I had to upgrade my old xbox usb dongle so my son and I could play with mics on PC easier. I cannot afford 2 working headsets right at the moment. Hoping V2 solves some issues I’ve had with v1 and my new 180$ controller.

Mostly sound issues but sometimes had signal loss on button presses and I know it’s not the controller because it can happen with my bluetooth version 40$ controller as well.

It takes way too long to find my headset and it was in a sketchy looking plastic bag and not so secure bubble wrap you’re better off buying the real product like what I’m going to do

The controller is fine it works well, color is what I wanted but you need to know something EXTREMELY CRUCIAL WHEN THINKING OF THIS CONTROLLER: IF YOU HAVE THE OLD XBOX ONE PLAY AND CHARGE KIT IT ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT WORK WITH THIS CONTROLLER! They changed the usb port from a micro usb to a usb-c port so your old play and charge kit won’t charge at all! You can still use the battery but charging it wont happen! What you need to do is buy this: Microsoft – Controller for Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One + USB-C® Cable (Latest Model) – Black Model:1V8-00001 SKU:6436824 This is taken directly from Best Buy’s website if you buy this one you will hve no problems! Now I am stuck trying to find a new xbox series x/s play and charge kit and they are sold out everywhere! It is so stupid that microsoft doesn’t put in a female ended micro usb to male usb-c adaptor in case you don’t know this.

Also it should be on the box bigger that it uses usb-c and not micro usb chrging anymore! And also beware when trying to call best buy when you call a store you are shoved into a national call center and if youbare trying to get a specific store the person on the end of the phone will blatantly lie and say that you are talking to the store directly when you are not, And if you ask them to hold something for you and ask for their name they wil! give you their name but then when you go to the store to pick it up that person mysteriously doesn’t work there and they have never heard of them before! Take a look at the supplied photo the yellow circled bit makes it seem like they added a port not removed one and replaced it with something else, also circled is the date 2020, this controller was purchased in 2021! All around both parties need to do better both Microsoft AND Best Buy! Service from both has gone to the toilet! BE WARNED AND SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION!.

Good controller, it’s a slight update from the existing xbox One controller. Physically it feels the same as my old controller. Buttons feel good not too soft and not super clicky like some 3rd party controllers.

There is a slight change to the battery door, the old door it is angled slightly to the front of the controller and where it meets the bezel at the charge port it sweeps out: the new xbox Series X/S controller it’s more straight without the bent sweep by the bezel it feels more flush to that bezel.

Rechargable battery, the original charge and play battery pack from Microsoft will indeed fit in this controller, you do have to use a USB-C cable to charge it but it does work and does charge, you lose the tiny charging light indicator though (it was removed even on the new play and charge kit from MS).

Any USB-C cable will work with this controller same as they do with any android phone/tablet or game console that uses USB-C. Now what I don’t like is how clicky the D-pad is, I like the feel of the D-pad I just don’t like how noisy it is, it also feels like it hangs up on something internally if I try to make full circles with it.

This may smooth out with repeated use. I got mine in White to match my computer case and I do like the fact that the front bezel is also white. I also like the A, B, X, Y buttons being colored and not the same color as the blue, neon green, and red controllers.

All in all it’s a solid controller with very minor upgrades and cosmetic changes.

I love this device. I owned V1 which was one of the first wireless HDMI devices on the market. This one improves on it. I hear that there is a 4k version on the horizon. This device has 2 hidden secrets.

1) It uses Miracast along with Chromecast. The advantages of Miracast is that you don’t need a wifi connection for it to work. It forms its own private network between the broadcasting device and the adapter.

2) If the broadcasting device is a Windows device you can broadcast Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, etc. over it just like a wired connection to almost all devices with a compatible HDMI input. This means that you don’t need a logged in smart device.

It works directly via screen sharing and treats it like an extended monitor. When you try this with Chromecast it will work, but you will get a black screen and only be able to hear the audio and see the subtitles due to piracy restrictions.

I wanted a reasonably price way to connect my devices (windows computers & android tablets) to my tv. My criteria was affordability, ease of use, and compatible with most of my devices. ThIs display adapter fit the bill! – It’s relatively cheap.

~$50 or around $40 if on sale. – It’s easy to use. Just plug in and play. *connect the device to tv’s hdmi and usb for power, then you can connect to your tv wirelessly following pairing guide on your device – It works on my devices.

Cons: – won’t work with Apple Macs or iOS devices (iPad/iPhones). Bummer, I know. I think this is more on Apple on being too strict on what works with its devices and push for people to buy Apple TV’s to mirror devices with Apple’s AirPlay.

There are lots of different MiraCast adapers but the Microsoft display adapter V2 is a very good and reliable one. It holds the connection reliability and is easy to setup the first time and use anywhere you plug it in after that.

You don’t set it up on your wifi. Make sure you update when you get it. You need a Windows PC to do this. This is not a Chromecast! A Chromecast will let you send streaming media straight to your TV from the internet.

The Microsoft display adapter v2 will not do that. However the Microsoft display adapter v2 will do a better job going straight to your TV from a device. Not all devices will send to it though. Some Android phones and most, if not all, Windows 10 PCs with an Intel processor.

It should work with Windows 8 too but I’m pretty sure it only works with an Intel processor. This will give better frame rates and probably better audio then Chromecasting direct from a device – sending whatever is on your screen.

If you want to send video from apps or websites like YouTube or Netflix to your TV and do nothing more than that you probably want a Chromecast.

I was really hoping this could get a system up and running really quickly so I could hardwire it later. It worked for that. My initial location was decidedly sub-optimal due to a lot of large metal machinery between it and the LOS to the signal, but it did pretty well there anyway.

The throughput wasn’t ideal there either, so I ended up finding a better location up high where I had power and I just plugged it into the end of a 50′ ethernet cable. Once it was out from behind a wall of metal and large AC motors, the throughput was great.

I also wanted to slam in a hardwire as soon as possible, using two fifty foot CAT 6 cables connected by a butt connector. When I logged on and checked the connection, there was a noticeable signal loss using the hardwired line/connector setup when compared to the IO Gear wireless setup.

That speaks very well to how well this little thing works. It blasts. I guess that’s why it worked inside what was essentially a metal hole with a lot of AC noise. It’s really quite impressive. I’ve received the CAT8 single line to make the run with, but the throughput with the IO Gear dingus is so excellent I’m really in no rush, as I’m not at all sure it will best this little thing.

I installed it using the WPS button on the router, so that’s all I can speak to. A potato could do that. It’s glorious. I bought two and have only used the one, but I’m keeping the spare. These little things are wonderful.

3-star rating since setup was not straight forward and I had to occasionally re-sync it. Setup: the directions are easy to follow, but the device did not connect as described. While the IOGEAR was connected via ethernet to my laptop, I had to turn my laptop wi-fi ON for the IOGEAR to successfully connected to my wi-fi network.

Re-sync: my IOGEAR is connected to an HDFury that is accessible via a web UI, but the IOGEAR would lose wireless connection when certain commands are issued to the HDFury. An IOGEAR or HDFury reboot does not restore wireless connection.

To restore connection, I had to re-connect the IOGEAR via ethernet to my laptop and “re-sync” the IOGEAR. Due to the intermittent wi-fi connection with the HDFury, I no longer use the IOGEAR; I now use an ethernet connection to an Orbi wi-fi satellite – no connection issues.

Background: We had some Panda USB wireless adapters for our desktops, one is a Dell Optiplex 780, one is a Dell Optiplex 5040. The 780 runs Windows 7. The 780 we upgraded to Windows 10. For some reason the Panda Wireless USB adapters would just not work with Windows 10.

Windows 10 would recognize it only randomly, random internet access NO GOOD!!! Tried powerline, got much slower speeds than is practical. So then found this for ethernet to wireless Setup is easy enough for me being an IT person.

For non-IT it is straightforward and some people may find it easy, some people may need a bit more patience. The instruction booklet is REALLY hard to read, at least the screenshots. Or else I’m getting old.

After the Xbox series x and game pass ultimate, this was my next most important purchase for my setup. It’s just me so I have two battery packs to one controller, which means I always have fresh batteries.

These battery packs hold a solid charge, I can typically get 30 – 40 hours per charge per pack. And yes, I can charge the packs in or out of the controller. For $18 these are a must buy. Ive had a great experience with these and I absolutely recommend them to all Xbox series x/s users.

Disliked!!! I bought this pack because it was the only brand available. They were already charged so I used one instantly on my remote. Played a good while with it! Like 2 weeks maybe. Once it died I charged it and in the meantime I tried the second pack.

It wouldn’t power my remote so I thought it wasn’t charged liked the other one was. So once the first one charged I put it back on my remote and it wouldn’t power on at all! The light came on my remote and then died out instantly! I put brand new regular batteries in my remote it powered down instantly! Long story short.

I tried BOTH rechargeable packs on TWO remotes and now both of my remotes are broken! I think the battery pack killed my remotes. Not even batteries will turn them on. Now I have to buy new remotes and one of them was only a month old!.

It’s also better than the built-in wireless-N adapter for the newer 360S. The 360S is only 2. 4 GHz B/G/N compatible, while this adapter also works with the 5 GHz N band, giving higher speeds and less interference, albeit with a slight reduction in range and structural penetration.

Since my router and XBox 360S are in the same room, I see greater transfer speeds, more reliable video streaming, and less network congestion than I did when using the 2. 4 GHz spectrum. I wasn’t sure how it would co-exist with the S model’s built-in hardware but I went ahead and just plugged it in and powered on.

I checked the wireless configuration and the 5GHz network is showing up at the top of the list. All I had to do was select it and enter the WPA2 passphrase. My wifi connection rates instantly went from about 60Mbit/s to a cool 300Mbit/s.

I was very impressed that Microsoft’s configuration tool sorted everything out on its own. Embedded tools rarely handle such unexpected configurations so easily. My only disappointment with this process was the lack of a mounting slot as found on the Core/Pro/Arcade/Elite models.

To compensate, though, this little adapter does come equipped with little folding feet that generally keep it upright, at least until the cat comes over to check out my installation work. I have also had one of these on my old 360 Pro for a couple of years and it is still chugging away in the back room as a Netflix/Hulu/Amazon streambox.

I wasn’t sure if the 5GHz signal would get through six layers of sheetrock and some wooden cabinets but there really didn’t turn out to be much cause for concern. Signal integrity stays around 70-75% and dropped packets are rare.

Decided to hook up my 360 to play some old games that arent backward compatible. Forgot that it needed to be hooked up with Ethernet cable and did not have access to Ethernet where I wanted to set it up.

So went looking for this. Arrived and took me maybe ten minutes to hook up and get all connected to my WiFi. Started downloading the update for the system. I was so happy to have this back up and running.

Well worth the price!.

Fantastic! Works exactly as it should! We bought an old Xbox 360 and needed the wireless adapter to use for some old backwards compatible games so it’s brilliant. Can now play some old games, like Simpsons Hit and Run, bringing us right back to our childhood! Such a lockdown treat.

WOOOO HOOOO!!! No more tripping over that damn cable. You gotta love it no more wires. Well worth the buy, but wouldn’t you know it a few days after I buy my one…… BAM…. SALE!!!!! LOL oh well that’s the way things happen.

Can’t really say much about the adaptor though, its a wireless network adaptor so you can connect to the net via a wireless network and kick the butt off your friends without have to leave the comfort of your gaming chair, and no tripping over that damn cable on the floor.

Hummm well i gess I could say something about it lol. Service was great… as it always is, ordered it around 2am got it 1 day later arrived at my door around 9am, if only all delivery was like this when you buy something.

I had some issues setting this up. Here are some tips to troubleshoot that may help. 1. Change USB location. 2. Make sure you keep it as far away from other 2. 4ghz devices as possible. this can cause connection issue.

3. Check device manager and see if windows has the driver installed. If you check and see a yellow flag with “Xbox acc” then you need to use windows update other drivers option to get the driver. Don’t download drivers from blog posts and random websites.

4. Check your controller can pair to another device Incase the above don’t work. This is a literal game changer after using USB connection for years. You can even connect a 3. 5 mm jack to the controller to get chat and audio via PC.

The product shown in the first image is not the product I got. I was expecting the newer version of this adapter because of that first image. However, I received the older version of the adapter which is larger and I had to move around usb devices for it to fit.

It also came without original packaging and missing the cap. The description says it comes with the protective cap, so that’s a bit annoying. Otherwise it seems to work fine, but this seller is deceptive with what you will receive.

This little dongle works as expected – IF it installs. For some reason, Windows 10 would not recognize it or automatically install the correct drivers. I looked online at Microsoft’s troublshooting page and it basically said that, if it doesn’t install automatically it must be defective.

There was no option to manually download drivers for it. After a bit of hunting around forums, I found a post with a link to the file I needed and was able to manually install it. It’s working fine now but what an awful way to handle product support for such a simple item.

Be aware that if your controller does not have a 3. 5mm audio jack on the bottom, you will need to connect your controller to your PC with a USB cable to update its firmware before you can use this. Edit: I have since performed a fresh Win10 install and this time, the dongle installed without a hitch.

Unfortunately, I still run into issues where my controller will randomly lose sync with my PC, meaning I need to stop whatever I’m playing and try to re-sync them. Sometimes, they simply refuse to stay synced for more than 20 seconds.

If you sit right next to your PC as most people do, I’d recommend sticking with the USB cable. I like to use my PC from my couch, so I’ll continue using it – for lack of any other options.

If you’re considering buying this product, you probably already know what it does so why are you reading this review? Conversely, if you don’t know what you’re looking for, then you’re probably looking for a device that let’s you project your iPhone or iPad onto a TV.

Keep looking. But when it comes to a piece of hardware that interfaces seamlessly with Microsoft software/utilities, it doesn’t get easier than this. Plug the MWDA into an HDMI port and the USB port (for power) on your TV, select the correct input source on the TV, and then simultaneously press the Windows key and the letter “K” on your PC keyboard.

Look at the device name displayed on the TV, find the corresponding name on your PC screen, select it, and then watch as your PC screen flies through the air and lands on your TV. I had a local organ grinder’s monkey try using this device, blindfolded, wearing little monkey mittens, and he was successful on the first try.

I’m serious. That’s no joke. Now, add it to your cart and stop wasting time reading needless reviews.

I have spent all day trying to get it to display full screen on my 35″ wide-screen monitor. No avail. It either stretches it to the sides and distort the image OR if I want it to NOT distort, it will have 4″ black unused space on each side.

I’m frustrated, if I knew it was not smart enough to fill in the whole screen without distortion, I would have not gone through this waste of time and money. This is not a plug-and-play device. actually, it will never work.

I check the display settings, there’s no option to make it fill in 100% (although it says 100%, but still wrong). I checked for display and monitor updates, they al appear to be the latest and greatest, so my conclusion.

this is a piece of garbage. Don’t buy it. Up to today March of 2022, Microsoft still has a long way to go in wireless display adapters. I would not recommend this to a friend. heck, I don’t even have the heart to recommend it to an enemy.

This thing came with a lot of issues. The monitor this is plugged in to is right behind me, so only 5 feet. Every 30 minutes to 1 hour it will lose connection. I’ve tried attaching it to Wi-Fi, connecting an external power supply, and moving it away from heated surfaces.

No luck, still persistent. I have also found no support for adapting to other video formats. Tried two different brand adapters, one to DVI and the other to DisplayPort and neither work. If you don’t have an available HDMI port, don’t buy this.

Honestly while the controllers for all versions of the Xbox’s that we have I’m so tired of buying controllers! The ones that are recharge are best, the wired ones are in the way but affordable, and the wireless with regular batteries means you’d better stock up on batteries! Though I think batteries are more affordable these days but you will go thru a lot if you have a true gamer in your house.

The controllers all work as intended but based on your gamer’s style will best let you know what type of controller to buy. If getting rechargeable controllers get the dock for it. Some new one just came out with for pods to multi charge? So look into that.

This controller has lasted me about a year now, It works great thus far. My biggest gripe with this one is the analog sticks tend to get stuck and your character will walk on its own, or it’ll go through the menu all by itself.

That can be very annoying. This is the 2nd controller of this exact kind I bought. The first one had the analog stick issue months after purchasing and the 2nd one has lasted much longer. I assume maybe it was a bad batch or something.

I bought an Xbox 360 when it first came out, and until I was gifted an Xbox Series X/S, I’d been using the 360 controller on my PC long after the console got put away. Microsoft, hands down, has the best controllers.

If you’re on a budget? Get the 360 controller and use it for everything you can. The only thing which you’ll notice is more comfortable on the newer Xbox controller is the textured grips, which makes a difference, but isn’t totally necessary.

I had bought this card for the Bluetooth purposes so that i could use my xbox controller and airpods with my pc. I hadnt even notices that this was a dual action card: both wifi and bluetooth. When i had finished installing the card i had neglected to plug in my ethernet.

I used the onboard wifi for 6 WHOLE DAYS without noticing any difference in network performance. Great product!!!.

TL;DR This card doesn’t work well with an Xbox One controller, but has a reliable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection with all other devices. I specifically bought this card for using an Xbox One controller with my PC, but sadly the connection isn’t stable enough to play, and even worse is that’s only 6-8ft away from the receiver.

No issues with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connections with any other devices. It seems as if the Xbox One controller doesn’t like third party Bluetooth receivers. If you’re looking to use this with a Bluetooth Xbox One controller, pass on this or any other Bluetooth receiver and just buy the official Xbox One controller adapter for the PC.

I got this for my streaming PC instead of a USB wifi that kept crashing Love it so far, I had problem with up and down speeds but then I just disabled then re enabled and it’s good after a few weeks of use.

It is a 3168 ac chip that is older and is 1×1 and max 467 mbps speeds according to Intel website, so it’s good for me but it is not a 800+ speed chip as advertised but for the price I am happy.

Obviously it works well to connect Xbone controllers. My major gripe is the dongle form factor. It seems like a major oversight to not have a cable come with/attached to the thing. My roommates have already bent mine from knocking it, as I feared.

I have put it on a separate extension cable since then. But, really, who would be using this like a thumb drive? It should have an extension and maybe a little magnet/antenna. I feat this product experienced a little too much cost cutting in design/production.

Now I can use the Xbox One controllers with my 16gig 2400mhz, Octa-core, GTX-1080 fe, RevoDrive3 480, 3x 240gb SSD’d gaming rig. Where the Xbox One stops, the PC takes over and exceeds. Ultra everything 4k settings on most titles.

The One X can’t even do that. Not to mention, going to gamecopyworld to grab a trainer. Really enjoy those trainers.

It worked as expected. I got this because my Xbox one controller was not Bluetooth ready. I wanted to use it to play monster hunter on pc and it works.

Comes in a little package-envelope, just as I wanted it to be. Literally what the picture is, is what you get. Plug it into your PC and sync like you would on your Xbox!

I have purchased three of these play and charge kits. These kits are made of the same high quality plastic that the controller is made from. The cable and connector are great and the perfect length for me.

At first glance these seem like a great accessory to have, but every time these battery packs start to lose their ability to hold a charge. This will depend on how much they are used and charged based on the user, but in my experience they didn’t last very long before they wouldn’t hold a charge.

While they did work at optimal performance they had a very good battery life and charge relatively quickly. I did have an issue with one of my gaming headsets though and these charge kits. While the battery pack was charging it created interference with the headphones.

This created a buzzing noise that was very distracting. Overall if you can find them cheaper than a pack of non rechargeable batteries then the charge and play kit is a good deal. I would suggest purchasing a AA battery charger and rechargeable batteries over this any day.

These are okay. if you charge these and have a more expensive headset (such as turtle beaches) you can’t charge, and talk at the same time. well, you can, but theres a really annoying feedback sound that comes with talking.

it’s great if you don’t have rechargeable batteries, or your rechargeable batteries aren’t charged. but honestly, you’re better off investing in a bunch of rechargeable batteries than buying this. at least if you have a ton of rechargeable AA batteries you can still use them for other things, and you can have backups available.

especially if you have multiple different consoles, it’s great to have backups. if you only use the standard mic that comes with your xbox, then by all means buy this. because you won’t have any issue.

you can even have an empty battery pack plugged into this and still be able to play.

So far battery is working fine but disappointed in the plug and play cord. I was expecting to get the 9 foot cord it shows on the box but i get one that’s only 4 feet 8 inches. Good thing i have my original 9 foot, thanks a lot for nothing.

The particular controllers I bought do seem to be authentic OEM Microsoft controllers. Their labels are correct and have different serial numbers. They have holograms on top and the plastic is etched correctly.

Look for these characteristics when you buy controllers, new or used. As for Xbox 360 controllers in general I find them to be the ideal value for standard gaming and since all my gaming computers have Xbox 360 wireless adapters, I continue to buy them over Xbox One controllers even now since it’s a hassle to use both 360 and XBOne controllers at once for local multi-player.

works well and paired with the jabra motion sensor intelligence paired easily and works as intended. no real isssues. software interface and updates needs some work it is not readily intuitive.

I did buy this product cause I wanted to connect my Jabra stone 3 with my computer. This product is Good. Just cost like the earphone, a bit too much I think. You cannot compare this to the other products cause there aren’t any alternative items using this and Jabra devices.

The cable for sale here is 6 feet long alot shorter than the microsoft cable. I had 10 feet before it broke and bought this one. Works perfect but the lengh is 4 feet shorter.

This is Great for using your Xbox 360 controller for your PC! If the Driver does not install correctly(Which it should), then go to the Microsoft site and manually download and install the driver from there.
