The frame itself is fantastic in its appearance, exactly what we were looking for. The wood effect matches the real wooden features in our room perfectly. It is easy to attach to the TV, but the corner connectors don’t attach very well and pop off whenever you try fit them.

Some fit better on different corners if you switch them around, but we struggled to keep a couple in any holes at all. Thankfully, they’re not crucial to the support or structure of the frame since the frame itself is magnetic and clips onto the TV so we’ve just left a couple of the corner clips off and you can’t tell any difference.

Aside from this, we are very happy with the frame. A lot of money for what it is, but that is down to the manufacturer presumably. For us, it was a worthwhile investment as it matches our wooden room features so well and looks great.

Does the job very well. Displays artwork convincingly as paintings. Anti-reflection coating helps a lot next to chandelier. Art store has lots of stuff but needs annual subscription. Form factor is terrific, but power/data cable is noticeable on plain wall.

Might stand out less on brick or wood panel. Biggest selling point is the ability to display my own photos. Matting options have several colors and let you display one, two, or three photos together.

iPhone interface is better than before, but is still occasionally glitchy, a bit slow, and involves a lot of steps. Overall, The Frame is a great product. My wish list for the future would be to have all the screens capable of portrait mode (currently only on 32″ and 43″ Frames) and a quicker, more streamlined iPhone interface.

I bought this TV because I wanted a screen that did not dominate the room. I removed a large picture and put this in its place. We had to watch videos on ‘how to hang a Frame TV ‘ online many times to get the confidence to cut holes in the plasterboard for the cable, but eventually we succeeded in hanging it, having bought special toggle fixings and more robust screws on-line as advised.

It really looks like just another picture on the wall and our grandchildren were taken aback at our new tech! But there is still much to learn. I have still not mastered putting my own photos on there, but with time I will get there.

This TV isn’t for everyone. At first glance, it seems like a gimmick (and maybe it is), but for certain situations and needs, it definitely fills a need. First of all, the picture AND sound quality is spectacular.

The picture performs just as well as near any current leading display and the sound is fantastic, as the floor mount doubles as a speaker with some actually booming sound with the built in subwoofer.

Now, on the main feature of the rotating screen. This works best with rooms/homes that need to prioritize and maximize available space. I think this works best in a bedroom or small living room setup where it can turn vertical to save space and act as a digital clock or even artwork or slideshow display and when you need it, it’ll rotate to widescreen for whatever you’re watching.

I think this is the real use over any kind of social media app gimmicks. Bottom line, if you’re looking for something that’ll save space and has great sound/picture quality, this is a great pick.

Perfect for my bedroom! The picture is clear and crisp! However, the sound could be better, but still good once you get used to it. The remote works perfectly. I love Samsung products! I have a 55′ Samsung Curve in my living room, and my phone is also a Samsung! So, I figured why not add another Samsung family member to the bedroom!? I’m very satisfied with my purchase!.

We picked up this last Samsung 43″ on sale. It’s replacing a 40″ RCA that got damage in a recent move. For tthe same price we paid for the old one 3 years. ago, we gain 3 inches, got a smart TV and the Samsung has much better speakers than the RCA.

Still we hooked up a Bose soundbar to the Optical input and it sounds even better. We’ve taken advantage of downloading the Apple TV app to move our Apple TV to the bedroom. And we’re able to stream Netflix and Plex TV through the apps as well.

Also the USB connection works great for extra media input. So happy we found this sale!!.

Oh Boy, What a waste of money time and energy this peice of garbage is! It’s only built to just barely pass the 1yr mark. Mind you I’ve had problems with it from the Get-Go but of course Best Buy folks swore it was my internet provider.

So troubleshooting back and forth with them for months and months. First big change was me just straight up running an ethernet cable from the modem to the TV, was a bit better. Months later I’m swearing at it again.

Internet provider resets bla bla bla. Then later Samsung folks say “Oh it needs a Factory Reset” To which it GOT WORSE. Crave rarely ran for a full 20min w/o crashing, Netflix ran maybe a bit longer.

Constantly crashing, sound goes off, etc. Basically a variety of crashing and stalling behaviours. Oh then just after the year anniversary the pixels started glitching out to add to all the crashing.

Fun! Now it’s at the point where it won’t even turn ON! (Dude i wish this was funny) I can get cable TV but nothing works with the Samsung remote. No smart TV apps. Constantly unplugging and retrying for hours.

I was just able to get it on to do a network reset. Nope. Not that. This TV was not made properly. Also the Best Buy agents, and the Samsung agent have all basically shrugged and treated me like I’m a moron.

Good times.

I just purchased this TV and it was easy to set up. During set up, I went ahead and selected update software so it would be current right away. Although the screen said it would take 29 minutes to update it took only about 15.

Set up was an easy step-by-step process. The picture on the TV is super. I bought this set for my small, limited space downtown condo that has an open floor plan. I want to be able to see the TV not only while sitting in the living room but also while in the kitchen or dining room.

This set does have some fade out/wash out when viewed at an extreme angle. However, compared to other sets in the 40-43″ size, this has the best viewing angle with the least amount of wash out when watching from a 90 degree view from center.

The quality of picture is great right out of the box at factory settings. This is even so when I use my DVD player that is not blu ray nor 1080. I have tweaked a little, but am hesitant as I really don’t know what I’m doing.

The on screen prompts are very limited for each setting. I downloaded the manual hoping for much more detailed info, but its not there. I am probably a fairly easy to please customer but have read how a TV picture can be enhanced significantly with calibration – I just don’t know how to do it or what each term means – I need more detail – for example, when does one use a dynamic picture mode versus a standard one.

But I guess its not Samsung’s job to teach me. I’ve searched online for any easy suggestions on the best picture for the set but have come up empty handed. I wish Samsung had provided more info for adjustments – they are there to be used – so I’d like to use but need more guidance.

I also like the stand for this set. I have brick walls and the landlord will not let me wall mount. So many other sets have these small leg stands at either end of the TV. Although the table top used for this set is only 35″ wide, this sits securely since the base is sturdy and no need to be concerned of accidental topple.

If you recommend this to someone you’re either terrible or hate them. The build quality is complete trash, if you try and rotate this tv it flexes so much it feels like the actual screen is going to come out.

The plastic around the edges is cheap and also doesn’t feel like it’s in place and you can’t even tighten the stands all the way down so guess what they flex too. Not to mention when you pick the thing up you can hear things rattle and move on the inside.

Picture is ok from a distance but up close you might as well watch tv static or consider looking at the sun till you go blind it’s so bad. This tv’s perfect for throwing out of windows at college parties and if you were wondering what it’s like to have glaucoma.

It makes you set up a Samsung account too LMAO which is ideal for you creatures that live under a rock and still use a Samsung phone. Debating on if I want to return it or just leave it outside for trash.

Perfect size for my bedroom, purchased a swing out wall mount as well. Very light and easy to install with basic tools. I’ve been drawn to the Samsung brand for years as I have a 2010 plasma that is still going strong.

All of the features included are handy, setup was simple just plug in and connect to your network. Streaming works alright, if you’re far from your access point consider running a CAT 6 wire or get a wireless booster if needed, I’m about 40 feet and three walls away without issue still have 3/4 signal.

All of the apps included offer free tv / B-rate movies good for baseline entertainment I guess. The only issues to speak of are the sound which seems to be rather standard fair these days with flat panel models having speakers of low grade facing rear, marketing 101 must buy a soundbar if you care about quality.

Voices are distorted at times, it sounded like something was rattling against the wall but wasn’t. Messed with the sound settings and those really didn’t help much. Purchased a Samsung soundbar and used the ARC / HDMI connector and it solved the issue totally.

Lastly, and this might very well not be the tv, but when attempting to access my DNLA media server via wireless from my computer (sharing saved movies, pictures, etc accessible from your hard drive), sometimes the connection point shows up on the Source screen, maybe 70% of the time.

No rhyme or reason why or why not, I turn off the set and wait, turn it back on and sometimes it shows. Also when searching, only certain files are accessible. The TV does not load. avi files despite saying it recognizes this codec, only.

mp4 works. Again, this may be an issue with Windows or my computer, I’m not totally tech savvy but it’s worth knowing before hand. Otherwise this seems to be a great baseline model TV for a great price.

This is a good TV however I do not like the buttons on it. Having dual HDMI ports is a plus however. Picture Quality Looks more like an LCD than LED picture, but it is clear. Sound Quality The sound is not powerful, however it is very clear.

Durability We have had this in our office since the day we got it, and it looks fine; no wear and tear. Design The toggle switch is my least favorite part of this television. click the toggle one way to bring up the options and then push it up and in to turn the TV on or off.

Other function are to the left, right, forward, and back. You may think you are pushing it up, but you end up pushing the toggle forward or back. It feels very flimsy also. Performance The TV “mode” and etc display boxes sit on the screen for a lot longer than I have noticed others televisions do, which is annoying because it blocks the picture.

The resolution is great however, we use it as a computer monitor as well as a television and the picture is never distorted.

I know you are probably expecting a technical review, one filled with whether the picture is better at 1080p or you could save your money and get 720p, backlighting settings, sound ohms and balance of bass and treble, and such.

But I don’t know a lot about the specifications and technical aspects of this TV. I only know what the average 58 year-old “housewife” knows: is it worth the cost, is the picture sharp, can i hear the dialogue clearly, are the colors true-to-life.

I can tell you that the answer to all those questions is a definite “yes. ” We live in Alaska, so we had to special-order this TV. We chose it based on the recommendation of the specialty media store here and waited with some trepidation for delivery.

We were not disappointed. The picture is fantastic. We were able to manipulate not only the backlighting, but also the contrast, brightness, etc. , to get what is truly a sharp, amazing picture even though the television is mounted on a small piece of wall in a large living room that is nothing but floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

We don’t use blinds or shades and in the summer here, the sun shines until 2:00 a. m. But there is no glare, no washing-out of colors, no reduction in the picture clarity. Some of the alternative settings and commands are a bit confusing for us and we did have to experiment quite a bit with picture sizes to get one that does not cut off legends or stretch the picture out of proportion.

I wish the commands came with better or more explanatory information when you highlight them. There is a nice sentence of explanation but sometimes, unless you are a video geek, you still have no idea what the category is, much less whether or not you should select one of the alternative settings.

The TV does not come with an owners manual – you have to look online or download so that is not a convenient source of information. I am certain we are still “missing out” on many of the features available on the set.

Even so, we are pleased with our purchase. The sound quality is also very good, though you do have to be careful not to place other component pieces in front of the speakers. Luckily our DVD is slim, but the satelite box was too deep to leave in front of the TV so we had to acquire a table on which to place the satellite box, gaming consoles, and our amp receiver.

We have not yet connected the TV to our sound system — on Richard’s “honey do” list — but the sound is still very clear and full spectrum. For example, I am sitting in the dining room as I write this and am situated 20 ft to the side of the TV.

I am watching th movie “Alien” and the sound reaching me — dialog, screams, music — is clear and full. You do not need a home theatre sound set-up to enjoy this TV. And we really enjoy the looks of this TV.

i know the real issue is the picture+sound, but when you are mounting a TV as the focal point of a living room, especially one where it has to compete with views of Mt. McKinley, you want it to look good, too.

And this one does. Slick, clean lines. That smooth, classic look, as if it cost twice or three times what it actually cost. I am certain the look would fit into almost any style decor or setting. And it was easy to mount on the wall — though the TV is heavier than you might think and we do have occasional problems with the mount loosening up because of the weight of the TV.

I think my only complaint (besides the lack of a paper owners manual included with the TV) is the difficulties in internet interactivity. We always watch for any software updates and allow them, but we do find it difficult to get to the internet and also difficult to use the few included internet services.

Some of that might be due to our “unique” location. The snow, cold often affect our sattelite reception. We have our own wireless internet and while I have not noticed any problems with internet reception on our computers with the extreme weather, it might be part of hte problem with the TV internet connectivity.

But I don’t think so. I honestly think that Samsung lags in creating true internet connectivity and interactivity in their products. So you do have to have a degree of patience and modified expectations in this area.

I have not tried to contact Samsung about this so I do not know how well their customer service might respond. All in all, this TV was well worth the price, including the hefty shipping charge we had to pay to get it delivered to us up here in Alaska.

And we are very pleased with both the picture and sound quality. I have absolutely no regrets that we did not get the 3-D or a larger screen model. This model is perfect for us, for the setting, for our degree of use.

We are heavy movie watchers and this TV has proven perfect for whichever movie we watch — and our collection is extremely eclectic (black+white, silent, travel, documentaries, dramas, comedies, BBC, etc.

). Our outdoor lighting does not dampen the picture at all. I recommend this model without hesitation – I only gave 4 stars because of the lack of paper manual and less-than-perfect internet connectivity.

I bought this Samsung 32″ TV to replace a similar product (also a Samsung 32″). In general its a good product; good sound, good picture quality. What I dislike about it is that, unlike its predecessor, it does not swivel on its base.

Other than that, its a good, sturdy product. Would I buy it again? Honestly, I don’t know. I made my decision very quickly and went with the successor to what I had. I actually think the other one was better, but who knew at the time.

That having been said, if the biggest complaint I have is that the base does not turn, then its probably fair to say that its a good TV. My guess is that I will not have to buy another TV for several years; when I do I will certainly consider Samsung as a viable possibility Sound Quality Sound quality is good; I can usually keep it on 12-14 and hear just fine Durability I’ve had it 2 1/2 years.

and not a problem yet Design Base does not swivel; other than that, its a basic, functional design.

I’ve owned the 65″ 2022 for a month and a half. Here are my take aways as a photographer with a particular eye for image quality. – Beautiful 4k image with vibrant colours and brightness. Excels in this regard, and short of up close viewing is convincing as an artwork at a technical level.

Read on however. – Matte finish is exceptional and makes the tv usable day and night in our lounge room. This feature alone is the most compelling thing about the frame over other qleds. – The viewing angle is utterly atrocious.

Blacks turn to near purple at 30-40 degrees off centre, and saturation drops considerably, both vertically and horizontally. This means mounting it at eye level as an artwork degrades blacks and colour for seated tv viewing, and the inverse is true if mounted low for improved quality for seated tv viewing.

It’s very, very far from believable as an artwork. This is so bad in fact that even when viewing an image dead on in the middle the colours and contrast are dropping away in the corners. Don’t even get me started on how bad it is when approaching from the side.

I think if the tv were in a spot in the room where you didn’t have to walk past it, and if it was only used for artwork or tv alone the deficiencies could be worked around. – The grey and black uniformity when watching movies is worse than the 10 year old LCD TV it replaced.

There are massive light splotches in the middle, sides and two corners, so much so that details in dimly lit scenes are darker than the splotches. If the camera pans at its like someone smeared @#*& all over the screen.

The same is true of grey images, just with a different pattern. Then there are the super bright / discoloured vertical areas on the far left and right of the screen when viewing light grey images, i.

e as a computer monitor. The only remedy for the poor uniformity is to turn the brightness down to around 20 (40%). It makes the defects less obvious but it’s a very dim image then. – The ambient light sensor is insufficient at picking up subtle light changes in dim lighting, meaning the tv is always way too bright.

The issue here is actually that in my lounge room the tv itself casts a shadow on the sensor and therefore is ineffective. Unfortunately the sensor is tucked away under the frame and can’t be moved. This also breaks the believability of the screen as an artwork as it’s just glaring all the time.

Samsung don’t allow you to control the brightness of the screen via IP either so I can’t even build home automations to manage this externally. All in all, if you use it to display artwork in the background it’s ok.

If you use it for the kids to watch tv it’s ok. If you’re a photographer or an artist who has an eye for quality, stay very, very far away. It’s just not there yet for artworks if you’re serious. As a tv however if they actually release a version with local dimming like they falsely advertise this as having (they lie and say it has ‘Supreme UHD dimming’ which is just a marketing ploy) then it would at least help with their poor image uniformity issues and get it close to being a respectable tv.

Needless to say I will be returning this tv and opting for an oled or qled with local dimming and foregoing the dedicated art mode. As it is it’s a Jack of all trades and master of none, and you pay a premium for it.

I wish I had actually looked at this in a store and not bought into the marketing hype. I should have known better.

This summer I got Samsung’s The Frame TV based solely because I did not want the living room wall dominated by a huge black rectangle when I wasn’t using the TV. Unfortunately, I’ve been sorely disappointed by the TV.

The art mode only works so-so because it is not good at turning itself on when someone comes into the room. By far the worst aspect of the TV is its operating system. Recently, while playing Spiderman: Miles Morales on my Playstation 5 the HDMI connection frequently cuts out.

In this video you can see that happen at 13 seconds in. At that point I have been playing for about 20 minutes and it had already happened about 4 times. To make matters worse, sometimes the connection never comes back and I have to unplug & replug the HDMI connection in order to continue playing.

Sometimes what I plug it back in then the TV does not recognize what type if device it is. This issue is unpredictable but it does seem to happen more in during fast action with lots of effects on screen.

Before getting The Frame, I used the PS5 quite a bit with my previous 2014 TBV and never had issues like this. The OS is truly disappointing, especially considering how expensive The Frame is. Some other observations on it: — I have a Samsung soundbar connected to the TV.

I estimate tha more than 50% of the time that I turn the TV on it is using the TV speakers and I have to go back into the setting to switch the audio to the soundbar. The Soundbar is connected to the eARC HDMI port so even if it were turned off the TV can turn it back on.

— This TV’s multiview is really annoying. Anytime I cast something from a phone it goes into multiview unless if the TV was already in the same app. Turning off multview then takes 2 or 3 clicks. I’d like to be able to completely disable multiview but there is no option to do so.

— Its not uncommon that there is significant lag remote between button presses on the remote and when the TV registers the action. on one occasion it seemed like none of the button presses were registering so I pressed the button multiple times and then all the button presses happened all together.

On another occasion the remote was not working at all. I have to use the phone app to control the TV until I did a complete shutdown of the TV. — The home screen for the TS has ads for moves and shows that I’ve never expressed interest in and that I cannot remove.

I already bought this very expensive TV and I’m still being served ads. 00:13 HDMI connection from PS5 cuts out.

I purchased this television in mid-June from the Samsung website, and it was delivered in good time in early July. I have been using this television for approximately a week and a half as of the time of this review.

I find the television in general to be very good quality with good features for optimising its use for playing video games (the primary purpose I intend to use the television for), and I also appreciate the realistic simulation of a physical framed painting/photograph when in Art Mode.

My one major complaint, though, is the Tizen operating system that the television uses. It has very limited applications available to it, and does not allow me to download any video calling applications other than Google Duo, which I use infrequently.

As far as I am aware of, Tizen does not natively allow the installation of APK files for third-party applications not available on the Tizen App Store, and while I am attempting to find a workaround for this at the time of writing this review, it is highly disappointing that the ability to natively download third-party applications is so highly restricted.

I would recommend at least that many, many more non-streaming applications should be added to the Tizen App Store, as while there are plenty of streaming applications available, there are virtually no other types of applications, such as productivity (e-mail viewers, word processors, etc.

) or social (video calling, Text Chat, etc. ) applications available for Tizen. Aside from this, I am generally happy with the quality of the television, though I would have much preferred it if all the advanced features (such as FreeSync and 200 Hz refresh rate) were also available on the smaller models of this television, as I purchased a screen size slightly larger than I would have otherwise preferred due to the fact that any television screen size smaller than 55 inches did not include these features.

No sound when turning on the tv. It didn’t need to be updated, it wasn’t muted, I tried pressing the buttons on the remote like YouTube suggested. It would work after we unplugged it and plugged it back in.

The next day turn it on and no sound. We eventually emailed RCA. I sent them pictures of the tv and gave them the model, serial number, receipt, and an explanation of what was going on. They never emailed me back.

I googled about it online and found some suggestions about adjusting the Roku sound settings through a TCL tv website. I went into the Roku settings and adjusted it to what they suggested and haven’t had a problem for the last two days.

It’s going back if it happens again. I wish RCA had better customer service.

It wasn’t that I disliked it, I didn’t order two smart TV’S. I’ve called Walmart. com and FedEx to send one back to the store and put my money back in bank. I can’t get no help. This isn’t the first time Walmart.

Com has ordered two items on me. I’m tired of going through this. I don’t understand why I don’t have the option to cancel one of them. So I have to wait on FedEx truck to take the other one back. I’m going to have to quit using this app if they can’t get my order correct.

The TV is a 3/5 as TVs go. Sound is meh, picture is decent. The ad I looked at featuring the TV said it was a 4K tv but it is just 1080–very different and a bummer surprise to see. The mounting platform is actually VESA 400×200 not 200×200 as listed.

I had to buy and install a new mounting stand because of that. Good TV for a bedroom. The remote is so simple (in a good way); my wife can’t figure out our other TV remotes but this one she can use just fine.

Bought two of these just before Christmas. One was a gift for my son, the other for a smaller room. I’ve read most of the poor reviews, those people clearly didn’t even open the manual and/or don’t understand how to properly measure a TV screen.

Bought this TV last month. After hooking it up and turning it on, I noticed a very annoying buzzing sound coming from the speakers. I thought maybe I picked a defective one and switched it for another one.

Hooked that one up and it too was making that buzzing sound. Went back to the store once again and just exchanged it for a better brand. I do not recommend that product.

Bought this to replace OLD CRT TV. decent picture and sound. Very light but well made with loots of functions supported. Biggest disappointments ar viewing from side is not great and will not work with universal remote.

have tried everything. Also bought Hitachi and it is better and does work with remote.

I bought this TV less than 2 weeks ago for the bedroom because I already have another Samsung which has worked great. This TV however has intermittent response issues. It works for a few days with no issues and then it does not respond to the remote at all.

The first time I could not power the TV on with the remote, and then I attempted to power it on via the TV on/off button, and there was no response. The light would flash on and off, but the TV would not power on, so I unplugged it for about a minute, and then all was well.

Today it powered on, but then the TV would not respond when trying to do anything else with the remote. I tried going to the main menu, pressing the source button, and pressing the settings button to no avail.

I could power off and on, but the remote responded to nothing else. Once again, I had to unplug it, and then the remote responded. I will be returning it to the store, because I should not have to be going through this on a brand new TV.

Perfect bedroom television. My fiance and I love to lay in bed and watch our favorite shows on it. It has the perfect sized screen for just about anyone

I don’t think this is the exact model that I have, but it goes without saying: Samsung televisions (at least in my opinion) are the cream of the crop. Amazing color and picture.

Purchased for Kitchen area and is great, just the right size. My only gripe is the size and location of writing when you change channels. It needs to be bigger and perhaps at the bottom of the screen in the middle.

The sound could have a little more base however overall very happy.

I really LOVE my Samsung TV. The picture quality is perfect, the interface is easy to navigate and setting it up was a cinch. The remote has buttons big enough to find what you want in low lighting and feels nice to the touch.

I’d definitely recommend this model.

Pros: Light weight, easy to watch. Nice remote Cons: The stand was hard to put together. Especially wheyou have bad hands. Not a good design in that aspect.

I really love how this TV blends in with the great room to my house. It matches seamlessly with the other pictures and artwork in the room. TV picture quality is more than acceptable, but definitely not the best I’ve seen especially for the price.

You can get a better TV for cheaper, but it will be a giant black rectangle while off. If you do not mind that then I would get a different TV. The form factor of this TV is excellent. Very thin and mounts flush to the wall just like a piece of art.

It will not fool anyone as art since the light coming from the screen is obvious especially in low light, but it is a very good looking TV and everyone that sees it loves it. I recommend running the one connect wire through conduit behind the wall.

That means you’ll have to cut your wall and do minor dry wall work or hire someone to, but it’s worth the effort. Having a visible wire coming out of this would ruin the effect and you might as well go for a cheaper panel at that point.

I highly recommend this panel if you want a TV that still looks good while off. I personally love it, but the price is high. It does costs less than my artwork and greatly improves the look of the room so it might be worth it depending on what you’re going for.

If you don’t care about any of that and just want a very nice display then get a different model coz this is first and foremost a fake out art piece and a good, but not excellent TV.

This is an overall positive review of the 2020 Frame TV, but it should be said up-front that you should buy through a retailer with a good return policy in case you get a problematic unit. You should also be prepared to figure out any issues on your own and be comfortable determining what is a manufacturing defect, what is a software bug (that may be fixed in an upcoming firmware update), what is a limitation of the product, and what is non-intuitive design.

I have found the support team to be inaccurate and/or unhelpful through multiple encounters over my first month with The Frame. Also, beware of the claims/offerings on this Samsung product page as it appears that some items may only be available if you purchase directly from Samsung (even though they are not marked as such).

For example, the free 3-month subscription to the Art Store that is offered on this page. I only received a 1-month subscription during sign-up, and after contacting both Support and Promotions, I was first told that the 3-month subscription did not apply to my model number (although the offer is clearly noted on the product page for my specific model, which I pointed out to the service rep), then I was told that it only applied to units purchased directly from Samsung.

OK, with that out of the way, on to the review: Phenomenal form factor and included equipment. Yes, it’s a premium price above other TVs with similar picture quality, but the picture frame housing, No-gap wall mount, OneConnect Box and Art Mode make it more than worth it.

I was able to get a 65″ screen to blend into the great room without making it look like a sports bar or a home theater. Art Mode is a game-changer and transforms a black hole on the wall into a decorative focal point.

Seems to work best in daytime or a well-lighted room with bolder/darker colored images. Doesn’t work well in a dimmer room. Hoping that a firmware update provides additional granularity in brightness settings and that the light sensor automatic adjustment improves.

Until then, I’ve been using the SmartThings App to manually adjust. At the right setting, it really looks like a picture on the wall. Easy to install and level with the included No-Gap wall mount. The included wall anchors are not good and don’t hold.

They are different from some of the installation videos I’ve seen. Get toggle bolts from your hardware store for the screws that go into the drywall instead of a stud. Love the OneConnect Box and only having to run one thin cable to the TV for power and all connections.

Setup and configuration were relatively easy although the SmartThings app froze in the middle and I had to complete setup with the remote. Settings out-of-the-box were surprisingly good. Turned off all the “Intelligent” options.

Using the Movie setting and Warm 2 color options for all inputs. I have the Eco light sensor on and set Minimum Brightness to 15 for TV viewing, but turn it off for HDR Blu-ray and Streaming. You can save different settings for each input, which is nice.

Very good picture. Narrow optimal viewing angle, but still enjoyable for the entire room. Does a very good job upscaling HDTV from the cable box, especially after turning image-smoothing on and bumping the color from the default of 25 to 35.

4K movies (streaming and via 4K Blu-ray) have a significant wow-factor. Even with some software annoyances from buying a just-released TV (hoping they soon get fixed via firmware updates), I can’t imagine replacing it with a different model.

No regrets so far.

this is a great tv & adds a very nice touch to the decor of a room with the ‘art’ that is displayed when off. you really don’t notice it as a television. that is the good. the bad is that these frame tv’s have a very bad history of breaking.

the screen part on the wall goes bad on these units within 1-3 years. mine did it at the 24th month of service with light use. speculation that there are heat issues with them that causes this. an easy way to confirm this is to go out to ebay and search for “samsung oneconnect box” and look at all the boxes with no screen that are for sale.

many of them are brand new b/c only the screen needed replacement. buyer beware.

Unbelievably this TV does not have a 3. 5mm socket for headphones or a powered speaker. I did not think for a minute that any TV would not have such a cheap component included in its specs. Given the poor sound on TVs nowadays, surely the ability to simply connect a speaker is absolutely necessary.

I rather feel like the bloke who purchased a horse with three legs. The remote on this TV is terrible. Too many buttons, all of which are too small. Moreover, everyone knows that certain controls are used far more than others, yet on this TV those controls are precisely the most difficult to use.

Oddly I bought this TV to replace a much older Samsung TV which had a perfectly good remote, with easy to use controls, so I really can’t understand why this TV is so retrograde in this respect.

I bought this TV last March for my guest room. Unfortunately with pandemic situation, they never came to visit (they live in USA and I live in Canada). I decided to use this TV for my own bedrrom. I tried to use the smart view in order to watch my Bell Fibe TV programs but it never worked.

I called Samsung TV support who told me this was more of an issue with my Samsung mobile products (Tablet and Mobile phone). So I called the Samsung mobile departement who concluded of a potential incompatibility with the TV.

Thing is, I have a 60 inch TV and the smart view works fine (with both mobile products). They suggested to reconfigure/reinitialize all my mobile products (you lose all your info). So seeing all the trouble I am having with this TV, I DO NOT recommand this one to anyone thinking in using smart view instead of a streaming device.

Too bad since the images a very nice for a small TV. I could return the TV to Costco no problem if only I was not strictly conefined due to my cancer treatments! (And NO ONE will want to wait in those infinite line ups to return it in my name).

So I will try with a Fire stick in hope this will work better!.

I bought this tv for a room which will have children & teenager’s stay overnight in. One of the main things I needed was to be able to mount it on a wall. Unfortunately although this does have the holes it doesn’t have anything to attach it with.

No screws that fit or any connections to fit it. I’ve bought numerous tv’s over the years & never once had this problem. I’ve even wasted monies on screws from Amazon which the instructions suggest are the correct ones.

They weren’t. Frustrating isn’t the word.

I’ve been looking at TVs for a while and this one sounded great, but could find no mention of Freeview. After reading many (very positive) reviews I did finally find one where they said it does indeed come with Freeview via and aerial, so I bought it straight away.

As is the current trend with TV stands, the feet are wide apart, so a problem for me as it would be sitting on top my HiFi stand, but no problem as there are plenty of after market solutions, albeit annoying to have to spend out more money.

Back to the TV. I have a Samsung account and it uses this (if you have one) to set everything up via you phone, but this can be done manually. Didn’t take long to be up and running and the picture is lush with very acceptable sound (for a 32″ TV at bedroom volume levels).

I previously had a 32″ Panasonic which was 11 years old but had a horrible buzz on bright pictures, but this TV is completely quiet, result! Overall I’m very happy. The bezel in reality is a little wider than all the promotional photos but not a problem.

It comes with all the apps you might want and extra channels too so you’re spoilt for choice. My first Samsung TV after many years as a Sony fanboy.

WiFi, freeview tuning is superb, Samsung TV plus was unexpected and works a treat on a canal narrowboat. Sound quality is great, picture quality is stunning even on std definition tv, move to a hd channel or hdmi and it’s incredibly impressive.

My viewing distance from seat to tv is approximately 2 metres from one side of the boat to the other and just cannot believe the overall quality. Samsung TV Plus offer’s loads of channels beyond freeview via WiFi and only need a reasonable signal to make the magic happen.

Don’t have high speed broadband on the boat but a SIM card router with mimo external antenna and external tv antenna gives me all I need. I live onboard in very rural areas and the Samsung tv outperforms several other modern televisions I have used, I’d love to experience the sound bar have the whole experience but pennies say I’ll have to wait a while.

There are loads of tvs out there but price point and features are beyond belief on this piece of electronic magic. Well done designer’s.

Its a ‘smart tv’ but with so many unremovable apps built in there’s barely enough room to add any new apps (not that the app library has much to choose from). There is no screensaver options. Picture quality is good except there is some kind of dynamic brightness feature which is very jarring on certain shows and seems impossible to disable.

The DLNA interface to our media library feels crippled – painfully slow to use, no options to change view or file order. Not even a shuffle mode for playing music. There’s no apparent way to select files to create a playlist.

And the fact that it feels like Sasmung have intentionally removed or limited any ‘smart’ features makes me feel like Samsung have no repect for their customers. Sound sucked too – had to buy a soundbar (TV didn’t recognise recognise our home stereo amp).

This television is amazing, and so worth the price you pay for it. The quality is amazing, the HD is incredible, and on top of it, it’s a Smart TV. I can watch all my favorite shows and movie and stream from the internet, use Netflix, Hulu, on demand- All of it.

And it works fast. I’d recommend!.

I love this smart TV I got! It’s super easy to navigate from TV to Netflix or whatever other apps you have on it. It’s much better than the regular Samsung that I have. It definitely met my expectations.

I preferably use my monitor for watching movies, PPV’s, work, and school. Work and school more importantly. The overall is experience is great but the monitor does lag and glitch in certain areas where I would like it to improve on.

I’ll mention it from the area I’ve been troubled with the most to the area where I beleive connections seem to be the problem. (1)Microsoft (MS) Word does a lot of glitching when I type. I am not sure if this is the case with other MS applications but I’ve been working around it with my other devices.

Due note that I use a Bluetooth (BT) keyboard but the issue does to be the same on other devices) (2)There is a bad & noticeable lag at the start up when opening and operating the menus in moving through applications or settings etc.

This lag slowly fades away as the moniter adjust. (3)My BT mouse appears on the list of BT connection for the monitor but does not pair. My 3 keyboards don’t seem to have this problem (nor do my other devices when connected vai BT) as they connect with no issue.

There is also a small lag with the BT mouse through DEX. I am not very concern about it as the finger pad DEX uses through devices has no latency. (4)Websites are very small & hard to work with when connected on DEX.

My tab doesn’t have this issue. In general I really enjoyed the monitor as it provides me with the entertainment I need & more. All the functions I need for productivity are there & can be even greater if these technicalities weren’t yielding.

So i bought this because I wanted a monitor to connect my xbox to it and this was perfect because when I’m done gaming I can just just watch some shows on it just like my tv. I love the 32 inch size, the fact the its 4k and that it’s smart.

Iconnected it to my alexa devices and now I can control it with my voice. Its great for gaming too and as a regular computer monitor. I have a mini pc that I hooked up to it which is amazing. So i basically have a tv, computer and gaming monitor all in one which i so awesome! Would definitely recommend getting this especially if you’re limited on space and can’t fit a tv.

Bonus fact is that its more portable than a tv so if you have to pack up and go somewhere you can being it with you and watch your shows, do some work or have fun and game a little. This really is the best, plus its samsung so you know its top tier quality.

Most of the stuff I own are samsung. A samsung phone, tv, computer monitor, sound bar, chromebook, earphones, watch, laptop, now they just need to make a samsung smart glasses and I will be all set! Seriously buy this thing because you don’t want to be missing out on something that is this great and the price is really good too which is a bonus.

Basically if you’re looking for a really good quality monitor, look no further than the m series smart monitors from samsung. Im even thinking about getting a second monitor for my gaming set up which would be really awesome so I can use one to game and one to stream my shows!!.

This Samsung Samsung – AM702 Series 32” monitor has a detailed 4K picture in addition to TV streaming functions like Netflix and YouTube. We both have Samsung phones and with the Samsung app we are able to mirror our phones; it also has various connections with USB-C or HDMI.

I have this in a very well lit windowed room; the anti-glare is great. We compared it to our wonderful 1080P 32” TV with the same cable TV feed and this Samsung AM702 is the clear winner in terms of picture clarity.

We connected a Chromecast device and YouTube is clearer and more detailed than we have ever seen from our 32” 1080p TV. The 65w USB-C port is a wonderful feature to have in monitors at this price. It easily charges up both our phones and a 12 inch Samsung tablet with a huge battery fast.

This TV is great we have had it since black Friday. We got it for a great price and I love it. We haven’t had any issues and our ROKU and Amazon Fire stick work great with it. It is better than the smaller Vizio we have based on picture and sound.

I would recommend this to someone else.
