I use ezCheck check printing software and, after a little monkeying around to get the routing numbers, etc. to print in the right location, once I got it all set up and saved I can either print blank checks or print the whole thing all at once with the Quickbooks module.

You can even put your own custom logo on the check, something the check printing companies love to charge extra for. Mess up on a check, don’t void it making a mess in your bookkeeping system, shred the screwed up one, fix the error and simply reprint another with the same check number.

So with these checks you need to use a special ink to for the routing number. Buying these checks are a great deal, but you’ll still need the bank numbers professionally printed or either you’ll need to buy the special ink.

I have no idea why you would send out blank paper when I ordered checks! You didn’t print my bank routing and account numbers. They are useless to me.

I added these to my cart, expecting that I’d be offered an opportunity to customize my bank information for personalization. Unfortunately these checks aren’t customized by Walmart, instead they are completely blank checks.

The expectation is that you’ll print the account number and bank routing number (in machine readable font) each time you write a check. The product wasn’t what I expected; I’d ordered customized checks from Walmart before, but apparently that’s on another website and not part of the general online catalog.

Make sure you’re getting what you expect: if it’s a customized check, that process occurs BEFORE you checkout.

I purchased this so I could save money ordering checks for my business from my printer or the bank. You have to buy magnetic ink for this and not all printers are supported so beware, you may have to buy another printer if yours does not accept the ink.

I happened to have an HP laser printer that compatible so I took an empty cartridge and ordered the laser ink on eBay and went through the tedious task of cleaning the cartridge, wasting sheets of all black printing to make sure there was no more regular powder before filling it with magnetic powder.

If you buy their branded ink, it is not worth it to even go through all this as the ink is expensive. I downloaded the Presto X1 software from VersaCheck and it was a little tricky but I called tech support and they advised me what my issues were.

I made the mistake of adding their validation security for my checks and cost me another $19. 95. I could not seem to print checks without it nor could I cancel it. Their tech support is either by email or pay for it.

I managed to print out the checks and they actually work. The paper is super thin and they print is not as dark as the checks I got from my printer. Maybe it is because of the ink I purchased. My final conclusion is that it is easier to purchased the checks through the bank or your Printing Company and pay the extra.

I wound up saving about $25 but not worth the hassle. Next time, I will call my printer.

If I could give a negative star I would. I had forgotten how bad Versa Check was 10 years ago when I used it for personal checks; it literally has not moved forward since then. The digital platform is still in Windows 3.

1 (!) and it is painful to use. About a month after buying the checks, I still cannot print a check. They may and up fueling a winter fireplace fire.

Had no idea that I needed the software to run it. The box said works with Quickbooks. I don’t see how. Quickbooks makes you buy their checks. Versa check means another layer of software that I have to integrate with everything.

I needed a simple invoice book to help insure I could properly track some payments for my home based side hustle business. I was thrilled with the cost and value. It’s made my starting an accounting process for this year logical and simple.

I like that the design of this receipt book allows for you to enter information how you need it for financial records. It provides a copy for me to keep and remains firmly in the book for safe keeping.

I bought this and I like it. It works well for what we need it for. Invoices! Yes, I would recommend this statement book! It has a couple of those ink sheets in there so you can keep a copy for yourself.

You just have to put it between the white and yellow sheet and make sure the numbers on top matches on each sheet when you write out your invoice so you will have your copy too!.

These used to be perfect for what we needed. The last two times I ordered three-part checks from Office Depot, the checks were wider than they had been in previous years. The envelopes, however, are not any longer than they have been.

They also are not perfectly square. The bottom side of the envelopes are the same length as the width of the new checks, so the checks do not fit inside the envelopes properly. The top side of the envelope is just slightly longer than the width of the check, but that doesn’t help much.

The next larger size of envelope is much too large, so the checks slide around inside the envelopes, and the name and address of the recipient and sender do not line up with the windows. Why would a company make wider checks without making the appropriate adjustments to the envelopes? It takes about four times longer to stuff checks now, and the majority of the checks are crinkled up and bent because there is not enough room for them in the envelopes.

I gave the envelopes an average rating. I cannot say that the envelopes were bad, they just are not compatible with my QuickBooks checks. They are the right size, but the windows do not match up with the address and return address on my checks.

It was the only Double-Window #8 envelopes in the Office Depot that I went to. I returned the Office Depot envelopes. I bought my last box of check envelopes from Staples. I’ll go to Staples and see if they still carry the #8 Double-Window envelopes that do work with my QuickBooks.

We just finished up the box we bought of these, and fitting our computer printed checks into these envelopes is hard. The fit is too tight and requires a great deal to try and make a good fit. Trying the name brand envelopes this time around.

Definitely know what size envelopes you need for your checks. They all look the same and it took two trips to get the right envelope for our checks. I like the security feature on the envelopes.

These envelopes are well-made & easy to use. They do require a little extra time & pressure to make sure the flaps seal securely. I wish I’d known this at purchase, tho: these envelopes are not the best ones to use for 8 1/2 x 11″ mailings.

You can’t just do a tri-fold & stuff the envelope — you need to make an extra fold to make sure the addresses can be seen through the windows. This makes a single sheet of paper a little bulky to try to fit into the envelope neatly, which also affects the way it seals.

It’s a plastic box with some small color patches and patterns. The target material is not entirely flat and some of the colors are shiny, which often causes unexpected results. The action of the plastic mechanism is rather crude, making it difficult to operate without touching the targets.

If it worked as advertised, then perhaps the shortcomings could be overlooked because the intrinsic value of the product might override the negatives. Only then could this product can be worth anything like $150.

But assuming for the moment that one is willing to spend so much for so little, there is also the issue that the product is advertised to work with DaVinci Resolve, but doesn’t actually do so. Sure, one can point the camera at the target and then see the results in Resolve, and that actually can be useful for manually adjusting white balance, gamma and color, but if one uses this ColorChecker with Resolve’s Color Check function, the automated results are often inferior to the original.

Finding this to be very odd, I reached out to X-Rite, hoping for some explanation and help. Unfortunately, I got no meaningful help, and moreover, X-Rite quickly passed the buck to Blackmagic. And yet, even now, they continue to advertise that it is compatible with DaVinci Resolve.

Even in the video tutorial linked from X-Rite’s site, the presenter has to resort to manual adjustments in order to get a usable result. In fact, I would challenge anyone to find a tutorial where the presenter is satisfied with the automated results.

I mean, in spite of the company name, it’s not black magic – there is a science to color, and it should be simple enough to programmatically adjust the image so that the image matches the expected values of the targets.

From there, it would be a much simpler matter to adjust to accommodate individual taste. I let the X-Rite support person know that I intended to post a review sharing my experience, including the support experience, but even so, his final response was “.

X-Rite can not support you in it functionality in Davinici Resolve. ” Okay, so be it. Lesson learned. And here is my review. My advice is that if you are thinking that you can use the X-Rite ColorChecker to get scientifically correct color in DaVinci Resolve, you should think again.

Maybe Blackmagic Design will eventually fix their software so that it produces the expected results with the X-Rite ColorChecker, but since X-Rite continues to advertise their product as being compatible with Resolve, it will be difficult for any outsider to guess if/when it actually willwork.

And the support person certainly didnt give me any reason to believe that X-Rite had any intention of working with Blackmagic to get it fixed. Probably easier to just continue to make empty claims and then blame Blackmagic after customers have already spent their hard-earned money on a product that doesn’t work as advertised.

This was a disappointment. The print on the focus card was bleeding onto the grey card within days of use, most of which was in my camera bag. I didn’t expect this to be so fragile. The quality is very low for a product of this price.

The colors did look better after calibration. This form factor is convenient to have with you but in practice (for video) it’s arguably too small. I also feel that the focus and gray card panels are redundant/unnecessary for most users.

I’m considering trying a different model and plan on carrying it in it’s own hard case in my camera bag. I don’t have any experience with other manufacturers but I’m unimpressed with X-Rite’s print quality.

Getting correct color has always been expensive, but it still seems a tad overpriced in my opinion. On the other hand, it would save a lot of time if you have a lot of work and pay pay for itself that way.

I don’t personally have a lot of work, but what I do needs to be good. This has really helped me get more consistent results.

My 87 year old father still has a land line telephone. He likes it because it is easier for him to use than a cell phone. It is also far less expensive. The only downside is the constant barrage of spam and scammer calls he receives every single day, all day long.

Since these cretins do not adhere to the guidelines of the Do Not Call List they call sometimes as early as 5:00 AM. Multiple requests have been made for them to stop calling but nothing has worked. I should also mention that these criminals constantly attempt to have my father give his personal information such as his bank card, social security number, and Medicare information.

We even considered canceling his phone service because the situation became so untenable. But then I made another attempt to block these scumbags. About a year ago I purchased a call blocker device but it seemed to accomplish very little.

It seemed to be poorly designed and made. Very few calls were blocked. Enter the CPR V500 Call Blocker. The device is very easy to use. The instructions for initial set up were very easy to follow. I also like the simplicity in its design.

There is just a big red button that is clearly labeled for Block Caller. I have noticed a distinct reduction in the number of spam/scammer calls received. The device worksas promised. I would definitely recommend this product to others who want to reduce the number of harassing spam, scammer, and robocalls they receive.

Was listed as “New-inBox – Other” so I can’t complain per se. No owner’s manual (I had to d/l from the internet). Scroll Buttons (Block List/Call List) and Delete Button don’t work. Still, it’s programmable using the codes in the User Manual.

Managed to reset to Factory Setting and am adding Block Numbers manually as needed. Some of the programming codes don’t seem to work, while others do. Came from a Goodwill Store, so given the price, I’m satisfied, but not thrilled, with the technology.

My phone has gotten considerably quieter, but I’m still adding numbers some 2 weeks later.

It works as advertised. Easy to block calls as they come in as well as calls that you may have missed. You can block the calls after they call. It shows you how many blocked calls have tried to call you after you block them.

You can block all numbers from a group of calls, for example 702-960 and it will block all calls starting with those numbers and it only counts as 1 blocked call. It shows the number of calls you have blocked.

If you block a call by mistake, you can unblock it. Very user friendly. Enjoying the peace and quiet.

This tape is great for marking cyclocross courses. Visible and strong, at a good price.

it’s as good as any caution tape. I wish lowe’s would of have the same tape with adhesive too.

It was easy to install and works great. I am sure there are better record cleaners out there but the Record Doctor works wonderfully and is much cheaper. The replacement kit restored the only worn parts.

Works better than expected. Great value as well. I’d highly recommend it. Maybe if you only played vinyl, spending more for an automated system would be worth it?

I’ve been cleaning a lot of albums and your definitely going to need replacement strips. This kit comes with 2 strips and you can clean a fair amount of albums before replacing. Good quality!

Don’t bother buying this product, I purchased two and neither of them were big enough to fit the red book in!!
