20 Best Bb Creams For Pale Skin (2023 Updated)

I have incredible oily skin, an super sweaty, have large pores & acne prone skin. This is a truly amazing product for grease ball gals. Most bb/cc creams are not suitable for oily skin. This formula is phenomenal.

HOWEVER, the shade range is absolute garbage and it’s so tragic because the formula is so good. I would use this every day but it’s too dark and oxidizes terribly. It does look okay when I fake tan. Also it wears AMAZING through out the day.

Cover girl please expand/redo this shade range and I feel like this would be hyped up this spring/summer. I’m begging!!.

I went out of my comfort zone and purchased this covergirl clean matte BB cream. I love how it covers up my flaws and blemishes. It doesn’t make my face look shiny. I prefer a nice matte finish when it comes to my face makeup.

It isn’t full coverage, but more of a medium face coverage. Still shows my freckles. This is definitely great for anyone who has oily skin or combination skin. Very affordable. I started off using light, and then discovered my perfect color was light/medium #530.

I will definitely purchase this again and I recommend trying this product. Works well with a sponge or foundation brush. Definitely a preference. 5 stars for covergirl matte BB cream.

If this product was marketed as a foundation it would be 4 stars, however because it is marketed as a BB cream, it definitely deserves a 5 star. so I’m going right in the middle. Because in my eyes it’s full enough coverage to fit in foundation category.

The shade range is small and the fairest shade is actually a tad too dark for me. The formula is not runny, nor thick, it is “normal”/standard viscosity. Application is beautiful using your fingers, brush or sponge (for photos I used my fingers to apply).

Using your fingers gives you least coverage, a sponge a little more, and fullest coverage with a brush. I have somewhat dry skin and do not find this too mattifying on application and thru most of the days wear.

it has good last power about 6 hours before it starts breaking down. which is actually pretty great for a “bb cream”. I did not like the way this broke down after wear though. it started to get very patchy especially around the 8 hr mark.

I do really enjoy this product, and will definitely wear for shorter outings as it just looks so natural with the skin. I’m gonna try playing with different skincare and base products with this one. Let’s see if I can find the magic combo 😍.

How you would rate this product depends on what you look for in a BB Cream. I like a BB Cream that is moisturizing but also provides some coverage to even out my tone — without looking all made up. This BB Cream misses the mark for me where coverage is concerned.

however, it truly gives me a moist and radiant finish, which I desire. I suppose I could reapply several layers. but then I’d be spending more time than I’d want to invest and it’s defeating the point of a BB Cream.

Thus, I only gave this 4 stars, as it is VERY sheer. In fact, it doesn’t look like I have any product on. I think it’s heavier on the moisturizer and has very little pigment. However, if this is your ideal result, you will love this cream.

Shiseido generally makes very high-quality products, and no doubt, this falls in line with the rest of the brand. But keep in mind, this is not a very pigmented BB Cream and truly doesn’t even out skin tone.

But it DOES hydrate and treats the skin, so that is a plus. Ultimately, I won’t be purchasing this again.

I have combination, acne prone skin and this didnt cause issues, but if you have very oily skin it might clog your pores. Its very sheer and it gives the appearance of a nice dewy dumpling. Ive tried Dr.

Jart, bare minerals, tarte, and laura mercier bb creams and they were all on the stickier, heavy side. The dr. jart actually caused lots of itching. This is probably one of the best bb creams in terms of lightness and high quality formula.

Only downside is how a little does not go a long way. Its a relatively tiny tube, and you cant just use a pea sized amount. Would still buy it again despite the sizing.

I got two samples of this product in the USA 7 years ago. I was truly amazed at how good this product was. I have enlarged pores and the most difficult skin for foundation but this BB cream/ foundation transformed my skin into perfection.

I have used every foundation known to man from the bargain offers up to the most expensive costing over £120 to have them all “turn” on my skin. The shiseido BB cream sat beautifully on my skin and stayed true to colour.

This together with the zero pore look was for me just wonderful. With it being a BB cream, shades are limited but I bought both the medium and the dark and I mix the two to get the desired shade and this works very well.

I put powder over the top and I’m good to go. A truly fantastic product.

I like the product, I do. It’s a very soft, skin- like finish. Looks very natural. The shades are fools gold though- it’s a total crap shoot as to what color is going to work because they are not as described.

I got light- medium because it said the color was light with beige undertones. It was much darker than expected. But other reviews say the darkest tone is much lighter than expected. I like the formulation for everyday wear with mostly indoors, and just some light outdoor activity.

I’m considering whether to return mine or buy the lightest shade so I can mix and get a bigger shade range that matches my tone year round. Haven’t decided yet.

I LOVE this BB moisturizer! I’ve scrolled past it multiple times online and walked past it in stores more times than I can count. And dang. I wish I would’ve started using this stuff sooner! I’ve spent so much money trying to find the perfect foundation.

Covergirl (multiple kinds), Almay, The Ordinary, Clinique, IL Makiage… just to name a few. This shade isn’t an exact match to my skin tone, but it’s the closest I’ve ever been. I purchased the lightest shade.

It doesn’t get cakey, it doesn’t rub off super easily, no lines, no breakouts, and a little bit goes a long way. It’s also easy to build coverage if needed. The price is what kept me from purchasing it for so long, but it’s totally worth it.

You a fan of super hydrated, fresh looking skin? So you like a buildable foundation? Then you’ve found the right product! This tinted moisturizer is awesome. Really leaves my skin looking very natural and almost bouncy, if that makes sense haha! The only problem I had with this is it oxidized on my face.

Nobody wants to look orange-y, as far as I know! I should’ve picked out a different color, so that’s my bad. Other than my lack of matching skills, I’d say this is definitely one of the best tinted moisturizers on the market.

First off, I’m wondering why the only colors are for the following: -For very fair to moderately fair complexions with golden undertones, choose Shade 02 -For moderately fair to medium with golden undertones, choose Shade 03 Clinique, please be more inclusive of different skin colors and complexions!!! This is not okay.

This product is wonderful for how I apply and use it. I have red and blotchy and overall uneven skin. I feel compelled to wear foundation and eye make up almost every day, mainly because I want an even skin tone.

But now that I’m working from home, it makes no sense to wear a full face of makeup. But when I’m on Zoom calls, I would like to be somewhat presentable. This BB cream is it! It is foundation-like in that it provides great coverage but is a BB-cream in that it is not heavy or pancake like.

I’ve been throwing this on after my morning skin care with mascara and have a perfect every-day look without needing to do a whole make up routine!!! Wonderful. Just wish it was more accessible across skin tones!.

I love this product! The creme version is terrific for aging skin. I live in Colorado where the air is very dry. The creme version goes on smoothly and evenly. I use a brush to smooth it over my skin which makes a really nice finish.

I get a lot of compliments on my age. that I do not look near my actual age. I attribute part of that due to my Clinique skin regiment, this product, and my foundation. I’ve also used the matte version of this product.

I would recommend the matte version for younger people and/or people who live in humid climates. I am disappointed shade 03 is out of stock right now as that has never happened since I’ve been using this product.

Color 01 was discontinued years ago by Clinique. And Color 02 seems to have been dropped now, too. I would pass on purchasing this line of Clinique if you’re using it bc they’re just going to drop you like they did to the rest of us.

It hurt, bad. 01 was a very unique color and blend not found in other shades or creaminess elsewhere in the makeup world. I found solace in Neutrogena Hydroboost, Buxom, La Mer BB, and Dr Jart. It doesn’t replace the lost makeup, but they still have pale colors and their brands are just as hydrating.

I have mostly dry skin that tends to be sensitive and reactive. I have a history of mild to moderate intermittent adult acne that I have been told is hormonal. I have been an aesthetics nurse for ten years and skin care and ingredients are very important to me.

I apply this every morning and use it instead of foundation. I do like to look natural, not like I’m wearing a lot of make up. I battle against larger pores with some moisturizing products (which I need quite a bit of with dry skin) that claim to be noncomedogenic.

I have hyperpigmentation issues (from Sun/ blemishes) and this evens my skin tone out perfectly without looking like make up and still letting my natural skin come through. I prefer a natural hydrated look versus matte but I do not like high shine/sheen/sparkle.

This is a true medium coverage that is not matte but not high shine that I apply with a brush. Picking the right color is important but all are of the highlighting variety and may go on lighter and needs to settle and after a short while blends in perfectly.

One complaint is that I feel it doesn’t last the whole day. It still looks good but not fresh if you know what I mean. Good skin days make this a holy grail product for me -minus some ingredients I wish it didn’t have but are not deal breakers.

On bad skin days its satisfying for me with coverage and not looking bulky or cakey but it won’t give you full coverage if that’s what you’re looking for. The tint and coverage are important but also the SPF factor.

With pigmentation issues I want a broad spectrum above spf 35 and this is PERFECT. I used to use Revision Intellishade at $80 an ounce and a half and I much prefer this product.

I bought this along with the Purito Cica Clearing and Etude Precious Mineral BB creams to try and compare, and this is my fave out of the 3. I will say this is my new holy grail for everyday natural look.

Even my aunty complimented me. After moisturising (using The Ordinary range), I add a small squirt with a drop of The Ordinary squalane oil and just dab it all over my face using my fingers, then pat it in with my hands.

I have Asian light olive skin with pinkish yellow undertones, so haven’t found any shade that really matched me. I bought shade 23, natural beige and agree with the consensus that it does look greyish pale going on, but it sets in after a bit and blended in naturally with my skin tone.

I’m also happy it has spf42, meaning I don’t need to add sunscreen underneath which usually has that white caste and isn’t breathable. I didn’t have an issue with the scent. I plan to purchase shade 27 honey beige to see if that’s a more suitable shade on its own, or mixed together.

I just hope the formula is the same and I don’t get a dud knockoff, as some reviews have mentioned.

Yay! I found the perfect tinted moisturizer spf!! I have recently been redoing my makeup routine with the main goal of shortening my makeup application time and making it look more natural. This texture reminds me of a very light weight foundation.

I use my hands to apply because it glides nicely on the skin and I can see if diminish my red spots/discoloration. Sometimes I apply a little more under eyes and to my red spots! I follow it with some cream blush and contour, then set it all with a translucent setting powder.

And DONE!! It looks so natural! Highly recommend! (I only knocked off one star because I have to use about a quarter size amount to get a good even coverage, so I will probably have to buy one of these often).

First of all, thank goodness I didn’t pay full retail price for this joke in a tube. I got it on sale. However, this Dream Fresh BB Cream from Maybelline is nothing but a hyped up tinted moisturizer, and not even a good one at that.

I have basic Fair skin with neutral undertones. I bought the Light shade. The color unfortunately is a bit too dark, and as it wears it definitely looks orange. It oxidizes throughout the day. My biggest irritation with this product is that it is too greasy, never truly dries down, nor does it absorb into the skin.

I’m 38, and have somewhat normal to combination skin, other than acne prone and large pores. I really think this product is a fail. And it’s unfair that it would be marketed as a BB Cream. The hype is just that.

I’m sure it could work for people with super dry skin and who do not have any imperfections/wrinkles whatsoever, because it is all out misleading to claim that it “blurs imperfections”. Maybelline needs to get with it and update their formula as well as the shade range.

Take the orange out completely from of all of them and add a Fair category to the shade range. I know Maybelline can do better than this. Lastly, there’s practically no actual coverage on its own, and that would be fine if it was called a “tinted moisturizer with spf” like it actually is.

I am truly dissatisfied with this product. I have used a real BB Cream, and one of the best at that, with a wide variety of shades that actually gives some decent coverage and definitely blurs imperfections without the grease.

So, in conclusion, I would never recommend this product especially at this ridiculous price point.

I only wear eye makeup and oil free moisturizer. I needed some coverage because I have a lot of hyperpigmentation on my face. I didn’t want it to keep getting worse so I also wanted something with SPF in it.

This matches my skin perfectly (light medium). It feels very light on my face, isn’t too oily and minimized the appearance of my hyperpigmentation. It is very light coverage. I put my oil free moisturizer on first and then put the BB cream on over it.

Blends very well. Love that I will have protection from the sun. My only complaint was that the tube was too small but you only need to use a little so hopefully it will last a while. So that you can see the see the coverage I posted some pictures.

The last picture is with my normal lotion on and eye makeup. You see my hyperpigmentation. The others are with the BB cream with SPF. I hope that this review helps others.

This BB cream is a multitasker (as BB creams usually are 😁). This beauty balm hydrates, smooths, preps and corrects skin tone. I’m wearing the color nude. There are two other colors in this line. This feels smooth going on and my skin looks more even toned and less ruddy.

This has zero scent so if you don’t like scented products, this might be a good option. I use foundation over this but you can certainly wear this alone. My skin looks flawless and fresh when I use this.

The only two things in my opinion that need improvement are the color choices and the amount of product that spews out from the nozzle head. There are no deep colors available so it’s very limiting. The tube is also very packed with product so it spills out quickly if you’re not careful.

I’m not a fan of always using colour correctors on my skin. However, it does work really well for clients and very useful to have in your kit. Now I AM a MAJOR fan of the green corrector formula from NYX.

I especially have the tube correctors and the palette collectors. I has seen this cc cream corrector and thought I’d give it a go! It is more sheer than the palette and tub correctors it’s not as thick.

More like a bb cream consistency. I do think this works if your redness is mild. The green Neutralised my erythema (redness) around my cheeks. However, not much around my nose where I have heavy erythema.

I will say after foundation application it does Result in a fresh revived complexion. Overall for myself I prefer the palette formulas and would stick with them.

I love, love, LOVE this product. I have weird combo skin, and almost every foundation I’ve ever tried have looked awful on me. My skin hates foundation and foundation hates my skin (even thought I have clear skin most of the time and no texture issues).

But this product is really the only thing that works with my skin. It’s light but slightly buildable. It gives me the coverage I need, I don’t feel like I have anything on my face, and it’s very natural “your skin but better.

” It doesn’t sink into fine lines or settle weird and survives in Atlanta humidity. I don’t think this would be a good product for people who need more coverage or want to cover pimples, hyperpigmentation, things like that.

There’s just not enough coverage. It does help cover mild redness in my cheeks and shadows under my eyes (at least partially), but it won’t cover anything major. The reason why I didn’t give this five stars is because the shade range is abysmal.

This is such a good product, and more people deserve to use it! As a white person who’s naturally pale but tans easily, the three shades can basically get me through the year, from super-pale in the winter to more tan in the summer.

But because they’re quite sheer, I don’t think even the darkest shade wouldn’t work on actually tan or medium skin tones (at least I wouldn’t think so, maybe I’m wrong). There’s no chance any would work on someone with dark skin.

So basically this is an amazing product, but it seems like it’s really only going to work for white people. It’s 2020 NYX! Do better.

I’ve spent hundreds of dollars buying foundations suggested time and time again by influencers, but none of them quite hit the mark for daily wear. This product randomly caught my eye while shopping in store.

I’m so glad i decided to purchase. It’s virtually weightless on my skin and truly gives the “your skin but better” look. The color match was spot on for me. The only thing that bugs me a bit is that you have to use a decent amount of product to get decent coverage, and for the price point, i can see myself going through a bottle quickly.

That didn’t prevent me from buying an extra bottle to have on hand, and I’ll gladly purchase in the future. I hope this product never goes away!.

I can’t be the only one who doesn’t like this makeup. I thought I’m just doing it wrong. It can’t really be that bad. I looked up YouTube videos and tried applying it Bobbi’s way and it still looked like crap on me.

So kept scrolling and got past Bobbi’s videos to the everyday woman’s videos. It seems like they were having the same issues as me. After about the 5th video I was convinced it wasn’t just me. Also think the products I hated the most were the ones I purchased and I have a theory about that.

It may be more pricey than other similar products, so the consumer goes for the cheaper product, leaving Bobbi Brown on the shelf longer. Or could be the other similar products are offering a gift set with purchase and the consumer is thinking, “more makeup AND a lower price for basically the same thing; why not?” To me this produced a stink like urine.

I noticed it in the powder that I purchased and realized what was happening when the eyeshadow palette that was sent to me began producing the same stink after about 30 days of use. I test a lot of makeup and skincare products and have never been so repulsed by an odor like this before.

But this bb cream went on patchy, it was not skin-like, it was not buildable. It was a hot mess. And I did give it a 30 day go in an assortment of ways. I usually use a moisturizing sunscreen, primer and vitamin C cream (not in that order) in addition to foundation color.

I tried all; I tried one at a time, I tried with Bobbi brown vitamin base and without. This product is just awful. Another one bites the dust.

For a BB cream this was ok. The texture and application was nice. I generally only use BB cream when I’m going to a very natural “no makeup look”. I felt like product didn’t last all day and have an almost grey hue to my skin after applying a light setting powder over it.

Maybe this wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t set it with powder, however It made my skin look too shiny and tacky without the powder. This might be good for drier skins or anyone looking to achieve a dewy look but ultimately wasn’t super impressed by this product.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! I’ve been looking for a product that is not heavy and this is it!! :’) I’ve been using it for 3 weeks already and let me tell youuuu I loooove how lightweight it is and how it’s not thick! it sets in really really nicely! It covers blemishes and transforms intuí your shade.

I usually end up disappointed with high end foundations because at the end of the day they oxidize or start cracking and this BB Cream is totally the opposite. Not to mention that I live in Houston, TX where the heat and humidity is insane!! It’s really quick unlike the process of regular foundation.

Since it’s a thin consistency it won’t feel cakey I like to use the wet n wild prime focus serum all over face, target certain areas with a cream primer (for larger pores) and then this Amazing BB CREAM and finally tap lightly with a translucent powder and it will look like you have a flawless skin with the no makeup makeup look! I like to put either bronzer or blush and lightly do my eyebrows and add eyelash mascara with a blotted matte lip and OMG!! THIS IS JUST EVERYTHING I WANTED.

I finally found what I was looking for!! This product blends in so nicely and it doesn’t turn orange on me like others mention. I am a Medium tan I previously used to buy the CC Cream for IT Cosmetics in Medium shade.

Oh! Don’t use brushes or sponge use your hands to blend, you won’t see streaks!! I WILL BE BUYING AGAIN!! My smile line doesn’t mark easily with this product unlike other high end foundations. I love makeup, but I have grown to hate the process of doing it and putting it on. I work at a school and have been on the hunt for something to put on my face that helps with my uneven complexion and gives the appearance of wearing makeup, without really wearing a lot of it.

I was so excited to try this. Unfortunately, it was a dud. There are pros to it, but also cons. The pros: it feels like wearing nothing, it really does give the look of makeup without having to go through the long process of putting it on, it lasted really well on oily skin.

After wearing for 7 hours, the only area that was even a little bit shiny was my just nose. The cons: does it turn your face orange? Yes it absolutely does. It does not look natural whatsoever on. I never really took the chance to see how it looked on me, because I was applying it to my skin right as I got to work.

Until, I had a 7th grade student ask me at the end of the school day. do you realize your face looks as orange as Donald Trump’s? Which all jokes aside, that’s definitely not the look I am going for.

So in the trash it goes for me. While I want to give this a 1 star, I can’t because there are qualities about it that worked really well on my skin and I’m honestly really bummed that it didn’t work out because this would have been my new go to.

Perfect for my maturing, dry, sensitive, light/medium neutral olive skin. I’ve been searching for years for products with the the right formulation and shade to cover redness on my cheeks and blur my pores.

I’d narrowed down to using products from Kevyn Aucoin, Holika Holika, Purito and Lily Lolo, over moisturizer, sunscreen and a primer. A friend bought 2 shades and gave me the one that didn’t work for her.

This is my new holy grail, I don’t have to change product formulations according to the weather anymore. I used it in Vegas and LA, it’s been pure magic for me! For those previous reviews that complain about it turning orange, it sounds possible that the buyers have a cool undertone.

I’m of East Asian descent and usually go for medium foundation/bb shades, in this I got “light/clair”. I’m excited to have this amazing one and done product that’s so easy to travel with and apply. Can’t wait to have a way smaller makeup kit!.

I wanted to like this. I really did. I love a dewy, natural coverage that still lets my freckles show a bit. I was hoping for that. But this pills and peels. I always apply moisturizer before I put my makeup on, and I’ve never had an issue.

I wonder if this product doesn’t work well with moisturizer? Even with using a Pacifica moisturizer, this stuff pills and peels more often than not. It feels like little bit of skin is peeling off my face, leaving light colored bits and residue.

It’s awful! I’ve tried it with several kinds of moisturizers, also without. It still happens often. I love Pacifica products but unfortunately it’s a no for me!.

Age: 53 Skintone: Medium w/Freckles Let me just say do I feel younger wearing it, YES! Do I look younger, perhaps? I’m a child of the 80s and wore lots of makeup but now that I’m not as bold as I use to be.

Just a touch of makeup to make me look like I’m not fading out is all I want. This product is lite and creamy in texture. I absolutely love it. It makes my skin tone look even brighter. I switched it out for a popular drugstore brand that had hyaluronic acid in it but hated the dropper mess it made.

This is better for me, lighter, and makes me feel confident about my age.

When I put this on my face right away. At first I was so devastated, My skin looked so bad. A few days later I realized the Skincare I was using was wrecking my skin. I washed that all off. Waited a few days and Then with primed skin, making sure all hair was removed from skin and it was exfoliated.

I then applied this. I used Tarte concealer in places I had a bit of redness or a breakout ( i only used 4 small dabs in small areas). This is a game changer. I look like a goddess with flawless skin.

It gives the perfect glow. I used the medium shade and it was perfect. I also still have my natural healthy blush and color to my face so I dont look like a zombie and did not have to apply any blush or bronzer.

It really gives a beautiful natural glow. My skin looks much better and still shows my freckles. It may be different for person to person but, I found with super oily products on the face it cakes and looks funny.

You also have to make sure your brows and lip and everything is waxed or it cakes around your little hairs ( just saying if you were trying to get away with it for a day). This is flawless and I am glad I gave it another try.

It is beautiful on the skin. You have to play with it. I got rid of my old skincare and giving Pacifica a try. This feels good on my skin.

Ok, let me tell you, it took almost a bottle to learn how to use this gorgeous cream the best: for me, its a little bit of face oil in the am, then a sunscreen, then this foundation immediately, before the sunscreen is all dry.

Its a dry cream: it will make your face look dry ~ and feel dry, if the underlay is too dry: but if you use a good oil, i have used face hero by go-to, you will end up with an amazing complexion from this.

I am a scandinavian blonde girl, blue eyes, olive/golden skin. My skin has been dry this winter. This colour is perfection! You should definitely give this a go: try to tester if insecure. Best of luck.

Ps: if you are looking for something that goes on smoothly and is light in coverage, pure 100% tinted moisturiser might be your go to 🙂 In comparison, I use peach bisque. Xx.

I’ve been using this now for about 5 years. I use a mix of the Light and Medium depending on the time of year and tone of my skin. I use it everyday and means I have no need for foundation. It absorbs well so looks natural and does not dry my skin out.

I have sensitive, acne prone skin and this is great. I haven’t found any other BB cream that comes close – I’ll keep buying it!.

This is a smooth & creamy BB cream which gives a lovely luminous natural finish. I find the application to be even and streak free as long as I have moisturised really well first. I use a foundation brush and apply to small areas of my face at a time, buffing in well.

If I take the time to do this it lasts all day. I’m a mature skin and find that it doesn’t settle into lines and pores, I recommend this highly.

I received this new product from Influenster recently and I was happy to test it out since Dr. Jart is known to make great products. I have recently gotten into BB creams because of the fact that they’re skincare and makeup in one product and I don’t care for heavy full coverage in my base products.

This hits all my must haves, I love that it has amazing ingredients for the skin such as Niacinamide and Glycerin. It’s super moisturizing and hydrating without feeling heavy. The coverage is great, just enough to even out my skin tone without masking it.

It looks natural, like your skin but better. Gives it a beautiful natural looking dewy glow. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it does have natural fragrance in it and I avoid any kind of fragrances in my skincare and makeup products.

They are from essential oils, but I also try to avoid those just because my skin tends to be sensitive. However, I haven’t had any bad reactions to my skin from using it so that’s great! I do wish they come out with a fragrance free, EO free version for those who don’t like any kind of fragrances in the ingredients.

Other than that, this is a winner!.

This is the first product I’ve tried from Dr. Jart and I have enjoyed it! This product looks very natural on the skin. I prefer medium coverage so I used a brush to apply but when I wanted lighter coverage I used a sponge.

The product blends out easily and leaves a nice glowy but skin like finish. It does have a minty scent to it but it isn’t overpowering. I like that this contains a high amount of SPF and also other skincare ingredients.

The packaging looks like a squeeze tube, but it is actually hard plastic with a pump. I have oily skin so I paired it with a matte primer and powder (as I do with all completion products) to prolong the staying power.

The shade was too dark and warm toned for me so I had to mix it. However the shade and finish is perfect for my mom. Because of that I have given this to her. I really enjoyed trying this and I would consider picking it up in the lighter shade for me to use.

If you prefer light-medium coverage products with a natural glowy finish, I think this product is worth checking out!!.

Alrighty, W-O-W, I’m truly in awe of this new Dr. Jart Premium BB Cream with SPF 40. I never expected it to perform on ALL the levels, landing it at the top of my list of tinted SPF’s/moisturizers/foundations.

When I pump the balm onto my hand I immediately feel how silky and velvety it is. I have been using my fingertips to apply to my face and it blends in beautifully and super evenly. My face is immediately soft as butter to touch! The coverage is right around medium, but fairly decent for a BB cream.

I don’t like the look of being “made-up” so it’s definitely adequate coverage for me. This Beauty Balm, a few swipes of mascara, and a touch of lip gloss will do the trick for me! One drawback for some could be the fewer color choices currently available.

Luckily, this color happened to work for me, but there are neutralizing pigments within the balm that help the color adapt to your actual skin pigments. I really love the “finish” of this balm, as my skin has a satin-like feel after application vs.

a quite oily feeling I have felt with other brands. I’m incredibly impressed with Dr. Jart’s SPF BB Balm. Since receiving it I haven’t been reaching for any other products I was using- it’s just Dr. Jart for the win!.

I read Renegade beauty by Nadine Artemis 8 years ago which 360’d my view on beauty products forever more. and to put a long story short – I’ve been searching for 100 per cent natural products for ten years, been duped by catchy marketing, spent a small fortune on things that ended up in trash only to arrive here at 100 per cent pure.

Was it here all along? How did the Internet algorithms not take me here years ago? I feel sad!! If only I’d discovered them sooner. The bb balm is perfect. It ticks the following boxes: very natural looking, glowing, seamless, hydrating, being ‘lit from within’.

It’s the first time in work where people have said I looked blushing and glowy and healthy all at once. Tips to using this – It sinks in pretty fast, it’s thickness means if you want it to spread around more evenly, you need to apply it quick.

It also works great when you mix in a bit of instant tan (currently using tropic’s brand) if you need to up the shade in the summer. I have lots of open pores and some scarring from acne, and whereas it does not cover up the pores, that ‘lit from within’ look somehow diminishes the imperfections.

Ingredients are of course, flawless. When I’ve used the most expensive foundations of other brands that had full coverage, they’ve not matched this lit from within look. I don’t think I will have a need for foundation now, but I look forward to experimenting with 100 per cent pores foundation range.

Great for the gym, a daytime look, if you’re looking/feeling unwell and I don’t feel guilty when I forget to take my makeup off at night. I think it’s gonna be a staple in my minimalist makeup bag. Well done guys!!!.

Love this item! It’s almost magical. It goes on so lightly that at the time when i was putting it on, i felt like it didn’t do anything to better my skin. But then when I got back from dinner n looked at myself in the mirror, I was surprised at how amazing my skin looked.

I say magical, bc it’s pretty dang light coverage. And for a person like me who has a lot of discoloration and acne scars, I really need at least medium coverage to make my skin look better. But I don’t how this thing made my entire face look so much better without hiding many of those imperfections.

I could still my acne scars but they were just all blurred enough that my face looked even and clean. It’s really hard to describe. Try it and see! Also, look at ur face after u had it on for an hr or two.

When i looked right after putting it on, i felt like my face didnt look much better n it didnt cover anything. Anyway, it’s magical. Absolutely recommend!.

My Experiences: Since I don’t prefer heavy/thick products in my daily makeup, I always go for these kinds of products. The structure of the product is incredibly light and velvety, but it also provides a healthy/bright finish on the skin.

I can say low/medium coverage for its coverage, if you don’t have serious skin problems, it will make you happy, just as it satisfied me. It really gives an effect to the skin as if an Instagram filter has been applied, as it is said.

My favorite part is that it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin since it doesn’t seem to be on the skin, and it provides an extra protection on my sunscreen thanks to the filters it contains. (This product is not a sunscreen, please use your sunscreen beforehand.

) It never caused acne during the time I used it. (This is a first for me, because my sensitive skin usually has an allergic reaction to make-up products) I think in this respect, it can be the crown jewel of sensitive skin.

Let’s come to the main problem, even though I bought the lightest color of the product (the lighter colors came out after I bought it), the color of my skin was incredibly dark. Even though I’m brunette, it caused a purplish reflection on my skin.

This is probably because it has a beige tone.

Let me start by saying that I have stupidly sensitive skin, combination and dehydrated, rosacea and Malassezia (fungal acne) prone skin. I have light skin with neutral, yellow undertones, I do believe it’s somewhere on the Fitzpatrick II scale.

I got the Light Beige shade, which contains a lot of grey in it and it made my face slightly green. My only real issue with this product is that it contains Malassezia triggering ingredients. After using it, mostly on the second day, I will wake up with lots of bumps on my face, especially on my T-zone area.

This product would be literally the perfect BB Cream ever otherwise. Fingers crossed Purito will consider the FA folks in their future product development. Pros: – Calms my irritation and redness if my rosacea flare is not too severe – Excellent value – Very good coverage – It has a lovely creamy consistency – A little goes a long way, great to top up your SPF during the day – Cruelty free – Easy to recycle packaging Cons: – Not Malassezia (fungal acne) safe – A rather limited shade range.

I have pretty good skin, so most of the times foundations just aren’t worth it for me since they only help skin tone, but putting a product on top of your skin will always make the texture worse. Before I tried this BB cream, I had given up on wearing base makeup, since evening out my skin tone but making my skin texture look makeup-y in exchange just was a bad trade-off.

This is the most beautiful and skin-like texture I have ever seen from a BB cream or foundation. I was blown away when I put it on for the first time, and honestly I still am every time I wear it. It doesn’t break up on me or start to look worse over time either, and if anything will melt into my skin more and more through the night.

People don’t believe that I’m wearing foundation, but I am. The coverage is medium, but it can be built up to full or sheered out to light. It also has a very satiny natural finish. It definitely is not matte, and you’d have to use powder to mattify it, but depending on how you prep your skin it can look dewy too.

The only issue I have with this product is the shade range, which is extremely disappointing and I hope they expand it even more.

If I could only use 1 makeup product for the rest of my life, it would be this. Natural looking medium coverage, smooth texture, hydrating, and a great colour match (which normally I struggle with being so pale).

The only things to note are that the mineral spf can cause it to pill if you work it for too long, and it does dry down quite quickly so it isn’t one of those products to dot everywhere and then blend – you need to work in sections.

I also found that using a brush is best, I used to use a sponge and it left a lot of texture, so much so that I thought I didn’t like the product. It’s super lightweight and feels like you’re just wearing moisturiser.

I got multiple compliments on my skin the first day of wearing it :).

As a 61 Yr old I have been looking for something other than a foundation to give my skin a bit of a glow. Asked assistant in superdrug who suggested this bb cream advised me to get light as it tends to go a bit orange! Got home eager to try, immediately thought this tubes not going to last long lol applied as instructed wasn’t sure about result.

Read the other reviews here where everyone was saying how orange ligh was, I toke a mirror outside still wasn’t sure so decided to remove it. Omg!! The cotton pads were so orange and I really didn’t apply that much.

Not sure what this says about the product because I still wasn’t sure when it was on my face.

I bought this during lockdown as it seemed a little overkill to use my normal full coverage foundation when hardly leaving the house but at the same time didn’t want to scare my husband and applying make up is something I enjoy.

I bought this with low expectations as I generally choose a very thick total coverage foundation and when a white liquid squeezed out of the tube onto my hand it would not be an exaggeration to say I was horrified and rolled my eyes – another make up fail i thought! But for the comedy factor more than anything I pressed ahead and swiped the white liquid onto my cheeks and my horror was immediately transformed into amazement.

The white liquid seemed to ‘magically’ transform into a soft dewy velvet that swept across my face hiding every blemish, large pore and problem area I normally struggle with so much. I will never look back and have recommended this to all my friends and family and will continue to use this long after lockdown has lifted!.

I love this to wear during the summer. Its easy to put one my fingers and go. It does get a bit shiny throughout the day, but a quick pat with a tissue, or powder is all it takes to decrease the shine.

Very light weight. I use a different foundation for the winter months. One that has more coverage. Thats my personal preference. This makes my face look fresh and not overdone. Love it and would recommend it.

This is a fab bb cream!! So lightweight but gives serious coverage for its lightness! Lovely consistency and wears well! Stays on for a good length of time for a bb and lightweight! Definitely my go to bb cream from now on.

Perfect for day to day wear to slap on if you need a bit of colour, coverage 🙂 instead of a foundation! Also could be worn at night as it has good coverage and you can build it up!.

The sheer formula is perfect for light makeup days in the summer and spring time. Combined with a good full coverage concealer to spot conceal and brighter the undereyes, it’s my daily go to. It blends seamlessly.

It does however allow radiance to come through after a good few hours of wear time, even when set with a very good mattifying powder. I think this is a good product and the price is right on it. I would definitely recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with e. l. f BB cream with spf 20. It blends beautifully into my skintone and has a perfect texture for a BB cream. Sometimes I want spf protection and light coverage because it’s easy and I don’t like the feeling of a thick, full face of makeup on a daily basis.

I started using this product when my skin was in a sensitive phase and rosecea flare ups were frequent. It never irritated my skin and gave me just enough coverage. Of course I would dab concealer under by eyes or problem spots Sometimes.

I think you can’t go wrong with this product. It’s budget friendly and a quality product. I use mine in fair.

living!! for this !! bb cream 😍 not only does this blend so nice into the skin (and evens your skin tone, and covers redness) but it protects your skin with the spf 20 helloooo! if u haven’t tried this yet, what are u waiting for? elf products are just so good, i finished off with the and it just looks so nice for a quick walgreens run :,) wearing a little bit of on my cheek, inner eye corner and another elf product in my inner eye as well 💜💜💜 definitely shake the bb cream before using it.

[brand:elf-cosmetics] So I have tried so many brands of foundation/BB creams, and some that were very high end. Not that those other foundations didn’t do a great job as well. I will have to say I was a little afraid of trying this brand as I wasn’t so familiar with this brand.

After trying this foundation/ BB cream I am a fan for life. The coverage is full, smooth, not heavy, no cakey coverage after hours of wear. This is the only foundation/BB cream that has not clogged my pores that cause breakouts and the shade seems like it was made just for me.

Very important side note this product also contains sunscreen.

Have used this product for some time. Tried others even expensive products. Always retur to this. Excellent product at a excellent price. I would be happy to highly recommend this. I am in my 70s and it’s brilliant.

Love this. The medium is quite on the dark side, which whilst I have a summer tan is great, but I have also got the light one and will be mixing them to get the right colour. Goes on very well, coverage is great and appears to have a blurring effect and looks quite dewy.

It’s not very often I rave about make up, but I feel this one deserves it.

Amazing! I took a risk buying a cheaper brand but it’s taught me that expensive doesn’t always give great results. I’ve had such flattering comments from friends. I’m quite naturally pale so I mix the light and medium together which is perfect!.

Hi. I’ve been using this brand for pretty long time and can definitely recommend this product. I have oily skin with acne and blackheads texture. This product will truly help you to recover your skin, provide the right treatment and will not damage your natural skin bio layer.

It contains medical additives in right amount to not make your skin addictive but treat in eight way. I also love the price range, very reasonable.

I loved the feeling in my skin, as I had very dry skin. However after leaving it for a couple of hours it dries and your skin starts to flake, you cannot touch it at all, it’s not buildable and doesn’t stay during a workout, which is usually what I use it for or anything that would make you transpire a bit.

It didn’t make me breakout though. But I don’t really see the point of using this. I prefer to show my blemishes rather than having flakes. It looks weird and makes it look unhygienic. I have tried a lot of products of La Roche Posay, but this one it’s not worth it at all.

Also a BB cream without any SPF is not very helpful either. To be honest I have tried lots of BB creams and I don’t think I ever liked one.

The worst experience ever!! Because I was not sure about the shade, so I asked the online advisor what should I buy. I told her my skin tone and emphasized that although I am Asian, I have rather fair skin and I am afraid the light shade might look fake on me.

She said I should buy the medium shade. Since I was a bit skeptical, I asked again. She was so sure that I should buy the medium shade and didn’t even hesitate once. And I thought, “She is so sure. She must be very experienced.

I should trust her” So I bought the medium shade and tried it, guess what??? My face looked two shades darker than my neck!!!! So disappointed. I guess I’ll use this as a bronzer. What a waste of money.

But too much trouble to ask for a refund.
