Good caulk. I have lots of gaps and holes in my stucco, especially on a parapet where the stucco meets some flashing up on the flat roof. The tubes are not sealed, so it may not last as long as other caulks if you have some left over, but it saves me from having to pull out the pin on the caulk-gun and poke each tube.

I always forget that and put the tube in and then have to take it back out and poke it and put it back in. Seems to set up nice and sticks to the stucco and the flashing.

I have tried different brands of silicone over the years and most are pretty much the same, with the biggest variation being price. Caulking is a good thing given the caulk holds up and works. I find 100% silicone is very effective in sealing and being waterproof.

Lasts. Dries clear like it should. Fills the cracks like caulking is supposed to. A bit goopy, but that’s normal The clean up is a bit more than other acrylic caulking, you need mineral spirits. So wear gloves.

2. If you use it attach natural stones to something, be aware that very porous stones like limestone or sandstone may react adversely and dissolve over a few weeks. Silicone is more than caulk. It’s also a great adhesive.

I used this product to adhere mylar-backed bubble insulation to my garage doors. It sets up quickly and holds most materials. Most importantly, it doesn’t get hard, brittle or shrink, so it will last a very very long time.

I used this to seal up where the backsplash was separating from the wall. I hope to keep out water from dripping behind there and bugs from going behind there. I cut the tip to the smallest size because I didn’t want to create a goopy mess.

Dispensing the product was super easy. It might take a little strength to squeeze it out thought especially if you are using the smallest opening. But once you get it going and get the hang of it, it’s easy to use.

I squeezed out a line and was happy that it’s not super noticeable. The pics are before and after applying, but I went a step further and smoothed out the line (not pictured) to make things look a little neater.

That was easy too as long as you do it immediately before the sealant starts to cure.

This product worked exactly as advertised. A little goes a long way. I used it to seal the grout between the new countertop and existing tile backsplash. If you use too much it looks like there’s a bunch of Vaseline so use sparingly.

Just enough to put a sheer layer is enough for waterproofing. A couple of notes: You will see a bunch of reviews saying the container exploded on them. This is most likely because they didn’t break the seal.

You need to poke a hole in the seal in addition to cutting the tip off. Also, the product smells very strongly of vinegar. I don’t mind it. In fact I prefer it to the chemical odor of other sealants.

All in all I was very happy with this product.

I allowed this to cure for over 48 hours and it seemed dry and set. But the first time it got damp it turned to sticky jelly! I noticed there was no use by date on it which concerned me. But after using it it seemed to set well.

It never occurred to me that it wouldn’t hold up to dampness. And it was a brief period of dampness. This is the third Gorilla product I’ve bought from DiscoverMyStore, and all three have been unsatisfactory.

Item was very messy because tubing is not sturdy. The base of the tube kept popping off and the silicon was very hard to get to come from the top of the tube. Had to throw the entire tube away because the base kept sliding off and couldn’t stop the product from seeping from the top.

Really messed up my project. Not the seller’s fault at all. Just not good packaging for the product.

The guys at the major home supply recommended this exact brand. I used it to seal my new bathroom sink. This size was the perfect amount. I selected silicone because of how professional you can make it look using soap water to smooth it out.

Seems to work okay, but super duper stinky. The fumes are so aggressive, they sting your eyes as you’re working. Definitely do what the bottle says and wear goggles (and gloves) while working, and air out the space afterwards.

I used this silicone seal in my bathroom and fill up a gap at the edge of my shower stall. It is easy to apply and instructions are easy to follow. I am happy with the end results. No more leaking afterwards.

It performs well and have slightly shorter curing time than others. I would definitely consider this item again next time I need a silicone sealant for my kitchen or bathroom. I was aware of this product before participating in this program but I have never bought it before.

I used one tube but it was not normal quality or stickiness when applying. The manufacturer told me it was probably expired and not normal quality. I must warn to check carefully before using caulks that may be old stock and defective as mine.

Normally THIS CLEAR CAULK should have a slimy stickiness on your fingers that is hard to wash off. This defective batch was not like that. I hope my hours work up a ladder won’t have to be redone. Normally it should have super adhesion and super flexibility and noticeable shrinkage when dry.

Tried this product many times. Utter garbage. Doesn’t set hard. And when it does, it sets in white, not clear as advertised. Seems to be a known/recurring problem. Home Depot should listen to its customers and resolve this with the manufacturer, who seem to be making excuses that their product had no defects – nonsense! After scraping it all off, i tried MONO Silicone instead, worked perfectly first time; although it is pricey, but at least it did the job perfectly.

I only wish Home Depot would restock the GE Silicone brand which when i previously used it worked well, and cost less than the MONO brand. HD, please do something about this!.

We had a small hole in our shower wall that we were advised we could fix ourselves. We got some Mold Armor because it was marketed as mold free and good for tubs/showers. The product is easy to squeeze from the tube and applies evenly.

We used a putty knife to smooth out the surface and it dries quickly. It does have a strong vinegar like odor, but it dissipated quickly after application. We then used it to patch a bad seal of my in-laws master shower door.

Worked like a charm. No more puddles after showering. Highly recommend!.

I installed white PL Heavy Duty Sealant around a bathtub/shower base two years ago. The area was spotless clean, dry and treated with Mold Control before application. The material was easy to apply and form, had a pleasing appearance and held up well to the moist environment until a spot of mold appeared recently.

The spot proved impossible to clean away (standard bathroom cleaners, Mold Control, Acetone, Methylene etc) and within two weeks it had spread to a section of caulk over a foot long. Upon removal, cross sections at various locations of the discolored section seemed infiltrated by mold.

The product is rated mold resistant. I would expect more from a premium bathroom caulk.

Overall a great sealant. Works stiffer than silicone, just different. I used on exterior siding when it was colder out. The Loctite sealant can be used in cold weather, another benefit. I taped off joints for clean finish as I would with any sealant.

White color is bright white. I was sealing white siding so I didn’t have to paint it. Curious to see how it ages, but for now it’s a great all around sealant with many applications.

I’ve had this sealant for a week now and I’ve already used it on a few around-the-home tasks. It has worked great on all of them. I used it to put a tile back in place in the bathroom, I used it to put a piece of furniture back together, and I used it to reseal the seams of the bathtub.

It has worked great on all of those jobs. It is not messy like some other sealants I’ve used and it comes out of the tube easily. The odor isn’t overpowering either. I am very satisfied with this and will keep using it.

Clear bathroom silicone applied easily, and produced a consistently sized “bead”, from caulking gun. Cleaned up with soap and water without difficulty. Applied silicone can be easily “shaped”, after a few minutes of application, with a finger dipped in a diluted mixture of dish soap and water.

Good product that I’d buy and use again!.

I was super excited to try this out because the caulk in my bathroom was pulling away from the sink, and instead of having to bug anyone to do it for me, I could do it myself! I have never done anything with caulk but I have watched people do it and I am a crafter so I was confident with this I could make it nice and smooth.

Well I didn’t account for my messiness, so the first part was not as smooth but I was able to smooth it out with my finger. Then I slowed down and got a little more confident as I went around the sink, and it went on nice and smooth! That was slick! Then I went around the sink and smoothed it out with my finger.

It took a while to dry, but my bathroom doesn’t have much ventilation so I think it would have been dry sooner if there was a little more air flow. I really felt like a professional Handy-Woman after this little project! I also love that I didn’t have to scrape the old caulk off and I was able to do it right over the old stuff, so much easier and less messy! GE re-new, in Cartridge form (you will need a caulk gun). ** not a company advertised use for the product ** I have an aquarium that I repurposed into a plant Terrarium. After moving homes, discovered the glass had a few leaks around the bottom edges.

Re-New specs state waterproof and can apply directly on top of existing silicone sealant. The cartridge came with a self-tooling nozzle, which made the job so easy to apply. Just had a learning curve applying the proper pressure releasing the product as I moved the caulking gun along the bottom edges.

Left it to dry for three days (longer than the recommended time). It has been a few months since the repair and so far no moisture leaks.

The GE Renew Squeeze Bottle Caulk was the prefect amount to go around the tub and prevent waste of a tube of caulking that would just get tossed. I really liked it could be dispensed right over the top of the current caulking and it adhered and covered really well.

The applicator tip is pretty good, though I still used a wet finger to smooth for a nicer, rounded finish. The scent wasn’t overbearing like some caulking, and it seemed to dry quicker then some other brands.

I think this is a pretty good product and will see how it holds up. If so, it will be a great addition to the toolbox for quick jobs due to ease of use and no waste. I only deducted points as the applicator could have been better adapted for rounded corner, which is common in met caulking applications.

I installed this caulk on my new tub and tile job. It did not dry white, but was a yellow/green tint. It was also translucent, didn’t hide anything behind it. I applied a second tube of this caulk to complete the job and it worked fine.

I’m very disappointed in this expensive product. Now I have to do double work to cover the defects of the first tube.
