I have purchased Ecco, New Balance, Nike Adidas, Hoka one one. Desperately looking to reduce my continual foot and leg pain. Every new pair of shoes I purchased helped a little none of them have eliminated my pain as much as OrthoFeet shoes have.
I even have 0 pain days using these shoes. I had an experience where I was wearing a different shoe for the day by the end of the day my feet and legs were killing me. I put my OrthoFeet shoes back on and immediately 80% of the pain was gone.
I also noticed on my Colorado trip to Estes Park walking on trails and rocky roads they work great kept the pain away. Keep up the good work on the shoes. FYI I now have 2 pairs of the Ranger shoes think about buying a third pair for dress shoes.
I forgot to mention how easy they are to put on with the zip backs love that feature.
These shoes changed my thoughts on footwear entirely. They’re so comfortable and actually feel more stable than anything I’ve ever worn. If I had to describe it I would say your feet sit IN the shoes instead of ON the shoes.
They feel wider and more stable at the base. Its hard to describe but once you put them on very easy to understand. I broke the zipper tab off one the first shoes I ordered. I called the number that google provided me while driving across town and my call was immediately answered a girl who looked up my order by using my phone number and had a new pair of shes sent out by the time I reached my next stop.
Now that’s service! I am so impressed by this company that I tell everyone who will listen to try these shoes out, they will change your whole outlook on shoes and restore your faith in the term customer service!.
I was excited to receive these boots today. Unfortunately, the AFO brace I wear was difficult to get into the boot (with the zippers down and laces loosened) and when zipped, the brace pressed against one of the zippers, making it likely the zipper would be broken by this pressure.
It was also difficult to get my left foot into the boot because I have drop-foot and the opening between the tongue of the show and the brace is small, even after unzipping the back and loosening all the laces.
I have no way to curl my toes upward to slip my foot in, as required for such a steep angle. However, once the boot was on, it seemed comfortable with my insoles and the sole of the boot was flexible and cushioned.
I do not recommend this shoe for anyone with an AFO.
Get a work boot you can depend on. This women s boot features cement construction with a Carhartt Rugged-Flex outsole. An EVA midsole and polyurethane pads provide cushion and flexibility to make you feel comfortable while getting through those long work days.
It nicely accommodates you every time you bend, crouch, reach, lift, or haul. When things get slippery, you’ll appreciate its oil and chemical-slip resistance. This comfortable work boot also has safety features to protect against contact with electrical circuits to meet ASTM safety standards.
And don t forget the Carhartt Rugged-Flex 6 CT includes a composite safety toe and the aggressive sole in order to tackle any terrain.
It’s a bit early on to give a review for these boots, but I’ll share what I know so far. They are very comfortable in some ways, and extremely uncomfortable in others. There is wonderful support and cushion in the sole.
The toe is generous (but almost resembles clown shoes toes). They are true to size – I did not find them to run narrow contrary to other reviews. The place where the tongue of the shoe separates from the body of the show is *extremely painful* to the top/sides of my feet.
It seems like there is too much extra material to give flexibility to the tongue, and it folds over into a very, rock hard knot of material. I do not like it. Also, the ankle opening for these boots is massive.
I can’t even get it close to closing around my ankles. So if you’re cleaning out a horse stall with lots of shavings, you will fill your boots with them. Unfortunately, the only way to really feel shoes is to wear them.
So my boots are no longer in new condition, otherwise I would definitely return them. Buyer beware. *I did not rate durability because I have no idea how these boots will wear. I’ve only had them for about a week.
I have been wearing carhartt boots for the last 15 years and these were not designed well. I always wear 10. 5 wide. The way the tongue is sewn your foot has to be much skinnier and shorter to comfortably get your foot in.
By time I could force my foot through which was actually quite painful with my neuropathy my socks were pulled up so bad they were forced in between my toes. Took about 10 steps and it was extremely uncomfortable.
They did not seem like wide foot boots. My 6 inch rugged flex with composite toes are comfortable from the first time put them on. I was looking for some more ankle support with these 8 inch but it was a horrible fit for my feet.
It’s like you need a 9inch regular-not wide foot to fit into these 10. 5 wides. Needs a bigger opening to get your foot in and make them wider.
These men’s work boots focus on comfort and performance with leather that’s better than the rest. These Georgia Boots can be worn on the farm, casually around town, or to your jobsite. Wherever you choose to wear them, you’ll appreciate the footwear’s SPR leather; it has 3 times the strength and is able to resist abrasions 2 1⁄2 times better than traditional leathers.
It’s also unaffected by caustic chemicals and barnyard acids. The interior is built with features that make sure your feet are comfortable. These wedge boots are lined in leather that feels smooth to the touch.
There’s also a cushioned insole that provides comfort with each step. A steel shank gives you steady footing and arch support. These men’s work boots have Goodyear welt construction; it enhances their strength and durability, as well as allowing you to have the outsole repaired once it starts to wear down.
The Poly Wedge ULTRA outsole provides great cushioning and flexibility. Combine these attributes with the outsole’s ability to resist chemicals and oils, and you’re wearing great work boots. If you’ve been looking for tough, comfortable work boots, these six-inch Georgia Boot Wedge Work Boots are the right choice for you!.
Overall a decent boot. The leather is very nice and supple. And a solid feeling boot. However, the insole is sewn into the boot and its not a good insole. These are work boots. I stand all day. I should be able to change out the insoles to fit my needs.
If i had known before purchasing that i couldnt change the insole out at all then i wouldnt have bought these. One other complaint i have is that the little bit of traction grooves cut into the sole are super shallow.
If it werent for those two issues, this would be a 5 star boot all the way and probably the only boot i would buy.
I have been buying Georgia boots twice a year for many years. This time I brought the straight from Georgia boots and the inside of the boot cushion normality is nice and thick smooth. This time the cushion seemed like someone has already wore the shoes, both cushions had indentation in them, and they hurt my feet.
I am going to have to buy some cushion for them. 180. 00 dollars shoe should not hurt the bottom of your feet. I am thinking about staying away from Georgia next time I need boots, The bad thing about this is I loved these boots I could always count on them.
I bought this pair of boots after lengthy and expensive search for boots that would ease Plantar Fasciitis. After three attempts failed, I gave these a try and they were the most comfortable well fitting of the bunch.
Working on concrete floors and running around pallets stretch wrapping loads like a circus monkey act. I thought I was gonna half to move on to another less foot pounding job. These boots cut down the pain by more than half and allowed me to keep up the pace.
They didn’t even need a break in period. I’m gonna get the soles replaced and wear ’em another ten years. Can’t go wrong with these Babies.
A great everyday boot with great everyday protection, built to be worn on any job and provide great comfort. Storm Defender is a waterproof breathable membrane that keeps your feet dry and promotes airflow.
This boot is constructed with brown oil tanned leather, Goodyear welt construction and Carhartt rubber outsole, PU strobel pad with PU cushion insoles. Meets electrical hazard rating ASTM F289-11 EH.
Since 1889, Carhartt has manufactured premium workwear known for exceptional durability, comfort and quality that you can feel in the materials and see in the performance. Just as our founder, Hamilton Carhartt, began four generations ago, Carhartt will continue to manufacture the most rugged and durable clothing and footwear for generations to come.
Carhartt is proud to serve a variety of workers in many industries including construction and manufacturing along with farmers, ranchers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
I returned a pair of Irish Setter Ashby from same store since after 70 days since thin bottom sole started coming off and bought these instead. Now less than 14 days later the outer sole of these boots are terribly soft and will not hold up to any kind of work whether it be shoveling (as in using your feet to dig the shovel into soil, literally only edging some sod along a curb as created course in sole).
Otherwise the boot is comfortable and the inner sole with the Carhartt logos seem to be holding up just fine. I’m not to rough on my boots, how rough can ya be when you work on a golf course and mainly mow turf but there are times when using a shovel is part of your job.
Lastly the Ashby’s I mentioned earlier didn’t have the gouging issue after 3 times as much shoveling work.
Was hesitant about this boot at first! Seemed pretty narrow and the steel toe felt weird on one side. I looked up several ideas on youtube to break them in, and thick socks were the answer! It didn’t take long to break in and they are very comfortable I’m on my feet all day in freezers and coolers and am not cold on my feet.
I have the cowboy style black carhartt boot and had to size down quite a bit. I’m normally a 7. 5 womens or mens 6, and I bought a size 7 in these based on my other boots. Fit great and am satisfied pain free! Also they are well made and look awesome everyone compliments me on them :).
I bought the pair of black Carhartt boots for my wife. She had wanted the for awhile but I couldn’t locate them anywhere in her size. I was delighted to find them on the Moosejaw site which I happened to find out of pure chance.
I had never heard of Moosejaw and after searching through the entire supply of different manufacturers – not only did I find the boots for my wife but I found a number of things I had also been searching for but unable to find.
I will be a future Moosejaw customer, the styles, sizes, and selection of such a wide variety of items will bring me to this website before I search any others for the products I need.
Timberland Pro is a highly sought after workwear brand known for their craftsmanship, quality, and superb product designs. These full-grain leather boots feature a anti-microbial mesh linings, cement construction, and cast-metal hardware.
Keep your feet protected and comfortable in these work boots.
I’ve had these boots for about a year now and the soles have almost completely fallen off. I would have hoped that for the price they would have lasted much longer, especially considering they’ve not really been put through much.
I work a desk job at an engineering company so I needed them for when I’m around the site and on the shop floor. But most of the time I’m just work them at my desk. So yeah, pretty disappointed, and I don’t think they’re worth the money personally.
Pros: I would say that the rest of the shoe has been fine, they’re easy to clean, have great ankle support, they’re comfortable once broken in and they don’t make your feet stink after a long day. Cons: They’re a bit on the heavy side, even for a safety boot.
Obviously the sole hasn’t lasted even a year either, the whole sole has detached from the boot and can’t be glued back on.
These boots look like your typical combat fashion boots with added safety features. I got this pair as my “summer” boots for a construction site where I walk a lot and work as a coordinator (I don’t do heavy labour).
Boot details I like: weight is okay, the wide selection is spacious-enough, feet stay relatively dry and not too hot, and so far, quality is good. (Note: if you are looking for winter boots, I STRONGLY recommend the Timberland PRO Endurance, which are more comfortable than any other Timberlands I’ve had.
They are shaped more round (and not “almond toe” like these boots I’m reviewing) and have anti-fatigue tech. That act like a cushion, to keep feet happier for longer).
These were comfy right out of the box. The boot is clearly high quality in person. I was very satisfied, would’ve liked to see how they held up over time. However, I returned these because the fit was true to size and I ordered up half a size.
Also, I needed a steel toe boot for work and mistakenly ordered this style. I am now very happy with the new ones I ordered after I received a prompt email response from customer service. Return was easy as pie and completely free to me.
The Carhartt 4″ Wedge Boot’s are Comfortable and Durable, to say the least. The FastDry Technology will wick away sweat throughout the day to ensure your feel stay cool. They come equipped with a brown oil tanned leather upper and a comfortable cushioned insole that provides lightweight comfort all day long.
I am a commercial roofing inspector and have a landscaping company, so I am pretty hard on boots. I have not come across a pair of boots that can last more than one year. The last 7-8 years I get a new brand every time in hopes to find light, comfortable boots.
I have had just about every brand you can think of from lace ups to pull ons. I decided to give these Carhart’s a try and i will never go back. These boots are light, breathable, extremely comfortable and still give lots of support! I have basically torture tested these and aside from the laces starting to fray at the ends have zero complaints.
The boot fits as expected among common sizes. It is easy on the feet, lightweight but with good ankle coverage. The leather is thin compared to most work boots but makes for easy working and walking.
the sole is lightweight but not like a tennis shoe. About like an old combat boot sole. Very much worth the money. I put a cushion sole insert to give it a little comfort. I tried them on in the store but TSC cant keep them in stock in common sizes.
Cowboy style with long lasting comfort. When a quick job turns into an all day affair, your feet will be begging for the 11″ Hybred Square Toe WP. On the inside, Justin has added their foot stabilization technology, which uses dual density medical memory foam to stabilize the foot while still allowing it to move as needed.
A sturdy heel and instep further increase stabilization while an additional foam instep in the ball area absorbs shock. Working with the Justin Stabilization Technology, the J-Flex Flexible Comfort System offers broken-in comfort right out of the box.
This system features cushioned, leather-covered insoles and triple-density insole boards for generating energy return and reducing fatigue from working on your feet all day. Waterproof bootie construction keeps rain, mud and muck at bay so feet stay dry no matter what the conditions.
These boots are not what they used to be bought the first pair for my son In Nov , the heel came off in the first month or two,got replacement pair and the left boot fit the right one did not he could not even get it on.
The liner inside the boot was loose. We had to return that pair as well. Which took forever it was more than a two week return. I will take him to the store to purchase boots in the future.
The boot had fit me fine at the store, but not much padding in it and since I’m walking on concrete all day, I need good support. I bought some insole while I was there. I cut them out and placed them in the boot.
When I put the boots back on and walking in them to break them in, they are now too tight on the top due to the added cushion. Hopefully they will break in and loosen up as I wear them, but the overall boot, I’m very happy with.
I bought the boots size 10. 5, got home and was “new boot Goofin” workin on the truck. The guy next door came over and said “wow look at those boots!” as i was showing them off we noticed that I’m wearing 2 different boots! one was yellowish and the other was brown.
IDK if the employees switched them up in the store or what was going on. So with that being said don’t just try on one boot at the store, look at them both before buying.
Rocky? MobiLite Waterproof Work Boots are comfortable, durable and keep your feet dry. Your feet remain dry regardless of how damp the settings are or the varying weather conditions because the footwear has Rocky waterproof construction.
Underneath your feet, the polyurethane footbed is the source of cushioning and support. The men’s work boots have a smooth leather upper and a wide oblique toe box design. The heel counter stabilizes your heel within the boots; with this, you won’t have to worry about your heel constantly sliding as you walk.
The padded collar provides additional comfort. The EVA midsole of the waterproof boots is comfortable, distributing the weight that you press down and providing additional cushioning. On the bottom, the MobiLite outsole is lightweight, durable and comfortable for standing all day.
It’s also oil-resistant and slip-resistant. These Rocky MobiLite comfortable work boots are waterproof, durable and lightweight. So, if you need new work footwear, these men’s boots are a great choice for you!.
Less than 2 months of use. I have owned 3 pairs of these steel toe boots. NO problems at all. Still have two of them as back up boots. Plastic vynal upper on the back of boot tore away from the lower leather boot.
I tested the fabric and it tore apart with my fingers with no effort. Leather lower solid, but the material used on upper does not match the strength of the lower. It is impossible for it to stand up to the test.
If I didn’t bend over and walk up and down ladders it might have lasted longer than two months. With this poof of quality of material they probably wouldn’t last much more than 6 months without the upper breaking down.
Don’t buy this boot if you expect it to be for hard work. Need to step up your game. Your chat guy didn’t expect exchanging would make a difference.
I have worn these boots for almost 3 years now, and I’m on my sixth pair. I love the way they fit with the wide toe, and they are super comfy. Problem I have is the souls are way too thin. I can feel rocks, and debris through the souls.
It is also why I have to purchase 2 pairs a year. I wear through the souls. Obviously I keep buying them as they are the only boot I have ever been able to find that doesn’t squish my toes. I simply wish they made the boot with a heavier soul and not as a light weight work boot.
This is about the 5th pair of these boots I have bought. They fit my wide feet with no problems, straight out of the box comfortable. The boots stay waterproof for at least a year of constant use outdoors.
I do spray them with silicon spray about every 4 months to help. Great boots, please do not change them or discontinue them!.

received this item from the Walmart Spark Review Program for no compensation – just an honest and unbiased review. Thank you!! EVER BOOTS “Tank” Men’s Soft Toe Oil Full Grain Leather Work/Construction Boots, come in either light tan or like mine Dark Brown colors.
Feature 2. 0mm Full Grain Nubuck Leather uppers, with a rubber slip resistant goodyear welt sole. Durable and longlasting wear with a 3-month manufacture warranty that most rivals don’t match. Leather grab hooks on backs of boots assist in taking these supple boots on and off.
Runs a tad bigger than timerland or caterpillar boots – maybe by a ½ size bigger – so – adjust your order accordingly. Insole is removable and sufficiently padded for comfort. Light insulated mesh lining inside boot keeps feet warm and comfortable (not for extreme cold weather/temperature usage).
Ergonomically designed for the arch of each foot to assure anti-fatigue nature of this footwear. Broken-in leather uppers don’t require any breaking-in period and will reduce or eliminate the blisters that most new boots give you until they have been worn awhile.
Finish on the exterior leather of these EVER BOOTS will prevent oil deterioration and staining to keep them looking new and great for a while to come. Also great for hiking, hunting, and other outdoor yard work.
Not water resistant or waterproof. Not steel toed, either. Approximately 6” in height. Very comfortable immediately out of the box, and really a sharp looking pair of boots that are a pleasure to wear a full day of work without any discomfort!.
As a trades person who stands all day long, it is imperative that I have heavy duty footwear-not only for comfort, but for safety as well. Since I had to take my crusty trusty regular boots to be resoled, I needed another pair STAT.
I tried them on after work, when my feet are in their swollen, angriest state. Did I mention I have bunions the size of Montana? So, I popped these babies on and took them on a test run. NO PAIN. They’re stiff, as is to be expected, but not TOO stiff.
The toe box is nice and wide and flexes well right out of the box. AND THEY HAVE A DECENT INSOLE. That’s right, no flimsy crappy liner, they come with a real insole. Anywaaay, I wore them to work today.
They were comfortable all day, and they aren’t heavy, so your legs and ankles aren’t fatigued at the end of the day. If you need a decent pair of boots for work, try these. I always use extra insoles because I’m old and my feet are shot, but the ones that come with the boots seem adequate.
Weather is only one of the hazards on the farm. These 6-inch boots deliver weather protection and impact resistance for everyday wear. A reinforced heel works with the Achilles flex joint for impact resistance and a natural range of motion.
A waterproof-breathable membrane keeps your feet warm and dry in all weather while a durable rubber tread sheds mud and holds firm on slippery ground.
Switched from Wolverine to CE Schmidt’s to these and won’t be going back to the other two. So far these are very comfortable and flexible. I work in home remodeling so from roof work to erecting walls I am putting these to the test.
I saw a lot of complaints from people saying they don’t last awhile so this is just my first month into them review. I will post another one mid year. If you are a worker boots should last you more than a year and some change anyway.
I work a solid 12 hr day 6 days a week and I honestly love the feel. The boot size seemed to fit me just fine. I have some wiggle room for my toes and they are firm on the sides of my wide feet (8. 5W) yes I know I have tiny feet.
I did coat these with protective spray like I do with all my workout gear and work gear, it did change the color a little bit of a darker brown, but last I checked I got these for work not a fashion show.
The laces are meeeeh…very thin but they seem strong, chances are I will be switching to 550 once they break. I would tell anyone to pick them up.
I have to say, I love these boots! I usually wear 8″ logger boots for heavy work, but I wanted a 6″ pair that I could wear for Summer with thinner crew type socks rather than Ragg wool socks with a liner.
I wear Carhartt everything else, so I thought I would try their boots. These boots are easy to put on and take off. There was no break-in period at all and they were very comfortable right out of the box.
They aren’t as heavy as the 8″, so I hardly notice them. The heel and ankle guards offer support and the steel toe offers protection without cramping in the toe box. Somehow I got the perfect size without having to try on Carhartts at a store.
I was especially worried about this, even though I used the Carhartt sizing guide. I wear 11½W in Chippewa, 9½ in Converse, and 11 in Puma [I used the Nike brand for this size with the guide]. The guide recommended a 10½M and it was perfect! I’ve only worn these for a month so have no issues with break down of the soles, as others have noted.
I think Carhartt hit this one out of the park. Highly recommend!.
The online sizing guide told me to get 10. 5/medium. They were PAINFULLY tight. I wore them indoors for a couple days thinking they might “break in”. That didn’t help at all and I ended up with bruises.
I returned them for an in-store credit and immediately ordered the same boots in 11/wide. They really are great looking boots, and I expect the replacements to fit perfectly. Do yourself a favor and order a 1/2 size larger.
Full-grain leather. 6″ lace-up boots. Mesh lining. Cushioned footbed. Waterproof. ASTM F2413 protective toe/electrical hazard protection. Oil, slip resisting, and non-marking rubber outsole. Made in the USA with global parts.
I just got my second pair of these. I’m really hard on boots, I’m a general contractor that has a homestead, I wear them from the time I get up to the time I go to bed. I even walk my dogs before/after work in these boots.
I’ve tried every kind of boots from cheap Walmart boots, dickies, red wings, Irish setters, and a couple off brands. These are the best. They’re waterproof, electrical hazard rated, flexible, and surprisingly durable while still being light weight.
I was skeptical of the bellow/flexible rubber, thought it would wear out quickly but I have two torn meniscus, so I need flexible light weight boots that will waterproof but not compromise protection.
I’ve literally walked thousands of miles in these boots. I easily walk 10-15 miles a day, between concrete, mud, dirt, various roofing materials, and even the odd lake or stream. 6 days a week for over a year and a half.
8/12/2020-4/13/2022 between pairs. I did have to get them resoled after about a year, but they held up another 6-8 months after that. Even now the rubber is torn and the leather is finally giving out, but they still keep my feet dry.
I’ve watched hours of testing on YouTube trying different brands of boots. “Project farm” has a great impartial unsponsored video on keen vs red wing vs other brands. Go look for yourself. He tested the electrical resistance, impact rating, heat resistance, and the like.
Keen out performed every other brand. I will be buying these boots until they stop making them. American made is a giant plus as well.
Any boot is comfortable with proper insoles! Support your spine and avoid fatigue! Get insoles! I’ve been doing carpentry and general contracting through various commercial and residential job sites.
over the last 15 years i’ve gone through Merrel’s and various hiking style work shoes. I settled on the pittsburg but over time, they lost support and got squishy. The portland boot has held up for the last 8 months being worn 7 days a week 12-14 hrs per day.
I wear them all day plus after i get home from work. typically i wear through the treads in about 10 months. that is standard for me in any boot i buy. The portland boot is continuing to provide firm support in my ankle area.
Wear points have been greatly reduced compared to pittsburg in the area behind toe where it flexes. The ribbed rubber flex part on the portland is a game changer compared to leather or other nylon material.
Carolina CA3026 Soft Toe Mens Work-Dark Brown This tough, durable waterproof work boot features a non-steel toe with a slip resistant outsole. It has a removable EVA footbed, cement construction, and a rubber outsole.
Theyre extremely comfortable and lightweight yet durable, rugged, and long lasting.
I bought these for my husband because he blows through shoes so fast and has too big of a shoe size to shop in store. So far they have lasted through rain, snow, and miles and miles of walking without hurting his feet, so i call that a win! They were a little long for him but not so much his feet are sliding around.
Would recommend oiling the boots first thing as they are a bit brittle out of the box. I will definitely buy these again when he eventually puts holes in these too!.
The boot is well constructed, nice appearance, however, after a days’ wearing, I had blisters on my heels and the outside bottom of my ankle bones, both sides, were rubbed raw. I’m a lineman for a utility company and I was hoping to wear these when I was doing installations & would not need the high-top safety boots I normally wear when climbing poles.
I cannot return as I wore them and the money spent, $100 + went out the door.
These seem to be well made and look great but, similar to other Carolina steel toe boots I have purchased in the past, they run decidedly narrow compared to what they are labeled. I had to send these back.
I have a pair of Wellington boots from Carolina with a composite toe that I can tolerate for short periods since they are by design a looser style of boot but even those I don’t want to wear for very long.
I wear an 11 1/2 wide and ordered that size but it didn’t fit comfortably. It was disappointing to send them back because they are otherwise a great value for the price.

The Valsetz RTS 1. 5 is lightweight and very comfortable. The boot does come up a little small so I ordered half a size larger than my runners which was perfect. I have used the boot in urban and rural setting and find the grip to be good on all surfaces tried (Concrete, Bitumen, Gravel, Sand and Rock).
The the heat of the Australian summer the Valsetz have been comfortable and not too hot to wear. For the price these boots are great but they do not last very long in the conditions I am in. These are my second pair replacing the first after just 6 months of daily wear.
My original pair continued to be comfortable but did loose ankle support towards the end of month 6, the tread is only shallow so this also wore down within the 6 months. These are a good boot for occasional use or for a short term application.
I purchased these for my role as GM of a sporting association, and they are much more practical than RM Williams boots, while still looking professional. Extremely comfortable, very lightweight and great looking, even under reasonably slim fitting chinos.
I have even recommended these to my friends in retail (if the employer permits) for their comfort and durability. Awesome boot!.
The lightweight Wolverine Men’s Bandit Waterproof 6″ Boot features Wolverine Multishox with rubber pads for comfort. The boot provides arch support and cradles the heel so that it’s held in place throughout the day.
Features include a premium waterproof full-grain leather upper, and a breathable waterproof membrane with moisture wicking mesh to keep feet cool.
These boots were so comfortable right out of the box but the soles came apart after only a few months of normal wearing. This is the second pair in less than a year. When it happened to the first pair I thought is was just a bad shoe but it has happened again with the second pair in both soles.
Called customer service and they said to take them back to where I purchased them and they weren’t aware of any problems with the soles. The customer reviews on here seem to tell a different story. I’ll be purchasing from a competitor now!.
Great pair of boots. My only complaint would be the shoe strings they used. I can tell I will have to replace them sooner than later, as they’re not as thick & strong as I’ve had on other wolverine boots.
Other than that , they Were comfortable from the start. Didn’t seem to have the “break in” period that previous boots have had. The reinforced toe is hardly noticeable like the old steal toes were. The waterproofing & no slip works great on them & the sole is very strong & supportive if your on your feet all day.
I’ve been buying wolverines since the late 1980’s & these so far, are definitely at the top of the list of work boots I’ve had over the years. Highly recommend!.
I don’t know where the bad reviews on here are coming from but if their boots last 6 months or aren’t comfortable, there misusing them. I only buy Wolverine dura or multishox’s cause it’s the absolute only boot that doesn’t hurt my back.
I love them and have for almost 20 years. I did very hard labor construction and I could go 6-7 years between buying new boots. Although I do wish they would put a higher quality boot string in the boot.
Every pair I buy, within 1 month I’m having to go buy boot strings. I just bought a pair 3 weeks ago and today I’m going to get boot strings. For the price of these boots seems y’all could put a decent boot string in them.

An internal XRD performance material met guard is lightweight and flexible, making it very comfortable. Meeting ASTM requirements, this met guard immediately hardens upon impact, helping to protect the tops of feet.
A composite safety toe also meets ASTM standards and this boot is electrical hazard-resisting. This 6-inch brown leather safety hiker has the comfort features you need in a work boot. It is waterproof and cushions in all the right places.
A Storm Defender waterproof membrane, in combination with a Fastdry lining, makes the interior of the boot both breathable and dry. And this boot has a very comfortable with a removable foam cushion insole.
A barrier of padding on the tongue and collar helps to protect sensitive tendons and ankles from abrasion and strain. Exterior features contribute to the safety and durability of these work hikers. Reflective piping outlines the highly abrasion-resistant heel panel, helping others to see you in low light conditions.
The same abrasion-resistant material caps the toe of these boots, helping to extending the wear time of these hikers. A Carhartt rubber Rugged Flex outsole provides traction and is abrasion- and slip-resisting.

So good. so far! True test will be in the winter. They’re very comfortable indeed. This is my 1st pair of Carhartt boots, I’ve heard good things about the quality being better than Keen & Merrill to which I’ve bought before & haven’t lasted long.
Fingers crossed & expectations are high these will last longer than the others. If so I’ll be buying Carhartt boots from here on out!.
Solid boot. I work in natural gas and am outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Snow in Idaho and rain over in Oregon and Washington They’ve been great for driving, job site and walking around, and the waterproofing is top notch.
I’ve ridden the Harley a couple times with them in and the met guard is no good for that, protects your foot too much to have good connection with the shifter, but for work, these are great.
This non-safety toed, heavy-duty wedge introduces lightweight comfort into a classic style. The air-infused midsole offers all-day comfort while the EH-rated rubber outsole provides excellent slip-resistance.
I am a welder/mechanic. I had high hopes for these boots. The size was correct, and they fit nicely. These boots are MASSIVE! I wear a size 12 and the keens look like a size 15+ next to my old boots.
I have had these boots for one month and the “leather” on both toes is worn through to the toe reinforcement (no longer waterproof), and most of the stitching is coming loose. After making torch cuts or welding, the slag and sparks actually burned into the “leather” on top of the toe, leaving tiny pockets and holes.
I ordered these back in January, received them in February (due to unexpected backorder), now it’s April and they are trashed. I have gotten more life out of a pair of wolverine boots for $75. I paid $200 for these keens.
I usually don’t write reviews but the life span on these was pretty ridiculous. Please don’t advertise boots as being “designed” for the trades when they are obviously not. Save yourself a headache and stick to the boots you know.
I purchased the keen cincinnati boots with the carbon toe from bass proshop website 2 weeks ago. I had a problem with the carbon toe giving a blister on my big toe in size 11 and took them to my local cabelas to see what i could do.
They had me try on another pair and instantly i knew this pair was better. They let me exchange them with no questions asked and now i am breaking in this new pair. They are comfortable, they fit perfect and look good.
They are a bit on the heavy side but i can get used to it. I just hope they last as long as my other pair of 8 inch, keen coburgs. I have been using those for 2 years and still love them. Keen so far, is the best shoe for me!.
I bought these in Salida and this boot was an unfamiliar brand to me. What a discovery! Instant comfort – no break in time necessary. The quality is top level. i bought them for a work boot but using them with my favorite clothes when I go to town.
They will end up in the corral some day but not until I get to show them off some more!.
It’s a very well constructed boot, designed for work. The best features are that it is comfortable to wear after the break-in time period the soul is flexible and grippy. I believe it has a steel shank because I can feel the strength in the shoe and stability under load.
It also has a Goodyear welt construction and the leather has been waterproofed, all fantastic features. About the only complaint is the break-in because the phone seems to flex and feels lumpy. After you wear the shoe for a few miles the lumpiness goes away under the front portion of your foot.
To get a five-star rating they would need to improve the cushion to make it more of a memory type phone, like Skechers. Skechers, just so that you’re aware, does not build a true work boot so don’t waste your time as I did with them.
This is my first wolverine Boot and I really like it. Very nice fit, finish and durable construction. If it holds up over time I will probably become a wolverine customer. Thanks wolverine!.
I have problems with my Wolverine. In fact, I bought them over a month ago, and I haven’t worn them until now, and I’m still wearing my old boots from another brand. The problem is that when I went to buy them, I only tried on the right boot, and it felt perfect; but this week I decided to wear my new Wolverines, the left boot presses me down and makes my last two toes ache with every step I take.
You can’t walk or work like that. It is impossible. I compressed cardboard inside them, I compressed cloth inside them, and nothing… And I can’t change them at “Dicks” because more than a month has passed, and the receipt has been misplaced.
Now I have a pair of Wolverines that I’m not going to wear… I will never be able to use them, because the left boot was made wrong. 100 dollars wasted.
Light, Versatile and Waterproof, with a burly side, the KEEN Lansing Mid moves with you while delivering stability, support and steel toe protection. Reflectivity from toe to heel for additional safety and visibility.
Great for a variety of job sites, these vented work shoes are made for wearing.
I have one other pair of Keen boots and they are solid as can be. This new black utility boot with steel toe for my job is tough as nails and can take a beating. These Keen products are top notch footwear and comfortable too.
You can wear them all day without any foot pain for discomfort. The best boots I have ever owned. I’ll keep buying them in the future.
I’ve never had a pair of work boots fit like they were made for me before. From the first second I slipped into them. I’ve only had them on a couple days now and truly hope they soften a little, not much shock absorption to speak of.
My husband needed a pair of steel toe shoes for his new job. He is in sales so he didn’t want a boot style. He saw these and decided to try them on. He said they are very comfortable and his feet aren’t tired at the end of the day.
A work boot to support you throughout the word day; The Propet Shield Walker is a Composite toe work boot that with weather-resistant full-grain leather upper. Has a Rigid heel counter with removable footbed.
Features Sealtex? waterproof protection to keep moisture out. The high traction rubber outsole provides durability and stability.
These are a really nice quality boot that I got for $100 with the first time shopper discount. I finally found a boot that fit my wide feet! I tried 3 different “wide” hiking boots on Amazon and returned them all.
My only complaint with these is that the insoles are worse than Chuck Taylor’s! If you have feet that are flat as a board than these insoles will work for you. I, unfortunately, had to spend $29 for a pair of EasyFeet inserts from Amazon.
They are excellent inserts and something that this boot should come with! Ames Walker’s customer service was exc as was their shipping!!.
First of all, I;m a big fan of Propet footwear( I have 3 pairs of Propet boots. ) Now, these shoes are of extremely high quality. They are a little heavy but the leather and the construction are the best.
I’m a senior guy and I find these shoes to be very supportive and extremely comfortable. The soles are rugged but not “clumpy”, and they have good grip on snowy walkways. My recommendation is to buy 1/2 size larger than you normally wear so that you can wear slightly heavier socks.
This was a gift for my grandson who has wide feet. As soon as he put them on he was surprised at how comfortable they were. They were a little challenging for a larger kid to loop the laces but he didn’t care because of the comfort.
The true test will be when the snow hits. Hope they work to prevent slipping too.
There are a few key factors to consider when purchasing boots for standing on concrete. The first is the material of the boot. Leather is going to be the best material for standing on concrete, as it is durable and will hold up against the wear and tear of concrete.
The second factor to consider is the sole of the boot. A thicker sole will provide more support and cushioning, which is important for standing on concrete all day. The last factor to consider is the style of the boot.
A boot with a lower heel will be more comfortable for standing on concrete, as it will put less strain on the feet and ankles.
