20 Best Body Wash To Remove Grease (2022 Updated)

I too have used Suave Coconut Tropical Body Wash for YEARS. I searched high and low before finding it online last year. Even these, if one can find them, are offered for ridiculous prices. I thought I’d look online again, since time has passed.

Imagine my satisfaction at finding it on your website! Alas, only to be disappointed that even though there is a “Buy Now” option, it is nonfunctional. Have you changed your minds yet? Sure, there are multiple Suave body wash options, but not even the Cocoa Butter and Shea comes close to the creaminess and results of the Tropical Coconut we love.

I’ve gone on to try other body washes since none of the remaining Suave products compare. Might I suggest removing the item from your site if you’re not going to offer it? Kinda reminds me of the old ‘bait and switch’.

I have very fussy skin. Rosacea to perfume irritations. This body wash was very lightly scented. It was scented just enough to leave a nice fragrance behind without smelling like flowers or over scented perfumes.

I didn’t have any trouble using this as a daily body wash or even a helper to shave the legs. I don’t care for strong smells and my skin definitely rebels from them so this wash was a nice calming change and I would definitely pick this item up again at my local stores.

I would also like to say that I am thrilled to see that the product was made with no paraben and phthalates and is also listed as Cruelty Free. Sensitive skin is hard enough to deal with so when you take out possible skin irritants for some it really does help.

I’ve always used fancier brands of body wash. However, now everything is so much money in 2022 and I’m looking at ways to save money on literally everything. I needed new body wash and this was on the low end of the price range sold at Target so I took a chance.

This stuff is great! Smells wonderfully, lathered well. Kids also liked it. Can also work as a bubble bath, just not as luxurious as actual bubble bath. Price is good. Only thing that could improve is it’s a little drying on my skin.

Wish it was better at moisturizing.

Recently been buying another so I thought about trying Old Spice again. Purchased Swagger Body Wash and I was very surprised at the lack of lather. Practically no lather at all and the scent didn’t stay with you any longer than other brands.

The discount brand, which was right next to it on the shelf, performed much better. (lather and scent). I expected more and wish they had the Red Zone After Hours Body Wash still available. Seemed to have went downhill since it changed its manufacturing location.

Now I know. Oh well gotta crunch them numbers.

To clarify, I am a female. I am an extremely picky about scents. The only cologne I have liked for my husband is Monte Blanc Legend which is $$$ and not long lasting. I have smelled so many colognes.

I picked the deodorant version for my husband based on the scent and was immediately researching for a body spray or body soap so when I saw this at Target, I did not hesitate. I cannot get enough of smelling this product on him! It’s intoxicating.

I love Captain scent anti-deodrant and body wash. I do wish the body wash had a stronger scent. Old Spice should make a Captain body spray. Give it a strong CAPTAIN scent and make it last OVER 8 hrs.

Tide laundry soap should lease OLD Spices Captain scent. I’D BUY that. I’m sure it would be a grand slam it would make great business sense. $$$$$$$$.

I’ve been having an enormous issue with dry skin lately. I’ve used certain products for YEARS and Ive been a loyalist in that aspect. I’ve been loyal to Oil of Olay face care for years. And with the changing of my skin as Im getting older, Id say its been pretty darn kind! I’d been loyal to another brand of body wash for years- I loved it! We’ve moved to someplace very dry and hot and Ive found myself out in the sun a LOT more (and I definitely stay hydrated out there).

Despite my borderline obsessiveness with SPF and strict skincare routine, I was finding that my body care routine of several years just wasnt cutting it anymore. My skin was getting ashy and kinda crepey.

It was getting itchy too and driving me insane- even though I was using a good body lotion that worked for me for a long time! I ordered this today and had it delivered. I could feel an immediate difference in my skin right after I used it.

This body wash alone made it feel softer again! I also had some Hempz lotion delivered. I havent used that stuff since I was in highschool, but I always remember it being really good. My skin is now 10x happier than it was 2 hours ago- and you can feel it!.

One of the BEST scents ever in a body wash! This is the version with notes of Tumeric Golden Milk, which hasn’t been registered on Influenster yet. I’ve already reviewed the Coconut Oil Ultra Moisture, but this one really takes the crown.

The light yellow cream comes out of the bottle to your loofah with a thick and very rick texture. It lathers quite nicely and the fact that it seemed much more moisturizing than the Coconut Oil version took me by surprise.

It instantly made my skin so soft that it felt like I had just used a body lotion. The scent, which really made me fall in love with it from the moment I felt it after grabbing it from the store shelf, remains very delicately on the skin for a couple of hours.

In my opinion, it’s an amazing option for those long hot showers before going to bed. This is definitely my favorite Olay body wash so far and I’m sticking to it for a good while.

A typical white plastic bottle with a flip-open cap holds the body wash. The packaging for other Olay body washes is essentially the same. After using the product for a long, it is challenging to determine how much is left because the bottle is opaque.

My favorite aspect about this body cleanser is the fragrance. I simply adore this wash’s entrancing floral and sweet scent. You have the impression of being in a flower-filled paradise. It’s a body wash with a strong scent that lingers on your skin for several hours.

I doubt it will appeal to those with sensitive noses. It wakes your senses with its calming smells, as the label claims. This body cleanser has the most wonderful fragrance. I adore orchids, and I also have a small orchid plant growing next to my bathtub in my bathroom.

Now that I’m using this body wash, I feel as though there are orchid trees all around me. It’s a welcome change from the usual shower routine.

I bought this a month ago and this is by far my favorite body wash not only for my 2 year old, but for me as well. I love the smell. It’s absolutely wonderful, and relaxing. This body wash not only gives u a great lather, but once out of the shower, you can smell it long after your out.

It is gentle enough to use on my toddler who suffers with eczema without causing a flare up. I use it also with eczema and it has not caused me any problems. This is my favorite body wash of anything on the shelves.

I purchased the Simply Nourish Method Body Wash (Coconut, rice milk and shea butter) due to all the rave on TikTok. I got mine at Target, if you purchase any scent method body wash TRIAL SIZE with your full size choice of method body wash you get $2 off your total so basically a free trial size since it costs $2.

I’m not sure if the deal is still on at Target but it gives you a chance to try out two scents. I chose the peony, sea salt and rose water Trial size and the Simply Nourish Full size with a total of $8 plus tax! The full size is 18 oz.

and only a small amount is needed. It lathers nicely and is a warm vanilla sugar scent. The coconut is not overpowering which I love and reminds me of brown sugar scents. I look forward to trying the lotions when they arrive in store.

The wash also works well when being paired with lotions. The scent combination is devine!.

I have been trying to use more “naturally” derived products and this Method body simply nourish body wash is good. I get it for around $8 at Target. I personally really like the coconut scented one. I think this is hit and miss with really sensitive skin types, so keep the receipt if you are trying for the first time (might want to return).

It has a thinner consistency and only lathers a little bit. It does a good job of removing dirt and excess oil without leaving my skin dry and tight. The scent doesn’t last long on the skin, not an overwhelming scent.

I take Warfarin (blood thinner) AND several inhaled steroids for my breathing and heart. Both will cause dry, very thin skin and skin tears very, very easily. I have driven myself half mad over the past year or so trying to find a body wash that helps moisturize, paying $10, $15 sometimes 20 bucks or more for specialized body wash and soap, even ordering olive oil soap, all claiming to hydrate your skin.

NEVER thought of buying “Suave”, who would? I thought it was just cheap “detergent”. Couple of weeks ago I was out of my expensive wash so I had to use my partners Suave. I was amazed how hydrated my skin was.

SERIOUSLY? This stuff is under 3 bucks a bottle, large bottle to boot and it hydrates as well if not better than the stuff I’ve been buying from pricey department store at $20 or more for a smaller size bottle? Hydrated skin means less skin tears for me.

My husband and my son absolutely this Suave Men Face & Body Wash, Body Cleanser Shea Butter & Coconut Oil. My husband suffers from psoriasis, so we have to choose cleansing products very carefully, because a lot of products, on the market, irritate his skin.

We use a lot of Suave products, because they are mostly made from natural products. This mens face and body wash from Suave is amazing. He is able to cleanse his body and face, without the worry of irritation.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who suffers from any skin disorder or just dry skin. It’s definitely worth the price.

This is a very nice product. It lathers great and still rinses off cleanly and without any residue. It works great to clean your skin, but it also helps keep it soft and moisturized. The scent is very subtle, not at all overpowering.

Although it’s marketed for men, I have used it and find it to be perfect for any gender. It’s definitely more of a neutral scent. If you want a good quality cleaner that can be used on face and body, and you like a soft, gentle scent, this is one you should try.

This body wash smells nice but only until you actually use it in the shower, where the smell kind of vanishes. (If you’ve ever smelled Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo, this kind of smells like that but fruitier.

) It’s pink and has a watery gel-like consistency that feels like it disappears when you start spreading it across your body. I don’t find that it lathers well, and that’s even with a loofah. If you want a good lather then you have to use about 2 – 2.

5x the amount of other body washes. This does feel amazing on your body and helps moisturize however the smell is not what I expected. It really smells like vitamins and not like coconut at all. Would purchase a better scent one.

This is my favorite body wash! Been using it for more than 5 years now. A little goes a long way and it makes my skin feel great. My only complaint is the recent packaging change. Why oh why did they have to change the bottle?!?! The old style bottle was easy to grab hold in the shower due to the matte finish and the flip top stayed closed but was easy to open.

This new style bottle is slippery. The first one I used slipped out of my hand, fell to the floor broke the cap. And the new cap sucks because after a few times of opening closing the hinge breaks. So this packaging change was probably a decision made in their corporate boardroom to save a few cents but it’s stupid.

He now prefers a body wash over solid soap because he finds that the body wash has a more concentrated cleaning formula, and the foaming lather lasts a lot longer. This makes it way more efficient and easier for him to use at shower time.

He appreciates the way the body wash is very hydrating and gets to the root of any dry skin issues he has. Every time he takes his shower, he feels super invigorated and clean. My husband was the lucky recipient of this body wash. He has never used an Old Spice body wash before and was pleasantly surprised. When I think of Old Spice it’s usually the memory of that back in the day smell that my grandfather used.

I relate the brand to something older men would use, but this body wash is NOT the same as that old smelling stuff. This body wash smells amazing in and out of the shower. It’s not crazy overwhelming or over powering but not too light either that you miss it once you are out of the shower.

It lathered up with tons of suds and was very moisturizing once out of the shower and toweled off. I recommend it based on smell alone, my husband recommends it based on everything stated above. He can’t wait to try some other scents.

The Crest 3D White stain shield is a fantastic toothpaste that I have used for years. There is an improved formula which make it even better than it already was. I notice a difference in whiter teeth within a few days! The toothpaste leaves your mouth and teeth feeling refreshed for quite some time after brushing.

I am a coffee drinker so I have to make sure the first thing I do when I wake up is brush because the refreshing mouth can make my morning coffee taste off if I drink it too soon after. Like I said it leaves your mouth feeling refreshed! The consistency is a good balance of not too gritty and not too pasty or tacky.

It is not a “watered down” toothpaste. It is quality.

For a drugstore body wash, this original Ivory is pretty stellar. It smells relaxing and fresh and leaves you feeling clean without any drying effects. My skin can be rather sensitive to new soaps, but this one has never been a problem.

I also appreciate so much that a small amount develops a rich lather extending the bottle by a good bit. It’s inexpensive and a great value for what you get. Definitely recommend!.

Started using Ivory soap at 10 years old. Will soon be 62 and it’s still the ONLY thing I use. Was excited when they came out with the bar soap in Aloe scent. But a body wash – don’t even try to hold me back! I first tried the regular scent and it was great but when I tried this, couldn’t believe how amazing it was.

Smells super and tons of suds and cleans great! And by the way, I’ve always gotten compliments on how terrific my skin looks. That’s what you get with Ivory.

I first tried this product when I saw it at Walmart, Luckily at a very low price during COVID. Don’t ask me why but since that first purchase the cost has seemed to inflate threefold on this body wash.

But I understand the demand. The amount of mainstream tea tree products, specifically body washes and face washes is very limited. As all of you out there reading this review and searching for one know by now.

Tea tree oil used to be used mainly in prescription washes but over the years is finally making a splash on the supermarkets shelf- sort of. Ultimate wake-up body wash is cool to the skin and feels activated by the hot water, bringing the tea tree and lemon essence to strangely work together well without smelling medical.

All in all, It’s pretty moisturizing, smells and feels good both going on and after your routine is complete. This is a body wash I would recommend to anyone looking to try a product specifically with tea tree oil in the ingredients.

It’s not my favorite but it’s also not the worst I’ve tried. I will say in my opinion, if you are looking to purchase this product and it happens to be marked over $5, it’s not worth your time. Everyone seems to have a different price point on this item and my threshold for thriftiness will end on this Irish spring at no higher value, but that’s just a matter of personal taste as I like to save the extra bucks for my favorite brands.

Goshhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Did Y’all have to change the freaking scents just because y’all changed the packaging????????? Y’all have messed up a lot of good business with this. I used to use like 3 different kinds of y’all body wash and now these new “Down Grades” y’all gave to the scents are just horrible and unpleasant.

I will not shower with anything that doesn’t smell too good and doesn’t feel fresh. IM JUST SAYING!!! Y’all SHOULDN’T have bothered the way the soaps SMELL. Now I gotta shop around and find something to replace yalls.

I have a different version of the aloe, I have aloe mist. For a guy you have to feel let’s say clean and smooth. I got the aloe mist because it’s a face and body wash. Smells like a fresh spring day, flowers in bloom, and the flowing water of a creek going by.

In my opinion it’s a great body wash. Gets me feeling fresh and revitalized. I usually use old spice but switched up and think I found a new favorite. Doesn’t seem so harsh on the skin as other body washes.

Very disappointed that you discontinued Hydrator body wash. From reviews i certainly am not the only on. I tried this new product and was not impressed. Be like coke and leave the original product lone.

It was perfect just the way it was. Its getting harder and harder to find gillette body wash at Walmart.

Only body wash ive used for the past 10 years. Gillete use to make another version of this thay didnt have aloe, but it still had a nice lotion in it. Out of all the body washes i’ve tried, this is the only one that is not only good on my body, but on my face as well.

I’ve gotten sunburnt a couple times and using this body wash seems to help. Not as much as just using the aloe or a good lotion directly, but it definately feels like a high quality body wash. I enjoy the scent as well.

PLEASE DON’T DISCONTINUE THIS BODY WASH!!! This is the ONLY body wash that I’ve used for around 8-9 years now. My main reason is because it doesn’t leave a filmy feeling on my skin when I get outta the shower, but it’s also the best smelling body wash that I’ve found.

And it really does hydrate like it says. Now I can’t find it anywhere, so I had to switch to something similar in old spice. But now I have to put lotion on after every shower.

this makes me never want to go out on a limb and try a new brand ever again. First, it doesn’t smell like citrus or mint, it smells like moldy dust from a vacuum cleaner. Like when someone is vacuuming a gross house with a 50 year old vacuum, now mix that with the smell of an auto body shop.

I like earthy smells, dirt, grass, lavender, leaves, etc etc. it is not like that at all. It smells DIRTY like dust mixed with something youshould not be washing yourself with: gasoline/ some kind of mechanical smell.

Bad. Truly so bad. Second, the consistency is a NIGHTMARE. I like thin washes, like castile soap dr bronner, the thinness of that does not bother me at all even though its not creamy and luxurious. Basically what i am trying to say is i am not picky with my body washes, i liek creamy/moisturizing ones and more squeaking thin feeling ones.

I like it all! But this was straight water that doesn’t lather. I used half the bottle in one shower to simply get any lather or friction going. was impossible. Finally my shower was taking so incredibly long I had to stop it after 20 mins, dry off, find a body wash from the closet, and start all over.

My 10-year old son has been using Prep U’s body wash and it’s so gentle and leaves him smelling fresh and not overly scented. He enjoys using it and it’s so easy because he doesn’t have to have separate shampoo and body wash.

It smells like Grape. It might be a personal preference, but I don’t like the smell of artificial grape scent/flavor. I was expecting a scent closer to a berry. I wanted it to smell feminine. Instead I smell like a little kid lol If you like the scent of artificial grape, then def get it.

This smells so good. I really want to try some of the other scents! I have used this for about 3 weeks. I think it does a greet job, I feel clean and the scent does linger for a bit. It lathers really easily, which is a big deal for me.

I use a silicone brush and didn’t have any problems getting it to lather. The only thing, I have to use generous amounts. It is kind of thin but it’s not a deal breaker for me. This will be a good summer option.

I have pretty dry skin and now that it’s getting close to winter, my skin does feel a bit dry after using this. For me, that normally happens with a thinner body wash. Overall, I really liked it. I would purchase this in another scent.

I do use other Meyer’s products for cleaning, so I’m familiar with the brand.

This smells awful!!! Do not buy! My husband has used old spice products for years and I have bought them from Sam’s before. I thought all the red bottled “swagger” body washes had the same scent. i didn’t see the “Scent of Cedarwood” in small writing below.

This bodywash smells like cat urine. I thought it was just me, but my husband’s nose turns up with this as well.

My daughter loves this body wash. She actually loves any Old Spice product she can find. This one is effective. It washes clean and doesn’t dry out her skin. She loves the way it smells. It is masculine and musky.

Whatever comes to mind when you hear the name “Swagger” is probably about right. She says her mom’s body wash “just doesn’t hit the same”.

This is my go to body wash. Has a great clean scent that lathers up nicely with a rag or whatever you use. It has that flat flip cap so when you’re running low you can flip it over on the cap and won’t have to use 20 gallons of water waiting on some to come out.

The color is smurf blue which is cool. I accidentally left some at my dads house when I visited and he fell in love with it. so come fathers day I bought him this along with the spray they came out with.

Oh careful if you have some build up wash on the cap. It can pop in your eye when you go to close the cap back shut but I’m sure everyone has experienced that. Anyways. This is my review now go wash up with this cause nobody likes body odor.

I love this soap. It works well, and it smells so refreshing. My skin can react to soaps easily but this soap doesn’t do that. I have sensitive skin and this product is nothing but amazing for me. I would definitely recommend it for people with difficult to work with skin.

A product that performs a very good in-depth cleaning, because as with all cleanser, it finishes fairly quickly, but regardless of that, the cleaning it does is quite good, adding that it leaves the skin super cared for and soft after use.

I am so obsessed with this brand. I love both the original (dean street scent) body wash and this melrose scent wash. It’s a beautifully powerful fragrance but the scent is clean, light and airy (and of course floral because rose) so I doubt it would cause any headaches to people who are sensitive to fragrance.

People comment on how the scent doesn’t stay on the skin but I think it does, very lightly, however Ouai literally has a Melrose Place scented body oil, cream, and their body/scalp scrub is also in this scent.

They also have a perfume. If you want a scent to last on your skin, for any product, you have to layer it and Ouai offers the same-scented products so you can do just that. I love smelling clean and fresh, it’s one of the top physical things that makes me feel confident, so I do layer all these products and the scent lasts.

They have a travel size perfume so you can do some touch-ups throughout the day/night if needed. I think this will be my signature scent for winter because it is a warmer scent and Dean Street scented products will be my signature scent for the warmer months because it smells fresh with a small hint of citrus.

This is a nice body wash. I love the brand Ouai for their scalp cleansing shampoos, and this product comes in the same size minimalist style bottle as their Detox Shampoo. It is non-drying to my skin, which is great because I usually feel a little itchy in the winter after showering because of products leaving my skin overly stripped of oils.

Yet this cleaned really well also. My only dislike is that when you first dispense the wash onto your washcloth or body poof, it has an almost fermented smell that is bothersome. It doesn’t stay that way on your skin (it dissipates), but they were selling this scent as something really nice, yet it doesn’t smell so nice right out of the bottle.

All that said, I asked my nine year old son to try it and tell me what he thought and he said he really liked it better than anything else he has used that he can remember. He said it made his dry spots go away, like his skin felt smoother afterward.

He didn’t mention anything about the smell. Everyone has different smell sensitivities I guess. I almost would have given it four stars for that smell until I got such a glowing review from my son. I like how it’s really leathery too…makes a lot of really, really soft feeling bubbles.

So I made the plunge and got the entire lineup; body wash, body cream and perfume. This is now my signature scent! I love everything about it. BODY WASH: It’s not overpowering which is nice when I use the body wash by itself.

I had no reaction to the product and it has a nice sudz sing effect. It really lays the foundation for the other products when applied together. BODY CREAM: Super moisturizing, not sticky, absorbs well into the skin.

You can tell the next time you shower how creamy this is as you wash it away. The scent is stronger than the body wash but over powerful. It could easily be used by itself for the fragrance factor, but it does fade after a while.

PERFUME: OMG, hands down one of the best rose fragrances out there. When combined with the body wash and the body cream, this is a powerhouse combination! The other products really lay the foundation for this and the staying power alone is awesome, 8+ hours of wear.

It has good projection and dries down nicely. I would recommend this product hands down! However this when layered with the body cream and the perfume, magical.
