My daughter is the biggest animal lover. The dog house and pup set comes with the dog house, stuffed dog, dog toys and feedings dishes. The dog house is equipped with a storage drawer for the dog toys along with placement settings for the feeding bowls.

It has proved its self to be durable. The set allows my daughter to use her imagination and feel as if she is caring for her own pet! I couldn’t be any happier!.

Gorgeous toy, my daughter absolutely loves it! I love the colors, such cute, little puppy. My favourite part about it has everything that teaches how to take care of the dog:brush, bowls, pillow, toy for puppy.

I think it’s great for pretend play and developing imagination. It is not big and can easily travel with my kids for them to play on the go. All in all, I’d buy more of these.

My 4 year old absolutely loves this dog house and pup set. The set comes exactly as advertised. The doghouse is pretty spacious, the puppy fits perfectly and the accessories are a nice bonus. My daughter loves creative play and comes up with many different scenarios with this toy.

We are training our new family addition , 3 yr old rescue. Trainer wanted us to get this as his “place “ He already has the guest room with a queen size bed. But he needed a place to go and chill while mentally soaking up the commands being given.

He loves it! Jumped right up and laid down ! It’s light and easy to move around. Once he learns not to run off , we’ll take it outside too !.

I like that it was really easy to put together and absolutely love that it is light weight to move around. When I started to move it to different parts of the lawn though one of the legs did keep falling out, until I realized that I didn’t have it pushed in properly.

I think it would be helpful if there were some type of clicking/locking mechanism so that you know it’s locked in correctly, one that would be easy to unlock to breakdown for travel or storage. My service dog absolutely love it! It’s been unseasonably hot here, for early in the season.

Every time I move it to a different part of the lawn, she goes and inspects it, then lays down in it to “reclaim” it as hers. It’s a little big for her now, I got the large breed bed, but she’s only 6 months old now, so she’ll have lots of room when she grows bigger.

I like the bed. I can tell it’s sturdy due to the extreme difficulty of putting it together. I work out, daily, and yet I cannot get the last part inserted. ugh! I’m sweating, muscles aching. had to abandon & wait for help to finish assembling.

I’ll update after it is completely assembled & let you know how my 90 lb German Shepherd-Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy likes it. If I would have known how much this would hurt me, physically, to put it together.

I would’ve NEVER purchased it in the first place.

The floor and wall panels are very thin and no effort was made to smooth manufacturing burrs. The floor design is horrible and I had to use a great deal of duct tape to secure it. The tabs to connect the parts are too small and readily disconnect.

Also, there is no ground clearance at all – I had to elevate it with a skid for snowy weather. The only good thing is final appearance. It looks as good as the ad.

Received it fast from shipper, Some plastic panels were a little bent/warped when they came out of the box and when you are assembling can be a bit challenging but no reason to throw in the towel. I give it 4.

5 out of 5 stars so far overall but I haven’t had a chance to weather test it outside against the heat, rains and winds that we will be experiencing during the tropical rainy season in South Florida.

Look forward to see how well I think it will hold up during this period and also year around. In addition but not as a necessity I plan on adding a new plastic sheet underneath the new elevated level concrete platform and some new comfortable bedding which will be inside covering the plastic flooring base for our priceless family dog.

Also due to the nature of the tabbing in assembling this dog house which could be alot better in my opinion, I decided to glue the two piece plastic flooring base together for more strength something that I didn’t have to do.

I might decide in the future to glue it all together but for now until I complete all the weather testing I will leave it as is. I would suggest to the manufacturer to make the instructions a little clearer/easier to read, make the tabs snap together better and easier, add more vents on the sides if possible, replace the twofront pieces of plastic with screening and as a after market item a battery operated fan/heater that you can install to keep your dog cool or warm.

Overall I believe that it is a good value for the money and it needs some basic improvements to be a great dog house. Thanks, Bye.

Easy to move and set up. We live in the south and this was a good house for my daughters dog to stay out of the winter winds while on the front porch. A decent size dog bed fit inside perfectly! It’s light weight and easy to move around.

It is not the most sturdy dog house but it looks great and I got a great deal with free delivery online!.

worth the money? not really. “requires no tools to assemble” well for the most part that is correct, however, there is a metal type frame for the door where you have to put two (2) screws in the bottom part of the framing.

which requires a screw driver. Putting it together was not too bad, took about 30 min roughly. It came with picture instructions which were sort of clear yet a little confusing but manageable. (i guess).

write up states ‘side panel that opens into a large porch’ which lead me to believe that you just twist the lock and fold down that panel. That is NOT what you do, you twist the lock to open and PULL OUT the panel, then turn it upside down and lay it out for the PORCH portion.

For the money i feel that the DOOR FLAP should have BEEN INCLUDED! in the FAQ states “Additional accessories may be purchased from the manufacturer’s site” good luck on that one. could not find the flap there.

so no flap. I used towels and blanket for the bottom instead of trying to purchase something that would fit for comfort. Bought this for outdoor stray kitties, to keep them warm and dry for this winter.

Since i just put it up outside an hour ago, not sure if they will use it, but if i am able to post an update i will. I personally don’t think it’s worth the money. if the price was lower then yes. would i recommend it? maybe.

depends on your personal application and how much you want to spend. would I buy this again. I’d think twice before getting another AT THIS PRICE.

This house was relatively easy to assemble. The only hard part was trying to fit the “chew guard” (presumably for dogs, as this is technically a dog kennel/house). There are no holes for where the screws anchor in the plastic, so we had to drill them.

We couldn’t just apply enough pressure with the screwdriver to get them through. It will be interesting to see whether this house “stays put” during some of our high winds, but it seems sturdy enough and will surely provide shelter from the rain.

The doorway opening is large enough that our feral and stray cats are comfortable going inside to explore. No one has “claimed” it yet, but these are early days, and this house is “washable” (unlike our other wooden structure which, once marked, tends to carry the scent in perpetuity).

All in all, a great solution for our outdoor moggies.

I got this for my husky he loves to be outside in the snow. I got this over other wooden ones because many reviews for the wood ones stated there was air that would come in between the wooden slats and would not stand up as well to Buffalo winters.

I got this one because i love the side “porch door” to leave open/down for entry – he is too big to go through the regular door so we put plastic over it for a window. put a big pillow inside it and he loves it! Never wants to come in now lol.

Only issue is that the interior dimensions are smaller than it says online (states the outer dimensions) so was smaller than i wanted but he still likes it. One of the corner pieces came cracked as well but did not really affect it as i put pillow down.

It is nice and sturdy otherwise and does not leak. A bit pricey but very easy to assemble which is another reason we got thsi one over wood ones. it is cute!.

This bed looks nice and it’s well constructed. However, it doesn’t make a difference at all with providing a cool surface. I hoped it would provide a cushioned but cool surface for my senior pup to lounge on instead of on the hard tile.

She still prefers the coolness of the tile to this bed.

This is the third bed I’ve purchased from Chewy and while the first two were great this one is awful. Like the style but it offers no real support as advertised for my large GSD. For the price I paid I’m really disappointed.

When I need another bed I doubt I’ll look to this manufacturer again.

Cant say as to the quality b/c it just arrived. Have to get the right size first and let my dog use it and then I will know. I ordered and paid for the jumbo and got the large. I order online to save time and frustration.

My Italian Mastiff mix has always had a dull, powdery feeling coat and has always been a heavy shedder. So bad to where you can pet her and your hand gets coated in a chalky substance. I’ve tried salmon oils, skin and coat supplements, deep cleaning/conditioning shampoos, deshedding shampoos, everything and nothing has helped.

After she had an impacted anal gland, Dr. Google told me that omegas can help with the inflammation and expression of anal glands and to try a fish oil capsule. This brand is amazing, it’s been two weeks and she already has a healthy shine on her coat.

It’ll take a recheck at her vet to see how her glands are doing, but coat-wise, she looks so much more improved. It hasn’t helped with shed control, but supplements take a while to show full results.

The only downside is she hates the taste and will sometimes even pick it out of pill pockets.

I’ve been giving this to my 5 month old Akita for almost 2 weeks and noticed immediate results. For the first couple days I only gave him half a dose because he has a sensitive stomach and I didn’t want to shock his system.

He usually has loose stool when he’s given any new treats or supplements but he adjusted just fine. With the half dose, he would still sniff his poops and lick a little, but with the full dose he walks away immediately.

I especially like that this is formulated without the extra stuff like probiotics and other vitamins like other brands because he’s already taking other supplements and I don’t want to over do that. He does need 3 each meal because of his size, so it does add up.

I’m hoping he breaks this habit soon because he’s still growing and 1 jar won’t last long for him.

My 5 yr terrier and 6 yr old pups both take this supplement. My 5yo has been on it most of her life as she came to us from the rescue with a broken leg from the previous family. She takes 2 tablets a day and she is 67 lbs.

when the weather has extreme temperature changes, we dose her twice. We use this supplement for her as an alternative to pain meds and she does fantastic with these tablets. Our other is a 6 yr old Transylvanian hound and he is 104 lbs.

since he is a big boy and approaching his senior dog years, we give him 2 tablets once a day. He takes them down no problem, while she has to be persuaded with a little bit of peanut butter on each tablet.

Small price to pay for happy puppies!.

I am honestly shocked that it was as flimsy and cheap as it was. Usually sams toys are soo cute. The cozy cottage doesn’t even have stickers or anything inside the house. Falls over VERY cheap feeling.

I wish I could return. Disappointed!.

I bought the pirate ship and my daycare kids and grandson love it! It is well made and sturdy. My only complaint is that the doors/windows keep coming off and I’m constantly having to reattach them:(

Cutest play set, my daughter loves dogs and having one of her own to take care of is the highlight of her day with this toy!

Is it functional? Eh. The mattress on the bed is super thin and small. The whole thing is a decent size but the plastic takes up most of the bulk and makes the sleeping area for the dog super small! Our pup couldn’t fit in it so we took the mattress out hoping she would be able to use it too.

She didn’t want anything to do with it. Hoping I can talk my boyfriend into letting me get a puppy so that I can try it out on a smaller scale.

Our dog is 27lbs; roughly 3lbs overweight. We think she is a Shiba Inu mix. She can stretch out decently in the jumbo size without it being too large, and loves laying against the sides. This is the first bed she ever liked.

When its not in use it easily stores under the bed so your not tripping on it while your cleaning and making your bed.

I ordered the birdhouse and the dog house. My grandchildren are 2 and almost 5. The two-year-old kept busy by taking the pieces out of the base and putting them back in – similar to a regular puzzle.

He discovered the hole in the back to push the pieces out. He did this over and over. The almost-5 granddaughter liked putting the puzzle together as 3 dimensional. She built it with the blueprint side inside, then outside, and wanted to know why it didn’t have a floor.

It was enough of a challenge to make it interesting for her. I was able to work with them, so some supervision at first is a good thing, but the quality and sturdiness of the puzzles mean they will last a long time – for many visits to come.

I honestly didn’t care about my dog’s shedding when I bought this product. I have had pets for 27 years and pet hair is something I am used to dealing with. I actually just bought this shampoo because my dog has very sensitive skin and has been dealing with terrible allergies.

But I will say, after using this we have noticed that he is shedding less. I don’t know how they do it but my husband was playing with our dog today and said, “he sheds less after you bathe him” (our dog got his bath last night).

And my husband commented on how normally his dark shirt would have been full of our dogs hair after playing but today it wasn’t. I can’t say our dogs allergies have improved but I don’t blame this product for that.

I think that’s an underlying issue that I am still trying to get help for after months of vet visits. But this does not seem to irritate his skin. It also does seem to calm our dog down during his bath.

He does not like baths and is not the most cooperative but he’s calmer when I use this shampoo. And after the bath he smells nice (nothing strong or super noticeable but a light freshness) without synthetic fragrances.

So far I’ve only used this shampoo a couple of times but it seems to be an excellent product. I will continue using it.

This sensitive shampoo is perfect for my terroir! It effectively cleans the hair and is easily rinsed out with water, leaving the hair soft and moisturized. The lavender /chamomile makes it smell really good!.

This is some of the best shampoo I have ever tried. Not specific to just the shampoo but healthy breeds for miniature schnauzer’s altogether. It did help with the whitening I can’t say that it was the absolute best but it did help.

Aside from that it leaves my pup’s coat extremely soft and extremely shiny. I get compliments on his fur regularly especially because miniature schnauzers are known to have thick wiry Coats. It feels AMAZING and smells good.

It’s recommended for use for dogs over 3 month old and it had made a tremendous difference in her skin flaking, giving her a super shiny coat that’s both soft and smells wonderfully. It also easy to rinse off and we’ve been able to use almost ½ as less of this than other shampoos.

I recommend this brand for all dogs who have sensitive skin to beautify their coat and make them feel better!.

I honestly don’t write reviews very often so when I do I actually mean them. This shampoo really is something that keeps Pomeranians very white it’s not bad on his skin and I have tried quite a few. Dorian is kind of skittish and still a puppy so he has a lot of accidents and when he gets scared he pees on himself and then it can get stained in his fur.

Not a single other shampoo got the stains out in a first wash and this one did.

my cat had pu surgery and it required him to be on meds basically his whole healing process. he was on antibiotics for whatever length of time he was healing in hospital (5days) + an additional 14 days of 2 different antibiotics (amoxicillin every 12 hrs and one other one every 24)! he had never previously been on any type of medication, but two days after he came home from the hospital the extremely soft stools started.

they lasted until his last dose bc i wasnt aware it was recommended to give probiotics with the antibiotic treatment. i found this along with the powder. I went thru the powder first, giving the recommended dose every single day rather than a few times weekly/ once a week.

i did the same with this gel. I gave the powder with his wet food but gave the gel with his wet treats/squeeze ups. he took both with out noticing they were in his food. i started the benebac as soon as the antibiotics were over and it took abt a week, dosage every single day, and saw massive improvement.

i continue the dosage every single day a week after that, his poops returned to normal. Since then I have been giving him half the recommended dose, every single day, he’s doing well with that. I am slowly cutting it out in hopes of eventually just giving him the dose once a week as for maintenance as stated on bottle :-).

My Mr. Ice Cream had some indigestion. He’s a young long haired teddy bear hamster with plenty of Timothy Hay and mealworms in his diet along with a bloc. He was pulling his poopies from his butt and slinging them around.

This stopped that right away. I smeared a little on his daily multi-vitamin and he crunched on it right away! I found some of his stool from this medicine and it was cool and moist and very well-shaped.

Earlier it had been dry and old looking straight out his butt. Ouch! The package says two doses three days apart so we did that with his last dose to be dosed on Friday. Great for moves and new feed as a non-vet prescribed user.

I am a vet tech and breeder. I recently had a litter of puppies and 2 weeks in mom had terrible diarrhea. Will lactating there isn’t much you can give. I tried a bland diet, kaopectate even a different prebiotic and nothing worked.

The puppies started have off looking poops. In a repro group this product was mentioned so I thought I’d give it a try. I am so glad I did. After giving this the diarrhea cleared up on both mom and pups.

Another dog in the house got diarrhea i gave her one dose and she was normal the next day. I will keep this on hand at all times now.

At first I was overwhelmed by the overall size of the dog house, but now it’s grown on me. I was more concerned about the interior size for my beagle and didn’t realize how high and wide it would be.

This dog house will be used indoors. I put this together myself in about an hour. Pretty easy assembly. It’s well constructed, sturdy. I love the look and style. Very cute!.

Everything went together pretty easy except the roof. I managed to get one half on. Unfortunately the right half that has the hinge would not go on right. I had to get someone to help me finally get on.

The instructions were not a great help.

My rabbit couldn’t really play in this hidey hole as much as he wanted too. The product information didn’t really specify if it is for kittens or young adult rabbits. But, my pet did enjoy eating it which the information did specify was safe to be eaten by your pet.

This product would be perfect for smaller kits that are being introduced to toys and playtime but not young adults.

I have the woven house which my bunny naps in & has chewed an open back door to match the front for fun. Also have had this one for quite a while & she has been chewing on this for a change of pace. Never sat in it but enjoys this , She is potty trained & not in a cage.

These are part of her house area in great room with her food area & potty area. She is 4lbs. & jumps up to sit with us in the great room. These really add to her healthy intake of timothy hay.

Perfect for chewing and hiding! Piglets will love it! Can’t wait for Christmas!

Bought this dog house for our cats, actually. We needed a place to house our litter boxes outside in our “catio” as there just isn’t a good place inside for them and we want our cats to be able to go outside without predators getting them.

We saw thia dog house with the hinged lid and thought, “Perfect! The litter boxes will be protected from the weather and we’ll be able to easily open the lid to clean them. ” The hinged lid, however, proved to be the hardest part to assemble.

All we needed to do was screw one piece of with with hinges already attached to the lid, then slip it into place. Sounds simple enough, right? Nope. No matter what my husband did, even doing it as the very vague instructions told him to, the lid wouldn’t open.

We tried so many different positions. We flipped that piece of wood around, the lid, nothing. Finally, as we were looking at it, holding the lid in the spot it was supposed to go in relation to piece of wood.

the hinges were screwed in the WRONG SPOT on the piece of wood. The wood that came with the hinges already screwed on in the box. So someone at the factory put the hinges in the wrong spot. So we had to UNSCREW the hinges from the wood, and screw into the spot they were supposed to go.

The lid opened just fine after that and we were able to finish assembling. But it was certainly not easy. Aside from that, it seems to be an ok dog house. Hoping it doesn’t prove to be overall disappointing.

I am not a handy person, and I usually only buy “easy assembly” items for this reason. and now I can’t actually find where this house claims to be easy, so, my bad. I suppose they’re not going to advertise that it’s difficult to assemble.

The sides and floor were right up my alley — very easy. The roof, however. ugh. Instructions very vague. No video on Trixie’s site to help, either, and nothing on YouTube. I could not tell from the tiny pictures which way some of the parts were supposed to go, and when some of the screw holes didn’t line up I felt like I was doing it wrong so then I tried something else, which was also wrong.

I gave up without attaching the roof — did not even attempt the hinges, as the instructions told me nothing of use. I might try covering the roof with a tarp to help keep out the elements since there’s an opening in the back (I assume because I can’t get the roof to attach, not because it was designed that way), and because I don’t want it flying off during a storm.

It does look nice, though!.

I have a blind, rescue hound dog that marks everything and has to stay outside. He has free access to a covered porch that we refer to as his apartment. Keeping him warm is a priority. We bought the dog house for inside his apartment as a place to keep him cozy during the winter.

We chose the Large size for him, he weighs about 40 lbs. It was easy to put together and he fits comfortably. I’m not sure how it would hold up outside with constant exposure to weather or with a larger more active dog.

It took us a little bit to teach him how to use it but it has really turned out great for my boy. I love that the top opens up so we can clean it easily.

We love the doghouse, as it is beautiful. The wood is of high quality – heavy and beautiful. The cedar smells wonderful! It’s the perfect size for Kailey Skye, our 4. 6 lb Maltese. The only change we would make is because the house is made for smaller dogs, the spacing between stairs on the stairwell is a tad bit too wide for such a vertical climb.

Kailey tends to feel unsure of high vertical steps in general, so we didn’t attach the stairwell to the dog house yet. We have some cloth stairs for her to climb onto the couch when she wants, and it fits perfectly beside the balcony, so we let her climb it instead.

Overall, though. the dog house is gorgeous. Well made. The quality is excellent. It looks beautiful and durable. It seems to be a nice size for a small dog. We will likely bring it outdoors this spring.

It’s so darn cute! Went together easily, except for the top rail that didn’t want to match up with the roof and it was the only part of the build that didn’t have pre-drilled holes. Other than that it is the cutest and now sits in my mother’s kitchen for her chihuahua.

The dog house was the perfect size for my medium size Yorkie. The reason for the four Stars is because the steps are too narrow and she has a difficult time climbing them. If only the steps were wider she would be able to climb easier.

The instructions were easy to follow and my husband had no problem.

My puppy has atopic skin allergies and we are treating it with Benadryl and the Benadryl seemed to help I purchased the BB itch spray after seeing reviews on how much it helped others skin integrity and honestly it made it way worse.

After the Benadryl dose he wasn’t itching at all. His fur is red, blotchy and dry and figured with Avocado oil it should hydrate it. Nopppeee he started to itch like crazy and I have like 3 hrs left for his next dose.

If ur thinking this will help moisturize their skin or soften it think again. The only relief mine got was the coldness of the spray… continuing on with my search to help his skin clear up and let him feel some relief… also if ur pup has skin allergies from ragweed, ryegrass or pollen Benadryl works amazing just be careful on the dose and either wash w/a moisturizing shampoo or use wipes all over (in paws too) every time he is exposed to those elements.

Too bad I couldn’t use it’s a 10 on him lol bc when I go blonde it makes my hair feel so soft when it should feel like straw….

We have three shampoos we use for our rescues, two which we purchase from the Vet when needed. Burt’s Bees oatmeal shampoo has been our go to over the counter shampoo for decades now. One of our rescues is like our old Lab was, pollen comes down thick enough to write your name on the car and the dog’s coat dries out.

With the dry coat, shedding is unbelievable, even in a short hair dog. Then the constant scratching begins. With this oatmeal shampoo, it takes care of both issues, scratching stops and the shedding goes back to normal.

It’s definitely a chore reducer! The great thing about receiving the shampoo from Chewy is not only the lower price, but the fact that they taped the top down so no spills in the box!.

I just bought this product to wash my two busy little pups who are constantly up to no good. They get into everything that they shouldn’t, are in the raw funk of the potty training stages in their crates, they love to roll around in dead things, and aren’t living their best life, unless they are covered up to their ears in mud and muck.

This Oatmeal shampoo sounded very gentle, and in my mind I thought that it would be great for their fur and smell like an oatmeal cookie, or like most of Burt’s Bees honey scented products which are all great- except, I was very disappointed.

This shampoo literally smells like nothing, and it doesn’t seem to deep clean their fur- especially if they are fluffy. Also, it doesn’t seem to wash or mask strong puppy odors after my two rebel pups get into funky things.

I was really bummed out, I opted to spend more on a better valued product due to their brand name that’s won me over with their human products, but instead got some that I’ve used this not a few times and will most likely discard.

It’s not at all doing the trick. I think that Burt’s Bees just needs to stay in their own lane, and do what their magical at, by making awesome snd affordable skincare products for humans. Because this shampoo isn’t good quality, and it’s certainly not what I’d call affordable skincare.

Lovely plush cushion for my pups crate! Fits well and is lovely and soft. Zip removable cover so easily washable. Thank you!
