There are a few different types of cat litters that are marketed as being good for allergy sufferers. These litters typically have lower levels of dust and are made from materials that are less likely to trigger allergies.
Some examples of cat litters that may be suitable for people with allergies include those made from recycled newspaper, wheat straw, or pine shavings. It’s important to note that even the best cat litters for allergies may not completely eliminate all symptoms, so it’s always a good idea to consult with a doctor before making any changes to your pet’s care routine.

I’ve been trying to find an unscented, low/no dust litter that does not stick to the sides of the 3 plastic litter boxes in my house. I have tried every well known brand and one lesser known, but highly rated brand.
In each case, I would get great results for only 2 of the 3 issues I wanted to address. I had been reading great reviews for this litter, but none mentioned anything about it not sticking to the litter box.
In the past few days I’ve been mixing my first bucket of this litter with my existing brand and the results have been amazing! No dust, no artificial scent and no sticking to the boxes! And this is only as a mix with my existing litter, not even using it completely on it’s own! I’m so glad I decided to try this litter.
Not only does it give me the results I had hoped for, it is also reasonably priced and always in stock at the grocery store where I do my regular shopping.
We started using this several months ago as Tidy Cat went up too far in price, and started getting dustier. Also, other brands that say they are nearly, or totally, dust free are definitely not. This Cat’s Pride Triple Odor Guard actually IS dust free, no clouds or dust-ups that we can see at all.
It lasts a good while, is a little lighter weight, and clumps very well. This is also a better price than many others, and simply works better. This has become our only cat litter we’ll use, so hopefully they won’t price themselves out of sight like others have.
Also, the most recent jugs we bought said reformulated. but same quality. I hesitate when I see that, because, well, marketing. But, actually, notably, they DID actually improve it. Also also note that this particular litter doesn’t make us, or our 4 cats, sneezy.
One of the best litters I have ever used. Great for enclosed litter boxes. Should be used with a tracking mat to catch the small litter particles upon exit and if your cat is aggressive you may want to have a high walled box.
Its so soft that they love making sure everything is covered. Almost No smell at all, even right after making a deposit. (Note – Don’t expect great results if your cat doesn’t know how to cover his stuff well or you don’t regularly clean the litter box) The flushable version is excellent also.
Very easy to use. 4 stars only because the small particles will track if you don’t have a good mat.
This is hypoallergenic odor control technology destroys the toughest litter box odors to deliver long-lasting freshness day after day. Formulated for multiple cats, it’s the ultimate odor fighter even in the busiest litter boxes.
This low dust and tracking formula is the best for you and your home. Dust clouds are eliminated and litter stays in the box – allowing you to keep your house clean and fresh.

Great litter and would love to continue to purchase it, however it has doubled in price!! I cannot afford to spend 17 on 1 container of cat litter. Most other litters have only went up a dollar so I am having to purchase them.
Great litter just not a great price. I will give this litter a 5 star rating because it is very good litter but the price is outrageous.
Very soft and easy to pour. Odor control was pretty good. I own two full grown cats in a small apt and this litter keep the smell down. The issues I had were it is a dark grey colored litter. This made cats see litter as dirty even when just cleaned.
Also the clumping was not consistent. Some times clumped very hard and easier to scoop. Then the next time litter broke down into tiny blackish/ grey gravel that fell thru scoop and was very hard to get out.
Classic Litter is one of the most popular blends from pet owners, containing all natural hypoallergenic ingredients. With larger, denser particles you will find that litter stays in the box better than litter created with smaller particles.
You want a clean that lasts. And so does tidy cats 24/7 performance. With triple odor protection, plus a form so simple you barely have to think about it for nearly a week, it gives “continuous clean” a whole new ring.
Directions: 1. Pour to a depth of 2-3 inches. 2. Remove solids daily. 3. Add more litter to maintain a depth of 2-3 inches. Use a moisture-proof cat box large enough to comfortably accommodate your cat(s). We recommend removing solid waste daily and cleaning the cat box with warm water and a mild detergent between litter changes.

After searching and paying through the nose for litter, who knew this would end up being the best my cats have ever used. We have had cats for over 25 years so this is a plus for us. One of our boys decided he wasn’t going to use what I was buying and went outside the box every day unless I had just emptied the crystal litter.
Ever since I started using this, he has used it instead of my floor. All I do is remove the poo and some urine. Add some more, and it does a great job of stopping bad smells. I do not like clumping litter.
It sticks to the paws of my hairy guy, Max. And I also don’t believe it is healthy for cats. Something else I’ve discovered is, it does not stick to the disposable pan or the regular one. It also keeps urine from soaking through.
This litter has afforded us to have two litter pans now. This is a little dusty, but it isn’t like another brand I bought. That stuff flew through the air dusting everything and our cats. For the price of less than $8 for 30 lbs.
, I am super happy to be saving money after spending over $70 a month, and it never was enough. Living on a low income, this stuff is a blessing. Oh, for you that thinks it’s too heavy to carry out, take some out in a small plastic grocery bag and then carry it out.
Our cats are happy. We are happy. What more could you ask for.
This is honestly a wonderful litter, and most complaints lobbied against this litter are due to lack of reading. It does NOT clump, but then again it says that in the title and on the bag. Why in the world you would get it, an then be upset that it doesn’t clump is beyond me.
Though some cat parents consider it essential, there are some cases where clumping litter just isn’t viable, and for my cat-kids (2 out of 4, anyway) it isn’t. So this litter really fits what I need, and it’s virtually dust free which is always a bonus! I don’t really get any fragrance from it, but then again maybe my nose isn’t that great.
Either way, I prefer it that way. I don’t like strongly artificially scented litter, and I doubt my cats do either. And for those who say it stinks. I have four adult cats who have healthy digestive systems – that is to say they go potty an average number of kitty times.
I clean all five of my litterboxes 1-2 times a day and never encounter a smell as long as I do that, and a full change weekly! So, again for me this is an A+!.

I tried this litter after a friend recommended it; I had been using Precious Cat litter for ten years and was getting very frustrated at how dusty and inefficient at odor control it had become. I have an asthmatic cat, and the little clouds of dust I would get while dumping litter in the box or scooping were bad news for him! I have to say I was really surprised that Free and Clean worked so well, because in my mind grocery store litter is associated with that awful ammonia smell, the old lady with too many cats smell.
It was actually quite the opposite: It is extremely low dust, nothing while pouring it in, nothing while scooping. The only time I start seeing dust is several weeks in, when it’s time to empty the box completely and wash it.
I have two large litter boxes and several cats in a two bedroom apartment and there is now ZERO smell from the boxes, even right after the cats go number 2. You would never guess cats lived here. Until you see the litter all over the floor, that is.
Yes, that’s the trade-off: the litter is super low dust, scoops very easily (no more chiseling off concrete blocks of pee stuck to the box, yay), has superb odor control BUT it tracks EVERYWHERE. And when I say everywhere, I mean all over every piece of furniture, all over the floor two rooms over, all over your bed, etc.
It also sticks very easily to fluffy longhaired cat butts. For me, the lack of smell and the absence of dust more than compensate for the constant sweeping I have to do, but if that drives you nuts that may not be the right product for you.
It’s also pretty pricey, and the packaging is so much plastic, I am not fond of it. But in the end until I find better, I am sold on this one!.
Tidy Cats brand litter has always been my ‘go to’ litter. Sadly, my confidence in the brand has been greatly compromised by the last box of Tidy Cats Instant Action I purchased. I am now in search of a brand that delivers what is stated on the packaging and in the marketing.
My first complaint is that clearly, the formulation for this product changed and consumers were not notified. I’ve been using this formulation and others without significant issues for many, many years.
This latest box, however, stunned me. My second complaint is that this litter literally tracked EVERYWHERE in my house – three floors – and everything in my house has a layer of litter dust and kitty paw prints on it.
I keep litter boxes in the basement, as far away from the living spaces as possible and always have. I was absolutely astounded at how far the litter and dust traveled. Of greatest concern was the dust.
I was cleaning the litter box one day and noticed that my chest began to burn. Only after I finished cleaning the litter box and moved onto other things around the house did I realized that the burning had subsided.
I attributed the burning to the dust and have worn a mask since then when cleaning or filling the boxes I have no idea how this product / change in formulation made it to market. I will be cleaning up dust and litter for weeks to come, even though I’ve replaced the litter with another product.
I tried this litter before I had covered litter boxes and didn’t love it because of its light weight it tracked all over the floor, however since I have switched to covered boxes it doesn’t seem to be an issue.
I will say that the clumping with this litter is much better and does not fall apart when trying to scoop it like the heavy litter. The light weight makes all of the scooping seem easier because there is less resistance and the “crumbs” that fall back in from the clumps that you seem to keep re-scooping with traditional litter are non existent with light weight, making it an overall quicker, more pleasant experience that has led to less procrastination and dread.
I’ve actually been more consistent with keeping up with scooping which is definitely a win. It does cost more but in my opinion worth it and it does lower the price if you buy the large container, something I never did before because the weight made it unmanageable, but not an issue with the light weight.
I definitely recommend that you use it with a covered litter box to reduce the spread from kicking and scratching. It does fling further than regular litter. I have found that covered litter boxes are not as aggravating if you remove the whole top and scoop.
I also think this brand/type has less dust than all the litters I’ve tried and I’ve tried a lot.

There really isn’t anything to complain about regarding this litter. It clumps quickly, and the clumps don’t fall apart when scooping, unless they’re super fresh. (The longer the clump has had to dry the better.
) I do not smell any cat urine or feces at ALL. There is very little dust to complain about. there is some, but not like I’ve experienced with other unacceptable litters. The tracking is tolerable with a top-entry box combined with a honeycomb mat.
The 4 resealable packs are super convenient. The fragrance is “Fresh”, similar to a dryer sheet. The kitties smell like the fragranced litter sometimes. I’ve been using this litter for 2 cats for about 2 weeks and I recommend it.
However, I haven’t tried a great many other brands of clumping litter; I’ve mostly used crystal-type litter. I prefer this, for 2 cats. The only think I miss regarding crystal litter is the dehydrated poo was easier to scoop; I have to be careful when scooping so I don’t get the scoop grossly dirty.
I plan to try other brands just to see what else is out there, but this will be one I’ll keep in mind to return to if the others fail.
I have been using this cat litter for well over a decade. This brand is all our family has ever used and weve never had an issue with it and it worked great up until recently. I think when they changed the packaging from one big bag to 4 smaller ones, they must have changed the formula too because now this is the worst litter i can even imagine.
My cat has been having horrible allergies, sneezing, wheezing, and a whistling nose, and she struggles to breathe after using her box from the dust and maybe the fragrance too? And it does not clump AT ALL anymore!! Whats the point of having a clumping litter that does not even clump? Along with that, i feel like the purpose of all of this fragrance is lost because it isnt clumping and catching the pee smell, so her litter box REEKS now! Allllll of this started when the packaging of this brand changed.
Whatever they did to it, ruined the litter and now i have to shop around for litter for the first time in like 12 years and dont even know where to begin because i have been so faithful to this brand! Im so sad but i have to so what is best for my cat.
I really dislike this litter. I am constantly searching for the next best litter, the Gold Standard, which I have yet to find. I want low dust, low tracking, good clumping without making scooping a chore, and top notch odor control.
I’ve been in so many houses where it smells like a cat box, and I don’t want to be ‘that’ house. This litter is fairly decent for low tracking. I find it to be on the dusty side, both on initial pour and subsequent scooping.
Some are dusty during pour and not bad for scooping, but not this one. It clumps ok. Can get sticky and gooey. The worst part of this litter is the odor control, or should I say lack of? For the first time in maybe ever, when I walk into my home, I smell cat urine.
I currently have just one cat, and I scoop at a minimum every other day. In the past with other litter brands, I have had 2 cats at a time, both using the same litter box, and scooping at the same frequency – and still did not smell urine like I do now.
I cannot wait to be done with this litter and would never consider buying it again. The fact that this is branded for multiple cats and I only have 1 makes it that much more insulting.
These 52lb bags are a beast to haul up a flight of stairs but it’s sooo worth it. For some reason a bunch of people in these reviews didn’t realize this is non clumping litter even though it’s clearly labeled on this enormous bag.
Where on earth they think they’ll find clumping litter in a bag and this much of it for only $10, I have no idea. I have 2 cats and 2 litter boxes that I hate dealing with. About twice a week both boxes get completely dumped out and refilled with this stuff and it’s great.
It takes care of the stink, I don’t have to go digging for cat nuggets, and it’s the best price you’ll find anywhere.
I am a cat mom of 10 years, this is by far the worst litter I have ever encountered. Cat pee doesn’t clump. It turns into regular litter that can’t be scooped out, which makes your litter lifespan far shorter.
It’s heavy, hard on cats paws, and does not by any means have any odor control. This is a terrible litter. Do not buy.
I switched to this from Wal-Mart Special Kitty brand about 3 years ago because I have 5 boxes to change every week. The past few months, it’s become more dusty and less odor absorbent. It’s also becoming harder to find in stock at my local Sam’s.
I usually buy 6-8 bags at a time. Going to try clumping litter in a few boxes and if the cats adjust, will be switching. This litter is still better than Walmart Special Kitty and a good value for non clumping litter users.

I really loved this cat litter at first because of no dust and the fact that it seemed to clump well! However, after using it for awhile, I find that it does not clump as well as I thought, but the outer layers fall off the clumps when removing it from the litter box.
Also, it is extremely heavy to both carry into the house and to remove when it’s time to change the box. It’s also recommend to change the litter completely every week, that’s every seven days! It’s difficult to change the box every week, not to mention expensive! So for me, the heavy weight, clumps that don’t stay together, and the frequency with which one is supposed to change the litter is becoming too exhaustive and expensive to want to use this litter.
There are other litters that do not have dust that must be easier than Cloud Control. It’s a brilliant concept, but certainly not perfect.
I’ve tried so many different litters over the years, and this is by far the best, in my opinion. It is very low tracking, great clumping, and totally dust free. One of the best things is the dander shield technology.
I don’t know how this actually works, but my cat’s dander literally goes away when I use this litter. With other litters, her dander, white flakes, always returns with a vengeance. My cat has never been picky about her litter, but this litter makes me the happiest, especially for the little to no tracking and dander shield technology.
It’s also been the best clumping litter that I’ve used for my cat.
Elsey’s Ultra Clumping Clay Cat Litter is a unique formulation that combines heavy non-tracking granules with a medium-grain particle. The result is an excellent clumping litter that prevents moisture from reaching the bottom of the tray while providing a clump that will not break down.
This cat litter is perfect for multi-cat households and those cat parents with sifting or mechanical litter boxes. With its superior odor control, you can be sure your home will always smell fresh and clean.
CATSAN Clumping Litter consist of very fine clay granules that immediately form small firm clumps when coming into contact with liquid. These compact clumps can be easily removed every day, so that only clean and dry litter remains in the litter tray.
There is no time for odours to develop, The formation and removal of small solid clumps means you don’t need to replace the entire litter tray as often. That’s why CATSAN Clumping Litter lasts much longer than conventional lighteweight litter products.
Remove solids and clumps as part of the daily cat routine. Thus, only fresh, unused litter remains in the box and there is no chance of unpleasant odours developing.
All of my cats are a bit awkward haha and each one usually dislikes certain other ones. It’s great because it doesn’t clump so if any of your cats/dogs eat any, it won’t clump and absorb inside them! It also definitely does absorb, I’m guessing the bad reviews must’ve emptied the tray just after it was used.
It goes straight to the bottom and it takes a minute to absorb. It works really well with litter liners. It’s the only one that actually stops smells, as long as you keep it clean by removing all waste.
I sometimes push the top few inches onto another tray because it’s still like new, then replace the dirty bit, lasts much longer. It’s also antibacterial so I presume that is why it doesn’t smell.
I hv no idea why ppl don’t like this litter, its the best one the market, if used correctly, you should never have to change litter brands again. No smells, no messy bottom of the tray, it does last as long as you care for it, i put shake and back on the bottom b4 use and sprinkle some when cat goes in, if you remove the waste as quick as possible there is no odor at all.
Its one of the more expensive litter but its well worth the money, i hv 4 cats and i can 100% say that the litter as never let me down in the 4yrs of using it, i use the ready made bags with the liner and urine collection layer, its awesome and makes life so much easier if you have a few cats, male female kittens, it careers for them all.
However the clumping litter i don’t like of any products, including catsan, its just not for my cats. So hope this totally honest review may give you some confidence to try the product. It does what it says on the tin and if used and looked after properly you will never go back to your old litter.
Hope this is a bit helpful and confident for you to go ahead and try. We all have different options on goods and this is mine on the catsan non clumping litter, whether its bought as litter only or as the complete litter lining and litter together.
This so one of the more expensive cat litters but for my 4 boys it’s the best choice, trust me I’ve tried others but I always come back to this and it’s our cat litter staple. I have one fully indoor cat, and this is good quality, never smells and doesn’t need to be changed every day, if you remove solid waste.
Its Highly absorbent, locks in smells and isn’t as dusty as other brands. It’s not the cheapest but over time it balances out. I have a digger and he loves to dig to Australia everytime he uses the tray, when it’s fresh he takes a litter bath so it can get flicked about as it’s fairly light weight.
Only problem if you step on a stray piece in the dark it’s like stepping on a Lego and hurts in bare feet.

Thanks to Bzzagent, I received World’s Best Cat Litter Low Tracking & Dust Control, complimentary, in exchange for my honest review. The following opinions are 100% authentic and my own. So, I have one male cat, who just turned 1.
He’s instinctual and seems like the alpha male type. He’s friendly but very expressive with his feelings, emotions, and aggressions so it was fairly simple to understand his opinions about his new litter, which I think we’re indifferent.
He seemed just okay with it. After this experience with our first unscented litter, I think we both agree that we prefer scented litter, and strongly scented at that! We both really like The World’s Best Cat Litter brand and the litter quality is exceptional.
It clumps really really well and very quickly. I noticed a firm hold just 1 to 2 minutes after urination. Oppositely, Even the smaller chunks that did manage to escape, which weren’t many, were not terribly small and tidious, and still large enough where scooping was possible.
Since the litter was unscented, I could smell some odor but very mildly and this was sort of shocking because I would have thought odor would be constant and strong with unscented litter, so WBCL has some insanely awesome odor blockers regardless if scented or not.
Lastly, dust clouds were completely non-existent and post use trackage was at an all time low, thankfully so because my kitty boy typically produces litter crazed surroundings!.
I started fostering cats this year and have 6 kitties in my home. They do what kitties do and it’s a lot to clean up daily, so I am always looking for products that will help keep things more tidy. My preferred litter is the GREEN unscented type of World’s Best and this new orange litter was offered as a gwp of Orijen 12-lb food.
(Thank you!) At first the most noticeable difference is that the orange litter grains are 2-3x as large. I suppose their logic is that larger grains are heavier and less likely to get stuck on paws, but as anyone who’s stepped on a Lego knows, that’s not true, it just hurts more.
The litter in my post-surgery kitty’s crate has spread both in the 1-inch space between boxes and surrounding 1-ft radius outside the crate. For an animal that does not leave the crate, who is remarkably slow and deliberate when moving/digging, this spread is disappointingly unexpected.
Litter scent has a citrusy tinge after cats have peed, seemingly exacerbating pee odor, however more successful at masking poo odor. I agree with others that the clumping should be better. There is also a lot of pee-odor dust left in the box after scooping, a common flaw I’ve encountered in large-grain litters.
Reliably zero dust in the air as I pour new litter from the bag into the box, the reason I love World’s Best. When I click to Add Photo, it doesn’t show that pics are posted, so maybe I’ll try again later.
Overall I will not buy this orange litter, but I’d still use this instead of clay-based litter.
I am *always* on the hunt for a better cat litter, I mean ALWAYS. In the 16 years I have had my wonderful feline companion, I have shuffled between a dozen different brands, and lines within these brands, and can say with full confidence that I have yet to find one that truly made both me and my cat happy.
Now that my cat has entered his elderly years, he’s more likely to use the litter box without covering his waste and so it’s really important to have a brand that he’s not holding a grudge against. This littler, despite making some promising appeals on the packaging, is not that brand.
As I mentioned before, my cat is on the older side and he does not like pushing around things unless they contain catnip. This litter comes in larger chunks and weights considerably more than the lightweight options we generally go with.
The ‘quick clumping’ claim doesn’t work so well when the waste just sits on top of it. It was also harder to clean out since the chunks of unused litter didn’t quite filter through my current litter box shovel, which isn’t a problem for smaller grained solutions.
With no scent, there also wasn’t much odor control so now that I’m back in the office, I come home to a less appealing apartment at the end of the day. The one thing this litter has going for it is that because it’s too heavy for my cat’s liking, it stays put in the little box and therefore produces very little dust.
Otherwise, I can’t say that I cared much for it (which is a shame since there was a $5 off coupon attached to the bag) and will be sticking with a more fragrant, lightweight option in the future.
Cats Cat Litter Clumping Multicat 12. 7 KG World’s Best Cat Litter VARIOUS GATOS unscented Made with a natural vegetable ingredient to control smells even more remarkable, this arena for agglomerating several cats is easy to make and can be pulled for cleaning * simple.
Having more than one cat should not mean you have more to worry about. Your cats deserve the best sand binder cats. Therefore, get more from each bag with a yield 2 times more durable than the leading brand of sand in the US.
I purchased the RED bag of unsented litter for multiple cats during a half off promotion because I’m always willing to try new and safer stuff. It is amazing! Now I’m stuck paying more for litter because I’m never going back to the other cheaper litter (that I used to think I liked.
) I switched to the corn based litter (Litter Maid corn cob then Nature’s Miracle) a couple years ago because it is healthier than the Scoop Away clay litter I used previously. The other corn litters had less dust then clay and was “healthier” dust.
It didn’t clump as tightly as the clay litter so I had to chase little stragglers but it was healthier and affordable so I kept using it. Then came World’s Best Multiple Cat Unscented. There is no dust and clumps super tight.
There are no stragglers to chase. The previously used corn litters would turn a darker color after a few weeks and it would smell from urine that was escaping the clump, thus needing to be dumped and completely refilled.
I just saw this as “normal. ” Now with the World’s Best scooping is a dream. I find myself scooping every time I walk by/see a clump because it is so easy. My girls like to pee in the corners and this litter slides out of the corner nicely and whole.
I have had the same litter in the boxes for almost a month and there is absolutely no smell, no darkening of the litter. I don’t like that this litter is double what I use to pay for the others but in the long run it may even out because there is absolutely no waste.
I honestly don’t think I will ever have to dump litter, just scoop and refill as it gets low. I rescued a litter of four in August and got attached so they are still with me. So I now have 6 cats. I am a super clean, odor sensitive person so having a great litter matters.
This truely is the world’s best litter that cuts my scooping time in half!.
Pros and cons of this litter PROS: – flushable, very convienient – does seem to be lasting longer than other litters – tracks significantly less, seeing a lot less litter throughout my place. It seems like tidy cats would get stuck to the bottom of their paws and would fall off as they walked and track throughout my apartment.
This barely tracks outside of the bathroom where their litter box is which is a huge plus. Honestly it seems like the “tracking” is just when they accidentally kicked some out or get the zoomies and sprint out of the litter box.
CONS – i dont know who’s saying it doesn’t have a scent. it absolutely does as it comes out of the bag and it smells weird, can’t put my finger on what but I don’t like it. Tidy cats unscented had 0 scent and was so neutral.
– It does not completely mask the urine smell. I clean my litter between every day and every other day. If i wait a day in between a bad smell fuses between the cat pee + weird smell of the litter. never had this kind of issue with tidy cats.
– absolutely not “dust free” If you have black cats you’ll see this on their paws. I stuck my hand in this when i first got it and a film of sawdust like material covered my hand. i know this is natural and made from corn, but i don’t know how they chemically processed this and makes me uncomfortable that my cats are licking the dust off their paws when they clean.
Let me start by saying, I have a rather disgusting story, but this product almost made me cry within 5 minutes of my introduction to my cat (Romeo). So for whatever reason, probably about 2 years ago, Romeo totally stopped using his liter box.
He would pee and poop in the tub or he would pee on the floor beside the liter box and poop in the tub. He has peed inside of my HVAC vent that is on the floor in the bathroom and just 2 days ago he peed in the livingroom right in front of the TV.
I was at my wits end. I had considered the unthinkable for my kitty of almost 12 years (having him put down) because he was ruining my home and I had tried everything, water in the tub, changing litter, changing boxes, changing location of the box ….
etc. I cried and cried not knowing what else I could do. Well, I researched yesterday to find other options to correct what he was doing in an effort to not have him put down(I knew I couldn’t rehome him because he wouldn’t use a liter box).
Well let me tell you…. this stuff is nothing short of a miracle!!! I picked up my kitty and carried him into the bathroom, I let him watch me set up his NEW liter box then he watched me pour in the NEW WORLDS BEST liter.
He was clawing to get out of the bathroom, I coaxed him to come near me and the liter box, eventually he came to me and began sniffing the box, then he began sniffing the liter inside, next thing I knew he got in the liter box, sniffed around and took a poop then proceeded to cover it up and hopped out!!!! I started yelling “He pooped in the liter box!!!” I picked him up and loved on him and praised him.
I started crying… my kitty is gonna stay here and I get to love him for many years to come!! FYI my kitty is a large kitty, so I purchased him an extra large liter box ( he is a Norwegian Forest Cat) and no my yelling didn’t scare him as he was born def.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to World’s Best Cat Liter for saving my kitty!!.

I got my first cat ever about 6 months ago, and I initially bought clay litter… The first night was a disaster. My cat is a digger and the clay was EVERYWHERE. The mess and the dust killed me, and not to mention the ammonia smell.
The next day, I went and bought this off of recommendation of the pet store staff. I’ll never go back. Luckily, my cat is not picky at all when it comes to litters, so she used it immediately (they only used clay at the shelter I got her from).
I clean out her poop daily and then do a whole litter change once a week. The litter is not all over the house, and only some of the sawdust is tracked when it gets closer to cleaning time. There is no ammonia smell, and her poop doesn’t smell as strongly either (granted she doesn’t bury her poop for whatever reason so I assume it really wouldn’t smell a lot if buried).
I use this in conjunction with the arm and hammer litter deodorizer. Absolutely love.

This litter lasts longer than other litters, which means that you have to clean the litter tray less often. Cat’s Best Öko Plus is biodegradable and compostable. Key Benefits Absorbs up to seven times its own volume Locks in unpleasant smells Biodegradable Without artificial or chemical additives Contents Cat’s Best ÖKo Plus is available in bags of 10 litre (4.
3 kg), 20 litre (8. 6 kg) and 40 litre (17. 2 kg).
Not used much yet. Have had this before, but the pieces were bigger last time – much smaller bits this time, I hope my cat still likes it ! It’s brilliant that you can put it in the loo, used to put it in my ‘Litter Locker’, but now the bits are smaller, they should flush down ok.
Great value for money, was about 24/25 for a HUGE bag – will last me for well over 6 mths, even getting on for a yr !.
I have used 10-15 different litters and all have been far short of what I expect. Whether that’s poor tracking, terrible sticky clay clumps or horrible smells. The smells of clay litters is horrendous.
We have a covered litter box with flap and carbon filter. We have used fragrance granules and a odour control plug in. With the amount of money I have actually wasted as well as the stress and unpleasant experience, I so wish I had used this particular cat litter from the start.
Initially I think the price put me off, and I think I thought a all natural wood/plant product would be rubbish. This gets top marks from me! Bertie’s wees and poos clump brilliantly leaving no sticky mess behind.
The litter sucks the moisture from the poo, leaving a dry hard poo. The wee turns into golf ball lumps. The rest of the litter remains dry and best of all non smelly! DISCLAIMER WARNIING- You must not be lazy and seive this at least once a day! I actually go through this litter in the morning and evening and then it remains and brilliant texture, effective litter and with no nasty smells.
I’ve used this now for a week and there honestly is no need to change it yet. Infact I haven’t even needed to top it up yet as the only reduction comes from the wee clumps. The poos don’t clump the litter, as said the litter hardens the poo for easy removal.
Best of all, the wee clumps and poo’s are easily and safely flushed down your toilet!! When you factor in the ease, time saved from not changing it every few days and indeed the pleasent smell, it’s worth the money definitely! I couldn’t speak more highly about this cat litter.
The only slight cons to this product is. it tracks slightly. We have a mat that helps. Honestly this is a very small inconvenience as it doesn’t track a lot. Secondly, you can get this product cheaper elsewhere.
Give this a try and I would put money on it, that you’ll stay loyal to this litter.
If you’re one of the many people who suffer from allergies, you may be wondering if there’s a type of cat litter that’s better for you. Unfortunately, there’s no definitive answer, as everyone’s allergies are different.
However, there are a few things you can keep in mind when choosing a cat litter.
First, consider the type of material the litter is made from. Some people find that natural materials like corn or paper are easier on their allergies than synthetic materials like clay. You may also want to look for a litter that’s dust-free, as this can help reduce the amount of allergens in the air.
Finally, keep in mind that it’s not just the type of litter that matters, but also how often it’s changed. The more often you change the litter, the less time there is for dust and other allergens to build up.
So, if you’re looking for a litter that’s less likely to trigger your allergies, be sure to change it frequently.
