20 Best Flag Football Defense 7 On 7 (2023 Updated)

Been using this for a couple of days now and surprised how well it does in fact come back to you. Tried it on two different brick walls, one smooth, one very rough and jagged. Obviously the smoother the wall the better and more reliable it is.

Great practice for hand-eye coordination, I like getting farther back from the wall and just throwing it harder and higher. Also gives you a great workout!.

I have owned this ball for about 6 months now. It is okay but the grip is very bad in the cold; it feels like plastic. I am a QB in HS and I like this ball when playing with my brother, but if you are trying to become a better QB don’t buy this ball for that reason.

Fun ball to use with friends, however, the grip is hard and rough sometimes.

As someone who has used dozens of footballs in my lifetime, this is one of the best I’ve used EVER. The grip is second to none and is light as a feather perfect for backyard play with kids or training to be on a team.

The design and paint on the ball comes off very easily but the ball itself is very durable.

I bought this for my son and he loves it. His friends and him play with it all the time. He says it is very comfortable to grab and to throw. Very durable. Highly recommend for any football lovers.

Shipped on 10/5/20 and writing this on 10/18/20. shipping was fast. visor was a bit challenging to install on speedflex helmet but fit was acceptable. first game came home with one light and one heavy scratch just across the right field of vision.

second game was in the mid 40s and dry but my son had to remove this at halftime in order to play as it kept fogging up. He said in the second quarter, he had to tip his head up to look under the visor or he could not even read a jersey number.

So much for the third bullet on the box bragging “anti-fog performance and scratch-resistant durability”.

Super clear shield. A little difficult to get it exactly where my son wanted it placed and angled but with Dad’s persistence and a little elbow grease he was able to get it the exact angle. It has held in place without any movement and has the perfect “cool factor” my son was looking for while protecting his eyes from debris and from the sun glare.

When it’s clean it’s so clear I often forget I’m wearing a visor. My complaints are it fogs very easily and is of the visors I’ve owned is probably the worst when it comes to fogging up. One of the clips also broke off mid game on contact.

Originally purchased traditional football, but it was so hard. Heard about this version that is softer for youth and similar to the ball used in flag football. I highly recommend, however the description on the Dick’s site is misleading.

There is a 9. 99 version that is mini, but the 11. 99 version is pee wee/ junior (details and photos also indicate mini). After contacting customer service, I verified size and ordered. Perfect for my 8 year old and he can use for quite a while.

Bought this for my two year old nephew for Christmas. He loved it the moment he got it. Perfect size for him to carry around. Deflate it a bit and it’s soft enough that you don’t need to worry about it damaging anything.

We love this football! Its the perfect size and weight to learn to throw and catch for smaller hands, and the routes on both sides are ingenious! Well-designed and good quality. Would highly recommend.

These socks were thicker than expected and made really well. I was told by parents to order a size up because they run small. But that was not the case. Socks run true to size, order based on shoe size.

They are made to fit snug so they don’t roll down. Overall we are very happy with our purchase.

The socks are a great quality and the color is just as shown on your website. Our players especially like that the top of the sock does not have a restrictive elastic band, but rather rather more of a graduated tightness so they are very comfortable and stay in position.

Ordered smalls and Mediums. The small was not quite as tall as I thought they would be, but they stretched and still worked under mid calf baseball pants, but they are pretty tight. They fit, but I’m not putting them in the dryer! The medium is a big difference from the small.

A lot bigger and prob more accurate in size. Seems like there should be a size in between the small and medium.

Superb value in this Goalrilla Tackling Dummy. Although it isn’t self righting, the low cost compared to the Rogers “Move” makes it ideal for individual, home use. At purchase, I was somewhat concerned that the dummy height would be too short for my 6-foot frame, but it is plenty tall for me.

Good value for those interested in serious training!.

Purchased online, was waiting for me at dicks when I got there. A little lighter than I expected, but absolutely perfect for teaching my 7 year old proper tackling technique. Even stands on its own so we can run a blocking pad to tackle drill.

To the mom who’s freaking out about what its made of: all foam products are made with things known to the state of California to cause cancer (California recognizes everything to cause cancer). The notice to wipe it down after use is to clean off the sweat, which is known to mildew if left on its own.

This product will not cause cancer from tackling it (if you’re that much of a worry wart, why is you kid playing football?).

I received this football a few weeks ago. It takes me back to the days I used to play with one that was similar. It’s not a “real” football. What I mean is it is only used to get an understanding of the sport and play around.

The feel, weight, and material are completely different in a “real” football. This football is good for a kid wanting to play a backyard game with his friends and doesn’t want to worry about losing the ball or not.

The material is just rubber including the laces. It’s easy to deflate/ air up. Would recommend as a gift to a kid that is wanting to just throw the ball around. I received this product at a discounted price in return for my unbiased review.

Got this football for a ten year old. It was exactly as pictured and inflated. He loves throwing it around, kicking it, and is the right size. Please note this is not an official sized football, it is a junior size, and is meant for kids, not an adult.

It has good rubber stitching for ease of gripping the ball, but it is not the fancy leather ones. Overall, a great football to throw around and play with. Nothing special but a good everyday football for a kid.

I bought these for my grandson. He’s seven and regular sized footballs were too awkward for him to handle. There are just the right size for both him and me to pass around outside. Excellent quality

I got these over the winter when my team spent a lot of time training indoors. I decided on these padded sliders because of the raving reviews and all the great things I had heard about all the Storelli protection products.

I want to start off saying that this is the best $60 you will ever spend as a goalkeeper once you decide that these are the compression shorts for you. If you played on concrete with these, your hips and quads would not feel a thing.

You could be working on fly’s all day and not feel a thing. The style padding that these shorts use is an incredibly dense foam that absorbs the constant pounding from the ground and allows you to carry on longer and train better.

The only negative that I have about these has little to do with the actual short, but more do do with the nature of padded compression gear. They are cumbersome, and for this reason I would be tempted to order a size smaller than I usually would, but that is just because I prefer compression gear that is tighter and a little shorter.

Overall, I highly recommend these to any level keeper for training or for match play. WHEN you purchase these, I guarantee you that you will not regret it.

For the price this is a great football. I found it at Five Below. It feels sturdy and seems like it will be used for a good bit especially for a toddler. Even older kids if they want to practice at home.

If they lose it or it gets destroyed it’s not a total loss for $5.

Would be nice to package with smaller ball to coordinate with the size of the outfit. But it’s a great ball!

Awesome flag. All the colors are so bright. My daughter loved it. It was replacing a flag that she has had for years but was tattered and torn.

Good concept. Poorly engineered. The Net structure has holes to bolt into the orange frame. However, the frames holes and the nets holes are almost perpindicular to each other, making it impossible to attach.

And the connectors to the ramp are little better. They could have devised a way to quick connect/disconnect the ramp so the collapsing frame would collapse (novel idea), and it could be stored and transported easily.

Purchased for 17 yr old. Constantly uses it- even in the house creates constant touches. I am sure when weather is better it will be an outside training tool.

This was the only available choice in stock. The concept is great however it is really hard to access the laces should they come out of the loops are need replacing. They don’t feel sturdy like the will hold up.

Mostly made of cloth. It’ll do for now but we will be replacing them as soon as more options are available.

Make sure that you loosen these shoes up properly before using. Otherwise they will be near impossible to put on. Other than that, a perfect and affordable cleat. Using these have most definitely been worth it.

spiral passes in the end zone with Accuracy and finess but is that going to get this team over the line. Here comes the snap AND ITS A FAKE. he drills a sharp pass to his wide reciever and its good for the first down.

Definitely bigger than I was expecting. I thought it was going to be a mini football, but it’s definitely a full sized ball. My son loves it & plays with it often. Good quality, especially for the low price!.

I bought this a month ago. Within a couple weeks, the edges of the covering (fake leather) started pealing. My boys pealed it off and it looks like junk now. I’m disappointed with the quality. I know it wasn’t expensive, but I thought it would hold up better than it did.

I bought my first Wilson football over a year ago. Since then it has been madness. I am on the fourth football that I have returned and received again. The consistent problem is the seams. They are always off-centered which produces a horrible spiral.

I have a Wilson duke football from 2019 which is perfectly crafted. It was gifted and the seams are directly centered. The next year, I decided to buy another. It came in and was not even close to the original product, the next one came in and looked good but wouldn’t hold air, the next one had seams that were off.

And if you can see below this one is pretty bad as well. Honestly hoping they just send me a gst this next time. Ive had about enough with the duke. Seems like they keep the quality ones for the league and sell the defective ones to the fans.

I’m confident that wilson can make them right because I’ve seen them made right. However there’s no way they should be selling these poorly made footballs for +$100.

So I have established a reputation of being the cool uncle and maintaining that reputation is a top priority of mine. That’s why I decided to go with this miniature football. This ball did not disappoint and my reputation as the cool uncle is more solid than ever! After I got this football I immediately started playing inside the house which of course is against my sister’s rules but what is she going to do to me? I’m a grown man that has proven myself unresponsible in determining what is appropriate for inside play multiple times so she knows what she’s getting every time she invites me over.

My nephew loved this little ball. We had a great time playing with this ball until an errant throw sent the ball into a lamp but lucky no damage was done. More good marks for the football.

This is actually not a bad ball, but I didn’t feel like the “grip” rating on the box matched the grip that the ball had in comparison to other Wilson balls that are a little bit more expensive, so I returned it.

With a lot of footballs, for some reason, they have some sort of surface protectant added to it and you need to wash it off, or prep it, prior to playing with it. So that’s what I did. It helped a little bit but not a lot.

Unless I actually sprayed some tack spray on it, I couldn’t grip it the same way that it’s supposed to be gripped, therefore, there’s no way you can actually throw the ball correctly. If you spend a little bit more money, you could get a much better grip.

Or you can spend a lot more money and get the best grip.

I have purchased 5 Leather GSTs over the past 2 years. I had a deflating issue with our 1st ball. Since then, I added a few drops of glycerin to the inflation needle prior to pumping to the new footballs.

This helped the inflation needle glide into the stem, preventing punctures, cracks and stretching. All of which will lead to air leaks. No more deflating issues since using glycerin. But, I am truly disappointed with the quality and detail of these footballs.

Especially the smaller balls (pee wee and junior). The noses on these footballs are hideous! Some have bigger underbites than a British Bulldog! The sewn-in stripes aren’t flushed at the seams because the leather panels are so badly misaligned during construction.

It is troubling to think that these leather GSTs are made in the United States, and even more troubling to think that whomever is inspecting these doesn’t see a problem with defected or irregular footballs prior to leaving their facility.

Leaders at Wilson, managers, quality control personnel, factory workers. you have to do better.

This version of a football is great for younger children to learn to catch. I play for hours with my grandson who is now 8. At 5, he was still afraid of catching a ball. This solved the problem. Now I throw and he hits it with a baseball bat for practice.

I bought one for my 3 year old grandson to learn to throw and catch. I love it so much I bought one for myself to use at the beach.

This is a great toy that can be taken anywhere and provide hours of fun for adults and children alike and even the odd dog too! Easy to take to the beach or park or garden or anywhere really. Highly recommended.

When a Nerf Vortex Howler football sailed past me on the playground at the elementary school playground where I work, I picked it up to toss back to the students – and I was hooked! I bought one each for my grandsons ages 9 and 17.

The 17 year old thought it was great fun when he and I played, and I hope the other grandson will, too, when I give it to him on Saturday. Highly recommend!.

i bought this for pick up games as it was the cheapest leather game ball wilson makes, i was debating to buy a GST but i chose this since it was apparent that it was very similar, however the stripes are not sewn, they are painted, if i had known this i would’ve bought a GST, but regardless it is a great football but i would reccomend watching wilson’s video to break it in and mudding,as it is pretty slippery out of the factory, i love how big the laces are and the grip on them, great for throwing bombs down field.

I was skeptical about this product but was pleasantly surprised with how slick this football actually was! I enjoy utilizing this training tool and so do my clients.

I just got this for my son, who is entering his freshman year. He catches the ball really well, and this will only make him better.
