20 Best Blenders For Juicing And Smoothies (2022 Updated)

By far the best, sharpest set of blender/processor/grinder I’ve purchased. I find myself using the single serving blender more often than expected not just for smoothies but because each upper depends on the amount of food you want to process based on how well it will do the job.

Anotherwords, the two larger ones don’t thoroughly grind / blend if they are only 1/3-1/2 full. I also like the suction cups on bottom which prevents it from traveling on the counter while in operation.

It is piercingly loud which I have solved by keeping earplugs nearby. There are two single serve cups but only one blade. With the frequent use of the single blender there should be two. Also happy single serve works as a spice and dry herb grinder in split seconds.

Might have to purchase an extra single serve with blade if I can find it. 4/5 stars is because it does feel and look like very cheap plastic and therefore all other parts will likely outlive the motor.

That’s unfortunate as this sort of appliance is so disposable no matter how much you pay and that should not be in this day and age. Hopefully the company has done a better job than others in keeping the various parts easily available for a long time unlike so many other brands.

That would be in the right direction of a short lived product in a world of climate change. Companies should make it easier for people to purchase spare parts in order to fix and replace.

I have been using the Ninja® Mega Kitchen System® for a few weeks now and so far, am really liking it. To start with, having a pitcher, processor bowl and single serve cups all with one product is great.

I like the fact that I can use it to make a single serve smoothie, a batch of drinks or homemade salsa all with one base. The lids to the pitcher and food processor bowl fit snug and tight on top of the container and I like that they lock and have a release on them to keep them in place.

I feel the multiple blades on both the pitcher and the food processor bowl help make for faster, more consistent and smoother processing in general. Having two cups for single serve smoothies or small tasks is good if there are multiple people in the house wanting different items.

You don’t have to clean up the one cup to make the next recipe. The power level of the Ninja is great. It didn’t have any problems breaking down ice for a frozen drink or nuts to make nut butter. Most of the machine is plastic and while it feels durable the amount of use and wear over time will be a true test of its durability.

While I like the product there are some things that I feel could use improvement as well. The buttons on the machine are straight forward but for a machine with this power available, I feel numbered settings listing variable speeds/power would be helpful.

The machine cleans easily but I find a lot of water condensation remains in the bottom of the pitcher and processor attachment pieces where it sits on the base. With the way they are made a towel isn’t able to reach those areas for drying.

The recipes provided in the book seem ok, but I made multiple recipes following the directions provided and didn’t get very good results when following the provided instructions. When trying any of the recipes, use your cooking skills and experience with blenders for better results than the provided directions.

My daquiri was more pretty watery and my nut butter could have been smoother Overall, this is a good blending system that I recommend even if you are looking at options for yourself even with some of the improvements that could be made to the Ninja® Mega Kitchen System.

The “5200 Standard – Getting Started” Vitamix seemed to be a good fit for me as someone who only occasionally needs a blender but as such wants a single tool that can handle all of my blending needs and is reliable and durable.

Having owned the blender for a couple of months now, I have used it for a variety of things that intentionally span the gamut of the most severe challenges I expect to use my Vitamix for including making cold drinks (i.

e. blending ice), making nut butter, and making fruit purees (i. e. blending prunes) along with several other less challenging uses (making soup, batter prep, etc. ). This blender meets my needs by providing basic functionality and achieving results that I am looking for.

It is easy to clean and easy to use. As far as durability/reliability, only time will tell. This Vitamix serves as a replacement for another Vitamix blender, which was very similar and was purchased a decade ago.

While that blender still operates, upon starting the motor (at low speed), the motor “jumps” to a high speed for a brief second before engaging at a low speed. This doesn’t render the blender unusable, but especially in certain circumstances, the resistance of the contents is too great for the motor to jump to such a high speed and the circuit breaker trips.

Although I cannot remember exactly when this behavior started, I have speculated that I may have done something to marginally overload the motor at some point. With the new blender, I am trying to be more conscious to follow recommendations regarding what order to add the types of contents and other practices as recommended in the user manual.

The need to be cautious about these things is why I currently rate this as a 4 star product. If after a couple of years, the blender is running like new and demonstrates that it does not need to be handled with “baby gloves”, then I expect I would consider it a 5 star product.

I’ve had my Reconditioned Standard Vitamix since around 2015, and there’s just no other word for it than ‘game changer’. There’s no evident difference between Reconditioned and New, by the way–spotless unused carafe, tamper, everything else.

This blender is incredible. It can chop tomatoes. It can shred (cooked) chicken. It makes nut milk and tahini. It can blend a whole winter squash (cook it in a pressure cooker, then scoop seeds and all out of the rind, and add some stock) into a smooth soup.

It makes kale smoothies and v8 juice and sorbet and mixed drinks. The only even slightly frustrating experience I’ve had was trying to make mayonnaise, and I’m sure that was my fault, since my partner can get it to work just fine.

There is no question that the 5200 is a powerful blender. It’s definitely a step up for our smoothies; it pulverizes anything, even seeds, and produces a smooth texture that is a pleasure to drink. What we wonder about is the tamper, and the need for it.

Maybe it’s a carafe design thing? Our previous blender (mid-level Breville star performer) had an ingenious bowl-shaped carafe. This kept air pockets from forming. You never (hardly ever) had to stop the blending to expel the air pocket around the blades.

With the 5200, despite the narrow, squared carafe bottom, we are constantly fighting the development of the air pocket around the blades. We use the tamper, which is smartly designed to never touch the blades, all the time.

But even that often doesn’t work, and the air pocket forms again instantly. Are we doing something wrong? We’ve added more liquid, less solids. We’ve varied the way we increase the blending speed, quickly or slowly, and still: the air pocket forms around the blades and only the bottom part of the smoothie gets blended until we jam away at it with the tamper.

(Plus, the unit should come with a Tamper Holder, so the tamper is not just laying on the counter when not in use. Why not?) So, we fight the air pocket every time (why?), and we struggle to find a place to store the tamper, but other than that we’re making some excellent smoothies, and the 5200 is a powerful and capable blender!.

Needed a powerful blender to add green smoothies to my diet. Compared this $75 Oster (1200 watts, glass jar, 3-year warranty) to the $450 Vitamix Explorian (1400 watts, plastic jar, 5-year warranty).

After using this blender almost daily for over a month now, I am thinking I chose well! So far, I have blended baby kale, curly kale, spinach, ginger, carrots, cucumbers, beets (boiled), strawberries, apples, lemons, celery (not all these things at once, just combinations thereof), with enough water (no ice), and the “Green/Frozen Smoothies” function PULVERIZED every fruit/vegetable I have mentioned; I can honestly say that I do not have to chew any remnants whatsoever in my smoothies! You do have to be very careful handling the heavy glass jar (excellent quality), and disassembling/reassembling the trio of rubber gasket, metal blade, and black plastic base to the jar, but this means that if you make anything sticky like nut butters, hummus etc.

This guy is the bees knees. I made a smoothie every day and this thing works great. Has a custom smoothie button that goes through this little process and then shuts off when it’s done. Then you can just grab the cup and put the lid on and take it with you.

I also make hummus in this guy. Easily the best blender I’ve ever owned, but I’ve always only owned the cheap crap you get at walmart. Can’t imagine needing a nicer blender than this. Update: the blender still works great, but if you attempt to order an extra cup from oster, you’re in for quite the experience.

I was given some kind of tall tale about the cup not being manufactured anymore. When mentioned to the rep that they were still selling the blender (with the cup in question no less) this was explained away that there were still some in circulation.

And this was after she tried to sell me the wrong cup, in spite of my protestations that this cup (as stated by Amazon and their own website) was (for some psychotic reason) not compatible with my particular blender.

Just barely a year of service. Just shut off and wouldn’t come back on. On Friday I was on my way to work and called oster about a warranty. Lady demands the serial number and refused to help any further.

Now it’s Monday, and now that oster is back open I’m on hold. Actually this is my fourth call of the day. The previous three calls say, “due to unusually high call volume, we are unable to handle this call.

” It then hangs up on you. Infuriating. Will update if I ever get someone to answer.

I was super excited when I had purchased the classic blender. I wanted to support a company with products that was made in the USA. After 147 blends, there is a malfunction in the gasket which causes rubber to be shredded into your smoothie.

I did some research and found that this is a common problem amongst other consumers who have a Blentec. I believe it to be a bad design. I reached out to the company and they told me that nothing lasts forever.

I would understand if I paid for an cheap blender or if I’ve used it a lot. I would have to pay over $100 to just to get another jar. At $400 a blender, this kind of thing should not happen! I don’t normally leave reviews but after experiencing this,I am pretty disappointed.

We just love our Blendtec. We spent a while doing a lot of research before purchasing this brand, and I am glad we did. We have the “twister” jar and are having a lot of fun making smoothies. I’ve also experimented with grinding up nuts and dried coconut and in both cases, the blender turned the nuts and the dried coconut to an excellent fine powder.

It’s relatively easy to clean – we just rinse the jar and top in warm water after each blend. In particular, my teenager is having a blast making smoothie recipes and has become inspired to buy ingredients and try new foods.

Highly recommend this is a great blender for families.

My in-laws gave me a Ninja Professional Blender many years ago. My FIL loves to do his research for the best buys and apparently the Ninja Pro was ranked as the best value. I used it regularly for years until our dishwasher massively malfunctioned and stayed on the super-hot drying cycle overnight.

After like 12 hours of that both the blender jar and the lid were warped and deformed. When we went to replace it my then-husband wanted to get this model with the 2 blender cups for smoothies since that is what he liked to have every morning for breakfast.

The Ninja Professional Blender itself is great! It has a large capacity, 3 different power levels, and an interesting blade design that helps to maximize blending/stirring for an evenly smooth product.

The jar, lid, and blade insert are all dishwasher safe. The base is easily cleaned by wiping down with a damp cloth. My only complaint is that it is difficult to clean the under-inside of the jar and food debris that is normally washed away during the regular rinse cycle in the dishwasher does not move and will wind up dried in there.

It doesn’t affect the cleanliness of the inside part of the jar that is exposed to food but it is unsightly as it accumulates over time. We paid about $100 at Target for this blender and the 2 blender cups.

I’ve never had an issue with this Ninja blender. It even was a great stand-in for years after my food processor died. Of course I couldn’t use it for doughs but that is what my KitchenAid stand mixer is for.

It was great for dressings, marinades, batters, flavored sugars, and all of the typical things that you’d make in a blender. My ex used the blending cups for individual breakfast smoothies a couple of times before pretty much just abandoning them.

I am pretty sure that I threw them out long before I packed up the actual blender when I was moving. This Ninja Blender really is great. I definitely would buy it again but without the blender cups.

I bought this blender but returned it after 30min. This review is not for the blender itself. I had another Ninja blender that the motor stopped working but to be fair I had it for a number of years and it worked well.

The cups and pitcher of the old blender are all in very good shape and perfect size for smoothie. Assuming that Ninja has standard sizes, I bought this blender so I can still use my old cups and pitcher.

Unfortunately I realized as soon as I opened the box that the cups were significantly smaller than my old ones, meaning that I couldn’t use the base with my old cups & pitcher. It helps everyone if companies standardize and make their accessories interchangeable, instead of introducing parts that don’t match.

I was expecting more from Ninja.

Our family enjoys smoothies and smoothie bowls for breakfast so we wanted to add a high quality blender to our wedding registry. We chose the Ninja over the Vitamix because of price. Those are the two big names you hear and we assumed that even though the Ninja was less it would still blend well.

While it does blend, I find that you need a lot of liquid for it to do so. Additionally, it doesn’t break up some of the food as expected. One example, I recently put a date in my smoothie and there were little clumps the size of sea salt left over even after blending for serval minutes.

If I could go back in time, I’d go with the Vitamix because the whole reason we paid up for a blender in the first place was because we wanted one that really pulverized our food. Sadly, this one doesn’t fit the bill.

I was one of those who would roll their eyes at the Costco Vitamix demos peddling their “$400 blender”. confident my $150 specimen could do the same job. I burned though 4 of there. That math is pretty easy.

I even got one for mum (the 5300) this summer. She use to mock my obsession with my Vitamix and now she uses her every day too! If you’re on the fence about thinking you’r $150 or $200 blenders can do the same job if you give them a bit longer.

A Vitamix is made to handle long, high runs – nothing else even come close! My 2015 5200 is is like new here at the lest few days of 2019. I now want to try one of the smart blenders in combination with the scales to I can easily weigh portions on the fly for meal planning to integrate with my weight lifting schedule.

Currently, I love the 5200 for its simplicity and manual controls!.

The machine came well packaged, all parts intact and well protected. Pay attention to that warning on the website that talks about packaging might display product name because mine came in a box with a large printed “Vitamix” on the sides if that is a concern to you.

This machine is the second Vitamix I’ve owned, the last one still works like the day I got it more than 10 years ago, and the only reason I bought this one is because it’s not as tall as the first one and will fit on my kitchen counter.

Also, this one has the second container for grinding dry goods, something I’ve not tried with the original machine. The machine is not your mama’s old 5-speed blender, this thing is VERY powerful and quickly turns the lumpiest stuff into smooth liquid (or powder in the case of dry goods like grains).

When blending something that contains both liquid and solids, it will help you if you note some of the recipes and get an idea of how much liquid/solid ratio you’ll need to get a smooth blend. It’s like when you mix pancake batter.

I had decided it was time to look at my diet and get into smoothies. There seem to be a lot of options on line so I did a fair bit of research and soon realised that the Vitamix seemed to be the choice of the professionals, many saying they had had one for ten years or so.

Since I like to buy quality, I decided to get a Vitamix. Wow! What a machine! It’s heavy and it’s powerful. I was soon whizzing up great smoothies much quicker and more effectively than I had been able to with my old machine.

Then I discovered the frozen desert. With just a little yoghurt or oat/nut cream as a base, you add frozen fruit and blitz up the best tasting fruity desert imaginable, better than ice cream and far healthier.

It can be frozen for later but goes very hard so needs to be frozen in scoops and allowed to thaw for a bit. Better to serve immediately – though, if you have guests waiting in anticipation, you might want to warn them, this is not a quiet machine on full power.

If you drink a lot of nut based milks, cream and butters, this machine will start saving you money. I have whizzed up some delicious cashew and almond milks for just the cost of the nuts. The cashew cream is delicious poured over breakfast cereal or fruit in place of yoghurt.

The only additional item I found I needed was the specially shaped spatula designed to go down the corners of the goblet and under the blades. It makes it much easier to get the stickier mixes out such as frozen desert and nut butter.

John Lewis don’t seem to stock it at the moment and it is quite expensive. You might also want to buy a cover to keep it clean, I found on with pockets on the side to store the plunger and spatula. Which brings me to cleaning.

You can’t separate the goblet from the blades and any fiddling here negates the warranty – I certainly would not want to try in view of the power of the machine. The recommended method is to add a few drops of washing up liquid to warm water and blitz.

Hmmm. Doesn’t really work. However, I have not found it difficult to clean inside the goblet with classic hot and soapy and a dishcloth. There are other Vitamix machines that offer presets for different foods but it seems that these just control the speed of the blades.

In practice, it is not difficult to get the feel for doing this manually. Larger items like nuts, frozen fruit or ice cubes need slower blades until they are broken up, then you speed up. There are masses of videos on line offering help and advice and some delicious recipes.

Then it’s fun to just get creative.

I had been putting off committing to a Vitamix for some time. I had heard the great reviews, but thought my array of food processors and blenders that I already had were sufficient. I received a Vitamix as a Christmas gift this year and it has completely upgraded my kitchen.

This thing does it all! I truly no longer need any other blending appliance. I have already used it to make nut milks, salad dressings, veggie burgers, and hot soup! SIMPLY THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!! Vita-Mix is the best blender on the market and has been the best blender since 1985. The motor on this bad boy is the largest, strongest, and fastest, period. Not only is this blender capable of making the best silky smooth smoothies, it can make flour, hot soup, purées, nut milk, batters, and the list goes on!!! The price tag is hefty but these blenders last forever! I met someone who was still using their grandmothers Vitamix from the 80’s.

If that doesn’t tell you how great these blenders perform than I don’t know what will. If anything does end up happening with your machine (super rare) the company has great customer service and will switch out your entire blender for a new one.

If you go on their site, they have a list of refurbished ones that have been fixed and tested and sold at a discount. I bought mine this way and I’ve had it for almost 8 years now and it still works like brand new.

I use mine constantly for so many different things. The motor is so strong that the speed can be increased to full speed and heat up whatever you have inside of it to make things like soup. The soup gets almost boiling hot, it’s insane!!!! I’ve made broccoli cheddar soup, I’ve made peanut butter chocolate chip muffin batter, I’ve made fresh nut milks, creamy sauces, and countless smoothies.

Magic Bullets used to be wonderful little blenders. I’ve used them for over a decade and they typically last for 2 to 3 years of hard use and I happily replace them. While they may look the same and state the same power rating, they are not.

The currently available model is a full half pound lighter and is an absolute gutless wonder that can barely stir water without overheating. I’ve bought and returned four in the past few months, hoping I just got a bad one.

I didn’t. They’ve changed the product and should no longer be sold. For reference, I make a smoothie every morning with water, two scoops of powder and 2 scoops of frozen blueberries. Magic Bullet can’t even handle that, often overheating and shutting down in twenty seconds.

Don’t buy this. They’ve clearly cost-reduced it in order to sell their more expensive Nutribullet models and ruined the product in the process.

However, take note. If you’re like me you will have a few false starts which could put you off. The starter kit provides 700ml of blended liquid. The MAX sign is important. The temptation is to overfill and then just run water to the level.

If you do this you might well end up cleaning up quite a lot of mess! And the resulting blend will have the consistency of porridge. I found out that putting in vegetables and fruit to about half the amount of the volume indicated by MAX and then topping up with water/milk/coconut water etc works just fine.

Note that the illustration for the starter kit shows the container full of produce. I am pretty sure that if you do this you will have a problem! Great piece of kit, once you get used to it!.

I purchased my first Nutri Bullet about ten years before having to replace it. The motor finally gave out, but all the blades and attachments were still good, so I used them on my new unit until I replaced them.

I read the bad reviews, and i don’t see anyone getting a free replacement from where they purchased it. There are lemons sometimes, and I would have simply tried a different unit before claiming the product did not work.

I LOVE my Nutri Bullet. My husband and I have used it with the and have watched our health improve in big ways. And the TASTE!!! YUM! And it beats the huge juicier we had before. nothing huge to drag out use with all those parts to clean after using.

The Nutri Bullet milling blade has come in great when I needed powdered sugar and didn’t have any. regular white sugar was powdered in an instant! This product is wonderful, and I plan to use it always.

We purchased this item because we bought this exact same item over 5 years ago and the mixer bowl base broke recently. The first Mega Kitchen System was bought directly from Ninja with a 5 year warranty.

Within 1 year of owning the original unit the small mixer blade base broke. Ninja sent us a completely new Mega Kitchen System. Within another year of receiving the replacement the small mixer blade base broke again.

Ninja sent us another full Mega Kitchen System replacement. The third one lasted over 5 years before the mixer bowl base broke. A replacement mixer bowl costs over $60. 00. Best Buy had the complete Mega Kitchen System on Black Friday Special for $99.

All brands of high end blenders are loud, but the Ninja is especially loud. The Ninja is significantly less expensive than the competitor’s blender products with similar results, but eventually the plastic attachments will break.

The duration of usage until breakage will depend on frequency and type of usage. Replacement attachments are expensive. For the price you can’t beat the performance.

I removed the medium container, took off the lid, looked inside and turned to set in on my table. Something fell out and hit my foot. I looked down and there was blood all over and the blade on the floor.

I wrapped it up and went to ER. I learned that the blade cut through my tendon and got a referral to a orthopedic foot surgeon. I had my mouth surgery as scheduled and another surgery on December 3rd, 2021 to repair the tendon in my foot.

I had a pin sticking out of my toe for 6 weeks and unfortunately surgery didn’t repair it. Update to now my toe is bent down and to the left, so I’m walking on it. So now they are going to have to amputate my toe.

Ninja has offered me $1500 lololol. I’ve been in communication with them since this happened and obviously don’t wanna do the right thing. These blades are shipped very dangerously and are not secured at all for shipped.

That blade should not have fallen out. I’ve sent them all medical records and they want more or there refusing to change there offer. This is a warning for everyone who buys these machines. They have already had many injuries with this blade system.

I want my story to get out and it’s going to. Feel free to share this. Now I’m heading over Instagram. In a world that’s so messed up right now, they could do the right thing. Beware!.

I have owned this blender for almost 3 years, and I use it every day to make a breakfast smoothie. It is absolutely perfect for me. I dump in the ingredients, hit the “smoothie” button and it’s breakfast.

When I’m done I dump in some water, hit the “clean” button and it’s ready to the dishwasher. And it goes in the dishwasher without being disassembled which is a real plus. I bought this blender to replace a 30 year old Waring bar blender which was, let’s face it, a real looker.

The Waring also had a glass canister which was essential in making Julia’s blender hollandaise, but I only make hollandaise twice a year and the two-speed Waring required a lot of switch flipping and canister shaking to make a smoothie.

Kudos to the engineer designed it to just fit on the counter under the overhead cabinets and the electric plug with the finger hole. It is loud – but I think the Waring was louder and took about twice as long.

I came back after 3 YEARS to review this blender. This isn’t one of those “used got it yesterday and I love it” reviews. I have used this blender approximately 1000 times and it still looks and performs exactly the way it did out of the box.

That is why I gave it 5 stars.

When my old Breville blender stopped working, I was dubious about what is now on offer as my old blender had a lovely glass jug – which you can’t get now. I also did not want to spend too much as the blender is mainly used for breakfast smoothies only but I needed it to be strong enough for ice crushing.

We have had this new blender now for a week and used it each morning. I have been very happy with the power of the blender and the jug is very nice (though not glass!). The blender has good safety features and is easy to clean especially around the blades which are a little higher up so its easy to clean it properly at the base of the jug.

All up, we are very happy with the blender especially in this price range with many other brands costing up to six times more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] This is easily the nicest blender I have owned. It has a lovely design and looks gorgeous on the counter. It’s the perfect size for making smoothies and protein shakes but it’s versatile and makes other delicious recipes, such as hummus, mayo, salad dressing, and etc.

The pitcher is sturdy and dishwasher safe. The blender lid is safe on the top rack. There are different settings depending on what you are making and all are easy to read and use. The Fresh and Furious blender is quieter than my previous blender, which I really appreciate.

It doesn’t move around at all when in use – it’s very stable. The auto-clean function is a very helpful, easy to use time saver. Normally I just wing it when making smoothies but the blender came with recipe cards so I decided to make one of the recipes.

I tried the “Pomegranate Berry Green Smoothie. ” The recipe included spinach leaves and the blender blended the leaves up SO well – there was absolutely no trace of the spinach – zero lumps! My kids had no idea their delicious smoothie had leafy greens.

It’s amazing how well the leaves were blended – my new secret weapon to hide veggies from the kids!.

I bought this blender two weeks ago to replace my usual breakfast with smoothies. Pretty standard – half a banana, mixed frozen berries, yogurt, milk or water. Recently started adding spinach and sometimes a couple of cashews.

I make smoothies in the cups it came with. My issues: 1. There are always full blueberries, or sometimes even a full small strawberry left in the smoothie that don’t fit through the spout when drinking.

I find I get a full blueberry in almost every sip. It does not seem to cut well. It does not seem to smash well. You can hear when it hits a full blueberry still. The motor changes speed and the whole mixture jumps.

2. It seems to require a science to get things to mix well. Otherwise the bottom 2″ just keep spinning around with the banana and berries relaxing at the top. 3. It is tough to clean, the shape of both the blender and the cups make it hard to get a scrub brush down inside.

I have combated the mixing issues by making my smoothie in multiple stages and swapping ingredients. I have swapped milk for water. I also leave the yogurt out and then add it back and the end and shake or give it a second spin.

This has helped. I definitely still get many large chunks of fruit in the the smoothie. Ultimately, it seems like poor engineering to the shape of the bucket makes blending and mixing difficult. Same thing with the blades.

Tough to clean, does not mix well. I feel more engineering effort in to these things would make a big difference. The motor used to smell every time I used it. This seems to have stopped. I see a lot of people complaining about the motor burning out so I am guessing that is another weak point.

This do-it-all blender set is fantastic! It has two travel cups that are perfect for protein shakes or single serve ice coffees and a large pitcher to make about 4 servings of smoothie. The cups have nice lids with tabs that clip both open and close.

My favorite cup is the one with the handle. The base of the blender have strong suction cups that keep it secured to the counter top while in use. It comes with a hard plastic handle, a tamper, that helps push down the ingredients while blending.

It’s designed to never touch the blade which is neat and helpful. I find that it doesn’t really reach the sides of the pitcher but it does push the food down efficiently. For me, the best feature of this blender is the extract mode.

That button is programmed to automatically alternate between high and low speeds while blending, an option specifically designed for smoothies. It surprised me the first time I used it – it’s weird to see and hear the machine go through all the different settings but it works! The smoothies have come out silky smooth with no trace of leafy kale.

Only small berries seeds survive the blade. I also like that the blade is permanently attached to the pitcher. It lessens the risk of accidental cuts while handling it. For cleaning, I like to put warm water in the pitcher with a drop of dish soap and pulse.

Speaking of pulse,I love that this unit allows pulsing on the large pitcher and not just on the travel cup single mode like this other blender I had. I have yet to attempt making soups with the nutribullet but I’m excited to try it next!.

We were daily users of our Nutribullet RX for YEARS! When it finally stopped working, we took advantage of the opportunity to order the combo as a counter space saving measure. The Blender Combo handles greens, like kale and chard, and frozen fruit as well as the powerful RX model.

The only frozen fruit that leaves small pieces consistently, is frozen pineapple. The countdown feature of the multiple speeds helps avoid overheating issues and the preset programs are spot on for handling whatever you mix.

I prefer the High speed to the Smoothie preset because my mixtures may contain fibrous additions like fresh ginger pieces. I only need one cycle to liquefy the mixture and the drink is still cold (my liquid addition is cold, brewed green tea).

I had to get used to not overfilling the 64oz pitcher. But, using the 32oz cup and extractor blade solved that problem immediately. I will be ordering a second cup. I’ve tried using it as a blender to make pesto from fresh basil.

That was not a success as the pieces were flung to the sides without being properly blended. Will try again at a lower speed and while adding basil and oil from the top. From this experience I can see where you could encounter thicker mixtures being stuck under the non-removable blade of the pitcher.

Keep a spatula handy. So far cleaning has not been an issue. I find it best to clean immediately after use. All in all, at six weeks in, this is considered a great purchase.

This was a great blender! I bought it twice. The first one lasted three years, the second one about six months. I’m thinking about getting a third. It has a smoothie setting that breaks up all the chunks.

It has a slow speed milkshake setting that makes a thick shake. It’s easy to take apart and clean. I like that it’s not plastic. Dunno why it didn’t last long the second time… but you can’t expect a blender to last forever.

I love this blender! It has plenty of power to break down my daily smoothie bowl, which I fill with plenty of frozen fruit and veggies. I just pulse several times and then let it run on low. This blender is not too loud, definitely quieter than Ninja blenders I’ve owned, and is easy to clean.

The to-go smoothie cup is a nice addition as well. I honestly think this is a much better blender, breaking down food and leaving a creamier texture, than the comprable Ninja pitcher blender I owned previously.

As a professional chef, powerful and reliable appliances are vital. In commercial settings there are bigger machines. I have personally owned this 750 for over 10 years and it gets used everyday. Sometimes for many hours each day.

Having been vegan for the last 7 years, my Vitamix has been through the absolute wringer making cashew creams, whole frozen fruit sorbets, every kind of nut milk and pudding, plus the daily smoothies, salad dressings and hot soup purees.

I prefer the 750 over others because of the pitcher size and shape, it’s also the only blender to likely fit between your counter and top cabinets. This is the single best investment of my career. I’m on the website now ordering my second replacement pitcher, the first replacement was covered under warranty, which I was ready to gladly pay for.

This machine has blown me away every time I use it and I could not recommend a single other item to be in the kitchen over the 750, which has proven irreplaceable.

I was very happy with the blender for the first few years. However, around year 4, I noticed pitting in the lower part of the container where it’s most used. I contacted Vitamax about the problem as my containers were supposed to be covered under the 7 year warranty and this is their reply: The marring you see is simply a cosmetic denting of the plastic.

The material is not being carved away, as the markings you see are just minor indentations in the plastic. This is a normal behavior, and your container is safe to continue to use. I’ve attached a photo.

I only use the blender 2-3 times a week for smoothies or soups, so not a huge amount of use. If you don’t like the idea that you might be incorporating plastic into your diet, or that this type of thing isn’t covered under their warranty, then try something else.

For the price, yes, I did expect this to have been covered under the warranty.

Finally purchased my Vitamix Pro 750 after hearing my mother praise them since I was a child. I’m blown away at the quality of the machine. It’s lived up to and exeeded all my expectations. It’s now my favorite kitchen toy and I look forward to playing with it everyday.

A happy side effect of having my machine is that I am now consuming so many more vegetables than I normally do. A green smoothie to start off every day and usually a vegetable soup with chicken for lunch or dinner, i didn’t buy the Vitamix with the intention of completely changing my diet, but I’m happy to report that I’m now eating healthier than I have in my entire life and enjoying every meal of it.

Also making fresh homemade baby food and sweet treats for dessert like grape and banana ice cream. It has no problem blending anything I throw at it, raw sprouts, squash, chia seeds, eveeything turns to a perfectly smooth drinkable texture, I’m convinced I could toss one of my work boots into it and blend that to a drinkable consistency.

If for any reason you are on the fence about purchasing a Vitamix, please do yourself the favor and do it! You are bound to enjoy it. I especially love the manual settings of my Pro 750, I like to do everything by hand and I would recommend this product to absolutely anyone.

For literally many YEARS, I’ve wanted a Vitamix but the price was too prohibitive. Have tried many other brands and have usually been disappointed. This offer came out just before my birthday so I decided this was the time to celebrate by taking advantage of this special opportunity and price offer.

Had a question so I called Vitamix directly and their immediate response and answer took away any doubts. The power of this machine is absolutely Awesome. The Vitamix has far exceeded my expectations.

This machine is a model 5200 except it’s over $100 cheaper. Every series of Vitamix produces the exact same quality of food, it’s just your preference of what extras you choose. This is the most bare bones model that I could find and it’s exactly what I wanted.

There is a variable speed dial, a very fashionable mechanical on/off switch, and another mechanical high/variable setting switch. That’s it. You’re not paying for anything you don’t need. Also, the tactile click of the on/off switch is very satisfying in comparison to professional models.

I highly recommend buying while supplies last.

I ordered this as a house warming gift for a friend last August. It was dead by December. QVC replaced it with another one. That one is now leaking and the motor is dying. I had heard great things about Vitamix and was excited and proud to purchase this item for my friend.

Now I am just disappointed and embarrassed that the gift I purchased is subpar. I am not sure what my recourse is at this time but I would not recommend this product based on the two that have been received and then died.

Love this! Just hate the lid! Water gets in the lid from where the handle lifts and you just need to hope it will air dry not create mould you can’t see. Blender itself if amazing and even when I bought my vitamix I couldn’t toss the ninja.

Does nut butter and things way better than vitamix. But vitamix does the smooth nut milk better. Vitamix has lots of power and is amazing for making soups , smoothies and more. Would like the cups to stack into eachother better to save room but really machine is great.

We have owned this blender for 5 years, and although my husband put it in our dishwasher and slightly melted the handle. It still works. The ingenuity of the blades is the best part. My smoothies and drinks never get “stuck”.

I get a perfect blend everytime with no chunks of ice or big fruit pieces. The blades are extremely sharp. The blender is so easy to take apart and clean. Ive never had a problem with smoothie leaking out the bottom like traditional blenders since the ninja blade is placed in from the top.

This Nutribullet Blender Combo is Amazing! It will blend your smoothies super smooth and creamy but can also blend up a salsa to perfection. I love the versatility this blender offers. I use it almost daily and it has not disappointed me yet! It literally does it all.

Soups, sauces, smoothies, salsas and anything and everything in between. I really like the suction cups on the bottom. This baby doesn’t budge or leak at all! It comes with a pusher so I can add more ingredients as I’m blending through the hole in the lid without having to actually take the lid off.

It is also super easy to swap out the large 64oz pitcher to a smaller 32oz with just a light twist of the wrist. I really like the handheld 24oz cup that comes with a lid too. Nutribullet really thought about this blender and bundle and what would be the most convenient for a consumer like me and they nailed it! I am excited to try out new recipes and smoothies with the help of my new blender.

Best kitchen upgrade ever!.

I would really like a threaded or better secured lid. I don’t feel like it will stay on after several uses. I am concerned about safety around children since you can activate the blender without the lid on.

Some people might want that feature, so I’m not going to knock it down for that; but you may want to be aware of it. Overall, The quality of the blender is fantastic, but the tamper is extremely cheap, like a mini- child’s whiffle ball bat.

It wouldn’t be such a big deal if you didn’t actually need it for some recipes. For the price I’d expect it to come with some more premium accessories. Pro: it’s not really all that loud, for such a powerful motor, I was expecting a lot more noise, our other blender from a very popular blender company was much louder, and less powerful than this.

It’s also crazy how much ventilation it has and how much air it pushes, it’s wild. I really like it, I would recommend it to others, but tell them that if they can spend more money for more premium accessories, they should.

The main reason for the rating – the blender gave E-07 errors out of the box. The errors were easy to clear but not acceptable given the price of the blender. Compared to a Vitamix Ascent, the 650 is a bit smaller, but it’s a good easy-to-work-with size with sufficient capacity.

The blender is lighter and seems somewhat less solid and powerful than the Vitamix, but the blend quality was fine and in some ways superior to Vitamix. I also found the 650 far easier to clean and dry compared to the Vitamix.

I didn’t like the control/display as I found it a little hard to tell what power setting was selected. I was a little surprised there’s no tamp stick included, and like others I found the top to be a bit tricky to secure – it seems like it’s on and looks like it’s on, but then there’s a massive leak.

You have to be really careful and check every side and corner. The only way to address the error codes was to return the 650 to Blendtec. At the time of the review Blendtec has my money and I have no blender.

Not too great.

We were introduced to a blendtec blender around 2010, and purchased one. They have a very good warranty one their equipment and jars. Better than the others out there. It has done everything we have used it on and has out performed the others we have hands down.

The orginal one we first purchased died about 2 years ago and we wanted to get another one but we couldn’t afford to buy one at the time, but when we could we found this one and purchased it and have been extremely happy with it so far and we are back into business again with our new blendtec blender.

It is truly worth the price for a blender if you are looking for a powerful blender that will do the job you are looking for in a blender. We looked into vitamix blenders to but didn’t like how you had to use a poker to move the stuff you are trying to blend with a stick.

I have used one of those blenders and found it bothering and always having to poke at it when it wouldn’t mix. We are very happy with our new blendtec blender. Check them out for yourself before you buy one.

You will see the difference between them and choose one too.

I was so surprised to see good reviews on this blendtec. Maybe I just wound up with a defective one? I have been using blendtec since 2008. I used the blender every single day and it lasts for about five years on average and during the five years it has tremendous power and puts something like Vitamix to shame.

I was so happy when I received this new blendtec, but upon first use, it smokes up the entire house and it has no power at all. I was wondering if maybe it just needed to get warmed up and used. but after the 4th time of a house full of smoke and a blendtec that appears to be on fire within the inside of it, I knew that this was no longer a good product.

Since there are good reviews however, maybe I just got a defective one. I am not willing to take the chance on another one of these, but I am going to get the commercial one that is available here on QVC.
