This mug is awesome, does what it’s meant to; keeps hot things hot and cool things cool. As well as that though, it looks good! I’ve had teenagers stop me and ask me where I got it from. I’ve had one that told me he was going to take it from me, it’s that cool! Fortunately I used my super middle aged lady skills and kept hold of it and he went away empty handed!.

This travel mug is great value, it keeps my teas hot for hours. Have had no issues with leaking and it’s so easy to clean after use. The stainless steel rim and stainless steel inside gives it a fantastic appearance and the golden harry potter sign on the front, can’t fault it.

My daughter is in love with Hermione and this was a perfect birthday gift for her. I love that the doll is a good depiction of the character in the younger years. The hair is just wavy enough to still be able to style it, but represents the characters unruly hair (just like my daughter’s).

The only drawback was the wand which doesn’t securely stay in the dolls hand and I can predict that it will be lost within a few times of playing with it. The price was a good value as well.

I am impressed by the points of articulation on this Hermione figure from Spinmaster! The clothing is on point and very well made, and the shoes and wand can be removed and probably exchanged with other small pieces.

The hair is very long and should be easy for kids to comb through! I wasn’t certain why they needed to have so many bands holding the figure down to the package, because that made it a little more difficult to remove, and there were a couple ends poking out of the back of the head once removed! Besides that one small thing, it’s a fantastic figure, and any Harry Potter fan would be excited to collect the whole group!.

For the girlfriend, she loves it! Only glass she’ll drink from! Only downside I’d say is the heat change isn’t as contrasting as others I’ve seen because the colours come out when you add cold drinks, but when the glass is only at room temperature it’s already half coloured.

But overall a great glass for the price.

this was a birthday present for my son, who has never seen a colour changing glass! I bought this for my o. h. As a Mother’s Day gift. I wasn’t sure how well it would work. It’s wonderful! The colour change is from grey to full colour, when you add cold drinks to it. And it’s incredibly vibrant.

I’ve not seen one this well done before.

If this wasnt Harry Potter it would be half the price hence the quality and value vote above. I was expecting it to be a bit stronger and this was the best price I could find. I know my granddaughter will be thrilled with it as shes an avid fan of Harry Potter!.

I finally completed my collection of chalices and tankards. The quality of these collectables is simply fabulous. They are light in weight and above all the details are simply magnificent. A wonderful gift for Harry Potter fans.

The game pieces and board is well made and very pretty, giving it extra appeal. The game itself is so fun! Awesome Harry Potter game and very book like (just uses movie pictures and stuff) and the playing of the game very interesting and entertaining! We’re not 100% sure we play the game completely correct since some instructions were harder to follow and some rules never really defined.

But we tried our best and learned along the way. I do agree with one reviewer who said some house rules would make it more fun. And another reviewer who said that the first game can be played by younger kids.

We had a 7 year old play and they did great. As the game progresses it does get harder but if they can read, they can be helped and still play. We got it on sale and with an additional circle deal. Not sure I would pay $50 for a game but it’s about 7 in 1.

So there’s that.

This might be something for a family that’s very into overly complicated board games but as players of things like Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Caton etc I find this game just terrible. There are far too many types of cards and pieces, the game comes with several sets of “games” that require certain sets of cards to be laid out in very specific ways.

Our kids were excited to look at the game so they opened up several sets of cards to look through them and now trying to get them back into their original required starting points to play the game is all but impossible.

I am not normally one to post up a review rant but I am just extremely disappointed.

This game is SO fun and offers different levels for a challenge. It’s a true must-have for Harry Potter nerds who like things like DnD. Sometimes I even play by myself as all four characters. This is one of those games that takes hours to complete the hard stuff and somehow is still so fun at the same time.

You work together to defeat enemies like Bellatrix Lestrange and Draco Malfoy and boy does it feel good to get rid of Delores Umbridge! I will say it takes a while to put all materials out and then put them all back when you are done, but it’s a labor of love because you want it all sorted properly.

It’s worth it! This is just my favorite board game and I highly recommend it. :).

I recently received the Harry Potter Magical Infinity Gift Box and I couldn’t be happier. My kids and I were so excited to get this amazing and fun box. First off, the box itself was absolutely stunning.

It has beautiful harry potter themed artworkand the rotating box design was so cool. I will definitely be keeping the box and reusing it as a keepsake box. I loved that all 18 compartments were a mystery, filled with a variety of items from magnets to plush ornaments.

I bought this on clearance about a week ago and just opened it today. My bottom row was ripped and haphazardly taped back together. In doing so, it kept the box from opening like it was supposed to. I had to rip another side to get it to open the correct way.

Three of my boxes were empty. Granted I got a good deal on it but I don’t feel like it was worth it. I’ll probably keep the box for my Harry Potter jewelry but can’t help being disappointed.

The manual was easy to follow and the construction was so detailed with the library and Sorting Hat. If you are a lover of Harry Potter, you have to get this! I would recommend to all my cohorts!.

When built, it’s a little smaller than I expected, but it has so many compartments, rooms, and add-ons that it really is one of the better Lego sets ever made.

The box is a good gift for a 10+ year old due to size and diary/note book, but the box is cardboard and will ware out quickly. Stickers are lacking in selection and number.

This set is relaxing and easy to put together. I chose to do the Ravenclaw version. It looks more majestic and less crow-like in person and the blues and metallic black contrast nicely with the silver and white.

It looks excellent on display, although I wish there was less grey or perhaps an “R” or something else representing Ravenclaw to add decoration to the plain grey area. Even some bronze-coloured pieces (Ravenclaw colours are bronze and blue) as accents might add some more visual interest.

I plan to buy another set so that I can have two house crests on display at once. I found a design online that allows for the construction of the entire school crest using just one set, instead of the four, so I may try that, as well.

Overall, this piece is great value for your money, is visually appealing, provides many options for designs (four given, in addition to the ability to use the frame and pieces to design your own), is sophisticated enough for display in the home or office (it has a Medieval, heraldic design) and perhaps most convenient of all, is meant to hang on the wall, so it doesn’t take up shelf or table space.

I am not a Hufflepuff, but the gold and black image and colour scheme are strikingly appealing. I must say that I do wish there were gold bricks for Gryffindor and yellow for Hufflepuff and that the Gryffindor red was more vibrant.

The tone of the red is more burgundy or red brown, than a deep scarlet. I do think that it is definitely a 10 and up or even 15 and up project, as it requires patience, hand-eye coordination, visual acuity and somewhat developed pattern recognition skills to complete the detailed patterns of some of the design.

The accompanying hangers are quite sturdy and the crests look good on my wall. I would have loved to build the entire crest, but $600 was just too much to pay. Update: Having read other reviews, I concur that Ravenclaw would have been better represented by an eagle.

I ended up using the second set for my own design, and made a nice Harry silhouette and a background using all four main house colours. I decided to layer the dots to make a 3D effect and it looks amazing! I don’t feel like spending more money on 1x1s (there are SO MANY leftover already), or else I would get more black and dark metallic grey to make dimensional hair and pop out Harry’s spectacles even more than I did.

I have built several large Lego sets by now but this was my first Lego art set. Let me tell you, it is easier to put together than I was expected. You don’t need to constantly count studs or take a look at the instructions every second.

Fill it with one color at a time and you will get almost meditative experience. Lego art as a concept works for sure, but how about this particular set? There are a couple of issues with this set. Let’s tackle the podcast first.

Since the podcast is advertised with the set, is displayed on the box and included in the instructions, I look at it as a part of the product itself. The podcast is 1 hour long, while it takes about 3 hours to build one crest, so you won’t be able to listen to it through the whole build time.

The content of the podcast is fairly interesting for anyone interested in the Wizarding world of Harry Potter. However, one of the participants has recorded his answers in a noisy environment (you can hear people talk in background and some general office noises) which feels unacceptable for something that meant to be a part of an experience sold for money.

Only the best is good enough, Lego? Now let me address the crests themselves. The designer was aiming at 18+ audience (despite the fact that Harry Potter books originally were written for kids and teenagers).

As a result, the designs are more medieval than magical are barely recognizable as something from Harry Potter. I think, Warner Brothers have noticed that too, therefore, have offered the designer to add the items (the sword, the locked etc) to the crests to make it more Harry Potter (the designer tells us about it in the podcast).

Another thing that brought it down is the goal to make all 4 crests from one set. It works fine for Iron man, Star Wars and even Mickey (since the color schemes across the different variations are similar) but it doesn’t work with Hogwarts crests.

After building the Gryffindor set I have one sealed bag of green studs (Slytherin) and another for blue (Ravenclaw) stund. There is a big leftover of silver and grey studs too. I paid for those but won’t ever use them if not planning to take it apart and build another variation.

You will run into the same issue with any of the 4 crests. No red, blue and almost no gold is used in Slytherin, no gold, red or green in Ravenclaw etc. There could be two separate sets: Gryffindor + Hufflepuff and Slytherin+Ravenclaw.

This would allow to add more diversity to each crest (since you don’t need to think about squeezing all 4 of them) and reduce the price of the sets by at least 30% (judging by the leftover pieces). As it is at the moment, the set is jack of all trades, master of none.

The only reason I have decided to get it is to see if I am into Lego art, and if I do, to get 3 more to make the complete Hogwarts crest since it is the only design which truly stands for Harry Potter.

To conclude, the building experience is meditative, the podcast is short but fine, the final build is sturdy and well sized, the main designs lack magic and there are too many leftover studs.

This is just an amazing Lego set for the Harry Potter Fan. It was so easy to make, my 9 year old put it together almost completely by herself. She chose to make the snake crest and it looks so good once complete.

You make each panel separate and then connect them. It comes with pieces to build a frame around it, which is the only thing she needed help with. It has two slots on the back as you can hang this up for wall art.

It was very easy to follow the instructions and took maybe 2 hours total to put together. I am not sure how hard it would be to pop all those dot Legos off to make a different crest as we have yet to try it.

We will most likely keep the snake one. It also came with a qr code to scan so you can listen to the soundtrack while building. Overall I think this is a neat idea for Lego for older kids to do since it hangs on the wall and doesn’t take up a lot of space like traditional Legos do.
