I’m so grateful that I ordered this Zinus Metal Smartbase! I currently have so much body pain from injuries. And it’s an easy assembly. Just a few screws and that’s it! My biggest problem was getting it out of the box and moved around.

I cut the box off around it and pulled out each piece as needed and assembled each. Just tightening a few screws. Then, finally, I was able to find a neighbor to move pieces together where I needed it.

Adding the final two screws! He grumbled the entire five minutes. Lol People just often don’t want to be bothered. Which, is why I really needed this to be easy! If I could give this a hundred stars, I would!.

Definitely do not recommend this product if you are looking for the KING size. The King size is 10cm too big for a standard king mattress. The bed base cover also didn’t fit either. Would recommend though for other sizes just not the KING.

Bare in mind that this is a bed that comes a box and has to be built as it has metal pieces. So easy to build and to move around, the instruction manual is there too and it came with a ratchet which made tightening the screws easier.

I did have an issue with this King bed but customer service and the team were so helpful and had the product refunded. Temple and Webster is definitely a good company, just wouldnt recommend the KING size.

I got this because I live by myself in a walk up studio apartment, so I needed something compact and lightweight. While lightweight, the queen frame package is the width of a twin mattress, so it was cumbersome to get upstairs.

One of the legs was not properly attached, which took some muscle and frustration to fix. BUT, once assembled, this thing is exactly what I was hoping for. Sturdy, no squeaks, no sliding, compact, and very affordable.

Would recommend, just beware transport and assembly might be frustrating.

I had purchased bed risers to go on each leg so I could store two storage bins underneath. I didn’t need them because bed frame was tall enough already. Plus has a great middle support to give you that added support directly underneath your body weight.

The bed frame is very poor quality, the screws it came with is useless because there is no holes to put them through, the middle bar bent the first few hours of laying on it.

I purchased this after researching so many. I wanted/needed something really sturdy, being my boyfriend is a big guy. I do not have a casper mattress. but it fits great. I have a california king with a split box spring.

It holds it all nicely. When it arrived I thought there was not way it was the right size, but putting it together was soooooo easy. It made my bed higher than I thought. I have a 12” thick mattress.

VERY sturdy. Fairly easy to assemble (although I suggest you have a rubber mallet handy for getting the feet all of the way in and the notches lined up). Holes for the headboard are a bit smaller than the bolts I had, so that was interesting.

You may want to get some smaller bolts for your headboard in advance.

I am so glad I took a chance and ordered this bed frame! It is sturdy and priced right! My 10 year old and I carried the box upstairs and had it together in under 10 minutes. The hardest part was cutting the tape off the box! It was packed well.

All we needed to do was open up the frame and hand tighten 4 screws. No tools required! The frame is a nice height and study. I couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend this product.

Love it, the inatructions for building it seems complicated at first but then when you get it, it’s just like Legos. The packaging for the tools and screws were also amazing. Never seen something packed so nicely with the customer’s experience in mind.

The bed is completely solid. If it moves or creaks that means you haven’t pushed bars all the way. Use the rubber mallet and make sure the screws are tight. The hex head wrench that came with it is so helpful and convenient.

It really makes the assembly so easy! Would definitely recommend this bed. The black is cheaper than white by the way.

10/10 would recommend. Postage on this item was quite fast which was a bonus as we were in urgent need of a bed frame for the guest bedroom. Only came in one box which makes for easy clean up. I especially loved the extra tools that came in the box (rubber hammer and a ratchet Allen key).

With a sleek and clean design it was surprising that this was really quite easy to put together. I’ll just let the picture do the talking.

I ordered this online and it arrived quickly. The box was undamaged, so I was happy about that. I assembled it by myself, so it took a couple hours. Everything went together smoothly, with the exception of the legs at the foot of the bed.

For some sadistic reason the manufacturer designed this with some type of idiotic twist lock mount. The twist lock would not engage, it kept popping loose. As a result, there’s only one bolt holding the end legs on.

I’m hoping it’ll hold, but who knows. Other than that, the rest of the assembly went ok. Another issue was the instructions: in the instructions, the parts are lettered, while the parts themselves have numbers on them, not letters.

Thank heavens that the pictures in the instructions didn’t lose anything in translation. The messed up twist lock and the mislabeled instructions are the reason I docked this two stars.

The middle support beam is welded crookedly, which means the two pairs of holes that are meant to be parallel are NOT parallel. I was only able to screw in one side. I used zipties on the other side.

I’m confident there’s enough redundancy that the fix will do, but I never should have had to FIX a new in box product. And another issue I’ve had is this thing is made out of metal. Hard metal. Don’t expect it to be silent.

Do expect it hurt like heck when you inevitably knock your toes, calves and knees against the sides of this thing because it is about an inch wider on every side than my queen mattress. I’ve always thought the phrase “Buyer Beware” was overdramatic, and the phrase “You get what you pay for” was forced negativity, but these both apply!.

To start, this is a very inexpensive bed frame. I don’t mean that in a bad way, but I gave it another star because some of the complaints were mitigated by that. It’s easy to put together, but twice as difficult as another version (my sister bought basically the same frame and I put them both together).

For example, on hers, the headboard is two pieces. Here, it’s six. And, one did not really fit. Same with the footboard. Hers was one piece and here it’s three. That’s a lot of extra screwing together, lots that can come loose, and therefore lots that can be noisy.

I’ve slept on it once, and it was fine. Getting in it was a little noisy, but once in it was fine. It looks good and feels solid. If I’d paid more I would have been upset at all the extra parts. The box hers came in was slightly larger.

I have mixed feelings about this bed frame because it seems sturdy but its also a little bouncy/shaky so Im worried about it possibly breaking in the future. My mattress also slides a lot because there is no raised edges to stop it from sliding.

When I sit on the edge I feel it sliding backwards so I have to be careful and always re adjust it before I get on my bed. I think it would be much better if I could put it against a wall but at the moment i cant do that.

I suggest you do if you purchase one. I really like how easy it was to set up and didn’t need any tools. I’m not a fan of the bars in the front in back, as i cant access stuff under my bed unless I do it from the side.

I do however love that it has plenty of room for me to put storage containers under my bed to keep things organized. I do love the twin xl is longer but right now I don’t have much room so I wish I would of went with a twin bed instead.

All in all especially for as affordable it was, I definitely recommend it if your on a budget. I gave this three stars but its more like three and a half almost four.

FANTASTIC frame. We now have two and are waiting on the third. LOVE the storage underneath. Fits 4 huge sterilize tubs and 4 of the smaller ones. You unfold the frame like the vintage 1980s lawn chairs.

Open each side, legs click, flip it over. Attach two sides with bolts, and you are done! Super sturdy.

Well worth it if you’re looking for a cheaper bed frame. I previously bought a different but very similar bed frame on Amazon and it was awful. There were so many little bolts and wing nuts to secure that one.

I got rid of that one as it was unsteady and ordered this one. It is such an improvement. This one snaps the legs into place in seconds and then just takes two small bolts to hold the two halves together.

Was so easy to put together and quite a relief.

Frame was slightly bent on one vertical side and not properly aligned before I struggled to attach two of the gliders. The middle glider on the bent side of frame was 3/4 inch off the floor. I had to force it down.

Although I got that glider to make contact with the floor like the others were, that same side of the frame buckles out from my bed’s foundation which is quite noticeable. Also when I move the bed across the floor, instead of a smooth transition, a few of gliders bump across the floor making a popping sound.

In addition, it was not delivered until 15 days after the initial expected delivery date I was given. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase.

Very poor product. The middle portion of the frame didn’t touch the floor so I had to place sliders to make the middle gliders even with the end gliders. When I get on and off the bed all you hear is creaking and metal banging against itself.

I had to place pieces of cardboard between the clanking metal. Even with all that the frame still makes a lot of noise. Poor product. Very dissatisfied.

You need a box mattress if you plan to use this for a foam type mattress because the angled side that hold up the mattress are very narrow. When you lay down, the mattress buckles. That’s because there is no cross-member in the middle.

And I’m not sure that would truly solve the problem.

This bed frame is amazing! Not only did it arrive 3 days earlier than expected (which was only 4 days after purchasing), it was packaged perfectly with easy-to-follow instructions. The actual frame is sturdy, it doesn’t creak (especially when put flush against a wall), and holds the mattress solidly with double sided tape, so no worries about the mattress moving if you move in your sleep.

We had purchased the recommended bed base that came with what we found to be a ridiculously high queen size pillow top mattress that at over 70cms in height had me having to pull myself up into bed. This bed is solid; I constructed it alone with an easy to follow guide.

It has just enough room to clean under with a mop (board floors), and does not look as though its squeezed into our small 2. 9 x 2. 9mtr bedroom as it did with the original base. The brown timber slats on the headboard/foot blend easily with other wood tones & the metal frame although very solid means it does not look heavy.

I’ve had this platform bed frame for about a week now and I love it. it is very simple and basic but worth it. I was looking for something simple, easy to move around and travel with, solid. This is a bed that folds over into half its size.

I got the full size but the box it arrived in was not bulky. I simply laid the box flat on the floor and pulled the frame out. Because it’s a full size frame, there were two single frames which you screw together into a full size bed.

Everything you need is provided and the set up is very simple, even without reading the manual. The frame is solid and firm, even with a 10 inch mattress. The only downside already experienced by other reviewers is the roughness of the joints/rods.

Some say it made a hole in their mattress. To avoid this, I bought a Wal-Mart mattress topper for less than 20 dollars and laid that on the frame before placing the mattress on top of it. This protects the mattress from the rough edges.

Again, a single person can set up this bed but screwing it together can be tricky so start by screwing both parts a few inches at a time. Better s till, get someone to help you if need be. I love this frame and I would recommend it.

Very easy to put together and seems very sturdy. I am a single woman, put it together all by myself, no issues. I don’t like the holes in the legs, there seems to be no reason why they’re there and it goes all the way through so I don’t I didn’t put the wrong piece on the wrong side.

I am wondering how this is going to hold my mattress in place as it just sits on top of the frame. There is nothing (even the smallest) inward space for it to rest in to hold it in place. I don’t plan on running and jumping into bed any time soon but I am sure and my mattress is substantially higher now, so a leap to get up there is possible.

Aside from the manufacturer not being able to help my god given height or the fact that I have a pillow top mattress. the holes in the legs and mattress sliding about could be an issue. Also the fact that I’ve already painted the legs gold to match the aesthetic in my bedroom means I won’t be able to return it.

Price for this bed frame is good and frame looks durable. We found one bracket screw hole is not lined up with angle bracket. We had to bend angle bracket to allow serew in the frame. It was hard job.

Absolutely perfect!!! I had my eastern king size bed for a few years now and my toddler broke the metal BASE jumping in the bed as she usually does when she’s excited. When it snapped I found myself frantically running to furniture stores only to find very overpriced basic old school frames $100.

I ordered a Full sized one and a Queen sized bed frames. Both are worth Every Penny, They are crazy easy to set up, and are the best bed frames I’ve ever seen in every style and design! They can hold the wieght of 4,200lbs.

that being said, these frames don’t squeak, doesn’t shift, shake, wobble, and apear indestructible, as in they don’t bend, tilt, bow down and will last longer than any standard frame typically bought.

My 2 bed frames of these, are the Heavy-duty ones you can find and I paid less than Half of what the competitors want to charge. The mattresses fit flush to the edges, so there’s no running your leg into the horizontal sides of the base to get in bed.

My LIKIMIO queen size platform bed is sturdy and well made. Instead of flimsy wooden slats, that break easily, it has sturdy metal rods that screw on to the frame. It has no give, and doesn’t squeek.

It is darker than the picture, but still looks like real wood, from a short distance. At less than $200, it’s a steal. I’m going to put nice, real wood on the headboard and footboard. It will last many years, in my opinion.

This is a really nice headboard, and easy to put together and it was so cheap. I was able to put it together alone in 2 hours. My Queen bed fit and it looks great in my space. Exactly as described. My only issue is that the nuts are not the right size for the bolts so the bed is squeaking and moving way more than it should be.

I contacted the company but haven’t heard back on how they’ll resolve this (it’s only been a day) but if they can’t do anything then I’ll just go to the hardware store.

looks are good for price, nothing exceptional. very sturdy, seems very durable. supports are very good, no box spring needed. install instructions are a little off on which screws go where and was short several washers but they weren’t critical to assembly.

We are so grateful they did. We LOVE this mattress. It’s incredibly comfortable, without being too hot, and just the right amount of support paired with softness. The foam layers seem to cradle our bodies for outstanding comfort and somehow supports our weight.

This was easy enough to put together. It did not cme with exact instructions for a full size mattress but I found on their website that the crossbar had to be diagonal. This makes storing stuff under the bed a little more difficult, but I’ve made it work.

The frame still squeaks a little bit, the little bit, but I suppose that is to be expected with a metal frame. My mattress feels my mattress feels more firm with this new frame and with the extra support beam compared to my old frame which did not have a center support beam.

The bed is not sturdy and squeaks. The instructions actually say expect movement from the bed. That is not desirable for a bed. The handyman that put the frame read the instructions to me! He tried to stabilize.

Only two of the four wheels actually lock. I feel unsafe in this bed as an adult— I would not recommend if children in the house.

It’s okay – was very difficult to put together because the center beam makes no sense according to the instructions for full beds. I figured out the picture has it drawn to attach across the wrong way.

Also the screws are impossible to get really tight because they’re just twisted in and can’t be used with a screwdriver. I assembled it because I don’t want to deal with returning it but it’s not exactly right.

I brought this bed for guests coming for the holidays. It’s much higher than the usual air mattress. It keep inflated. Very happy! The Bedroom Store shipped out my order promptly and in perfect condition.

I am so pleased with the Sensarest air mattress. I am 5’4″ and 140LBS and my boyfriend is 6’4 200LBS so he tends to pull me into the middle but this air mattress kept us both on our sides and slept comfortably! This bed is amazing for the price! The frame is sturdy and stable. They thought of everything with the slats having the velcro ends to secure them in place, as well as a tape strip to keep your box spring or mattress from sliding off the frame.

The finish is flawless, with no visible scratches or dents – in spite of the delivery company having left it out in my driveway – in the rain, with 3 holes they punched in the box (probably to make it easy to carry).

Assembly was ridiculously simple, with only 8 screws, and the rest merely snaps together, with the help of a small mallet thats included. It took all of 25 min to unpackage and put together. I love the matt bronze shade of brushed gold, because it doesnt look too brassy or orange.

Only con I can think of is that I would have preferred a taller canopy – 7-8, since it looks a little short with 10 ceilings, and anyone over 6 tall risks bumping their head getting in or out of bed.

I purchased the queen size bed in black color. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I find the bed simple and aesthetic, reasonably priced and of good quality. The thing that could be improved is the paint quality.

There was a small paint chip when it arrived and the paint tends to lift where there was stickers. Nevertheless, this is very inconspicuous and I would buy the bed again despite this.

This bed is a little lower than I was expecting, maybe because I got the recommended 8-inch mattress to go with it, but it’s very sleek and sturdy. It came very well packaged, and I was able to put it together by myself in about 20 minutes.

I really appreciated that they included a rubber mallet, AND that the styrofoam padding in the box was wrapped in plastic so I didn’t end up with little white crumbs all over the house. Would definitely recommend this bed.
