The bike was pretty easy to assemble, with help from the company. The seat is cheaply made I was telling the man on the phone. Staples just under the seat to hold the cover on and creases on the top of seat, near back.
So he said he would just send me another seat, since I was registering the bike as well as him helping me out with putting it together. Ok, but after using it maybe 7 times, the heart monitor was not beating anymore.
Called the company again to ask about it. She explained that the place on the handlebars where you hold to read your heart rate, (silver part) has to come off and be replaced. I’m like ‘Golly geeze’, I haven’t used it much.
How come it stopped working? She told me that it’s a problem with the wires in this type of bike. Anyway, I get an Email saying that because there was an issue already with my bike they were just going to send me out a whole new bike.
WHAT! I tried explaining to her that I just ordered it from QVC and have 30 days if I want to send it back. But the bike had already come to my apt. So she said it’s alright, we’ve already taken care of it, by replacing it.
And that I did not have to call QVC. Ok again, right? So now I’ll have to put the new 1 together. Not so easy having RRMS. But that’s how it went with me and my cute little fold up bike. I do like the bike, because it folds up easily and has wheels to put it out the way.
I was very pleased, and relieved at how easy it was to assemble. After I had it assembled, I came across the assembly video on QVC, go figure. One thing I want to mention, is that after I had it completely assembled, I was not able to get it to open up so I could sit on it.
It comes in the storage/folded position. After literally hours of researching how it should open, watching the videos at least 50 times, I finally took out the bolt that holds the knob that you’re supposed to turn slightly, and pull out so the bike slides into different positions.
Well, mine would NOT change positions. I gave the knob a turn and pulled on the knob which did pull out about 3/4 of an inch, but the bike would not budge. So I laid it on it’s side and I totally unscrewed this bolt, and the bike was easy to put in any position I wanted while it was lying on it’s side.
So then I put the bolt back in. Tah Dah! Hopefully, the peg that was sticking on the inside will not stick anymore. Boy, wish I had totally removed that knob hours earlier. I love this bike! It’s silent while pedaling and is so comfortable.
I’m 67 and have broken 2 of my vertebrae years ago from a fall. No pain no matter how many miles I pedal. I got the turquoise color. Now I’ll be pedaling inside instead of walking in the cold and snow to come in Michigan.
I like the the settings available on the digital read out. Semi recumbent position is my favorite position, while holding onto the handles next to the large soft seat.
With the Semi-Stationary Recumbent Bike from Exerpeutic, you can get a complete workout in the comfort of your home. It functions as a stationary bicycle and provides rehabilitation, flexibility and low-impact cardiovascular fitness.

This folding recumbent bike has a large Lcd display that shows distance, calories burned, time, speed, scan and heart rate so you can monitor your workouts. The large pedals have safety straps to prevent your feet from slipping, and a cushioned seat and padded backrest help make your workout a comfortable experience.

Reviews From Real Customers
I’ve had this Exerpeutic bike for a bit over a month now and I LOVE it. I wish I’d gotten it a year ago when I was first moved to working from home. I started looking at desk exercise options about a year ago so I could be just a bit more active during the day, and a lot of the options I saw had mixed reviews and horror stories about customer service.
I love the look of that viral TikTok bike and almost bought it, but opted for this one because it’s half the price and is made by an exercise equipment company, not an office furniture company. This bike fits my adjustable height desk perfectly.
I can get 8-10 miles in a day and not even notice! The tension has a great range and is easy to adjust—I can pedal fast on half tension to raise my heart rate, and then for video meetings when I don’t want to be noticeably pedaling, I turn the tension up to high and pedal slowly.
The height of the seat/ distance from pedals is also easy to adjust. I’m a small person, but my partner (5’11”) can easily use this bike too. The pedals and attached adjustable stirrups are comfortable, and the seat is comfortable enough to sit in for several hours at a time, and I try to swap between standing and sitting.
The bike is easy enough to move out of the way and fold up when I need to. I’ve only had this bike for a month so can’t speak to longevity, but my parents have had the exact same model for three years now (it was recommended by my dad’s physical therapist when he was recovering from a stroke), and their bike is going strong on three years of near daily use.
The only downside is that it does come in pieces and the setup process could be complicated if you’re not familiar with putting things together following a diagram, but it’s not any trickier than your average IKEA furniture.
I put it together myself in less than an hour and it’s been solid and sturdy.
So I bought this bike because I’m out of shape and needed to get a little cardio while the weather is bad outside, I like riding my bike. I read most of the reviews even the one star reviews so I was skeptical but I bought it anyway.
Shipping was faster than what they said so that was good, I chose to pick it up at the Walmart pick up location. it arrived in good condition and very well packed and while it weighs about 45 lbs, I had no problem removing it from my car and taking it into my house.
After removing all of the parts I determined that the hardware was of exceptional quality, better than most items of this type. The directions were very well written and easy to follow so I don’t know why some reviewers said they had problems with that.
I timed the assembly from the minute I opened the box and from start to finish it took approx 50 mins. I did notice that one of the pulse connectors in the seat tube was slightly deformed which would have caused a problem with the pulse detection but I took a couple of minutes and reshaped the connector and made sure that it was making a good connection when I plugged it in, this is probably why some reviewers had a problem with the pulse not working.
those connectors are easy to break because they are very small and need a gentle touch to get it right. They probably should have used a better (larger) connector than what they did but if you are careful you should have no problem making these work.
Overall the assembly went well and very straight forward. There are 2 positions that you can mount the seat bottom to the bracket depending on your height and multiple adjustments on the seat height bar, that being said and based on other reviewers, I set mine to the tallest position as I am 5′ 11″ tall with a 33″ inseam.
This position worked out perfect for me but I think if you are taller and have a longer leg inseam you may not fit this bike to well. My legs are just short of being fully extended in this position while pedaling which matches the way my outdoor bike is set up.
The seat is fairly comfortable, as I said, I am 5′ 11″ and I weigh right at 210 lbs so the longest time sitting in the seat is about 30 mins with minor discomfort. I really was expecting it to be a little worse than it was, again based on other reviews.
The seat gets a 4 out of 5 for comfort. Some reviewers had a problem with the pedal installation, not sure exactly why but I think some reviewers may never have assembled any type of bicycle in the past, if so, they would know that the pedals have reverse threads on one side and righty tighty doesn’t work on this part.
I removed the pedal straps as they kept getting in the way and I really didn’t seem to need them anyway. The provided tools while adequate and do work, I did not use them, so maybe assembly went a little faster because of that.
After all was assembled, I set it in front of my TV in our small living room and gave it a try. To my surprise everything functioned as it was supposed to and the bike really is very quite, I did not have to turn up the volume on the TV at all.
One side note, you must have both hands on the pulse detectors in order for the pulse part to work and it takes about 30 secs or so for it to give an accurate reading. The tension adjuster works well but is so loose on the lower settings its almost as if it didn’t register any tension.
When I got it to about the #4 position it seemed to be okay, I found that starting at the #5 position worked really well and the highest setting was really difficult. I spent 30 mins on my first workout and I didn’t sweat to much but I did get my heart rate up.
The wife liked it so much I decided to buy another one of these for her so we could both exercise together. It also arrived ahead of time and was packed well. It took me only 40 mins to assemble that one and found similar problems with it on the connectors.
This bike worked the same as the other and had no problems. Both of these bikes I have determined are very well built and are of good quality. Both bikes are small enough to set up in our small living room in front of our Flat Screen TV, where we watch our favorite shows while getting a workout.
The display on the bike is low enough that it does not get in the way of viewing the TV and you can still look down and see it with no problem. When we are finished, we fold them up and wheel them into the bedroom where they store neatly in the corner of the room.
Both bike’s stored together take up about a 20″ x 40″ spot in the corner, they fold up really small and I am surprised how small a foot print they take up when folded. Moving them on carpet with the built in wheels is a little challenging but can be managed, they roll really well on the kitchen linoleum.
For the $125 that I paid for each one, I was expecting a lot less so I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials used and the quality of the build. I think this bike will last a long time.
I have had this bike for less than a month now so after I use it a while longer I will try to come back and add any new experience that I have with this product. Also, I had no problems with the display on either bike like some of the other reviewers did.
Broken within 6 months. I bought this bike last summer. After a few months the right petal started making a weird sound like there were rocks bands in the center of machine. After a few days of the noise it only got worse.
I noticed little metal balls came out of the petal and the noise became unbearable like metal scratching on metal. I contacted the company who manufactured the bike and completed a form for replacement parts.
After they confirmed receipt of the form they did not respond to any of my requests for an update and have not sent the replacement part. They also have a customer service and they literally never answer the calls.
Horrible customer service. Dont waste your money one this.

It’s really hard to find a store where you can actually try exercise bikes, making shopping difficult. I’ve ordered bikes in this price range online before and they were horrible! I was lucky to be able to try this bike at my friend’s home and when he told me what he paid for it, I was astonished and ordered it right away.
It’s a really great value for the price – sturdy, comfortable for a larger person such as myself (the seat is large and firm), the pedals are aligned towards the front and don’t hurt my knees – other inexpensive bikes have them positioned almost beneath the seat which is incredibly uncomfortable on knees and hips.
The tension control transitions smoothly and the pulley rope is a nice easy-to-use addition to work your upper body. I like that you can easily navigate on the screen to see your heart rate, mph, calories burned, etc.
There is an app but it’s not necessary to reap the benefits. It folds up easily in my tiny studio which is a real bonus!!!.
A solid, stable, and folding X framed stationary bike, the sunny health and fitness SF-B2989 folding stationary indoor bike is perfect for anyone tight on space but looking for big fitness results. However, don’t let the size fool you, this indoor cycling bike is packed with features a digital monitor that displays to use the time.
I got this machine when I moved into a small apartment. Previously, I regularly used to one of Sunny’s magnetic bike models. Sadly, the magnetic resistance machine I was using is far too bulky and heavy to lug up to my new place.
This bike seemed like a convenient replacement. It is good in that it is relatively inexpensive, small, and light. However, I am already on my second machine, which has just now quit on me. I am not an intense rider, however 30min-1hr daily on the highest/close-to-highest resistance setting shreds the thing in no time.
I think the machine heats up to such a degree that the rubber part of the ribbon inside melts and shreds, and the metal wire goes with it. It is not something that can be fixed at home. My first machine destroyed itself about 3 months in (sporadic rides of avg 1hr every other day with off-weeks), and I was kindly offered a replacement machine.
This one lasted about 2 months before giving up as well. Again, I am not doing extremely intense workouts. I have felt the plastic shell heat up significantly after as little as 20 minutes of use on a mid-intensity setting.
This is likely a good option for someone who doesn’t intend on using it for serious workouts. Otherwise, the size, price, and convenience of the thing can be tempting, but it isn’t worth it.
I had kind of low expectations for this bike because of the price. But I figured, what the heck, let’s give it a go since I needed a compact, foldable, low-tech bike without any complications (like internet or bluetooth connections.
) It’s been great. Seriously. We have used the bike several times a week and it is perfect for us. It truly is old-school exercise bike, and that’s just fine with me. Regarding setup. I am not a handy gal by any means.
When I took this out of the box and saw that there were something like 74 individual pieces, I panicked. Here’s the thing, though: the instructions, which contain actual words and not just hieroglyphics, are perfect.
I took a deep breath and went step by step and it turned out to be much easier to set up than I feared. I was very impressed that all the pieces were exactly as described, were located where they were supposed to be and, most importantly, all the pre-drilled holes and such lined up precisely.
I am enjoying this lightweight exercise bike; it was just what I wanted at a great price. The bike arrived quickly and was easy to put together. It has all the features I need: speed, distance, time, resistance settings, quiet, holder for phone or iPad.
I also like that it folds easily for storing out of the way when the youngest grandchildren are here. I would recommend watching the YouTube video for this model to put it together.

This bike is great for bedrooms! I live in a 4 bedroom house with (of course) three other people and the house isn’t very big. We don’t have a garage or shed so a lot of our “storage” items are in the house taking up a lot of space, on top of that we have a thread mill so when I decided to get a exercise bike I new I needed something small, compact, affordable and can fit in a medium to large size bedroom without taking up much to any space.
Sadly I didn’t think I’d find anything like that until I found this bike on Amazon. It was $90 on sale so I added it to my cart and decided to wait on buying it, the price went down to $85 in a week and I finally got the courage to buy it because the price wouldn’t get any better.
Since I wasn’t home, I had waited around 8 hours until I could get home but to my surprise and disappointment, the price had jumped to $110 and anything over $100 was out of my price range (as I am tight on money with my surgery coming up).
I had lost hope after that because from what I could see there was no other bike for less than $100 that could fold. Then I hoped onto Walmart when I realized a product I wanted a month ago was on both Amazon and Walmart but with various prices and BAM! To my luck Walmart had the bike but cheaper! $77 is what I paid! I was extremely ecstatic and immediately bought the bike and it came in in around a week.
I put it together with ease in under 30 minutes and hopped on it to see if it was any good and I am in love! If I do say so myself. As a 5’4 female the bike fits perfectly (maybe a little to high) but I can definitely get use to it.
As I’ve said before, I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone especially if they need something that they can easily store.
The 1st bike we purchased from the store had an issue with assembling it bcuz of a manufacturer defect on the pedal. We took it back and traded it in for a new bike which was easier to assemble and everything was working.
You need 2 triple aaa batteries for the odometer/time/calories/mile tracker to work. I love the size of the of this bike if you live in a small apartment or room it’s perfect not bulky or heavy. I got this bcuz of all the gym closures from covid and when it gets colder outside it better to have the bike to workout on.
The gears are deceiving bcuz you use more of your own strength for this bike than an electronic one at the gym. I just needed this to be motivated again to get my cardio in.

I received my Exerpeutic Gold 500 XLS a week ago. It was scheduled to arrive on Monday but it arrived the previous Saturday which was great. The box arrived in excellent condition. All the parts and pieces were included.
I was able to carry the box up a flight and a half of stairs. I’m a 57 year old female FYI. I put the bike together in about 30 min. It was very easy. Unfold. Attach the stabilizer bars, attach the pedals, attach the seat, hook up the connections and voila.
All done. The bike is EXCELLENT. The ride is quiet and smooth. I love it. This was the best purchase for me. I’m already seeing results from riding every day for just 15 minutes per day. I plan on bumping up to 30 minutes per day on Monday.

I bought this bike after I waited too long to buy the recumbent bike and it sold out. I didn’t want the traditional style bike because I felt my caboose was too large for it and the bike seat would be uncomfortable.
This model was also on sale with free shipping and against my better judgement I purchased it for $129 pretax and no shipping. I am incredibly glad that I did. This was quick & simple to put together.
Anyone could put this together! The directions are easy to read and specific, and there aren’t a lot of parts to decipher what is what or where it goes. The hardest thing for me was deciding what level to choose for the seat (which turns out to be generously sized and comfortable)! It’s compact and light enough to easily move and I’m amazed at how quiet it is! I am 49, 5’1” and my weight was up to 215# when I bought this.
There are 8 tension levels on this lil home bike. I started at level 1 for 5 minutes at the beginning of January. It’s now the middle of February and I’m at level 4 and I ride for 45 minutes a day or longer.
I’ve lost 20 pounds and 15 inches of fat so far. In the end, I’m glad I had to get this style bike because I don’t feel that I would have worked as hard if I had or had as many moving body parts if I had purchased the recumbent bike.
The digital screen is easy to read and use. I hope this lil guy goes many more miles with me and I highly recommend this bike to anyone who wants to exercise and doesn’t want a large piece of equipment or a large price tag.
Knowing what I do about this bike, I would willingly pay regular price for it.
I’ve had this bike a little less than a month and I love it! My husband and my 22-yr. old both use it, as well. It’s super quiet, smooth and extremely sturdy. I saw that some of the reviews stated that if you are a short person, you will have a problem reaching the pedals.
The issue must have been fixed because I am 5’2″ and have no problem, whatsoever. My husband is 6′ and his knees do not hit the handlebars. If you are taller, this may be an issue. There are two things that I would add to this bike; that is if the display could light up and I would add a water bottle holder, somewhere.
Overall, I think for the price this is a great bike. I purchased it because my older son bought one for himself last Christmas and he loves it! I would recommend it.
Due to gyms being closed, and being stuck at home taking online and working remotely, I decided to purchase this bike for myself. After numerous hours of research, checking prices, reading reviews to even watching videos on YouTube of fitness bikes, I particularly came across this bike and I was instantly sold.
The reviews it had the majority of them are positive, and the price is not bad at all. I decided to order the bike, and give it a try. It got here earlier than expected, when I received it, the box was in good shape, when I opened it my firsts thoughts were “this is going to be hard to assemble”, but as soon as I got all the pieces out and read the instructions, it did not seem tedious at all.
Personally the instructions were not as hard to read, and I had read some reviews saying that the instructions were complex. My recommendation is to read them slowly and loud, another thing I do recommend when assembling is that some screws are already screwed into some parts of the bike, so don’t waste too much time searching for a corporate’s number to complain about the package not having the screws, because they are there!! The item came with a wrench and a hand screw (I am not sure if these are the correct names for them), and some screws and washers, as a woman who does not know the exact names of each tool, it was not too complicated to assemble.
Once it was assembled, I did a test on it to check that everything is in place, the bike runs very smooth and it is quiet to the point that when I was using it in our garage, my mother thought no one was there and turned off the light on me.
I am 5 feet and 3 inches, and weigh 175lbs, the bike is sturdy, though I guess due to my height it is pretty weird to get on the bike, I have the height set on the lowest hole, so the seat is at its lowest.
Overall, my whole experience has been great, I have not encountered myself with any issues with the bike. I am hopefully looking to lose some weight and get in shape!.

The AirBike Pro is designed for the most enjoyable “ride” you can experience. Sealed ball bearings, a closed system around the chains, and an “Industrial Powder Paint” finish ensure very low maintenance.
Console with Bluetooth – the ProBike gets its display from the Elite Bike. This is equipped with Bluetooth which allows you to connect the bike with the Assault Fitness App which will be released in 2021.
There you can track your entire workout and compare yourself with others.
March 2021 – just to be clear I am not one for leaving negative reviews. From having worked in industries with the general public I am well aware that most reviews are only written in a negative manner and can be extremely misleading however Assault Fitness have left me with little choice.
Also, my issue here is not with the bike, it’s with the warranty. I bought the Assault Airbike Classic in May 2020 and have used it most days and have never had any issues until now. I have even recommended the Assault Bike to numerous friends which will no longer be the case.
I went to use it last week and there was a loud noise coming from the pedal area when I slow the bike down. I checked all the nuts and bolts were tight which everything seemed to be. I emailed assault fitness customer services with a video of the problem and they replied in decent time.
It was suggested the chain had become lose, they sent me videos on how to tighten it which seemed simple enough. It then became clear that the assembly tools that arrived with the assault bike did not fit the bolts needing adjusted and I would have to buy tools to do this, which I did.
After following the videos I tightened the chain – no improvement with the issue at hand! So now I am a few dollars down and no further forward. Another email to assault fitness – they respond saying it now sounds like the fan is hitting the guard which I replied saying it is not.
I received another email back saying they have sent a part out but I need yet another tool to fix it and because I did not buy the ‘elite assault bike’ they will not send anyone out to look at it. They also suggested it is not an unreasonable request to take my bike to a bike shop so they can lend me the tool to use at their facility which is laughable for anyone who has felt the weight of these bikes.
The other option available was they would find someone local to be to give me an estimation of cost to fix. To be clear I would be the one covering the cost. So basically my warranty covers Assault Fitness sending parts, me buying tools and me stripping my bike down piece by piece until I find the problem and fix it with the help of YouTube videos.
My bike has now sat for the best part of a week gathering dust unused. To conclude. I am no further forward after nearly a week of the issue arising, I have no idea how much money I am going to have spent on tools by the time Assault Fitness customer service team actually guess correctly and pin point what the actual problem is.
I have never bought anything in the past that is ‘under warranty’ that I have ever had to fix myself. If anything, this would usually make the warranty void if you tamper with a bought product yourself.
I was very excited when my bike came in but It’s been a couple months and I am still unable to use it. At first the console wouldn’t even turn on so they sent me a new one for free (the customer service was quick and responsive).
Once I received the working console, I started using the bike and there’s a vicious clicking sound coming from the fan area. I cannot figure out what the noise is. It makes using the bike unbearable and I feel like something is going to break further.
So I reached out to Assault and they immediately initiated the warranty process. How am I supposed to return this large piece of machinery? I don’t have the box anymore. This has just been a headache.
The Assault bike is a beast of a machine, and I’ve rotated it into every workout I’ve done since purchasing it. I’m 53, have been working out regularly since the age of 19, and have had spin bikes, recumbent bikes, an original Concept 2 Model B rowing maching (still have it), and haven’t ever used anything that get’s my heart rate into the anerobic zone as fast as the Assualt.
I’ve been integrating tabata interval training into my workouts, completing 20 cals, with 5 cal on and 5 off, and I almost feel sick at the end of every interval. If your serious about getting into great condition and aren’t interested in the gym, put one of these in the garage and get it done.
Six months to a year of this and you will be an animal. As to it’s dependability, it feels much like my Concept 2 Model B that I’ve put 15K meters a week on for years and years and has never broken down, so I am curious to see how it holds up.

It won’t keep track of my miles. If I get up to go to the bathroom or get a water or anything even briefly- it erases my miles. Starts completely all over at 0 miles. Do you know how discouraging this is?? And I can’t find a phone number or contact for them to address this.
I want to cry because I have issues I’ve been working on, with my weight, for health reasons. I’ve been trying everything. This is so upsetting and discouraging and frustrating. I don’t even have the energy or strength or know-how to return a thing of this size… I’m a single mom… :,( just… omg… :,(.
I’m a self employed individual usually spending 10-14 hours a day sitting at a desk doing cad designs. I find my legs getting stiff usually spending so many hours idle and not up and walking around. I mostly rely on my watch telling me 1 x an hour to get up and move to stay somewhat mobile.
Recently I just had meniscus surgery and the recovery program is doing specific excersizes 3-4 x a day. That was my motivator to buy this bike, so I can use it to pedal while maybe working or doing paperwork, watching TV at night etc.
I was really happy to see the smoothness & quietness of the pedal mechanism and the ease and durability of the assembly. It has lots of adjustment in so many areas. The only negative thing I notice is the seat back not having enough forward adjustment for shorter people.
Im 5’6″ and it is still short for me, but my wife who is 5’1″ could never use it because of this one area its lacking unless putting a thick pillow behind her. I’m thinking of doing the same even for myself.
However overall I really like it and feel it has been a real asset in my recovery program.
I love the desk top, it is larger than I thought it would be. The sliding drawer was a nice surprise. The drink holders are large enough for any cup and they are deep. The seat is comfortable, love the back rest.
I assembled it myself with the easy to understand instructions. The packaging was great. I misplaced the batteries, so I haven’t used the electronic part yet. So far I am very pleased with the Exerwork 1000.

250 lbs. max. weight capacity Assembly required Consult your physician before starting any exercise program.
I bought this for the upper body arm bike to continue physical therapy at home. The lower foot bike was a bonus. But I notice the tension sticks in both areas. The lower foot bike can loosen the tension enough for better motion, even though it still feels a bit sticky instead of flowing with smooth motion.
The upper arm bike isn’t loosening enough to make the stickiness of the motion negligible. I am hoping over time and use that will help. I am reviewing it first day out of the box and put together. I did notice the foot crank and hand crank attachments were both pre-greased and sticky to touch when we put it together.
If I am having the same issue after a few days I will try some WD-40 to see if that makes a difference.
I use this exerciser to regain the strength and stamina I lost during the covid-19 pandemic. I don’t have much space, and I was looking for a small unit. It arrived in one large box. Before opening the box, I asked for email instructions to assemble it.
Hammacher Schlemmer responded within the hour, and I read the directions a few times before opening the package. My son-in-law helped me complete this, and he also read the instructions in advance. I spread out a quilt and brought the parts into the basement playroom.
The nuts/bolts/small pieces were separated and labeled in a molded clear plastic container, so I did not have to deal with many jumbled parts. The unit was easy to put together step-by-step, I found the instructions very clear.
Our only mistake was using the wrong washers in the first step, but we quickly corrected that. I tried the exerciser out and could only do 4 minutes! When I went to my health club pre-Covid, I warmed up 20-25 minutes on a stationary recumbent bike before completing the exercise machine circuit and swimming.
I am glad I finally purchased this exerciser. It has been three weeks, and I can now do 20 minutes. I don’t know if I will ever feel comfortable enough to return to my health club. In the meantime, thank you, Hammacher Schlemmer!.
I am a 68 year old woman who, before Covid-19, was very active. I bought an affordable elliptical that drains me after three minutes. In doing my research for spin bikes, I happened upon the Stamina Recumbent Exercise Bike.
This bike checked all the boxes. Affordable, sturdy, excellent instructions, easy to assemble, quiet, comfortable, and with the Back and Arm rests, it’s a pleasure to ride. I even ordered a Stamina folding mat to complete the set.
I can enjoy watching TV while burning calories. Thank you Sharper Image!.

I love this! It’s just what I needed to get in some light exercise throughout the day. It took me 2 hours to assemble by myself. This does not take an engineering degree, but it does require some patience.
Just relax and go step by step. Pros: Easy to set up and put aside for use during the day. I pedal 2-3 hours per day. The desk is sturdy and adjusts easily (up/down, forward/back, angle up/down). Easy to get on and off.
Very sturdy, very quiet. Does not wobble. Cons: Not a lot of options for adjusting the seat and the back. You might need to put a pillow behind you. Seat and back are not easily adjusted – once they’re in place, they’re set.
The seat is very uncomfortable. I’m a woman built, shall we say, on a larger scale. My sit-upon needs more support. This was easily solved by buying a wider bike seat that sits over the existing one.
I still need to stand up and move about once or twice an hour, but getting up and moving about is good for you, too. The bike will roll to set it aside, but does not roll easily over carpet. I can live with this.
I highly recommend this for anyone who has difficulty working exercise into their schedule. I can easily do my computer work while I pedal.

Let’s get started with Exerpeutic GOLD 525XLR Recumbent Bike.
PROS – Super easy to put together – Very quiet and smooth while in use – Can watch TV or listen to music while on this bike – Fits perfectly under my adjustable standing desk – Is light and easy to move around, between rooms CONS – I wish there was more resistance.
Highest level is barely perceptible – The heart rate handle bars never catch my reading, took them off Overall, this is a great bike for me to use while working or if I want to move while watching TV, which is what I wanted it for.
This would NOT be a good bike if you’re looking to get a hard workout. At a price well below all other desk bikes out there, I’m very happy with this.
This bike is absolutely worth the price. 1. This bike does take two people to put together, but the manufacturer has all the screws and bolts needed in its own little compartment on a big plastic sheet.
Follow the directions and it should be fine. Now, it did take me and my husband about 3 hours to put it together, but neither of us are really handy people. It is delivered in a big box and it is heavy.
I was able to walk it into the house and down my hallway by myself, but if it needs carried upstairs or managed more than in a door and down a hallway it will need two people to carry. 2. If you are like me, I want to know if a “plus size” person can use it without needing an emergency room visit! 🙂 Well, I am here to tell you that I was able to sit on it and ride without a problem.
Truth time. My birthday was yesterday and I just turned 49. I have bad knees, am 5′ 5″ and I weigh around 350 lbs. Hence the reason I needed a bike to hold more than 250 to 300 pounds. That did not break the bank!! Now my husband could use any exercise bike as long as it had seat/leg capacity for 6’3″ – 210 lbs.
He had no problem riding even set to my height. 3. Once I was able to pull my leg over the bike in a straddle position and sat down I rode a mile as a practice run. After the exercise it is easier to pull your leg back over the top of the bike to get off.
There are no handles except on the side of the seat if you need something to steady you. I may pull one of my kitchen chairs into the room with the bike so I can have a hold of something to steady me getting on and off for my first couple times.
While biking I found that having the side seat handles are really the only thing you need if you need to hold onto anything. 4. This review is being written on the same day it was put together.
Take a look at our Soozier Magnetic Training X-Bike. Our fitness bike is made of solid steel, 5-position height adjustment, 8-gear magnetic control resistance adjustment, and is equipped with LCD to display the current status, giving you the best sports experience.
You can burn calories easily on this stationary bike, while also toning your arms, legs, waists, & hip muscles. When not in use, the indoor bike can be easily folded, reducing almost half of the space.
Arrive a full day ahead of estimate. Opened the box and everything was well packed. All the nuts, bolts and tools securely wrapped on a card. Parts bubble wrapped. Easy to assemble just following the instructions.
Tells you what bolts and washers are needed and where. Took about 20 minutes and it was ready for exercise. Some have said that the tension is low but I felt it increase as I went through the numbers.
Plugged the wires together and the monitor started to register. It is primarily to help with mobility so in the first instance tension and details from the monitor are immaterial. Don’t know about durability but it seems to be a good purchase.
I don’t usually shop on-line. The process was NOT intimidating – it was EASY. The EXERCIZE BIKE came within 2 days of ordering!!! (It was easy to assemble; however, a few washers were too small = minor inconvenience – not much of a problem).
So, overall, I’m *VERY PLEASED* with the entire experience, and with the exercise bike. I ENCOURAGE ANYONE – WHO MAY HAVE DOUBTS WHEN IT COMES TO ORDERING, HERE – *GO AHEAD AND MAKE THAT LEAP*. (I would’ve rated DOUBLE 5 STARS, if it were possible).
1st of 2 bikes ordered. When the bike arrived the monitor was missing; however, customer service `shipped the missing part within a few days. Nice ride, perfect for low impact exercise; and folds up great for storage.
I like the bike so much I ordered a 2nd for my son.
Real People. Real Results. The Fitness Reality U2500 is designed to support up to a weight capacity of 400 pounds. It is built for long life and durability. It can be folded away when not in use making the U2500 excellent for size-limited rooms and spaces.
I must say, I’m very impressed with this bike! It took me about 30 minutes to assemble and I’m a relatively small, 5’3”, 135 lb female, so it’s not impossible, even with minimal instructions. Prior to purchasing this I was researching a fancy brand in the $2k price range but couldn’t justify the price tag, even with the fantastic marketing it gets.
As a former spinner, I have some pretty specific preferences and this one checks all the marks: easily adjustable tension levels, a comfortable seat for extended rides, flexible and adjustable straps over the feet and ample arm rests for extra support on those high tension spikes.
I have achieved a spin class quality workout with this baby right here and I didn’t pay a fortune nor did I have to go to a sweat slathered gym!.
I was really looking forward to getting this exercise bike, as I have trouble walking due to a disability and riding a bike is easier for me. The description said the bike was made for riders between 5’1″ and 6’5″.
I am 5’2″ tall and can BARELY reach the pedals, so that it makes sitting on the extra large seat really uncomfortable. I actually tried putting my walking shoes on AND strapping on another pair of walking shoes to try and make me sit better on the frame.
It did boost me up an inch or two, but then my feet quickly became tired trying to stay in the two pairs of shoes and the pedals. Sadly, I couldn’t adjust the seat down, only up. I do like the smooth pedaling and how easy it is to adjust the tension, making it either easier or harder to pedal.
The Mode button lets you select and lock on to the particular function you want; such as, TIME: your total workout time will be shown; SPEED: this shows your current speed during your workout; DISTANCE: this shows the distance you ‘travel’ during your workout; CALORIE: this shows the calories burned; PULSE: placing both hands on the metal part on the handle alows the heart rate sensor to measure the number of beats per minute; ODOMETER: shows the accumulated workout distance and then SCAN: this display scrolls through Time, Speed, Distance, Calorie, Odometer, and pulse every 4 seconds.
If there isn’t a signal (you aren’t doing anything on the bike) for 4-5 minutes, the LCD display automatically shuts off. This display takes two AAA batteries that are included. NOTE: This wasn’t in the booklet, but I figured out that I could clear the previous session numbers by pressing and holding the ‘MODE’ button until I could see all zeros.
If space is a problem, then you will love how the bike folds for storage. When open, the bike is about 2 feet wide by 3 1/2 feet long, and when closed for storage, the bike is about 2 feet wide by 2 feet long.
The instruction booklet listed dozens of parts, but a lot were already used for the “some assembly required”. Out of 89 listed parts, I only had to deal with 26 parts. It was fairly easy to put together, even when the booklet didn’t list all the steps.
For instance, after putting the pedals on the bike, it doesn’t tell you how to install the straps. You have to go to the end of the of the booklet under ‘adjustments’ to find out how to install the pedal straps.
Also, on page 12, step 4, it talks about connecting the hand pulse sensor (9a) with hand pulse sensor wire (79), then connect the computer wire (9b) with sensor wire (37) and then it says to see Pic E.
But there is NO Picture E! It only goes to Pic C. Also, on picture C, it shows 2 connecting wires for (9a) going to 2 connecting wires for Hand Pulse Sensor Wire (79). BUT, there is only ONE wire of both (9a) AND (79)!!! Some of the wires were already connected, so that could be part of the issue.
One last thing I would wish for while using this bike, is more detailed instructions on actually using the bike. Yes, I know. It’s just an exercise bike! But when it comes with all the bells and whistles, I want to know how to use those bells and whistles so that I can enjoy the bike to the fullest.
Also, the description of this exercise bike claims it has a 400-Pound Weight Capacity, but on the bike itself is a sticker that says the maximum weight capacity is only 325-Pounds!.
Very easy to get off and on the bike, providing a more effective and comfortable workout. Extended to prevent any movement or tipping when exercising. Precision balanced flywheel and v-belt drive provide a smooth and quiet operation.
Large seat cushion for people of any size. Easily adjustable to fit 5’3″ to 6’1″ user heights. Bike will fold to at least 0. 5 size, so it is uniquely compact. 8 Level magnetic tension control system, allows the user to adjust the tension level for an easier or more difficult workout.
– Bike Type: Upright bike. – Finish: Silver. – Material: Metal. – Heart Rate Monitor Included: Yes. Dimensions 31″ L x 19″ W x 46″ H. Color: Silver.
We had been eyeing to replace our 20 year old exercise bike since March 2020 and when this bike went on sale we jumped to make the purchase right away. In summary, we should have bought this back in March as this bike is a big upgrade from our old one which was so noisy.
This bike was very straightforward to assemble–there are Youtube videos that you can watch that was quite helpful for the assembly process. The electronic display on the bike is very easy to read and the heart beat pulse sensor was very close to my finger heart pulse reader i have.
We leave the bike resistance on level 6 and we have over 400 miles of use (based on the odometer reading) and for the price i don’t think there is any other exercise bike on the market that can match this (and we did over 3 hours of research on other possible bikes).
Can’t believe how little noise this bike makes–what a difference 20 years can make in technology!.

The quality looks good. Pretty easy to assemble. The part I don’t like is that the seat is stationary, and when you adjust the bike to the recumbent setting the seat is tipped back. Makes it somewhat uncomfortable.
Also the handlebars on the seat are too close. If you have a wide “bucket”like me, you’re going to be hitting those bars with your legs, and that hurts.
Don’t buy from this merchant. The box came completely damaged and inside looks like this was returned at some point. The handles bars have a tear in the black covering as well. No, instructions on how to assemble the bike.
So, don’t know if all the parts are here or not. Completely disappointed with this product.
I bought this item three weeks ago. At first tablet/ phone holder part was broken. Contacted customer service and immediately replaced it. The monitor is useless. No on and off button. That means it keeps counting the numbers from previous work out and you can’t have it start from zero! Bike itself works fine and sturdy but after two weeks start making knocking noice! We though it will go away but it didn’t! Tried to return the item but we made a mistake and throw away boxes!.

So, I’m a physically lazy near 50 year old and, with covid, gained a few more pounds. It was getting harder/more painful to go up and down the stairs. I work from home, so its easy to not exercise and I needed to make a change – lose a bit of weight, get some cardio into my routine, and just exercise generally so my knees and ankles don’t ache.
I did a lot of research, watched a lot of videos, and talked to a few people about their experiences with the Velocore. I wanted something that would keep my attention and to get the kids involved too.
My wife wanted a Peloton, but I didn’t after riding and seeing what their content was (not my style of thing to do), so I needed to find a good alternative. I’m pleased to say, the Velocore is a solid competitor to the Peloton bikes and more.
My whole family loves it and we’ve used it almost daily since it arrived. I even miss it when I skip. The options for Netflix, etc. are great for my son and me and we can stay in the adaptive zones as we go through each session.
My Daughter uses the tours and workouts more aggressively with the lean mode. I’ve used it a couple times and will use more as I get better with my balance. The session feedback on distance, how well we stayed in the zone, heart rate (it comes with a bluetooth heart rate monitor), and other stats are easy to interpret and keep us on track.
I fully expected to be sore from the workouts, but so far, only my butt is sore from the seat (may have to look at a seat more suited to this old man). The workouts are challenging, but not unattainable.
I do break out in a sweat each day. Most importantly, I’m improving both on the bike and in real life. the achiness, the ankle/knee pains are a little better too. The apps work great, there are some ‘shadows’ in the video streams, but I think this is due to the wi-fi coverage in my basement more than problems with the Velocore.
I’m sure I made the right choice and thanks for making a great bike!.
The Bowflex C6 Bike is excellent as an indoor bike. The set up is easy, the bike adjusts comfortably, and the screen gives great data while riding. Additionally, the magnetic flywheel feels very natural and works great.
Overall, the ride feels comparable to the high-end bikes I’ve ridden in gyms. However, I have had a major issue with my bike rusting. I keep it indoors, never open my windows, and clean the bike carefully & thoroughly with gym wipes after each ride, but it still rusted terribly within the first few months of use.
Bowflex customer service was very helpful and sent me several replacement parts. After a few more months with these replacement parts, both the replacement hardware and the initial parts that weren’t rusted have also begun rusting severely.
I bought this bike as an investment for my home gym that I hoped would last several years, but the rust problem is quite severe and will definitely limit the life of the bike. I have several other pieces of gym equipment and a Trek bike that I also use in my apartment, and none of these items have rusted, so I think there’s something going on specifically with the C6 materials.
I used to be a spinning instructor and have worked in several gyms, and wish I had invested in gym-grade equipment that is intended to be rust-proof.
There are a few things to keep in mind when purchasing an exercise bike for a tall man. First, make sure that the bike can accommodate a person of your height. Second, look for a bike with a comfortable seat and handlebars.
Third, consider the bike’s resistance levels to ensure that you can find a challenging workout. Finally, make sure that the bike is easy to assemble and use.
