coffee and single-serve pods. With just the lowering of the lid and the press of a button, you can have a single cup of hot coffee, brewed from a K-Cup pod or your own grounds.
3 brewing sizes: 8 or 10 oz. cup and 14 oz. travel mug K-CUP is a registered trademark of Keurig Green Mountain, Inc. Use of the K-CUP trademark does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by Keurig Green Mountain, Inc.
The Flex Brew picks up where Keurig leaves off. The coffee comes out richer and much hotter than Keurig and with the same K-cups. It lets me have up to 14 oz per cup whereas my single-serve Keurig caps at 10.
The brewing is slower and more thorough which is probably why the coffee comes out better. Takes about 4 mins. This seems slower than Keurig but it’s the same when you consider that Keurig needs to first heat the water.
My only complaint is that the first couple of weeks the machine was making the coffee with a plasticy taste. It eventually wore off but you’d be advised to run the same K-cup through about a dozen times to flush that away.
This review reminded me of the great machine behind me so I made a cup and am enjoying it. RA.
This Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Single-Serve Coffee Maker Is the Best Coffee Maker That we ever owned! All them folks who talked stink about this machine did not have the machine I paid for! FlexBrew does make a great cup of Joe with No Bitter End.

You can fill a little overfill 14 ounces without it leaking. at all and makes a grand cup of Coffee in less than 4 minutes Quietly! Ya gave them folks A Free Coffee Makers and They Do Not Tell the Truth About This Choice Product that we LOVE!.
Thank you for the lovely present and it’s red, my favorite, a dream to use. The Hamilton Beach FlexBrew is the first single use coffee maker I’ve ever had or tried and it is wonderful. I had already purchased a few of the pods in anticipation so when it came I unpacked the box and sat down with the instruction manual.
After reading it carefully, I plugged in the machine, placed my cup on the base under the spout, inserted the pod in the funnel, pressing down to make sure it was seated properly, poured in the correct amount of water – checking the water window on the side – and pushed the Bold Brew and waited.
It didn’t take very long and suddenly I was surrounded by the aroma of the Creamy Hazelnut coffee and transported in my mind to a small coffee shop in Seattle when on vacation many years ago – back to reality – and finally, the last drops were in the cup and I pressed the button again and the light went out, the machine was off and my cup of coffee was ready.
I opened the top, taking out the used pod and dropped it into the trash can. Soon, I was sitting in my favorite chair and when I took my first sip of my coffee I sighed. It was wonderful, and every cup I’ve made since has been great.
Then surprise – I found the other funnel. Now, I can use my ground coffee as well as the pods. Hamilton Beach thinks of everything. Again, thank you for the lovely present. It is going to be so much fun trying so many different hot beverages during the cold days of winter and with the Holidays around the corner – it’s time to go shopping.
Why Choose this Grind & Brew Machine? Immediate grinding and brewing offers superior coffee quality because the aroma and flavor are preserved with the quickness of the process. I loved the concept as I love fresh ground coffee and the travel mug, it grinds nicely, however it continues to drip long after it beeps that it is finished. The drip pan is sufficient, but needs to be emptied after a few cups.

Reviews From Real Customers
Typically purchase Hamilton Beach over last 12-15 yrs. The Scoop caught my attention to accommodate single servings and avoid expensive, un-environmental K-cups. Pluses: quality/price, appearance, small footprint, bold/regular strength settings, 2-3 minute brew times, consistent flavor, serves hot coffee, flip-up base for cups vs mugs.
Minuses: (Displayed) travel mug not included, quick but messy cleanup, prefer 16 oz vs max 14 oz delivery, “bold” setting a bit disappointing. Suggestions/work-arounds – while Hamilton Beach product engineers usually get it right, some additional tweaks achieved my desired “richer” flavor and improved cleanup.
(1) filter basket holds 2-3 tbsp’s yet I desire 3 tbsps for 14 oz mug rather than using the “bold” setting. Since adding more fresh ground coffee to filter basket causes overflow of wet grounds and messy cleanup, by simply adding an inexpensive 3-1/2” (Melita) flat, circular paper filter ABOVE the freshly ground coffee seems to keep wet grounds from splashing upward onto the basket closure lid and also the top’s essential silicone sealing ring.
(2) the water reservoir is designed to hold a max of 14 oz’s – less than my favorite 16 oz travel mug. So, by placing a piece of tape outside over the water overflow outlet, I easily resolved this yet maintained a rich coffee flavor.
(3) a very handy supply of the flat round 3-1/2” filters can be neatly placed on the unit’s “Scoop hook” without distracting from overall appearance. Lastly, several reviews elude to messy leaks and low coffee brew temps.
I simply have not seen any such issues so feel with proper care and understanding, most will fall in love with The Scoop. Best!.
I LOVE this coffeemaker, and have been using it for years! I’m only buying a second one so I can also enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, at work! I’ve never had ANY issues with it malfunctioning, etc. It’s made to last, easy to clean, and absolutely NO WASTE!!! It does drip a bit, after light goes off, but that’s not a biggy for me.
I leave the cup sitting, less than a minute more and I’m good to go! I’ve never had a problem with drips “splattering” and leaving a mess in the tray, under the mug stand. But I have found folding one sheet of “select-a-size” paper towel, into thirds, and setting it in the “drip tray” will absorb any few, residual drips.
Easy to just toss paper towel away, as needed. This is the BEST Invention for making coffee and it’s my hope HB keeps it around for many years to come! Highly Recommend!!!.
I had a expensive Keurig coffee maker and it lasted a whopping 1 year of use. I made 2 cups of coffee in the morning and it sits unused till the next day. It broke down so fast! Besides the fact the coffee was as warm, not hot and very weak.
I bought the Hamilton Beach and it takes up much less counter space and the coffee that comes out is piping hot! It’s amazing, and I save the ecology by using this coffee maker it comes equipped with a tiny stainless steel basket, you pour in water drop coffee grinds in the little brew basket and you’re good to go ! It’s all stainless steel and easy to clean The only thing I can say is it most likely will splash ever so little as it’s brewing.
I found that by putting a tall cup under the basket alleviates this small splashing.
The Cuisinart Grind and Brew filter coffee maker grinds fresh coffee beans and is fully automatic. It can make up to 10 cups of coffee in just eight minutes and is fully programmable. The coffee machine is fully programmable with preset brewing times.
Other great features include a permanent professional gold tone filter which will not distort the taste of your coffee and a double walled insulated carafe which not only looks good but will keep your coffee warm for up to 12 hours.

Howdy coffee lovers! This was my third Cuisinart whole bean grinding coffee maker but the first 10 cup with stainless steel carafe. This coffee maker is similar in function to the other Cuisinart’s so figuring how to set it up was no problem.
The stainless steel carafe has the best pouring spout of any of my previous glass carafe’s. but that is where my praises end. The opening is too small to get my average sized guy hand in to clean. The coffee maker does not seem to have a warming element for the coffee after it is made and in my opinion the carafe does not keep the coffee warm enough, The SS carafe’s promise to keep the coffee pipping hot was the ONLY reason I bought this model.
I did understand that this model only makes 10 cups where the glass carafe’s models with the warming element can make 12 cups. On this model, someone decided the lid for the copper filter needed to be attached to the filter reservoir by a hinge.
WHY??? The filter lid is now not removable making it awkward to clean, rinse and dry, all things I do every day. As with all of the other bean grinding Cuisinart coffee makers I have owned, the coffee bean grinding lid is made of “clear” plastic.
well, at least for the first week or so it is clear. The ground coffee dust mixed with the steam as the coffee is being brewed turns the lid a deep, rich caramel color in time. As mentioned above, I clean, rinse and dry everything daily and mine is already changing colors after only a couple of weeks use.
What am I doing wrong? My recommendation, there no need to spend extra money for the model with the 10 cup stainless steel carafe. stick with the 12 cup glass carafe model with the warming element. it is easier to clean.
keeps the coffee hotter longer. and you have the option of two additional cups of delicious coffee!.
This is my second Cuisinart Automatic Grind & Brew Coffeemaker. My first grind & brew Cuisinart model 600, which was comparable in style to Cuisinart’s newer model 550, was purchased in 2006 and, yes, it lasted me 15 years.
I replaced it with model 400 and chose the model 400 over model 550 for a style change only. I am thrilled with my new Cuisinart model 400 and the fact that I have a shiny new coffeemaker. The features are very much the same as my older model, except that it now has a window on the side so you can see how much water is added.
Also, the grind feature seems a bit quieter than the older model, but if someone were to be sleeping in the room next to the kitchen, they may hear it. I use bottled water to make my coffee, which not only tastes better, but keeps the machine clean reducing calcium buildup.
Before making this purchase, I actually considered another Cuisinart coffeemaker model, without the grind & brew feature and purchasing a separate grinder, but realized that would only make the coffee making experience more complicated, and no less clean up.
Going forward, I will be sticking with Cuisinart’s automatic grind & brew models. There is no other.
This coffee maker has the look and feel of a high quality product. However, i wish i would have know about some of the design issues/flaws before making the purchase. Here are some negative aspects of this model: * the plastic lid of the pot does not easily pop off/up You need to pry the plastic top off to clean the pot.
* by default, the grind option is Always on. So everytime you make coffee, unless you push the grind off, the machine will start the grinding mechanism. * the coffee grinder module needs to be cleaned and dried out after every pot.
Even if you are using ground coffee, the grinding module gets filled with moisture and steams up. If the grinding mechanism is not removed, it will retain moisture and likely get musty. The grinding mechanism will not dry out without removing it – Very Annoying! * the coffee maker will not operate without the grinding module installed.
I just wanted a replacement coffee maker for a cheap $30 coffee maker. I thought this model would be a good replacement with basic coffee maker options and give me the option of grinding beans if occasionally want to.
However, having to take this machine apart after every pot is a PAIN.

Ordered online as my local stores did not stock it. Delivered two days after order. I like the unit overall, tall yet narrow. Brews quickly, approximately two minutes total from touching ON button. The water level window is pretty accurate, initially adding water from a measuring cup so as not to over fill but now just check the window.
Do pour water slowly as easy too overfill your desired mark. Not noisy as some have mentioned. Initial sounds like any drip maker as water is heated then a little pump moves the water through the grounds/k-cup.
Shuts off once pump stops. Use a little effort when using cups to insure the lid snaps closed as it needs to puncture both bottom and top of the cup. Basket is easier to close. On/Off buttons are touch sensors so easy to inadvertantly start the brew cycle if touching the machine on its side if moving it around on counter top.
Experiment with water level to suit desired taste of your coffee. Very consistent with k-cups and ground coffee I use. Tried k-cups and the conventional brew basket, both worked fine but cups are less mess as brew basket requires dumping grounds and washing the basket.
Have no real negatives to report. Some other reviewers noted malfunctions and were not happy, however WalMart readily accepts returns if there is a problem. I like it and would replce it if poops out after warranty.
I previously owned a FlexBrew and after 2 years the pump went out. It no longer emptied the reservoir after the water heated. The first one was a better model than this one, but after researching the market none of the higher priced models were worth the difference.
I wanted a single serve with pod capabilities and decided that this model would do the job. So far after 20 uses it’s still working. It heats faster and seems to be closer to the 190 degrees needed to brew, than the other model.
All in all, my purchase was based on my like for the first FlexBrew and a wish that the newer model would have a differently designed circuit board and or an upgraded pump. Optimistically, I would like to have at least three years out of this model.
However, if I get two years again, I won’t be too disappointed. Twenty dollars a year is a little high, but not a bad rental fee for an appliance.
I love using the Hamilton Beach Hamilton Beach Flexbrew Single Serve coffee maker in our game room. It’s perfect in our small space. It is very convenient for just making one cup of coffee with a pod or the ground coffee basket.
Or just using the hot water for a hot chocolate. Using a cup to fill the reservoir with the amount of water is ok, occasionally not all the water makes it into the reservoir. I do wish it was able to be removed to bring it to the faucet it would be a little easier.
The Hamilton Beach Hamilton Beach Flexbrew Single Serve coffee maker does make a nice cup of coffee. It nice in small spaces too. Easy to keep clean & store the coffee grind basket under the cup rest.

Got this little coffee maker for a once a day single cup. The stainless carafe is cute and functional. I’ve had to throw coffee makers away for lack of ability to find a replacement when the glass carafe broke.
This investment looks well worth it. The coffee is good. I love the ability to buy the single switch- no complicated programming needed, no unnecessary clock, etc. The auto shut off is helpful. One improvement I can suggest is the lid.
I couldn’t figure out how to remove it. Now have to juggle it to put it back on. Not sure why it’s different than most and is fussy to get it right. That’s a small point to the perfection of the unit otherwise.
I’m very pleased with this one switch, unbreakable stainless pot coffee maker. Oh and it sits under the cupboard even when the lid is open (I always let the tank air dry after brewing. ).
This is lovely to look at, but there are quirks that are particularly annoying in the morning prior to a cup of java. The top is not easy to remove or replace on the carafe; it takes two hands and a bit of thinking.
The carafe has no measurement for the water, so I invariably have to pour some out or add some before turning the pot on. The design of the top, which lifts when water is poured, is poor because it obstructs the pouring of the last little bit of water.
Then brewing of the coffee takes more than twice as long as my miniature Mr. Coffee pot did. More than irksome is the fact that the carafe does not keep the coffee hot, the main reason for going for a carafe in the first place.
I have to microwave every cup after the first. I remember when Cuisinart was a name that assured quality but, alas, that’s in the past.
The unit makes great coffee, looks nice, carafe keeps the coffee hot, and I like that it has a self-shut off feature in case I accidentally leave it on. I don’t make coffee daily, and have probably used this a dozen times.
It’s starting to make a little snapping sound, and it recently kicked the breaker on the GFCI outlet it’s plugged into, so keeping an eye on that. The two things I really don’t like: the carafe lid is extremely hard to remove (I have arthritis), and the black plastic “ring” around the top of the carafe is not sealed.
After pouring coffee or washing the carafe, coffee/water stays in the ring resulting in it dripping down both the outside and inside of the carafe (think old coffee/dishwater seeping back into your pot of fresh coffee).
I have a feeling this coffeemaker won’t last very long, which is disappointing because they did a lot of things right.
Brew your favorite coffee fast with the Cuisinart Single Serve Brewer! Featuring a 40-ounce water reservoir and 3 serving sizes, the morning rush just got a little easier. Choose 6, 8, or 10 ounces and brew into a mug, cup, or even travel mug by removing drip tray.

Cuisinart’s Mission as a Brand is to develop and market, innovative, high-end kitchen products that enable consumers to quickly and easily provide their family with home cooked foods from a cup of coffee to an extravagant holiday meal.
Have had 2 prior single serve brewers cuisinart and they were quality made and worked without issue. Not this low quality unit. It looks cheap, feels cheap and functions cheaply. Water pours out of the upper unit around the kcup when filling the coffee cup, not through the kcup.
Open the unit after it finishes and all lights appear, then more water pours out onto the kcup, not in it. The needle above the kcup is off center and it bruises my plastic kcup as it snaps shut to start the process.
You have provided quality machines in the past. Superior craftsmanship, a solid feel to the machine. This one is not worth the money I paid for. I had looked forward to getting a new unit because of past units functioning beautifully.
This unit however demonstrates a level of disrespect for the customer I have not seen before. It really looks like a Chinese knockoff. I have lost faith in your company and plan to purchase from another company that has not lost its way.
Quick and easy. A bit slow for us who are jonesing for the 1st cup of coffee in the morning. Second down side would be the reservoir could be a bit larger. It does 4 cups before needed a refill. Which, TBH isn’t bad.
I use the hot water to make iced tea throughout the day so I go through several cups. Small size is nice for a limited counter space. The last two Keurigs I have had just stopped working so I went with an old school reliable name brand.
Tired of unit imploding K-cups. Doesn’t matter if you de-scale, clean the needle, clean the rubber gasket. Implodes the K-cups. can’t use certain brands of pod coffee, so that kills being able to use a variety.
machine rips the tops off the pod and then blast the coffee everywhere. Works great in the beginning, then after a few months. POW! Times up, and this machine fails. Third household I know went through same series of events.
Customer service at Cuisinart less than useful. Do not waste your money on this unit. Works great then only a matter of time and the unit will begin to attack your coffee pods and create a mess on your countertop.
Sure it is easy to use. but if it can’t perform the one and only job it has to do why invest your money.

If you enjoy the ritual of brewing your own excellent cup of coffee, this is the coffee maker for you…IF you are willing to also do the ritual of cleaning the machine after every use. The manufacturer stresses the need for cleaning, and perhaps the best way to do this is to separate the two processes: brew now, enjoy great coffee, clean later.
Most coffee lovers like coffee that is freshly brewed and the best way to have that is to grind your favorite beans then immediately brew your coffee. Cuisinart has assured you of the process and correct temperatures for best results, you must experiment with different beans or blends and amount of water to give you what you seek.
Become a coffee expert, record and track your results. Once you establish those parameters, you can repeat your results forever, IF you keep your machine clean. Overall 4 starts, keeps changing to 1 star.
This personal single serve coffee maker will give you that fresh, pure taste that is required to jump start your day. Have your cup ready to drink in only 3 minutes! Hot enough to still have hot coffee with cream added.
The water adjustment function allows you to control how much coffee you want to brew to save expensive grounds.
I bought this because it didn’t have many bad reviews but it is a disappointing. the main drawback is you have to put water in it every time you use it which was a bigger pain than I realized. Secondly is it doesn’t shutoff as far as i can tell without pushing a button.
It seems to use whatever water you put in it and it won’t detect it’s low on water and shut itself off. it will shut off almost instantly when shutting it off manually during a K-cup cycle but it will overflow a coffee cup when using the coffee strainer if you don’t stop it when your cup is less than 2/3 full approximately.
Maybe I’m too nit picky but I had an Aldi’s coffee maker that cost only $20 that worked better. It works so I guess I’m stuck with it for now.

I brought the Toastmaster Single Serve in to office, and I love it!!! I save so much money on coffee. It is easy to use and easy to clean. I always have hot and fresh coffee available to me. The Toastmaster brews the coffee the perfect strength and color.
I highly recommend this product. I do not have any complaints. It’s the perfect size and doesn’t take up much space.
I am not a huge coffee drinker, but i do enjoy it from time to time, so i thought this would be great to have. I like having the option of using those single use cups or using coffee grounds. Its nice to be able to put in the just the right amount of water that i prefer so i can get it to just the right strength for me.
It is very easy to use and It works well for me. I am happy i got it.
The easiest way to great coffee is the Cuisinart Grind and Brew. This 12-cup coffeemaker automatically grinds the beans right before brewing to deliver the freshest coffee flavor, and the streamlined design with a brushed metal finish looks great in any kitchen.
Approx. size: 8″ L x 11″ W x 15″ H. Approx weight: 12. 1 lbs. Imported. Cuisinart.
I currently have a single cup machine, but was looking to add a drip carafe machine to my home coffee brewing options. After an extended amount of research I purchased the Cuisinart Pure Precision 8 Cup Pour-Over Coffee Brewer with Thermal Carafe.
I have had the machine for approximately 4 months now and am completely satisfied! When following the recommendations in the manual as set by the SCAA, using fresh quality grind of course, this machine makes a great carafe of coffee! I did not purchase this to compare head to head with a fresh French press cup or hand pour over as that is not it’s purpose.
I was looking for a solid drip machine with a few basic options such a time set brew, strength and temp options that would consistently brew a carafe of coffee with a higher quality than the average drip machine, keeping it warm long enough for my morning routine.
This machine has delivered all of my expectations without fail! Before purchasing, I found the following 3 concerns from some previous reviews related to this machine that I have not found to be an issue at all for me: 1.
The carafe drips when pouring and can be messy – I did not find this to be the case at all, and have not experienced any dripping whatsoever. If you have ever used a thermal carafe in a restaurant or at home, you do need to take some care in starting your pour or it will drip.
However, this is very easy to do, nothing special. In my opinion this is not a carafe issue, it is an “operator error” issue. 2. The thermal carafe doesn’t keep the coffee hot long enough – For me I found that the carafe kept my coffee hot enough through my morning drinking period which is about 2-3 hours, depending.
I usually consume all my cups within this time period in the morning (actually more like 1. 5 to 2 hours). I’m sure the carafe will keep it warmer longer, however if I need another cup after 3-4 hours I’m usually making a fresh batch.
If you are debating between the glass carafe with the heating plate or the thermal, I’d go with the thermal hands down. If you have ever had a cup of coffee that has been “cooking’ on a hot plate for even an hour, you may find it still piping hot, but it will also be burnt and nasty.
Not for me. 3. The machine is a pain to clean – Not sure why a few reviews indicated this. This machine is a piece of cake to clean and care for on a daily basis. I have also used the cleaning cycle as well.
I did this before it indicated I needed to, but I wanted to try try the cleaning cycle before reviewing. This process was very easy as well. Overall, This machine has achieved everything I have expected from it thus far, couldn’t be more satisfied!.
Beautiful coffee maker, makes great coffee! I make coffee a variety of ways. Chemex, V60, Kalita Wave, French Press. the one thing we didn’t have in our house was just a good old fashioned coffee maker.
I have a coffee bar set up in my home right in our living room, so I needed a coffee maker that I didn’t mind looking at every day. And this is one beautiful coffee maker. The black stainless looks amazing and doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb.
And apart from its looks, it also makes great coffee as well. I’m pretty picking with my coffee, so I ran a number of pots through to dial in my settings and preferences. I’ve been using this daily for a couple months now.
I set it every night to make my wife coffee before she leaves for work and she loves it. We haven’t used a K-Cup once since getting this coffee maker, which was the ultimate goal. Super easy to clean.
I empty the filter basket every morning and wash everything out and wipe down all the surfaces. Be careful not to open the lid too far after use, or you WILL get water down the back of the coffee maker (as is the case with just about every coffee maker in existence).
Just open enough to remove the basket, and then hand-dry everything. I use a paper towel to dry off the inside portion, and then prop the lid open a bit to let it dry completely. The LED lights are a little bright when the coffee maker is set, but not a huge deal.
The “beeping” that sounds when the coffee is done is LOUD. You could mistake it for a smoke alarm going off. There is an option to disable the beeping altogether, but I’d prefer options for quiet vs loud, because its default sound level is a bit overkill (at least for our house).
Ok here we go. I’ve owned 2 Cuisinart Burr grind-n-brew units since 2008 the last one died about a month ago. So I went to order a new one to find out they are discontinued. So customer service reached out and told me about this unit and a precision burr grinder.
I drink what most wouldn’t believe but 15-30 cups a day average. So the customer service rep told me all about this Pour-over design and I said sure I’ll give it a shot. Well I’m glad I did as I love these features #1 temperature control which is very nice as my cups hold 7 cups at onceso having it an extra 10° means my coffee stays warm till gone #2 the strength option is always nice to Taylor your cup, espyin conjunction with the Burr grinder.
#3 Ease of cleanup and use. Throw #4 Vshape filter out n rinse basket if want. Buttons aka programming very easy and simple. #4 really should be #1 Taste ! I’m not sure how they have this operating but assume it pumps briefly to allow the Bloom of the grounds before it brews the rest of water.
Whatever it does or how doesn’t really matter, It Just Works. #5 Changeable charcoal water filter, again nice add on. #6 Decalcification aka cleaning option again nice add on. #7 Cuisinart has always always stood behind their products 100%.
So I highly recommend trying this unit whole Heartedly.
The conclusion of the grind and brew coffee maker single cup is that it is a great machine for making coffee. It is easy to use and it grinds the beans quickly and evenly. It also brews the coffee quickly and evenly.
The only downside to this machine is that it is a bit expensive.
