20 Best Flush Mount Ceiling Fans With Lights (2023 Updated)

The fan was installed by a person who did other work in our house. The only thing which didn’t work was the wall switch. Looking at the manual, I thought perhaps the paring was not done. Sure enough, after finally finding the correct breaker to turn off the power, and switching it back on, then proceeding with the paring all worked as advertised.

Well, except the beeping when changing speed or light intensity at a certain step, but then my ears are not what they used to be. But it works as advertised. Basically noiseless, well at full speed there is some, but that is from the wind not the motor.

Unless something happen in the future, for the 2 months we have the product we like it. Light could be a little brighter at full power, given the large bedroom. Not sure what to do if the bulb ever burns out, which no doubt it eventually will.

Bought both the 52” and 44” sizes. Great looking fan, motor pretty much silent, and fan operation is quiet. Master Electrician installed for me in new construction. We wired the fan’s light to a wall switch, and use the remote for fan operation.

We ran thru its operation multiple times to check it. Have to reduce at least 1 star for the FIVE second delay between flip of the switch and light turning on, really annoying. I intend to contact the mfg to get some help on this.

This fan is attractive, a good size, and hangs the appropriate distance from the ceiling for my bedroom. I would really like it EXCEPT for the remote. The remote is very small and made from cheap looking plastic.

It takes several clicks on the remote to turn the light on and to get the fan working. It also only comes with a small magnetic remote holder that doesn’t work great. If it wasn’t installed, I would return it beacuse of the remote.

Our living room fan did not have an overhead light and it made our space dark and dreary, even with cathedral ceilings. This fan has completely transformed the look and feel of my space. The 52 inch Honeywell, Neyo, Modern Indoor Ceiling fan is absolutely stunning! What I love about this fan is not only the sleek, yet vintage feel to it due to the round globe for the light fixture but literally the round globe for the lights.

It makes the fan seamless and since I live in a low ceiling mobile home, this is just the most perfect fit. Literally fits in my home like a glove! But don’t worry, it does come with a downrod if you want it lower.

I can not live without airflow and this fan has helped drop the temperature by a few degrees! Just as a fan with amazing airflow is supposed to do. The light is dimmable so make sure you hook it up to a dimmer switch.

I also love that is has a remote control! OMG! It is a game changer lying in bed! I can adjust the fan speed and the light without even having to get up! The motor is so quiet and is reversible for the winter months! I am actually going to be replacing all my fans in my home with this exact model, that is how much I love it.

I did have my contractor, who has been doing some home repairs for me, install it and it was a breeze for him to install. He actually really loves the fan to and was even impressed over the remote control! It is a great fan, you will love it!.

I’m very impressed with this fan. I feel like the design is perfect for a modern look and it can go with just about any decor. I feel as if it can be used in a living room, family room, or a bedroom but I choose the living room for mine.

I love this Ceiling Fan. It has so many features. I love that it comes with a remote control, and on the back of the remote control it tells you what the buttons are for. I really like this because it has so many features I kept forgetting what did what, so I just referred to the back of the remote.

My favorite feature is that you can dim or brighten the lights. I also love that it has three different speeds and a Variable Breeze. Variable Breeze is my favorite because it really does feel like I am outside with it.

I love the reverse switch, so I can use the fan in the summer as well as in the winter. I also love the setting where the light will turn off and on randomly if you are not home. The only thing I did not like about this light is the cover is glass.

I wish it was a hard plastic instead, as glass breaks easier. Overall this fan is a great fan, and I would highly recommend it.

We love this ceiling fan even more in person than we did ordering it. It is very nice. It has a modern and sleek design and the bulbs give our dining room a warm cozy feel. I usually swap warm for daylight but since it is in our dining room, I decided to keep the warm bulbs.

The fan gives a great amount of breeze and the fact that it is considered a flush mounted fan, allows room for company to walk without hitting their head. With the light and fan, the blades are only about 9 inches lower than the ceiling.

You can flip the fan blades from the light grey color on one side to the black on the other side. Since I tend to get bored easy, I love this option! The remote is nice as well. When you turn the lights off, it gives you enough time to leave the room before going completely dark.

Overall, we are extremely happy with the Kyrra ceiling fan and light by Prominence and would definitely recommend this product for any room in the home.

I now have four Modern Forms fans. Three of them are Aviator Smart Flush Mount fans. Pros: They are awesome fans. They are well built. They are quiet. The fans work well with the Android App (I haven’t tried the iPhone app) as long as you don’t have multiple subnets.

My phone needs to be on the same subnet/Wi-Fi for some reason to operate these fans from the app, which I do not have to do with the rest of my smart/IOT devices. In the app, you can group fans together so they can be controlled all at the same time, which is nice.

I would recommend these particular fans, as long as the consumer understands the cons I’ve listed below. Cons: The Modern Forms customer support is absolutely horrible. They don’t respond to emails at all, except for the auto response that you receive (trust me, I’ve tried over ten times).

Even their phone support is horrible. They don’t want to honor their warranty or help you in any way. Lumens, however, has been good. They have picked up the slack where Modern Forms has failed. It takes a while (a couple weeks overall) to go through warranty issues with them, but I’ve had two so far and Lumens has helped me get things resolved.

Also, the wall control is kind of cheap feeling. If you push on the buttons too hard, you might break it. Thankfully, I believe many smart switches out there should work with these fans if you are up to the task of getting everything connected.

Also, from my experience, not all Modern Forms fans are built as well as the Aviator. I also have a Woody 60″ and it just feels cheaply built with poor quality control compared to the Aviator fans.

Love this fan. Faux finish on the distressed koa blades looks very good. The fan motor is silent. The only noise is from the air movement and then only on the highest speeds.

This ceiling fan is really just the perfect size for a smaller room such as an office or bedroom. This fan has been such a welcome addition to my home office space. It came with instructions and the assembly and installation were quite simple to follow.

We had it installed and working in about a half hour. I love that it also has a reverse direction option to it’s great for circulating air or for cooling a room. It’s 3 speed motor is really quiet which makes it the perfect option for a smaller space as well.

It has a great, modern look and really made my office space look great. I’m really happy with both the size and look of this ceiling fan. A larger, full sized option would have just been too large for this space.

I think this fan is so cute, it is smaller than our other ceiling fan and has only 3 blades. But, this size is perfect for our daughters room. It fits just right in there. Having only 3 blades also reduces the amount of energy needed to cut back on the cost to run.

It looks so nice and works so well. When standing near the fan it gives off just as much air and feels just like any other larger ceiling fan. It has the same powerful wind production and looks wonderful.

It did take a bit to put together and install but you will have that with any electrical product you want to install. It wasn’t any harder than expected. I love this and would recommend to everyone!.

We recently made some renovations to our home and have been looking for a smaller bronze fan light combo for a downstairs bedroom. I am so glad we came across Honeywell’s 30” Ocean Breeze Ceiling fan! It has three speed reversible motor as well as reversible blades- light oak/chestnut for versatility and decor choice.

It’s a timeless modern look which will age well. It comes in a compact box, easy to lift and move and is the perfect size for smaller spaces. It packs a lot of power still and is perfect for keeping the AC off but the bedroom cool.

You can’t go wrong for the look, quality, size and power. This fan has it all!.

1st Fan: “Clicking” or “Ticking” sound when running fan for more than a few hours at any speed. Clicking noise varied with speed of the motor. – No, it wasn’t the pull-chains hitting the glass lamp globe or a loose fan blade or any other installation related problem.

2nd Fan (warranty replacement): Same problem as 1st. Diagnosis: Poor lubrication (from factory) causing bearing noise in motor assembly. Solution: Remove fan from ceiling and carefully apply 3-in-1 Electric Oil to top and bottom bearings Result: A quiet fan that has remained running quietly for the last week!.

This is a great fan that moves a lot of air. Rubber mounts, well-balanced blades and a shroud over the motor make it very quiet in operation. Assembly and installation was quite easy as we have an older home with the outlet box securely anchored to the joists.

New homeowners may not be so lucky. The fan blades are reversible white/brown. Our recommendation is to use the white colour. The only flaw in the design is the candelabra base for the light bulb. The fan comes with a 60-watt incandescent bulb but an energy-efficient LED with a high wattage is difficult to find.

That reduces the value of the product somewhat.

Glad this deal was offered to me at an even lower price then first was asking. Changed the globe to clear old one had around the house. Used wood grain side of blades. Looks and works great.

This fan is nice but the provided bulbs are not very bright for a kitchen. Increasing the light output (lumens) is not possible without exceeding the manufacture’s limitations. To make matters worse, finding the original bulbs or their equivalent is an issue.

The original bulbs put out 800 lumens of light with 6. 5 watts of power. The manual states that replacement bulbs must NOT exceed 6. 5 watts. That rules out the use of the so called 60 watt equivalent bulbs that are rated from 7 watts to 9 watts.

There is nothing available (that I am aware of) at Home Depot that is rated at 6. 5 watts with an 800 lumens output. It would seem that Home Depot is selling this fan/light but does not sell the original replacement bulb or an equivalent.

The closest available with 800 lumens output has a 7 watt power rating and that exceeds the Hampton requirements for this fan. Another thing to consider is that the original bulbs so not have a built in converter as do most LED bulbs.

Does that mean regular LED bulbs, with a built converter, should not be used in this fan? If not, the availability of correct bulbs is an issue.

A nice quiet fan, evidently of good quality. Slightly more difficult to install than some fans, primarily because of the ceiling-hugging design, but well worth the effort. The 3 speeds are well chosen.

The dome shaped lamp has a replaceable bulb which doesn’t evenly illuminate the frosted glass lens and is not terribly bright. Extra hardware was included. I can’t imagine any comparable fan being any better than this one, especially factoring in the remarkable price.

Because I’m extra cautious, I added 4 extra screws to the mounting bracket, so the electrical box isn’t the only support for the fan. I’m very happy so far. If the fan is durable, and I have no cause to think it won’t be, this product is the answer!!.

Excellent value for the price !! Looks expensive and elegant and is very quiet and honestly I couldnt be happier !! As far as lasting and performing well over time I have no idea , but from what Ive saw so far Im highly certain it will hold up fine anyone questioning whether to purchase one of these let me make it easy for u JUST BUY IT !! youll be glad u did I run mine every night n its great.

I love the design of this fan, however the functionality is lousy. I didn’t realize until receiving this that you can only use their controller, which has tiny buttons (impossible to use easily if you’re walking into a dark room).

And you cannot use a standard switch – there’s a 5-10 second delay once you hit the switch to any action on the fan or light. The wireless features are over complicated, all I want to do is turn on my light or fan! Bummer.

YLighting was great with the return. Now to find a fan I like.

We are very pleased with this fan. Works great on our teeny, low-headroom porch. Has dimmer style fan speed and light (separate). Installation ws not a breeze. I am not a pro, but have installed a few over the years.

I managed, but but took some head scratching. Electrical OK. I was okay with quality as opposed to previous reviewer.

As a Custom Home Builder I spend a lot of $ with Build. com This is the worst Fan I have purchased from them. Hausing metal where blades are mounted is very skinny metal ‼️ There is no way to balance, fan is wobbling ‼️ I’m very disappointed with this expensive fan.

This is a beautiful, well-built fan/light! After receiving super helpful advice from customer service (thank you, Lumens!), we purchased the Velo DC Flushmount Ceiling Fan (Modern Fan Company) in the Nickel/Bright Nickel finish.

It’s uniquely contemporary – a chic design with clean lines – but isn’t trying to be the main focal point of the room. The electrician had no problems at all installing it. And, since we’re gearing up for summer (110 here in the desert), the various fan speeds (very quiet) will be welcome relief! Also, the lighting is dimmable – so perfect for a bedroom.

We’re extremely pleased with this purchase – start to finish!.

Love this Harbor Breeze brushed nickel fan! Install was easy and instructions were simple to follow. This creates a huge breeze and with only 3 blades! I love this because my kitchen is on the smaller size but gets so hot but this fan makes a huge difference.

The design is sleek and looks awesome and I love the LED lighting because it radiates light to every inch of the room. Our older style fan only gave off a yellow glow. even with an LED bulb in it. I highly recommend this fan for a kitchen or bedroom.

It sits flush which is great too so it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. Great quality and design and makes any room look so much better.

I love this fan. It’s over our bed so looks and function are important. I use it almost nightly in the warmer months (no AC). The light is nice and bright too. Remembering to use the remote vs wall-switch to turn it off (so the remote will be able to turn it back on in the middle of the night) takes a bit of remembering.

I purchased 3 of these fans. They are extremely modern looking however on the smaller side. They are great for a very small room.

The fan looks good , assembled easy, functions on all three speeds, the lights work as well. The draw back is the motor has a very loud hum! I tried to address this with the seller but was ignored. I have hearing loss so If I can hear it it has to be really loud! I am Kind of concerned that the motors may be defective causing a larger than normal amp draw and that is possibly the reason for the loud motor hum.

This is a really cool ceiling fan. At first we thought two bulbs were blown but it has a feature where you pull the string once, two bulbs come on, pull it again, they go off and the other two come on, and pull it one more time and they all four come on.

Had no idea how or why it does this but it’s really cool. My grandpa enjoyed simply because you don’t have to have all 4 bulbs on at once.

Nice looking fan. I had 2 of these already. Recently bought one for my kids bedroom. This one doesn’t perform as good as the other two. It doesn’t pick much speed causing not enough air flow like the other two.

It’s already installed, not sure what i can do anymore. Pretty happy with the other two but I get disappointed when i look at this one. I hope there was a solution without uninstalling it or paying more to an electrician.

I work in the electrical industry and I see lots of different styles of electrical products. It amazed me to finally see a well design electrical device. The wiring install is easy, there is lots of room for wiring, something that has always bugged me about devices these days, having big hands is a pain.

The blade install is such a good idea, my wife can easily reverse the blades if she so wishes, no dis-assembly required just to change the style. Such a good idea! Pros: Fan moves tons of air on medium or high, is very quiet for such a priced fan, great light when 3 NORMAL BASE lights are used (Don’t need to settle for a 400lumen bulb, I can stuff an 800 lumen in here no problem, A19 base!) and it looks really nice.

Cons: Literally the only fault I find with this fan is it shakes a bit when at high speed, but it moves so much air on medium that it’s not a problem!.

I had bought one of these ceiling fans before and decided to buy one for another room. Packaging was terrible with screws and washers loose in the box. Luckily I was able to find them all otherwise I’d have returned it.

It was a cheap fan ($99) but I still would’ve expected not to have to deal with this kind of mess. I suspect this is another Chinese knockoff. !!!.

White ceiling hugger fan for low ceiling in our bedroom with light walls. This fan is quiet and efficient. It is my first fan. I would have preferred to find off-while, matte finish rather than glossy white but the quality of this Minka Aire fan became more important to me than the looks of it.

The reviews I read were positive about the anesthetics so plenty of people like it’s looks. I purchased it with help of several members of Lamps Plus staff who recommended it to satisfy my top concern for quality, and for a quiet, non-noisy fan, without seeing it first.

They are right. it’s a great fan. When I set it on high speed, the blades turn so fast that I can hardly see them. It’s very quiet on low and medium speed with just a little noise on high speed but not objectionable.

It maybe be the sound of the air swooshishing, and a little bit of minimal wobble because, as I understand it, our 43-year-old bedroom ceiling is not perfectly flat which affects the noise a fan makes to some extent.

I had a certified, skilled electricisn install it and I have no doubt about the quality of the installation. I will soon get another fan from Lamps Plus for the area of our house that has vaulted ceiling since this has been a good experience.

The color of the LED light is distasteful to me and it is not possible to change it.

Clean look. Quiet operation. Simple installation (compared to many other fans). Full function remote control including being able to reverse the rotation. Not many fans have that feature. Improved light output with LED over older models.

Previous models used a halogen that wasn’t that bright nor was the light evenly distributed across the shade. I used to only recommend these if the light kit wasn’t going to be used or wasn’t the only light source.

The LED module changed that. I have installed more than a few fans over my 20+ years as an electrician. This is the one I recommend.

It’s an average ceiling fan that does it’s job. Nothing special. It also doesn’t provide enough light to illuminate the average room size. I do believe that for what it does, that the price should be a little less.

However, I am pleased with it overall and would buy it again if the price is around $30.

Got it. Has a drop ship tag from Home Depot. Save 10 bucks, buy it at Home Depot yourself. Also, like another reviewer says, it has a low pitched hum, making it almost impossible to run on high speed.

I’m good because it’s in a small room and I can use medium and it’s fine. It is quite noticeable, and I’m hard of hearing.

The fan is quiet and works good, the only problem is it’s not Hampton Bay. Nothing on packaging or fan, or manual identity a Hampton Bay trademark of any kind. False advertising as nothing ties this fan as the quality trademark advertised.

It’s only listed as a Hugger 52″ fan. If your expecting a Hampton Bay trademark don’t buy it. However, it is very nice for the excellent price. Ty.

Awesome fans! Very stylish , quiet fans. These are smart fans. Still works if your home is older. When the fans are on the light on the switch is red. Off is green. One would think it would be the other way around.

An electrician needed to install them for us because our home is not a smart home. Otherwise there would be 5 stars in every category.

This ceiling fan works super well, the quality is amazing and what I like the most is that it works with Alexa. I love it highly recommended. Looks beautiful in my master bedroom. It took us about 2 hours to install it because we are not technicians, we only read the manual, we are happy with the operation.

We do not have to get out of bed to turn it off or on we just tell Alexa and issue solved.
