There are a few different types of birth control that can be used for regulating periods. The most common type is the birth control pill, which can be taken daily or on a set schedule. There are also other types of hormonal birth control, like the patch or the ring, which can be worn for a set amount of time each month.
Some birth control methods, like the copper IUD, don’t use hormones and can be used for long-term period regulation.

AMAZING book Every woman should own a copy. its basically the Vagina Bible. Has taught me so much about cycles and natural alternatives to birth control. Heaps of info on conception and overall health.
I am now taking daily temperatures and enjoying being off the awful pill. Love love love this book, even got one for a friend as a gift. There is also a great app called Kindara that enables you to log your temperatures easily on your phone that compliments this book beautifully.
FLEX Cup Remove your FLEX Cup prior to intercourse. FLEX Cup is not a contraceptive device and will not protect you against sexually transmitted infections. If you experience any adverse events with FLEX Cup, discontinue use and consult with your physician.
FLEX Disc is not a contraceptive and does not provide protection against sexually transmitted infections. If you experience any adverse events with FLEX Disc, discontinue use and consult with your physician.
The FLEX cup folds for easy insertion and opens up inside to form a seal with your body. Wear it safely for 12 hours. It collects up to 3 super tampons worth of fluid. To remove simply pull the ReleaseRing to break the seal and slide out in one motion.
I’ve had my flex cup for a very long time now. I just checked the order date and I’ve been using it since late April 2020. I had been wanting to try menstrual cups but was hesitant to get one because I read so many stories of people ultimately liking the cups but having horrible experiences trying to remove them for the first time.
I didn’t want to spend hours or have to enlist help from a second person to remove the cup for the first time and this cup looked like it would make removal easier. It lived up to expectations. The one thing that took a few tries to learn was how to remove without making a mess, but I got over that quickly.
I like the fit. Although Flex recommended the larger cup for women my age (40 when I purchased it), I read reviews of the cup on various websites and saw that a number of women who went by that recommendation and ordered the larger cup felt it was too big and ended up getting the smaller cup.
I started with the smaller of the two cups and am glad I did. This one is perfect for me and I think anything larger would be uncomfortable. Anyway, as someone who used tampons for years and pads before that, it’s nice to not have to get a new tampon every time I have to pee or use up a bunch of toilet paper wrapping menstrual products up.
$34. 99 seems like a lot at first, but considering I haven’t purchased tampons in almost 2 years and still have the cup, I’ve saved a lot of money. Also, there might be something cheaper out there, but I like the idea of having something made of medical grade silicon if it’s going to be in my body.
After almost 2 years, the only issue I’ve had is that after a year and a half, part of the tab snapped apart where one of the skinny sides meets the stem. It took a lot of uses before that happened and it’s still usable so I’m not too bothered by that.
Used tampons most of my life but I’d rather not risk toxic shock 5 days out of the month, plus, they can make cramps worse. Tried a small (I’m on the petite side) cup with good reviews – insertion was uncomfortable and the cup didn’t like to pop open so I’d always have small leaks.
Removal always resulted in me pinching myself while trying to grab the little ball on the end with my fingernails, because my fingers wouldn’t grip it. Also, the cup/s started to stain despite being cleaned properly.
🤢 I was really nervous about trying flex-disc and decided to just go for it and BOY AM I GLAD I DID. I followed the instructions on the website for insertion, and it was literally more comfortable than a tampon.
Once it’s in, you feel NOTHING. Don’t have to think about it until it’s time to take out. Removal is a bit more difficult than insertion but generally you want to hook your finger onto the ring (from the bottom or the top depending on whether you push it further in by accident while trying to remove like I did lol) and pull forward – upward angle helps on the way out to prevent spills, then keep it flat-upright and throw out! Even though I made a mistake on my second run, removal was still waaaay less uncomfortable than trying to remove a cup, and you don’t have to worry about a dry tampon causing friction on the way out.
Literally no leakage – zero. Couldn’t feel a thing while it was in. With proper removal you won’t have any blood on your hands, either. The price seems a bit high but I think with how long the discs can stay in it basically evens out with the price of most tampons.
I’ve been using menstrual cups for four years now, and I absolutely love the ease of wearing one. I switched to Flex recently after a friend told me how much she loved hers, but after using it for a couple of months, I have to say I’m underwhelmed.
My favorite part about menstrual cups is not having to feel or think about them until the end of the day when I take it out. With this one, I constantly feel it inside me, like it’s shifting. It makes me run to the bathroom to check all the time, and while it’s usually in place, it annoys me and in my opinion defeats the purpose.
I also struggle to put it in sometimes, despite wearing a menstrual cup for several years now, which might have something to do with how thick the silicone is. Lastly, my biggest complaint is that the little tab that is designed to pull the cup out, while great in practice, sticks out and irritates me cause I can constantly feel it.
Maybe this would not bother someone else, but I am fairly touch sensitive and it makes me feel uncomfortable having something like that sticking out of me. If I had known that was the case beforehand, I probably would not have bought it.
That being said, my friend loves hers so maybe it is not an issue for everyone, but it is for me.

Easy to use, not messy, and un-noticeable initially. About an hour later, irritating for me and 2 days later, irritating for my partner. Not sure how long the irritation will last. It’s been two days and it has not resolved.
I did expect this though, as years ago I noted sensitivity to spermicide lubricated condoms. If not for the irritating quality I would give 4 out of 5 stars. They are a bit expensive.

Not sure if it’s placebo effect or if they really work but I have been feeling a little less anxious since taking these supplements. I used to take prescriptions for anxiety and depression but I stopped because the side effects were awful.
I didn’t want to review these right away so I went through my first 30 day supply before writing this review. While I still have anxiety, stress, and general feelings of blah, these seem to have lessened it to a more manageable level.
They do enough to make it so I can do my mindfulness and other cbt tactics to combat attacks and restlessness. The only thing negative I’ve noticed is sometimes I have some stomach upset when I take them l, but it’s not horrible like I’ve experienced with other supplements.
They taste nice too (very minty) which is pleasant. I will continue with them and hope I keep having a positive experience!.
I beleived I had PCOS for quite some time – my cycle was long, irregular, painful, etc. This all started after I had and removed an hormonal IUD. For years, I have been trying to get to the bottom of my issues and really thought I had undiagnosed PCOS.
After taking Rebalance for just one menstrual cycle, I have already noticed major changes. Less spotting, shorter duration, less moodiness, etc. I just started my second cycle and things only continue to feel better.
I track my basal body temperature every morning using Natural Cycles, and after 1. 5 years of very sporadic temps, I’ve just completed a normal cycle where my ovulation was easily identified from my BBT – a very first for me.
So thankful for Rebalance, and if you are dealing with any cycle irregularity, this is ABSOLUTELY worth a try. Mushrooms are magic.
I’ve been taking this consistently but for under one month. I have a lot of experience with supplements, both vitamins and herbs and I have to say this is one of my favorites! The price is low when considering the ingredients.
I haven’t experienced any nausea or dizziness. I see a valuable difference in my mood, energy level, and surprisingly my skin too! Not sure about cramps yet but I might update this review later if I see a difference there as well.
Overall I will keep buying this. I have neurodivergent burnout and a hormonal imbalance so seeing any change at all from a supplement is amazing. I had no expectations and am blown away.

Specifically formulated with a Woman’s body and personal care in mind, so she feels confident and healthy every day.
I know that everyone is going to experience things differently so I’m not here to stay this product is terrible, it might work great for some people, but I just wanted to share my experience with others.
I’ve used these suppositories three times (not consecutively) and each time I experienced similar symptoms. I would insert The Killer suppository before bed and I experienced the most terrifying side effects on three separate occasions which I now believe is solely because of them as I’ve never experienced these kind of side effects before.
I would get extreme night sweats and tremors accompanied with some intense cramping in my lower abdomen. I had bizarre dreams and would wake up and borderline sleep walk and hallucinate. The day after each time I took this suppository I also felt not myself, lightheaded and just very spacey.
I can’t think of why this would happen other than some weird reaction to this suppository and I’ve never experienced anything like this other than the three times I’ve taken this. So it might work for you but be aware that it might absolutely not work for you and cause more harm than good.

I absolutely love this product! Not only is the packaging gorgeous, but there is a pink heart in the bottle to make the capsules smell good. What a great idea! I’ve been taking it for two days now, and my family can already see a difference in me and so can I.
I don’t feel so bloated and I’m definitely more cheerful and happy. I’m very hopeful this will regulate my hormones and induce ovulation because I’ve been having anovulatory cycles off and on for the past year and a half.
Sending love to all of you at Pink Stork! Thank you for praying over the products before they get shipped, I think its really special there’s a Christian company out there praying for it’s customer base.
Love from bump to birth. Our vegan Prenatal supplement is gentle on your stomach and helps mother your body during pregnancy and lactation, giving you the essential nutrients (including folate and DHA) you need to nourish both you and your baby.
So fun fact, I’m taking these and I’m not pregnant. I am however anemic and low in b vitamins, so these wonderful things came in handy. So handy, in fact, that I have purchased another bottle and I’m only half way through the first one.
I love that they are minty, have the right about of each ingredient, and seem to be high quality. They are also a way better price point than any of the other similar vegan supplements on the market.
And, if I do get pregnant I know I’m getting the right stuff out of this vitamin.
I switched to these from the Ritual prenatal vitamins which left me with a gross aftertaste and upset stomach. These have been my favorite so far! They smell strongly of peppermint from the satchel inside that keeps them fresh, but really sweet too which I’m not a fan of.
However, they are the only prenatal to agree with my stomach and the taste is pleasant. I feel great on them and can take them on an empty stomach if I’m rushing out the door to work. The price is also a huge selling point! I really like this company and all that they stand for.
I feel good on these prenatal vitamins and have been raving about them ever since I started taking them.

While there are many different types of birth control available on the market today, they all typically work in one of two ways: by either preventing ovulation or by thickening the cervical mucus to make it more difficult for sperm to reach the egg.
Both of these methods can be effective in regulating a woman’s menstrual cycle.
The most common type of birth control pill contains a combination of the hormones estrogen and progestin. These pills work by preventing ovulation, which in turn, helps to regulate the menstrual cycle.
There are also other types of birth control pills that only contain progestin. These pills work in a similar way by thickening the cervical mucus and making it more difficult for sperm to reach the egg.
The IUD is another popular method of birth control that can be used to regulate the menstrual cycle. The IUD is a small, T-shaped device that is inserted into the uterus. It works by preventing the sperm from reaching the egg and can be left in place for up to five years.
The Depo-Provera shot is another option for birth control that can help to regulate the menstrual cycle. The shot is given every three months and contains the hormone progestin. It works by thickening the cervical mucus and making it more difficult for sperm to reach the egg.
Birth control can be an effective way to regulate the menstrual cycle. There are many different types of birth control available, so it is important to speak with a healthcare provider to find the best option for you.
