Loved the size of the bike. I have a small room in my house that is my “exercise equipment” room, and it is small in size, so it was perfect. It was comfortable to sit on, and fit me perfect. It took over an hour to put together.
All the parts were there, but the directions were a bit confusing. When I finally got on it to use it, it made a horrible grinding noise, and even at the lowest setting, was almost impossible to pedal.
I had to return it. It may have been damaged internally in shipping, because the box was damaged.
I am on a weight-loss journey and miss my 1990’s AirDyne fly-wheel exercise bike. This one comes close to what I was used to back in the day. It’s simple; no extra bells and whistles. Was easy to put together and doesn’t take up alot of space in my home office where it’s parked.
The read-out of kind of small, but it gives times, distance and calories burned as well as how fast you’re going. So, that’s everything you need! Resistance belt is easily adjusted. It’s very sturdy.
The only thing I do not like about it is the middle section that you have to step over to get on the thing. It’s very high for a shorter person to get over.
Love this bike. It was easy to put together, works beautifully, is easy to move around, and is very comfortable. I am 75 years old and put it together all by myself so that shows how easy it is. After I finished the bike, I actually exercised on it for around 10 minutes.
about as much as I can do starting out. I am extremely happy with this purchase and recommend it, especially to older folks but everyone can benefit from it.

I bought this for the upper body arm bike to continue physical therapy at home. The lower foot bike was a bonus. But I notice the tension sticks in both areas. The lower foot bike can loosen the tension enough for better motion, even though it still feels a bit sticky instead of flowing with smooth motion.
The upper arm bike isn’t loosening enough to make the stickiness of the motion negligible. I am hoping over time and use that will help. I am reviewing it first day out of the box and put together. I did notice the foot crank and hand crank attachments were both pre-greased and sticky to touch when we put it together.
If I am having the same issue after a few days I will try some WD-40 to see if that makes a difference.
I am a 68 year old woman who, before Covid-19, was very active. I bought an affordable elliptical that drains me after three minutes. In doing my research for spin bikes, I happened upon the Stamina Recumbent Exercise Bike.
This bike checked all the boxes. Affordable, sturdy, excellent instructions, easy to assemble, quiet, comfortable, and with the Back and Arm rests, it’s a pleasure to ride. I even ordered a Stamina folding mat to complete the set.
I can enjoy watching TV while burning calories. Thank you Sharper Image!.

I am beyond pleased!! I just turned 43, have been working out & been in sports/dance since high school, & this little guy really exceeded my expectations, honestly. I just used it for the first time this morning for a good 47 minute workout, and it did NOT disappoint! The resistance, even at levels 2-3 are a decent challenge, so if you’re worried about whether or not you’re going to get a good cardio/full body workout out of this machine-please don’t.
I absolutely mustered up a great sweat!! I just moved to a small home in West Virginia from Chicago and really needed something to accommodate my living arrangements that I could count on at the same time.
I’m just overjoyed that I happened to stumble upon this company! Assembly was a breeze, and I love that I can wheel this machine easily from room to room! If you’re on the fence about purchasing this-please go for it! Smooth, EXTREMELY QUIET (the husband slept like a baby in just the next room), and gives a good workout.
I was concerned about making this purchase because I have had (two) prior faulty machines (not from Sunny) so I reached out with my concerns and heard back from a rep immediately. I was convinced based on the information provided that Sunny was a reputable company that stands behind its products and would make sure to make good on any faulty/damaged equipment.
Welp, I received the machine on 2/4/22, assembled it on 2/5/22 only to find the front stabilizer defective and unable to be secured to the machine, rendering it unsafe and unusable. I submitted a ticket with supporting pictures on 2/5 and have not heard a word back.
It’s been over a week and the machine is sitting unused, and there’s been zero resolution. What is frustrating is it only took minutes to get a response when inquiring to make the purchase but now that I have the machine and there’s an issue, I have not heard back.
Any company that will promote their products, tell you they stand behind them, then not even acknowledge when there’s an issue is not a company to make a purchase from.
The item arrived in a beat up box and one little plastic cover was broken. From the get go the left foot pedal slid off the railing. After contacting Sunny the made me send videos of the problem which I did, then sent video back with a “ fix” that didn’t work.
Then they sent me a new crank with a video explaining how to replace it. Never could get old crank out due to it probably being in there wonky in the first place, don’t know. When I contacted them again they wanted me to start all over and send another video of not being able to fix the crank, ignoring my request to to send me a partial refund or a new machine.
So I said I was done. I can use the machine as long as I stand on the outside of the left foot pedal. I like the machine itself but never got satisfaction with these issues from Sunny.

Recumbent Bike for Lower-Body Workout Fitness is all about focus. And when your focus is set on tightening thighs, hips and buttocks without putting extra stress on joints, this recumbent bike offers the workout to make it happen.
Our super-quiet recumbent exercise bike features a semi-reclined position that’s designed to tone your lower body while providing an aerobic challenge to increase your heart rate and efficiently kick calories and fat to the curb.
I work from home and wanted an exercise item that could get me moving. This combo row/bike does the trick. I use it when I get tired from sitting too much at the computer. The rowing really helps my tired hands from typing and computer work.
I can use it as a form of exercise while the gyms are closed due to Covid and when it is too hot or cold outside. Rather than grabbing a cup of coffee to keep me alert around 3 PM – I now choose a 15 min row or bike break.
This machine is quiet so I can even get in a quick news brief or YouTube tutorial. I took away one star as it is supposed to be easily folded away and movable. It is neither especially when you are on carpet.
I leave mine in one location because the folding and moving of this item is not easy as described in the promotional video.
Comparing to the gym we attend (used to before Covid-19) it may not match the feel of the multi-$1000 units, but as others said it does give very good workout. I was very much wanting to use the recumbent bike part of it to see how I liked this type of bike.
Most recumbent bikes for home are not really oriented to put your feet out in front of you like a real recumbent bike. So before I purchase a $3000-$4000 recumbent bike for outside, I wanted to make sure I like the feel of it.
Like some others wrote, the main gripe I have on the rowing machine is having my feet slip out of the pedals. The back of the pedal is too low. I will probably alter mine to alleviate this issue. Overall, this is a great product for the money and includes two/three types of workout.
Forgot to mention, the third workout is doing arm pull-up/curls.
This is a well-made product with excellent customer service. The frame was bent on the first unit I received, so they sent me an entirely new product. I get the workout I want at home and I couldn’t be happier.
I’ve been riding and rowing for a total of 45 minutes at a time. It’s a solid workout, and I can read or watch something while riding. I’m 5’10” tall. My husband is 6’7″. The rower/bike works for us both.
I am very happy with the investment and recommend it to anyone.
It provides a non-impact cardio workout in a very compact space. The synchronized arms recruit your upper body providing a total body workout. Eight levels of smooth magnetic resistance give all users challenging workouts.
The LED console offers feedback for time, distance, speed, calories and heart rate. Transport wheels allow anyone to move the unit easily. Elliptical trainers are the hottest cardio products in the market today, and the BFCT1 is an outstanding entry level option for this category.
Features: 3′ x 4′ footprint. Compact and stable. Dimensions: 45″ L x 26″ W x 66″ H.
It’s fun to do. When ever I used to go to the gym this exercise is like you won’t feel tired so fast and also you will always burn more calories with this exercise. I faced problem while walking on treadmill.
I enjoy using this product. I feel like I get a good workout but it’s not hard or painful on my joints. I recommend this for those who do not like to run on a treadmill and do things like that. I like it.
The Titan Fitness Fan Bike is bigger and brawnier made with 114-pounds of heavy-gauge steel to help take your workout to the next level. Plus, it is loaded with all the extras that come standard: fan guard, water bottle holder, phone holder, turf tires and a built-in back handle.
Solid built bike, it’s a little smaller than other brands so if you are a little shorter like me (5’9”) it’s a nice fit. It has all the features of other name brand bikes, plus the wheels make it easy to move around if you need to.
The only two negatives for me is the seat is not comfortable at all, but I haven’t found a fan bike that has a comfortable seat so that is par for the course. Also the clear plastic wheel inside of the fan cage that allows the magnetic counter to count your rpm, calories etc is held on by three metal clips.
Those all came off with in the first couple of work outs and I had to disassemble the cage and reattach those. That’s not a big deal for me but might be for others. Over all this is a great piece of workout equipment.
Solid construction, and it saves you a few hundred bucks. I would recommend this to anyone who is building a gym.
The shipping was prompt and the packaging was fantastic. The assembly and instructions were flawless. I had watched comparison reviews on YouTube of this product with similar (popular) brands, and the “negatives” that were given in the reviews were purely opinion, and laughable.
Ex: A review said the bike would “shake” if used with explosive force. In the case of MY bike, that was try false. This is a sturdy, well-oiled machine and I absolutely love it. I bought a heart rate monitor (polar chest monitor) and it automatically connects and gives accurate data.
I pinch pennies, and this was one splurge that was worth it.
The frame of the bike is stout. I would have liked to see adjustments on the throw and height of the handles. The placement of the cup holder makes it useless for anything other than a small water bottle.
The bike should have also just included the heart monitor. Overall the assembly was straight forward and easy. I’m 6’4” and fit fine on the bike however my daughter who is 5’3” hasn’t been able to find a adjustment that works.
Lastly an adjustment for resistance would be nice to see also.

I purchased the NuStep T4R based on the reviews, as well as the design. It took a little longer to deliver due to Covid (8 weeks) but WORTH THE WAIT! John in sales was very knowledgeable and helpful in making my decision.
Scott was SO kind when he delivered the bike. As to why I needed this bike: I broke my tib/fib just above the ankle joint and also broke the fibula just below the knee joint. I was VERY athletic, playing volleyball and worked out, walking 3-4 miles 5x a week, did free weights and Pilates.
ALL of this changes in August of 2020. This bike allows me to work out again and does not cause pain to the injured leg. It’s helped me mentally, as well. Not being able to simply take a long walk plays havoc on the mind.
I am a firm believer in “you get what you pay for” and yes this may be a little pricey, BUT, it’s worth EVERY penny because of the benefits you receive. The flat pedals aid in my recovery and fitness as my dorsiflexion is limited.
Stop thinking and just purchase. You won’t regret it.
ed my t4 unit on Tuesday Jan. 11. The display did not work. It was an extremely cold day (0 degree) so I let it warm up overnight. no luck. Thinking it needed batteries. I removed the cover the batteries were There.
I replaced them with fresh ones. Still nothing on the display. Tried your website explained the problem and received no reply there or in my email. Next day tried the phone was told to check the batteries I said I did.
was told a repairman would contact me for an appointment. Iam still waiting have heard nothing. Being too old (82) and the unit being so expensive. I am seriously considering returning the unit and getting my money back.
Incredibly compact portable and reliable for a healthy sweat. Helps tone hips buttocks thighs and legs. Low-impact routine is easier on leg joints than running. Electronic monitor display strides calories and other stats.
Non-slip pedals hold feet in place. Adjustable resistance for more or less difficult workouts. Great for gamers for a non-distracting way to workout while you play. Use while sitting or standing. Durable steel construction.
250lb Weight capacity. Some assembly required. Dimensions: 24. 5″ x 17″ x 11. 38″.
The distance counter is wildly inaccurate. I just did 45 minutes, and it told me I went more than 14 miles. I highly doubt I was on track to break a world record in my living room while barely breaking a sweat.
Otherwise, this does what it’s supposed to. It’s great for getting in a moderate workout while watching tv, and it’s nice to not have to go outside for a walk on a frigidly cold winter day. The timer and step counters seem reasonably accurate.
The wheels do squeak, but that doesn’t bother me. The instructions are right to recommend placing it on an exercise mat when you use it. It slides if you don’t.
I loved this product for several years. It kept me in shape. When my old one finally broke down, I of course decided to buy another. But after only 2 months of use the pedals became so stiff I can’t move them.
And it makes a horrible squeaking noise if I can get them to move. Unfortunately the return window is closed. I wish customer service would contact me so I could resolve this issue.

I love, love this recumbent cross trainer so much. After I started Physical therapy from a broken elbow I realized I needed something better for me to use at home. We already have treadmill and elliptical trainer but because I have a really bad back, both of these hurt me so much.
Now that we have purchased the recumbent trainer, no more extreme back aches from exercising. I am just so happy we were able to purchase this. I had used a similar one at my PT so we decided we couldn’t afford not to have one.
We got great service from HealthCare International and they were having a sweet sale at the time so that was great too. They are so good to do business with.
Although the Cardio Recumbent Cross-Trainer was difficult to get into the house, it was easy to assemble. The equipment is of high qualilty and makes getting the kind of exercise the a 79 year old needs very pleasant.
It works a lot better for my purposes than a standard eliptical. My wife’s need for a way to re-habilitate after knee surgery was the initial incentive to look for and purchase a recumbent eliptcal exercise machine.
The HCI equipment has given her the means to rehabilitate her knee and continue to exercise her knees and legs. It is an excellent piece of the exercise equipment.
Have only had it a week but we love it, extremely well built, display is even bigger than we thought, smooth operation of seat, leg adjustment for peddles and of the hand angle/length adjustments. Installation took about 40 minutes after reading the directions, only issue was the wire running up the display neck, we had to take our time getting through the narrow opening about halfway up, but that was very minor.
Still trying to figure out the best program and at what resistance to use. otherwise we are VERY VERY pleased with this equipment.
It gives you a great cardio workout in the convenience of your home. It features an adjustable heavy-weighted flywheel resistance and belt drive train, so your bike pedals smoothly at any resistance level.
The bike is designed in a semi-reclined position so you effectively work all the major leg muscles and increase aerobic stamina with little impact on your joints. Dimensions: 50 L x 24 W x 33. 5 H inches.
So, I did a lot of research, just wanted a basic recumbent for yucky days outside, this was in my price range. 1) It arrived with a chunk of plastic broken off the inside (where a screw hold is) so the light gray/silver housing unit is wobbly because it isn’t held to the metal frame.
I was given a $20 refund by Target/Stamina. not sure which. Great, as the machine still pedals, and I didn’t want to re-box after putting together (took a little over an hour, was easy, I thought), nor haul the thing to the store.
BUT NOW, the electronic reader is junk. Just stopped working. The blue button you see does nothing to reset it, and so you never know how far or speed. I attached a kitchen timer (magnetic) to the metal frame so I know time.
Pros: The biking still works-so you get exercise; can move it wherever, pretty compact, pedals don’t hurt if you ride shoeless. Cons: the tension clicks loud when you change it /- (so may wake up others) and the seat cushion, I had to add a grip kitchen chair seat cushion bc you could feel the bumps where it is bolted down.
Wobbles a little, so I just put a blanket under the front and back legs/bars and it doesn’t wobble. Hope this helps someone. If you are expecting perfection, or gym quality–this is not your bike. Thanks.
I had this same exercise bike years ago. The only difference is the monitor. This monitor was very difficult to assemble on the column. It took me over an hour to finish just with the monitor. The rest of the assembly was easy.
It took 2 1/2 hours total to assemble. I prefer recumbent exercise bikes. They’re just more comfortable than an upright bike. It’s smooth pedaling. It’s quiet. The tension wheel seems to work well. The only thing I wish it had is pedal straps to keep your feet on the pedals.
In my younger years I liked to do HIIT on this exercise bike and want to start again, eventually, but am going to need new pedals with straps. If you’re wanting a basic exercise bike that doesn’t cost a fortune and has a basic monitor (time, speed, distance and calories burned), get this.
I bought this recumbent bike for my wife for Christmas. It arrived ahead of schedule, even during the 2021 Christmas shipping insanity, and I was able to begin assembly after Jan. 1. The first thing that impressed us is that this product is sturdy! The directions are solid; however, I chose to seek a video for assembly, so found a great one on YouTube.
No problems until I got to the knob. It just wouldn’t fit. I called Stamina CustomerCare and the specialist was a great help. I sent a couple of images to her via email, and quick as a wink, she diagnosed the issue and sent a replacement knob.
It fit perfectly. At Stamina, they are CustomerCARE Specialists — and they are true to that name. I have the highest regard for this company, its products, and staff. They are a joy to work with and they support their customers! My wife is very happy with her new bike.
Says it’s smooth and quiet! Also, it adjusts to leg length very easily. Tension is super. It’s stable. A great product and a great buy.
Providing a smooth and natural motion that delivers a low impact, inclusive, total-body cardiovascular and strengthening workout for virtually all users. The all new T5XR is perfect for anyone looking for the best recumbent cross trainer.
Get a low impact workout with high impact results with absolute ease. NuStep T5XRW Recumbent Cross Trainer Features: NEW StrideLock mechanism to lock arm handles and leg pedals when needed. Engaging total-body workout.
Smooth and natural movement that’s easy on the joints. Display screen that’s easy to read and use. Sturdy grab ring and comfortable 360° swivel seat with arm supports.
My NuStep T5RXW arrived on March 8th 2021. I was so excited I waited with baited breath for its arrival. It took slightly longer to get here due to the snow and shipping delays, but I was like a kid at Christmas when it was dropped off on my doorstep.
Being the head of a large family, I insisted that all my children and wife give it a try, and several loved it as much as I do. I first discovered the NuStep during Cardiac rehab and found that it was a machine that did the job without putting undue stress on my knees; smooth operator.
After graduating rehab, I struggled to find the motivation to workout. When my doctors started talking about insulin, I knew that I needed to add some exercise back into my routine. The NuStep was my go-to and I did not hesitate to purchase one for in home use.
It was a machine that I knew I enjoyed and would actually use on a regular basis. I love that it records the data and I can import it to a nice excel sheet. The swivel seat is the best thing ever! It makes it easier to get on and off the machine, and being a big guy, I really appreciate that.
I also love that it does not take any electricity and the electronics are powered by myself. My wife and kids enjoy seeing the progress I am making and I can’t wait to see the transformations the family goes through.
John said it was the factories fault and they would make it right and get me the right machine. Didn’t hear back when he said so I called and talked to Andrew, he said he would send me some XR parts to try to make it right.
I’m not able to work on the machine and needed something to get moving for my back and arthritis so I settled for $1000 compensation to keep it since I live in Alaska and didn’t want to go through the hassle and expense of waiting and returning this one.
Andrew said he would also try to get me the adjustable handles if he could but I never heard back on that. They were nice on the phone and said they wanted me to be happy but I’m afraid that’s just not possible.
I ordered the T5XR because that’s what I used at physical therapy and frankly they don’t even seem to be close to the same. I saved a thousand dollars but didn’t get what I wanted or ordered. I couldn’t be more disappointed.
Currently have a NuStep 5xr. quite a few years old but used about 5 hours per week. Suffered one major breakdown that was well repaired at no cost by NuStep. Warning signs of a similar problem have arisen of late and I have purchased another 5xr which is currently being shipped to me.
Again NuStep will come through with a partial refund for the used equipment that I will return to them! I love my Nustep and the company is very good about their guarantees!.
Tunturi’s Cardio Fit line is a series of economical machines that feature simple controls. The E35 features 16 different levels of resistance across 12 workout programs, and LCD display, and the ability to measure heart rate through contact pads.
Very important before you buy: I bought this recently; it’s great for using at the computer or while watching TV BUT- it is very very light! In order to use this, you *MUST* have some kind of no-slip mat at the very absolute minimum.
It cannot be used without one. Even with a no slip mat, the action of your pedaling will repeatedly lift it off the floor, causing it to constantly slide, bang and rock against the surface. To counteract this, I took some wires, and tied the corners down to a rug.
I stuck the edges of the rug under furniture and only then was I able to comfortably use this. This is good for cardio and will make your thighs burn! You will sweat and get tired. But, even though resistance is advertised, there is almost none.
Pedaling a tiny child bike is more difficult than pedaling Tunturi m30 on the highest setting. Because of this, you will have to pedal very very fast. Buy this for the quietness, convenience and accessibility! Buy it for injury rehabilitation, if you are very old, very weak or have limited movement.
DON’T buy this for a workout! It is a little better than just walking the neighborhood for exercise, but not much, and be ready for some DIY to get it to stay in one place on the floor. Pros: Compact Not expensive at all Great for ”trial” to see if you want/would use a pedal machine before spending a lot of money on a good one.
Extremely quiet! Only a very light creak from the plastic case Super convenient; burn calories while at the tv, office or computer Tracks how many calories you’ve burned/the ”distance” you’ve pedaled for you Cons: It’s made of plastic, and will likely break if dropped Almost completely lacking resistance; More force is needed to pop bubble wrap than to pedal this device.
No exaggeration at all. Absolutely cannot be used without fixing it to the floor yourself, and there’s no easy way to do it, no holes for screws, no weights, etc. Overall, after you have read this, I absolutely recommend buying! Burning no calories is better than burning none, and it’s easy on your wallet.
Since the pandemic has come, I have not been able to go to the gym and work. I am 50 yrs old, 5’8” 175 lbs. assembly comes with pictures only. Pay attention to the 3 wires that come from digital screen.
If it doesn’t work, it’s because you got it backwards. Came faster than expected. I have used many bikes in the gym and usually get a great workout and I can say the same with this bike. Very easy to adjust settings.
In the gym I usually start on 7. On this bike I had to start on a 3. It’s a great workout and can be adjusted for beginners or expert. I love everything about this bike with one exception. The pedal strap seems flimsy and looks like they would have to be replaced with more wear but otherwise an awesome piece of equipment for a great price.
Not bad if you just want basic cardio exercise. Easy to assemble. It gives me all the information I need for a good workout; heart/pulse, calories, distance. Tension is adjustable. The seat is my only disappointment.
It is a little uncomfortable, (hard) but I made a cushion top for it. It’s easy to move around. Great deal for the price.

Purchased to build up leg muscles in advance of knee replacement. It was missing some screws and washers. After two trips to the hardware store, it was put together. However, the seat would not adjust and was stuck in the furthest position.
I contacted the company and was sent a replacement part and was told a technician would come install it. I keep contacting the company, and they keep saying that they will keep reaching out to the tech.
My surgery is next week and I have a huge expensive worthless piece of equipment that is collecting dust.
It would’ve gotten 5 stars but upon assembly the seat would not adjust. It was like it was still bolted somewhere. Customer Service (in Arkansas) said they would send out another seat assembly & Service Tech will contact me for appointment to repair.
I was just hoping to get advice of where to look to fix myself. It took about 3. 5 hours to assemble. I can still use it by putting a pillow behind my back. I love it so far, it’s a very good workout.
The machine is fine but the instructions to assemble are the worse I have ever experienced and you have to print the owner’s manual/instructions from their website. YouTube has 4 so so assembly videos that only cover the first half of assembly.
Frustrating. The machine is ok. Appears to be sturdy. The software is clumsy and not self apparent.
Get Fit With the Airgometer Exercise BikeGet on the fast track for a healthy lifestyle with the Stamina Airgometer Exercise Bike. Take a spin whenever you want even if it’s storming on this exercise bike that comes with a water bottle holder with water bottle.
Your riding comfort is assured with the foam hand grips and slip resistant pedals. Know how you are performing constantly with four second display tracking calories burned distance speed and time on this exercise bike.
You have the control to tone arms chest shoulders and back with this fun bike.
This bike combines the aerobic workout of biking and spin with resistance toning workout. I love that I can do arm toning and resistance band work while spinning on the bike. The bike is well made, sturdy and really can adjust to give you the level of resistance and work that you like.
It’s not your average exercise bike and I really love that I can be working my arms while getting that low-impart cardio biking workout. Product Details: • Bike comes unassembled- but comes with all needed tools and product manual.
Assembly is not too difficult or time consuming • Pedals have no strap for over top of the foot- but they have a good grip and my foot does not slip while biking • Handles at the seat- no front handlebars on this bike- this for me is the one thing that it is lacking.
I wish that I also had the option to stand while biking with that front grip. However, that isn’t really the focus of this piece of equipment • Resistance band arms adjust to many levels and you always have an even level- it allows you to do so many arm movements for targeting specific muscles.
• Folds up small for easy storage- wheels on the back for rolling to different locations • Display screen shows speed, distance, time and calories- with a scan setting • Seat section of the bike and backrest are wide and comfortable- no sore seat when I’m done with a long workout.
• Arms with resistance can stand straight up, straight out to the side, straight down and anywhere in between. Adjusts easily, pulling the pin out and locking into place at desired level. Very easy. • Handles are foam, comfortable and durable • Bike pedal resistance can easily be adjusted with a dial.
We love the Stamina Wonder Exercise bike as a family! I just can’t believe how much use everyone is getting out of it from the kids to hubby and I! Our 14 year old put it together in less than an hour without any trouble at all! It’s super light weight and compact design with the wheels on the back end allow me to move it from room to room without any resistance.
I even enjoy taking it outside to get some fresh air and peace while working out! Hubby and the kids love the multi-funtion battery operated monitor which is promoting a little friendly competition. And with where it’s located right above the resistance dial, the bike is easily adjustable for everyone in the house! The Wonder Arms are my favorite feature though and what really sets it apart from other exercise bikes we’ve owned.
I love how easily I can change the angle of the arms changing the upper body work out all together. My favorite is straight out like a “T” shape and throwing punches. Right now, that’s how I find them the easiest to use but I’m also 38 weeks pregnant and not supposed to be doing a whole lot of working out.
My oldest son likes using the arms as a bench press style work out and hubby changes it up every time he uses it it seems.
The first bike they sent me was defective. I was impressed at the fact that they were quick to respond and replaced the bike. Unfortunately I used the bike anywhere from 5 to 10 times, spending 30 min.
on it each time; I then had health issues which prevented me from using the bike. I just recently started using the bike as my health has improved. I was super excited to get back into my workout routine.
I used the bike 3 times each time 30 to 45 min. Then one day as I proceeded to pull the bike out of its spot I noticed the right crank was broken. I spent quite a bit of money on something that I was only able to use for a small amount of time.
I recently started a chat with the company and all they could say is that its broken because of wear and tare. Thats unacceptable, especially when you spend the amount of money you do for this bike. This is the most expensive piece of junk I ever purchased!.

Bought it about a week ago. Arrived on schedule. A+. Assembly – About two hours without a second person. No major problem. A-. Sturdyness – A. Look – A+ Now some cons – Three major issues: 1. Computer sucks and I mean really sucks.
You have to reset it manually every time you get on it. But that’s not all, even when you reset it. It retains some memories from the last time you worked on it. Reset is not what it’s supposed to be.
2. When you reset, it briefly flashes all the icons like speed, time, etc. along with a heart icon. This heart icon never shows up at any other time but only when you are doing a complete reset. The heart symbol appears for a second and then disappears.
What does it do? How does it work? On the back of the computer, there are two holes that read ‘Pulse’ and ‘Sensor’. Why is it there? What does it do? How does it work? Which brings me to point 3. Manual barely talks about the computer.
It just identifies different settings but doesn’t give any detail about it. To make matter worse, this is the only manual available. I have searched the internet but haven’t found any answer to the above questions.
Finally, point #4 – Adjusting the length of the seat is nearly impossible. You cannot make the adjustment without two people. It’s a complete pain in the you know what. Sorry, I wish I could return it but don’t know how to.
I have already thrown the original box and don’t know if I can take it back to the store in its assembled form.
Decent recumbent exercise bike. Lowest price for a recumbent exercise bike I could find. Well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. It took me several hours to unpack and assemble. I gave it four stars as I have to agree with other reviewers: the assembly instructions are vague, hooking up the resistance cable is nearly impossible, the pedal straps are worthless, adjusting it for different height users is awkward and the display function is confusing.
For the price it is still about the best recumbent exercise bike out there. How it holds up to long term use remains to be seen. If you can accept it’s shortcomings, I highly recommend it.

We purchased this elliptical directly from The manufacture a couple of years ago. We made this purchase after buying a cheapo $200 elliptical from Amazon that totally disintegrated after a couple of months.
from the beginning of the pandemic until now my wife and I have used this one to two hours a day almost every single day for a couple of years and that is not to mention other people who’ve gotten on it.
We have never had one single problem or mechanical issue. It is quiet and importantly for us since we have it in the living room it is narrow enough that I can lift it up and roll it into a side room when we have company.
I give it a solid five stars for durability, practicality and enjoyment. I can assure you that my wife and I are in better shape as a result of this machine than we have been in years and I am always involved in something athletic.
Now I will make a few suggestions. First of all the fan is almost useless unless you are 7 feet tall. It does not adjust downward and I believe that is a design error. 🙂 after about three or four months we started hearing a loud knocking noise which really bothered us after the horrendous experience we had with our last elliptical.
I called the manufacture, read the instructions and they assured me that I just needed to lubricate the rails even though the sound was exactly as if it were coming from the weighted wheel. I would have laid money that lubrication would not have solved the problem.
It did. Periodically clean and lubricate the rails and the wheels that go on the rails. When you do that it works like a charm. I started using graphite lubricant and have had a much longer period of time between needing to do anything even though it is a tiny bit messy.
Once it is on you don’t have to do anything for a long time. other than that and keeping it balanced if I move it to a different place on the floor which is easy enough by adjusting each end of it with the rubber screw adjustments-there have been virtually no problems which is hard to believe with the use we have put it under.
If it breaks down tomorrow, Which I don’t anticipate, I consider it still to be one of the best buys I have made in a long time.
Haven’t had it for long but has worked great so far. Quiet and easy to use. Some cons: Fan is loud and will only hit you if you’re tall, I’m 5’2 and it doesn’t reach me. I don’t use fans on machines so not a big deal to me but if you need one this is something to consider -resistance is good but wish it got a little stronger.
I like my higher resistance to feel like I’m going through quicksand. For me it’s a bit weak on the higher settings -wish you could mute the buttons. Makes a pretty loud beeping sound when adjusting resistance and incline, not really a huge deal but I can hear it through my headphones -adjustment buttons on the handles are right at the top.
I’m shorter so this isn’t an issue for me since I hold the handles at the middle, but for someone taller who usually holds the handles at the top, the buttons will be in your way Other than some nitpicking items, this is a great elliptical for the price.
WATCH THE ASSEMBLY VIDEO ON YOUTUBE TO PUT IT TOGETHER!!! The written directions are a nightmare with very confusing graphics. Sole has a video on their YouTube channel showing how to assemble this. With the video it’s very simple and easy, my husband and I put it together in an hour.
It took me hours of frustrating time to put this together. The plastic sleeves were almost impossible to fit and screw together. One person alone – it was possible, but as I said, terribly frustrating.
The console wires would NOT fit down out of the way to screw the console in tightly – in fact the top two screws are still not in. I’m just using it as is and not putting any pressure on it when I put my Fire tablet in the tablet holder.
That’s another thing, the tablet just barely fits, in fact it slides in about half-way and sticks out half-way. Definitely can watch it but. The speakers don’t work. The fact that I don’t need them as I have earbuds that bluetooth with my tablet, is the only thing keeping me from really being unhappy about the speakers on the unit not working.
The actual working of the elliptical itself has so far been good and I can get a good workout, which is really, for me what it’s all about. So upshot: the rating for the put-together and workability of the machine: 1 The rating for the workout it gives me 5.
Average overall rating 2. 5 – 3. I’d recommend the product with the caveats I’ve noted above. If you are prepared for a huge time-suck and frustration to put it together, if you don’t care if the speakers work – go for it.
Put down that taquito and get off your rear end. Now climb onto the Schwinn Fitness 170 Stationary Upright Exercise Bike, get back on your end, and start pedaling. Changing your exercise routine and your life could be as easy as that.
This is the ultimate low impact at home cardio machine, in part thanks to its sturdy for stability, comfortable and contoured seat with forearm rests, and easy position adjustments. The eddy current resistance performs with a high inertia perimeter weighted flywheel for a workout that’s as effective as it is smooth.
You can also keep track of your time, distance, and calorie progress, as well as goals, heart rate, and more with the DualTrack LCD display and heart rate monitor. The Schwinn Fitness 170 Stationary Upright Exercise Bike features 25 levels of resistance, 29 preset programs, a USB charge port, and MP3 input with speakers.
The only question left is, are you ready to ride Color Black.
The most remarkable thing about this bike is that it is whisper quiet. You will not even have to raise the volume on the TV if someone is watching while you use the bike. It’s also very easy to set up and get started on.
It has numerous features I have not yet explored. You do not have to pay any ridiculous monthly subscriptions yet you can still connect by bluetooth to programs like Explore The World App (only some rides are free though).
The seat is a bit uncomfortable – I can’t stay on it too long yet but that is probably due to my size at 250lbs. There is so much you can do with this bike as a complete novice/beginner – but I can see it will also challenge me if I should become more fit and experienced.
It does not take up much room. I love it. My only complaint is I can’t figure out how to save my progress on an app apart from the Explore app – to see my stats each time I use it and watch progress.
I tried the Schwinn app but it didnt seem to work. I’m entering this review in part to enter the sweepstakes! “#sweepstakes but it is an honest review!.
Since my gym keeps closing due to covid I thought it was time to do my workouts at home. I saw the Schwinn 130 bike on sale and purchased it. From what I researched this bike has many option at a very good price.
I also thought that this model had a backlit display and a USB port but it didn’t and why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Not a big deal but would’ve been nice to have. With regards to assembly it was very easy to put together, I found a video on YouTube from Schwinn and took around an hour.
When riding this bike it’s very smooth and comfortable with lots of resistance levels and programs. I’m 6ft tall and and this bike has enough height in the seat post, probably enough for someone who is 6ft 4.
I also like that this bike doesn’t take up a lot of room, very compact without giving up comfort. I would definitely recommend this exercise bike.
I read a lot of reviews and did a good amount of research before buying this, and it turns out to be just what I thought it would be. It’s a nice product and a good value for the price. I have been using it for about a month and am happy with it.
It is super quiet and feels very solid. Assembly was not too difficult, although I think they could have done a better job with the design of the wire race that runs up through the front mast. You have to plug in some fussy little connectors while simultaneously positioning the steel components for bolting together.
It’s an awkward procedure and I can see how it would be easy to pinch or damage the wires. The seat needed to be readjusted a few times to find the right position. The electronic display is not very intuitive.
Designed for weight loss, general health improvement, cardiac rehabilitation, corporate wellness, and transitioning from physical therapy to home exercise, the PhysioStep LXT-700 Recumbent Linear Cross Trainer is a step in the right direction toward healthy and happy living.
Keeping you in a stable and stress free recumbent position, you’ll be comfortable while reaching your workout goals. This linear stepper’s smooth and natural low-impact motion provides you with a total body workout at a comfortable pace that is easy on your joints.
Its large, oversized swivel seat adjusts easily and rotates fully making this unit accessible for people with low mobility. Additional features include a low profile walk-through design with ergo grip handles to help workout your arm and core muscles.
The arms, seat, and back are also fully-adjustable to accommodate a wide range of users.
So asked for help from their people. The seat “ker chunks” with every step. Their helpline has been anything but helpful. Took pictures, named the part where there is too much play. They said they would look at the “stock” and see if there was movement.
I have heard nothing since April 12 email. I guess they got my money so I don’t matter anymore. Nothing but crickets. It is not the rotating seat/locking mechanism that is causing the issue. It is what they call the “change pipe”(#39), along with the “moving plastic post” (#71) Which is attached to the change pipe).
The sliding seat plate (they call #41 seat moving set” has too much play. Every press of your left or right foot transfers rotational motion to this seat moving plate (#41) which rattles because of too much clearance between it and the change pipe/ moving plastic post combo.
Like I told them if it was a $200 dollar machine from Walmart, I might expect the “slop”. But for a machine that cost over $3000, I think it should be better. I would at least expect that they would care enough to get back with me.
This WAS a great machine expected to bring many years of service. Shortly after the warranty expired, however, the machine developed a clunking noise which became increasingly louder. We contacted HCI with pictures of shavings of metal and wear marks on the main wheel.
HCI shipped us the replacement parts at no charge and collected from us the cost of a serviceman. The serviceman drew a blank with this model. He replaced one of the parts and left the new wheel on the floor saying it was not needed.
He exited hurriedly; machine not fixed. We reported this to HCI, but, unfortunately, all apologies, that serviceman was all they had in south Florida. A lot of money paid for 3 years of use. The unit remains in that final stage: it now has a body-dragging sound in addition to the clunking sound.
Plus it is very difficult to proceed at certain stages. The steel shavings pile gets. higher. And, of course the sound is awful. It would be great if we could do a trade-in because the equipment seems to be very sturdy.
Love my LXT! I am an active 71 year old and had both knees replaced 10 years ago. I wanted a way to put less stress on my knees, ankles and hips than the 2-3 miles of daily walking I do. The LXT is perfect! It is very comfortable and smooth.
I enjoy using it especially because it is so much safer than being out in the Ohio weather right now! I appreciate the multiple adjustments for an individual “fit”. The HCI people have been very pleasant and helpful and the white glove assembly worked out perfectly.
I feel this is the machine that will allow me to grow old gracefully and maintain a sensible level of activity and weight control. To your health! God Bless us all!.
It also is impossible to cheat. It’s unique closed loop control keeps the speed level even when you are tired and leaning on the handle. It is a revolutionary stair climber not only in speed control but it maintains the size of Stairway making it available to fit where other stair climbers won’t.

I’m submitting this review after waiting 6 weeks for shipment from HCI, and another week to actually get the HXT to Ohio. At first I was concerned that HCI charged my card as soon as I placed the order, while any other online ordering I’ve done only charged when they shipped.
My next nitpick, Dayton Freight would not deliver to my rural address except in a tractor trailer and were even then passing it off to another company. Now let me explain, it’s winter in Ohio, and I’ve been fighting Mother Nature with each storm to keep my driveway open.
Nothing larger than a 12 foot box van just is not going to ‘get er done’. So, I drove 30+ miles to the Dayton Freight terminal in Mansfield Ohio, and unloaded with the help of a friend, and in less than an hour had the HXT down a flight of stairs and assembled for a test ride.
Now for the ‘GOOD NEWS’. I had implants in both hips last year (2021), and using my treadmill has not been productive. Two 20 minutes sessions on this recumbent have proven to me and my wife, this is going to get BOTH of us in shape for the coming Spring activities!!! We really like it! A LOT!! Thanks, HCI.
We’ve only had the cross trainer a week. It arrived about a week later than the estimated date of arrival but it was ordered right before Christmas so I wasn’t surprised it was a little late. I did have to call to track it and schedule delivery.
My husband had used a larger commercial recumbent elliptical cross trainer during PT for back and sciatic nerve issues. He was happy we were able to find a similar one and while it was costly it wasn’t extremely costly especially since we were able to purchase it while on sale.
So far we are happy with it except I thought I had ordered one that had a swivel seat. That was a real game changer for me deciding to order your product due to balance issues getting on the unit. I was very disappointed to find out that was not what we received.
My husband already had it partly assembled when I realized the seat was not a swivel. Also one of the bolts was missing the washers that was supposed to be with it but we were able to find one that worked so we could finish assembly.
Both my husband and I have knee issues and this is easy for both of us to use. We do have to be careful not to overdo due to ease of use since we are just beginning. We haven’t quite mastered programming the different levels but are still able to utilize it.
I had done my research and this product was listed as one of the top 5 recumbent elliptical cross trainers based on quality, cost, and ease of use. So far I would recommend this unit.
It’s ok I know you want this hxt back but we love it so much we gave it a name”Bertha”. Part of the family now and. Assembly time 020 ,unpack 15 and “Start your engines”. Common sense programs seniors will enjoy.
Feel 25 years younger and starting to challenge the programs which even has a rest and recovery period. when I pass Bertha I smile and look forward to the next meeting. Just a thought the VA Madison Wi.
Might be interested in your fine products built like a tank for years of fun and certainly under priced by at least 1,000 dollars. Thank you for wonderful customer service ,they couldn’t help enough.
Cardio machines can be beneficial for bad knees because they provide a low-impact workout that can help to strengthen the muscles and joints around the knee. Additionally, cardio machines can help to improve flexibility and range of motion in the knee joint, which can help to reduce pain and improve function.
However, it is important to consult with a doctor or physical therapist before starting any new exercise routine, as they can help to design a program that is safe and effective for your individual needs.
