Reviews From Real Customers
Is this a 90 dollar eyeshadow palette for only four shadows? Yes. Can you get more eyeshadows, that likely work just as well for cheaper from other brands like Urban Decay, Natasha Denona, ABH, etc. ? Yes That being said, I’m beyond happy with my purchase.
This is a perfect for a subtle, every day look but it can be intensified for nighttime. A purchase like this works well if you’re the type of person I am where you do not wear makeup often/or like to look like you’re wearing makeup.
The thought of 6/12/18/20+ eyeshadow colors in one palette is overwhelming and time-consuming, I just wanna be quick and out the door. Honestly, I barely used many of the larger eyeshadow palettes I had in the past and gave them away.
It comes down to personality type and I’m just not one of those people who loves to mix and match to try 80+ different eye looks, if that’s you or the person you’re buying for— this is not the most cost-effective option.
It’s the simplicity and versatility of this eyeshadow quad for me. All of the colors work well together so you really can’t go wrong. The colors have a slight sheen to them, which honestly isn’t usually something I usually gravitate towards but, I find it adds some color dimension to the eyelid in a natural way unlike a flat matte color would.
An added perk, and another reason why I opted for this quad color option, is that the brownish shade on the bottom right can be used with an eyeliner brush to create a perfect subtle winged liner look if you’re in a pinch and don’t have your eyeliner handy or if you just want to achieve that, ‘is she wearing eyeliner or does she look like that naturally?’ look!.
Unfortunately, big disappointment. Disclaimer: works only when applied wet (though it’s even not their famous “wet and dry” formula) I love Tom Ford’s eyeshadows for the ease of use: they blend themselves always giving you a great result, no matter how professional in makeup you are, and I had the same expectations here for the high price.
They looked beautiful in quad, I was especially intrigued by darker brown and purple, so I ordered them online. I started with brown and was shocked, cause there was literally no pigment on my eyelid and it fell a lot under my eye instead.
I had tried a couple of times before applying it wet using a setting spray – and then it started to work wonderfully. Purple was a bit better, but still I missed the intensity of colour, so with spray it became much more bright and dramatic.
On the other hand, the orange shade surprised me positively: very well pigmented, works perfect when applied dry and gives a really beautiful colour (though I am not a fan of such warm shades). The same with gold: super shiny, unique and very easy-to-apply.
To sum up, I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for a good pigmentation and ease of use. From my perspective, when you buy only 4 shades for such a high price, they all should be working perfectly and effortlessly.
But maybe this quad is just not for me, and if you prefer subtle colours and want to experiment, maybe you’ll like it more (still, I recommend looking for promotions).
Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette #NewFavoriteMustHave To make this review more comprehensible, I broke it down into the following bullet points: 1- colors options and variety, 2 – pigments payoff, 3 – the dreaded fallout (spoiler alert – there wasn’t any), and 4 – accompanying brushes.
Let me disclose that I am a proud makeup enthusiast and undeniable technique novice. Understandably, makeup palettes tend to scare me – and the larger the palette, the intimidating the experience. The Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette includes four colors, which is great for beginners like me and makes application and color choice painless.
An additional bonus for us notices, is that that two of these colors – despite appearing highly pigmented in the pans (Shimming Peach and Sand) — go on quite sheerly when applied lightly with a brush.
I used the dark brown-esque (called Dark Purple) shade on the tip on a dampened fine eye shadow brush and lined my upper lids from the half-waypoint (mid pupil) outward and slightly upwards. I used the beyond gorgeous plum color to line the midpoint of the lash line inner ward towards to corners of my eyes.
Both darker colors (Plum and Dark Purple) go on very pigmented – especially when wet. As I stated earlier, I am relatively new to this…but almost always have purchased high-end luxury make-up lines which tend (in general) to good in quality, but I have never seen a metallic palette with minimal to no fall out! The smudges you see in the photographs are just that – smudges.
These are smudges that occurred when I tested the colors on my skin for the other photographs. As pictured in in the photographs with the Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette, the brushes are small and although they may prove helpful for skilled detailed work, or simply fixups on the go, I did not even bother with the two utensils.
The mirror is large and clear, taking up the entire space underneath the top lid cover. I should also note that the way this Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eyeshadow Palette opens is genius; it opens from a recessed potion, thus eliminating accidental bumps and spills when this palatte is on the go.
#Perfection This is hand-down my new favorite eye shadow palette and when it is time for a replenishment, I will turn first to #TomFord for eyeshadow options and inspirations.

I tried one of these palettes in the Smokey shade and it was very disappointing. I think the formula was very lackluster difficult to blend. Personally, I wouldn’t buy again as it wasn’t anything special in comparison to other eyeshadow palettes I’ve tried.
I felt like a lot of the shades lost pigmentation after being blended got muddy. For example, the green shade in this palette specifically stood out to me as not so good. It had a grey or black undertone, and after blending out the shade you saw way more gray then green.
I don’t mind having to build up shadows at all, but this just didn’t build for me the way I had hoped. Overall, I was really let down by this purchase because of that I didn’t buy any other shades from this collection.
The only Smashbox eyeshadow palette that I remember getting some use from was the Full Exposure palette. Other than that, I haven’t really ever been impressed with Smashbox’s eyeshadow formula. I’d pass on this as there are so many eyeshadow formulas that outperform this, some being only a fraction of the cost.
I recently revisited Smashbox and placed my first order in probably 10 years, and I’m glad I did! I grabbed the Cover Shot Eye Pallette in ‘Golden Hour’ and am so impressed with it. Yes, the palette size is smaller than some on the market – I’d guess it’s about 4”x2”.
As someone who takes forever to go through palettes because I like to try new things often, this is a plus! It’s also ideal for travel, especially with the magnetic closure lid. So far I’ve tried most of the eyeshadows in the palette and have experienced great color payoff, easy blending, and zero fallout.
This particular combination of warm tones are all very flattering and versatile – easily styled for everyday and more dramatic occasions. I definitely recommend and will consider adding more colorways to my collection.
The Worst Palette Ever! This was simply the worst palette I’ve ever used. I purchased it because the colors just screamed my name since pink and aqua are my fave colors. I had been eyeing it for a while but I have soooo many palettes I kept telling myself that I didn’t need it.
Then it went on sale and I stacked some other points event and said OK it’s time. I’m so disappointed! The pink is OK, I used the lightest shade as my transition and try to blend the pink one as my crease color.
The pink was splotchy, but once I put the time in blending and packing the crease, it looked OK. Then I tried to use the dark shimmery pink in the Bold Glittery Palette for my outer eyelid color and no matter how I tried to put it on (finger, brush, dampened brush, etc,.
) it just went on then came right back off and there was no building it up at all. Then I went to use the pink from this full palette for my under outer eye, nothing went on or stayed on. I got a little bit of fine pink stains, but no color whatsoever.
I did use the aqua on my inner lower lash line, but I used an eyeliner pencil first and just used the aqua to set it. It just had no pizazz even over the eyeliner. It was just dull for such a vibrant color in the pan.
So I threw on a little Stila duo chrome liquid eyeshadow over it (the white one with the blue-green shift) and that made it pop, but it’s definitely nothing on it’s own. I also tried the darkest plum color for the eyeliner with wet brush.
I mean absolutely nothing, no pigmentation at all. This is absolutely a miss from Smashbox.

I was provided the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette free for review purposes. This breathtakingly beautiful eyeshadow palette quad is the definition of romantic glam. I felt different in this palette- confident, ethereal and empowered.
That for me is truly the power of great makeup in uplifting your perspective. You can wear this for an everyday eye look or really create drama by adding liner and lashes. This is the epitome of feminine versatility.
The muted pinks highlighted with vibrant shimmer play beautifully against the deeper mauve/brown shades. The shades are neutral in color palette but can be built up or faded to diversify your look. There are two matte shades in this palette on the right and two shimmer shades on the left.
The matte shadows apply beautifully with a full fluffy brush or flat eyeshadow brush. I typically utilize my fingers to apply shimmer shades to really bring out their opulent vibrancy on my eyelids. As with all shimmer shades you need to use a good base and set your makeup or you will have fallout.
I don’t mind with such finely milled product because it is not glitter pieces but a shimmering highlighter effect. I loved that these shadows felt almost saturated in the pan. If you have ever utilized a chalky eyeshadow, where a hardened texture forms over the top, you understand the difference in product ingredients.
The quality is here to backup the price tag. This palette does retail for $53 (after pay/installments are available on brand website). This is a higher end product that I will definitely get full use out of in my collection.
Items like skincare, eyeshadows and foundations are typically items I am willing to invest in for my everyday routine.

Happy Sunday Everyone! This weekend has gone way too fast. Whatcha all up too? I am woking on my BoxyCharm Base Box Video for October 2021! Today’s look comes from @toofaced cosmetics palette called Pretty Rich, the colors are so pretty.
I really love the performance of these shadows, they are packed a bit tight so it takes some time to loosen the shadows, but they are pigment and blended well. Colors I used were Highly Selective, Oh, That’s Rich, Diamond Glitterati and Clutch Your Pearls, this color story is great for neutral look or for glam.
Lashes from @glamnetic called BabyGirl, which are so cute! Blush @milanicosmetics Lipstick Highlighter is from @lancome Eye Primer is from @glamlite All definitely hooded-eye approved. Have a great rest of the day everyone! * #glamnetic #magneticlashes #glamneticlashes #glamneticgirl #hoodeyes #hoodeyemakeup #makeuplooks #hoodedeyesmakeup #hoodedeyes #makeup #beauty #instamakeup #instabeauty #makeupaddict #glamlite #cosmetics #makeuplover #makeupjunkie #beautiful #milanicosmetics #instagood #motd #wakeupandmakeup #glam #toofaced #lancome #influenster #beautyinfluencer #influenstervoxbox [brand:glamnetic] [brand:lancome].
is a beautiful eyeshadow palette. The pink packaging is so pretty. I used the shades Diamond Life, Highly Selective, Oh That’s Rich, and Diamond Glitterati. 16 beautiful shades. 4 beautiful mattes, 8 beautiful shimmers, and 4 beautiful glitters.
Easy to apply, blend, and build. Plays well with Shadow Insurance eye shadow primer, Better Than Sex liquid eyeliner, Killer eyeliner (Killer Black), Better Than Sex waterproof mascara, and Brow Wig brow gel (Dark Brown).

Revlon cream shadows in pallet form has been out for years and I just buying this product. The creams are pigmented enough without being overpowering. There are 2 neutral shades and 2 colorful ones. The texture is very creamy and does skip when applying.
If you have oily lids I am not sure if you will like this. My skin is oily so l apply a light dusting of translucent powder on my lids before applying. Instead of using a fluffy brush try a small or medium concealer brush so you do not waste product.
If you are into bright, colorful, wild colors you may want to pass this up. The shades last about 4-5 hours. The price range is pretty decent from $3. 99-$7. 99 depending on your location.
This is my favorite type of eyeshadow ever! I am blind in one eye and have nerve damage in the same eye. As a result that eye doesn’t blink as it should. As you can imagine this causes dryness, irritation and debris to get in this eye.
Powdered eyeshadow was a huge problem. However I’ve always loved makeup and your product allows me continue to wear eyeshadow but to have fun and be bold with it! I’m sure it is a lifesaver for others with sensitive or other eye issues.
Please don’t ever stop making it! I’d be so lost without it.
These are pretty if you love subtle makeup. I recall these creasing a bit as well. These are best used as eyeshadow bases for powdered eyeshadow. I have no plans on repurchasing this product. They should market these as eyeshadow bases.
if you wear this on it’s own it will crease, slide off and melt off. Especially in the summer.

I love the simplicity of these- truly so easy to bring with you if you’re traveling or have limited space. The packaging is really high quality, sleek, and makes applying the product easy and seamless.
I do find I need to use my finger a bit to blend the way I like, but so far I have tried 8 shades and do enjoy all of them. I LOVE the vanilla matte to sculpt out the eyebrow and lay a base down to cover up color imperfections.
The lighter shimmers such as champagne and sand are super sparkly and brightening without looking like glitter. They are very hydrating on the eyes and help to camouflage any dryness or fine lines. Where these really stand out for me is their longevity- they really do last ALL day, even in a humid climate.
They will NOT budge once applied. That being said these are definitely more on the “subtle” side so if you do want super rich dark pigment you will find this lacking. If you build up too many layers, you do start to notice that you can feel the makeup a bit on your eyes.
This doesn’t really bother me, but if you don’t wear makeup frequently you may notice the weight of it. The darker colors definitely have more pigment than the lighter ones, and when choosing a shade I would opt for the darker one if you’re looking for color payoff.
I’ve purchased 8 different colors and was disappointed that the actual color of the eyecream doesn’t match the color sticker on the end of the tube. The Orchid shimmer should have been a slight purple but it turned out to look like Copper.
Same with the Rose shimmer (should have been pink) but is a light Copper. The Midnight blue did not have a pretty blue shimmer like the ad, instead, it looked like Charcoal on my eyelids. The Smokey Amethyst shimmer should have been a light purple but it too had more of a light Copper look.
At first I thought they mixed up the color sticker on the tube, but I realized that the colors were not as advertised. I don’t know how the models got such pretty colors when the actual eye creams were not brilliant like the pictures.
I still wear them, but I’m disappointed with the muted colors. The color does last all day and is waterproof and less expensive than the other brand.
Very pleased w/these eyeshadow sticks. Colors have been as expected (rose shimmer, though, was a little more saturated than I thought it would be but that wasn’t a real problem). I have deep set eyes and really only use the colors under my brows, in the outer corner of the eyelid as well as in the crease.
(I prefer a light colored matte powder on the lid. ) The tip of the stick is small enough to control on the lid and in the crease. Under the brow, I have to use a light hand to apply the shadow (so it doesn’t deposit too heavily) and then typically have to smudge it to spread it.
But it smudges very nicely. I’d like to see more light colored matte shades b/c then I’d use more of the product on my lids. I need matte shades b/c I’m an older gal (66) and don’t like shimmer on that part of my eye.
All in all, I find it a very nice product.

The description describes the Nude Dress palette as pink and powdery shades and nude brown. However, there are no pink shades in this palette. So instead, I would describe the shades as peach, bronze, taupe, and terracotta brown.
I expected a pink shade when I bought the Nude Dress palette. So if you are looking for a pink and brown palette, this isn’t it. However, this color palette is beautiful for Autumn, and I reach for this palette when I feel like doing a peachy and brown eye look.
There is minimal fall-out, and the colors blend beautifully and build nicely. I love the finished look of this palette and will repurchase it in the future when needed.
I found this eye shadow very eclectic. Each shadow can be used with a very light brush, which allows one to look fairly natural and not like a vampire. I like lightly colored eye shadows (I have hazel eyes) that I can apply without looking garish.
Go easy on the deeper colors. One can get the similar effect using a brush and a light hand! The two colors that can ruin your look are the Black and Black Metallic. One can change into Vampire within 5 minutes.
I suppose some people like it, but I am getting older and do not look like I am 25. again. All in all, this group of colors are made to go well with each other.
I have New Look and I use the outer 4 shades and mostly ignore the middle. I put most of these on with my fingers; I feel like you get pretty good payoff with shimmers when applying with fingers as opposed to fluffing it all out with a brush.
I just do end up loving the way my makeup turns out after laying down any cream shadow and throwing one of the metallic shades on top. The color is definitely there, but it’s also the finish that’s stunning (a fine, almost “glossy” shimmer finish) and the way they blend out, even just with a finger.
If you aren’t getting the payoff you want try ditching the brushes. I’ll get one more of these in a different color but based on the comments some seem to be better than others.

Reviews From Real Customers
I bought this palette as had seen tutorial on Dominique video. I was so excited when it arrived, as I had read and heard many positive reviews on it. I have to say wow!!! it met all my expectations, stunning colour story, amazing pay off, hardly any fall out the shadows are buttery and pigmented.
Most importantly they blend like a dream. Packaging is also lovely, these shadows can be comparable to the Jeffery star shadows in terms of quality. Definitely recommend this product, if your thinking of buying don’t hesitate, it’s worth every penny.
I just received my palette today and it’s even more beautiful in person than in pictures! All of the shades are super creamy and pigmented, the only color I had to layer a few times was Cherry Juice but that could of been my right eye just not wanting to let the color stay.
For eye primer, I did my left eye with Tarte Shape Tape and set it with some Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder and my right eye MAC Paint Pot in Painterly. I did two different eye looks on each eye – left eye I used the colors Soft N Sweet (transition), Toasted (crease/blended it up close to brow bone), Warm Pie (crease/outer V), Chocolate Mousse (outer v/ slightly in crease), Honey Dipped all over my lid and added Sweet Cream on my brow bone.
For my right eye I used Sweet Cream and Soft N Sweet (transition shades), Bittersweet (crease/blended up below brow bone), Cranberry (middle of kid), Cherry Juice (outer V/ inner part of lid/slightly in crease), added Sugar Cookie in the center on top of Cranberry, and Sweet Cream under brow bone.
I ended up adding just a little bit of Blackberry on the outer V/inner part of eye lid to darken it up a bit. The shadows blended beautifully together and the fallout was little to none. When I was using the shimmer colors I tried them with a flat synthetic brush with some setting spray (MAC Fix +) and none, and also used my finger.
I got more color/shimmer payoff with my finger TBH but using the Fix + to add where I wanted the shimmer to go first did help out with increasing the intensity of it. I think this is her best palette yet! I will say, a little shadow does go a long way so don’t dip in with a heavy hand! Oh, I’m also combo skin, age 27, and my eyelids can be dry at times so I made sure to prep them with some eye cream before I applied some eye primer.
This palette is totally worth it! I was always hesitant because of the price, but the quality and formula make it a standout in my collection. (Especially on sale!) I love the mix of neutrals and berry tones, with the pop of blue.
It’s very pigmented right off the bat and I haven’t had an issues blending. My favorite shades in the palette are Soft n’ sweet (Somewhat peachy, nude matte) Cranberry (True berry metallic) and Sugar Cookie (Very light pink shimmer) Perfect as an inner corner highlight!! My only complaint would be the fallout, especially with the darker colors.
But other than that this is a gem. I would highly recommend!.

Chanel brought this back! I remember using their cream eyeshadow 20yrs ago & it was just as fabulous then as now! I bought the Scintillance (804). I have blonde hair, blue eyes & fair complexion w/pink undertones.
I apply from brow bone down, covering my entire eyelid… Although, you can apply w/the index fingertip, I prefer using the Chanel No. 20 Eye Contour/Blender Brush. It goes on smooth as silk & lasts all day.
The beauty of this color is it gives a very nice natural look but can also be used as a base eyeshadow color & built upon w/other colors to create various intensities based upon the look one is going for.
I prefer using it alone as I prefer just a quick & easy to apply eyeshadow for a very natural look. But, I also think it would be fun to use another cream shadow as a 2nd color on top of it on my lower lids.
It’s a win-win! You can’t go wrong… Unless you’re complexion is considered an Autumn (like my mom (fair, dark Auburn hair color & dark brown eyes) & she couldn’t use it) b/c it’s too pink for an Autumn complexion.
Otherwise, it’s universal.
I love almost everything CHANEL, but this was a major disappointment. I purchased three colors. All of them are so sheer, it’s like I am not wearing anything. I do use a base, which greatly brings out the color in every brand, except this one.
It’s as though this formula is “base resistant”. I applied layer upon layer, first with the sponge applicator and then with a brush, and the color does not build whatsoever. The formula is extremely dry.
I can’t believe that in this modern era, one of the top beauty brands is still making eyeshadow that is dry like fine sand. I don’t have dry eyelids/dry skin whatsoever. I don’t even recall, in my 41 years of life, ever owning an eyeshadow that went on so dry! I honestly don’t get why CHANEL can’t produce some decent eyeshadows.
They need to lose all the crazy sparkles in everything too and introduce some variety to their customers.
I bought this just before Melbournes fifth lockdown. I had previously purchased Silver Pink in this range and enjoyed every bit of it. It was creamy and exactly what I hoped for. This time I bought the colour Pourpre Profond; a pretty bronze-brown-red shade.
But unlike the earlier Ombré Premier, this one is dry, patchy, flat and all-round an extremely disappointing Eye Shadow. Will not be buying this Ombre Premiere range again.

Just turned 64 and decided to change up my everyday routine. Ditched the smudged upper eyeliner and I’m loving this over an eyelid primer on inner eye and lid, NOT as eyebrow highlighter. It’s lovely and not glittery or garish.
Has a small, very usable brush built into the jar’s lid that’s easily removed for use and also easily slipped back in after use so it won’t get lost in your makeup drawer or bag. I suppose it can be smudged on with your fingers too, but I haven’t tried that yet.
The consistency is very easy, smooth and not sticky. When I decided to use a eyeshadow, cream was what I wanted, but in the “non prestige” lines there are very few to choose from that are neutral and not dark or bright, so I’m happy with Revlon ColorStay creme eyeshadow pot.
Whike this product itself. the color and the texture and the ability to put it on. Is wonderful, the package design is horrible. First of all, the printing on the black portion makes it appear that’s the bottom of the container.
I spent a good 15 minutes trying to open it with that as the bottom, only to find out the clear glass is the bottom. But the clear glass container is too narrow. top to bottom. to be able to get a grip on it.
I’m 78 years old and still use eye makeup everyday and have never had a problem opening a product. I had to take this to my 49-year-old daughter and ask her to open it for me. Even jar grips didn’t work.
And she had a hard time at her young age!!! Redesign this productc container before I’ll buy it again.

When I first saw the marketing for this palette, I thought “the last thing I need is another neutral palette”. Boy, was I wrong. This palette is beautiful inside and out. The outside is a gorg beige-pink color with a stud-like 3D texture and pretty coordinating metallic rose gold corner accents.
Sadly, “fire opal” and “rose water” became kind of loose in shipping. The one positive thing about them being pressed pigments is that instead of smashing into powder, it seems like the top layer of the damaged shadows are loosening in one sheet instead, so it was able to just push them in with my finger to get them to stay.
A more permanent solution would be to spray it down with alcohol first, though. There are two color shifting metallic shades, five matte shades, a matte with sparse glitter, and two metallic shimmery shades along with two matte blushes.
After using this palette several times, I noticed that this palette allows me to create my go-to color palettes for everyday eyes and lets me do a berry look, neutral look, and rose/pink look. As a fan of using shimmers on the inner eye for all my eye looks, I love that I can switch it up with one of the four metallics included.
The shade that I unexpectedly loved is Peony. Just looking at it in the pan, I thought it would be a bright pink that only looks like there’s peach in it in the palette but not on the eye. When applied on the eyes, it becomes such a pretty peachy pink without that weird chrome-y silver undertone that a lot of metallic pinks have.
This palette doesn’t have a brow bone shade or black, but I actually prefer it this way. We all have tons of those in every other palette, so I like how no space is wasted for stuff that I have 500 of already.
The eyeshadows are incredible smooth and there is no fallout. The only shade that produced a small amount of dust was “rouge” but it wasn’t bad at all. I barely have to touch the eyeshadows with my fingertip to get enough to tap onto my lids.
When using a brush, the shadows apply smoothly and effortlessly. I was surprised how well the mattes applied considering the reputation that matte shades have. I have a medium complexion and found that the two blushes included worked well for me.
I like that the lighter shade can be used as blush for light-medium shades while the deeper one can be blush for deeper skintones. The versatile thing about these is that even though I have a medium skintone, I can still use the deeper color with the lighter one as a way to add depth i.
e. use the blush as I normally would and then follow next to it with the deeper shade, closer to the contour area. This creates a nice depth to the face and technique that I almost forgot about! I can definitely see myself using this palette over and over for its awesome base shades and soft shimmer shades.
I can see how this would be a good palette to travel with since you can use it for both day and night looks. Def a good one to keep in the collection!.
I have been so excited for this Palette ever since [brand:anastasia-beverly-hills] announced their New Launch the Primrose Palette! The Packaging on the Palette, is remarkably beautiful and embossed with a uniquely, raised, 3D quilted look.
If you are wondering how this Palette compares to other @ABH 14 Shade Palette’s. This Holiday Palette is much bigger, wider, and the eyeshadow pans contain more product and this Palette has 2 huge beautiful Blushes.
Now, let’s get to the Eyeshadow. The Primrose Palette has such a mesmerizing color story of 10 highly pigmented and beautiful Eye Shadows, Pressed Pigments Amazing Metallics, that should compliment all skins tones.
There are a few things that I do want to point out about this Palette. The Palette does have some fall out, which that’s not a don’t make or break thing for me. One of the shades, out of many of the shades that I’ve used was kind of patchy.
I did have trouble blending a couple of the Purple shades as well. I didn’t recognize that 9 out of the 12 Shades in this Palette, is not eye safe. Now, I’ve always heard that’s just because their Pressed Pigments or that they will stain your eye.
How, I discovered that 9 shades weren’t eye safe, is after I created and wore a look, that made My eyes feel irritated, agitated, cut and have burning sensation. Now, to be fair I don’t know if just one shade caused it or if using all the combined shades caused it.
However, I do wish that ABH would’ve choose shades that were eye safe, since this is an eyeshadow palette. Also, although, the metallics don’t need glitter apply to apply the glitters. I would recommend using a glitter primer, setting spray or something to hold the glitter in place, so that it won’t fall down in your eyes.
Also, when You remove the glitter, be sure to do so properly. So You don’t get it in your eyes. I would recommend this Eye Shadow Palette to ppl who understands that most of the shades aren’t eye safe, ppl that do face an body makeup, and Collectors of course.
I’m a Collector Makeup Lover, I would purchase this Palette to add into My Collection. [brand:anastasia-beverly-hills] Primrose Palette For Face Eyes In No Color At Nordstrom [brand:anastasia-beverly-hills] @Influenster #EyeshadowPalette #PaletteLove #ABH #BeautyHaul #MakeupHaul #ShoppingSpree #Shopping #ForYou #Makeup #Beauty #BeautyInfluencer #MakeupLover.
Unfortunately, upon opening this palette, I found three of the four metallic shimmer shadows were shattered (rosewater, sparkling amber, fire drill). I have a feeling these shimmer shades are extra soft or loosely packed, making it quite fragile in transport–I’ve noticed other reviews mentioning shattered shadows as well.
The rest of the shadows are matte and were in tact. Regardless, I was able to fix it myself, but for a palette of this price, ABH should handle this issue as there may be many complaints rolling in. Onto the shadows and palette itself, it is in a pretty pink packaging, with a nice sized mirror.
The shadows are so smooth, buttery, blend-able, and pigmented. I was really impressed with how much pigment was on my finger when swiping lightly across the shades. The blush is a nice color on my light neutral skin tone, giving it a nice wearable flush of color and the saddle color is an in-between blush and bronzer shade.
The tones of this palette leans on the pinks and warm tone side. The colors go really well together and is perfect for romantic, warm, fall looks. The metallic/shimmer shades are very reflective, shimmery, and wet-looking.
Perfect for highlights on the lid or inner lid area. You can create more dramatic looks with this as well as natural looks since there is a range of natural shades. The berry color is a nice dark shade to create more smokey looks.
Overall, a gorgeous palette that is of great quality, but I do hope they can have more quality control in terms of the shattered shades.

I have this in the Mesmer Eyes shade and I’d been looking for a very long time to find a perfect, green eyeshadow that I could build on. It’s so pigmented — as always Surratt doesn’t disappoint on colour, I love the depth of the matte cream.
However it needs to applied with a brush. It tacks very well but you can’t blend with your ring finger and that was a bit frustrating initially — but I think that’s what makes it so long-wearing. The chrome powder is absolutely beautiful.
I wish Surratt did a standalone pot of this glitter — it transforms your eyeshadow on any colour. You could put a purple matte down and layer the chrome on top — amazing effect. So iridescent. It is quite loose so I apply with ring finger for control (unlike the ring finger).
It is pricey for what is a small amount of product. It does go a long way however. In the end I got this because I had a look at other reviews and saw some pictures. I use it quite a lot and I’ll probably pick up another one and some other shades — it really is that nice.
There are only two shades of shadows in the Surratt Glamour Eyes Prismatique Eyes. The cream shade is on top, and the duochrome is at the bottom. cream shadows in a muted violet-purple shade with a neutral undertone and a matte finish.
The shade has a very soft, slippery texture. Glamour Eyes No. 2 is a pinkish-violet-bluish duochrome glitter shade. I like to wear the shade solo (for lighter make-up), and apply it over cream shadows for brighter make-up.

I absolutely LOVE this palette! I know the colors may not be for everyone or for everyday wear, but I just adore it love the color scheme! I use this palette all the time, even for a neutral look, but I do have to tap into another palette to help! But it’s VERY EASY to create gorgeous everyday evening looks with this palette! You can intensify the ALREADY amazing pigment by using a wet brush or your finger! Her formulas colors are ALWAYS phenomenal so soft, buttery, pigmented very easy to blend! I just love her palettes, even the single mini-palettes are good! I also got her special edition, Cupid Palette that was amazing too! I most definitely recommend her formulas palettes! BUT, the ONLY hiccup, is the price points! But, you can get them on sale! Even so, they are worth the money!!!! And, the ONLY reason I did not give it the 5 stars it DOES deserve, IS simply because of the price points! Let’s be REAL HERE, not many can shop like we used to $65 plus shipping tax, is expensive these days! But, it really is worth it if you use it ALL the time! I think it’s personal preference that’s fine with me! I am thinking of purchasing the Bronze or Biba palette, but only time my bank account will tell🤣😉 #haul #beautyhaul #eyeshadowhaul #eyeshadow #eyeshadowpalette #palette #newpalette #eyeshadowlooks #musthaves #natashadenona #makeup #influenster #mummahdarlingreviews (IG😊🥰✌🏼🕊️🫂🌹).
LOVE THIS SOSOSOSOSO MUCH! Every other person hates the cream-to-powder formula, but I think it’s because they don’t use it with their fingers. This palette is my go to because I use her c2p as a base (they are also beautiful by themselves) and I feel they help prevent creasing! I love her shimmer formula, but whenever I pick this up, it’s for those as a base which should say a lot because I usually only pick up a palette for a shimmer since I don’t always have the time for brushes.
If any shade gets the most hate, it’s probably “tor” due to it not showing up on certain skin tones, but any video that had that complaint was using a brush for application and didn’t like using the finger approach.
Personally, it’s my FAVORITE shade!!!! It’s such a beautiful gray that can be so versatile because it can be warmer or cooler depending on the shade that you throw on it. I haven’t had a chance yet to try my favorite shade from the Bronze palette, ‘rhodium,’ but I just have a feeling that I will just love it! I paired it with the shade “Meteor” from Lunar Beauty’s ‘Eternal Eclipse’ and it was just perfect, as well when I also paired it with a couple shades from Glamlite’s ‘Chocolate Donut!’ If you are into taupe, or the shades that are like a warm-purple-gray vibe, then “tor” it just for you!.
Overall, this is a well executed and convenient palette concept. I like how wearable and well thought-out the color story is — often with ND palettes, the color stories are a little redundant. But here, you can get warm, cool, and neutral glam looks from this same midi-palette, so it’s a great price for what you get.
That said, I think the labels on the palette — while they initially seem helpful — end up creating some disappointment. Some of the “outer eye lid” shades lack the pigment that I’d expect for a shade that I’m putting there.
In other words, I’d be happy with the color in general but not for where I’m told to place it. As odd as it sounds, that leads to a disappointing experience at first. So I’d recommend pretending like the names aren’t there and simply using the colors as you see fit based on how much pigment they actually have.
Lastly, some of the shades look a little more metallic in the pan than they show up on the eyelid, which was disappointing for me because the palette doesn’t add as much “glam” as I’d like, and I end up dipping into my Pat McGrath palettes for that extra sparkle.
Other than that, this is a solid effort and would be a great palette for easy day-to-night looks or traveling.

I have both the les nuit and les jours but I just don’t find myself reaching for them. This product is just okay for me. There are lots of better products on the market. I like the utility of being able to separate the shadows and rearrange them at will but other than that I find nothing special about these.
Every shade has this sort of pearlized finish so the company needs more variety in terms of the finishes. The colors are ok- nothing special. I know this is supposed to be natural looking and I am a fan of natural looking makeup but the color payoff is not the greatest and the colors themselves are a bit dull and muted.
There is creasing and somehow all the colors end up bleeding into each other, so it ends up looking like a muddy mess. I wish all of them were sold separately because usually there is only one or so color that either I am interested in and/or that suits me of the sets, yet you have to buy the whole thing and have pods of colors that you never use because in my case they don’t compliment my skin shade.
This doesn’t need to be the case because they are already detachable, so why not sell them separately? It seems wasteful. Side note: Some of the lighter colors tend to look a bit ashy on mid to deep brown skin tones.
All in all I just didn’t love it….
I am 59 yo with hazel eyes , cooler skin tone and have a full time job. I really appreciate the magnetic system which keeps the pods together. The colors are beautiful soft and easy to apply. I haVe used everyday with the peachy color on eyelid and greenish gray as my eyeliner and slightly smudged on outer corner to lift eye.
When you’re older it is more difficult to do that flick on outer edge and this formula does not end up smudged under my oily eyes at end of the workday. I do add black eye pencil just on upper waterline ( but not past outer corner) if I want more definition.
The shimmer on the peach shade is flattering and does not accentuate wrinkles it is almost like magic. I think matte shadows which they say are all you should use after certain age can be blah. I do agree you need stiffer brush to get color payoff but I don’t agree with others that it does not show up.
I do use MAC eye primer in squeeze tube as I do with all my shadows Mature ladies this is a winner in my book. Also I have Tabac in single pod which I purchased first and I connected it to this trio.
Think it will be great for travel !.
I had so many hopes to love it. It looks like as a masterpiece. The packaging super luxurious , it’s my all favorite, well designed & so beautiful and it has the highest quality possible. But the product… it’s where you find this disappointment.
The colors are nice, and it has fine glitters inside, it’s super cute. I mean at a glance it’s a perfection. But when you start use it, you understand that you have to use it in a right sequence other wise colors are mixing and no dimension but full mess.
But it’s ok, as long as you understand this you can figure this out. But the main issue it doesn’t last, it’s creasing. They simply fading very quickly. Like your skin absorbing it. I have dry skin, I use eye base and powder to make them stay longer, nothing helps unfortunately.
They are fading and creasing. Just a mess.

I love the texture! Great product! Better! Very sexy?”! This is really great the texture is smooth and the smell is nothing. I like the packaging. Its easy to carry with you and works well! I personally really like this brand but there are others I need to try.
It really gets rid of under eye bags.
It is easy to apply. Not Sure why it’s called golden sunset. there’s nothing gold or sunset about it. More like a cool ton metallic cream shadow. they reflect lights very well. I use it as an eye shadow base.
the color is not very saturated but The colors are pretty and a little bit goes a long way.

In the summertime, dabbing some creme eyeshadow on my lids is about the extent of my makeup routine, which is saying a *lot* for someone who otherwise religiously sports a winged liner look. I remember using the shimmer eyeshadow pots from Dior for a couple summers before retiring them in lockdown.
I was sad when I realized that they discontinued that line and after a lot of hemming and hawing between options, it came down to this line and the ones from CT. I got both Platinum and Sphinx. I cant really compare this one to the ones I used from Dior as the formula is completely different, but what I will say is that this is just, if not more, beautiful than the “original” for me.
This is a creamier, more pigmented formula, and the shimmer is sophisticated and grown up. No glitter here. However – Sphinx has this way of catching the light that is very unique in my experience. It looks like a normal mid-tone sand color going on, but in the light, the lightly pink/gold flecks sing its own song – its elegant and tastefully done.
I honestly couldnt expect less from this brand, lol. Verdict: I say splurge on the TF version if you are shopping for a creme eyeshadow pot like this one. The shimmery finish is the most visible aspect of these formulas, so its worth the extra coin.
Regular eyeshadow will not give you the same finish.
Received this complimentary via Influenster. Right off the bat I loved the color. The consistency is great too. It glides on so smooth, blends easily, and feels so soft and buttery. Not at all difficult to work with which is great for me being a working makeup artist.
I can really see myself using this as a go to product for weddings or special occasions for just about everyone. Mature skin and textured eyes would love this as it isn’t going to settle, isn’t overly glittery-No big chunks just a nice sheen to really open up the eye area.
The only negative I have is I find you definitely have to use a primer with it. In my pictures, the swap on my hand I have (L) with primer, (R) without and when I didn’t use a primer it went all over the place.
It rubbed off everywhere even over an hour of dry time. With a primer it stuck immediately and didn’t move anywhere. For the price I think there are probably similar products that do just the same but if you like luxury I’d say this product is pretty great and I would definitely be willing to get other colors for my kit.
The Tom Ford eyeshadow in Platinum is a great one and done eyeshadow. It lasted on my lids all day for me without any creasing or fading. One thing I do have to note is that this eye shadow is sparkly.
When I blend it I have to be carful to not blend past my eye area, because if I do go past I’ll see sparkles near the side around my temple area. The consistency of the cream shadow is very smooth and cool to the touch which makes blending it on my eyes pretty easy.
I also have the Charlotte Tilbury cream eyeshadow in Oyster Pearl, and I wanted to compare the two. The two of them are basically the same shade. TF (Tom Ford) is more sparkly, and CT (Charlotte Tilbury) is more reflective.
Both of them perform the same when applied on the lids, and they last the same amount of time too. I do have to say that CT is more pigmented than TF. Also, CT comes with more product in the pot with 7 mL compared to TF only 5 mL.
One point to mention is that the cons between the two eyeshadows is that the self life for both of them is only 6 months, I was hoping that TF would last longer, but I was mistaken. Ultimately, I’d say you should get CT Oyster Pearl it is more worth it than TF; get TF Platinum if you have money to spend.

Reviews From Real Customers
There are SO many eyeshadows in market right now, but this is most definitely something I haven’t seen with the different textures and pigments. Like the shade manifest it, feels like this. gel. silicone.
glossy feel that I thought would look weird on the eye but its SO beautiful and pigmented. OH! the pigment, lord the pigment. Its INSANELY pigmented yet also very easy to blend without having crazy fall out of the shadows.
I was very excited to try out the gel eyeliner shadow hybrid and its not a replacement to your gel eyeliner for sure – but gives you that smoked out gel liner look (hence the gel liner and shadow hybrid).
I have many eyeshadow palettes, but I would always find myself going to different palettes for different shades but I haven’t been doing that since getting this palette. My most favourite eyeshadow palette used to be Mercury retrograde and this has def taken over #1 spot.
I highly recommend if you are thinking about getting it for yourself or as a gift, you won’t go wrong with it. I tested the shadows out on my eyes, played around with it, didn’t do it properly properly but it was still so pretty and was shining even when I wasn’t under direct light.
Okay, aside from the price (I know it’s steep but real gold flakes!!!!), this palette is phenomenal!!!! The shades are divine, the shade with real gold flakes literally shines like a diamond. I’ve been using the liquid colors to create a liner look and a cut crease and then blend out (trying new tiktok trends) and they’ve blended better than I would expect.
I love the peachy tones and the tye dye purple gold shade on my lid for work time. This palette can just go everywhere with you and transfer from day to night and not have to also travel with liners.
I know it’s pricey but I would buy this! Also, there’s no scent to it which I like. I hate when they add perfume to eye palettes. The o king is lovely also and the palette itself is heavy and doesn’t feel cheap.
That’s not my first Huda Beauty palette, so I’m not a stranger for the quality of the brand’s shadows, how pigment they are or how easy to blend them. One of the things that I absolutely love about this palette is the packaging, it’s stunning and luxurious.
Also there is braille writing on the package which is impressive how Huda Beauty is taking actual steps for more inclusive beauty community. Lastly the shadows are stunning from the different colors to the different textures, you can definitely create a wide range of looks with it both for day looks and more Smokey night looks.
I 10000% recommended this palette! It’s so much fun.

I received from Influenster. I found that the shadows in this compact were best as a day to day look. There are 3 shimmer shades but they are all light/medium day colors. None of the shades will work as a highlight if you have light or fair skin.
A person would need to be tan or darker to use even the lightest shade to highlight. The sole matte is a brown that feels neutral to warm. Honestly, it’s one of very few high end small palettes that I feel have a brown that would not be ashey as a base color on darker skin as mini palettes tend towards a cool tone brown.
(a. k. a. greyish). I also respect that the brand decided to make a talc free formula and that it still blended beautifully. Talc usually lowers the cost of ingredients significantly and makes things blendable but is regularly harvested near asbestos.
So the concern for health is admirable. As for why I took off a star. If this were an inexpensive product I probably wouldn’t feel as annoid by the waste of space taken up by horrible little brushes.
I feel they wasted money on this pair of little disposable things. I tried them just to be sure. Yes, they work but do not lend themselves to easy cleaning, the size made them so difficult to hold, and application was a disservice to the quality of the shadows.
Rearranging the quad to be long to add one quality brush that a hand could hold would have been acceptable (think Urban Decay palettes). Decreasing the packaging and ridding the brushes could have been lovely.
This would have made the compact smaller for carrying and the packaging is so rich that they could have made the same profit while lowering the cost due to more packaging and whatever the lousy brushes cost.
They did use the pretty packaging for the handles which are too short to hold. The shadows themselves are gorgeous and have quality ingredients that are valuable. It’s like having a 5 star restaurant serve dinner and give sporks to eat with.
This is my first Tom Ford palette (Tiger Eye). I had previously heard raving reviews about the formula of their shadows and was quite excited to try it out for myself. First of all, the packaging just screams luxury.
It’s not your typical cheap plastic container, but there is some weight to it and looks simple yet expensive. It comes with two shadow applicators that I don’t care too much for as I prefer my trusted brushes, but they seem to be decently soft and easy to use.
Now the shadows themselves: Formula: the formula is very creamy and easy to blend. I don’t experience any fall out despite them containing glitter/shimmer, so that’s a huge plus. Love the formula. Pigment: they were surprisingly not as pigmented as I expected them to be.
I’d definitely suggest using a primer first, lest they appear muddy or dull. I’d prefer more pigment in the top left shade, but the others are buildable and friendly for beginners to use as you can’t really apply too much at once.
Overall: I absolutely love the formula and would be interested in seeing if the other quads have stronger pigment or if the light but buildable color payoff is common for TF palettes. I myself prefer light layers because I like to built it up, but if you’re looking for very strong pigments, this might not be for you.
I can see myself using this for daily use as the colors are understated yet have a beautiful sheen.
Tom Ford’s Eye Color Crème Eyeshadow Quad in the Tiger Eye variety had sleek, elegant packaging. The entire presentation felt very luxurious from the compact eyeshadow design to the small cloth bag it came in.
I love that it had a mirror and had room for small eyeshadow applicators for on the go. It even came with two double sided applicators. I love the color palette of the eyeshadow. Three had shimmer to them and the brown was more matte.
However, the swatches on my skin don’t show up as pronounced even if the pigment looks strong at first. They are very muted or blend into my natural skin color, so at times it doesn’t look like I’m wearing eyeshadow.
This eyeshadow probably isn’t as well suited for my skintone than others, or I may not be applying it as well as I could. I was a bit disappointed that these crème eyeshadows don’t have lasting power.
After I get home from work every day, I would see that almost all of my eyeshadow had melted/dissolved away during the day. The crème texture that although very soft and smooth, would make applying my eyeliner difficult.
I would end up having to use even more eyeliner, so my eyeliner wouldn’t look muted. Although I wanted to love this eyeshadow set, I felt it fell a little short for it’s price and prestige.

here is where this product let me down: this cream eyeshadow comes with a lot of claims—a 3 in 1 primer, liner, and shadow that is longwearing, budgeproof, waterproof, smudge and crease resistant, etc.
i did not find this product lived up to these claims. without a primer underneath, this shadow creased on me within 4 hours i found it lost a lot of its color payoff with wear, leaving a greasy shine to my eye with little pigment.
though i didn’t test its waterproof claim under water, the shadow ended up coming off quite easily when i washed my face with my regular cleanser this bummed me out, mainly because i really loved the taupey brown color of this shade and wanted it to last all day! here is how i will likely use this product: i think this will work much better as a primer for powder eyeshadows.
my hope is that the tackiness of this product will help regular eyeshadow grip onto my eye, and that by pairing it with a similar toned powder shadow i’ll be able to preserve the shade payoff for longer so – is this product one i think you should rely on for long, active summer days or for when you need your makeup to last? no.
but for the price, i think it is workable if you need an affordable priming shade to layer underneath powder shadows.
I’m still figuring out ways to use up the two shadows I got, Wispy Cloud and Plateau. They are most reliable as liners. But as eyeshadows or primers, they can be fickle. There’s not much playtime to blend before it sets, and it’s difficult to blend evenly with either a brush or a clean fingertip.
I prefer the latter because it’s gentler on skin, with the amount of hurried blending this needs. Once this product is sheered out (and it will, eventually, by a lot), it needs setting with a powder.
It’s as if it needs a thick layer of itself in order to live up to its claims of being lost-lasting, or pigmented. But thick layers of primer don’t work well, and much less so for hooded eyes if the primer is pigmented.
As an eyeliner, though, I like this a lot better than most gel-pot eyeliners. However, it sets so fast and so tenaciously that I have to clean my brush multiple times during the same application, otherwise it forms a latex-like coat gluing the bristles.
I got the shades Sand Dune and Canyon. The formula feels thin to apply, as in it feels creamy and doesn’t tug. But once it sets it’s very long lasting and doesn’t bunch up in my crease at all. It seems to repel water, which is probably why it stays on so well, but that does mean that it can be fussy to apply if my eye is watering at all.
It absolutely will not stick to any damp spots around my eyes. That’s not really a con, just something to note to get better results with this product. The shades I have are gorgeous and are accurately represented in the photos on the website.
Sand Dune pairs nicely with the shade Cruisin’ Chic on the center of the lid from the old ELF Smudge Pot formula that I still have. Both shades are also beautiful on their own across the whole lid or paired with powder shadows.
Conclusion
There are a few things to keep in mind when choosing a cream eyeshadow palette for mature eyes. First, consider the colors that will work best with your skin tone and eye color. Second, think about the finishes that you like.
Third, choose a palette that has a good mix of matte and shimmer shades. Finally, make sure the shadows are easy to blend.
With all of that in mind, we think the best cream eyeshadow palette for mature eyes is the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Pocket Palette in Nude Awakening. This palette has six shadows in a range of nude and neutral shades.
The finishes include both matte and shimmer. The shadows are easy to blend and look great on mature skin.
