20 Best Cc Creams For Oily Skin (2023 Updated)

Dermablend’s unique selling point “used to be” that they offered near exact skin tone matching along with sunscreen (for skin health and to prevent skin tone change). They had the best advertisements proving this point – including one impressive ad Dermablend had with a head-to-toe tattooed gentleman getting covered with their make-up.

That ad and others were pretty awesome. I am sad to say that is not the case anymore at least where this concealer product is concerned. I know lots of things changed during the last couple years, and I cannot say if that is good/bad necessarily.

Hopefully, they are not drifting more into the “make-up counter” make-up where Estee Lauder, Mac, and Chanel and other brands. I really don’t know and am not here to judge – just sharing my experience.

After 10+ years as customer, I am no longer because the primary product I used to use, “Smooth Liquid Camo Concealer”, was replaced with this “Continuous Correction Cream” and its closest color is still very far from what it was originally.

Would’ve gladly paid 25-50% more for that “Camo” product because it matched so well. Not only is the shade too dark for me, but the make-up “finish” is “shiny” which is something I associate with make-up from the 1970s.

So, unless you’re a 15 year-old girl trying to get into a nightclub (is that a thing anymore?) and actually want to look older, then this is the makeup for you. Otherwise, if you’re an adult willing to pay “adult prices” you might be disappointed with your investment and, like me, want to take advantage of the 30-day return policy if, for nothing else, to prove a point that “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

This product is awesome! I’ve been a lover/hater of the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream for years, but I always abandon it because it takes a lot to make it look skin like on me (even though it looks great after some work).

so I was afraid that this would have the same issue. but it doesn’t! This is full coverage, but it’s the kind of full coverage that just evens out your skin tone and doesn’t obliterate any and all pigmentation at the expense of a skin like finish, it lasts about 9 hours on my combo oily skin before showing serious signs of wear, it blurs my pores a bit, it doesn’t oxidize, it doesn’t pick up on dry patches too badly, and it doesn’t get patchy throughout the day.

but the best part is that it has a shade that is albino friendly! I am on the albino spectrum. so finding shades that match me is VERY difficult, but 10N works PERFECTLY for me (and to find an albino friendly shade in a CC cream range is even more impressive because they’re very limited.

) You also only need a pea sized amount to cover your entire face, neck and ears. so it will definitely last a long time. making it very reasonably priced in my opinion. (The SPF in it also doesn’t cause any breakouts for me, which is a plus.

) Now for the “negatives”. it does take a bit of work for me to be satisfied with it. I use a damp sponge to apply it, then I use a powder foundation on a fluffy eyeshadow brush to set my oily areas (around the nose, the crease of my chin, under my eyes, center of the forehead,) and then I use setting spray to let it melt into the skin, and it looks best about 3-4 hours after application.

but before and after that mark it isn’t at it’s peak. These are normal steps in a base routine for most people, but I prefer to be able to just slap my foundation on and go and have it look great from the time that I apply it until I remove it (which is why I prefer powder foundation, powder also takes less work to look natural.

) It is also NOT transfer proof in any way, shape or form. so beware when wearing a mask or touching your face. It is also not suitable for the under eye area. I am not an under eye concealer girl. I just use my foundation, but this creases so badly that that is impossible.

so I have to throw another extra product in there (concealer) for this to work for me, unfortunately. My final complaint is that blending powder products over this is a problem because they disturb the base even if you’ve set it.

so you have to be VERY gentle when blending blush, bronzer, contour etc. All that being said. this product DOES impress me, I do enjoy wearing it multiple times a week, and I get compliments whenever I wear it! Everyone’s skin and preferences are different, so you may not have to play with it as much as I do (or you may not mind having to put in that effort,) but despite it’s flaws it’s still a beautiful product that I enjoy using! Definitely give it a try!.

I’ve been on the HUNT for a perfect foundation / CC cream. I’m a full coverage / medium coverage gal and my skin? It’s a little difficult. I have bad redness, big pores, texture and my skin type is “normal” until you get to my nose creases then it tends to be dry there.

I’ve been hunting for about 1 years now trying every brand you can think of!!! Nars, too faced, Marc jacobs, IT cosmetics, Morphe 2, M. A. C, Urban Decay, Anastasia, Lancôme, shisedo And SO MUCH MORE.

My pockets HURT. While all these are great foundations, they weren’t exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that protects, blurs, hydrates, camouflages, lasts long, doesn’t transfer, true to color match and with a satin finish.

and finally I stumbled upon this gem! My holy grail after YEARS. It works best applied with a dense foundation brush and a good hydrating primer. My skin looks so good with this CC cream. Runner up would be IT cosmetic’s CC Cream; but I’m telling y’all, this one is THE ONE.

It lasts all day, it gives a stunning satin finish, doesn’t transfer or slip n slide around, it’s rich in its color and easily blends with other products. Flash back is beautiful, no oxidizing. I mean it’s a dream in a tube.

It does well with masks. Doesn’t separate or gather. Evens skin tone and evens skin texture. I will be buying this from now on.

I have been using this product every single day for several months now. The first couple of times using it I didn’t like it because it emphasized my dry spots and texture, but that was my fault. I wasn’t using the correct moisturizer to combat the dryness tretinoin leaves me.

Now that I am, I have really enjoyed this CC cream. If I use a sponge to apply the product I’ll get a light coverage, however if I use a brush I can get a medium to somewhat full coverage. If you want a full full coverage product then this isn’t for you.

If you have acne like me and do not mind if it peeks out a bit then this product is for you. It doesn’t break me out or aggravate any breakouts I currently have. I love how this brand is conscious of their ingredients; it’s expensive but totally worth it!.

This is, by far, my favorite CC cream! I initially tried it as a sample in my Ipsy bag, but I have repurchased multiple times since. This CC cream looks and feels natural and leaves a lovely glow to my skin.

Would definitely recommend as a replacement for foundation for those who prefer light to medium coverage. I enjoy using it in the summer when I don’t want a lot of heavy makeup on my face. My preferred method of application is a dampened beauty sponge, but I’m sure fingers or a brush could also be used.

The best on the market in regard to coverage without looking or feeling heavy. I have dry, sensitive skin in the winter, and have issues with foundation settling in my pores on my cheek, leaving little dots all over.

this is one of the few foundations that doesn’t do that and can also be set with powder without completely showing every wrinkle and imperfection on my face. I have finished a tube and was able to buy 2 during their bogo sale, so now I have it in the lightest shade for winter and the next shade up for summer.

I had been going through so many other brands this winter trying to find an ok shade for my pale skin that didn’t look awful, so glad I came back to this stuff.

When my usual BB cream with sunscreen changed their formula I was really happy to find that Pacifica had a CC cream with sunscreen. The texture and shade were nice on this one, and it felt good. Very light and like a second skin.

Unfortunately the fragrance ruined it. From the moment I started applying it the fragrance was strong and not a scent I enjoyed (kind of a powdery musty scent with a hint of old flowers), but then it quickly became evident I was allergic to it.

My sinuses started going nuts, and my eyes and nose itched like mad. I had to wash it off after a couple of hours. Since it’s spring, a windy day, and I’d been outside I decided to try again the next day just in case I’d come in contact with something outside that aggravated my allergies, but the same result.

Very disappointing, and I returned it. It seems odd for a CC cream to have fragrance in the formula, especially a fragrance strong enough to be noticeable. I checked the BB cream as well when I was in the store and it also has fragrance listed in the ingredients, though lower down instead of midway in the list.

It’s disappointing as I like Pacifica. Even if it hadn’t caused my allergies to go haywire I’d probably have returned it because the fragrance was pervasive and unpleasant to have in proximity to my nose.

I have used this cc crème for years. It provides a lightweight coverage that is perfect for minimal foundation. It is also one of few spf products that doesn’t seem to cause breakouts. My only issue with this product is that the last year or two the product breaks down.

After very vigorous shaking…it still seems to separate. If not shaken well it can be an oily, tinted mess. I emailed Pacifica about this and because I purchased at a retail store and not online they couldn’t do anything about it.

Thought maybe a formula change or something? The last two bottles I purchased directly from Pacifica- same issue. I still use it and have kept the product because when you get the right consistency it is worth it especially with the spf.

It just takes a lot of shaking and sometimes days working through wasting some of the product just to get there. I probably will try other products to see if I can find something better due to the issue.

But, until then I will use.

I bought this in 2 colors, the fair and warm/light. It feels wonderful on the skin. Softens the texture and evens out skin tone just enough to look like me, but better. I am in my late 50’s and while I have very healthy skin for my age, I find that less is always more to look younger.

I adore this brand for not having heavy chemicals or parabens. If you prefer a natural, healthy look – this CC cream will fit the bill. Regarding colors – I find myself using the warm/light all over and adding the fair tone under eyes and blend out towards mid of face.

It does not settle into lines, and my skin feels silky. I would think the Fair would be good for redheads or fair skinned blondes. The warm/light seems more versatile. Best thing about this is the SPF and knowing I’m protected and skin feels nourished.

Grabbed this when it was on sale for $29! I can truly say that this is a great product, however I’m not sure if I’d ever spend more than $30 on this and considering it retails for $42… idk. I previously have only used low end bb/cc cream so this my first time with a higher end one.

Not sure how to feel honestly because I’m not blown away but it is by no means a bad product. I LOVE the finish of it, its slightly glowy and sparkly. However its really thick and doesn’t feel hydrating.

It gives a glow but it dries a bit so it feels matte with a wash of sparkle over it if that makes sense. Still gives a lovely finish I just wish it stayed dewy/hydrated. The reason why I rated this high is because of the amazing skincare benefits.

I just figure that if I am wearing makeup I might as well have a high spf and anti aging properties! Also this product smells amazing upon application, like oranges, but at the end of the day when I took it off with a makeup wipe it smelled spoiled.

Also the shade fair is described as having a yellow undertone, however it pulls very neutral/grey. Was very disappointed since I have a yellow undertone and was hoping it would be accurate however it does thankfully blend out well enough to match my skin.

Theres just so much good about this product but the few bad things prevent me from giving it a full 5. If I ever find something better I won’t repurchase but for the mean time this is my daily product!.

I love this stuff. My Grandmom turned me on to it when I was complaining about my skin suddenly looking dry and crepey with my previous foundations. I wouldn’t consider it full coverage but it’s definitely color correcting, which I love.

It doesn’t hide my freckles but it evens out my skin tone and keeps it looking hydrated and fresh. It is illuminating so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who has oily skin. This is best suited for someone who’s face is lacking a natural glow and you definitely don’t need much.

A little goes a long way. In the summer, it’s my go-to for the beach/pool with no added make up to give me a natural but even skin tone. Makes my skin look flawless. For work days etc I’ll add a light powder contour and blush and I’m good to go.

In the winter I add a setting little powder to my routine to tone down the illumination. There was a learning curve with this stuff for me but once I figured it out, I was sold. If it helps, I treat it more like a tinted moisturizer than I do a full coverage foundation.

I don’t think this is suited for anyone looking for that full face make up finish. This is more natural. If I have an event that I want to be more done up, I add a drop of my other full coverage foundation, dab together on the back of my hand and apply.

So I am obviously 100 years late on the hype train for this CC cream. It’s been around for a long time and pretty much everyone in the world appears to be using it. I’d heard reviews suggesting the formula is quite thick and high coverage, neither of which appealed to me and, as such, I never went out of my way to try it out.

Finally, it was sent to me to try and I had it laying around for far too long when I misplaced my favourite foundation and opted to try this one out of convenience. The claims that the consistency is quite thick and the coverage is quite high are very much accurate, but this is a very flexible formula that blends out beautifully and leaves behind a natural finish with great longevity.

It doesn’t look heavy or cakey or mask-like, which are my usual fears with thick, high-coverage foundations. This can be thinned out with a damp beauty sponge as well, if you want to tailor your finish.

I love how it evens out my complexion and covers my redness. The SPF is also a huge asset. It doesn’t irritate or break out my acne-prone combination skin. I’m glad I finally got around to trying it.

Having a fair complexion, it’s sometimes hard to match foundation without looking like I’m wearing a mask. Unfortunately this doesn’t blend as well as I’d hoped. I do love the way this feels on my skin and the added benefit of sunscreen.

I’ve toned it down by mixing it with a very light shade of Burts Bees tinted moisturizer. For the time I’ve used it I could definitely see a more even tone to my skin, but would prefer to save a step plus buy less product to get that look.

Over all this is a wonderful product, just wish there were two shades to choose from versus just the one, which is why it got 4 stars. If you have a very fair complexion, this may be a tad darker than you’d like.

I would still recommend this product as it definitely does what it says.

I’ve been issuing OLAY Total Effects w/ touch of foundation for about 5years or more. I don’t wear makeup, maybe just some mascara and lips on occasion. This moisturizer gives me a beautiful feeling and finish to my face.

I absolutely love it and hope it never goes away. Downside is that I cannot wear in the summer because my face gets tanned & it doesn’t work for me. I just recently purchased other Olay Moisturizers to try for the summer & excited to explore some more great options.

I had never tried a product like this before. My first time and I was hooked. It is moisturizing from the moment it is applied. The foundation blends so smoothly and conceals pinkish or darker areas without any telltale signs of intentional coverup.

It feels a little unreal how comfortable and refreshing it feels an how natural it looks with so little effort required. My best go to look for any season.

I really needed a cc cream for a while and it seemed like an added bonus with spf because that’s definitely important. However, I was sceptical about the ‘adjusting to all skin tones’ part, seeing it to looked quite light and i’m a fairly dark skinned asian.

When I first applied it, i was horrified. It didn’t blend in, it looked waaay too light for my skin and i looked grey, I wanted to wipe it off but i gave it a chance. I was right to do so because after 10 minutes it didn’t look so bad, I didn’t look ashy or grey, it had surprisingly slightly adjusted to my skin tone like it claimed, but not enough.

It was still too light. It has a flawless finish, great for my normal-oily combination skin and good light coverage as you’d expect for a cc cream but doesn’t work for medium-deep skin tones. Because I paid quite a bit for this cc cream I am making it work by adding a tiny bit of my foundation shade to darken the tone, but after I finish using this, I am definitely not going to purchase this again.

I use this cream as a foundation even though it’s light, it’s great coverage. It leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed and the redness in my skin has gone since I started using it. I apply it with a foundation brush and it matches my skin colour amazingly.

Flawless and effortless to apply (especially in the morning) and at £25 I was dubious but I’ll never look back and it lasts ages!.

I love this cc cream. First i used the tester and i am overwhelmed. Really great if you don’t use a lot of foundation. Its for the people who like a little bit of color on their face not for the clowns who paint their whole face.

Ease of application. I was a little skeptical when I ordered a cc cream that it would be very heavy. I needed a little more coverage but…turns out to be light as a feather! I love it. It does provide very good coverage, all the while, looking and feeling like your own skin.

I use a wet makeup sponge and am very meticulous. If you’re in a hurry, better to use a BB cream or tinted moisturizer. It won’t be the same look however. I use this if I am going out and use tinted moisturizer for more of an everyday look.

This matte CC Cream provided full coverage for several hours. I actually prefer a matte finish to a dewy one. I am sometimes oily in the T-zone and this CC cream delivered, and I did not look oily in that area.

This product looked best on me when I moisturized and used a primer beforehand. When I didn’t prime, the CC cream settled a little more into my fine lines, and gave me a few dry patchy areas. The alabaster shade worked perfectly with my skin tone.

I am a fair/porcelain shade with blue eyes and blonde hair and have neutral undertones. The shade blended flawlessly and felt so lightweight, which I loved. My skin had a few blemishes, and can also appear a little blotchy, and this covered the unevenness really well, and also hid my blemishes.

I didn’t give it 5 stars because I felt a little bit of a tingling/itchiness at times. almost like I could feel my skin drying out. Sometimes full coverage foundations/creams can be very drying though.

The Neutrogena Clear Coverage Flawless Matte CC Cream is a good all in one product. I like that it contains foundation, lotion and more all in one bottle. You don’t need to apply 3+ products each morning to get the same benefits.

This is especially great for busy people or those who can’t or don’t want to spend a lot of money on multiple products. The coverage is good. You can easily use more or less of the product to suit your needs.

I liked to use more in spots that I needed more coverage, almost like a concealer and then less all over my face. The only downside is that it’s not as moisturizing as I would like in the winter. So I ended up needing to use a light moisturizer first on my face if I wanted to keep my face more moisturized like I would want.

But that’s a personal preference and not something I think I would need to do in the summer time when it’s more warm and humid. Overall a nice product, that’s similar to other BB or CC creams in the market.

A lovely lighter version of their CC creame. This CC water is the perfect base for daily summer make-up. It applies beautifully over my skincare and SPF. Also, a little bit goes a long way! The tint is a bit deeper than its CC creme counterpart and for me, it doesn’t cling to any dry patches which I had a little hard time covering with their CC creame.

This CC water enhances the skin while color correcting and hydrating. It is a very light formula with hyaluronic acid that keeps the face moist. It evens out skin tone and makes it glow without being oily.

It does have a nice scent, and if you’re worried about it, it dissipates quickly for those with sensitive noses to fragrance. Will definitely buy it again.

I’ve been on the hunt for any base product without silicones for a good bit as I have very sensitive skin. I can’t use a lot/most silicones, shea butter, other types of emollients, chemical sunscreens, etc.

And I’ve found that something will tick every box BUT one and I can’t use it because I know my skin will react poorly. I saw this online and became intrigued because it checks every box. Where’s the catch? There has to be a catch.

in regards to the formulation, there isn’t one. It went on smoothly and even tho it has the “shade adjusting” gimmick, it was fun to watch it go from clear to another color. And it’s SUPER light coverage which is what I want especially during summer months.

It’s perfect except it isn’t. The shade range is TERRIBLE. I ordered the color Dore since it is summer (in the Northern Hemisphere) and I knew I’d get somewhat darker but it does sheer out a lot and with concealer, it’s easily corrected where you can’t even tell which is fine BUT even with very sheer shades where multiple skin tones can use 1 shade, there still need to be more than 3 offerings on the travel size and ONLY 2 on the full size.

I believe there should be AT LEAST 5 shades to sweep over various skin tones and if it were done right, like Fenty where they have 25 colors for their skin tint. I will use this up and may end up getting the FS but if I can find something more inclusive, I won’t come back to this.

I’ve been using Erborian’s original CC for a long time and I love that product so I was excited try a new version. This is simply awful. It doesn’t blend on the skin and stays watery for a long time.

As I tried to work it with my fingers to get the colour to activate and blend evenly but it either caused piling or looked patchy and orange. It collected around my eyebrows and in general I found it unpleasant on the skin and unflattering.

I’ve tried it 3 times with different moisturisers, with and without SPF and it was always a fail. It’s a shame because the original is a star product.

Overall, I really like this product. I chose it because the color was beautiful on my skin and reduced my redness. Also, it had good health ratings through the EWG as a safe CC cream. The smell is like weird fruit loops but you don’t smell it once it’s blended.

This products blends well with either a sponge, brush, or fingers. However, this product doesn’t add a whole lot of coverage and is very oily on my skin. It slightly reduces my redness but doesn’t provide the coverage I need.

Also, I can feel this product on my skin. It’s light, but because it’s greasy, I can feel it clinging to my skin. If I sweat or am subject to humidity, it feels like the product is melting off my face.

I find this product does this whether I use primer and setting spray, or not. I can add powder on top but that doesn’t reduce the greasy shine. It almost feels sticky on the skin. I would prefer this product add more coverage and be way less greasy.

I absolutely love this Juice beauty product. It sucks they changed the shades but besides that, everything about this CC cream is amazing. Since using this I noticed my acne and inflammation drastically go down.

Not to mention it also helps with dark spots! I have sensitive skin so I can’t just slap sunscreen onto my face so a lady at ultas suggested this. Tbh I use it more for my acne and dark spots but having natural minerals for sunscreen is a PLUS! I read a lot of ppl say it’s too oily and smells bad.

In my opinion I have oily skin but this doesn’t make me any more oily than I already am. It also smells like fruit loops and I love it. All the natural organic ingredients in this make me so happy. I actually feel safe putting this on my face.

One of the best ingredients has to be the coconut oil because it is a natural antibiotic for acne causing bacteria. It is also a natural skin lightening oil for hyperpigmentation! No wonder it’s been helping my dark spots and active acne! Ppl assume that oily skin doesn’t need moisture or that it is already hydrated but that is false.

This would have been the most amazing product I purchased on the day I was shopping one certain day. One specific day. You get your hopes up that you’re going to the biggest mall you’ve ever been in your life and you’re thinking with all 500+ stores in the small you would think that I could go ahead and be excited about finding the correct foundation for my skin or even just any kind of foundation under the sign that you know there’s many names for a base foundation you know yada yada yada so.

and some people just called let you know the main make up? And I’m like I don’t know what you’re talking about, LOL. The main make up? So you see not everyone knows exactly what you mean when you say that because there’s so much more with make up by this year of nearly 2021 that it is absolutely wowed that we can’t even just say base in someone and I make up counter know what we’re talking about!? Literally that was the only word I used to use when I first started wearing make up and no I’m not 50 honey remember mid30s still very young-no wrinkles.

However, this product I just held it up so hard because I know that the BB cream is wonderful and I heard a lot about this through the BB cream and they were like try the camera ready you know it’s camera cream perfect you know and I’m like well if his TV perfect which is basically camera perfect then I should be able to find my shade and it should be able to go on thick enough but not dripping off my face as some Instagram females feel comfortable with, I myself like to leave all at least a little natural to myself.

I would like you know to at least be recognized when I do wear make up LOL! I know I don’t wear make up every day because every guy I’ve ever dated plus ever gal pal I’ve ever had has said things like I’m so jealous of the fact that I’m so jelly that you never have to wear make up and you’re in your mid 30s already and you still don’t need to wear make up!? They say this because I’m half Italian my father is toll Sicilian Roman catholic blood so he believes as all of these they believed that my daughter looks like or my baby looks like his her daddy and that’s the way it is so.

lol! 🤣🤣 I just wanted a lot more out of this product as far as the mask actually driving through and through and letting me clean leave pick it off because it’s almost satisfying right girls I mean really when you’re pulling that off and it peels off so perfect that it pulls you can actually see were pull some of the dirt out of your pores on your nose or elsewhere?!! Of course that’s the best especially with the Beore? pads but truthfully truthfully even with the Beore? Blackhead nose black charcoal strips-all of that that you see on that pad I hope you guys don’t like really think or for a second I have even questioned that the clear part you see down on the nose pad once you pull it off or rip it off or whatever, that’s not all black kids sweetheart a lot of that just could’ve stayed in there and it’s not bacteria, visit your nearest I don’t know dermatologist because that’s what mine told me.

And that come from the horses mouth. This Smashbox camera ready I would Absolutely only recommend to anyone that’s exactly what it says, getting camera ready so it’s so thick you couldn’t even see our cockroach if it was crawling across their face, LOL! No offense at all just a little joke.

Because this is really really really really sick to say the least and it goes ALL OVERRRR THEN SOME- to say the least . 😱.

this product is nearly 5 stars but not a perfect 5. i decided to use this product alone (without any moisturizer, primer, setting powder or any other products) and result was spectacular. with other products combined i’m sure the results will be even better.

i get lazy at times and doing the usual makeup routine everyday becomes a hassle so that is why i’m choosing to get the bb cream because it combines 3 to 4 steps into one. the smashbox bb cream is good at controlling oil compared to most bb creams, which is one thing i like about it because i have combination skin so a bb cream with oil control is a plus.

i love how this bb cream gives very good coverage and is thick (a good thick, not thick where it becomes cakey and gross) and is also creamy. i have tried the bobbi brown bb cream and thought it was a little watered down because it has more water base for the enhanced hydration.

thus, the bobbi brown is more suitable for people who have dry/normal skin and the smashbox is good for oily/combination people. since smashbox bb cream is thicker, i would say that the product has a better lasting power than the bobbi brown bb cream.

thicker = only need a small amount of product each time you use and in the long run you save money because a little goes a long way. one other thing i like about this bb cream is that the shades are great.

i have medium skin tone and light/medium is perfect for my yellow skin tone. not sure if anyone else noticed but i find that light/medium is more yellowy and medium more pinkish. the smashbox bb cream shades do run slightly darker than usual, which is great for women who are medium to dark skin tone because most bb creams come in very fair shades.

This was a decent product and I usually dislike CC or BB cream. The lightweight formula neutralizes and brightens skin for a more even complexion, protects with SPF 30 and moisturizes while it controls oil and fades existing dark spot sun spots.

It covers nicely and you only need one coat, and the color range is great so everyone will find their shade. It doesn’t have sulfates or parabens, but I do wish that the formula was a little bit cleaner, if you look at the ingredient list it’s a mile long.

I also wish that you got more product for the size, this was an extremely expensive cc cream. I think this was a good not great product and I’m not likely to rebuy.

I got the light and agree it runs dark, which matched my tan, warm-toned European skin well. It leaves a velvet finish on my skin after moisturizer. It does not feel very moisturizing, in fact, I think it might be preferable for an oily toned person as my face actually feels a little tight.

The coverage blurred but did not totally cover broken blood vessels (which is what I was going for—I don’t like to look “made up”). Improved dark circles under eyes but still added concealer. I normally use the Juice CC Stem Cell cream and I think I prefer the dewier end of the spectrum for me (even though the Juice doesn’t match me as well and goes a little TOO glowy).

the matte/flat look just isn’t as much my style! And I actually prefer a little less coverage even though my skin is far from perfect. trying to hit a “no makeup makeup” look. But the product is still very good, high quality.

just not quite my style. If I could cross it with the Stem Cell cream and get a product in between, that might be just perfect. Still nice for a change of pace if I choose to go less glowy or if the stem cell is just too much for summer!.

There’s something magical about this stuff, and I can’t put my finger on it. I can’t use any of those serum-type foundations: too glowy and wet looking on me. This is the perfect combination of matte yet light reflecting.

But. it can be drying, by the end of the day.

I’ve been using this brand for the last 7 years. I love their colors! I wear this everyday- I get medium and normally Jennifer or Kate in their foundation. It’s light coverage but buildable. I like the texture, Definitely give it a try.

Everything Mirabella I don’t have a favorite. Because everything Mirabella IS my favorite. It’s really the best makeup I’ve ever used. Compared to more expensive, outrageously expensive and cheap makeup.

Especially the CC Cremes. It doesn’t irritate skin. I would know, because my skin is very sensitive to all other brands, but not Mirabella. Even after I accidentally slept with it on. I first discovered Mirabella right after it was released and sold at Salon Centric.

When Salon Centric discontinued selling it, Armstrong McCall then started selling it. I think AM recently discontinued selling it as well. These are all that I have at the moment. Love that it’s Cruelty-Free.

I love the way this looks on my face, not shiny, but not matte. And doesn’t get shiny through the day. BUT I bought it because the ad said it had SPF 20 (or 30?) and when I received the product (Defense) it has absolutely no mention of sunscreen or SPF anywhere on the bottle.

I emailed the company today to ask about that, but have gotten no reply. If it doesn’t have SPF it’s a bit of a deal breaker for me. Not to mention that it doesn’t make me feel like I can trust what the ads say or the quality of the product or integrity of the company.

I absolutely love all of mirabellas products! I have extremely sensitive skin, I have a hard time with most face products because they are too heavy and have ingredients that break me out. Mirabellas foundations are amazing! They are light and breathable and go on flawlessly.

I have been using their products for 10 years now and have no plan on ever changing!.

I bought this in medium color about 3 years ago and have been using it in the summer days or to the gym ever since. It really sticks on your face and doesn’t feel heavy at all! I was living in Saudi Arabia for a long time for my husbands job and I wear this as my go to the beaches on the weekends.

It keeps sunburn at bay, looks like my skin, and doesn’t transfer off that badly while being in 100 plus degree weather. My gf complimented me at work one year and said your face looks amazing and not like your caking on makeup, she’s now been using it ever since as well! The medium color is perfect for my skin, if you’re looking for an all day 12 hr wear, maybe not your top pick but out of other cc creams, this is my favorite because of the ingredients, staying power, and feel of it on my face.

The spf makes it my go to in the summer type of weather. It didn’t cause irritation on my sensitive combo skin either but I can’t really say it gave that matte look after a few hours because you get a bit shiny because of the spf but nothing that looks horrible and slides right off or anything.

I simply use a tissue and blot and then it helps. Also, it carries a hefty price of $40 but it does last a while.

Super worn in! I’ve purchased this twice so I liked it enough to come back to it. I got the wrong shade for myself the second time in the middle of covid as I ordered online, so if it was the right shade it could have been 4 stars.

The shade in the image is Medium Light. When I tried the “Light” shade previous I thought it was a bit too light, so that’s why I went with this but it’s way way too dark (although with a tan I can get away with it).

The other con is that it’s super super heavy. I have dry skin and even this sits on top of my skin so I can’t imagine how this would work on someone with oily skin. What I like about it is the whole CC cream + hydrating serum + SPF.

I’d say this is ideal for someone who doesn’t want to do a lot of skincare and wants to just throw something on quickly to even out their skin tone and protect their skin.

I love these small sizes. It Cosmetics has a great range of high functioning products. That being said, their CC creams come in a somewhat limited shade range compared to other lines. I wear either Fair-Light or Light-Medium depending on the time of year.

A small amount (less than a pea) of Light mixed with either of those shades can keep the cool shades from looking too gray, without looking orange. This matte formula is particularly great at this time of year (late, humid August) and can really help to spot conceal/ treat maskne.

First I just want to say This is NOT for full coverage , it won’t do much to cover or conceal nor does it claim to. It’s not a foundation and definitely is not a product for problematic skin , again not a foundation or concealer this is a CC and as far as a CC it is AMAZING.

I started this review stressing this because 99. 9% of the bad reviews I’ve came across are issues related to conceal/coverage or hiding problematic issues , which still, when used as directed alongside the correct application of combined products needed to get the results you desire , this product really does make a noticeable difference in the overall finish of your look.

Now with that being said Ive been fortunate to have well behaved skin for the most part. like most women in their late 30s my issues of concern naturally come with age dullness , uneven skin tone , enlarged pores , fine lines/winkle.

Nothing to noticeable or that would require more skill then it took to get me that scholarship or training then I got in that college or harder work then the 8-10 hour shift Id be setting my alarm an hour earlier for taking away the number of times I’m allowed to hit the snooze and my ability to get ready in less then 20 minutes thanks to the help of this life saving CC cream.

just 1 easily applied and super light airy feeling product eliminates the dependence of an entire collection of beauty products including the time it takes to apply the extra product , and that heaviness of the 10 extra pounds !!!! And none of them do anything to help your skin condition, they have no long term benefits like this CC Cream ….

Dab on your favorite natural rosey lip balm rub a small amount into your cheek bones , a little highlight is a must and swipe across eye lids , two strokes of mascara and your perfect natural look is amazing in less then 5 minutes and the 10 years that CC Cream took off your age just got you carded for that after work drink !!! a few brushes of your favorite mascara , a highlight and dab of your favorite lip stick.

I love this BB. I’m on my 4th tube! If you’re fair to light with cool undertones (NW13 for reference), Clair is a perfect match for you. the formulation unbelievably works for me in all seasons. I like how long this wears.

I like that it requires no primer but still plays nice with my sunscreen and moisturizer. I like that it matches my skin perfectly and almost completely hides both the color and texture issues I have without looking like caked on makeup.

My skin still looks like skin. I only like one BB better (Missha’s new perfect cover cream Rx reformulation with the red cap). Unfortunately it isn’t easy to get my hands on the Missha BB so I buy the erborian BB whenever it goes on sale.

Like others have commented, a little goes a long way.

This is a very nice product and does everything it claims. It moisturizes and also sets itself a little, so it could be easily used on no makeup days. It has very light coverage, hardly much at all. It is a white color at first, then adjusts to your skin color which I thought was pretty cool.

The lightest shade did make my fair skin a bit darker, but nothing too drastic. I was using it as a primer when my skin was extra dry. I’d put this on first, conceal where I needed to, applied liquid highlighter and then a light application of foundation, just to tie everything together nicely.

It performed very well this way and was a good prep step for the skin. It has SPF so that step is taken care of with this. I was excited about the benefits this product offered and I did notice my skin become smoother and more even toned.

All in all this is a cool product and I would repurchase.

I bought this after having a virtual consultation with SpaceNK and I LOVE it. The smell is quite strong at first but you soon get used to it! I initially tried this product and the Nars tinted moisturiser and preferred this one because the coverage is a little lighter.

That said, you can layer the product to increase coverage if that’s the look you are going for, but my skin has gotten so much better since working from home that I want to show it off, not cover it! My review of the virtual consultation: I made use of SpaceNK’s (fairly) new – and free – virtual consultation service yesterday and spent 20 minutes or so talking to the lovely Peter about tinted moisturisers.

Peter was sat in the back office at Space NK’s Hans Crescent store and at one point ‘took me’ to the shop floor (on his iPad) to show me a certain product. Peter followed up by email with links to the products he had recommended during the consultation and I also received a generous helping of samples through my letterbox this morning (thank you!).

All in all a very pleasant experience, and one that made me think – the internet doesn’t *have* to mean the end of the high-street. That is, if retailers are innovative and put themselves in the shoes of the consumer.

Of course, some retailers are restricted on what they can and cannot do, depending on what products they sell. But SpaceNK (and many other retailers) have shown that technology can be embraced, bridging the gap between physical and online stores and bringing a level of human-touch to customers, no matter where they are.

I’m usually a full coverage girl because I have a lot of freckles, some redness around my nose and slightly dark under eyes but recently have wanted to show my freckles and be more of a minimalist. I’ve tried so many tinted moisturisers and cc creams in the past incl.

Laura Mercier, Loreal etc. THIS IS THE BEST. It’s a more matte finish, isn’t streaky at all, colour corrects perfectly, the shade really does match to your skin tone, i’m super pale and wear fake tan regularly shade no1 matches me at my palest like nothing else and i wear no.

2 beige when i’m tanned. My fine lines disappear, it sits beautifully on top of moisturiser and sun screen and blush bronzer blend evenly over this without need for setting powder. Feels and looks like i’m wearing nothing.

10/10 recommend!.

I was so delighted to find this product in shade 2 at my local Bloomingdales because the CC Cream is being so ruthlessly fazed out by so many other brands of make-up. All-in-one is very convenient for lifestyle in a sweltering, coastal climate.

This one by Terry has been one of my favorites along with Armani Prima CC (discontinued), offering light, pleasant coverage to even out my complexion that’s prone to patchy redness while not leaving it dull or flat.

If only it had SPF.

Amazing!! I love how it goes from white and then to the color. It blends amazingly. I would say the coverage it sheer to medium with kind of a matte finish (not too matte, but not dewy either). Just perfect looking skin.

I am an Esthetician and recently found this as my Spa carries it and I’m not disappointed at all. It evens out my skin tone as I have hyperpigmentation and telangictasia I like to cover up but don’t like thick heavy foundation.

This does the trick and my skin feels like it has nothing on yet it firm’s and helps skin as you wear it. You have to love a multitasking product.

I read about this brand for a while and liked the idea of makeup with a skin care focus. I have pretty dry and sensitive skin, but this covers nicely. I do like the apply the powder foundation on top for extra coverage because this is pretty sheer in my opinion.

I think those with dry skin should start off with small amounts to avoid cakiness.

As a professional Makeup Artist I was surprised when I found that I had previously tried, until I came across Smashbox’s Camera Ready CC Cream in medium. It goes on extremely smooth and is super lightweight so that you can build on it without gaining two inches of makeup and a gunky, goopy look.

Its blends VERY easily, and if you find you make a mistake it is very easy to clean up without smudging any other makeup. A year ago I had a seizure and fell, busting my forehead open and getting 42 very thick stitches that were put in haphazardly leaving me with a very pronounced and deep scar across my forehead, as well as stitches and a scar under my chin.

The area on my forehead also still retains some discoloration which I had a hardtime covering without using 4 or 5 different products until I found this CC cream. Not only does this CC cream help build up the indention of the scar and blends easily on the outer edges as well as evens out my skintone so that you can’t even tell.

I am entranced by this product. I keep it in my purse at all times, its always with me. Living in Florida with the outrageous heat, which causes most makeup to melt off my face, this CC cream by Smashbox not only stands up to the heat but it also has SPF 30, protecting me from the UV rays!.

Worst of the many BBs, CCs and foundations I sampled this year – and I’ve sampled nearly everything. Firstly, saw too late that it contains Oxybenzone, a sunscreen additive that is testing very badly and quite possibly facing a ban in the near future.

There are plenty of safe alternatives, so. why? Secondly, I sampled it several times before seeing the ingredients, so if the Oxybenzone isn’t enough to stop you, perhaps my experience is. Doesn’t color correct.

I got streaky application with fingertips, a buffing brush, a sponge and a foundation brush with none getting an even finish. The first day was cool, so I was surprised to see it had migrated within about three hours.

My pigmentation and rosacea were as visible as before I put on the CC, but my pores were thousands of little pigmented speckles. On the second day I tried to build another layer to cover the streaks but got pilling and caking.

With every try, my skin felt dry and “drawn” within an hour. It also stung my rosacea areas. No obvious wrinkle benefits, but then I only tried it for a few days. I avoid the sun anyway, so no chance to test its SPF.

Might work for you, but I recommend trying another brand if you want the true CC benefits.

This CC foundation has been my favourite product for a while now, and although I do use others, always seem to come back to this. It goes on really easily, almost like a moisturiser, and gives a light coverage that looks completely natural, and “un-madeup”.

Probably not suitable for anyone who wants to do more than just even up and not really cover anything up, but perfect for older skin, and warmer weather wear. Unlike some similar product, this CC does not simply “disappear” when worn, but lasts all day.

Use a very light dusting of translucent powder to set.

Just a little goes a long way. Great texture, nice perfume not to strong, easy to use with a brush or fingers, but brush is better. Great results even on first try, gives an even canvass for foundation.

I use mineral powder. Have used less of it since using this product. This is also really good enough to skip foundation and just buff on a little finishing product. I purchased another after just one try I was so impressed.

Great for a “no make up” make up too. Highly recommended.

Smooth application, blends into my own skin colour and gives medium coverage. Covers blemishes too.

I got this during the 21 days of beauty sale. I had previously tried the anti-redness product during another previous sale and while I liked it, I don’t reach for it much. I was intrigued by this one because it has SPF (both chemical and physical) and I was hoping it would take the place of foundation for my normal daily wear.

The anti-redness one couldn’t do that and it also left me shiny. This stuff. omg. It is magic. I needed to reduce the amount of time I spent getting ready in the morning before work and this stuff has been monumental.

I put it on at 5:30 in the morning and it stays on ALL. DAY. UNTIL. 8. PM. WHEN. I. WASH. MY. FACE. I don’t even have to use a setting powder. If I don’t use a setting powder, it will start looking shiny around 3pm, but I just tap my skin with my Clinque mattifying powder and all is well.

It is light coverage, but it somehow just makes me look so much better. I still use under eye concealer and a little concealer around my nose where it is quite red, but other than that my skin looks flawless just from this.

The color matching claim is really the only drawback. I have light skin and am very freckled so I can get away with shades that are slightly too dark because it will blend in with my freckles. Because of the shade of this (Clair), I have to apply it to my neck as well or there will be a noticeable difference between my face and neck.

I am just amazed at how much I like this and how I never reach for foundation anymore.

I like to put some makeup on everyday. I find foundations too heavy and was looking for more natural, sheer effect. I have had a few bb/cc creams , spend quite a lot money and time until I have found this one.

I always read reviews but we’re all different so some people are happy some ain’t. With my combination skin I’m more than happy with this product, don’t need no powder , my skin looks amazing, not oily/shiny.

Trust me I like cosmetics and know I what’s good. It’s rather expensive but sooooo worth it ! You ain’t gonna find nothing better. Also getting the bigger tube (45ml) is worth the price , unless you wanna first try it like me.

I got 15 ml first but now I have got the big tube. Oh and the shade is perfect, natural and not too dark which is always the problem, all the creams I have bought before were too dark ! They’re just waste of money.

I like the coverage, not too heavy, but it does cover imperfections. This product is perfect, finally found the perfect cc cream !.

I have very spot prone, pale skin and after years of wearing heavy foundation dislike the feel of heavy make up on my face. This product is incredible for giving a “my skin but better” finish without me even knowing I’m wearing it.

I really like that it is very lightweight. It doesn’t totally cover any spots or hyperpigmentation that I have which I’m totally fine with, it just naturally seems to blur my entire face so I look more fresh and glowy.

It wears really well through the day, I don’t end up with a disproportionately shiny forehead compared to the rest of my naturally more matte face which used to happen to me when I wore foundation. It takes minutes to apply so never feels like hassle in the morning.

I’m usually one of the lightest shades of foundation and this doesn’t look at all orange on me.

I am one who struggles to find like a skint tint or tintet moisturizer that I like because most of them either cling to dry patches or still looks like makeup. This one I bought impulsively after I saw a dermatologist posted on tiktok and boy did it not disappoint! It blends into your skin so well! I thought also this would not work cos it looked so dewy on the review but it’s not! It dries down really well and absorbs into your skin like a moisturizer! It does not make me oily at all.

The longer it sits on your skin the more it looks great! Really impressed with this product. However, I find that the shade range is too limited as I purchased dore and it was orange on my skin. I picked up Claire and it blended well but with a slight pink undertone to it.

I hope this gets more versatility with shades but other than that it just is my holy grail for looking like i don’t have anything on and just looking like I have an even skintone. Love love this!.

I am a big fan of Erborian and have used all their cc and bb creams. This is my absolute favourite. In terms of coverage, it’s slightly sheerer than the bb cream and has a universally flattering tone (I’m clair).

Although I’m also Clair in the bb cream, this one suits me better. It’s white-ish when it comes out of the tube but transforms into a very natural and creamy texture. I have combination skin and love this because it’s moisturising yet not oily.

It gives a healthy glow with a hint of glow and beautifies my skin in a very natural way. No one can tell I’m wearing a product when I have it on. It’s my every day holy grail.

Erborian CC Cream in the shade Dore is my go to every day. Covers enough blemishes to make it worth using, but still allows natural skin to show through. Very easy to apply and touch up during the day if really necessary.

The added SPF is greatly appreciated. My only complaint, and it’s not really a complaint, is that I need a slightly darker colour in the summer months and Caramel is just too dark. A colour between Dore and Caramel would be wonderful and I’m sure I’m not the only p0erson who would appreciate this! I have said that the colour matches very well because for the majority o the year it does, but for about three months II really need something just a bit darker than Dore.
