Reviews From Real Customers
I have super thick, wavy and poofy hair that I have my hair stylist dye brown since I started going prematurely gray in my late twenties. It takes forever for my hair to air dry and it is so unruly for the most part that I just let it air dry until it’s not soaking wet and then I begin the long task of using a hair dryer and then straightening my hair.
I do this once or twice a week. I have tried every shampoo and conditioner, even the supposed custom shampoo and conditioner sets, and I would continue my search to find something to condition and calm down my hair, add shine and smell amazing since I only wash my hair two to three times a week, on the weekends I generally wear my hair wavy.
I was at my local Ulta and happened to walk past the aisle carrying this brand and noticed there were products specifically for my hair type. I didn’t even care that it was expensive, I had to try it! I couldn’t believe how concentrated the product is and how it made my hair feel and smell after the first use.
With each subsequent use my hair feels more and more healthy: it’s moisturized without being weighed down, it’s shinier, and I am actually getting compliments that my hair is looking good. It has such a lovely yet subtle fragrance that has a staying power that other products don’t have.
If you have thick and coarse hair you know how are hair tends to pick up other odors, yucky ones, and with this shampoo and conditioner I can still smell the fragrance a bit up until I rewash my hair.
My husband even complimented me on the way my hair smells. He asked me if I had just washed my hair and I told him I had the night before. I am hooked! I also notice my wavy hair is more subdued and pretty since I started using this two weeks ago.
I just ordered the refill pouches for both the thick shampoo and thick conditioner since it is definitely the best value. I am so happy and I hope Ouai continues to make this product!!.
@theouai Shampoo Conditioner for Medium Hair has become my holy grail! I stumbled across @theouai from a @sephoracanada when I placed my order and I selected the @theouai Shampoo Conditioner for Medium Hair as a free sample after reading the ingredients list (which did not contain any of harmful ingredients mentioned).
It was my first time trying out any product from the brand and I didn’t have any expectations. When I first opened it I was immediately hit by the fruity floral fragrance which smells amazing and for someone who is sensitive to fragrance it was very easy to get use to.
It smells SO GOOD! A little bit goes a long way which is great for my medium thick hair. Overall using the combination of the shampoo and conditioner after the first use my hair instantly felt softer hydrated smoother and feels squeaky clean.
Definitely no more split ends! Normally when I wake up the next morning I’m prone to excessive hair loss which can happen because of my diet and products I use to wash my hair or put in as treatment.
Shockingly ever since using @theouai Shampoo Conditioner I see that the hair loss has lessen and my hair is looking fresher. To maintain the moisture and bounce throughout the whole day I also apply the @moroccanoil Treatment.
A versatile argan oil-infused hair treatment and styler. I apply a few pumps on my hand and massage it into my hair throughout the day that for my straight asian hair promotes softer stronger hair with increased shine.
I received so many compliments from my friends and they ask me what’s my secret and I simply say “OUAI and Moroccanoil” 🥰#haircareroutine #theouai#moroccanoil #moroccanoiltreatment #favouriteproducts #haircareregimen #haircareenthusiast #haircare.
For reference: I have LONG hair with a naturally wavy/curly texture, and with that comes frizz. A lot of it – even though I’m very aware of how to tame it (naturally kept or with a blow-out). My hair behaves weirdly, i’ll just put it that way – it’s difficult to achieve perfectly smooth styles.
HOWEVER. I’ve been using OUAI products (I started with the THICK SHAMP+THICK COND. ) for a little bit over a year now & all I can say is. I will NEVER go back to anything else, ever, unless I find something AS extraordinary as this brand.
It’s like magic in a bottle, to me at least. I have never experienced better hair (at home, done by me) in my entire life. It’s insanely smooth & silky. I have such minimal frizz now. I normally need to blow dry AND straighten my hair, but I am beyond satisfied with just the blow-dried results.
The only cons, I would say, is that because there’s such rich and moisturizing ingredients (love to see it!) your hair can become a tad oily after the third day, even second sometimes. You just need to figure out what the right amount of product is for you so that you don’t over do it.
The second con, though it’s nothing too crazy, would be that sometimes I end up needing more product in the shower, as it doesn’t lather suuuuper well – but again, this depends on hair length and the amount that you know you need.
I guess I just wish it foamed a bit more, is all. BUT these are such small things that can be resolved & aren’t much of a big deal. For the oily con as mentioned above, this is why I switched to the MEDIUM line & I feel like it has helped.
The THICK line may have heavier ingredients. Thank you OUAI x times a million <3 I hope these formula's never change! :) BEST CHOICE I'VE EVER MADE FOR MY HAIR !.

Reviews From Real Customers
I know that’s a bold claim to make, but this shampoo (and the accompanying conditioner) have actually changed my lifestyle. I have long and fine hair: enough of it to knot really badly but not enough to provide any volume at all.
I have tried pretty much every product on the market for fine hair: shampoos, serums, dry shampoos, powders etc. at many price points, and I have never found anything that would provide more than a few hours worth of lift/volume.
I’ve had to wash my hair every day because second day hair has always looked really limp and flat, and occasionally greasy even if I’ve not had any product in it. I know that washing your hair every day isn’t great and often not practical but it was either that or be happy with a drowned rat in a chip pan look.
When you use the shampoo it doesn’t lather up much and it doesn’t feel very hydrating in the shower either, if anything it feels like it might be drying your hair. Despite that I have no issues combing it afterwards and even without using a hairdryer I get thicker looking, volumised hair that lasts not just for one day but for two, in fact my hair looks just as good on day 2 as it did on day 1.
So when I say it’s life changing it really is – I no longer have to wash my hair every day, I don’t have to use a hairdryer every day either saving time, water and money. I use two pumps of the shampoo every other day and I still have product left in the bottle from starting use at the end of April.
I couldn’t recommend it more highly. I’ve bought some for my mum (from whom I inherited my hair thickness) who is also really impressed. It may seem a bit expensive as an initial outlay but I think I’m going to get 4 months of washes from one bottle so will definitely work out cheaper than a high street shampoo.
I bought my first at the beginning of Jan 2022 and there’s still product left! The bottle is feeling lighter so I ordered another round that just arrived today. This time I ordered the scalp pre wash oil as well to introduce to my hair and scalp.
For $18 a bottle, this product has lasted me 4 months. I wash my hair every other day and use 2 pumps that I massage all over my scalp and then spread the remaining product to the ends. The shampoo will make your hair fear like elastic at first, but once you rinse and apply the conditioner (I apply at ends first and then remaining product at top of hair, but I never massage conditioner in) it will feel nourished and silky smooth.
When my hair dries, it looks bouncy, full, shiny, and hydrated. I have dry and sensitive skin/scalp/everything lol, and my hair is very thin. What makes it worse is I’m sensitive to stress so I get a lot of hair loss 🙁 After 4 months of using this product shampoo+conditioner, I noticed a huge difference.
The health of my scalp and hair has greatly improved. What can I say, I think I found the one! As someone with thin hair and hair loss, I tried many shampoos, but none gave me the results I was looking for.
this JVN duo really helped my scalp get less dry and flaky, I noticed less hair fallout, and my hair always feels bouncy and full after. Because my hair/body takes time to adjust to new products, I decided to only start with the shampoo and conditioner first, but now I’m ready to introduce the scalp oil pre wash.
I live in LA and the climate here is usually dry, and the water is very hard/harsh and not good for our hair. (The chemicals they use to clean the water is no bueno). If you’re giving this product a try, follow the steps and give your hair 1-2 weeks to adjust and about a month to see a change.
10/10 recommend.
I was about to type, “Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but. ” But that’s nonsense. I’ve been washing my own hair for over 50 years, so I am confident that’s not the problem. Having said that? I am not getting good results from the Embody shampoo and conditioner.
My hair is thin, fine, straight, shoulder length, and never, ever heat-styled. As I’ve been doing for decades, I start cleansing at the scalp first, then work down the hair shaft, and start conditioner on the ends first, then work it UP the hair shaft.
Every time with Embody, I’m left with hair that is flat and quickly greasy at the scalp, and dried out and stringy at the ends. It’s a strange mix of results to say the least, like nothing I’ve ever experienced (if a product backfires on me, it’s usually one or the other)! On the plus side, both products are a pleasant sensorial experience to use.
The liquid textures are great, the shampoo lather feels silky, the conditioner does detangle well, and the scent is heavenly! That’s why I’m giving the line two stars. I will use up the bottles because I have them now, and returns are more of a hassle than I feel like dealing with.
I can (sort of) fix the issues I’m left with by bringing in a little dry shampoo at the roots, and some leave-in product I already have for the dry ends. It’s not like I have to wear a paper bag over my head to leave the house.
But I shouldn’t have to “fix” anything after using products like this that are on the spendy side, and billed to be more of a high-end experience. Jonathan, I adore you madly and always will! But your JVN Embody line is just not working for me :(.

Reviews From Real Customers
I was really disappointed in this shampoo that I purchased as part of a volumebloom set (smaller packaging). I have fine hair (chin length) and expected volume. My hair unfortunately remained flat, even after blow-drying with a quality hair dryer.
The smell is fantastic, the hair is smooth, but there is zero volume (the volume was the purpose of my purchase). Not sure why my hair remained flat, perhaps due to the creamy texture. I tried multiple ways e.
g. only putting conditioner to end, no conditioner etc. , still flat. It is an expensive disappointment. I keep searching for a shampoo and conditioner. Not what I expected. I would give zero star if I could.
If you are unsure I recommend to buy the small one first before you buy the big one, to check whether works for your hair as it didn’t for mine. I tried without conditioner, pea size conditioner, only bottom of hair conditioner and hair was still flat.
This shampoo has a very light pleasant scent, not like the Biolage I used years ago which smelled wonderful, but not everyone wants a strong scent. Nice creamy texture. It lathers well for people who like that.
I’ve always read that shampoos that don’t lather are better for your hair but it just feels like they’re doing more when they do lather – you feel like they’re cleaning better. I have very fine hair and this definitely doesn’t weigh it down.
It rinses very clean and does seem to leave hair lighter and fuller but I also feel it may be a bit drying for me even using the conditioner. I will finish it and see if that truly is the case or not, it may be I’m imagining that.
My hair is not any shinier or softer but I didn’t expect it to be, it’s already shiny and soft. I like the packaging very much because it’s the type you can leave right side up or leave upside down when the bottle is getting low and it’s flat on the top so it stands upside down perfectly fine.
All shampoo and conditioner bottles should either dispense from the bottom or be able to be flipped when they are getting low and stand upside down without wobbling or needing to be propped with something so you can get the last bit out of the bottle.
I probably would buy this again.
A few months ago I was on a streak of using “natural” sulfate/paraben/silicone/etc free shampoos/conditioners and this caused me to experience very bad hair loss. Since using this shampoo and conditioner I wash daily and barely lose any hair.
I have extremely fine hair with oily roots and dry ends that is normally devoid of volume. I won’t say this shampoo gives me crazy amazing volume but my hair is no longer flat to my head after just washing.
Gives just the right amount of moisture so that my hair is shiny and healthy but not weighed down at all. Only downside is I don’t love the smell but it isn’t very strong and my boyfriend says I smell the same as I used to.

Reviews From Real Customers
I found attitude products a little over a year ago. I was having issues with a patch of flaky scalp and overall itchy scalp. I had never had this issue before. I knew the cause was probly the ingredients in my current hair care produts that were green washed, so I switched to attitude for the nontoxic ingredients.
It immediately cleared up! I haven’t had an issue since. I did forget my shampoo when going out of town and needed to wash my hair. I figured one use if the hotel shampoo could do that much damage but thatbflacky spot itched me like crazy all day and night until i got home to rewash with my attitude product.
I have only had to order 5 bottles of shampoo and conditioner in an entire year! And the 5th bottle hasn’t even needed to be opened yet. I just don’t to run out!.
I took the quiz and it recommended this shampoo, my hair is somewhere in the middle of thick and thin but gets weighed down easily. I also have an itchy dry scalp with a lot of breakage near my crown because I used to wear too tight hairstyles.
I just used this for the first time last night and I am blown away by how great my hair feels. Significantly less flakes on my scalp and my hair is SO shiny! My hair also has incredibly volume but my flyaways are smoothed down.
I was afraid this might be too heavy of a product but it’s not at all and I love that a little goes a long way. It lathers amazingly too. Thank you Attitude for creating affordable non toxic products that really work!.
I have long, medium-thick, straight hair that is healthy and strong, but my scalp is a constant itchy mess from thyroid problems and allergies/eczema. Within the first week of using this shampoo, I was able to go back to washing every two-three days instead of daily the way I had to with other shampoos because my scalp would start itching like crazy.
After three weeks, I’ve noticed my scalp is no longer irritated and the dried skin is significantly reduced. Fingers crossed this trend continues because I really like the low waste, low environmental impact packaging, and a product that’s truly gentle and addresses scalp issues without loads of fragrance or other unhelpful additions.

I appreciate that this product is paraben and silicone free, so its very gentle on hair. I notice that some compliment the “expensive” smell, but I think it’s just OK: I’d describe it as “old-school floral” which may not be everyone’s style.
As for volumizing-full disclosure, I have super long, thick hair in the first place- I don’t know that I saw any dramatic results. It does produce a really smooth lather and rinses cleanly. Ultimately though, I don’t think I’ll be justifying the price for the 4oz of product.
Not life changing for me, but the product appears to have quite a loyal following of those with shorter/thinner hair.
I have used this for years and even though I sometimes try other shampoos out of interest I always return to this one. Like others mentioned, it doesn’t foam as your usual shampoo does. However, if you use it as it indicates on the package (I think) then it does foam.
Your hair has to be dripping wet – I mean really really wet. And you have to rather rigorously work it into your hair, then it foams no problem. Not for very long though. It is best applied in small amounts multiple times to cover your whole scalp.
It may seem like a lot of work but in my opinion, it is worth it. It is the gentles thing I have ever used for my hair. My hair stays clean with it for 4 days no problem. Meaning that it doesn’t strip away the natural oils from your scalp and your skin doesn’t start reproducing them which is the reason why hair get dirty again fast.
Also, it doesn’t dry the ends of my hair although they are relatively lengthy. The smell is very good too (smells like honey). And it gives a considerable amount of volume to my fine hair.
My wife bought this for me as a Valentine’s Day gift to prevent any further hair loss (in her words). First of all, the smell of the shampoo is absolutely amazing, smells like 100% real honey. The honey smell lasts awhile on your hands after the shower.
Although the shampoo doesn’t produce as much bubbles as I want, the after use is astonishing. It not only gets rid of all the grease but the hair feels so much puffier and softer after drying out. After 2 months of use, I started to see less and less hair loss on my hand when washing my hair.

I use to go to the Bumble & Bumble hair salon, in Manhattan. I am familiar with the products, and have used them often, in the past. I just finished using gloss moderne shampoo. It has put me off all other shampoos.
I figured B&B, Gentle shampoo would be ,gentle. It was not. My hair felt “stripped” of moisture and softness after using it. I also had a difficult time brushing my hair. My hair does not feel right after using it.
You have to use conditioner, with this shampoo. Gloss Moderne shampoo, is pretty expensive, but it is so worth it. It smells amazing, and looks like and feels like gold. It makes my hair feel like satin, and I never have to use conditioner.
Whatever chemicals are in B&B, it was just bad for my hair. I will never buy their products again.
This is a fantastic once-in-a-while shampoo. It always leaves my hair feeling super clean – and soft! – without stripping it of natural oils. It has a really nice, mild scent, too, and reduces frizz without leaving behind any heavy residue.
I probably wouldn’t use it daily, or even every other day, since it seems like more of a clarifying product to me. Depending on your needs, I would highly recommend this for someone with thicker, possibly heat or color damaged hair looking for something to gently coax their hair back to health.
I have been using this product once as a week to deep clean my hair for the past six months. I have color treated fine to medium coarse wavy hair. I have to be careful with hydrating products because they make my hair greasy.
My hair loves this shampoo. It reduces frizz without weighing down my hair at all. I feel like I stepped out of the hair salon when I wash my hair with this shampoo. It feels clean, soft, and light, and it gives me just the perfect amount of volume,.

It is not often that I give four stars for a hair product. But the second that I used this conditioner for damaged hair, I fell in love, in love !!! This conditioner is an intensive, silicone-free conditioner that repairs damaged, brittle hair.
It contains Organic honey which draws in moisture, and organic hibiscus flower extract that strengthens strands. It is an ultra-rich formula and an intensely nourishing blend of organic aloe, sunflower seed oil, and shea butter, that nourishes hair.
These items work synergistically to guard hair from future breakage. It deeply Conditions your hair. Whether you let your hair dry naturally or you blow it dry, this conditioner leaves your hair so soft and silky, you can’t keep your own hands off of it.
It is a little pricey but not as pricey as some other favourites of mine. Although no other conditioner I have ever used has left my hair feeling so nourished and hydrated. . I love this conditioner!!!.
I received a sample of this item with another item I ordered. I have been looking for a product that would quench my very dry hair. I had let my hair grow long during the pandemic. I hadn’t had long hair since I was in my late 30s.
I’m turning 50 in June, and trust me, your hair changes after menopause! I was thinking of cutting my hair because it just looked unhealthy and dull. I decided I would try the sample I received with my last order before I cut all my hair off.
The second the product touched my hair, it felt “quenched” to the touch! As I smoothed the product onto my hair, my hair started to feel slippery and smooth. I blow dried my hair, and it stayed incredibly shiny and smooth.
Even after I put the straight iron through my hair, and added product and hairspray, my hair looked incredibly shiny and soft to the touch. The next day, I still had some of the sample left, so once again I used this conditioner in my hair.
It was once again smooth and shiny, and looked even better than the first time I used it. I was so happy with the results I immediately ordered more! I can’t wait for it to be delivered to get that shine back!.
I was happily using the old formula shampoo and conditioner(when it was called a detangler) however now that both have been reformulated, it has changed them beyond recognition and I can no longer use this product range.
I have fine hair but also lots of it, which combination makes my hair tangle and knot easily. The old shampoo and conditioner worked through my hair superbly however the new one does not. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling like there is a residue and the conditioner does not untangle my knots easily.
I struggle to comb through my hair with my shower comb and find that the comb “drags” through my hair. This was never the case with the old formula. In addition, when brushing my hair ready for blow-drying, I find it difficult to brush through and find that the ends of my hair become knotted and often require to be pulled out (or on one occasion, cut out with scissors).
John Masters previously reformulated the neroli conditioner from being a great detangler to a ineffective conditioner which was why I changed to the mint range. Now that the same thing has happened I am left with no option but to change to a different organic brand.
I very badly wanted John Masters to be my go to products however unless you stop reformulating products that were never broken in the first place I am saddened to say that you have lost a regular customer.
On a slight plus, it does smell gorgeous.

I’ve been purchasing this item on and off for the last few years. At first, it was a great shampoo and did exactly what the bottle claimed. Later batches, however, were disappointing. My experience seems similar to some other reviewers’.
Kiehl’s should source their materials more consistently and have better quality control (for this product, at least).
Hi! Today I am here to review the 🌸price: 21€. I’m aware that not everyone is willing to pay this amount for a shampoo. But we have need also to keep in mind that: 1) is not a shampoo that I’d advice to use daily 2) the cost seems “high” for a shampoo but it promises you real hair grow.
🌸 shade: / 🌸quantity of product: 250ml 🌸perfume: floreal perfume. 🌸design: minimal 🌸other infos: really does what it promises! I saw some differences! Personal score I give to the product: 8/10.
Bought this product as an alternative to my usual shampoo. Rate Kiehl’s skin products so thought I would try the shampoo recommend for fine hair, I was looking for a product to give volume to my fine, naturally wavy hair.
After one wash, I noticed there was no residue or heaviness; after the second, the hair had more bounce. I have now ditched my original shampoo for this product. I love it -and I don’t need to wash my hair on a daily basis- better for it!.

Reviews From Real Customers
To give you some background on my hair- I balayaged it for about a year and a half, and then soon got tired of the maintenance/ damage it was causing my hair, but it looked bad, so I BOX DYED (I know) it back to my normal hair color to reset it.
This was in 2019/2020 and I stopped dying my hair in the beginning of 2021. Since then, I have been trying for well over a year to find a shampoo/ conditioner that checks off all of my boxes: -clean ingredients -moisturizing/ doesn’t weigh down my waves -helps combat frizziness -doesn’t cost a fortune I tried like three or four different brands (and even back in 2019/2020 I was trying to find a company that hits all these boxes) and none of them worked.
I would try it for the entire bottles of shampoo/ conditioner but my hair always looked so bad. So incredibly frizzy, my waves looked so bad- they were either too moisturized so it looked greasy, or not moisturized at all, and the costs weren’t too great either.
I had done research on this brand and heard only incredible things so I thought I would give it a try. AND IT LIVES UP TO THE HYPE. I am only one wash in and frizz is absolutely GONE, my waves have never looked better, the fragrance is long lasting and smells so good, and I am in love with the product.
I held off on buying the Air Dry styler or detangler until I saw the results of the shampoo and conditioner but now I am going to throw out every other hair care product I own and am fully switching over to all Odele products.
I am going to be a customer for life! So glad I finally found this brand that works incredibly well on my hair but also is supporting all the things I love! Woman owned and operated, clean ingredients and fragrance, beautifully minimalistic design/ packaging.
I love it. Could not recommend it enough. If you’re on the fence- buy it all.
I rarely write reviews, but after reading a number of negative reviews about this product, I felt compelled to write about my positive experience with the volumizing shampoo/conditioner. I have a lot of very long, fine hair and struggle to find products that leave my hair with at least a little volume, allows me to brush through my hair without excessive tangling, and keeps my ends from drying out.
Odele leaves my hair soft and smooth. It’s not particularly voluminous, but my hair is long, perfectly straight and I can’t get it to form body unless I hair spray the heck out of it. Personally, I like the natural earthy/plants scent—Gisele is one of the few “natural” brands that actually tells you what is in their fragrance instead of using the generic “natural fragrance” to potentially mask the presence of undesirable chemicals.
I definitely haven’t noticed the film left in my hair that others are reporting—maybe they aren’t accustomed to sulfate free shampoos and aren’t rinsing their hair well enough? I also purchased the leave-in detangling tonic, expecting to need it because volumizing shampoos typically don’t provide my hair enough moisture.
I’ve found that I don’t need it, but using just a little makes my hair softer and smoother. I can see how using too much of the spray could make your hair feel sticky, but that’s usually the case with any leave-in product.
When I saw this in my mailbox, I was STOKED (it showed up before it told me on my Influenster app). I have super sensitive skin on my face, but never really tried anything that was sensitive aimed for my hair.
While I definitely prefer scented hair products—so I smell amazing with every flip of my hair— I understand why it doesn’t have fragrance, since fragrance can cause sensitive skin flare ups. After reading more about the product on the back of the bottle,I noticed something that I am shocked by— it has silicones! “Most silicones are hydrophobic which means they repel water.
In your body, silicone will displace water and push it away. When it does this in hair, the very precious moisture content of just 3% is reduced and the protein bonds that make up 97% of hair become less stable and more liable to break.
” And according to Healthline, people who use hair products with silicone notice “ A weighty feel, dryness, and hard-to-remove buildup. ” I know there is a lot of controversy on silicones in hair products, but I have such thin hair, so I try to avoid any weighing down when possible.
Therefore, I try to avoid them when I can. BUT, I gave this set a shot anyways. I’ve only used it once so far, so I’m not able to touch base on the long term effects, but upon the first use, it works well and does what it says.
It didn’t irritate my scalp at all, and my hair was shiny and had nice volume! I didn’t use any other hair products when testing, so I could see the results of just the products. Overall, I like it, but just wish it didn’t have silicones!.

Brilliantly engineered powered by their Proprietary Amino Cleansing Complex to gently cleanse, repair, and protect hair while delivering fuller-looking hair and noticeable volume.

Plus, it gives hair 2x the volume! Key Ingredients: Proprietary Amino Cleansing Complex in Full Shampoo~ Sulfate-free blend that cleanses hair without stripping. Phytantriol in Full Shampoo + Conditioner~ Preserves hair color and reduces the damaging effects from thermal and environmental aggressors.
Marine algae polysaccharide in Full Shampoo + Conditioner~ Protects hair from environmental damage. Amaranth peptides in Full Shampoo + Conditioner~ Plumps hair fibers for bouncy, fuller-looking hair.
I’m so in love with how full and luxurious my hair looks since using this wonderful haircare combination. My hair looks like it has life again. Products Shown: @LivingProofInc~ Full Shampoo #livingproof #haircare #crueltyfree #cleanbeauty.
This shampoo is clear and has no lather to it initially. I emulsify the shampoo between my hands and the first time it doesn’t lather, then I rinse, emulsify more product between my hands again to shampoo a second time and THEN the shampoo gets foamy and deep cleans.
I have one more use left of a 2 oz travel size I bought at Ulta, and this just isn’t working for my fine thin at home colored hair. My scalp feels so dirty a day after washing and has a slight irritated tingly feeling, mild itching that causes my time scratch, some tender spots on my scalp possibly from scratching and yeah it just isn’t good.
My hair feels clean on day 1 and light but as soon as I sweat a tiny bit the next morning at the gym it feels so gross. I stretch it to day 2 or 3 and my scalp feels like there’s build up and I can’t wait to wash it.
Dry shampoo doesn’t really take away the icky feeling. Had a little bit of dandruff I think from this too. Sad this didn’t work out for me. I have only shampooed once instead of the double cleanse and the same thing happens.
Living Proof full shampoo lathers really easily and rinses away giving hair a really good clean. The shampoo has a light refreshing scent and really hydrates hair without being heavy. I noticed a difference in the fullness of my hair after just one use.
My hair had just the right amount of volume more like my hair looked fuller or had a blowdry to give body, but it also left my hair bouncy, hydrated and looking healthier. My hair is very long, dry and fine but with lots of it and frizzy it frizzes up with any dampness in the air.
This shampoo also smoothed my frizz but was lightweight and did not weigh my hair down. I got longer out of my hair without needing to wash it, I have found other full shampoos can look flat the next day but with this one its lasts.
Really impressed with this shampoo and highly recommend for volume.

Reviews From Real Customers
The actual shampoo is great. It gives my hair volume without leaving a sticky substance on my hair. It makes my hair much more controllable and gives it a nice shine. However, I have to fight to get it out of the dispenser.
It does not work like it should. I have to take the pump off and shake the substance from the plastic container which actually causes me to loose part of the shampoo every time I use it.
I decided to try this during a Ulta jumbo sale. I have tried and loved the Its a 10 leave in treatments so i was excited to try this. Its a good shampoo. Leaves my hair soft and clean without weighing it down.
Its a pretty thick gel consistency though so you have to work it a tad in your hands before putting it on your hair. It lathers nicely as well and smells good. Only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t add as much volume as i hoped for but then again i have pretty thin hair.
I like this shampoo but it might add more volume to people who have a bit thicker hair than me. I will say it works nicely with the volume shine treatment.
I came across this shampoo trying to find a gentle, sulfate-free volumizer. I had bad hair casting/scalp sensitivity I finally gotten under control, which had long prevented me from using my usual Tres Semme and common brand volumizing shampoos/conditioners.
My hair for reference is very fine, straight, and tends to look oily a day after washing. This doesn’t have quite as pronounced effect as the conventional brands, but it leaves your hair feeling good (clean but not dried out; not scalp irritating) and does have some volumizing effect.
Because it doesn’t dry out my scalp, my hair also looks less oily longer than with conventional products. I don’t think I can go back to the others without my scalp acting up again, so I’m happy to continue to use this in conjunction with the Regenepure Intense Volumizing Biotin conditioner.

Briogeo needs better packaging. Their product packaging is similar to what you can find at a drugstore, if you like Briogeo products it’s probably not because of the packaging it’s because of the actual product.
But let me just say that 50% of the time you don’t even get to use the product because the packaging is so unappealing , the charcoal scalp scrub , slips right out of the container. Not sanitary to put your hands in the container every time you use it , especially if you’re like me and you like to share products with your friends.
( i recommended the one from drunk elephant. That is in a closed container, you can squeeze out the amount desired. ) It doesn’t make sense for this shampoo to be inside of a pump bottle, I’ve been using this shampoo and it’s very watery.
slips out of the hand , the pump itself gives you too much product. The shampoo itself seems like isn’t doing much better than my favorite drugstore brand. I just have to give it 1 star. I recommend drunk elephant shampoo and conditioner and Verb shampoo and conditioner over this one.
They are a lot better.
This became my everyday shampoo for when I wanted a good cleanse, soft strands and volume. I have an oily scalp problem. While it doesn’t help delay the oil production, this is able to provide a thorough cleanse, leaving my hair (and the room) with this refreshing orange blossom scent.
My most favourite thing about it is that it adds a little Zhoosh to my locks. My hair looks bouncy, with volume and, feels lightweight. It’s silicone & sulphate free, and doesn’t lather much. The one issue I do have with this is that since the formulation is runny and light, I have to use a considerable amount each time.
I feel bad that it’s all emptied out, but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is one I’d definitely repurchase.
I had high hopes for this shampoo but it’s terrible for oily hair. My hair gets quite oily and dirty and I normally wash it every 3 days, I had never had issues with my other shampoos to cleanse my hair in the past but I did with this shampoo.
There was nearly no bubbles even when I rub it in my palms before applying to my hair, and so it’s extremely difficult to clean my hair. The first time I had to use 4 pumps to even get my hair clean! Which is a lot considering how small the bottle is honestly.
I haven’t had any noticeable difference either in terms of hair volume or texture, so I’ll strongly suggest that you don’t buy it, and especially DONT if you have oily hair because this shampoo doesn’t even clean it well.
I bought this product using my MECCA staff discount and I still don’t think it’s worth the money. For reference I have thin and oily hair.

Reviews From Real Customers
I am about to turn 40 and although in the past I have bought my shampoo and conditioner I’m the grocery store usually whatever is on sale I have noticed that the texture of my hair is becoming more dry, frizzy and prone to breakage with age.
So I have been on a hunt for a hair product (s) to get back the old texture of my hair and over the past 6months have spent over $150 in different hair products mostly shampoos and conditioners. I have noticed that I also rarely finish a bottle because after a month with no improvement I pass it along and try something else.
I realize how important reviews are as I have waisted a lot of money reading reviews to not get desired results so I hope this review can be helpful. I have been using the Biolage Ultra Hydra Source collection for the past month, and I have seen promising results.
I have less frizz and softer hair. The smell is pleasant and salon like, and the bottle is a decent size. For reference I have blond highlighted hair, very thick and wavy. The problem with my hair is the strands are dry, break easily and tended to frizz up.
After using the collection I enjoyed everything however my favorite was the deep treatment pack and if I could only afford to purchase one thing that would be the one I would invest in as I believe that would make a difference on it own.
I would recommend and would purchase the shampoo and conditioner again as I have enjoyed it and found it better then any of the other products I have tried the past year at least. I am keeping my current bottle after a month about 2/3rds remain and won’t be passing it on to anyone.
Picture to to give a reference on bottle size compared to other shampoo bottles.
I have been using this Hydrasource line for almost a year now and it’s been awesome for my hair / hair type. I was happy to find that a travel size was available so that I wouldn’t need to lug the full size around.
No issues with leaking or getting product out of the bottle. This may also be good for someone if they’re wanting to try the product before committing to a full size. The only thing is that in the past I have gone through products after months of use and then noticed that it was drying out my hair, making it stringy, etc.
so the trial size may not be enough for you to make an actual decision on whether it works for you or not long term. Certain ingredients in products work wonders for certain hair properties so what’s beneficial and amazing on my hair may not work the same on yours.
I have medium to coarse hair and a full head of it. It’s long in length and growing up it was straight. As I got older and processed my hair, it began getting frizzy but still somewhat straight. After consistently using this (along with the deep conditioning mask, leave in conditioning lotion and my heat protectants) I can actually 90% air dry and use a medium / cool setting when blow drying to get it sleek straight without feeling the need to run a flat iron over it – it’s been very beneficial for my hair needs.
It hasn’t compromised the coloring done on my hair in fact, I think my results have started to last longer after my hair got accustomed to it, and my hair has a brilliant natural shine to it without anyone buildup.
I tend to only get dandruff once the weather gets cooler, usually around November-December. So, receiving this conditioner along with the shampoo from Influenster could not have happened at a better time! Since my dandruff tends to be temporary but a bit on the heavy side, I always got Head Shoulders because I figured using it once a week for a few months wouldn’t be too hard on my hair.
HS definitely eliminated the dandruff but left my hair feeling dry so I avoided using heat on my hair. It also washed the color out of my hair! Even when I would just use the HS shampoo and follow up with a pro hair brand conditioner like Redken, my hair still felt dry and rough.
I tried this conditioner after using the shampoo, right after receiving it and my hair is completely dry now. I can say there are ZERO flakes, my scalp feels refreshed and moisturized, I don’t itch, and my hair smells and feels amazing.
Even my ends feel smooth so I know the shampoo isn’t harsh, and whatever moisture my hair may have lost from being washed was replenished with this conditioner because my hair feels like silk. There is a slight tingle to this shampoo and a cooling sensation from the mint in both the shampoo and this conditioner and I love it, it feels so good on a dry itchy scalp! And the conditioner is a nice thick consistency so you don’t need much to hydrate your ends.
I will repurchase at the supply house and recommend this and the shampoo to all my friends and clients who struggle with dandruff or dry/itchy scalps!.

Reviews From Real Customers
This has been one of my diehard staple shampoos in my rotation of favorites for years. Like facial cleansers there is nothing in my routine that starts off good haircare like a quality shampoo. For those of us who dont have effortless hair and can grab anything with no issue lol finding a quality shampoo is rare with so many things on the market whether drugstore or high end literally full of just crap ingredients whether silicones, sulfates, drying agents and just endless chemicals that arent doing you any favors.
The ph (Momo is 5. 3) of products is another thing that kills our hair all our lifes if off that so many dont realize is just as bad as hard water and something I started paying attention to that has made a huge different for my fussy hair and scalp.
I have had naturally very frizzy and pouffy (not damaged at all) wavy hair all my life so always have needed a shampoo to be gentle/moisturize yet not weigh my hair or scalp down as pretty much all moisturizing shampoos that are targeted for super thick hair seem too.
That is probably why I have become an ingredient nazi on all fronts skin, body, and haircare. I’ve tried many salon lines in my life and rare of them are worth the high cost as Davines simply is. I have tried all their formulas and Momo is my absolute favorite of not having a sickly perfume fragrance as some of theirs do similar to Oribe pproducts, great formula/ appreciate the brands mission, and simply is the softest most natural light moisturizing lather leaving my hair so hydrated and soft but still feeling clean.
Couldnt ask for more and per the quality all the products from this line are super concentrated so it really goes a long way and lasts forever for me which is why I typically buy the travel size bottles having much more fresh products when rotating with my other shampoo staples from Klorane and Leonor Greyl.
The Curl Shampoos from Davines are great too and what I recomend to several friends who have much thicker kinkier hair than my more fine to medium waves. If you are chosing between Momo and Nounou, Momo definitely is the better moisturizing shampoo imo not having all the protein and keratin Nounou has considering it is for the most damaged weakest hair on top of the extra moisture provided.
Protein heavy shampoos only make my hair more dry as the case for many.
Holy grail. My curly hair is regularly heat styled and gets DRYYYY. This conditioner is VERY THICK, like a mask, and my hair just soaks it up. It is so smoothing and smells unbelievably delicious and floral.
Washing out the conditioner leaves me with literal silk for hair. Will repurchase forever and ever. Davines is also a fantastic company, uses clean and vegan ingredients, is dedicated to carbon neutrality, and reusable/recyclable containers.
I can’t say enough good things.
Edit: I’ve found pairing Dede with something heavier like LOVE or Nounou conditioner works much better! I’m giving it four stars because if I don’t use it with a heavy conditioner, it’s a frizzy/tangled mess.
Hair Type: Virgin Fine strands, but a lot Wavy blend of 2A-2C Shoulder length Normal porosity? I have traits from both low/high, so I’m not sure anymore. Hair Concerns: Oily scalp w/dry ends Frizz – Oh, the frizz! Hates coconut oil and protein – my hair gets very brittle and destroyed I saw so many great recommendations on the r/haircarescience subreddit so I decided to purchase a small bottle of it.
I should have just chosen it as a sample to add to my order because I wish I never bought it lol. I feel like this is geared towards people who have really oily and non-frizzy hair because this makes my hair SO frizzy and tangly.
It definitely strips the oils from your scalp along with the rest of your hair. I can see this being a good shampoo for fine and straight hair, but definitely not for someone with wavy or curly hair as it is too drying.
The smell is the basic floral flower scent Davines seems to like so much for some reason. I usually use a pump of NYMN green bottle shampoo to do a first cleanse to help prep my scalp for an actual shampoo since I never get any lather when I use Davines on my scalp first.
I also don’t want to waste product by using Davines twice to shampoo my hair because it’s so expensive. So I use a cheap sulfate-free option first which then helps my second shampoo with Davines more effective since it lathers up a lot more and I can distribute it around my scalp easier.
I used this with the Oi conditioner and it definitely wasn’t enough. I need to pair this with a heavier conditioner and even spread the conditioner to my roots a bit because of how frizzy it makes things.
This isn’t a daily shampoo that I would consider using, despite it being a gentle daily shampoo. I typically get to around day three before needing some dry shampoo, but that’s how it is with any of the Davines shampoos I’ve tried out so far so it’s nothing magical or anything.

Reviews From Real Customers
I thought that this would be like all the other products I have bought in vain to make my fine hair thicker. But Pure Abundance shampoo and condish are wonderful. I can’t quite describe what it does to my hair but it is not baby fine anymore.
More grip? Styles easier and looks fuller. I use with the PA Style Prep spray as recommended, and also I alternate this shampoo with the Blue Malva shampoo because I have highlights with some natural grays.
I always use the pure abundance conditioner with every wash. Thinking about putting both shampoo and conditioner on auto delivery!!.
Sadly this shampoo did not work out for me. I ended up returning it after trying it twice. I have fine thin hair that is a little above my shoulder in length so I was really hoping for some volume with this shampoo.
This shampoo did not give me any volume at all. It actually made my hair even flatter and weighed it down. I usually use Aveda’s Invati shampoo but thought I would give this one a try. After returning this I went back to that one which does not weight my hair down or make it flat.
Invati gives more volume and fullness then this shampoo.
I picked this product and the Damage Remedy conditioner up on a whim after I visited an Aveda salon. It smelled good and my hair was lackluster, so I thought, ‘Why not?’. I’m so glad I switched to this shampoo because my hair has stopped falling out, it no longer feels waxy and weighed down, and it is shiny, bouncy, and vibrant! I tried everything to bring my hair back to life; I sacrificed my length and settled with a lob haircut to cut off all of the chemical damage, I ditched bleach and went back to my natural brunette hair color, and I cut down on my heat usage, but my hair was still lifeless.
I couldn’t believe my Pureology Hydrate Shampoo was causing my hair to fall out and be weighed down! I wish I had realized sooner, but I thought it was a highly-trusted brand! Turns out, there are some pretty harsh chemicals in there and it never really gets your hair truly clean.
This shampoo will leave your hair feeling bouncy and clean. It smells amazing and this shampoo will gently, but effectively, cleanse your hair and scalp. This does not irritate my scalp at all like the Pureology did! The price is high and the product isn’t super concentrated, but it is worth it.
Thank you for making high-quality products with quality ingredients, Aveda! I’m so happy to have my healthy hair back!.

This is quite literally the best line of products I’ve ever tried. I have very thick, slightly wavy, bleached platinum hair that used to be dyed black. I use the silkening shampoo, conditioner, and oil.
It’s so amazing, I dye my hair with semi permanent fashion colors and this preserves very delicate colors like pastel pink, lavender, aqua blue, all of which I’ve had while using this. Its very color safe.
It leaves it so smooth, shiny and incredibly soft. The part that has really sold me on these is that I’ve managed to retain all the length I’ve grown out, while still bleaching my roots on the regular.
My hair doesn’t break AT ALL. It doesn’t come out in the shower, and the few strands that come out when I brush are just a few, naturally shed hairs from the root. So if you want to grow out your bleached hair I’d really recommend this, I’ve been using for a few months and my hair has grown about three inches.
Other than these I do have my hairdresser use Olaplex in my bleach and I do an Olaplex 3 treatment once every month but these are the only four products I use.
I used Aquage products years ago but quit buying them because the salon I was going to quit selling the line and it wasn’t available for sale online back then. I’ve been looking for new products because I have some dryness and breakage from highlights and thought I’d try the SeaExtend Silkening shampoo and conditioner again to see if it is still as great as it was 10 years ago.
It’s still amazing! I can’t believe nothing has changed. Companies are always changing products and so often they mess up a good thing. Not with this. Even the packaging is identical. I love the smell – reminds me of summer and the most important thing is my hair looks a million times better than it did a few days ago.
It’s much softer and shinier. I saw some of the negative reviews, and I get that it’s not going to work for everyone. All I know is it has been a lifesaver for my curly, damaged hair!.
My biggest regret is not finding out about Aquage products until pretty recently. The shampoo conditioner are so luxurious. Th formula is light-weight, silky, super sudsy (while being sulfate and paraben free!) Not to mention the smell is so captivating.
It reminds me of my favorite place in the world- Sanibel Island, Florida. The scent just reminds me of the beach, the ocean, all of it! It makes my hair silky soft while also feeling bouncy and light weight.
I get complimented by my hair stylist every time I go in because my hair is so healthy! She even carried Aquage products in her salon now. How fantastic! Lastly, the price point is great for Aquage products! Before my stylist started carrying them- I would purchase them at Sephora or Ulta!.

Reviews From Real Customers
first of all i would like to say the packaging is amazing. i also can’t believe these are $5. i purchased the blonde shampoo, Volumizing shampoo, and the conditioner ( i fg what kind it was) anyways, the first night i used them they worked perfectly.
my hair is very weird and only likes certain shampoos and conditioners. so that’s why i like to buy a variety to try new things. i js got my hair done so i used the blonde shampoo and stuff. after my shower i blow dryer my hair and it was very pretty and it smelt amazing.
it makes your hair feel really clean but for me the next week i didn’t notice a change. i notice my hair became more greasy and start to feel dirty at my roots. i obviously thought it was a great product and i totally recommend it.
it’s js not something for my hair :).
2 years ago tests result showed I had an aggressive cancer in my uterus and I had to get a hysterectomy. Between the medicines and hormones my hair suffered a great deal. It broke off, fell out constantly if I ran my fingers through it and felt like an old baby dolls hair that had been through a lot.
If I straightened my hair it was ten times worse no matter the treatments, vitamins or shampoos/conditioners/creams/serums I tried. I would just put it in a bun and not even try anymore. I found this set and thought why not.
I used the shampoo and was already intrigued because my hair felt soft after rinsing. I then used the conditioner and it was silky soft. I was so happy but still skeptical because I wanted to dry it and use my abandoned straightener.
So, I dried it- still soft and not a mess. Could I possibly straighten it and it not look fried? Yes! It was so smooth and soft without any other product- I wore my hair down for the first time in a year.
I woke up the next day and my hair wasn’t in knots nor did it look like a possible nest for a bird to lay eggs in. I was and am super happy! Only problem- it’s been sold out and I haven’t been able to get my hands on it since.
This was my first time trying or even hearing of this brand but I’m glad I was able to get the chance to do so because I’ve now found a new brand to use. The shampoo an conditioner have slightly different colored bottles which makes it easy to tell which one is which.
The bottles are easy to use an get the right desired amount as needed for your hair. It smells great an lathers up just as well in your hair. It left my hair smelling good an it has a strand revive complex which added a nice boost of shine to my hair that’s usually dull.
I also have thick really coarse hair an noticed after only one use of both the products my hair was immensely shinier, healthier looking, an much softer than normal an able to actually run my fingers throughout my hair without having a tangled mess.
I love this product combined with the shampoo it works perfectly to help bring back life to your hair not just by touch or feel but you can actually see the difference as well an smell it too.

This was my first experience with the Native brand. After trying the Native Cucumber & Mint Volumizing Conditioner, the first of my senses was directed towards the fragrance. I was worried because I’m not one to use “mint” products in my hair because they always reminded me of a medicated product.
But, the mint combined with cucumber was such a welcoming aroma! Not over powering or “mediciney” at all! So, the scent was pretty amazing to me! Oddly enough, I really liked the shape of this bottle because my bathtub area is small but looks like the inside of a body shop! I have a little of everything, so this shape (even though it was a humongous bottle) fit perfectly on the back of my tub! Then, I used the conditioner, rinsed it out and blow dried and styled my hair.
Wow…. the volume was surprisingly pretty mind blowing! My hair is halfway down my back and of medium thickness so it’s usually not all that voluptuous, but I had crazy results! My pony tail was poofed out like the way that I like it and when my hair was down it was really pretty for a change.
I was actually very surprised and impressed with the difference in my hair!.
Here’s what I’m going to say I LOVED this shampoo and conditioner for months and I am talking probably 3/4ths of a year and multiple bottle, I had my bestfriend using it and my mom. My mom had suddenly brought concern of scabs and heavy dandruff after a couple months using it….
I thought nothing of it, I went over how she should be properly cleaning her scalp and rinsing thoroughly but alas she still had that problem. Then my bestfriend started talking about feeling a build up on her hair which she hadn’t had before which brought me to the thought oh yeah I have been noticing that too, then we both started to get dandruff.
Now I can’t speak to what all they’ve dealt with in their hair lifetime but what I can tell you is I’ve had dandruff ONCE before this and I was 6 because I thought you were only supposed to use conditioner, ANYWAYS; only once before this have I had dandruff and this is not normal for me.
We deduced it down to we all use this, we all have entirely different hair types and use different styling products and routines. I am not saying this won’t work for everyone I’m just saying you’ve been noticing some differences in your hair it might not all be due to stress which is what I was blaming it on.
I have been wanting to try this shampoo/conditioner for a while now. I have very thick, straight hair that recently has become dull, dry and lifeless. I have tried so many brands and types of products to bring the volume, shine and overall health back to my hair.
Nothing worked. UNTIL I tried the Native Cucumber & Mint Volumizing Shampoo! This stuff is amazing! The cucumber and mint scent is fresh and relaxing. It has a great lather and leaves my hair feeling clean, without stripping it.
Best of all, when my hair is dry, it smells as amazing as this shampoo, feels so soft, is super shiny and FULL of volume! My hair looks and feels healthy again. I love that the Native brand is conscious about what we put on our bodies.
This formula uses just 10 simple ingredients and is free from sulfates, parabens, silicone and dyes. Plus, it’s cruelty-free, which is important to me. I absolutely love this shampoo! If you’re looking for a shampoo with clean ingredients, that smells fantastic and works, I highly recommend you try this!.

Had a bad experience with this shampoo and conditioner combo and regret buying it! I would not recommend to anyone with dry hair. My hair is thin and flat, and I was looking for a combo that would not weigh my hair down.
Within 2-3 uses, it left my hair looking like straw, my scalp had more dry patches than it had before. None of my hydrating products applied on towel dried or dry hair helped with the dryness. The winter dryness did not help of course, but the static in my hair was unmanageable, and it usually is with other conditioners.
Stopped using since it was too bad for the health and look of my hair. Other pureology products have worked better for me.
One of the best hidden shampoo gems! This is amazing and leaves my hair feeling so clean! I love to use it a day after using some sort of #hairmask. I wouldn’t recommend using as a everyday shampoo. But It does give SERIOUS VOLUME! Highly recommend this #pureology shampoo to use maybe once or twice at max in a week.
A little goes a long way, but just a heads up this specific SET is extremely hard to find in stores!!.
First time trying this range of Pureology haircare for volume. My hair is flat, fine textured and very long. Therefore, some lift is welcome. The conditioner has medium consistency and has very light scent that does not linger on.
So it is good for those with sensitivities on perfumes. After using the conditioner and matching shampoo for a few weeks, did not notice big difference, but my hair is soft and silky and less flat then before in the root area.
It gets greasy on the 3rd day as with other haircare I have used. After using it hair is very easy to detangle with paddle brush (I brush hair after washing when still wet always). Not super impressed by the matching shampoo, but conditioner seems to be good at making hair more manageable and shiny.
I do colour my hair, did not notice fading while using both shampoo and conditioner. \n0\n\nYOU\nMight like\n\nARTICLE\nBeauty Crew’s $22,000+ Christmas giveaway\n\nARTICLE\nWe’re calling it: A silk scarf will be THE hair accessory fo…\n\nARTICLE\nThe 5 big hair trends you’re about to see everywhere\n\nGALLERY\n8 of the best new beauty launches this December 2017\n\nPEOPLE / Also viewed\n\n$38.

Reviews From Real Customers
IšverstiShow in original languageI was skeptical at first about this product. I am one of those people that really cannot stand when my hair feels the slightest bit greasy after washing it. I used to use hempz moisture Shampoo and conditioner but unfortunately they don’t sell that kind at ulta.
I tried several shampoo and conditioners in the meantime including biolage, matrix, redken, and a few other small label brands all meant for color safe hair. While I found that these brands did the job, some of them left my hair feeling dirtier than before washing it.
I went out on a limb and tried pureologies hydrate and color safe line based off of reviews alone and the fact that the shampoo was sold out pretty much everywhere I tried to buy it. I ended up buying it online and it didn’t take long to arrive.
I must say that while the smell is not my favorite, a slight eucalyptus-ish peppermint scent, it is wonderful shampoo (and conditioner) that does not leave the slightest amount of residue in your hair.
It lathers great and you only need a small amount. My hair is the softest and most manageable than it has been in a long time. I have naturally wavy, coarse, and very thick hair that I dye dark brown and this does miracles for it.
I highly highly highly recommend this shampoo (and conditioner) if you can get past the not so enticing scent.
IšverstiShow in original languageThis shampoo and the conditioner was recommended by my new hair stylist since my hair is highlighted and is rather dry. Every time I go to a stylist it’s always the same thing “which shampoo do you use?” “You should be using better shampoos, your hair is really dry” so when this was recommended to me again and after seeing how soft my hair looked and felt and not to mention how clean it felt at the time, I decided to finally give it a try.
When my stylist used this on me, it smelt great. Very light and beautiful , when I started it using it, it smelled overwhelming strong of mint. So much so that my eyes would start to water and I am not a sensitive person to smell whatsoever so saying the smell is overwhelming is 100% my truth.
I thought well it’s okay, it worked so well on my hair, I can get past it. Slowly, I started to notice that my hair kept getting a little thinner in the scalp area. I didn’t think too much of it until it started to get worse and worse.
Now I can feel it all around my head and especially forehead. So much so that I could cry! This past week and a half, I have noticed that my hair has been shedding a lot, I notice that my hair falls everywhere and so easily! Just today I washed my hair with cold water (not super cold, but not warm) because I thought that maybe all of this was due to me washing my hair with warm to hot water.
Guess what ? My scalp is burning, it’s itchy and is super dry! I have noticed the burning sensation before but again, I blamed it on the hot water. Today I can feel it even worse. That’s when I decided to check the reviews and so many other people have been going through the same thing! Please do not buy this product, this and the conditioner.
I never leave bad reviews unless the product is super bad!! Like many others, my hair is usually thick and hope once I stop using this product, my hair can start to heal. Please note that I have been using the shampoo and conditioner since the very being of November of this year 2021, using it only 2x a week!! Not even a month and so few washes and it has caused so much already!.
IšverstiShow in original language** I received this product complimentary from Influenster in exchange for testing purposes ** Pureology Hydrate Shampoo is a sulfate-free shampoo that hydrates and gives her color protection leaving your hair soft and smooth.
This shampoo is recommended for those with normal to thick, dry, color-treated hair Key Ingredients: – Jojoba helps to moisturize the hair – Green Tea helps promote a healthy looking scalp – Sage supports hair follicles This shampoo feels luxurious and leaves your hair feeling the same.
The texture is creamy with a purple tint. It has a refreshing sent of lavender that is calming in the shower. Lathers well and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling weighed down after rinse. I was shocked how soft and silky my hair felt after the first use.
I usually only get that feeling when I’m getting it done at the salon. After drying my hair remained soft and gave my hair a beautiful shine. I would 100% recommend this to anyone with color treated and dry hair.
PROS: – Lathers well – Nice lavender scent – Hydrates my color treated hair well – Protects my color – Doesn’t feel heavy or leave hair feeling weighed down after rinse – Hair is so soft after use. Feels like silk – Gives hair a beautiful shine CONS: – None.
Conclusion
This shampoo is perfect for those with fine hair who are looking for a gentle, yet effective, shampoo. The shampoo is also great for those with sensitive scalps, as it is very gentle and will not strip the scalp of its natural oils.
The shampoo leaves the hair feeling clean and refreshed, without weighing it down or making it feel greasy.
